How You Define Success Could Hold You Back? Consider This!

“Sometimes people don’t succeed because of what success means to them. How we define success, can determine whether we are successful, or not. Whether we have realistic goals, expectations and time frames, matter greatly. It also matters what is important to us!

What do we focus on? What is it we value? Where do we put our attention? Are we mostly interested in things or in people? Do we consider relationships and what we can do for others, or do we only think, what is in it for me? This quote, is a great definition.

‘Success: To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.’ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I love it. What about you? Perhaps, you’d like to try that on. Not only is it lovely, it is practical and achievable. If you succeed in doing those things, you will feel good. Feeling good and succeeding breeds more of the same. Perpetuate goodness and it is returned to you. Have a blessed day succeeding. Enjoy, delight and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
