How To Change It When Everything Sucks!

“You want to make your career, your finances, your relationships, and overall life much better, right? You’d like to think and feel better more of the time, too, I bet. Is there any thing you can do, overall, that will make everything better, easier, smoother and more fun?

Yes. Overall, you can do one thing that will make all the difference in the world for you. First, understand that you must learn to MANAGE your thinking. You must take control of your thoughts. You must realize ‘thinking’ is something you do, but IT isn’t, actually, YOU.

Your thoughts are not you. YOU think thoughts. Mostly, you think conditioned, chronic, repetitive thoughts you’ve always thought, with some new ones thrown in. You may feel that isn’t quite accurate, but if you really look into it, you’ll notice, it is. Get it?

Life Isn’t What Happens To You – Life Is What You Create

Awareness is the key to change. If you aren’t aware you need to make a change, you won’t. If you sleep through a fire, the results of the fire are the same, whether you know it or not. Get it? You must become aware and make some changes. So, which change to make?

Make it a point to feel no matter what! DO whatever it takes, in a positive fashion, that is GOOD for you and others, that helps you feel good. Walk, exercise, sing, dance, get a massage. Get outdoors, spend time in nature. Go barefoot, connect with the earth. Anything!

Practice gratitude! Keep a journal. Be really thankful for small and large things; the people in your life; ALL of life lessons and circumstances; your current, ongoing situation. EVERYTHING! Take inventory and FEEL BLESSED! Jump up and down with joy. Do it!

Because You Smile And Laugh You Can Make All Of Life Beautiful

When you FEEL GOOD and vibrate high energy, everything else falls into place! If you can feel good, in spite of whatever may be the current situation, you’ll become the master of your circumstances. You won’t be a tiny boat tossed about by the wind and the sea.

When YOU are the master YOU make the difference in your situations, instead of them running you. You need to take charge and be in charge. You never will, doing things the same old way. You must CHANGE what you do. Read positive material. Get and stay inspired.

Manage your thoughts and you feel better and think better! Manage your feelings and you FEEL BETTER and think better! Good feelings promote well being and you get more of it. You get better and better as you go. Find the tiniest thing to feel good about and do it.

Take Charge Of Yourself – Decide To Make The Day Marvelous

Feel good about it. Accentuate it. FOCUS on it. Make it bigger and better. AMPLIFY it. Do those things that are fun, good for you, and you enjoy! Make all of your life a celebration. That change in attitude will make all the difference. Hang out with positive people! BEGIN!

Begin somewhere. Begin, even when you don’t feel like it. If you wait until you do, you will never start. You always must begin right where you are! It starts with a decision. You either DECIDE TO, or you are deciding not to. It is always, all up to you, whether you do or don’t.

Take hold of your good feelings and enhance them.  Make tiny things bigger. Most of us make mole hill problems into mountains, so reverse it. Make tiny mole hill blessings into mountains of blessing. When you do, everything does CHANGE. If you don’t, nothing does.

Mastery Is  A Process – It Takes As Much Time As It Takes – Enjoy

Sometimes, things change instantly.  Mostly, things change in time as you gain mastery of the process. Things change as you EVOLVE YOURSELF into a positive, powerful, confident person. Get it? This is why I encourage, and implore you to CELEBRATE EVERYTHING!” Rex Sikes

You Are Missing Out Big Time If You Don’t Do This

“What might be the most important thing you can do? Things are as they are. Perhaps, circumstances could be better. What do you make of all of it? Should you accept things as they are or do you try to change them? Why or why not? What can you do?

With all this talk about positive change and transformation never forget to love and appreciate yourself. You are exactly who you are and who you are meant to be in this moment. Celebrate yourself. Everything you have ever done has brought you to this moment.

You can love yourself and be grateful even while seeking to improve. It simply means you approve of you. You accept and love yourself, unconditionally.  Let go of past regret, hurt, disappointment and celebrate yourself. All the past is part of you. You, are this moment.

You Owe It To Yourself – To Love – Approve And Accept Yourself

How you’ve been blocked or caught up in the past, IS part of your journey. If you’ve decided to let it go, over come it and move forward, that too, is part of your journey. It’s ALL good. Celebrate all of it. Everything IS a blessing. Drop all criticism and judgement.

