What You Do Now Determines What Happens Next

“Always remember that the thought you think now determines the next thought. It creates and attracts what follows it. Our thoughts lead to our feelings. What we think now determines how we feel. How we feel determines our next thought. It is cyclic. It is a loop.

A negative thought leads to negative feelings and other negative thoughts. A positive thought leads to positive feelings and other positive thoughts. You either spiral down into more negativity and bad feelings or up into positivity and good feeling. It is a direction.

Get it? You set a direction by the thoughts you think. Either positive or negative. You determine what happens next by what you think right now. This is why it is important to learn to control, take charge of, and manage your thinking. You get back what you put out!

Positivity Is A Choice – Your Destiny Is Shaped By Your Decisions

As you deliberately think more frequently about what you want, as you consistently think more positively, as you think and speak in this way, and think less and speak less of what you do not want, you will discover yourself feeling and acting better. You get what you put out.

You will feel better, think better, and as a result act better and wiser. You will transform yourself and your life. Remember, we become what we think about most of the time. How you spend your time thinking is the difference that makes the difference for you.

Stay positive. Stay consistently positive. Focus on what you want that is good and that you desire. Stop thinking about what is negative, bothering you. and what you want to exclude from your life. Choose which you will do most. It is completely up to you.

Your Happiness In Life Depends On The Quality Of Your Thoughts

Your decision determines what happens next. Step by step along the way. You will discover life extremely pleasing when you become predominantly positive. Discover the joy that awaits you by taking charge of your thinking and therefore your life. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Get Great Benefits Doing This: You Lose When You Don’t!

“Your career is going nowhere. You are in a dead end relationship. Debt is a mountain too high to see past. What to do? Perhaps, your struggling with only one area or all at once. Even it isn’t terrible it can be frustrating. Whatever your situation you need to do this!

Lately, I’ve shared with you the importance of taking a break and being able to walk away, at least temporarily, from circumstances that are brining you down. You want to vacate for awhile to refresh and renew. You want to regroup and gather your resources.

You want to stop considering it a problem and begin to find the blessings within. You need to marshal your mindset and take control. You can’t do that if you are hooked and dangling on a disaster line. You gotta get free to create space and allow things to work out.

Life Is Playfulness – Playfulness Is Sacred And Life Affirming – Play

This IS important! When you constantly fret, are worried or frustrated, in dire spirits about circumstances, when you are spinning your wheels trying to figure out the right move, all you really are doing is continuing to contaminate and perpetuate.

You must get free and optimize your attitude. Take a break. Trust that you don’t know everything, and that somehow, even though you don’t know how, it will all work out. You will land back on your feet. Then keep the faith. Do anything else for a while. Get it?

Take a mental and physical vacation. Leave the situation alone, completely. Get away from it. Camp, hike, swim, play golf, tennis, do anything to create that space to renew your mind and spirit. This is so important I am reiterating much of what I have previously said.

Discover The Magic That Surrounds You Through Playing

‘I don’t know how it is going to work out, but it will and I am grateful.’ Keep this thought in mind. ‘Everything will be fine’. Remember, you can’t see around the bend. Unless you take inspired actions, much of your activity is wasted and does not help. Let go!

You can’t take inspired actions in you aren’t inspired. If your mind and feelings aren’t working together to feel the very best, you are most likely only making things more difficult by trying to figure things out. You are occupied with busy work that is not productive.

Cultivate an attitude of play. You can do this anytime. It is great to spend time doing this when not in crisis mode. Then you have it available if difficult times present themselves. First off, difficult times are nothing but a blessing, if you are wise enough to know.

You Are Either Open And Free To Play Or You Are Not

Second, play increases your high vibes and good feelings. Play with abandon as a little child. Actually have fun. Don’t play to beat someone and make it another job. Play for fun, delight, enjoyment. Let go into wonderful feelings and frivolity. Play enhances learning.

You learned so much as a child through play. You imagined, you pretended, you modeled. You were and are free to play without goals. Simply play. Play games to enjoy. Allow the play to lift your spirits because it will when you abandon concerns and just play.

Be grateful. You can do this anytime, even if it has been a long time. Develop the habit of spending time in play. When you do you clear and free your mind and your spirit. You become more resourceful. You can later, return to circumstances refreshed and renewed.

Never Put Off Fun Until Tomorrow – You Can Have Fun Today

You can get more productively done with a clear mind and clean heart than you can through toiling and worrying. Drop seriousness. Drop the drama. Drop the garbage baggage you have carried for so long and play. Find fun. Then you can bring play to solving problems.

