There Is Nothing To Fear: Trust In This!

“There seem to be a lot of ‘in name only’ Christians these day. People who spout scripture but whose lives don’t follow scripture. Some ‘cherry pick’ passages to put others down, show others the error of their ways, without realizing they, themselves, come up way short!

I will make a bold statement. If you are a true Christian or Jew, if you believe the Bible or Torah is the inspired word of god, THEN you would be well served to act on it. Claim it. Stand on the promises there within. Live as if you have that word in your heart. Act like it.

If nothing else the 23rd Psalm tells you how the true Christian or Jew lives, believes and acts. Take comfort and stand on the words attributed to David, the king and the other authors of the Psalms. I share this incredible promise with you. Take it to heart. Apply it.

Some won’t like what I say next. Others will love it.

You may or may not believe in god, nor must you to read this blog. There are many ways to describe the mysteries of the universe, source, infinite intelligence, divine mind, and more. I am for you deciding on your own, for I will not tell you what you must believe.

Whether or not you are Christian or Jew this Psalm attributed to David is amazing.

‘The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.’ The author says god is our unfailing and abundant supply. We shall not want for anything. He will take good care of us as a shepherd does his sheep

‘He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.’ God, or the universe, source whatever you choose, takes care of us in all ways; in every way!

‘Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.’ There is nothing to fear. Fear no evil for god is with us. He protects, keeps safe, and comforts us. Nothing can harm us in god. Fear not!

‘Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.’ Again, god meets all our needs. Even in the presence of enemies we are safe, abundantly all our needs our met. A banquet in presence of enemies. WOW!

‘Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.’ God’s goodness will always follow me. So think about this. There is nothing to fear. We can come to no harm. Every need is taken care of. We are comforted and loved.

So, what is it with name only christians who are afraid of others, who claim other’s sin is responsible for downfall? Who blame and accuse and deprive others from living happy, healthy lives, and attempt to prevent them from following their dreams. They hate and are afraid.

Why is it that they take money from them, prevent them from having the care and access to resources they need? These same name only christians allocate money to themselves, health benefits for themselves all while depriving others. They don’t live the Word?

There is nothing to fear, hate, or harm. God takes care of us. Rest in god’s word. Claim the promises and live as god intended you to live. Follow Matthew 22:36-40 When a disciple asked Jesus, ‘Master what is the greatest commandment in the law?’

Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’ Seems fairly direct. Love god. Love your neighbor.

Do you not get this? If you claim to be a Christian it seems you have your work cut out for you. The rest of us would benefit if we followed these words as well. Love and love some more. Stop the hate. Be filled with love. You are safe with nothing to fear. You are well provided for. There is plenty for all. Love god and love others as you love yourself. Treat everyone well. Be kind. Be generous as god is to you. Celebrate everything!”

How To Better Respond To Others

“Sometimes we have difficulty with the people we love most.  Other times, we come up against friends, bosses, employees, co-workers and even strangers. Wouldn’t it be nice to more effectively communicate, love and support to these important people?

An important way to effectively respond to others is to learn to effectively respond to yourself! You can learn to respond to yourself with empathy, love, respect, caring, and honesty. You can do so even when you are confused, angry, resentful, worried, and fearful.

Put yourself in the hands of a higher power. Whether that is your inner wisdom, infinite intelligence or the god you have a relationship with. Trust your source, based on whatever your positive beliefs are. Surrender, and learn to be gentle with you. Learn to understand.

Mirrors Are There So We Can See What Needs To Be Changed

We all have imperfections. If we can better accept and love ourselves, we can better love and accept others. If we can understand we have imperfections and accept that, we can accept that in others, too. Stop hurting yourself. Stop hurting others. Get it?

Appreciate yourself, your imperfections. Realize these are there for you to learn from and transform. Everything is a blessing when you recognize the positive opportunities within even the most difficult or dire situation. All is good. Everything big and small is a blessing.

Even your imperfections and those of others. Love it all. Accept it all. You will immediately begin to transform, in incredible and dynamic ways, when you learn to be grateful and celebrate all of it. So, do it. Thank yourself. Thank your higher power. Surrender, trust and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Must Do To Make It Happen!

“Your do your part. That means, you do it. You think it, feel it and take action.  You do what you can do. You have faith that it will happen. You trust and continue  doing those things that move you forward. You know what you are responsible for your success!

You also know you are only responsible for what you can control. You know there are things you can’t control. You don’t put your faith in luck or mysticism, or winning the lottery to succeed, you put it in yourself, your abilities, and what you can control. And then, let go.

Trust! You trust that your thoughts, feelings, vibes and actions have instigated the process and you follow through, adjusting the plan, being flexible as needed. Just as you plant a seed in the ground and water it, you do your part. The plant growing, is not up to you, Get it?

