Accept What Is As It Is And Accelerate Your Transformation

“Here’s a mindset that may seem difficult to adopt or except but if you do, I can promise you can get fantastic results. Here goes. Accept what is, as whatever it is is. Consider yourself lucky and blessed to have the opportunity to experience it. Feel lucky!

Whether what IS, is good or not so good, think of it as a game. Think of life, your life as a big, fun, challenging game worth playing. All of your challenges, all of your hardships, everything is there for you to have fun, to be fulfilled, to feel blessed and to transcend it.

It is a blessing! You are here! That is THE gift! What ever is going on IS a gift! You ARE alive. You HAVE so much to be grateful for. There IS so much in the world that is good. YOU ARE ALIVE! YOU GET TO HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE! Accept it. Feel it. Celebrate it! You ‘IS’.

Life Does Not Get Better By Chance But By Change

Stop disliking and start accepting. Start receiving. Start learning. Learn from your challenges and opportunities. Learn from those difficult people and events. These are ALL gifts to you. You ARE lucky to have included them in this life of yours. Get it?

You may not  presently choose to think so, but when you do your life will begin to transform. All of life, ALL OF LIFE, is an incredible, precious gift. Yet, some choose to suffer, whine, complain, blame and excuse. They choose to fear, doubt, worry, get angry and hate.

They, you and I, can always choose, otherwise. Whether we do or not is up to each of us. That is yours and my responsibility. Inside every hardship is an equivalent seed of opportunity stated Napoleon Hill and others. Everything is a blessing and an opportunity to grow!

If You Want Your Life To Change You Must Change Some Things

Thought leaders through out  history have said that you are blessed. We are blessed.  Consider all of life a game and any frustrations and  challenges are part of the fun of playing the game. If there weren’t any hardships to endure and overcome it wouldn’t be much fun.

You wouldn’t want to play against anyone other than a worthy opponent, would you? Teams want to compete against the best teams, don’t they? Masters at their craft want to play or compete against other equal or better masters. Difficult people are yours.

It is what is. Realize it is all a game.  How you go through it depends on your attitude. That is the single most important factor! Your attitude makes all the difference in what you experience. Develop a positive, powerful, optimistic attitude. Be bigger than problems.

Life Is Too Short To Worry About Stupid Things – Have Fun

When obstacles and challenges arise think, ‘Bring it! Is that the best you have? I can handle anything!’ Then do it! Go for it. Adjust and continue. Find or create a way. Remain calm and centered. Be the eye of the hurricane. Live life by your terms not someone else’s.

Be grateful. Be happy. Feel delighted and thrilled with the opportunities and blessings that present so you can grow and evolve and become so much better. Steel is hardened by the flame. Diamonds are created under intense heat and pressure.

The kite rises highest against the wind. Accept and utilize what is. Correct and continue. Have fun. Be curious. Be an explorer and an adventurer. Play the game well. Play the game to win and have fun! Enjoy. Be grateful. Feel it! Express it. Celebrate everything!”

You Should Treat Yourself To Some Unconditional Love

“A good habit is to put on positive, inspirational and motivational audios whenever you are driving. It is a great opportunity to feel great, drive safe and learn something of value. Use your time wisely. I hope you enjoyed my audio blog in the last post.

If you haven’t yet listened, be sure to take some time. Today, why not focus on giving to yourself unconditionally. Gift yourself. Accept yourself. Shower yourself with love. Unconditional love. Feel it. Embrace it. You deserve it. If you don’t feel you do, you need it.

Forgive yourself, if you feel you must. Most people have conditions and limits on their love. We don’t have to, but we do. We grew up and learned to behave in certain ways. We learned to feel certain ways about ourselves. We believe ourselves to be certain ways.

Love Is The Absence Of Judgement – Unconditional Love Gives

It is time to let go of that previous conditioning. The way to do it is to treat yourself in loving ways. Be gentle. Be kind. Be open to who you are, and what you think and do, without judgement. Let go of your judgements. Most of them came from other people, anyway.