You will fare far better when you do. So play, wildly free and wholeheartedly. Become as a little child again no matter your age or crusty spirit. Become fascinated and adventurous. Let outdoors and wildlife captivate you, while you marvel. Appreciate it all and celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes

Take A Break From Your Troubles Or Else…

“What can you do when things are wrong? It isn’t going as you want it to go. You struggle and fret and it seems like all you do is spin your wheels. Your thoughts are negative and you feel worried, anxious or worse. Everything you attempt only seems to make it suck more.

What to do? Take a break! Yes, I know it seems counter intuitive. I know you may have many arguments for not wanting to, how you must do something and if you take a break it will only get worse. Except it already has been getting worse with your involvement.

Take a break! Take a breath. Take a day or two to chill, relax, and do something else. Give your mind some space and your batteries a chance to recharge. Seriously, go somewhere fun. Do something fun. Learn to let go and take your mind off it. It hasn’t helped anyway!

Worry Will Never Change The Outcome – Manage Your Mindset

So far, your efforts and thoughts haven’t been most productive. Take a break. You really have to learn how to divert your attention and replenish your positive energy. In hippie terms you’re vibrating ‘bad’ energy. Your thoughts and actions only contribute to the situation.

Remove them, at least temporarily. Go on a mini vacation. Really go and forget about your problems! Go hiking, swimming, golfing, fishing, camping…  Get away from things for awhile. AND while you are away have fun, relax, let go! Right now breathe in and out.

If you are thinking I can’t do that then that is what you must do. If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got. If you are getting stuck in less than glorious yukkiness , doing more of the same won’t get you out. Get it? Do you?

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

Refresh and renew. Give yourself the opportunity to regroup. Reenergize. Reestablish your power. Focus on the positive. Release expectations of how it will work out. Let go. Give it a rest. Just know that it will certainly resolve. Somehow, someday! Take the break!

If it didn’t resolve to your satisfaction while you were away you will return more powerful, positive, optimistic, and refreshed. You will be better suited to handle the situation than from being overwhelmed. Get it?  Take care of yourself, first! Optimize yourself!  Refresh!

Things always do resolve. Good or bad, they will resolve. If it isn’t to your liking you can change it. If they do work out well or better than expected, all the worry won’t have helped. Learn to let go and trust. Know that everything always does work out! This is important.

Talking About Troubles Is Our Greatest Addiction – Talk About Joys

Learning to know and learning to trust that you will always land on your feet is an important mindset and skill to develop. Learning to let go and recharge are important to have as habits. When the shit hits the wall and it is overwhelming take a break, walk away. Recharge.

Return when refreshed and reenergized. You will be more positive and productive. If you are working on maintaining a powerful and positive mindset, at least a little bit each day, you will soon discover the benefits, if you haven’t already. So stay positive. Stay optimistic.

Know you can’t see how things will work out so stop expecting the worst. Read that again! When you expect the worst you create the worst, you reinforce the worst and attract it. Wouldn’t you rather create, attract and reinforce the positive? Read that again! Well?

Troubles Are Guidelines Not Stop Signs – Refresh And Renew

If so, then do what is necessary. Focus on gratitude and your blessings. Pay attention to what is working. Go have some fun. SOME real fun. Uplift and renew yourself. Put your mind on love, life, peace, blessings, delight, and know everything WILL work out. Trust, let go and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Here’s Why You Don’t Get More Of What You Want And How You Can!

“Everything in the universe is a specific arrangement of energy and information. Abundance is an arrangement of energy and information. The periodic chart lists the different arrangement of atoms making up the known elements. Still, it is all the same source.

According to Quantum Physics there is no emptiness, only energy everywhere. It is all the same energy, but arranged differently. You and me, and everything there is on this planet, and our known universe is made up of the same stardust. We are all one. All energy.

We are the energy and the abundance of the universe, living the illusion of being separate through our brain and mind. We imagine ourselves apart from and a part of, instead of one Source energy. We think things are separate from us. Apparently, they are not. Get it?

Everything Is Energy  – Your Thoughts Initiate It – Focus

What we believe makes the difference. We don’t know all we can do. Nor do we know what we can’t do. Anything is truly possible. To sort the difference, I use this method. Some things are better spent investing my time in than others. Get it? It is about having taste.

Abundance is energy. Money is energy. Health is energy. Love is energy. Everything is energy. Through our intention, our deliberate, clarified, specific thought of what we want to manifest, our burning desire, we can change the energy. We can draw it or repel it.

Even those notions are not accurate. All is as it is, when it is. Right now. So pulling or pushing is meaningless. Better to think we can accept it or not. We claim it or don’t. To make it happen we must get past the filters preventing us. That is the game of our lives, it seems.