Don’t judge others. Don’t condemn yourself. Learn to be free. Soar like the eagles. Everything that happens on your path happens for a reason. It is there to learn from AND to serve you. LET IT serve you AND LEARN from it! Cherish who you are AND keep evolving.

Evolution is natural. To desire to be you best, is natural. To change and excel, is natural. ALLOW IT. Support it. Stop supporting blockages, less than glorious thoughts, feelings and limitations, and promote positive, powerful changes. Take it step by step. Enjoy you! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Stop Robbing Yourself Of Your Time And Energy!

“Are you ever tired and exhausted? Do you ever get fed up? Are there times when you just can’t stand things as they are? Do you wish things were different? Have you ever lost it? There is one habit that contributes to all this. Stopping it will help you out immensely.

If you regularly read my blog, you know that I am a huge proponent of those things that amplify and focus your positive energy. Energy flows where your attention goes. What you focus on is what you get. We can always use more wonderful, positive feelings. Am I right?

There are things that deplete our energy and hasten the spiral down into negativity. Some of it you know, from reading here, that how you spend your time on social media is important. It can be a waste. It can be detrimental to you. Frequently, it is less than glorious.

Awareness Is The Key To Change – Become Aware And Change

Some people post, and get caught up in, fighting over topics. They block friends, and would be friends, for having different points of views. It can get quite nasty. They waste time reading and viewing all manner of bad news. There are far better ways to use your time.

Instead of positivity, they fill their mind with negativity. If you get what you focus on, spend time on, expose yourself repeatedly to, then what on earth would you expect the return to be, Bliss? Yes, I know some people thrive on BS and creating problems for others.

Some like to instigate because it makes them feel important. It is at a cost to them and others. You can’t get your time back. If you aren’t creating what you want, right now, and for the future, you are losing that opportunity. You might want to re-consider what’s important.

If You Want Things To Change – You Must Change Some Things

Edward Everette Hale said, ‘Make it your habit not to be critical about small things.’ Lot’s of times it is those tiny, petty, incidents and things that happen throughout the day that rob us of our energy. Placing time on these, instead of letting them go, costs us.

Notice and let go, rather than notice and engage. Let less than glorious happenings of all sizes flow away like water off a duck’s back. Stop! Let go. If you entertain them you will get hooked into them. That will further deplete valuable energy and valuable time.

You won’t get your time back! That is for certain. You will have created more negative vibes and feelings. You may have created, or furthered, a negative situation for, or with, someone else. You may have escalated it. Stop the insanity. Learn to get control. Change it!

Doing The Same Thing But Expecting Different Results Is Insanity

Worse, is the event happens only once! How many times you replay it in your head, AND for others, destroys more of your time and energy! Buddha said, anger and negativity toward someone else is like drinking poison but expecting it to harm others. It harms you!

If you don’t stop, or change what you are doing, nothing will change. Where you put your focus, what you attend to daily, routinely, what you get caught up in, is governed by your habits. You have habits of attention and focus. You have preferences in what you attend to.

Instead, let it go. Find and focus on the positive no matter how small. Stay tuned to the good things. Determine to feel good regardless. Do whatever positive things you need to in order to maintain good feelings. Walk it off. Access your resourcefulness. Smile. Laugh!

Develop The Positive Habits That Support You – Let The Old Go

Take a break. Create a break state, a pause. Breathe! Sing, dance, hop or skip. Go jump up and down. Shout your affirmations. Declare your positive power. Simply, don’t get caught up in a cycle that will spiral you down. Learn to maintain the good; de-escalate the bad.

Little things add up. Negative little things add up. So do positive things? Determine how you want to live and how you want to spend the bulk of your time. Do you want to feel negative most often, or positive? It is completely up to you. Feel good. Make it your mission.

Learn that you CAN change your habits. You won’t eliminate the old ones but you will replace them. Develop new, positive, habits! How? By doing the new behaviors, repeatedly, long enough, consistently that the new behaviors become automatic. That is how.

If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me – Dedicate Yourself For Your Own Good

You have to dedicate yourself to thinking, feeling and being a new way. You begin small and do it step by step. Whenever you become aware you got caught up in a less than glorious moment, shift to a positive thought, feeling and behavior. You will get the hang of it.

Practice gratitude. Make gratitude, for anything and all things, a habit. Spend time noticing what you appreciate and what you are grateful for. It will absolutely help. Consider all events, people and situations a blessing and you will transform. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Can’t Get There If You Don’t Know Your Destination!

