You Need A Positive Morning Ritual

“It is a wonderful practice to begin your day with an early morning meditation session. Upon awakening, before you are too awake, while still in the alpha state, it is easier to meditate. You are already relaxed, so it is the perfect time to spend time meditating.

A great beginning to the day starts while still in bed thinking and affirming, ‘I love my life.’ Reflect on what you are grateful for and aim on having an incredible day. Visualize your goals, look at your vision board or book, read some inspirational material and meditate.

Take time for yourself. Create a daily positive routine you engage in before doing anything else. Don’t check your phone or text or emails. Keep your mind focused on the positive and the optimistic. Think happy, serene, powerful thoughts that support you. Smile and laugh.

You Are And You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You 

Consider making this positive morning routine a habit as you would to build muscle. Condition yourself. Give yourself some positive nutrition prior to going to work, school or elsewhere. Make it a priority. Set yourself and your attitude right from the get go.

Delight. Spend 20, 30 or more minutes nurturing yourself. The benefits are incredible once you do it. Raise your consciousness. Raise your vibration! Feel incredible. Start the day with a positive charge. Discover your blessings. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Learn How To Put Your Success And Happiness On Automatic!

“If you feel like you need more time or money, you’d be better served if you stay focused on what you love, enjoy and can do, than the shortage you experience. Keeping your mind tuned to the positive and creating positive feelings is far more productive. Uplift yourself.

Focusing on what you need, and don’t have, only makes one feel worse and spiral down. You don’t want to do that. Stop thinking about lack. Start thinking, and keep thinking, about what you enjoy, and what you can enjoy. Stay focused. Stay grateful. Stay focused.

It may not make sense to you, if you aren’t yet ready to hear this, but remaining positive in the face of difficulty, IS your best option. It is the best plan, and the best choice, you can make. Whenever you find yourself thinking otherwise, shift back to the positive.

What You Focus On Is What You Get 

Many things are accomplished when you do this but I will simply site two. Your awareness increases. You recognize when you are thinking and feeling less than glorious and you do something to change it. You are claiming your power and making things happen.

It first must begin within you. You get your power back and you become aware of how and when you use it, or when you don’t. You become the captain of your own ship. You are in charge. You set the course and navigate it. Get it? You become more awesome!

When you are more awesome you begin seeing, and finding, other incredible opportunities around you. Your outlook changes and your life, and experience, begins to transform. You will only notice how absolutely mind-blowing it is, after you make these changes.

Are You Planning To Fail?

“Ben Franklin said’ If you fail to plan you are planning to fail.’ You may have a big dream or goal, you may have just set an intention and you don’t know what your next step is. You don’t know how you will accomplish what you desire. Make a plan. Plan your success today!

It really doesn’t matter that you don’t know how. How will come along the way. Thomas Edison didn’t know how to make a light bulb work until he made one. Until then, he kept experimenting and adjusting. Once he got it right, he knew what to do. So will you.

Napoleon Hill has said your plan will change many times along the way. When traveling you may encounter roadblocks and detours. You adjust to those, but you keep heading in your desired direction. So create a plan. Know that it will change. Consider it a first draft.

You Can’t Manage Time But You Can Manage Your Priorities

You can’t hit a target if you don’t have one. You wouldn’t even know where to aim. So plan to make your big dream come true. Focus on the first step. Perhaps, you want to sell 100K, 500K a million a year, plan how you will do that. What will you do today, tomorrow?

What will you do next week? Plan next month and each month. Take baby steps. Single steps. Determine to speak to one extra customer a week. Make it easy to win. That is 52 new contacts in a year. Plan to speak with a couple a week, or every day speak to one new person.

Just keep it simple enough that you do it consistently. That way you win. You keep your commitment to yourself and you move forward. Don’t concern yourself whether they buy or not. As you get better you will connect with the right people. Just make contact. Tell them.

Drop By Drop The Tub Fills – Step By Step You Get There

If they don’t hear it from you they can’t buy it from you. If you spoke with one new person each business day that is 260 new contacts a year. If only a couple bought you’d still be better off than if you do nothing. Get it? Plan to succeed. Work your plan and you will.

