“Athletes and Olympians know training and conditioning isn’t anything anyone wants to always do.  It can be cold and rainy.  The champion can be sore and tired but they condition and train anyway. Training can be grueling but the champion commits to doing it.

Muhammad Ali said ‘I hated every minute of training, but I said, don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’ He persevered  in the present. He did whatever it took because he knew it mattered tomorrow. Our commitment and habits are important.

It’s the daily habits that keep us going when we don’t feel we want to. It is the habit of doing! It is the mental habit of doing it anyway. Athletes train and condition their minds, and their will so when they ‘don’t feel like it’ they do it anyway. It works because of their habits.

If Your Dreams Don’t Scare You They Aren’t Big Enough

That is the power of habit and conditioning. Ali further stated, ‘It is the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. Once that belief becomes a deep conviction things begin to happen.’ Napoleon Hill said the same things many years earlier. As did ancient mystics.

For centuries people have known and shared what works. Many come across it. Many hear it. Few apply it. Your negative conditioning doesn’t take a break because you don’t feel like it. So develop positive habits and keep going. Condition; train yourself.

Constant and consistent daily repetition of positive thoughts, feelings and actions is practice. It is rehearsal. When you practice correctly long enough you get good. Practice the winner attitude as Ali and others have and you can actually master it. It works!

To Be A Champion You Must believe You Are The Best 

Create habits that serve you in your pursuits. Create supportive habits that help you to be happier, be healthier, make more money, get along with others better and enjoy all of life that much more. Practice the gratitude habit. Commit. Condition yourself.

How Setting An Intention Can Make Your Day!

“Each day is an opportunity to rock your world. How you begin your day can determine how the day goes, flows and ends. If you want it to end well you need it to begin well, at the very least. Here is how you begin having more great days and fewer struggles.

After your first waking thoughts of, ‘I love my life. I allow, accept and receive all the gifts the universe has for me. Something magical is going to happen for me today,’ or another positive variation, set an intention. Direct your mind to consider what you’d like to happen.

‘I allow, accept and receive all the gifts the universe has for me’ is an intention. The thought directs your mind and your behaviors for the day. It sets a framework for you to follow. Allow, accept, receive. You can be surprised by what shows up or you can look for it or both.

The Power Of Intention Is The Power To Manifest And To Create

Make a decision, a positive determination,  of what you want your day to be like.  When you wake up in the morning plan for a good day. Realize that your expectations help shape what you find during your day.  For example, ‘today I will behave in loving ways towards Sue’.

‘Today, I will look for the best in each person I meet.’ ‘Today, I will feel more peaceful at work.’ ‘I will discover times to have more fun and delight throughout the day’. You could even specify 3 times during the day, or any reasonable number you choose. It’s up to you.

‘I will focus my attention on what I want to accomplish.’ ‘I will take one small step toward making my dream come true’. Determine what this may be and commit to it. In other words, how do you intend to utilize your day to make good things happen?

The Mind Is The Matrix Of All Matter You Get What You Focus On

If you get up each day looking for smiles you will find more than if you get up looking for frowns. Get it? It sets the frame for the day. Could you still find frowns? Of course, but if you are looking for smiles, you have a better chance of finding them. Seek and find.

When you anticipate good things happening you are much more likely to have good things happen. If you think the best about people you are much more likely to encounter people at their best. Store and remember your wins. Cut and forget your losses.

Determine what you want the day to be like and go out and live it. You can set at least one intention for the day. You could set more. You could even set a new intention with each change in activity or location. I’ll explain it but I suggest you start easy and build up.

Let The Power Of Intention Lead The Way – Set Positive Intentions

‘I intend to go downstairs and enjoy my breakfast. I will drive safely to work and enjoy the ride no matter what traffic is like. I will enjoy my co-workers. I will make 5 new contacts during this day. I will talk to Pete at lunch and help him out.’ Don’t do these all at once.

