Thinking It Is A Problem Is The Problem!

“When you say, ‘this is a problem’, guess what? It is! When you say, ‘I have a problem’, you do! You ARE affirming the problem.  Get it? It is really only a situation, an event, another person, but you are looking at it and declaring it AS a problem. It is whatever you declare it to be.

In reality, it is neither good nor bad. You know the saying, ‘one man’s meat is another’s poison’. ‘One person’s ceiling is another person’s floor.’ It is just a set of conditions, or circumstances, that you choose to view in a particular way. You react to it as you learned to react.

It is nothing until you declare it as something. Your judgment, your naming it, is A problem that makes it THE problem. Perception is everything. What you say IS WHAT YOU GET! Stop labeling events as troublesome or problems! Just stop doing it! STOP! Get it?

What You Say Is What You Get – Thinking Makes It So

Outer circumstances are just elements in play. It is inside you, that you determine how you react, respond, review and feel about them. You translate if from situation to problem. You could translate it into an opportunity, but most likely won’t. You’ll do what you always do.

Until, you learn a better way, you will continue to make things problems! Until you stop! Thinking it is a problem IS the problem! Once you stop labeling the situations, and the thoughts and feelings associated with it, you are free to make better choices!

There are a number of things you can do to transform yourself, and your situations. BUT the very first step is to become aware of what you’re already doing. If you aren’t aware of how your thoughts and behaviors limit you, you won’t change them. You must notice!

You Are Where Your Thoughts Take You – Speak To Only To Bless 

First, become aware of what is going on. Then STOP what you are doing. Learn to do something else; anything else! Learn to change yourself, and what you normally do, in the moment by doing something different than  what you automatically do. Get it?

If you keep doing the same thing again and again, you keep perpetuating those issues. Only you can stop it. That is good news. Only you can stop it when you first become aware of your habits. So, become aware. Get grateful.

Be happy when you recognize yourself engaging in  the behaviors you want to change. That IS THE FIRST STEP. Noticing. Recognizing. From there you can begin the process of changing. You can’t if you are blind to what needs to change. So be glad. Really glad.  THEN celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What Do You See When You Look At Your Life?

“What kind of world is it for you? Are you pleased or disappointed? Are you sometimes pleased and sometimes disappointed? Is your life good or bad? How do you define it? What is it for you? If it could be otherwise, how would it be? What are you finding out about you?

I discovered this other poem by Jesse B. Rittenhouse. I did not investigate it to learn when or where she published it. I simply enjoyed the poem and took the message to heart. Hopefully, you will too. What you see is what you get! What you say is what you get!

‘I looked through others’ windows
On an enchanted earth
But out of my own window–
solitude and dearth.

And yet there is a mystery
I cannot understand–
That others through my window
See an enchanted land.’

What is your outlook on life? The sun shines on the rich and the poor. It warms the good and the not so good. It treats everyone the same without care. How is it some love and enjoy and appreciate this, while some others do not? This difference makes a difference!

How You Stay In Or Get Out Of The Suck Cycle

“How can you begin getting what you want to get? How can you begin to become happier, healthier, wealthier and more successful? Is there something you aren’t doing that would make the difference when you did it? Yes, there absolutely is.  Do this and transform!

Tell the story, to yourself, repeatedly, how life is already the way  you want it! You are already the person you want to become! See it in your mind. Visualize the dream. Affirm it daily. Convince yourself you are the person of your dreams, living your dreams right now.

Live it. Act as if. Pretend it purposely, enthusiastically and vividly. Play and have fun. Delight and give thanks. We impress upon our subconscious our wants and desires through enthusiastic, emotional repetition. Determine to make what you want, happen. Do it!

Turn Your Desire Into A White Hot Burning Obsession 

The reason so may have troubles is when feeling anger, sad or negative they affirm life sucks. They whine, blame, complain and wallow in the negativity and low vides. Hence life does suck. We get back what we put out. Learn this and stop the suck cycles.

We move forward positively and more readily the more we let go of negative circumstances, people and issues. The less we notice we aren’t where we want to be yet, and the more we imagine we already are, and act and feel as if we are, the quicker we close the gap.

It is what we did as children. We pretended whole-heartedly. That is the way one makes things happen. Live it and do it. It does not come to you as if by magic you make it happen from your power within. Think, feel and act like a success and you will eventually be a success.

Believe You Can Do It With Absolute Certainty Persist And Persist

You are already. You just don’t recognize that yet, fully. Sometime, sooner or later, you will look back and go ‘wow, how far I have come.’ Keep playing and having fun. Stay focused. If you do it haphazardly you will get haphazard results. If you commit to it and do it consistently you will get consistent results. Delight and enjoy. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Pay The High Cost Of Not Changing!

“You pay a price whenever you focus on your problems and negativity. If you are consumed by lack, debt, issues with family or friends, job stress, or worse, you pay a price. Your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health suffer. You close off and shut down.

You limit possibilities. Your body remains primarily in fight or flight or freeze. The price you pay takes a huge toll. Years existing like this are debilitating, unhappy, un-successful (even if you have monetary success) and have become your habits of thought and action.

You must change what you are thinking, feeling and doing if you want to change your life. ‘As a person thinks in the heart so the person is.’ That is a paraphrase obviously, but the meaning remains the same. What you think and declare to be true is true. Get it?

Sill Comes Of Doing – The More We Do The More We Can Do

What you focus on you get more of. So, when life throws you curve balls, it doesn’t mean ignore what is, or isn’t, going on.  It means its an opportunity to let go of the problems and stresses. Stay focused on what  you want yourself, and your life, to be. Stay positively focused.