Skill Comes Of Doing – Let Go And Let God – Develop Certainty

You trust nature to take care of the seed growing, You can’t control it. You can only plant and nurture it. Growing is out of your hands. So you release that and only focus on your part. The same is true with your success. You don’t do more than your part. You can’t. Get it?

You align with others who succeed and help nurture their success. You appreciate and cheer them on. You don’t envy. It isn’t a zero-sum game that some like to play. There are no losers. A rising tide lifts the whole boat. You never succeed alone. No person is an island.

Do your part. Co-operate with others. Enjoy life. Live, love, laugh. Be flexible. You can always find or create a way. Adjust as necessary and continue. If you don’t quit eventually you’ll get there. So do your part, trust yourself, let go of control, and trust the rest will happen.

The More We Do The More We Become Capable Of Doing – Trust

Let go. All of it is a blessing. Learn from mistakes. Forge a will of steel and enjoy. Delight in the process. Them more you enjoy it, the easier it is. Step by step you get closer and closer. Keep the faith. Develop yourself. Help others. Grow your gratitude. Keep learning and you will do it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The #1 Ingredient You Need To Succeed!

“Do you know what ingredient you must have to succeed? Without it success is unlikely. Sure, you might ‘luck’ into it but is that how you want to go through life? Probably not! Don’t you want to know you can make it if you attempt it? This ingredient makes that possible.

Those who succeed the most not only have a white hot burning desire, passion and enthusiasm for what they do for creating the success they have they have something else. They have unshakeable confidence, trust or faith in themselves and that they will prevail.

Faith or certainty is what they have. While one can never be certain, they are! They know that no matter what they will continue until they make what they want happen. They will persist. They believe in themselves so much and in their future they continue until they win.

The Mind Is As Strong As Its Weakest Think – Believe In Yourself

What is faith? I’ll share on faith in the next blog post. Know this. If you don’t have faith you most likely aren’t ever going to accomplish what you hope to. That is the bad news. The good news is faith can be developed. If you don’t have it, you can! BUT you have to work it!

Get it? It never just happens to you, except in very rare occasions. You make it happen. If it is to be it is up to me, is how the saying goes. Your thoughts, feelings, actions and vibes determine the results you get.  Your results are up to you! Work And Trust: Tether Your Camel Then Pray To God

“There is the tale of the mystic and his disciple traveling through the desert by camel. At nightfall the mystic instructed the disciple to tether the camel, say prayers and go to bed. Upon arising in the morning the camel was gone. It was nowhere in sight. WOW!

When asked by the mystic what happened the disciple said, he didn’t tether the camel, but prayed to god to watch the camel. The mystic scolded him, saying ‘tether your camel and then pray to god.’ What do you suppose the mystic meant? Shouldn’t trust have worked?

Shouldn’t it have worked. If you trust god or the universe for everything, why couldn’t you just put it in god’s hands? You may not like the answer, but, ‘You tether your camel and then pray to god.’ Do you get it? There is your part. Do it!Then, there is god’s part.

Skill Comes Of Doing – The More We Do The More We Can Do

The Bible seems to emphasize work and prayer. Do your part and god does god’s part. What you put out you get back. Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened. You do your part and god or the universe does the rest.

You think positive, visualize, affirm and make forward progress toward your goals. Do what you can do to advance. Trust the universe and god for the results. You can’t manage results but you can manage what you do. Consider the following analogy.

You order food in a restaurant. The order taker gives it to the kitchen. You wait while the kitchen prepares your food. You expect it to arrive. You don’t doubt, fear or worry about it. You don’t micro manage the process. You don’t cook, nor do you deliver the food.

Know What You Can Control – Know What To Trust And Let Go Of

You trust! You did your part. The kitchen, god or the universe does theirs. You want to get results? Do your part! Trust, be patient and let the universe or god do the rest. Tether your camel and then pray to god. Get it? Let go of insisting it come your way. Trust. TRUST!

Be grateful. Be positive. Be optimistic. Be faithful. Be persistent. Be happy. Be willing to allow it to come to you. You put your order in, now, let it come. You asked. You will receive. You did the seeking then you will find. You knocked and the door will be opened. When you have done all in your power, then trust and wait patiently. Hooray! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Overall Secret To Living Happily And Successful!

“To everything there is a season. Things come and go. There is a rhythm to life. Ying and yang. Hot and cold. Tall and short. The tide comes in. The tide goes out. There are opposites and there is balance. There are causes and there are effects. Life is a process.

There is flow. Like a river there are straights and bends. Smooth water and rougher water. Life is flow. You are not just a part of life, you are life, too. Your are not just part of the process. You are process. You are connected to everything and everything you.

Life supports you. Everything you need is within you and without you. Trust life. Trust the process. Trust flow. Be flow. All is good. The rough and difficult water is as good as the easy, smooth water. Life brings you only positive experiences. Understand this and flow.