You are not your thoughts. You are not necessarily who you think you are. In reality you are awesome! You are a resourceful, intelligent, capable, powerful person. You may not have thought so but you are. You are a being of light and goodness. Accept it.

Let your light shine. Reveal yourself to yourself. Allow, accept, and receive yourself. Treat yourself special today. Do something nice for you. Think nice thoughts about yourself. Take yourself out for a good time, a special treat. Go first class if you are able. Treat yourself well.

The Measure Of Love Is To Love Without Measure  Unconditionally

Be glad. Be thankful you are who you are. Enjoy and feel lucky to be you.  Appreciate all of your experiences in shaping you. You have come a long way no matter how old or young. You are a person of great value. Love yourself without limitations. Celebrate yourself. Be filled with gratitude. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Today Is A Day Of Celebration

Today, I celebrate 1000 consecutive, published blog posts! BOOM! If truth be told I have another 208 unpublished drafts sitting in the wings. If you are a reader of my blog, subscriber or follower, please help me celebrate by leaving a comment and a like here today!

I began this blog, years before on Facebook, posting primarily infographics and articles from others. This has been a passion and love of mine for quite some time. I love our ability to evolve and take control of our destiny. I am thrilled we can live our dreams!

Through ups and downs we can manage our thoughts and feelings and actions and create the life and opportunities we desire. We can begin to live life on our terms. I wanted to write and share about it. I wanted to reveal what I have learned in more than 40 years.

What You Think And Feel And What Manifests Is Always A Match

Hopefully, this blog fulfills its purpose; to inspire and help us feel more grateful. Gratitude is so important. It IS the transformational key. When we can feel blessed, no matter what is going on in us or around us, we are transforming ourselves and the world.

I plan to continue the blog, adding positive changes and more value into the future. I have plans for many more things coming up. Some take time to realize. This blog itself will change name and url sometime soon. We’ve been working on it for quite some time.

I thank all my mentors during my life. There have been many in many different fields. Hypnosis and intuition, NLP, accelerated learning, acting and filmmaking, meditation, the science of thought and personal achievement, money management and so much more.

I thank those present in my life and those from ancient times. I am indebted to Napoleon Hill and like-minded thought leaders through time. I am thrilled with all the people I have met, loved, liked and been challenged by during my life-time. I am happy for the struggles.

With that in mind, remember to have fun, delight, stay focused on what you want to create. Build it! Manifest it. Attract it. Make it happen. Have fun, stop trying harder. Start trying smarter. Live, love, laugh, and learn. Feel the goal already achieved. Feel fulfilled.

How To Choose To Be At Peace No Matter What is Going On

“Want some positive relief? Want to feel good today? There are things you can do. Claim control over your own mental attitude. Claim control over your feelings. Stop being a victim of either. Put yourself in charge. Realize now is all you have. Claim your power.

Make the decision that no person, no current event, no situation, no place or thing can annoy you or irritate you. Decide you will remain at peace. Be the eye of the storm. Remain calm and centered no matter what. Decide not to focus on the crap. Focus on the good.

Focus on being enough. Focus on feeling fine. Focus on enjoying the moment. Look for the silver linings. Look for what is good and new that you can appreciate and enjoy. Seek to discover the opportunities surrounding you. From chaos stars are born!

What I Learned From The Cold And Flu That You Can Too

“What happens to most of us when we get a cold or flu? We get symptoms, body aches and pains. It can be an uncomfortable time. Bottom line, we hurt. What actually is happening during this time is our body is fighting the infection, working to heal.

My household got sick. It is plenty tough for each person. I noticed something I have noticed each time I have been ill in my life. Our thoughts, mine sure did, focus on what is wrong. We pay attention to what isn’t right. It is certainly natural because it is not the norm.

For many of us, we not only focus on what is wrong but we talk about it. When asked, we tell others we don’t feel good. Some people can get very descriptive. This only focuses attention on it all the more. Again, we become aware of what feels different from normal.

Let Go Of Negativity – Focus On The Good – What’s Not Wrong

It isn’t wrong. Get that out of your head if you are thinking that. Pain is a signal the body needs to, or is, attending to some things. So, if you find your thoughts going to ‘woe is me’ don’t feel bad or guilty about it. However, I’d like to point something out.

