Stop Believing The Lies That Hold You Back From Having The Life You Want!

“I am going to say something you may think controversial. You may immediately disagree. I ask you to hold all judgement in abeyance until after I have presented my case. Then, do whatever you feel you must.  All thoughts and all beliefs are lies. They are falsehoods.

Not the intentional kind but they are falsehoods nonetheless. Our thoughts, our assumptions, our expectations, our beliefs frame what we notice, pay attention to, and operate from. They need not be accurate or true to be effective or have an affect.

At best they’re partial glimpses of the world we co-opted from others while growing up, some derived from experience. You can think or believe anything inaccurately, wrongly or stupidly. That’s why it’s critical to gain clarity on what you think and believe.

Today You Are Where Your Thoughts Have Brought You

It is critical to gain clarity on supportive versus non-supportive beliefs . Since all thought and beliefs are only a partial view of everything there is, it is critical we learn to choose supportive beliefs that help us create, and make happen, what we want in our lives.

It is imperative we choose the best, most positive, powerful beliefs that move us forward, assist us in overcoming obstacles and limitations, and motivate us to create the life we deserve to live. It is a choice. Of course, it isn’t if you don’t believe it to be. Decide!

If you believe you are hampered by thoughts, behaviors, others, the world, the economy and the weather then you have adopted a victim mentality that puts you at the effect of all else. Adopting the beliefs that you are at cause and able to triumph over all is a useful belief.

Tomorrow You Will Be Where Your Thoughts Take You

You may or may not triumph over all but better to try and fail, is it not, than to never try at all? Choose new, powerful, supportive beliefs that you can do whatever you put your mind to. You can learn to create abundance and live the life of your dreams. You can!

If you don’t declare this; if you don’t affirm this; if you don’t believe this, what is the alternative? How is that any better? You determine your reality by your mindset and it either empowers and supports you or disempowers you and is not supportive. It is your choice.

It is always your choice. The affirmations you recite now with passion and enthusiasm may not yet be accurate. Repeated long enough, often enough with enough intensity and they will become your new thought habits. They will replace the old negative ones.

You Cannot Escape The Power Of Your Thoughts

Condition your mind for success. Condition yourself for success. Enjoy more happiness, more prosperity, more love, more fun, more freedom by creating what you want. Imagine it and believe it. Keep at it until you bring it about it. It is all in your hands. Your mindset.

It is all between your ears, so to speak. Gain control over your thoughts and feelings and you gain control over your life. I’ll let you disagree with this if you wish. Create whatever reality you want. After all, it is your life. You decide how you want it to play out.

Do those things that support you in being who you want to be, doing what you want to do and having what you want to have. No one else can do this for you. Practice believing that which makes the future you desire, possible. Practice gratitude and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Eliminate Unwanted Behaviors Now Using These Tips!

“You want to change but have not been able to. You’d like to stop whatever holds you back and move forward powerfully. You want to get better at particular skills and improve what you do. Continue to read on and learn how you can increase these abilities right now.

In order to change we need to replace the non-supportive habits we have grown up with. We need to replace the limited thinking and mental conditioning we adopted and grew up being influenced by. We need to practice new positive thoughts and feelings.

We need to develop positive new supportive habits to take their place.  We do this by practice. We do this by rehearsing the new thoughts, feelings and behaviors as we do any skill. Practice a little bit each day makes a world of difference. Athletes know this.

Practice Is The Difference Between Ordinary And Extraordinary

To get good at anything you must schedule time for it.  Through correct practice and  repetition for a long enough duration we create the neural pathways that are necessary to make these new habits. It is better to do a little bit daily than a lot once or twice a week.

We create new supportive thought, feeling and behavioral habits that then become automatic and reliable and replace the old ones. This is how we change. This is why we must persist. I have shared this with you for many years prior to, and within, these blogs.

When You Understand This You More Easily Make Changes

Want To Change Your Life-

I had been wrestling with a major respiratory ailment for a few weeks now. I say that only to put it in a historical perspective. It has been an incredible blessing and I have learned a lot going through it. I’ve learned so much about manifesting what we want more of.

In order to be healthy or wealthy or happy one needs to feel healthy or wealthy or happy first. From that feeling or state of being we more readily manifest what we desire. So during this time I emphasized how incredible I feel and how blessed I am. It works!

We Are What We Repeatedly Do Excellence Is A Habit Not An Act

What I want to share with you is something I have been pointing out for many, many years. How our habits dictate what we do, pay attention to, what we get and why we must replace these in order to make the changes we want to. Here’s an example from my life.

About a week ago the electrical socket in one of my bathrooms went bad. It throws the circuit breaker. No power in rooms. 3 of the bedrooms and a bathroom. Because of my condition I didn’t run out to replace it. There are no lights or electricity in any of the rooms.

Nearly, every time I go into one of the rooms, particularly the bathroom, I hit the light switch. I know it doesn’t work but I turn it on anyway. I have done this nearly every time I enter. Why do I do it when I know it doesn’t work? Habit! It is a habit. It is reliable.