If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail. Whatever you want to be, do or have you can, when you get smart and work wise. Manage your mindset and feelings. Set intentions and make plans. Keep your word and do what you say. Stay positive and optimistic. Invest in yourself and your education. You will turn yourself into a champion! Be grateful and celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes

You Can Pretend Anything And Master It

“‘If you take intellectual knowledge that you learn as a philosophy, and then initiate that knowledge into your life by applying it enough times until you master it, you ultimately move from being a philosopher to an initiate to a master.’ Dr. Joe Dispenza.

He states there is ‘sound scientific evidence that this is possible.’ I love Joe’s work and if you are not familiar with it you should be. Do a search. It’s worthwhile. The famous hypnotherapist, Milton Erickson was fond of saying, ‘You can pretend anything and master it.’

So what is this mastery these fine gentleman speak of? It is applying what you know until it is automatic and reliable. You don’t have to think about it. It is YOU! It is natural for you. You have wired it in and it has become a habit. Habits operate unconsciously.

The More You Do The More You Can Do

Use the information you are gathering to transform yourself by applying it. Without application, you benefit little from the information itself. Knowledge doesn’t change people, but applied knowledge can. To know and not to do, is to not know at all.

Skill or mastery comes from spaced repetition of correct practice, consistently, for a long enough duration of time, to become habit. Habit makes it second nature, reliable and automatic. You can master anything given dedication, correct practice and repetition.

If you meditate daily or visualize you will get better and better. If you affirm or direct your mind with questions you will get better at it. When you think positive in the face of difficulty you will improve. The same is true of swimming, skiing, juggling, playing piano. Get it?

What We Ultimately Do With Ease We First Do With Difficulty

What you practice you get better at it. Without practice you won’t. So practice your attitude and gratefulness. Build success habits and you will become more successful. Build happiness habits. Most people habitually live ho-hum, so-so lives of worry and frustration.

You don’t have to. You can change and transform yourself. You can learn to create your best life ever. Practice gratitude. Practice being delighted. Practice having fun. If you don’t feel it at first, pretend you do and you will master that. Get it? Do it! Practice and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Why Shifting Is So Important!

“When you focus on problems or the distance between where you are and where you want to be you loose energy. You loose steam. You vibrate low or you feel low.  When you concentrate on lack of money, health, love or anything your system is stressed and low.

Your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual energy wanes when you are focused on problems and not having what you want. That is why you need to shift from focusing on less than glorious circumstances to what you want to create instead.

Stop focusing on how far you have to go and focus on winning the race. Imagine the race already won and all the accolades and awards and cheering and celebration. Get your spirits and your energy up. When you vibrate high, you are happier and more productive.

Positive Energy Heals – Everything Is Energy – Focus On Positive

The act of shifting from the negative to the positive is the basis of forming a new positive habit. When you are aware of feeling less than gloriously, and you consciously decide to change it, it is a good thing. You are developing the habit of shifting your attention.

You deliberately shift your focus and your energy. You develop the habit by repeating this, each time, as necessary. Soon, it becomes automatic. Soon, fewer and fewer things bother you or pull you down. You move from Donnie Downer to Upbeat Uma. Get it?

You will develop a new pattern of thought. You will raise your feeling point, you vibrational point, and that will cause you to create and attract the kind of people, circumstances and things, you like and want more of in your life. Remember, you attract who you are!

Be The Energy You Want To Attract – Be It Now – It Is Up To You

This is why the shift is so important. This is why being grateful is so important. The more pleased and happier you are with the present, whatever this present moment is, the more happiness you get in return. You generate it. That is why it is important to train your mind to see the good in any, and all, situations and focus on the positive. To be able to do that more easily, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Some Useful Secrets To Powerful Transformative Affirmations

“People ask me what affirmations are good to use. They ask me what I use. The most powerful are, anything that follows ‘I am’ in present tense. Such as, ‘I am confident. I am loving. I am rich. I am intelligent. I am healthy.’ Phrase it as if it is currently the case. You’re it, right now.

