Stay Focused Stop Drifting

“The tendency in humans is for distraction. Drifting is what Napoleon Hill called it. People live and act without intention or purpose. Most don’t clarify what they want and pursue it. Instead of being a driving force they are driven, as if, by the wind. STOP that.

Clarify. Get clear about what you want. Not just overall, but moment to moment. Live with purpose. Live from vision. Live with intention.  Focus and remain focused. Opportunities that lead the way to that which you are focused on don’t diffuse. Stop that. Stay Focused.

Once you are clear and focused, eliminate that which doesn’t contribute to getting what you want. Concentrate on what you want. Take each step that gets you closer. Avoid things that lead you elsewhere. Stay on target. You will get there. As ships do, when aiming at the lighthouse beam, you will get there. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How Powerful Are You? Are You This Powerful?

“Are you making your career, your relationships, yourself and your life what you want it to be, or not? If not, what holds you back? What stops or prevents you from being, doing and having anything and everything you want? Have you ever considered this?

If you have, what are your answers. They’ll reveal much about what you think you’re able to do or not. Your answers will show you where you place control. You’re either in charge, or you’ve placed someone, or something outside yourself, in charge. GUESS WHAT?

If you have put others, or circumstances, in charge of you, and what you accomplish, you will mostly lose out. If you aren’t the captain of your own ship, someone, or something, is taking you for a ride. You may have never claimed your power before, but it is time to do so.

Happiness – It Is All Within Yourself – It Is In Your Way Of Thinking

Henry Ford’s statement, ‘If you think you can or you think you can’t, your right’ is a useful and powerful thought to embrace. If it is to be it is up to you. Your thoughts determine whether you will make it or not. Your mindset determines your chances. It’s all what you think!

You create and build what you want. This is what you must embrace. It is you doing it. You create and build what you want or you are creating and building what you don’t want. Get it? Either way, you are doing it. Don’t believe that, yet? Most likely, that’s the issue!

Instead of reacting and perpetuating what you do not want, it is either up to you, and within your power, to do something and pursue an objective, or you don’t think it is. In either case you are right. The results will be up to what you believe and do. Get it? Up to you!

The More You Do The More You Can Do – Success Breeds Success

Take charge. Get in control and steer the course of your life. You are so powerful, but you don’t even know it, if you haven’t claimed it. Learn to claim it and exercise your power to make marvelous, positive changes in your life.  Take control and make things happen.

Don’t wait.  Don’t expect others or luck to change. Learn to manage your thoughts, feelings and actions and create the best life you can. Study these blog posts and apply what you learn. Why We Should Love The Karate Kid

“Isn’t it amazing. All that wax on wax off. Paint the fence. Everything the Karate Kid was taught and practiced, seemed pointless. He got so frustrated doing these things day in and day out. He got so frustrated he challenged his own Sensei’s wisdom in tasking him.

He burned while doing chores. It made him angry. Everyday the same old thing. He thought, ‘I have made a mistake. This old guy is no Sensei he is just getting free, cheap, labor.’ He called him out on it. To the kid’s surprise he was able to use his practice to defend himself.

All the while he was muttering and complaining, convinced he was learning nothing, he was learning important foundational, basic skills, he needed to master to be able to fight and defend himself. During the process he was developing body memory habits.

First Learn Stand  Then Learn Fly  – Wax On Wax Off

He didn’t realize this until he exploded at the Sensei. Then, to his surprise, he utilized these silly, useless, work tasks, to great satisfaction. He was developing mastery and habits. Once he challenged the Sensei he began to understand and learn more.

He began to learn the mental and spiritual habits that accompanied his martial art form. Get it? We spend time practicing, affirming, visualizing. We seem to have little success and lots of failure. We are talking our way through it and trying to apply it. We get frustrated.

We haven’t yet mastered it, nor made it a habit, an automatic, reliable skill. We are doing the wax on wax off work and we are burning, yet all the while, we are in training. So keep the faith. Know that one day you will master the skills of manifesting. Get it?

When Life Knock You Down The Option In You Get Up Or Give Up

As you stick with it. You will improve. Keep at it. You will get better. You will surprise yourself soon. Mindset is everything. If you believe all of life is a training, instead of thinking you are born into the world, and somehow it is all supposed to work out, then you will benefit.

You will benefit and make things happen sooner when you maintain the right mindset and practices. Everything is a lesson. We can learn from anything and should learn from everything.  So stop burning and start thanking. You are being perfected. You are learning.

Challenges are helping you to master your skills. The same lessons repeat again and again as an opportunity to evolve. You get the chance to correct. Keep the faith. Have fun and enjoy. Be delighted  and consider it all a blessing. Be grateful! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Transform Your Crap Magnet Into Your Opportunity Magnet

“Are you ever concerned, as others are, about bad things or negative events? What should you think, and do, about them? Do you wonder why they happen and how to enjoy better things, events and circumstances? I’d like to help clarify some important concepts.