Skill To Do Comes Of Doing 

My brain knows what to do because it has always done it. It will continue to until a new habit replaces it. If I never replace the socket eventually the light turning on behavior would extinguish. That would take as long and as many times as it takes. It is what it is.

Why is this example important? When it comes to making the changes you want, you have to hang in there long enough to override the old conditioning. You need to replace the old non-supportive habits with new supportive ones. Your brain doesn’t care.

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between a supportive habit and a non-supportive one any more than it knows the electricity is off in my bathroom. It does what it does. In order to change what it does we must change what we do. We must practice it and rehearse.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You 

We continue to perform new thoughts, feelings and behaviors until they become reliable new replacement habits. The good news is as we begin to change these habits the process of changing habits becomes easier. The more we do the more we can do.

As Emerson said, ‘do the thing and get the power’. I hope you learn and use this example from my life to transform yours. Manage your thoughts and feelings. Those who complain that The Secret doesn’t work are typically those who don’t try correctly for long enough.

It isn’t magic. It isn’t wishful thinking. It is dedication to replacing limiting thoughts, beliefs, feelings and behaviors that no longer serve us, but have prevented us from living as we want to. We can change anything we want but we must be committed to changing.

Take Control Of Your Habits Take Control Of Your Life

Find blessings in everything. Look each day for what you can feel thrilled about and grateful for. Make it a habit. You will radically transform your life for the better, and discover the improvements you seek when you live in appreciation and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Expert Shares Secrets For Great Success And Abundance!

“Athletes and Olympians know training and conditioning isn’t anything anyone wants to always do.  It can be cold and rainy.  The champion can be sore and tired but they condition and train anyway. Training can be grueling but the champion commits to doing it.

Muhammad Ali said ‘I hated every minute of training, but I said, don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’ He persevered  in the present. He did whatever it took because he knew it mattered tomorrow. Our commitment and habits are important.

It’s the daily habits that keep us going when we don’t feel we want to. It is the habit of doing! It is the mental habit of doing it anyway. Athletes train and condition their minds, and their will so when they ‘don’t feel like it’ they do it anyway. It works because of their habits.

If Your Dreams Don’t Scare You They Aren’t Big Enough

That is the power of habit and conditioning. Ali further stated, ‘It is the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. Once that belief becomes a deep conviction things begin to happen.’ Napoleon Hill said the same things many years earlier. As did ancient mystics.

For centuries people have known and shared what works. Many come across it. Many hear it. Few apply it. Your negative conditioning doesn’t take a break because you don’t feel like it. So develop positive habits and keep going. Condition; train yourself.

Constant and consistent daily repetition of positive thoughts, feelings and actions is practice. It is rehearsal. When you practice correctly long enough you get good. Practice the winner attitude as Ali and others have and you can actually master it. It works!

To Be A Champion You Must believe You Are The Best 

Create habits that serve you in your pursuits. Create supportive habits that help you to be happier, be healthier, make more money, get along with others better and enjoy all of life that much more. Practice the gratitude habit. Commit. Condition yourself.

Once you do, you will significantly improve your life. You will overcome blocks and limiting beliefs and un-supportive habits. How Setting An Intention Can Make Your Day!

“Each day is an opportunity to rock your world. How you begin your day can determine how the day goes, flows and ends. If you want it to end well you need it to begin well, at the very least. Here is how you begin having more great days and fewer struggles.

After your first waking thoughts of, ‘I love my life. I allow, accept and receive all the gifts the universe has for me. Something magical is going to happen for me today,’ or another positive variation, set an intention. Direct your mind to consider what you’d like to happen.

‘I allow, accept and receive all the gifts the universe has for me’ is an intention. The thought directs your mind and your behaviors for the day. It sets a framework for you to follow. Allow, accept, receive. You can be surprised by what shows up or you can look for it or both.

The Power Of Intention Is The Power To Manifest And To Create

Make a decision, a positive determination,  of what you want your day to be like.  When you wake up in the morning plan for a good day. Realize that your expectations help shape what you find during your day.  For example, ‘today I will behave in loving ways towards Sue’.

‘Today, I will look for the best in each person I meet.’ ‘Today, I will feel more peaceful at work.’ ‘I will discover times to have more fun and delight throughout the day’. You could even specify 3 times during the day, or any reasonable number you choose. It’s up to you.

‘I will focus my attention on what I want to accomplish.’ ‘I will take one small step toward making my dream come true’. Determine what this may be and commit to it. In other words, how do you intend to utilize your day to make good things happen?

The Mind Is The Matrix Of All Matter You Get What You Focus On

If you get up each day looking for smiles you will find more than if you get up looking for frowns. Get it? It sets the frame for the day. Could you still find frowns? Of course, but if you are looking for smiles, you have a better chance of finding them. Seek and find.

When you anticipate good things happening you are much more likely to have good things happen. If you think the best about people you are much more likely to encounter people at their best. Store and remember your wins. Cut and forget your losses.

