Why You Need A Better Sense Of Humor

“You will enjoy life so much more whenever you can stop taking yourself so seriously.  Learn to laugh at yourself. Learn to forgive yourself. Learn to let go of all the seriousness and the drama. Live more as a young, unburdened child would. Live and play.

A sense of humor is something we can all use more of! The great news is it can be developed. Just as you can acquire any habit you wish to, so you can acquire a marvelous and transformative sense of humor. Learn to live carefree and you are free. It is all mindset.

From within to without. As above so below. Focus on that which transforms you. Learn to live with ease and grace. Everything takes care of itself. It doesn’t mean you stop doing things, it means you transform, so how you do things is qualitatively different.

Live – Love – Learn – Laugh – Delight – Celebrate Everything

There are two ways of meeting difficulty in this world. One is to attempt to change the difficulty. The other is to change yourself. When you transform everything transforms. Even if the difficulty were to remain it would all be different because you are!

So live and laugh and love more. Then the world becomes a much different place! Learn to design your mind and create your best life ever. Learn to create the present and future you want and deserve. Eradicate being overly serious about anything. Learn to laugh at the world.  Learn to laugh at what you call your problems, and yourself! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Need To Eliminate Inner And Outer Clutter

“You know how sometimes your desk or room gets messy. Perhaps, it is the kitchen that is in disarray. Heck, it could be the whole damn house that needs a do-over. A cleaning and an organizing are in order. Have you ever faced this? Your mind needs decluttering too.

Eliminate mental clutter. Go ahead. Keep it simple. Release and let go of anything that isn’t supportive of the kind of person you want and intend to be. Drop it. Have you ever dropped anything you were carrying. It just dropped away. Drop the negativity and the rest.

Anything not supportive, anything that doesn’t serve you accomplishing your purpose and fulfilling yourself, release. You can use affirmations to affirm the new you. Chant these with positive, strong emotion. Journal, write out what you want to release.

You Can’t Hate Yourself Happy – You Can’t Criticize Yourself Thin

When finished tear it out and safely burn it up. Talk it out, out loud. Write out what you want to let go of and burn it. Write out what you want instead and keep it. Affirm it. Read it out loud three or more times a day. Clean out and clear negativity from your brain space.

If you clean your house, room or office every once in awhile, even rarely, then you want to be sure to clear and clean your inner space too, every now and then. Whatever you release ,replace with the positive opposite. Affirm what you want. Don’t leave a vacuum.

Free up your energy to serve you better. Allow yourself to create flow and high vibrations. Feel wonderful instead of drained. Move your body. Get out and about. Focus on feeling magnificent. End the distractions and the frustrations and release it all. Really, do it!

Real Change Begins With Self-Love and Self-Care

Get outside. Refresh and renew in nature. Walk, enjoy your surroundings. Breathe and enjoy. Take time to relax. Delight in the simple things you find. Notice how good fresh air is and how wonderful the earth on your feet feels. Enjoy and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How The Mind Helps Heal The Body

Here is a method for increasing our health and well being. We only have one mind and one body this go around,  at least, as far as we know. It makes sense to make the best use of our mind and body and to take as good care of it as possible. Imagine feeling better.

While mindfulness is a brand, the practice of meditation is of immense value. The benefits of meditation and positive thinking are worth making these a daily habit. Both of these have been shown to help us to live healthier in both mind and body. We get good results.

I enjoy sharing articles with you that can help you transform your life or at the very least help you gain a better understanding of topics and the need to create healthy daily routines and habits. Engaging in positive daily rituals will help you in many positive ways. Try it on!

Perception Is Everything – Change How And What You Perceive

The sub-header says it all, ‘How mental and physical health is affected by the way we perceive and relate to it’. Our mindset determines our mindset and our physical well-being. We cannot escape the affect of our thoughts and perceptions.

It is cyclic too. Our health affects our thoughts. When you feel on top of the world you think better and clearer. Mind and body are part of the same cybernetic system. The are one, in reality, but we tend to divide them. We use mind and body to navigate the world.

A healthy mind and healthy body is obviously optimal. This is why it is important seek to improve both as best we are able. It does begin with our thinking. Maintaining a positive attitude is one of the best things you can do for yourself. So is maintaining a healthy body.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

Meditation is a practice that can help you do both. If you don’t or haven’t I suggest you give it a go. As with anything it takes time to master. Patience and persistence is required. Take it lightly and enjoy it. Practice gratitude too. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