For the most part, a cold or flu is over within a few weeks. Ultimately, you will feel better soon. Some strains, nowadays seem to endure much longer but the bottom line is you will get well. You are in the process of getting well while you are suffering. This is important.

I noticed my thoughts tend to go to what is wrong too. This time, each time, I noticed that occurring I shifted to what feels good or right. What I can do as opposed to what is wrong or what I can’t do. I emphasize the things I can do and am grateful for. It works, too!

What You Say Is What You Get – Affirm What You Want

I can breathe. I can sit. I can move. I can speak. I can think. I can see. I can hear. I can feel. I can sleep. I can eat. I am alive. I can plan. I am able to rest. I can read. I can watch movies. I can listen to audios. There is so much I am so lucky I can do each day. I am blessed now!

It does work wonders. I am not saying I have no discomfort, but it is  an important learning point we can all benefit from. Many things in life can be wrong or uncomfortable. We can, and do, have challenges each day. These draw our attention away from normal.

If we focus on them, they don’t get any better. If we focus on how and why our relationship is broken, how lonely we are, how much debt we have, how much we aren’t where we should be, how we aren’t enough or undeserving, or how much life sucks, guess what?

When You Focus On The Good – The Good Gets Better

We continue to perpetuate it. Ultimately, it might get better. Things usually do in time but we keep it going with what and how we think about it. It is natural, it is painful. Our attention is drawn to it, just like when we get ill. Perhaps, similarly, it is a way for us to heal.

Perhaps, the challenges, the disappointments, and the less than glorious feelings are there because within we are attempting to heal, to correct, to get over these and move forward, but our thoughts keep us locked in, at least temporarily, but it seems as if forever.

What we focus on we get more of. Illness is a prime time to learn to shift focus. I am not saying it is easy at first. As with any skill you get good at eventually, it takes practice and conditioning. Still, it is an opportunity to learn to grow and make things better for oneself.

Focus On The Good – Let Go Of The Bad – Life Is Too Short Not To

Gratitude works wonders in all cases. That shift of focus can be miraculous. When challenged look for the positive, the good, that which you are able to do, feel grateful for and enjoy. Emphasize these as much as possible. As within, so without. Focus.

It makes a difference for ourselves in our personal experience. I believe it can also make a difference in our social, political, economic areas as well. If we can draw our attention to what feels good, and is working, we can better find solutions. We can help changes occur.

Exercise: Find all that is right, and good, in the photo at the top. Meanwhile, drink plenty of water.  When ill, stay hydrated. It is also a great time to get rest. It is a break in normal activities. If you can appreciate that too, you are further ahead. Appreciate anything and everything you can. It works wonders. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

“Today, accept yourself. Realize you are perfect as you are. You do not have to prove yourself to anyone. You are just right, neither too much or to little. You have all the resources you need already within. Inside of you is buried treasure and it’s time you claim it. Now!

Since you don’t have to prove yourself to anyone go through your day at peace. Choose to let things go. Don’t let anything or anyone annoy you, frustrate you or irritate you. Stay at peace. Stay calm. Stay centered. Be the eye of the hurricane. Feel at ease. Do it.

Success in anything is an inside job. Your happiness, health in mind and body, your wealth and accomplishments, and how you get along with others all begins first inside you. Your thoughts determine how you feel, and your actions. So keep positive, peaceful thoughts.

Live As If This Is All There Is – You Get What You Focus On – Enjoy

Forgive if you must. Learn to drop issues instantly. Breathe, take a breath or two or ten if need be and find your center. The easiest way to remain calm and peaceful is to realize everything and everyone in your life is a blessing to help you grow through ease or struggle.

Feel blessed to have them in and around you. Count your blessings. Concentrate on the different ways you are already happy, healthy, and wealthy. Find the good within you, in your life and within others. Be grateful. Express appreciation silently and out loud to others.