You do each one prior to the activity or the location change. You set your intention before going into the new activity or area. You set the frame for how you want it to be. Get it? This has the added benefit of making you consciously think about what you want during that time.

It takes haphazard out of it. It gives you a focus. What do you want? As you head into the kitchen how do you want breakfast to go? As you get behind the wheel how do you want the drive to go? When you enter the work place how do you want your workday to go?

A Good Intention Clothes Itself With Power – You Make It Happen

What do you intend to make happen? It helps you aim your thoughts, feelings and behaviors deliberately instead of just going through the day. It is a means of directing your mind. It is a pursuit.  It is what you intend to do. You commit and follow though on it.  Stay positive!

‘I will find and write down 25 things to feel grateful for before going to bed tonight.’ Then do it. Make it a point to keep your word. Don’t break promises to yourself or anyone else. Keep your word to you! This is most important. Do it! Then feel proud and grateful.

Your life can transform incredibly when you add the power of intention to what you do. Your focus and your ability to get things done, make things happen, will improve. You will develop a great new supportive success habit that helps you feel marvelous. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Begin To Claim Back Your Health And Well Being

“The road to good health and fitness is lined with products and services. Exercise equipment and gym memberships unused. Diets tried, applied and given up on. It is a billion dollar industry much of which is driven by profits for failure. Is good health possible?

Yes, of course it is. Everyday healthy, well-adjusted, happy people walk the planet. At the same time heart disease, cancer, obesity, diabetes for young and old, allergies are on the increase. Much of this is related to the chemicals and additives hidden in our foods.

Our food, our soil, are nutritionally depleted and most people live on processed, packaged, fast foods or restaurants. We live in boxes with off gassing carpets and particle board. Our water is fluoridated and contaminated. Sorry, it is not a pretty picture overall.

It Only Takes One Person To Change Your Life – That Person Is You

Yet, most science and research and experts agree that filling your mind with happy, positive or pleasant thoughts is the quickest road to health. Research into beliefs and the placebo effect demonstrate the effectiveness of our mindset in healing and recovery.

We can experience greater well being maintaining a high vibration positive mindset; an optimistic outlook, coupled with healthy daily practices. A good dose of positivity and personal belief in your own health, moderate exercise, good food and sleep can work wonders.

Attitude determines your altitude. It is the special ingredient that helps all the rest work together more easily and effortlessly. The quickest way to make and manage any lifestyle change,  job or career, relationships, etc., is by adopting a healthy positive attitude.

You Are What You Eat So Don’t Be Cheap Fast Easy Or Fake

Your happy thoughts and practices do help create a healthy body and mind. If there are a lot of changes you wish to make do a little bit at a time. First and foremost get your thinking working for you. That is number one. Control your thoughts and emotions. Think positive.

Adjust what you eat to include more healthy fresh fruits and vegetables. Limit the amount of processed foods and sugars. Drink more pure. clean water. Walk more, move more. Get some better sleep. Detox occasionally by bath or sauna. Get some fresh air.

Keep it simple. Avoid chemical and toxins in products. Read labels.  If you can pronounce what is in it don’t buy or eat it. When it comes to hair and body products a good rule of thumb is if you can’t eat it (or pronounce it) don’t wear it or use it. Simplify everything.

Stick With It – The Longer You Do The More Normal It Will  Feel

You don’t have to try to live in a log cabin or back in time. Simply attempt to get a little bit closer to nature. Live life and eat more like it was a 150 years ago when there fewer less chemicals and substances in the environment, our food, and less artificial light.

We were closer to the earth, more agrarian and less industrialized. Today, we are bombarded by microwaves, wi-fi, constant endless, distractions, chemicals, pesticides, poisons in our food, water and building and decorating materials. Simplify. Get back to nature.

Get back to nature even just little bit. We can’t escape the woes of the world, yet, we need not be worried or live fearfully. What we are able to do to live healthier, perhaps we should do. Engage in healthy mental and physical practices. Relax more, chill and seek balance.

