The Law Of The Mind

“People of a successful mindset help success come to themselves. They make it happen. They think it into being. Whatever we think in our minds must grow. Whether those are positive or negative thoughts, good or bad, whatever we think must grow. Notice this.

Become aware. Whatever you predominantly think most of the time is what you help bring about. Whether good or bad it is the same energy, the same focus, just two sides of a coin. This is good news. If you are thinking negative you use the same energy to think positive.

You can as easily create success as you can failure. You can create wealth as easily as you create poverty. It is all in what you think about most often. Do you focus on your problems and circumstances or on your goals and dreams? Which do you spend more time on?

You Become What You Think About Most Often

Taking charge of your thinking means learning to direct your thinking in productive ways towards what you want to increase or have more of. Spend your time thinking these things. What you think about you can bring about. Make it happen. Create it and it shall be.

Whatever you feed and nurture you help sustain and grow. If you focus on negativity and lack you create more of the same. It is a choice. Determine where and into what you want to put your attention, energy and focus. Choose which will win out for you.

Farmers weed their garden, so the weeds don’t overtake it. We too must remove the negative influences from our mind and nurture and encourage the positive.  ‘As a man thinketh in his heart so is he’ states Proverbs. Your success depends on your  thinking. Get it?

Whatever You Focus On Expands – You Get What You Focus On

Pay attention to what you focus on and what you believe. Become aware when your thoughts are not positive and eliminate the negative and accentuate the positive. Deliberately shift. Focus on gratitude and well-being. Concentrate on thankfulness and appreciation. Delight and enjoy. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Don’t Be An Idiot Manifestor

“The ‘idiot manifestor’ male states, ‘if what I think I become, then I should be an attractive, available woman.’ The idiot manifestor states, ‘if all I have to do is imagine it, then I should be able to fly.’ You have heard these arguments before, I am sure. I do, frequently.

It is with tough love I call them the’ idiot manifestor’. They confuse the science of getting what you want with magic or wishing for things. They equate visualization and affirmation, and putting your mind to work, with mysticism. They misunderstand! Get it?

You can wish for silly things all day and night. You can pray, light candles, visualize, affirm and PERHAPS you might get them. In all likelihood you won’t. The science of getting what you want is about creating what you want. It’s about you making it happen. Get this!

You Can Be Do And Have Anything You Want Within Reason

The ‘idiot manifestor’ usually is frustrated and confused. The person tries for a bit and gives up. Because they are misguided they don’t learn the science for making things happen. They think things come to you or you create things out of nothing, magically.  Things don’t!

Because their thinking is unrealistic and their expectations out of whack they don’t get the results they want and abandon the practice. OR, their misguided misunderstanding of it prevents them from attempting it in the first place. They have all the excuses.

It isn’t about wishing things into existence. It isn’t magically being able to fly or walk through walls because you think you believe it. It is about developing an unstoppable mindset that you put to work for you to create realistic, likely, results in the real world. It isn’t magic!

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You – Mindset Matters

It can seem like magic when you master how to do it but it still works within the law of physics. We aren’t literally turning lead into gold. We are learning how to think our way into successful ways of being to much more likely make happen what we want to make happen.

Napoleon Hill stated you can have anything you want ‘within reason’. I balked at this notion when I was younger because I didn’t understand what he meant. Does that mean I can’t wish for great riches or health or attract the ideal mate? What is within reason?

It means, if I am willing to put the mind work into it I can have the money I want. Mindset affects health in a multitude of ways. If I think, feel and behave accordingly I can be happier and healthier. As for the mate, I need to make myself attractive to a mate first. Get it?

You Are Today Where Your Thoughts Have Brought You

I can’t wish a mate into my life sitting in a chair hoping the person shows up. I can make myself the kind of person another person might want to get to know. I can’t fly without wings, nor can I walk through walls. Do you understand what you can and can’t expect.

One is practical and achievable. The other questionable at best. I never like to say never, but it should be made clear that Hill said, ‘What you can conceive and believe you can achieve’. Within reason. There is nothing negative about that tag. It means you can do it.

You can get real world results. If you apply your thinking, your attention, focus and energy into creating and living the kind of life you want, and believe you can make it happen, then you can achieve it. It is all up to you. It is always up to you and nothing else. Get it?

You Will Be Tomorrow Where Your Thoughts Take You

You Name It And It Is So!

“It is a problem when you say it is. It is, it becomes, whatever you say it is! You define it. You declare it.  What you perceive it to be, it is. What you believe it to be, makes it so. Believing is seeing. It is your mental judgement that does this. Don’t miss this point.

In reality, it is whatever it is. It is an event or a circumstance. It is a person. From that you determine how you react to it. You determine problem or pleasure, friend or foe. It is all up to you and your habitual thinking. You react from your past conditioning. Get it?

I know you don’t believe this. You think it isn’t whatever you call it. That it’s independent of you, It is a problem or a foe. That is  because you are, you have been,  conditioned to believe there are problems outside of you. Whatever it is, IS. Without judgement, it simply is!