“You can’t get there if you haven’t set and don’t know your destination. The reason most people don’t accomplish their goals and dreams is because they want to be comfortable. They don’t want to stretch outside their comfort zone. They THINK it is too hard.

Continued from previous blog: People think it takes too much. Their limiting thoughts and beliefs, their excuses, whines and blames keep people the same. If this is you you need to change it up. Nothing will change until you change. The good news is YOU CAN CHANGE!

Yes, it takes some effort. You can’t do nothing and expect it to be different, but, even a small shift, a 1% change over time, can make an incredible difference. All you have to do is open that tiny window of possibility for change and you can. You decide to be different.

Every Day Is An Opportunity To Change Your Life For The Better

Read books. Read inspirational material that is motivational. Feed your mind a positive, healthy, mental diet each day. Walk outside and move your body. Spend some time in nature. Pick some positive affirmations and recite them frequently, with strong positive feeling.

Practice gratitude. Feel blessed. Smile more. Laugh. Even these small changes will make a big difference. Don’t bite off more than you can chew, but realize the more you do, the more you become able to do. Success breeds success and confidence. You can do it. YOU CAN! Learn to celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

It Is Imperative You Do This Often!

“There is something important you can do that will make an incredible difference for you in your life, your relationships, your career. It can impact all aspects of your life in positive ways. It is imperative you do this frequently.  What is it you can you do today?

Let go. Live it up. Have some fun. Be safe, but have some quality fun time. I mean, do it, really. People often get so caught up in making things happen they forget to enjoy themselves right now. Don’t be one of those, instead, take some time and smell the roses, deeply.

The more fun and enjoyment you have the better a creator and attracter you are. You get back what you put out. When you feel good you vibrate high. Feelings are vibrations. Remember, you attract who you are not what you want. Be a fun, life loving, person.

The Universe Doesn’t Speak English It Speaks Vibration

Allow yourself to enjoy each moment. You will feel better, think better, and be better. You will make more enjoyable things happen because you are enjoying things. Get it? Do it. Have fun. Feel blessed. Actually, count and journal your blessings. Celebrate everything!”

Stop Being A Victim Of Circumstances Be The Master Of Circumstances

“You are stuck in traffic and you are fuming. You have an important appointment. You aren’t moving. You won’t get there. What do you do? Do you feel the heat? Are you frustrated? Is the anger growing? What are you saying to yourself, the traffic and the universe?

Most likely you aren’t speaking in a nice, calm, voice? Are you thinking of everything that is wrong as a result? How you will be late. Are you getting anxious? Are you worried?  It is probable, things are churning on the inside. All sorts of ‘bad’ scenarios play over and over.

Whose fault is this traffic jam? Whose fault is it that you are stuck? You should have left earlier or taken another route? Why did this have to happen today of all days? More than once you probably let out an f-bomb. Right? Okay. Okay, maybe this isn’t you in traffic.

The Most Effective Way To Do It – Is To Do It – Just Do It – Do It

Maybe, this is you in a different, ‘less than positive’ circumstance. The point is, it IS what it IS? Your reaction is what matters. The reaction is habituated. The reaction is automatic and reliable and from your old, negative, chronic conditioning. Get control of it.

You will change when you change your habits. Everything in your life can change when you take charge. You will change when you decide to respond differently, instead of reacting automatically less than positively. Yes, you must make a deliberate, conscious decision.

You must claim the control of what is going on between your ears and in your body. Take charge and master your thoughts and feelings. If you want your life to change for the better you will have to change the negative things you routinely and automatically do.

If You Can’t Beat Fear – Do It Scared – Just Do It – Just Do It – Do It

Regardless of the scenario, you might as well, sit back and relax until it begins moving again. What else is there to do? Surrender. Breath. Look around outside yourself. ‘Cool you jets’, they used to say. Meditate. Listen to calming music or inspirational audio. Let it all go.

You can’t push the river. Allow it to run its course. What is the worst that could happen? Even if the worst happens, in the long run, it could be the best thing ever. It could be. People look back later and connect the dots. Most worst cases, though, never, ever, happen!

Settle down. Get control. Walk it off, if you can. It is what it is. Put an end to the drama. Stop reliving all the bad things in your mind. Focus on the one, very tiny, thing that is good. Look for it. IT is there. It really is. Nothing is completely bad. Find it. Seek and you will find.