Today’s Progress Is Determined By Yesterday’s Choices

Meditate and forgive. Practice appreciation and gratitude. Live and let live. Enjoy people and the planet. Get out more often. Socialize. Leave political talk aside sometimes and just have fun and pleasant conversations. Dance, sing, be free. Let go. Delight and enjoy.

You’ll feel better if you do a little of each of these. It isn’t difficult if you take tiny steps to improve your health overall. Then it is just a step at a time. You can do this. It is quite simple to simplify. Think, eat, sleep, move and live well. Celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes

Stop Working For Money!

“Apple CEO Tim Cook stated, ‘If you work only for money you will never be happy. You will never have enough.’ The article was posted on Facebook and many people responded complaining that he didn’t know what they were going through. The were mad at him.

It’s easy for people to miss the point when one is caught up in hardship. If all one is focused on is making ends meet, getting out of debt, and paying off bills one may have a skewed version of reality. That reality is hard. Lack fills the mind. Struggle is all one knows.

Make family, or love, or freedom or something else more important than money and work for that. Money won’t make you happy. Be happy first. Live for a larger purpose than lots of cash. Make your end result something valuable. Money isn’t really a good motivator.

You Are Already Rich – Notice All You Have That Money Cant’Buy

Wanting money either comes from lack mentality or greed mentality.  If you have a larger more important vision you will do whatever it takes, yes even struggle, to make ends meet and rise above. You will do it for the love of your family or your larger goal.

Money, seems to be a good motivator, for most of us, but it truly isn’t enough. When you seek fulfillment of a larger purpose, and as you improve your situations, you feel better. Feeling good about what you are seeking, feeling it is worthwhile, is a better motivator.

Actually, it works best if you feel better first. Then work at your larger purpose. If you feel good first it means your thoughts and feelings are aligned. It means your head is screwed on correctly so that your feelings and actions flow more easily and readily.

Outstanding People Have In Common – Absolute Sense Of Mission

Cook’s point seems to be if all you want is money there will never be enough. If you think money will save you and make you happy and free then you will always just want more.  Instead, look to something more valuable to fulfill you and pursue that. Greed isn’t great.

Pursue your larger vision first and money may follow. Working for money isn’t enough of a big reason but your children or your parents may be. It is difficult to listen to people who have a lot of money because we fall into the ‘that is easy for you to say’ syndrome.

‘You don’t know how we struggle’. My guess is (and I don’t know his history he could have been born to wealth, but if not) he worked hard to get where he is. Most successful business owners worked and struggled fiercely. Most don’t get a free ride to the top.

Some People Are So Poor – All They Have Is Money

Bottom line if you want to end money woes develop yourself. Educate yourself on how to make and handle money. That is good. Instead of seeking money seek to make yourself happy first. Get your head and heart in order. Pursue higher values than piles of cash.

Live your passion. Pursue your passions. That will keep you interested and dedicated. Your focus will be on what you love and enjoy instead of what you don’t have. We get what we focus on. Stay focused on good things. Be grateful for what you already have. Enjoy life to the fullest now. Don’t miss out on it. Live! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Are Stupid If You Keep Doing This! Stop It!

“Haven’t you suffered long enough? Aren’t you tired with the way things are? If everything is great, then great! However, if you want it to be different but can’t yet figure out how to do it I have good news for you. You can live life on your own terms and make it so.

How? You have to switch your thinking from non-supportive to supportive. You need to develop supportive habits and replace old ones that haven’t worked well for you. Yes, it will take some work. It may not happen over night but you can do it. The time has come.

Begin by replacing your poverty thinking. I don’t just mean lack thinking about money although that is a good place to correct now too. Begin by steering your thoughts away from ‘I can’t’ and asking yourself, ‘why things suck’ to ‘I can’ and ‘I can improve this.’

