Don’t Miss Solutions While Focused On Problems

“You’ve gone through some tough times. Tough times are made tough by what we see, hear and think. They are also tough because of what we don’t see, hear and think. We focus on some aspects while entirely missing other aspects.

What we miss could be critical to our success. What we aren’t thinking about or considering MAY be the key to everything else. Yet, we miss it because of where we put our attention. You’ve heard it said, ‘energy flows where attention goes’. It does work that way.

Napoleon Hill had this to say. ‘Every adversity carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit. Pain, failure, setbacks, defeats, losses – misfortunes we must all suffer – are simply part of the human condition. No one wins all the time.’

Difficult Roads Often Lead To Beautiful Destinations

‘Those who succeed are those who do not let adversity stop them. They persevere. They view hardships as tests that permit them to build their strength to even greater dimensions and carry on. Remember this critical point:

Defeat is never the same as failure unless it has been accepted as such.’  I think it is important to embody this quote and take it to heart. Commit it to memory. Persevere. Build your strength to greater dimensions. Carry on. Don’t accept failure. Keep going.

Learn from the lessons. Learn to look for the seed of equivalent or greater benefit in all hardship and difficulty. Don’t miss it! Too many people do. While focused on the problems they miss everything else that could be a solution or opportunity. They focus on the negative.

It Is All In How You Look At It – Believing Is Seeing

Learn to recognize opportunity and benefit even while in the midst of the storm. Problems can be blessings if you view them as such. Consider them opportunities to learn and practice new things. Consider them challenges to test your strength. Accept the tests!

As you do these things you learn how to control your mind and manage your thoughts and feelings. Don’t give up because your feelings are hurt. Don’t quit because you think lousy thoughts. Seek to excel. Find the best and adhere to that. Keep moving forward!

Develop you will and your initiative. Stop making excuses and blaming others or circumstances. If you don’t like the circumstances change your response.  In fact, change circumstances to serve you. Exercise your will. Make things happen. Be courageous and be bold.

Tough Times Don’t Last Tough People Do

Be positive and move forward. Find the good in everything and be glad. Be happy and be grateful. Collect the wins and feel successful. Success breeds success. Happiness  attracts more happiness. Gratitude opens the door for so much more. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Make Things Happen By Pacing Reality

“So, you wanted to manifest some things; money, ideal weight, the perfect relationship, harmony with family, whatever it is. The issue is you just didn’t believe you could do it. Or you didn’t believe it was possible for you. If that is the case you may want to implement this.

The issue you have is doubt. You doubt it will happen for you or that you can make it happen. I’ll be one of the first to say, ‘yup, it isn’t going to just happen for you’, but YOU can MAKE IT happen. Yet, you still don’t believe that, perhaps. You have tried affirmations.

You’ve tried visualization and you just haven’t made it work, yet. The reason again, is belief. If you doubt it and don’t believe you can do it what you ARE creating and attracting is more of the same doubt. Do you understand this? You have to change what you are doing.

Believe You Can And You Are HalfWay There

One of the things that does work is to pace reality. This means you describe what is ongoing and observable. I am sitting in a chair, typing on the computer. That is what Rex is doing. You are reading these words.  Beyond that Rex doesn’t know but you do.

You know where you are, the place and what it looks like. You know the temperature, the time of day. You know if you are sitting, standing or lying down. If you’re at home, work or on a train, plane or bus. Get it? You can describe your reality. Okay, okay that is pacing.

That is pacing the ongoing reality of your moment. That’s fine, but we are going to pace in another way, instead. We are going to pace the world at large, in general. For example, you think that you could never make enough money or become debt free. You can affirm this:

Believe That You Can Do It And You Will Do It

‘There are many people in the world who began with nothing. More people have made fortunes than have inherited them. Everyone begins somewhere. It may have been difficult for them too, but they did it. Right now someone just became wealthy! Someone did it.’

People are getting rich and making fortunes everyday. There is plenty of money going around. Billions and billions of dollars are exchanging hands each second. Just now someone received a large amount of money. Someone just received a big check.