Mind Set Matters – Perception Is Everything

Your judgement makes it so. If you decide it is awful, it will be. If you decide it is only an annoyance, it will be that. It will be whatever you declare it to be. Perception is everything. There is ONLY your perception. This is why you must become more aware. Get it?

YOU make it so! You lock it in. It could be anything but your definition of it determines how you react to it. It is all old mental habits. You grew up this way. You can be different. IT can be different but you must take charge or your thinking processes.

This is why you must always only speak to bless, heal and prosper. When you do, you can begin to create what you want instead. Take the energy away from what you do not want. Energy flows where your attention goes. If you call it horrible, it will be. Get it?

It Actually Is – What We Believe We End Up Seeing

I am not suggesting you ignore anything. I am suggesting, how you define things IS how you live through things. If your worst nightmare is a lesson, a fall from which you arise, then it is no big deal. If you redefined it as an opportunity, you’d feel differently. Understand?

You’d handle things differently than if it is your worst nightmare. If you decide it is something you can and will resolve, even if you don’t know how yet, and you believe it will work out for the best, then you are far more resrourceful and less stressed. Then, it can work out!

Stop living from previous, past conditioning and learn to live in this moment. Learn to live free from limitations and cumbersome beliefs that hold you back and keep you stuck. You can rise above any problem. YOU are bigger than any difficulty when you believe you are. MIndset matters. You can make a difference. Live triumphantly!

Your Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes – Focus Matters

You can always find a way to triumph. It is up to you and in your hands. You can always find the silver lining. You can dig for the gold. Discover the blessing in all. Then you live differently. You live in joy and delight because everything works together for good. Somehow it all works out. When you believe this you can celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To End Your Suffering

“To really transform yourself and go beyond what you already know you must at some time discover, and become aware, that what IS is what it IS . There is no other way. There are no alternatives. It couldn’t have gone otherwise. It is as it is. Accept this. It is as it is.

Your opinion, your thoughts, your beliefs of how it could, or should, be keep you trapped. The monkey mind jumps from possibility to possibility endlessly trying to solve it. It can’t! You need to transcend the monkey mind. Learn to control it and learn to transcend it.

Your mind thinks, ‘if only’. You mind thinks it would have been better this way or that way, but that isn’t what is. You get caught up emotionally in an opinion of what you think should be. It isn’t. You need to get over it. Drop what isn’t and accept what is! It is as it is.

Gratitude Unlocks The Fullness Of Life – Discover Gratitude

What else is there but what is? It doesn’t matter if it could have been different, it isn’t. So, there is nothing else but what is right now. This moment. You have a choice. Accept what is and move on, or continue to wish it otherwise, stay stuck, and suffer. Learn to let go. Allow.

Everything that IS is a blessing! We either enjoy it, grow stronger, learn from it, and change.  It is all is good. When you can come to this realization, and live from this freedom, suffering ends. When everything is a blessing then you are free to be happy. Get it?

Nothing you do inside your head, or your efforts, are going to bring a moment back. Yes, you think you can. That is where you are mistaken. Accept what is and move on. This doesn’t mean you can’t i work to alter things, but it comes from a certain place. or mindset.

To Accept Is To Say Yes To Life In Its Entirety – Accept All Say Yes

Instead of being caught in an opinion, instead of feeling and thinking negative, accept it as it is, accept your efforts and let go of dictating the results. You allow the results of your efforts. If it works out, great. If it doesn’t work out, great. All is good. It is as it is. Get it?

If you wish to continue to work for results you continue without being wedded to the conclusion. You stop suffering.  You act, you behave, you think and feel from an incredible place of freedom and celebration. You move forward positively. You accept and allow.

The enlightened person can act for change while accepting all as it is. It does not mean s/he doesn’t do anything. If that were the case, what would be the point of enlightenment? Change happens. Accept it. Act for change, while free of judgement. Be open and aware. It is.

You Are Free The Moment Judgement Stops Through Acceptance

Everything works together for good ultimately. When you know this you know all ‘trials’ all obstacles and circumstances, all ‘negative’ people are what is. It is life as it is. Accept it or not. It’s your choice. What you decide determines your bliss. Consider everything a blessing and you are free and happy. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Always Find What You Look For

“How you arise in the morning sets the tenor for your day. If you arise positive and happy and intend to have a great day, it is far more likely you will. If you arise with dread, not wanting to face the day, more than likely, the day you experience is one you will dread.

It is always possible, in either case, you could be pleasantly, or not pleasantly, surprised, but that is just how life, and things, are. Anything is possible. Still, if you get up looking for smiles you are bound to find them sooner than if you are looking for frowns.

Whatever you look for is what you will tend to find. When you look for your keys you may find all sorts of other things along the way to finding them. Still, your mind is focused on keys. Your brain works by intention, expectations and beliefs. That’s what your brain does.