A Negative Thought Will Never Give You A Positive Life

Move from poverty thinking to prosperity thinking. I don’t mean wishing or rubbing a magic lamp. I mean thinking that you are able to learn to make a difference. You can change your situation. If you don’t know how you can and will learn how. Begin right here. I can!

Then repeat these thoughts. Whenever you find yourself thinking otherwise, stop, take a deep breath or two and start changing to more productive thinking. As you do you will develop an awareness of when you automatically go negative. Eventually you’ll cease it.

You will begin to eliminate the negative and begin to think positive supportive thoughts. Face it, no one does much by thinking, ‘I can’t do it. It won’t work. Nothing ever works out right for me. I don’t have enough money.’ It just doesn’t help you unless it propels you to fix it.

Train Your Mind To See The Good In Every Situation – Be Positive

If you don’t fix it you are being stupid. You are living as a victim of your own conditioned thinking instead of taking charge and changing your life for the better. Why do I say you are stupid? Because YOU can do something about it but don’t. Get it?

Tough Love! It’s time to switch from less than glorious thinking to glorious thinking. Time to start thinking, feeling and acting better. When you do you get better results. It is all up to you. Don’t wait. Start now. Develop powerful productive positivel habits that serve you to live the life you want. Be grateful you can. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Do This One Thing And Claim Greater Power And Control!

“Many people do not want to face the fact that everything we do is by choice. Though science estimates we are 99.5% or better unconsciously automated by thinking, feeling and behavioral habits, we acquired while growing  up, we still have some ability to choose.

Mostly, we have the ability to choose to change our habits and neurologically rewire our thinking, feeling and behaving. That is where we find our power. When we replace the conditioning we acquired while growing up we become free. Yup, truly free!

We recondition ourselves with supportive thoughts, feelings and behaviors that serve us better than the old ones. Some people don’t believe this is possible and remain a victim of their conditioning. Others step forward and decide to do whatever it takes to change.

Think And Speak Positive And Positive Things Will Happen

The point is we still have some choice left in us. That tiny portion of conscious choice is an incredible gift. Because of it we can determine to accomplish many incredibly things. Therefore, it is important we use it wisely, productively and positively. Aim it for good results!

One important exercise in awareness and developing positive control and power is to begin to listen to what you say. Listen and make changes. Do not say anything that you do not want to become true for you. Whether you think this is a possibility or not.

Adopt the mental frame that it is. Imagine your words are powerful and even magical. Whatever you say will manifest. Therefore, pretend anything you say comes true AND do not say anything you don’t want to come true. Only speak what you want to manifest.

Talk More About Your Blessings Than You Do About Your Burdens

Choose your words. Choose what you say to yourself silently and out loud to others. Become aware that you can choose to rephrase and even rethink it. Don’t allow yourself to speak anything other than what you choose. When you choose you exercise your power.

Do it. Try it on. Listen and become aware. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Put a positive watchdog or guard before your lips. If you utter something that isn’t what you want go ahead, change it or re-speak it. Do this for at 30 days consistently. Be rigorous.

A couple things will happen. You will become so much more aware of your automated thoughts and things you say. You will notice how NOT positive you are. You will notice how what you say supports what you don’t have or the problems that repeatedly occur.

Speak Victory Not Defeat – What You Say Is What You Get

You will notice things changing for the better. You will notice yourself speaking in a more targeted and productive way. You will get clearer on what you want. You will become more positive and potentially more productive. Everything can change! Stick with it.

My hope for you is you discover you true power and your true self. You can and will. I hope you will stay with it and make it a life long habit. If you do you will discover things you never realized possible. Happy journey. Have fun. Be thankful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Stop Missing Out And Get What You Deserve

“How do you create the career, the lifestyle, the leisure, the love, the happiness, the wealth you want? What must you do to attract it and make it happen. What part do you play? You play every part. The future is your future. You make it happen. You can as you do this.