Focus on what you have. Focus on what makes you delighted. Let go of anything else. Allow yourself to enjoy this day. Celebrate this day, your family, your friends, your work, your play, your life and you! Let today be an adventure. Fill yourself with childlike wonder. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Keep The Faith During Turbulent Times

“Times can be difficult. You or your family may endure hardship. Your neighborhood or city may be going though troubled times. Your country or the world. It can be environmental, financial, societal, or political. There are all manner of challenges and obstacles. It is true.

Whatever your burden; whatever your political persuasion; whatever your religious persuasion; whatever you  fears and concerns for the moment are, keep this in mind; THIS TOO will pass! Perhaps, not as quickly or in the manner you want, but it will.

Be patient, stay clam, fight the good fight civilly (in other words don’t give up because times may be tough) and allow for yourself to be pleasantly surprise. Don’t rain on other people’s parade to save your own. Help each other all be better off. Work as a team to improve.

Just Breathe – Have Faith Everything Will Work Out For The Best

If disappointed, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and continue to persevere. Always remember the pendulum swings both ways. Time is the great leveler and the great healer. Optimism and hope and love and peace are better than negativity, fear, hate and war. Forgive.

Build something better. Don’t lose hope. Keep the faith. Nothing lasts forever. The kite rises highest against the wind. Our challenges, obstacles and problems teach us lessons if we are open. They make us better and stronger. We develop muscle and strength. We win!

If we stop worrying and learn from these tough lessons we will be able to accomplish more of what we want in the future. Live and let live. Learn and grow. Laugh off the difficulties and be larger than the problems facing you! Keep the faith! A better day truly is ahead!

Let Go A Little And Just Let Life Happen – Relax And Have Faith

Focus on the good you want to bring about. Stop concentrating on what is wrong. Look at the solutions and work to make those happen. Appreciate what you already have right now. Never give in or lose faith. Focus on reason to be grateful and glad. Persevere.

Positive thinking IS NOT thinking ‘there are no weeds, there are no weeds.’  It is the systematic application of strong productive thoughts to resolve any difficulty and move ahead. Think the best so you feel the best. You are more resourceful at the top of your game.

This is why you want to learn to manage your thoughts and feelings You want to have control of your thinking, your mind, any time,  but especially in tough times. In order to be able to do that you need to practice and practice to build the skill. Make it a habit. Only you can.

If Things Haven’t Worked Out Yet – It Is Not Yet The End

Then when the going is tough you are prepared. Without opposition you don’t grow strong. Welcome difficulty for how it can make you a better person if you learn while going through it. Practice gratitude and positive thinking. Focus on the good. Focus on all you can appreciate. It makes a real difference when you celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Universe Abhors Desperate People Just Like You!

“Have you ever dated a person who was needy, desperate and clingy. It really isn’t much fun is it? They may tend to be doubtful, fearful, always checking asking, ‘you love me right?’ Sadly, their insecurity and need to be needed or wanted often drives us or others away.

Have you ever known or been with any one like that? Have YOU ever been like that? I mention this because that same uncomfortableness occurs with the Law Of Attraction (LOA). Consider this; your neediness is actually keeping what you want away. It prevents you.

Sometimes we want something so bad; a relational partner; a career; fame; fortune; a better job; to get out of debt; a new car; that we don’t get it precisely because we DO need it. It may seem counterintuitive, but we actually push away what we want to attract.

Change Your Thoughts And You Change You And The World

That’s why I started this blog post with a provocative title and dating question. If it makes you uncomfortable to be with a person who is desperate, perhaps, it makes the universe uncomfortable as well. For demonstrating my point I personify the universe AS an example.

I don’t think it is the universe or god not letting you have it because you want it but that your energy, instead of attracting and creating it, actually holds it at bay. Neediness tends to repel people. So, perhaps, it is the same with anything we desperately want. Get it?

The idea is to focus on what you want. Desire it intently. Want it badly as a preference but don’t need it. Be able to be okay without it. Be happy if it shows up or doesn’t. When you are feeling that way, vibrating that way, it has a better chance of coming to you. Get it?

Don’t Believe Everything You Think – Choose Thoughts Wisely 

Don’t we get annoyed with demanding, inpatient, petulant people who demand it must be this way and now? Aren’t we put off by people who are needy, clingy and desperate? Worriers bother us. So become a champion attractor and creator instead. Resolve to do it.