Everything Is Energy – Your Feelings Amplify – Focus

Whether we have fun or delight is the question we face. What do you want it to be? It is already that. Now, discover it. Allow it. Accept it. Delight in it. Act as if you already have it. See it, feel it, hear it, speak it, taste it, smell it before it arrives. Do it from joy, not need.

When you need you keep putting it off. Like attracts more of the same. Need attracts or reinforces need. Having means having more. Feeling you have it now, means having it sooner than imagining how far you are from it. It is all a mind game. Take control of your mind.

We can create and manifest and make happen whatever we truly desire. It begins with thought. All thought is energy. All feelings are energy. Both are information. Align our thoughts and feelings with our desires and beliefs and we can make anything possible.

Everything Is Energy – Your Actions Increase The Momentum

Mindset matters. You can pretend anything and master it. Great inventions have been based on wrong science. Even then, when science corrects itself, the inventions don’t disappear. This may be nothing but a powerful reframe. It can get you what you want.

Abundance is source. It is energy and flow. You are source. You don’t realize it, yet, but you are. It isn’t about mere mental acceptance. It is about transformation and becoming. You are unlimited, and all powerful, to create what you want. Still, it is likely you don’t believe AND that’s why you don’t have what you want now. This IS why we must begin to, and continue to, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Break A Board Or Brick With Your Mind!

“When a martial artist focuses on breaking a board or a brick with their hand they have a special focus. They do not focus on their hand hitting the block because that would hurt. Instead they focus on where their hand is after it goes through the object. Important note!

In their mind they imagine the end result. Their hand has passed through the board or brick successfully. Their hand is in the finished position, complete and intact. They are successful.  They imagine this while facing the obstacle. They visualize being successful first!

Prior to breaking the board or brick they see it in their mind, FIRST. They imagine succeeding while looking directly at the ‘impenetrable’ object. They face the solid obstacle and they manage their fear and their doubts. They take charge and manage their emotional state.

Those Who Break Through Barriers Are Those Who Ignore Limits 

They believe, with certainty, they will succeed and overcome. They will be successful. They must believe this or they will stop the moment they hit the object and possibly hurt their hand. They manage their mindset, their emotions, their fears and their doubts.

They visualize succeeding! When ready they take full action.  When finished they celebrate their success in reality. Get it? This is what we do when we manifest. This is how we create our future. We see it now. We manage our state and we take action. Get it? Do you?

They harness and manage all their energy and resources. They are concentrated. They are deliberate. They are intentional. They have set an intention to successfully break through the brick. Energy flows where attention goes. Their energy goes to beyond the brick.

Life Has No Limitations Except The Ones You Make And Believe

They don’t put their energy into the obstacle but in going through the obstacle safely, and successfully. They know in advance they will prevail, they will succeed. Their energy is focused on what they can do and not on what they can’t do or how hard it will be. Get it?

You can learn to do this too. You don’t have to break boards or bricks but you can smash through any obstacle that has held you back and you can make your dreams come true. You can learn to succeed at anything. You can become happier, healthier and wealthier.

Would you like to? Say ‘yes’ if this is true for you! It requires learning new habits. It requires dedication and mental and emotional conditioning. I will help you. It requires study and preparation and taking action. Mindset and action are required. Prepare and do! Meanwhile, be grateful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Stop Robbing Yourself Of Your Time And Energy!

“Are you ever tired and exhausted? Do you ever get fed up? Are there times when you just can’t stand things as they are? Do you wish things were different? Have you ever lost it? There is one habit that contributes to all this. Stopping it will help you out immensely.

If you regularly read my blog, you know that I am a huge proponent of those things that amplify and focus your positive energy. Energy flows where your attention goes. What you focus on is what you get. We can always use more wonderful, positive feelings. Am I right?

There are things that deplete our energy and hasten the spiral down into negativity. Some of it you know, from reading here, that how you spend your time on social media is important. It can be a waste. It can be detrimental to you. Frequently, it is less than glorious.

Awareness Is The Key To Change – Become Aware And Change

Some people post, and get caught up in, fighting over topics. They block friends, and would be friends, for having different points of views. It can get quite nasty. They waste time reading and viewing all manner of bad news. There are far better ways to use your time.

Instead of positivity, they fill their mind with negativity. If you get what you focus on, spend time on, expose yourself repeatedly to, then what on earth would you expect the return to be, Bliss? Yes, I know some people thrive on BS and creating problems for others.

Some like to instigate because it makes them feel important. It is at a cost to them and others. You can’t get your time back. If you aren’t creating what you want, right now, and for the future, you are losing that opportunity. You might want to re-consider what’s important.