Remain true to your purpose, goal and dreams.  Declare it and ‘act as if’ it is the way you want it, regardless of what is presently going on. This may be tricky yes, but completely possible. You must discover a way to relax your grip on how things are. Let them go and shift focus.

Drop into the present. If you have to judge things as anything, judge them as learning experiences. Judge life circumstances and problem people as opportunities and blessings. Let go of the negativity. Find the good. Do this with everything, repeatedly and continually.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You – Manage Your Thoughts

As you do, and as you become grateful for them, things will change. You will change. There are two ways of handling difficulties, attempt to alter the difficulty or alter yourself. You CAN control what you do. You can let go and trust. You can be grateful. You can’t control circumstances but you can transform yourself, and in doing so, transform them. So celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

There Is A Price You Pay By Remaining The Same!

“What is it costing you to remain as you are? We know if you always do what you always did you always get what you always got. To do the same thing over and over again while expecting different results is insane. What is this costing you? The cost can be prohibitive!

Only by learning to do something new and different can one even hope to overcome and change from old conditioned limiting beliefs and habits. If you only live within your comfort zone, day to day living, tolerating upheavals and upsets, maintaining ‘okay’ you lose.

You lose out on all the incredible moments life offers. If you hold onto the hurt of another’s words, a harsh tone, a certain look in their eyes, or the disappointment of a dream or goal not yet manifested, or plans go awry foe even a few minutes, it is costing you a lot.

If You Think You Can Or Your Think You Can’t You Are Right

You remain the same and miss out on everything else that could be. You miss out on peace, joy, delight, gratitude, happiness, success and more. BY not letting go of disappointments, hurt, anger, resentment, envy, hatred, intolerance and negativity you are paying a great price.

You internal chemistry system is creating dangerous hormones and chemicals, your body is at war combatting these. They take their toll if not immediately over time. Your thoughts and feelings are negative and depressed. Your energy is zapped and drained.

If you live by ‘yes, but’ or are even thinking that right now you are losing out. Reality is as it is. You need to get this. You need to understand and accept this. Yes, shit happens. Yes, wonderful things happen. If you live bouncing back and forth you lose.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You – Learn New Ways

Most people do. You need to learn to get free! Stop losing. Stop missing out. Stop going down endless unhappy rabbit holes. Stop paying the price of remaining the same doing the same things, feeling and thinking the same things over and over again!

Learn new positive ways. Do new positive things Accept what is. You don’t have to like it to accept it. If you can learn to understand, even if not true, everything happens for a reason and for your benefit then you can look at each moment as a blessing and opportunity.

When everything is considered a blessing and an opportunity you and your life transform. Suffering ends. You are free. You aren’t pouring more negativity into ‘negative’ events. You are allowing. You are letting go. You are grateful. You learn the lesson. You are blessed. When you learn to let go you can instantly begin to heal, transform and move forward in new ways. You do this when you celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What To Do When You Get Gobsmacked By A Block

“You feel stuck. Something holds you back. You aren’t enjoying or achieving the happiness and success in your career or life. Frankly, it sucks! You’d like to change it. Here is what you can do when you hit a block in your personal or professional life. Here is what you must do.

While blocks aren’t fun nor enjoyable, they can be downright awful, be glad you hit a block. ‘What?’ you exclaim. ‘I should be happy I encountered a block? ‘ Yes, exactly. We all have them. We all encounter them. Many were fashioned early in our lives.

They were created or adopted outside of our awareness. We didn’t choose them but we got them through exposure, experience and repeated messages, intentional or otherwise, from others around us. We have them and they lurk inside. We encounter them in change.

Don’t Let Obstacles Bring You Down Learn To Bounce Back Better

When we change, or situations change, they arise. They are limiting beliefs, negative thoughts and feelings. They are doubts, fears, worries, anger and sadness. They arise to keep us the same. We repeat them again and again in life, so we remain consistent.

Seems silly, but it is true. Our brain attempts to protect us and keep us alive in a number of ways. One of them is by attempting to keep us the same. It doesn’t know we want to update ourselves and change and that we will be fine. Blocks are there to keep us safe. BUT, yuk!

So the best we can do is appreciate them and embrace them. Allow them to surface. They will anyway, but don’t fight them. Fighting them only amplifies their yuk factor. What we resist, persists. When we feel blocked, this is what you need to do, and here is why.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

When you discover or encounter a block you have an opportunity to discover how to refocus your attention and energy and move forward. It is not really a problem, but a blessing. It is attempting to keep you safe in the first place. Your brain does what it learned to do.

It is reliable. That is why it will keep you overeating, feeling afraid, smoking or living out any number of ‘bad’ habits because that is what it learned to do. So it does it! It ‘thinks’ that is how things should be. You and I need to re-educate our brains to new things.

Some people have yet to learn this concept but anyone can eventually learn it. Given they hit enough blocks to begin to become aware of why they are there. Blocks get our attention. Instead of thinking something is wrong celebrate! You noticed the signal,

Don’t Give Up – Make Today The Best Day Of Your Life Anyway

A block is an opportunity for you to pay attention. It is a signal or a message. Once you notice the block AND actually get the message, you can change it. You may not have thought so in the past. You have lived with any number of them for a long while. There is good news!

The good news is you can learn to move through them. You can learn to recognize them for what they are, not succumb to them, but move beyond them into new, wonderful realms of being!