Know what you want. Want it. Learn to be totally and completely happy whether or not it shows up. How? This IS the art of learning to manifest what you want by being grateful. Be happy with what you already have. All of it! The good and not so good. Find the blessings!

Focus on the good in everything. Find the positive side to your troubles, challenges, situations and bothersome people. Live with zest, zeal, passion and enthusiasm. Be thankful for all of it. When you are you have a different quality about you. You vibrate differently.

Happiness Doesn’t Bring Gratitude – Gratitude Brings Happiness

You are happy and fun filled. You exude good feelings and positive thoughts and expectations. You know things will ultimately work out for the best no matter what. You have faith. You believe. You are certain. You take action and work to make your dreams come true.

You live qualitatively different right now! In doing so you open up your own neurology to take better advantage of opportunity you might otherwise miss. I’ve discussed this many times before. The brain’s job is to find matches with what we already believe. It works.

You can transform your life when you start living as a victor instead of a victim. Stop losing out and start winning by adopting that winning feeling first. You have to believe you are going to win in order to actually win. Once you do you open up grand doorways.

How You Vibrate Is What The Universe Echoes Back To You

The Secret is to live with passion. Be grateful. Delight in the tiniest moments. Make your problems mole hills and reframe them as lessons and opportunities. Put fear and doubt and need into the past. Be thrilled. Be excited. Be thankful. Be expressive AND celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

It’s Already Here: You Don’t Have To Look Far To Find It!

“You are already complete. Ancient mystics and philosophers have told us this forever. We are missing nothing within. Yes, we think we are but the truth is we already have everything we need or want. In Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP) we have a tenant that states:

You have all the resources already within you to make any change. Some people don’t believe that but those who do WILL discover the truth of that statement. When we think we are limited in any way, we are. When we think we have everything we need, we actually do.

We’ll uncover those resources, become more creative, more aware and more apt to discover and notice those resources whenever we need them or want them. The Reticular Activation System of our brain finds those matches within and without us. It works this way.

You Are Already That Which You Seek – Accept And Allow It

It works, but only for those who are open to it. If you are closed you don’t know what you miss. It’s no different than standing before a closed door you’ve never stood before; you don’t know what’s on the other side. How could you? You can’t. You don’t have access.

But if the door is open you can see what’s there. You can enter and explore. Being open to possibilities is the same. The more open and available you are, the more you can discover and benefit. Staying open is the trick. Let go of beliefs that don’t support and limit you.

You already have it all. You simply have to learn to accept this. Once you begin to accept it you will begin to experience it. As you experience it, the more you do, the more you will. When you accept and believe there are no limitations you become free.

Be Silent And Listen The Inspiration You Seek Is Within You

The freer you become the more free you become. The easier it is to manifest. The more you manifest the better you get at it. Everything is similar to a muscle. It grows with use. It begins with acceptance. It begins by dropping negativity, doubt and defeat. It begins with trust.

It begins by accepting your true resourceful, abundant nature. It begins by accepting yourself as a creator, and attractor. It begins by claiming your power. It comes with recognizing who you are and what you are able to do. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper.

Stop telling old defeatist stories about lack and defeat. Start telling stories about love, happiness and success. Make it so. You don’t wait for it. YOU do it. Discover who you are. Drop inside and get acquainted with the true you. You are divine. You are incredible.

Be Still – The Answers You Seek Come When You’re Quiet

Accept it and live it. Feel it. Experience it. Remember it. IT is who you already are. Appreciate it. Be grateful. Live it. Savor it. Expand it. Allow it and receive it. Encourage it. Celebrate it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Today, while working dealing with the event things I needed to get some holiday food shopping done. I did some banking and drove to a grocery store. Went in, came out, tried to drive away. I didn’t get as far as the exit driveway when I realized I had a flat tire. I pulled over.

It was snowing some. The parking lot very busy. I drove the car over to a side lane, out of the way as much as I could get and put on the emergency flashers. My first thoughts were along the lines of ‘crap, I don’t need this.’ It was very brief and I laughed. Then I realized.