More people are learning how to manage their money and make fortunes. There are lot’s of people creating wealth in today’s market. People find and win money too. Plenty of people are really good with money. If it is possible for some of them all of them probably could.’

Encourage Yourself And Encourage Others – You First

Here is the point. You want to uncover what is going on in the world. Plenty of people are eating well and maintaining their ideal weight. There are lots of people from all backgrounds and families who are healthy in spite of genetics. There are people right now meeting others, on dates, and falling in love. Everywhere in the world.

It is all going on right now. If it is possible for them it can be possible for you too. If, when you read these thoughts, you feel a bit more hopeful that is a good thing. You want to learn that you too can be part of the success crowd. Sometimes our focus is too narrow.

Especially when it comes to thoughts that limit us. We sometimes think we are alone, only we have this issue. Or anyone with the problems we have are doomed. Well, there are plenty of examples in the world of people with less doing more. If they can you can.

What We Want To Do With Ease We Must First Do With Diligence

Use the pacing of reality to create a window of opportunity for you. Pace the world in this way so that you learn it is possible and that it is going on. From there you can begin to learn to do what others do as well. ‘Others made money. They started from nothing. I can too.’

‘I can begin to learn to manage my money and create wealth.’ From there you can affirm, ‘I am learning to manage my money and create wealth. I enjoy learning. As I learn I become more able to do the things I want. I feel confident I can being to make more money too.’

You pace the world, and yourself. Then you lead yourself one stepping stone at a time down the path of least resistance. You pace and lead yourself into more easily and readily believing you can do it. When you believe you can then it becomes possible and more likely.

Step By Step You Make Your Way – It Is  A Journey Not A Race

Without the belief in yourself you won’t. Believe in yourself and that it is possible and you can learn to do anything. You really can begin to make your dreams come true. Stop resisting and start assisting yourself in moving forward. Step by step. Pace yourself into it.

IT WORKS! You can free yourself from years of defeatist limited thinking by pacing your way out of it. You really can. Of course, you actually have to do the work. Once you implement it , stick with it until a new reality is yours. It takes whatever time it takes.

If you want to be a success you need some skin in the game. What are you willing to pay or give up to succeed. Are you willing to keep at it until you win. If you truly are you will. If you quit you will have succeeded in quitting. Stop quitting and start winning. DO IT! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Put A Guard Dog On Your Lips

“Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Don’t waste time or energy or risk creating more of what you don’t want by reliving it over and over by retelling it. Have the sense to let it go. If it sucked, that is what was. Now get over it and get on. Think something else.

Find the good. Learn self control. Direct your thoughts and energy and feelings elsewhere that will bring you the good you want instead of the bad you don’t or didn’t. You learn to control your thinking for so you are able to create what you want more of in life.

What you want more of FOCUS on. What you don’t want stop focusing on it. Let it go. Leave it alone. Think differently about it. Control you thinking, your words, your feelings and your actions. Become the master of them instead of their servant.

Clear Your Mind Of Can’t – Devote Your Mind To I Can

Run your brain don’t be run by it. Determine what you want, and who you want to be and create it. Create yourself to be the person you want to be. Choose wisely, because some aren’t so smart. Cultivate Patience

“People hate to wait. Don’t you? I have, that is for sure. What I have learned however is how you wait is important. You can burn or you can enjoy. If you can’t do anything about it you can learn to respond differently. Some people get bent all out of shape.

They say wisdom is knowing the difference between those things you can change and those you can’t. If you can’t change it; chill. You can’t do anything about it. Huffing and puffing won’t help. It will only agitate you and create more stress. You’ll  stress out others too.

Relax and let go. If you are stuck in traffic you ARE stuck in traffic. That is what is. Use it to say affirmations, relax, focus on the positive. Instead, most people focus on how they will be late and how that is bad. Yes, it may be but you can’t change it right now.

