How You Could Be Feeling You Should Be Feeling

“People live as victims of their brains and their feelings. They think because they ‘think and feel’ certain things, they are real and immutable. The fact is, they are only thoughts and feelings, electro-chemical reactions that only last about 90 seconds at most.

We perpetuate them by what we do after the experience. We add to the thoughts or feelings. Neurons that fire together, wire together. Birds of a feather flock together. We think more thoughts that create more thoughts and feelings that create more of the same.

It cycles down into negativity and more of the same feelings. Of course, it could cycle up if your thoughts and feelings are optimistic and positive. Herein is your choice. Whenever, you notice the sensations aren’t what you want you have opportunity to change.

The More You Do The More You Can Do – Apply Your Knowledge

Whether you do or not is completely up to you. You may not have done so much in your past. You may have just lived as a victim. If you want to change then you must change some things. You can’t do the same thing repeatedly and expect to be different. Yet, most do.

You must shift away from the less than glorious thoughts and feelings and choose positive ones to focus on. Break up the pattern. Dance, sing, put on some rousing music. Work in the garden. Run, jog, do anything else but what you already repeatedly do. Get it?

Break it up. Take some deep breaths and think different thoughts. Shout them out loud with confidence and enthusiasm. If the military can train people in about 6 weeks you can train yourself. Just, change your thinking and feeling whenever you become aware.

Skill Comes Of Doing – You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You

Do it today. Your life will transform when you do. If you do nothing expect nothing to change. How To Take Charge And Build Success Habits That Work!

“In order to get to subconscious mastery, unconscious competence, we must first apply conscious will and direction. We must first set the mental intentions, make decisions, and follow through in practicing and repeating these. You don’t get good doing nothing.

Present conditions are always the result of previous thoughts, feelings and actions. We create out future in advance then it comes to fruition, just as we plant a seed and then later harvest. In order to get good at manifesting what you want you must practice it first.

You don’t get good merely reading about it. You don’t get good at it only by thinking about it. You must feel it as you think about it. To get good at any sport you must engage in it repeatedly, and feel the good feelings, as you advance in it. You get better by positive repetition.

Take Charge Now – Whatever You Want To Do With Ease…

As you feel good, you want to do more. The more you do the better you feel. The more you feel good and repeat what you are doing for a long enough time builds positive success  habits. You are taking your conscious skill and wiring it into your unconscious.  Get it?

Do it correctly and you become it. First, decide to be it. Then affirm and visualize it with great positive feeling and enthusiasm. It is not enough to think or say, ‘I feel strong.’ You should feel the feelings of strength and declare it powerfully. Be genuine and honestly feel it.

That is how you make thoughts work. It may seem stiff or unreal at first but you will get better at it. Anything you first learned seemed, at first, impossible. Still, you accomplished it and got better if you properly stuck with it. If you gave up and quit, certainly you didn’t.

… You Must First Do With Diligence – Take Charge Now

Mastery comes through application and nothing else. Build positive success and happiness habits. Use this proven system for making positive powerful changes. Create your best life ever because the only person who can do it for you is you. Understand this!

Neurons that fire together wire together. When you deliberately choose to create you success, and you continue to follow through as necessary, creates new positive neural pathways in your brain. You make the changes more easily. Your inner resources work together.

You are already successful at what you don’t want. You got there this very same way. Whatever you focused on, whatever problems plagued you, were reinforced by your thoughts and feelings through time. Use the same system to now make positive changes instead!

You Are Making The Unconscious Conscious And Vice Versa

You already know how to do it. Now apply it. If you do not take charge you will forever remain the same until you do. It is silly to think you would be otherwise. If conditions suck it is up to you to learn how to change them and triumph over them. Get it?

The reason gratitude is so important is it is a marvelous high vibe positive feeling. The more often you feel it deliberately the more you begin to master it. Fill your life with positive good feelings, happiness and success by looking for and recounting these frequently every day. Discover that all is a blessing and ALL will be a blessing. You Can Manifest Anything You Want

“Once you develop unconscious competence, when you gain mastery over your mindset, you make success a habit and you live automatically from success habits. Still, you remain conscious and aware in each moment. Success mastery starts within you.

What You Believe Can Kill You! Ask Mr. Wright. Ooops, You Can’t He Is Dead.

“The Placebo Effect states simply, if you believe something will benefit you, then it’s possible, and likely, it will. The Nocebo Effect states simply, if you think it will harm you, or have no effect, then it’s possible, and likely, it will. These effects  are well researched.

There is a famous real-life story about the placebo effect and Mr Wright. I shared this in an earlier blog post a while back. Mr. Wright believed a drug his doctor could get would save him based on what he read about in the press. His doctor administered a placebo.

The doctor told him he was getting the medicine he thought would help. His condition improved. Later, he read in the newspaper the ‘miracle drug’ didn’t work. His condition deteriorated. His doctor convinced him otherwise and his condition again improved.