It is simple! Most important are the feelings you say the affirmations with. Even more important than the words are the emotions behind the words. So say them with conviction, passion, enthusiasm, confidence and joy. That is what is truly important. I promise you!

If you feel nagging doubt when you say the affirmation there are two things you should know. One, you may be comparing where you are to where you want to be, and notice the difference, and  feel less than glorious. Stop that! Focus on what you want, as if it is reality.

Whatever You Focus On – Talk – Read -Think About – You Create

Two, anytime you seek to make a change your brain, attempting to keep you safe and the same, will throw doubt, worry, fear, limiting beliefs and negative thoughts at you, to attempt to keep you from changing. It is why most people abandon the pursuit. Stop it.

Don’t let a thought prevent you from doing something good and positive for yourself and others. Stop listening. Put your attention elsewhere. Say, ‘thanks for sharing  but I go this covered. I’m going to go ahead and be rich, health, intelligent and loving anyway. Thanks!’

Don’t fight it. Work with it. Accept it and divert it. Use the phrase I just gave you. Take a break. Go for a walk. Take some deep breaths. Jump up and down. Interrupt the pattern when it fires off by doing something else. Anything else! Just be safe about it. It works.

When You Affirm You Imagine – If You Imagine – You Can Create 

If it just won’t seem to go away, and IF you repeat your affirmation with conviction consistently, EVERY day, IT WILL. But, in the event you can’t see your way through it, and make the changes for yourself, you can always ask a question or place yourself in a learning process.

You can say, ‘I wonder how soon before I feel really healthy. I wonder how soon before I realize how truly rich I am. How quickly can I discover it is easy to feel confident.’ This is an aspect of using my Directed Questions™ approach. Another aspect of it, is this.

‘I am in the process of getting really, really healthy. I am learning how to appreciate how rich I am. I am in the process of learning to be delightfully confident in the appropriate situations’ Get it. You direct your mind gently without setting up any conflict. You’re in process.

If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me – Accept Responsibility And Do It

Of course, the wise person will realize you can do both and blend them. So I hope you will. What follows are a few of the affirmations I use morning, before bed and throughout the day. You can  use affirmations from others, but it is best if you create your own.

‘I love my life. I am blessed. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Everything always works out for the best for me. Unexpected good always comes my way. I don’t know how, but everything always works out and I am grateful. Thank you. Thank you Thank you!’

Well, there you have some tips and some affirmations. Put it into daily regular use and you will transform your life and experience. Do nothing with it, and nothing much may change. It is the application of knowledge that is transformative, not the knowledge, itself. Get it? Do it! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Success And Happiness Is Determined By How You Think!

“In recent blogs, I taught and I encouraged you to ask, ‘does this support me? Is this supportive or non-supportive?’ A very important consideration. Something either supports and uplifts you, or it does not. I snuck in another question, too. Perhaps, you noticed it.

If something is not supportive, ‘what can I change; what thought, feeling or behavior?’ If you discover your thoughts aren’t supporting you, then you should, you must change them, to supportive ones that help get you the results you want. Awareness, then shifting, is key!

If you do something that makes you feel bad, you want to change it to something that makes you feel good. Realize, you should have a conscience too. You ought to do what is best for you and everyone involved. I am never suggesting you do anything to harm anyone.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

That includes you and others. Be sensitive and be good to all. Another consideration, prior to getting into the next question I share, is this question? Is it positive or negative? If something is negative and doesn’t support you, change it? Focus on the positive.

You get what you focus on. You want a better life? You don’t get one by focusing on negativity, what is wrong or lacking. You make your life better by focusing on those positive thoughts, feelings and actions you can take, to get you positive and better results. Get it?

The point of these questions I am sharing, is to bring your awareness to the moment. Is what is going positive or negative? Does it support you or not? What change can you make to your thinking, feeling or behaving that will shift it from negative to positive and supportive?

Change Your Mindset And You Change Your Life – Be Positive

More next time. For now keep focused and keep asking. Stay tuned to what you are grateful for. This combination of gratitude and positivity, with questions that direct  you into being and feeling supportive, is unstoppable. Make it your new habit. Master it. It is amazing.