Determine what you want the day to be like and go out and live it. You can set at least one intention for the day. You could set more. You could even set a new intention with each change in activity or location. I’ll explain it but I suggest you start easy and build up.

Let The Power Of Intention Lead The Way – Set Positive Intentions

‘I intend to go downstairs and enjoy my breakfast. I will drive safely to work and enjoy the ride no matter what traffic is like. I will enjoy my co-workers. I will make 5 new contacts during this day. I will talk to Pete at lunch and help him out.’ Don’t do these all at once.

You do each one prior to the activity or the location change. You set your intention before going into the new activity or area. You set the frame for how you want it to be. Get it? This has the added benefit of making you consciously think about what you want during that time.

It takes haphazard out of it. It gives you a focus. What do you want? As you head into the kitchen how do you want breakfast to go? As you get behind the wheel how do you want the drive to go? When you enter the work place how do you want your workday to go?

A Good Intention Clothes Itself With Power – You Make It Happen

What do you intend to make happen? It helps you aim your thoughts, feelings and behaviors deliberately instead of just going through the day. It is a means of directing your mind. It is a pursuit.  It is what you intend to do. You commit and follow though on it.  Stay positive!

‘I will find and write down 25 things to feel grateful for before going to bed tonight.’ Then do it. Make it a point to keep your word. Don’t break promises to yourself or anyone else. Keep your word to you! This is most important. Do it! Then feel proud and grateful.

Your life can transform incredibly when you add the power of intention to what you do. Your focus and your ability to get things done, make things happen, will improve. You will develop a great new supportive success habit that helps you feel marvelous. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Begin To Claim Back Your Health And Well Being

“The road to good health and fitness is lined with products and services. Exercise equipment and gym memberships unused. Diets tried, applied and given up on. It is a billion dollar industry much of which is driven by profits for failure. Is good health possible?

Yes, of course it is. Everyday healthy, well-adjusted, happy people walk the planet. At the same time heart disease, cancer, obesity, diabetes for young and old, allergies are on the increase. Much of this is related to the chemicals and additives hidden in our foods.

Our food, our soil, are nutritionally depleted and most people live on processed, packaged, fast foods or restaurants. We live in boxes with off gassing carpets and particle board. Our water is fluoridated and contaminated. Sorry, it is not a pretty picture overall.

It Only Takes One Person To Change Your Life – That Person Is You

Yet, most science and research and experts agree that filling your mind with happy, positive or pleasant thoughts is the quickest road to health. Research into beliefs and the placebo effect demonstrate the effectiveness of our mindset in healing and recovery.

We can experience greater well being maintaining a high vibration positive mindset; an optimistic outlook, coupled with healthy daily practices. A good dose of positivity and personal belief in your own health, moderate exercise, good food and sleep can work wonders.

Attitude determines your altitude. It is the special ingredient that helps all the rest work together more easily and effortlessly. The quickest way to make and manage any lifestyle change,  job or career, relationships, etc., is by adopting a healthy positive attitude.

You Are What You Eat So Don’t Be Cheap Fast Easy Or Fake

Your happy thoughts and practices do help create a healthy body and mind. If there are a lot of changes you wish to make do a little bit at a time. First and foremost get your thinking working for you. That is number one. Control your thoughts and emotions. Think positive.

Adjust what you eat to include more healthy fresh fruits and vegetables. Limit the amount of processed foods and sugars. Drink more pure. clean water. Walk more, move more. Get some better sleep. Detox occasionally by bath or sauna. Get some fresh air.

Keep it simple. Avoid chemical and toxins in products. Read labels.  If you can pronounce what is in it don’t buy or eat it. When it comes to hair and body products a good rule of thumb is if you can’t eat it (or pronounce it) don’t wear it or use it. Simplify everything.

Stick With It – The Longer You Do The More Normal It Will  Feel

You don’t have to try to live in a log cabin or back in time. Simply attempt to get a little bit closer to nature. Live life and eat more like it was a 150 years ago when there fewer less chemicals and substances in the environment, our food, and less artificial light.

We were closer to the earth, more agrarian and less industrialized. Today, we are bombarded by microwaves, wi-fi, constant endless, distractions, chemicals, pesticides, poisons in our food, water and building and decorating materials. Simplify. Get back to nature.

Get back to nature even just little bit. We can’t escape the woes of the world, yet, we need not be worried or live fearfully. What we are able to do to live healthier, perhaps we should do. Engage in healthy mental and physical practices. Relax more, chill and seek balance.

Today’s Progress Is Determined By Yesterday’s Choices

Meditate and forgive. Practice appreciation and gratitude. Live and let live. Enjoy people and the planet. Get out more often. Socialize. Leave political talk aside sometimes and just have fun and pleasant conversations. Dance, sing, be free. Let go. Delight and enjoy.

You’ll feel better if you do a little of each of these. It isn’t difficult if you take tiny steps to improve your health overall. Then it is just a step at a time. You can do this. It is quite simple to simplify. Think, eat, sleep, move and live well. Celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes
