Today I Found 35 cents! Celebrate! Hooray!

“Your brain doesn’t know positive from negative. You do, a part of you does,  but a large portion of you doesn’t. It doesn’t know good from bad or a million dollars from a penny. You subconscious knows threats to your safety, and habits. It operates the same continuously.

It doesn’t know the difference between a perceived threat or a real one. It only knows threats. It could be likened to a machine or a shark. It does what it does and is ongoing. It has some basic instinctual programming, keep the human alive. Its conditioning

Evolution or or a creator or both built in a survival mechanism, which causes, fear, flight, freeze or fight. This topic we will save for another time. I have mentioned it in previous posts. It works brilliantly. It did from the dawn of human time through to today.

What You Think You Become – You Get What You Focus On

Today, however, few of us, at fewer times, encounter the real life physical threat of danger. Some of us do for certain, but we live in a modern world. Our brain doesn’t know that yet. So it doesn’t recognize the difference between a perceived threat and a real one.

It just doesn’t. It evolved or was designed to act quick. Now days, our threats tend to be emotional and/or perceived threats to our safety. Still out brain responds as it did years ago. We may be scared of meeting someone so we freeze or we flee. We feel afraid WHAM!

The brain kicks in. Your spouse argues with you. You feel threatened and you fight! Instantly, the body responds for fighting. Adrenaline pumps, we turn red, get hot etc., etc., etc. Our brain works to keep us alive by squirting chemicals to make us act in certain ways quickly!

You Attract What You Feel – What You Imagine You Create

Positive and negative are the domain of the conscious mind. Your developed the habit of smoking, biting your nails, drinking, over eating, being afraid of meeting new people and you decide you want to change it, your brain feels threatened. The status quo is changing.

It does everything it can to keep you the same. That is the job it has. It doesn’t care if you smoke or what you smoke. If it is a habit it will endeavor to keep you doing it. That is why to change behaviors you must learn new habits. You re-condition yourself to new behavior.

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between an imagined image and a real image. So when you visualize your brain and body respond squirting chemicals. You are afraid to talk in front of others and make internal images of being embarrassed. Your brain reacts.

You Can’t Have A Better Tomorrow Thinking About Yesterday

It pumps chemicals in you. You freeze or want to flee. Over time you become habituated to not talking and the feelings of fear when you think about it. To change you need to re-condition yourself to new habits. You need to learn new ways of behaving as you would like.

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between one penny and one million dollars. It doesn’t know or care. You do. Your brain will respond to what you care about because when you are filled with emotions your brain takes notice. Especially the fearful ones.

However, it takes notice of really positive, cheerful ones too. Strong emotion signals the brain to pay attention and respond. This is why when we are worried about things, people, events, circumstances, bills, and more we seem to keep perpetuating them.

When You Feel Alive, Vital, Wealthy You Attract More Of These

The brain reinforces and reacts to the strong emotion. The Reticular Activating System that scouts for danger also finds internal and external matches for what you are experiencing. If you feel afraid it provides you with more to fear, in associations or memories.

So, if you say to yourself, ‘I am such a klutz’, your brain finds more times when you behaved that way. If you say,’I am so stupid’, your brain has examples ready for you. If you say, ‘I’ll never get out of debt’ your brain will reenforce difficulty and failure or debt.

It isn’t really working against you it is working FOR you! It thinks that is what you want. It doesn’t know any better it just does what it is conditioned to do. It is a loyal, reliable, consistent servant and it is reacting in the only way it knows how. So if you want to change it…

Be The Energy You Want More Of – Be It And You Will Attract It

Here is what you must do. ‘I found thirty five cents today! Hooray! How incredible. WoW! I love finding money. Fantastic! Yes, Yes YES!!’ And do a happy dance. Celebrate. Make a big positive emotional deal about it. Have fun. Sing, skip, dance! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Make a big deal about what you want more of! Really celebrate. All it knows is you are thrilled with finding money. It isn’t concerned with the amount. It just notes the feelings! Because you are thrilled it gets the signal to find more money. It begins looking for matches.

I did this today! I found 35 cents while looking for something in my car. I celebrate. I celebrate finding a penny. When good things happen make a big deal about them. Delight in everything! Have fun. Even if it never worked you had a happy moment. BUT it does work!

Happiness Is A Conscious Choice – Not An Automatic Response

It is the same process that you already use when you get mad and fearful, but in reverse. We switch from the dark side to the ‘force’ side to create or attract more of what we want. Whatever you want more of in life, focus on it and feel fantastic about it. You will get it.

You get whatever you focus on and feel most strongly about anyway. So make sure you use good taste and aim it toward those things that improve you and your life. Focus on finding more love, joy and happiness. Find more good will and opportunity. Friendship and fun!

Celebrate and make a big deal. That is why gratitude plays such an important role in opening the doorway for more. Your RAS finds matches for what you most strongly pay attention to and feel strongly about. So imagine it, visualize what you want and feel great!

Your Positive Energy Vibrations Is What Attracts Things To You

This is how you begin to easily recondition yourself. Sometimes change is instant. Sometimes it takes awhile. Celebrate all of it. Be grateful and glad for the little changes. Exaggerate and delight in them and you will find yourself having more. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Gratitude Is More Than Enough Power For You: Don’t Miss Out!

“I had my topic in mind for today’s blog. Then I thought, I have written about it quite frequently, what else might I want to discuss? As I pondered, I got a message on my Facebook wall, that reinforced my original selection. I was very happy and grateful to receive it.

Here is the comment: ‘It’s always inspiring to see people who are constant living demonstrations of a certain ideal or principle – and you are such a consistent living example of gratitude. I tip my hat to you, sir!’ I appreciate the gentleman for sharing this with me!

Whether or not that is accurate I do attempt to live in gratitude throughout each moment of the day. I do this because I have found tremendous value and power in being grateful. Yes, overall, I am happier and healthier. So, today my topic is, again, gratitude!

It Is Not Happy People Who Are Thankful …

Here is why I was going to write about it today. I posted on my Facebook wall ‘dang, my life has just taken a fabulous turn for the incredible!’ I suppose naturally people were curious. They asked why. I had written it, just because, it is true. I felt wonderful.

Nothing out of the ordinary occurred, There was no new good news. By all accounts it’s just another day but each day IS incredible. As I am always learning if you want miracles expect miracles. If you want blessings, expect blessings! Make happen what you want to happen.

I answered the Facebook comments with, ‘Every day is a blessing.  What you say is what you get. What you focus on expands. Say what you want. Expect miracles and get miracles.’  It  works! Be grateful and you open a door for more of what you are grateful about.

… It Is Thankful People Who Are Happy

Feel wonderful about what  you already have. No matter how little or how much. I have learned to become thrilled over finding a penny! I do stop and celebrate it! Yes, it seems crazy to most people. It is a penny. To the subconscious mind it is money! I just found money!

The brain doesn’t know or care if it is a million or a penny. It only knows how I feel. I feel ecstatic when I find money or any good thing. Then my brain is primed and prompted to look for more. More what? More of whatever I got thrilled about! I get more good as a result.

You get what you focus on! I focus on being excited by little things. I focus on being excited by big things. I focus on feeling glad for moments and declaring them special. Declaring them sacred. I savor the simple, the tiny as well as the big, good news. Every moment!

Gratitude Is The Open Door To Abundance – Be Thankful

Each moment is an opportunity to be thrilled or not. Positive or not. Happy or not. I prefer to live with as much delight as possible. In order to get more good things I have to give more. I feel gratitude and so I discover more to feel grateful about. It fills up my life.

So today, I write again about gratitude. I can’t express enough about it. Do I forget? Sure. Do I get caught up? Sure. Do I lose it at times? Sure. The key is in the return to gratitude. The return to positive thinking. The return muscles is the one I exercise. I build that up.

Find anything and everything you can be thankful for. List it. Enjoy it. Remember why you are grateful. Experience the feelings. Live in these feelings as long and as often as you are able and your life will transform beyond anything you can presently imagine! It will!

Gratitude Is One Of The Most Medicinal Emotions We Can Feel

Find moments! Find memories! Find the time to do it. My first stint with gratitude came during meditation when I was 25 years old and I realized my feet had carried me through life for 25 years. It had never occurred to me, prior to then, to be thankful. It blew me away!

I started thanking my feet and then everything I could about me. It became an immensely incredible and rewarding practice. I would forget, get caught up, and return to many times. I taught it in seminars and shared it around the world. It is a profound experience.

What isn’t profound is the concept. What is profound is when the gratitude grabs hold of you and your entire being swells in appreciation and gladness. When every atom, cell and neuron feels alive and blessed. It is bliss! It is incredible! Live it and declare it!

The More We Do The More We Can Do – Begin Today – Continue

What you say IS what you get! So declare what you want. Make it yours by feeling grateful about it. Find a penny. Celebrate! Shout ‘I am blessed! I always find money! It feels so good! I love finding money! Thank you, Thank You!’ Or something similar. Be happy!

Make it a big deal. Speak more good things into being. Declare it good and it will be good! You attract back what you put out. What you focus expands. Feel grateful. Be grateful. Live in gratitude. More good will come your way. Delight and enjoy!  Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Do This When Your Situation Sucks!

“A good friend texted me stating he needed some reframes. He spent a trying day, more than 12 hours in the airport, attempting to get to L A, with delays and missed flights. A remarkable man himself I sent him these words. These apply to all of us at anytime.

Learning patience can be a trying experience. As can learning to accept what is IS. Yet, what might you discover about yourself going through this difficult time? Are your thoughts supporting you and the situation or helping to undermine and frustrate you even more?

You decide which it is? Decide what needs to be done that will support you with who you are and who you want to be. Our thoughts about our situation contribute to how we feel. Are they lifting you higher and helping you feel better or not?

This Too Will Pass – But If It Didn’t – What Would You Do

Yes, it is difficult. Yes, the situation can be frustrating. That is what is. How you respond determines how you go through it. Are you contributing to suffering or feeling centered? Breath. Find your center. Take some deep breaths and let go. Allow it. Accept it.

You won’t change it being angry about it. That is as unlikely to change anything as yelling at the weather is for not being to our liking. Create a pause. Look inside and breath. What can you learn about yourself from this? Can you consider it a blessing in disguise?

If is is a blessing then what does it hold for you? Only you can determine that. There are two ways to view this. Positive or negative. Which feels better? Which gets you closer to the real you and the you you are evolving to be? It is your decision.

Inside Every Adversity Is The Seed Of Equivalent Opportunity

What are you focused on? Is it making you feel better or worse? Energy flows where your attention goes. Are you focused on what you want or what you don’t want? If you know what you don’t want then turn and focus on what you do want that makes you feel better.

Everything passes. Change is constant. This too will pass. BUT pretend for a moment it doesn’t. This would be your future forever. Is this what you want? Do you want these thoughts and feelings? Make them what you would want to live with forever. Your choice.

While I may have bias there is no correct answer. There is no correct behavior. There are choices and whichever you make those are your choices. Accept them. I choose based on what I want to create more of for myself, perhaps you may too. Meanwhile, peace and blessings!

Challenges Make Us Stronger – The Kite Rises Against The Wind

If you can find the silver lining you are ahead of the game. If you can find what there is to be grateful for, even inside a difficult situation, you are ahead of the game. Relax, breath, center, let go and feel grateful. What lessons can you learn? Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Make Good Things Happen For Yourself

“Would you like to be blessed more in life? Would you like wonderful things to occur for you? Want better health, happiness, opportunity, money or things to show up? Whatever you want you can have but it is up to you. It’s not up to anyone or anything else. Just you.

Begin by feeling blessed. Feel it. Do whatever you must in order to feel enjoyment, delighted, happy, grateful and blessed. Do whatever you must that is positive, legal and safe, that is. That should go without saying BUT but some people make it necessary.

Feel grateful, feel positive, feel blessed. Feel happy, feel healthy, feel wealthy. You first. You go first. You feel it first. You think it first and then you open the doorway for having these. You won’t have them if you feel negative, worried, frustrated or crappy. It just won’t happen.

I Stumbled Across My Strength Because Of My Struggles

You create luck from your mindset. You reap the harvest from the seeds you plant. Whatever you want you can have as soon as you learn to think it and feel it into existence. At one time there were no chairs, spoons, clocks or computers. Someone had to conceive these.

Everything humans made began first as a thought and then were brought about by follow through. Think it, feel it is possible, believe in yourself and you can make it happen. Feel eager, excited, feel joy that good things can and will happen. You will delight yourself.

Most people say, ‘okay, I’ll try that.’ They say ‘o boy, I feel good. Now what?’ Then, when things don’t happen they follow up with, ‘see, I knew it wouldn’t work’. THAT is not believing. That is not trusting or having faith or being 100%. That is why it will not work. Bad mindset.

Life 10% What Happens To You – 90% How You Respond To It

You have to be 100%. You can’t halfway plant a seed. You have to plant it. You can’t halfway dive into a poo.l You have to dive in. Give yourself over to light, love, happiness and joy. Give yourself over to delight and enthusiasm and notice the difference it makes.

The good life can be yours but you need to create it. It doesn’t happen for you. YOU do it! ‘Luck is the crossroads where preparedness and opportunity meet’. YOU must prepare! Then take advantage of opportunity. You have to have skin in the game!

Begin feeling grateful for everything.  Feel blessed for everything. Appreciate the good and not so good. Live fully with appreciation. When things don’t pan out be glad. Be thankful for the opportunity to learn and evolve through challenge. Grow! Delight! Develop an unstoppable winner’s champion mindset. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Start A Wow Diary

“There is another practice you will want to engage in that brings about great delight. As with any of these approaches you only get as much in return as you are willing to put into them. If you invest in this practice, plant the seed and nurture it you will reap a bounty.

If you dabble or do little or nothing don’t expect much to be different or great results. The Law Of Attractions states like attracts like. You get back what you put out, or in this case, into it. Dedicate yourself, commit to it, and you can expect a good return. You’ll have to trust.

Trust until you try it. Once you prove it to yourself by seeing it through you will want to keep doing it and encourage others to as well. So what is this approach? Keep a WOW diary. Yup, start and keep a WOW diary. What on earth is that, you ask. It is simple.

When You Are Thankful For The Little Things They Aren’t So Little

In this diary or journal you notate, or keep track of all the times something great and unexpected happens. It may be big or small. Especially notate all the small ones. Most people miss those waiting for the big ones. You find a penny. Pick it up! Do a happy dance.

Thank the universe! Make a big deal out of it. BE HAPPY. Why? Because, as you do this, you train your brain to look for more pennies. Not only more pennies, but more money. You provide great signal strength when you make it a big celebration.

You are informing your brain, your RAS, to be on the look out for money. So when you make a big deal out of finding money, in any amount, you are even more likely to find more of it. Some people are so tuned into money they find it all the time. You can too.

Appreciate The Little Things – There Are Many

Celebrate whenever something good happens. You get some good news, a letter or a phone call. Shout hooray. Do your happy dance. You get a discount at a store, or an unexpected extra discount move those feet and shake those hips. Happy dance around!

Unexpected, coupons arrive in the mail to help you save money, be happy! Stay happy. Celebrate those free samples you get in the mail and in the stores. Savor those tasty treats in supermarkets as gifts from the divine just for you! Say yes. Accept all. Receive these!

If someone wants to take you to lunch or dinner. Don’t say no, you shouldn’t say ‘THANKS That would be great!’ When good things happen say thanks. Receive it. Most people stumble around and say, ‘you really shouldn’t’ when people want to do nice things for them.

Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems

We have been conditioned to think we don’t deserve it. We are conditioned to think a penny isn’t money or worth much. We do deserve it and it’s all worth it! Condition yourself to find the good wherever you are. Make it a habit to say YES to the universe!

Celebrate the expected and unexpected good as it arrives. Write it in a journal. ‘I found a penny! Hooray!’ ‘Today these great things happened to me!’ Linger in those wonderful  moments. Create the positive, high vibration and LOUD signal value to inform your brain.

‘MORE! Bring me more good!’ Your brain doesn’t know or care whether it is a penny or a million dollars. It only cares about the feelings you have. Attach good feelings to the things that happen to you! Celebrate finding money whatever the denomination! Get it?

One Day You’ll Look Back And The Little Things Were Big Things

It doesn’t care whether you visualize a happy future or see it in reality. The brain doesn’t know the difference. If you worry or have bad circumstances the brain doesn’t know or care, it only responds to the feelings you are generating. BAD! Yuck! Give MORE!

To the brain it is all one and the same. It doesn’t care whether you are happy or sad. It will give you whatever you ARE. So what are you most of the time? How are you feeling? What are you thinking? It will return to you whatever you focus on.

This is why some people seem cursed while others seem blessed. Focus determines what the energy is. If you are focused on your problems you get more problems. Focus on blessings and get more blessings! It really is a no-brainer. It is that simple!

I Am Grateful – Thankful – Blessed – And Happy 

Some people worry and fret and think, ‘nothing good ever happens for me’. Their brain will continue to prove that to them. Others feel blessed and lucky all the time. Their brain proves that for them. Whatever you predominantly feel is what you get back more of.

Want good in your life. Be happy and celebrate everything. Feel incredible and more will come your way. Feel bad and more funk occurs. Haven’t you ever noticed this? Whatever you want you can have. It is all up to you. Attitude determines your altitude.

Develop a happy, powerful, positive winner attitude and watch your life change. DO it today. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Create More Good Fortune And Opportunity Through Gratitude

“If I were limited to one thing I could recommend to people that would absolutely change their lives for the better this is it. Yes, there are many different practices and principles that are important that we could apply. Perhaps, though, nothing is as important as this.

When people speak of the Law Of Attraction they talk about vibration and whether it is high and positive or low and negative. The principle behind the law of attraction is like attracts like. AS previously discussed our RAS does this for us. It finds matches.

Negative attracts negative. Positive attracts positive. If you want to attract or create or become aware of more of the good things in life there are some things you can do. I have already suggested keeping a gratitude journal and expressing gratitude daily.

What We Want To Do With Ease We Must First Do With Diligence

Everyday, before bed, write down at least, 25 people, activities, or things you are grateful for. This is a powerful practice and it can change your life. Living from gratitude is even more powerful. On a moment to moment basis you express gratitude for everything.

Anything and everything that is offered you. You’ll find plenty to resist, therein is the point. You begin to become aware of how you interrupt the flow and fight it. When you surrender to what is, that doesn’t mean you can’t change it. It means you accept it. You allow it.

You can change it. Yes, it seems counter-intuitive, or as if I am speaking out of both sides of my mouth, but once you accept it you are free of it. You can change it or not change it and it doesn’t really matter. Free is free. You rise above it. You aren’t subject to it.

Drop By Drop The Tub Fills – Eat The Elephant Bite By Bite

When you can begin to appreciate everything, the good and the bad, then there is no good and bad. All is good. All has something of a blessing and a learning or a benefit in it. Yes, you may have to dig deep to find it, but once you do, it can be transformative.

Knowing this and doing this are two very different things. It begins with awareness and understanding. It isn’t always easy but it is simple. Live in appreciation. Imagine you created all of it so you could learn positive life lessons. That can be a useful frame to have.

Be responsible for all of it and the grateful for everything makes sense. It is all good, even if it appears as if it is not. Learn to let go, learn to learn from, and learn to celebrate everything! Still, a great way to start and practice is to keep the journal. It tunes us to things we are thankful for. Enjoy and really — celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Get More When You Give It Away!

“Today, share it! Give it away. Only talk about your blessings and the good that happens to you. Put a guard before your lips and keep everything positive. Limit yourself to just the blessings and the good stuff. You’ll be surprised at how much energy and vitality to save.

Not only will you save it but you will feel it. You will feel more alive, free and marvelous. Your overall sense of gratitude and well being will increase. Once you eliminate the negative, as an option to talk about and discuss, great things can begin to happen.  They do!

The Easiest Way To Solve A Problem  – Stop Participating In It

You reinforce the great stuff when you share it with others. You relive it when you replay it. You affirm it. The more you fill your life with these thoughts and conversations the more you create them. Be grateful for everything and you’ll have more to be grateful about.

Make your water cooler and social networking time produce good results for you. Stay focused and relive the good stuff. Let go of the not so good stuff. Help others learn to do likewise. Far better to have a positivity party than a pity party. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Beer Film Editing Parents And Breakfast

“Who can say when anything actually begins. I could point back to a week ago or many years ago. I’ll start with editing a feature film. I just love synchronicity and life’s little blessings. You never know when or how but you can always expect to be pleasantly surprised.

Over a week ago I contacted my film editor to meet with me. We chose today. An early coffee shop meeting to discuss his vision for the film he is editing. He has been cataloging footage and reading and re-reading the script. I love his ideas. It was a wonderful.

Let me back track. I had been out of town for the past four days. A very good friend of mind was celebrating her birthday with her parents and friends on Sunday. I haven’t seen her parents in 20 years and some of the friends in about 5. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to go.

You Can Always Find Something Good Without Looking For It

She had the celebration for Sunday from 3 to 7. The conference I was at was to let out at 5pm on Sunday. Then I had a two hour drive back. If it was still going I might be able to stop by at the end. I did want to meet back up with her parents.

Fortunately, the conference ended early. I got back about 6 called and was told where they were. A wonderful Beirgarten I had never been to. I met up with her parents, our old friends, some new ones I did not know and spent a couple wonderful hours with them.

This morning I went to meet the editor. I texted my friend told her I enjoyed seeing her parents. Wished I could say good bye and tell them to have a safe trip home. Meeting the editor he said the coffee shop he picked wouldn’t open for another hour. There was another.

Synchronicity: The Universe Telling You – You Are Getting Warmer

Just up the street. We had to go around the block because we were south of the restaurant on a one way street. We went around, found another coffee shop and stopped to pull in there. However, it was metered parking, change only, and I didn’t want the hassle.

We pulled around and headed back to his first suggestion. They had a parking lot. We got the last empty spot. Went in and had some wonderful food and good conversation about the feature film. Over coffee our conversation turned to positive expectations.

We discussed how sometimes we miss good things because we are focused on the not so good. Suddenly as I was talking I realized I was looking right at my friend and her parents. They were in the same shop. She faced me but hadn’t seen me, yet, either. WOW! Cool!

Everything You Need Comes At A Perfect Time – It Always Does

I went over and said hi and they were as surprised as I was. We had ten or so minutes of very pleasant conversation and marveled at how fortunate we were to meet up again, since we had wished to. My friend mentioned she had looked for my car upon arriving.

It was from habit. Often we meet at a lake of for food and she seeks to find where I am parked. She stated she realized she was looking for my car when she should have been looking for her parent’s car. Anyway, we got to see each other again and send off well wishes.

It was a wonderful surprise. I returned to the table and told my editor friend about the Biergarten and this fortuitous meeting today. Oddly, he had been to the Biergarten a day earlier for the very first time. We both discovered a great new place to hang. Hmmmm….

Live – Learn – Love – Laugh – Celebrate Everything – You Are Blessed

The universe provides. I don’t care to believe or not believe in anything. Everyone chooses their own beliefs and rationale.I just enjoy it. I simply know good things come to those who expect good things to come to them. We get what we focus on.

Life is filled with blessings. There were countless decisions made by the 3 parties, my friend, my editor and me. Yet, we all ended up at the same place, at the same time, out of hundreds of possibilities. Coincidence, luck, serendipity, fate, whatever, it is good. I enjoyed.

I think the more we are grateful and they more we feel blessed in the little things the more room we make for more of them. This is a simple story about part of my day. I felt like sharing. I’m not sure why, but, perhaps, it will resonate with some readers. I hope you enjoy.

Expect A Miracle – Allow It To Happen – Then Celebrate Again

Meanwhile, find your blessings and the magical moments. Enjoy and savor them. Have fun, delight and expect more each day. In fact, expect a miracle. After all, why not? Keep the faith. Do You Deserve Success? What If You Don’t? Do This!

“You deserve success. You deserve to feel successful BUT what if you feel like you don’t? Probably, no amount of trying to think you do, will convince you. You’d just end up struggling to feel worthy, which you are, but you still don’t feel like it. Right?

So, you imagine having what you want; a new relationship, more money in the bank, a wonderful career;  a brand new car or home, or a piano, or weight loss or weight gain; but when you do imagine it you don’t feel glorious.  You feel stuck. Right?

You have less than glorious feelings. Something is off. Something is not right. You doubt you will get it or you feel ‘not so good’ while thinking about it. This is a signal that you aren’t in alignment with what you want. You won’t get what you want feeling that.

Never Judge Yourself By Your Ability To Please Another

You will only get more of THAT. So what to do? You want it, but… Here is what you do. Have you ever given a gift to someone? When you did what did you do? You bought or made it and then you gave it to the person. When they received it what did they do? Said thanks.

Whether or not they deserved it you still gave it, right? They took it. Right? Have you ever been given a gift? What did you do? You took it. Didn’t you? Whether or not you deserved it, you still received it. So you both gave and received gifts and deserving wasn’t an issue.

DROP the notion of being worthy or deserving. You don’t have to be to get a gift. You don’t have to be deserving to find a dollar on the sidewalk. You don’t have to be deserving to notice something that makes you smile. You don’t have to be deserving to be delighted.

You Don’t Have To Please Others To Be Worthy – Love Yourself

You just accept it. You just notice it. You just say thanks. When it comes to your goals and your dreams, no matter what you have been told in the past, no matter what you believe, you don’t have to deserve it. You only have to allow it. You only have to receive it.

Say thanks and go on. Let the universe, yourself and others gift you without qualifications. Allow yourself to be open and receptive. Delight in freeing yourself of the unnecessary burden of worthiness. Those are artificial conditions we learned to have from birth on.

All that is comes from other peoples rules and conclusions we drew from experiences. It isn’t reality. Worthiness is an arbitrary concept. You had to be good to get a cookie. You had to get an A to please your parents. You were made to jump through hoops.

You Are Worthy Just By Being Who You Are – Universe Loves You

Not bad in itself but the messages we got might be that, unless we were good enough, worked hard enough, did the correct things, pleased the right people, developed ourselves, were smart enough, rich enough, good looking enough etc. only then could we get what we wanted.

I am here to tell you that is a load of crap. You and I may have bought into that but it is time to drop it and let it go. It is time to receive and not be concerned with anything else. It is time to shine and feel glorious for being who you are. It is time to accept abundance.

Drop unnecessary baggage. When you arrive at your destination you put your luggage down. You do not keep carrying it with you. Give yourself a rest! Accept who you are and drop all else. Receive what there is to receive. Enjoy and delight in all.

Close Your Eyes – Clear Your Heart – Let Go – Accept Yourself

So there isn’t any misunderstanding. This doesn’t mean you don’t do your work or take part in being responsible. It means you drop the beliefs and reasons for not being, doing or having. You let them go. You live accepting and including instead of excluding and dismissing.

Allow yourself to simply want what you want. It is OKAY to have wants. Be grateful for all there is. Enjoy life unfettered. Stop trying to make yourself feel worth it. Say thanks for the gifts. Appreciate and keep moving forward. Celebrate. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What Is Your Little Miracles Quotient? How You Can Improve It!

“A few months back I attended a screening in the Chicago area, of a feature film I have a role in. Prior to the film starting I went next door had an amazing dinner and glass of wine. This culinary experience has been on my mind on and off for these past months.

This week the yearning grew large. I could taste it. I didn’t want to drive a couple hundred miles round trip just to dine but I was getting willing. Monday through Friday I began to imagine that I would dine when some meeting or audition became available near by.

Choose To Have Magic And Miracles In Your Life

Friday, I was contacted and asked if I could audition in the Chicago area today. As I drove there I realized I might not be far from my desired restaurant. As it turns out, I was only five minutes away! I went to the audition, it was fine. Then went off to dine.

Dine I did! I had the same meal and wine. Delicious again. This time however, I sat outdoors in the gorgeous afternoon weather. I got to enjoy two incredible happenings in one day. A positive  audition and a positive dining experience. I was absolutely delighted by this.

I mentioned today to someone who then asked. ‘So, did you get the dining experience, that you thought about all week, by creating an audition? Or did you create an audition by thinking about the dining experience all week?’ The truth is I haven’t a clue and I don’t care.

Within You And Your Life Exist All Possibilities

Sometimes, I think we try to figure things out and it just gets in the way. To celebrate the moments seems to be the correct thing to do. To enjoy and be grateful is appropriate. I don’t think we need to overthink things. Relax and be happy. Delight in everything,

As an actor I look at it this way. I got to audition. Whether I book it or not I got to audition. On top of that I got to eat a really wonderful meal outdoors that I had been hoping I would for a couple months. All is good. So whether this job comes about or not, no worries.

Maybe, something else is completely in store. I don’t know. I just know things always turn out good no matter what they are. If nothing comes of the audition, fine. I used to want to get every job, Now I know I get the right ones for me. All is good. Truly!

Want More Good Things – Then Celebrate Everything

This past week I had a wonderful audition. I really enjoyed it and thought I’d love to have more like that. I did today. I got called twice yesterday, so I have another coming up on Monday. Then mid-week. So that is pretty cool. 4 auditions in 7 days is good!

My point is, if I don’t book the role so what. I let it go. I wanted to have more fun auditions and they seem to be coming my way. I am happy with that too.  I wanted to eat at this wonderful restaurant and today I did. I take it all as wins. All is marvelous! Good things!

Seems like to be grateful is all that is necessary. Enjoy whatever happens in the future. I’m not going to try to force things or worry over things. I’ll enjoy the little sweet moments all along the way. Mini miracles. Some might call them coincidence.

Count All Your Blessings Large And Small And Delight In All

Others might say they are a cosmic treat. I don’t care whether it is a coincidence or not. Good things came about and I know more good things will too. Whether the audition and dining were connected or not I had a wonderful day. It always works out for the best.

Savor the moments. Expect good things. One of my mantras is, ‘all good things flow my way and I joyously receive them’. Open the doors for more and more wonderful things to enjoy. Don’t sweat the less than glorious stuff, let it go. Don’t try to force things, allow.

Receive. Whether you creator or attractor, simply put it out there positively and let go. As when you tell your waitperson what you want for lunch. You place the order and allow them to bring it. You don’t go back and tell everyone how to do it. At least, some don’t.

Magic Happens When You Allow Wonder And Let It Happen

Life is a gift. I think too many of us forget that. We get caught up in trying to make things happen. We get frustrated and disappointed that things don’t work out. We compare to others and feel bad. Stop, that isn’t why we are here. Well, I can’t actually tell you why.

Perhaps, we are here to fulfill some larger cosmic purpose. Perhaps, we are here by a random accident. Who cares? We are here. Either we love it and enjoy it or we don’t. Why not make it a point to have the best life possible no matter what?

That is a decision you and I can make. The rest is not all that important. Live, love, and laugh! I like to enjoy the ride. What about you? It is a most wonderful, mysterious one. That is what adventure is all about; not having it all go by plan but by being surprised.

Receive It – Allow It – Accept It – Be Open To It – Say Yes

It isn’t about knowing all the answers or what is around every bend. To choose which fork in the road and be surprised is all a part of it. Adventure isn’t predictable or it isn’t adventure. Life is a mystery. It is not something that should be solved. It’s to be lived! Explored!

Sometimes it is challenging and scary other times it delightful beyond belief. So, I am counting my blessings. Enjoy and be grateful for the little miracles that make you smile. Count the blessings and more come your way. It is always all good, regardless! Regardless!

My two auditions, upcoming this week, are within a half an hour of the restaurant. Perhaps, I’ll return. Yum. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