Life Is Like A Camera Lens Focus Only On What Is Important

Of course, I don’t, but perhaps I do. Who can actually say what is needed? Perhaps, this is exactly what is needed. I don’t know. I then thought, ‘okay bring it. I can handle this. It doesn’t matter what is going on, where I might need to be, the holidays, nothing. It is okay.’

‘I am bigger than my problems. Bring it on. Thank you’. Whatever is going on will work out for good. Now, a flat isn’t that big of a deal but in my past, I have been pretty aggravated over getting one. I called for a tow. Normally, a lengthy on the phone process was short today.

I was told a truck would be there within an hour. That was good. Normally, they tell me 45 minutes unless there are other circumstances. I sat in the car for about 20 minutes feeling grateful and knowing some good ultimately will come of this. Watching snow.

Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff – It Is All Small Stuff

I got out. Went back into the store, told them, that car with the flashers on is mine, I am waiting for a tow, incase someone complained. My phone rings. The tow truck arrived and is at my car. Less than 20 minutes later I am on the road. Donut spare on the car.

I call the tire company from the road and tell them. They say they can’t promise anything but will try to work me in. Bring the car by. I attempt to notify others and it occurs to me I can drop the tire and have it fixed and later return with the car for them to put it on.

We do. I chat with gentleman at repair store. I leave, go home. Unload groceries. I had just bought set of four within the month. Actually, I bought eight within eleven months. I’d had trouble with the other brand of tires and just replaced them all. The store closed.

Life Can Be Hard Sometimes We Make It Harder Than It Actually Is

They still have the tire. I am mobile. I got a call with a bad news good news which do you want first. Turns out tire can’t be repaired. They don’t have one in stock BUT they can get one and the tire will be replaced for free. Good deal. Tomorrow my tire should be fixed.

Meanwhile, I am mobile and they don’t have my car over night. So what is good? Who knows? Why did it happen? Who knows? I don’t care. What does it mean? Again, don’t have a clue? BUT it is okay. AND I didn’t lose it. I was calm, centered and actually grateful.

Everything seemed to happen much more quickly than normal. Was that because I was and am grateful? I don’t know. People are faced with difficulties all day long. We had a pretty big ‘not so glorious experience’ yesterday. How would I rate this one? Not so bad, really.

Dreams Can Come True – Expect The Best – Say What You Want

In contrast, very minor. However, in my past this might have been the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Even though the event isn’t a big deal, it’s a flat, I may have stressed about it and complained about it and been mad about it. You know what I mean, right?

Today, I could laugh and it didn’t get to me. Yesterday, while serious and not what anyone might call a good thing was a good thing. How? I don’t know fully, yet? Already, however I am seeing evidences of how it is. It has been an amazing couple of days. And 99.5% is good.

Attitude does make an incredible difference. I am not suggesting I never stress out. I am sharing with you my responses over the past two days.  Life is good. I love my life. Shit happens. I still love my life. The more I do the better it gets. Shit may still happen. It is all okay.

Happiness Is A Decision – You Get To Choose Each Moment

I continue learn and realize to it isn’t about what happens. It is all about how I respond to what happens and how I take charge of myself. I can be in charge of me but I can’t control the externals. I don’t actually want to anyway. The more I am grateful the better it is.

The externals will be whatever they will be. My creation, my attraction, predestined or haphazardly random. It will be as it will be. I have learned it is what it is. However, I can adjust and continue. I can call the moment whatever I want. What I say IS what I get.

If I call it bad then it is. If I call it good then it is. Others may or may not agree, but for me, it is what I say it is. I am not making rules for others either. Their declarations determine their experiences. If I can share anything, a learning, it is be grateful. Love it all. Embrace it.

Live Simply – Dream Big – Be Grateful – Give Love – Laugh Lots

Everything does change with gratitude. It doesn’t mean magically you get a new tire. Perhaps, it does. I mean yes, maybe it does sometimes or all the times. You decide. I know living with gratitude for everything is transformational. It changes ME! I determine my experience. I love my life. 99.5% is good. That is where I choose to focus. You can too.