Patience Is About How You Behave While You Wait

Use your time productively instead of destructively. Relax, enjoy and go with the flow. Deal with the results when it is time. Don’t worry and fret in advance. You won’t change it that way either. In fact. you may only attract and create more  turbulence. Learn to wait! Patience IS a virtue. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Start A Wow Diary

“There is another practice you will want to engage in that brings about great delight. As with any of these approaches you only get as much in return as you are willing to put into them. If you invest in this practice, plant the seed and nurture it you will reap a bounty.

If you dabble or do little or nothing don’t expect much to be different or great results. The Law Of Attractions states like attracts like. You get back what you put out, or in this case, into it. Dedicate yourself, commit to it, and you can expect a good return. You’ll have to trust.

Trust until you try it. Once you prove it to yourself by seeing it through you will want to keep doing it and encourage others to as well. So what is this approach? Keep a WOW diary. Yup, start and keep a WOW diary. What on earth is that, you ask. It is simple.

When You Are Thankful For The Little Things They Aren’t So Little

In this diary or journal you notate, or keep track of all the times something great and unexpected happens. It may be big or small. Especially notate all the small ones. Most people miss those waiting for the big ones. You find a penny. Pick it up! Do a happy dance.

Thank the universe! Make a big deal out of it. BE HAPPY. Why? Because, as you do this, you train your brain to look for more pennies. Not only more pennies, but more money. You provide great signal strength when you make it a big celebration.

You are informing your brain, your RAS, to be on the look out for money. So when you make a big deal out of finding money, in any amount, you are even more likely to find more of it. Some people are so tuned into money they find it all the time. You can too.

Appreciate The Little Things – There Are Many

Celebrate whenever something good happens. You get some good news, a letter or a phone call. Shout hooray. Do your happy dance. You get a discount at a store, or an unexpected extra discount move those feet and shake those hips. Happy dance around!

Unexpected, coupons arrive in the mail to help you save money, be happy! Stay happy. Celebrate those free samples you get in the mail and in the stores. Savor those tasty treats in supermarkets as gifts from the divine just for you! Say yes. Accept all. Receive these!

If someone wants to take you to lunch or dinner. Don’t say no, you shouldn’t say ‘THANKS That would be great!’ When good things happen say thanks. Receive it. Most people stumble around and say, ‘you really shouldn’t’ when people want to do nice things for them.

Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems

We have been conditioned to think we don’t deserve it. We are conditioned to think a penny isn’t money or worth much. We do deserve it and it’s all worth it! Condition yourself to find the good wherever you are. Make it a habit to say YES to the universe!

Celebrate the expected and unexpected good as it arrives. Write it in a journal. ‘I found a penny! Hooray!’ ‘Today these great things happened to me!’ Linger in those wonderful  moments. Create the positive, high vibration and LOUD signal value to inform your brain.

‘MORE! Bring me more good!’ Your brain doesn’t know or care whether it is a penny or a million dollars. It only cares about the feelings you have. Attach good feelings to the things that happen to you! Celebrate finding money whatever the denomination! Get it?

One Day You’ll Look Back And The Little Things Were Big Things

It doesn’t care whether you visualize a happy future or see it in reality. The brain doesn’t know the difference. If you worry or have bad circumstances the brain doesn’t know or care, it only responds to the feelings you are generating. BAD! Yuck! Give MORE!

To the brain it is all one and the same. It doesn’t care whether you are happy or sad. It will give you whatever you ARE. So what are you most of the time? How are you feeling? What are you thinking? It will return to you whatever you focus on.

This is why some people seem cursed while others seem blessed. Focus determines what the energy is. If you are focused on your problems you get more problems. Focus on blessings and get more blessings! It really is a no-brainer. It is that simple!

I Am Grateful – Thankful – Blessed – And Happy 

Some people worry and fret and think, ‘nothing good ever happens for me’. Their brain will continue to prove that to them. Others feel blessed and lucky all the time. Their brain proves that for them. Whatever you predominantly feel is what you get back more of.

Want good in your life. Be happy and celebrate everything. Feel incredible and more will come your way. Feel bad and more funk occurs. Haven’t you ever noticed this? Whatever you want you can have. It is all up to you. Attitude determines your altitude.