If You Want Things To Change – You Must Change Some Things

Edward Everette Hale said, ‘Make it your habit not to be critical about small things.’ Lot’s of times it is those tiny, petty, incidents and things that happen throughout the day that rob us of our energy. Placing time on these, instead of letting them go, costs us.

Notice and let go, rather than notice and engage. Let less than glorious happenings of all sizes flow away like water off a duck’s back. Stop! Let go. If you entertain them you will get hooked into them. That will further deplete valuable energy and valuable time.

You won’t get your time back! That is for certain. You will have created more negative vibes and feelings. You may have created, or furthered, a negative situation for, or with, someone else. You may have escalated it. Stop the insanity. Learn to get control. Change it!

Doing The Same Thing But Expecting Different Results Is Insanity

Worse, is the event happens only once! How many times you replay it in your head, AND for others, destroys more of your time and energy! Buddha said, anger and negativity toward someone else is like drinking poison but expecting it to harm others. It harms you!

If you don’t stop, or change what you are doing, nothing will change. Where you put your focus, what you attend to daily, routinely, what you get caught up in, is governed by your habits. You have habits of attention and focus. You have preferences in what you attend to.

Instead, let it go. Find and focus on the positive no matter how small. Stay tuned to the good things. Determine to feel good regardless. Do whatever positive things you need to in order to maintain good feelings. Walk it off. Access your resourcefulness. Smile. Laugh!

Develop The Positive Habits That Support You – Let The Old Go

Take a break. Create a break state, a pause. Breathe! Sing, dance, hop or skip. Go jump up and down. Shout your affirmations. Declare your positive power. Simply, don’t get caught up in a cycle that will spiral you down. Learn to maintain the good; de-escalate the bad.

Little things add up. Negative little things add up. So do positive things? Determine how you want to live and how you want to spend the bulk of your time. Do you want to feel negative most often, or positive? It is completely up to you. Feel good. Make it your mission.

Learn that you CAN change your habits. You won’t eliminate the old ones but you will replace them. Develop new, positive, habits! How? By doing the new behaviors, repeatedly, long enough, consistently that the new behaviors become automatic. That is how.

If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me – Dedicate Yourself For Your Own Good

You have to dedicate yourself to thinking, feeling and being a new way. You begin small and do it step by step. Whenever you become aware you got caught up in a less than glorious moment, shift to a positive thought, feeling and behavior. You will get the hang of it.

Practice gratitude. Make gratitude, for anything and all things, a habit. Spend time noticing what you appreciate and what you are grateful for. It will absolutely help. Consider all events, people and situations a blessing and you will transform. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Fail Because Of What You Don’t Do

“People wonder why they don’t get ahead, aren’t happy and not succeeding? The struggle and try harder but continue to miss the mark or fail. Why that is, is because of where they put their attention and where they don’t. You won’t get to L A unless you head to L A.

Not only must you know your destination but you must focus on it. Imagine trying to hit a bullseye but thinking about the wall, the outer rings, wondering ‘what if I don’t hit the bullseye’, or being distracted by anything and everything that is not the bullseye. Wouldn’t work.

Would it? In order to hit the  bullseye you have to aim at the bullseye and keep your attention on it. Energy flows where attention goes. You won’t hit the bullseye if your attention and energy is anywhere else. It is the same with hitting a baseball, a golfball or your goal.

Opportunities Come To Those Who Dare – Not Those Who Wait 

If you want to make your dreams come true, your attention and energy needs to be on your dreams. You can’t be impatient, you can’t notice the lack of it, you can’t be worried by the distance from where you are to your dream is, or anything else. You focus on your dream.

To make your dream come true you must know what you want. Precisely define it. Put the correct address in your GPS if you want to get to that correct address. You have to know where you want to end up. You must focus on it to the exclusion of all else. You must.

It must become a burning desire, a white hot obsession. If it is anything less, you are not likely to commit and persist. If you don’t care enough you won’t bother to make it happen if, and when, the going gets tough. You must be excited about it and feel good about it.

You Become What You Think About – What You Focus On Expands

When you think about making it happen you should feel wonderful. You should be eager and delighted. Anything less and you probably won’t make it happen. You have to keep your aim on the bullseye and know you will hit it. You can’t doubt it or you won’t hit it. Get it?

If it is to be, it is up to you. You make it happen. It doesn’t happen to you or for you. No one gives it to you. You create it, conceive of it, believe you can do it, and you achieve it. To do that you need the right mindset. Your attitude determines your altitude.

You get the correct mindset  by doing the things I have shared with you in these blog pages, correctly, repeatedly, consistently, for long enough to make it automatic, reliable, positive habit. It’s all here. Study and apply it. Do it. Apply yourself. While you do feel grateful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