If You Can Dream You Can Do It – Just Do It – Do It – Just Do It

You don’t know what you don’t know. Everything will be okay, eventually, no matter what happens today. Shift your thoughts from racing, raging negative to the positive and optimistic. This is what you must do if you want to change, otherwise you remain the same.

If you always do what you always do you will always get what you always get. SO change it and get something different! Make it better for yourself by learning and applying a new way. It gets easier the more you do it. The more you shift, the better you get at it.

Do it enough, over time and you replace the bad habit with a positive, one that supports you. Stop being a victim of circumstances. Be a master of circumstances. Stop being in a hurry. Relax. Stop blaming and complaining. Let it go. Gain control.

If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me – You Get What You Focus On – Do It

Switch. Shift. Take charge and make it a point to feel the best you can. You might not be able to go from furious to bliss, but you can first settle down. Cool off. Get calm. From there you can inch your way toward bliss. Little by little. Make your way towards bliss.

Next blog I will share a powerful secret about rage. You will want to read and apply those principles, too. Meanwhile, make a decision to be different.  Don’t let old habits of thought and behavior rule you. You rule your thoughts and feelings and behaviors, instead.

Consider the picture that accompanies this post. People do wonder at times. That roll didn’t make itself. Someone took charge and did it. Take charge of your own life and make it what you want it to be. Only you can do that. You are 100% responsible. Accept responsibility.

Yesterday You Said Tomorrow – Repeat After Me – I Can Do This

When you do accept it, everything can change for the better. Own up to. BE the victor. Only you can. So, will you make the change? It is up to you. Change happens the instant you decide. Even if you can’t yet see it. There is great power in a congruent decision.

Decide to delight in all things. Feel grateful. Say, ‘thank you’, frequently. Look for the good in every moment. Seek, scan, and find. Shift from the negative to the positive. Do it! Keep doing it.  When you feel blessed no matter what you open the door for all manner of good things. Like attracts like. SO celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Secret To Experiencing True Abundance

“What is true abundance? Is it just piles of cash and free time? Does it mean you have all the things you want? How come some people are very rich, but greedy? They don’t seem to be coming from abundance or even seem very nice. What is it to be truly abundant?

True abundance is the ability, the ability, to know that you are fine. Everything is okay. You love your life.  You have more than enough to live your desired lifestyle. You know and are certain that if it all disappeared, and you lost everything, you would create more.

You are comfortable with your ability to create. You know that you can attract whatever you need. You are the source of your abundance and power.  You are confident in you ability to create. You know you have this ability. Everything will be fine. It always is.

True Abundance Is Not Something We Acquire It is What We Are

You are confident in yourself so you experience life as magical every moment. You understand life is not about money but about the experience you have. It is all about love and  joy. True abundance is about loving relationships, friends and helping each other.

You can be happy.  You don’t have  money worries because you’re bigger than any obstacle . You triumph over circumstances. You can create. You can manifest. If you lost everything you know that you created before and you’ll do it again. All is good! ALL is good!

You CAN experience true abundance. YOU can begin to feel more abundant even now, if you don’t already. Stop focusing on lack. Focus on what you do have.  Focus on feeling fulfilled. Concentrate on those things that are true wealth; family, friends, and  time to enjoy.

Gratitude Opens The Door To Abundance – Appreciate – Be Glad

Abundance isn’t about what you have, it is about who you are. It is your ability to celebrate and enjoy no matter what is going on. It is the conviction that, ‘at the worst’ you are, and will be, fine. How do you get there? Practice gratitude! Allow yourself to feel blessed.

Count your blessings daily. Don’t focus on outer circumstances. Focus on your ability to create. Manifest small things daily. Practice manifesting and creating. Set intentions and make them happen. You don’t wait or wish when you create, you take charge.

I’ll share more next time. Meanwhile, do little things, that allow you to feel better; feel marvelous. Treat yourself!  Enjoy small things. Savor family and friends and free time. Have a meal. Decide what you want because you want it, not because of the cost.

Abundance Is The Ability To Create And The Ability To Allow

Look at the menu without looking at the prices. Enjoy something without money being a concern. Treat yourself to small gifts. Gifts you purchase or make. Hang out someplace you enjoy. The beach, a favorite hotel lobby, anywhere you feel awesome. Allow yourself to feel good. Feel abundance. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