Develop a happy, powerful, positive winner attitude and watch your life change. DO it today. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Focus On The Present To Create The Future

“Would you like to enjoy life much more? Would you prefer life be more like a graduation party and less like a pity party? It can be if you do some simple things. The first thing you must do is decide to take charge of your life and run it instead of being run by events.

It is your life. Imagine you created it all just for yourself. All the good and all the bad you designed it just for you. Whether it is true or not isn’t the point. It is a useful frame of mind to adopt that can make a difference in how much enjoyment you experience.

If you are doing it to you and for your benefit then whatever happens is good. Right? Good AND bad. Okay, we have discussed this before. It bears repeating. Everything can be a blessing. Most people miss this. In fact, most people miss most things.

Celebrate What You Want To See More Of

They live as if wearing blinders. You need to see. You need to sensitize yourself and become more aware. Really, you do. We all do. Begin to put your attention on all the wonderful things that happen to you and around you. Celebrate all of them. There are many!

Big moments and little moments. Those that happen to you and those that happen for others. Celebrate all of them. Notice all the good around you. DO you realize there is more good in the world than bad? There are more good weather days than inclement days.

That is just the way it is. Media has sensitized us to all that is wrong, not only near us, but around the globe, day in and day out. Stop! This is insane. There are things that are bad and wrong that DO need to be righted AND yet, there is a  lot of good all around the globe.

What You Focus On Expands – Celebrate The Goodness

There is more than most people realize, notice or appreciate. Appreciate it and enjoy it. Celebrate your wins and others too. When you can celebrate other people’s wins and success and happiness you open the door to create and attract more for yourself.

Genuine delight in others good fortune is a tremendous boon for the soul. Count your blessings. Find the good in each moment. Be happy in all things. Delight and enjoy! Savor it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Your Wins Count Count Your Wins

“Have you ever noticed that some people just seem successful. They are confident and things go right for them. It seems things come naturally and easily for them. They just ‘got it’! What they actually have is a winner’s attitude. They believe they ARE successful.

Another fantastic practice I have suggested is to keep a Success Diary. Record your daily wins. Write them down. Take inventory. Record and reward yourself for each win. Remember them. Wins   can be anything, small or large. You count wins you decide to do.

It is based on intentions. You set an intention to do something for the day. When you complete it you count it as a win. For example, you decide make your bed. Once you make it notate it. You decide to clean your office or the kitchen and you do. That is a win! Congrats!

Winners Don’t Do Different Things But They Do Things Differently

Whatever you intend to do and follow through on is a win. Pat yourself on the back for the follow through and note it. Most people don’t value the things they do that they say they will. They don’t make anything about it special. Yes, you want to. Celebrate!

Build a history of winning. Keep track of the successes you have each day. Intend to do 3, then 5, then 10 or more. Add to it gradually. It is a great way to increase you success ratio and feel good at the same time. Success breeds success. Success breeds success attitude!

If you can be successful in this you can be successful in other important areas too. Build successful completion as a habit that supports you. The more you succeed the more competent you become. Competence breeds confidence.

Losers Say They’ll It Do But Don’t Winners Do It Without Saying

Then success breeds more success. It is cyclic! Keep feeling good about being successful and keep writing it in your daily journal. You can later add larger tasks. You can have weekly or monthly goals too. It is all good. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Create More Good Fortune And Opportunity Through Gratitude

“If I were limited to one thing I could recommend to people that would absolutely change their lives for the better this is it. Yes, there are many different practices and principles that are important that we could apply. Perhaps, though, nothing is as important as this.

When people speak of the Law Of Attraction they talk about vibration and whether it is high and positive or low and negative. The principle behind the law of attraction is like attracts like. AS previously discussed our RAS does this for us. It finds matches.

Negative attracts negative. Positive attracts positive. If you want to attract or create or become aware of more of the good things in life there are some things you can do. I have already suggested keeping a gratitude journal and expressing gratitude daily.