Seek And You Will Find – Knock And The Door Will Be Opened

Whatever you expect to find, you will. Your brain seeks a match for it. What ever you believe is the case, your brain looks for a match for it.  Since we tend to find what we look for, decide to look for the very best. Look for the good. Look for the delightful. Look for the blessings. When you do you tend to find these. So remember to celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

All Is Well Is It Not

“All is well!  It is what it is.  It will be as it is when, and it will be as it is, now. It is as it was. Let it be. Let it be as it is. It will unfold as it does. We don’t know what we don’t know. We can’t. Stop pretending you know how it works out. Stop being forlorn and dire. Live a little.

In the long run, the big scheme, it always works out for the best. Speed bumps along the way are part of the journey.  All is good no matter what. You can learn from it. YOU are ALIVE. Everything after that is a blessing. Stop complaining and speaking of woes. Live!

Consider your life your vacation! How ARE you spending it? Live a little. Live a lot. Love a little. Love a lot.  We use our will to direct our  mind. Realize everything is a choice. It is a decision. Every moment you can choose to feel good or not. You choose to be happy or not.

You Are Where Your Thoughts Take You

When you consider ALL of life a blessing, every moment, you discover it can be. You navigate troubled waters far better than if you consider it problematic. When all is an adventure, whatever comes your way can please, because it is part of the adventure.

Get it? Stop calling things bad. It is a choice. Perception is everything. It is NEVER as bad as you think it is. FEAR; false evidence appearing real. Stop fearing, worrying, blaming, excusing and start choosing life, and life affirming thoughts, feelings and actions. Act! Act happy. Decide to be fulfilled. Act joyous.

Choose life and living fully, and you will. You become what you think about most of the time. It becomes easier the more you do it. Soon it becomes automatic. When it does, YOU are free! Celebrate all of it. You are blessed. Realize it and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Believe Can Kill You! Ask Mr. Wright. Ooops, You Can’t He Is Dead.

“The Placebo Effect states simply, if you believe something will benefit you, then it’s possible, and likely, it will. The Nocebo Effect states simply, if you think it will harm you, or have no effect, then it’s possible, and likely, it will. These effects  are well researched.

There is a famous real-life story about the placebo effect and Mr Wright. I shared this in an earlier blog post a while back. Mr. Wright believed a drug his doctor could get would save him based on what he read about in the press. His doctor administered a placebo.

The doctor told him he was getting the medicine he thought would help. His condition improved. Later, he read in the newspaper the ‘miracle drug’ didn’t work. His condition deteriorated. His doctor convinced him otherwise and his condition again improved.

You Are Today Where Your Thoughts Have Brought You

Later, he read the drug was a hoax. He died. Both the Placebo and Nocebo effect were at work. They are always at work about everything. We are always thinking. It isn’t just in medicine, but that is where the effect became obviously known. Look it up.

People have believed in all sorts of things and found help. Lourdes, amulets, faith healers, Voodoo healing and Voodoo curses, the Evil Eye. The list is endless. If you believe a food or practice is healthy for you it is likely it can be, even if it isn’t. Your beliefs may make it so.

If you believe it is harmful, it too, can be likely, even if it isn’t. If you believe it will add weight to you or help you shed pounds, then too, it is possible. It is all about what you believe! Nothing is locked in stone. Our beliefs determine our reality more than the other way.

You Will Be Tomorrow Where Your Thoughts Take You

I am not suggesting you can or should do anything believing the opposite. It is about what you actually, truly. already believe is or isn’t possible. Snake handlers have demonstrated success and failure with this concept of faith. Don’t test your faith this way. It’s stupid.

Be wise about it. If you decide you will only eat sugar laden chocolate cake and that it will be healthy for you and you will lose weight, it is possible. It may or may not be likely so don’t be surprised if it works or doesn’t. Don’t try to make a sows ear into a silk purse.

If you are surprised it works you didn’t believe it to begin with. If it doesn’t work, you may not have actually believed that it would. You won’t fly believing you can, so don’t walk off a high ledge. That isn’t what this effect is about. Still, it can powerfully assist you.

You Cannot Escape The Power Of Your Thoughts

It can assist you in healing and in accomplishing your goals when you believe you are able to and will. Mindset first and foremost, then everything else can fall in place. Placebo works well together with medicine that works and Nocebo works against the same medicine.

This revolves around one of my favorite, and most powerful, quotes by Henry Ford, ‘If you think you can or you think you can’t you are right.’ What you believe tends to determine how far you will go. If you believe you can, then it is possible, but it isn’t written in stone.

You still have to make it happen. However, if you believe you can’t then you may not even bother to attempt it. Get it? You determine your future by how you think about it. You determine your past and present in the very same manner. What you believe matters!

Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge

Whatever IS, is up to you. This is why I say consider everything a blessing because things can change when you do. Get it? Anything and everything is always up to you! No one else, but you! You determine whether you will make something happen. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
