If You Would Be Loved

“Benjamin Franklin wrote, ‘If you would be loved, love and be lovable.’ These are pretty profound words. These words exemplify the concept of ‘Go First!’ If you want love, be loving first. If you want kindness, be kind first. If you want peace, be peaceful first. Get it?

It should go without saying, this is the ancient principle of Cause and Effect. It is the principle of Reciprocity. It is the principle of The Law of Attraction. If you want something, be it first. The mirror reflects back a smiling person. Birds of a feather flock together. Get it?

If you want attention, give your attention first. If you want to be heard, listen well first. If you want abundance, feel abundance and give first. Stop expecting the other to go first. YOU go first. You get back what you put out. The world loves a cheerful giver. Get it?

Celebrate all. Consider everyone and every circumstance a blessing. Decide how you want it. If you want to be loved, love and be lovable.  Live intentionally, not haphazardly. Create your love, peace, happiness, and good fortune. Go first. Be the change you want to see in the world. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