What We Want To Do With Ease We Must First Do With Diligence

Everyday, before bed, write down at least, 25 people, activities, or things you are grateful for. This is a powerful practice and it can change your life. Living from gratitude is even more powerful. On a moment to moment basis you express gratitude for everything.

Anything and everything that is offered you. You’ll find plenty to resist, therein is the point. You begin to become aware of how you interrupt the flow and fight it. When you surrender to what is, that doesn’t mean you can’t change it. It means you accept it. You allow it.

You can change it. Yes, it seems counter-intuitive, or as if I am speaking out of both sides of my mouth, but once you accept it you are free of it. You can change it or not change it and it doesn’t really matter. Free is free. You rise above it. You aren’t subject to it.

Drop By Drop The Tub Fills – Eat The Elephant Bite By Bite

When you can begin to appreciate everything, the good and the bad, then there is no good and bad. All is good. All has something of a blessing and a learning or a benefit in it. Yes, you may have to dig deep to find it, but once you do, it can be transformative.

Knowing this and doing this are two very different things. It begins with awareness and understanding. It isn’t always easy but it is simple. Live in appreciation. Imagine you created all of it so you could learn positive life lessons. That can be a useful frame to have.

Be responsible for all of it and the grateful for everything makes sense. It is all good, even if it appears as if it is not. Learn to let go, learn to learn from, and learn to celebrate everything! Still, a great way to start and practice is to keep the journal. It tunes us to things we are thankful for. Enjoy and really — celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How’d You Like To Get Lucky And Find More Good Fortune?

“Have you ever noticed some people just seem to have good fortune? They are lucky. Good things happen for them, to them and they always seem to be in the right place at the right time. They find money. They win prizes and awards. They seem blessed.

While it could be that they are, a better answer is that their brain is in tune with good fortune. This is part of what our Reticular Activating System does for us. It finds matches in our experience, and in the outer world, based on our mindset and filters.

A major concern of the RAS is to find out what is wrong, to notice that, so we keep safe. It scans the world checking for anything that could be problematic. It works on our behalf. Its other ability is to find matches with our point of view, our paradigm, our mindset.

Diligence Is The Mother Of Good Fortune

From our attitude, or our outlook on life, it finds matches in the real world and from our past experiences. It provides us examples. If you ask, ‘how come I am so uncoordinated?’ your brain will search to provide you the reasons, from your past, why you are as you think.

Whether you actually are or not, as long as you believe it, your brain will find it. On the other hand if you were to ask, ‘how come I am so fabulous?’ your brain would search to find those reasons and examples as well. The technical word is Transderivational Search.

You don’t have to know the word. It just means your subconscious does things outside of your awareness. It searches and comes up with the matches based on what you are consciously, and even unconsciously, paying attention to or focusing on.

Henceforth I Ask Not For Good Fortune – I Am Good Fortune

That is why we say, ‘what you focus on you get,’ or ‘energy flows where attention goes,’ or ‘you become what you think about.’ Your brain works to prove you right. It provides you the evidence based on the requests you make. It doesn’t care what the answers are.

If we have a positive happy mindset it finds positive happy things. If our outlook is negative it finds those. It does so based on our conditioning from birth onward. It is based on what we are thinking and  especially what we are feeling. Feelings are most important.

This is why, Law Of Attraction proponents state ‘you attract back what you are putting out.’ From the brain research standpoint this makes sense then. You do get what you focus on. You do get more back of what you put out. Birds of a feather do flock together.

Energy Flows Where Goes – What You Focus On Expands

So you want to manage your thoughts and feelings and feel or vibrate the very highest or most positive, using LOA vernacular. Get it? You can find more opportunities and positivity if you start from a positive place. That means you have to take action. Yes, YOU do.

You have to do something. You can’t continue to do what you have thought, felt and done because you will continue to get back what you always have. To change you must change things. You must act first and start thinking and feeling differently. You initiate it.

You can’t wait and hope because you will only get back more waiting and hoping. There is no one ‘out there’ doing it to you or for you. It is all your doing. You are responsible. You initiate the action, plant the seeds and reap the results. It is all up to you. Take responsibility.

Thoughts Become Things