Live it in advance. Go into the future, decide what you want it to be like, and imagine it as if you already are living it. You want to be healthy, imagine being completely healthy now. You are fit, full of energy, your ideal weight. You are able to enjoy it this moment.

See it, hear it, feel it!  Experience it! How happy and delighted are you to have it right now? You wanted it and it is yours. Imagine it as vividly as possible!  Move like it is true and it is your reality. Sit like it. Act like it. Speak like it. Notice everything you can. Be it right now.

To Enjoy Enduring Success – Travel In Advance Of The World

Create the inner reality where this is true. If you want wealth how much did you get? Where do you live? Who are your friends? What do you drive? What do you where? What do you do now that you are wealthy? Be as detailed or specific as possible. Explore and discover.

After all it is your dream. Create it as rich and nuanced as you are able. Enjoy it. Feel how marvelous it is. If anything doesn’t feel right correct it, adjust it until it does. Believe it. If you don’t, adjust it until you do. You are a creator. You have the right to imagine anything.

I suggest you make everyone around you win. Don’t foster discord or dislike. This isn’t for revenge. Instead, if you need to, imagine forgiveness. and Cooperation. Create peace and harmony. Manifest love and light. This is your future. Make it everything you want.

Luck Is The Crossroads Where Opportunity And Preparation Meet

Do it. It is your imagination. Why not? If you answer why not examine what holds you back, why that is, who it comes from and whether you want to keep that thought or not. If not, change it. Affirm a new one. Affirm this new reality. Let go and live fully!

Create your future vividly while leaving room to be pleasantly surprised as it unfolds in actuality. Affirm and re-affirm what you want by staying focused on what you want and off of what you prefer to exclude. Do you understand this? It is important.

If you don’t want something create what you DO want instead or in its place. Don’t be stingy with yourself. Be lavish. Have fun and enjoy it. Be thankful. Everything first originates as an idea then it becomes reality. It doesn’t magically appear but you make it happen. You do it!

The Best Way To Predict The Future Is To Create It

You keep filling your brain with what you want and how it feels until your brain gets it. As you brain does it assembles your resources and scans inside and out for matches in experience and people who can assist you. It looks for opportunities. YOU still have to take them.

You still create and attract and make it all work together. You will have highs and lows, easy times and challenges but through it all if you maintain your vision you can accomplish it. Napoleon Hill said, ‘If you can conceive it and believe it you can achieve it’. This is true.

It takes time. It isn’t instant. Perhaps, it could be. Don’t rule anything out. Still, it takes time to organize your thoughts and behaviors and align these and become congruent. It takes time to assemble your resources and find opportunity. It all takes time. Never give up.

You Get What You Focus On – What You Focus On Expands

Stick with it. Baking a cake takes time. You get your ingredients together by shopping. You go to where you can put them together correctly in order and place in an oven. You set the temperature and the timer  and wait. When done, wait while it cools. Then enjoy.

You can hate and moan through the entire process OR you can be eager and excited and delighted knowing you are going to have delicious cake. You can be so eager you can almost taste it prior to making it. THAT is the feeling and way you want to live right NOW.

Live inside your future. Create your desires as fulfilled. Enjoy living in that reality. Spend at least a couple minutes of the day imagining and feeling that. Journal what it is like to have what you want. Keep visual reminders, pictures, Vision Board, slogans. Affirm. Believe!

What You Think About You Bring About – See It Speak It Have It

As you move through the day secretly imagine or pretend that is your reality right now. What does a healthy or wealthy person eat, do, think, and say? How does a healthy or wealthy person drive or place an order for an item? How does this person act each moment.

Live it. Feel it. Speak it. Affirm it. See it. Embrace, allow and accept it. Be thankful for it. Be truly grateful for everything you had, have and will have. Practice authentic appreciation. Love. Give and help others. Laugh and delight. It will happen more quickly as you do these things and become these things. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