You Are Today Where Your Thoughts Have Brought You

Later, he read the drug was a hoax. He died. Both the Placebo and Nocebo effect were at work. They are always at work about everything. We are always thinking. It isn’t just in medicine, but that is where the effect became obviously known. Look it up.

People have believed in all sorts of things and found help. Lourdes, amulets, faith healers, Voodoo healing and Voodoo curses, the Evil Eye. The list is endless. If you believe a food or practice is healthy for you it is likely it can be, even if it isn’t. Your beliefs may make it so.

If you believe it is harmful, it too, can be likely, even if it isn’t. If you believe it will add weight to you or help you shed pounds, then too, it is possible. It is all about what you believe! Nothing is locked in stone. Our beliefs determine our reality more than the other way.

You Will Be Tomorrow Where Your Thoughts Take You

I am not suggesting you can or should do anything believing the opposite. It is about what you actually, truly. already believe is or isn’t possible. Snake handlers have demonstrated success and failure with this concept of faith. Don’t test your faith this way. It’s stupid.

Be wise about it. If you decide you will only eat sugar laden chocolate cake and that it will be healthy for you and you will lose weight, it is possible. It may or may not be likely so don’t be surprised if it works or doesn’t. Don’t try to make a sows ear into a silk purse.

If you are surprised it works you didn’t believe it to begin with. If it doesn’t work, you may not have actually believed that it would. You won’t fly believing you can, so don’t walk off a high ledge. That isn’t what this effect is about. Still, it can powerfully assist you.

You Cannot Escape The Power Of Your Thoughts

It can assist you in healing and in accomplishing your goals when you believe you are able to and will. Mindset first and foremost, then everything else can fall in place. Placebo works well together with medicine that works and Nocebo works against the same medicine.

This revolves around one of my favorite, and most powerful, quotes by Henry Ford, ‘If you think you can or you think you can’t you are right.’ What you believe tends to determine how far you will go. If you believe you can, then it is possible, but it isn’t written in stone.

You still have to make it happen. However, if you believe you can’t then you may not even bother to attempt it. Get it? You determine your future by how you think about it. You determine your past and present in the very same manner. What you believe matters!

Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge

Whatever IS, is up to you. This is why I say consider everything a blessing because things can change when you do. Get it? Anything and everything is always up to you! No one else, but you! You determine whether you will make something happen. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Are Governed By What You Don’t Know!

“Not everything is the same. Some things matter far more than other things. ‘Well, yes’, you say, ‘that’s obvious.’ BUT is it? Some things that are truly important, and run the show, are those things we aren’t aware of. We are governed by what we don’t know.

Not all thoughts are equal. Some are random thoughts that come and go. It is the ongoing, chronic thoughts inside, and outside, of your awareness that have the power. What are you thinking that you are not aware of? What do you repeatedly think day in and day out?

It is these thoughts that make the difference. Since, at least, the early 90’s I have pointed out that we think about 65,000 thoughts a day. Upwards of 90%, some estimate between 95-99%, of those thoughts are the same today as we thought yesterday. Imagine that.

We First Make Our Habits – Then Our Habits Make Us

There’s not much in the way of new thinking in us, is there?  You can’t track 65,000 thoughts. Most operate unconsciously, subconsciously outside of your awareness but happen reliably, automatically just the same. These are habitual thoughts. Chronically negative, too.

Habitual thoughts determine our reality. Right this instant we are right where our thoughts have brought us. Tomorrow, we’ll be where our thoughts take us. If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got. You will be the same tomorrow.

Unless you change your thinking!  If, on a scale of 1-10 your life is a ten, then you should keep doing what you are doing. However, if you are off by any number, you might want to change some things and change your life for the better. It is the only way to change!

What Unconsciously Consumes Your Mind Controls You Life

Why the photo above? The water looks lovely. In the water are countless living organisms we can’t see. They are there, living, but we don’t know. There is lots of other stuff hidden in the depths of the water. The water is teeming with things unknown and unseen.

Your habits govern you. Subconscious, chronic limited thinking keeps you limited. You must uncover, release and let go your negative thinking. You must shift your conscious, and unconscious thinking, to be mostly positive and powerful. Can’t stay the same.

You need positive, supportive thought habits. If you aren’t living the life you want, I want to help you create your best life, ever. That is why I write this blog and conduct seminars, workshops and training. You must learn to control and manage your thoughts and feelings.

You Can’t Control Behaviors If You Can’t Control Your Thoughts

When calamity, or bad situation, occurs it triggers old memories, associations, and negative neural-net habits of thought, feeling and action. You must change these to be better. You want triggers to release good, positive, powerful thoughts instead of the bad.

Gratitude is a wonderful place to begin. Become thankful for everything. Focus on gratitude. Increase it. Be thankful. Express it. Speak it and write it. Think about it and delight. Join me in deciding to make your life the best life ever. Start now. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