Bad things are blessings! This may seem difficult to comprehend but you will benefit  greatly, once you are able to embrace this. ‘Bad things’ help you to know what you do want. Whenever ‘bad things or negative thoughts occur you think or say, ‘I DON’T WANT THIS’.

What do you want instead? This moment, is an an opportunity to find, and focus on, what you want, and make what you want, begin to happen. Immediately ask, ‘WHAT DO I WANT?’  Focus on this. Then, instead of hoping, start committing.  Decide to be different!

Speak What You Seek Until You See What You’ve Said – Create

Hope is fine, but wishing and hoping won’t change things. Resolve to make it different. Decide. Commit. Find, what you  want. Clarify it. Specify what you want. Focus on that. Decide to bring it about. Think, ‘I am going to do this, that’s it! I’m going to make this happen!’

Stop being a victim of negativity and circumstances. Resolve that you are bigger than any obstacle. Mindset is important! Fix your mind on the positive good you want! Determine to make it happen. Become invincible. Marshal your positive resources. It’s up to you!

Don’t worry about how you will do it. First, decide to do it. The how will come after you make the decision and begin taking action. You go as far as you can see, and when you get there, you will see farther. Get it? YOU are the force that changes things for the better.

What You Focus On Expands – You Get What You Focus On

If it is going to change for you, YOU are going to make the changes. You are the one who makes the difference. Get this right! You are the positive, powerful, force in your life, or you are not. Which is it? Make the decision to take charge. Set your attitude. It’s everything!

When you focus solidly on what you want, when you know precisely what you want, your subconscious, looks for opportunities, you would otherwise miss, while preoccupied with negative events and thoughts. When you change your mindset, everything changes!

Move forward. Be willing to make good happen. Begin now. Focus on the good. Be grateful for the opportunity. Consider the negative events, not as negative, but as a blessing for you to get clear and make good things happen. Feel the gratitude. Feel the resolve. Feel the energy and flow. When you do EVERYTHING CHANGES! Energy flows where you attention goes. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Do You Sometimes Feel Up Against A Wall?

What do your muscles need to grow? Proper nutrition is important, rest and resistance. Weight training builds muscle. It breaks it down and it grows back bigger. Our mental and our inner heart muscles need the same; proper nutrition, rest and resistance. It’s important!

Strength grows in your moments of challenge. Obstacles are the resistance that cause you to grow. You become stronger, more resilient, confident, happy and successful through overcoming difficulty, when you recognize it as a challenge to excel.

If you look at it as an annoyance, a devastation and something to avoid, your inner muscles won’t get flexed. They need a workout to grow and develop. The kite rises against the wind. It is the sail and the wind captured, that resistance that moves the boat ahead.

The Struggles Today Develops Your Strength For Tomorrow

So when things go awry, when your plans turn upside down, when the shit hits the fan and the bottom falls out, what to do about it? Accept it. We can move forward through problems if we choose to.

It requires awareness, it requires release and let go instead of giving up. It requires persistence and commitment to overcome and move forward. Attitude determines how well you do and how far you go. Embrace your problems. Look on them as real opportunity to learn.

Don’t run from problems that solves nothing. Don’t whine, complain, excuse or blame that only perpetuates the issue and brings you more of the same ill fortune. Instead embrace. Meet the challenge head on. Determine to be bigger than any obstacle. Decide to prevail!

I Never Met  A Strong Person With An Easy Past

Be David meeting Goliath. You can always find or create a way through, around, above, beneath, within. Create a path to victory. Adjust and continue. Keep going. Learn and develop resilience. Be thankful because gratitude can change everything. Attitude matters.

Count your blessings instead of your problems. Tell different situational and life stories. Determine to speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Affirm the good and the positive enthusiastically. Visualize the outcome as already yours. Feel it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Success Comes From Steady Progression

My last post included this quote ‘Success is the steady progression toward the realization of a goal,’ by Earl Nightingale. To succeed, all you have to do is keep progressing toward your goal. It is never over until it is over. You decide that moment. Many quit too soon.

Keep moving forward. An inch moved in the right direction, is progress in the right direction. Whether you get there slowly or quickly, you get there. Remember, the story of the tortoise and the hare? The tortoise methodically made it to the finish line.

You can too. Keep the faith. Keep doing a little bit each day. ‘Drop by drop the tub gets filled.’ You are not in a race. Remember that and keep the following in mind. Steady, positive progression is all that is needed. As long as you are progressing you are succeeding.

You Become What You Think About Most Often Each Day

Keep going. Keep making progress toward your goal. YOU can make it happen. You will! Just don’t quit. Never give up. You will learn and grow in the process. You’ll make mistakes and correct them. You will find or create a way. Along the way, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