Whatever You Focus On Expands – Let Go And Let God – Flow

It is all good. The universe, source, you expands. When you realize who and what you are suffering ceases. Resisting the flow and the process, calling things bad, is how suffering occurs. It is all part of it too. Whether you suffer or not, whether it is easy or not, it is good.

Get it? Let go and let god. Trust the process, the flow, yourself, source and find the positive. Find the blessings. Express your gratitude in all of it. Find abundance all around you and within you. What About Those Nasty People And Circumstances?

“Who do you listen to? Who do you pay attention to? Who are your teachers? When it comes to learning how open and available are you? How easily do you learn? Do you dabble? It is all up to you. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to master the material?

There are important teachers and mentors but those may be the subject of another blog post. I have already addressed these important influences. More importantly is another realization. When you realize this you entire life can instantly transfor,m.

Everyone IS already our teacher. Until we open our hearts we don’t realize it. We are blinded to that as a possibility.  Because we are so sure we know, we miss most everything. That is because we don’t know what we don’t know. We can’t see around the corner!

Awareness Can Lead To Massive Positive Transformation – Let Go

Every circumstance is our teacher. All the nasty, rude, difficult people and horrible circumstances provide lessons, opportunity and blessings, if we only become aware, open ourselves up to look and find them. We must be willing to look, to seek, in order to find.

All of our experience can teach us. Learning to be open, available , and see the good in everything is crucial to our happiness and success. Without the ability to let go and surrender we place most of our happiness on people, things and circumstances outside us.

We make the outer the key to our success and happiness when it comes from within instead. We need to correctly make attributions and as long as out focus is on people, places, things, events outside ourselves we miss out. We can’t know what we can’t know.

What We Focus On Expands – We Become What We Think About

We need to develop trust and faith that it is all good and all is there for our ultimate benefit whether difficult or easy. Our thinking determines how we feel about those things that happen to us. Our thinking makes happen, or at the very least, contributes to the same.

When we learn to change our thinking from negative to positive, when we learn to seek the good, the lesson and blessing in all things, when we learn to be truly grateful for all of it and let go of resistance but instead trust and surrender, our lives become blissful!

We become free. We enjoy a peace beyond description. This is available to you when you are ready to let go and learn from all. Let go and let god is an important saying to adopt. Invite the higher power, infinite intelligence, source, god, the divine, whatever you call it, to help you let go and learn. Learn to  Be. Learn to be present and thankful. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Universe Works In Mysterious Ways

“I’m driving with my daughter one evening when all the dash warning lights go off. I don’t lose power or lights but the alerts went off. Later, they went off again. I called my mechanic to discover the garage had permanently shut down between visits, without notice.

I loved my mechanics. They were wonderful. However, the owners shut everything down without notifying them in advance either. Okay, I seem to have a need and I am without a trusted garage. No problems with the car but the warning lights go off a few times.

Every couple of days. Might be a short. Doesn’t seem to effect anything but I don’t want to press my luck. Then, I loaned the car to my daughter who called to say it was driving funny. It was a Saturday night. She brought the car home and it had no brakes. WOW!

All Good Things Come To The Person Who Believes – Have Faith

I really needed a mechanic. I called a friend who said he had a friend who was a mechanic and who would take good care of me. Meanwhile, I researched what might be wrong with the brakes. I called a few shops nearby telling them what I discovered.

They couldn’t quote it but said, most likely it was expensive. Okay, I prepared to shell out if I must, but obviously, who wants to and I didn’t. I take the car to my friends garage this morning. I meet the gentleman who says ‘let me take a look’. He does. He tells me to wait.

He says it might take 20 minutes or longer, depending. 20 minutes later it is fixed. Great! I ask what I owe. He says, ‘You don’t owe me anything. Glad I could help.’ WOW. Really great! I found my new mechanic, BUT I wouldn’t have, had I not had the problem. Get it?

Another Name For Faith Is Trust – Trust It Will All Work Out

I could have looked and searched for good reliable mechanics but I hadn’t yet. The pressing brake issue meant now I had to.  I should have when the alerts went off. Which by the way, never have since. If they do I know where I will take my car. Universe provides! Get it?

When problems arise, expected or unexpected, it is normal and easy to think negative thoughts. We have been conditioned to worry and have fears or doubts. THAT is precisely when we need to shift to the positive thinking and feeling. That is when we need to trust. Get it?

Inside every adversity is a seed of equal opportunity. When my other garage had closed I thought, ‘okay, now for something equal of even better’. I just didn’t make it a priority at that time. I put it out there that I needed a new mechanic. Then, I got a worse the problem.

Count Your Blessing – Things Always Work Out For The Best

AND it wasn’t really even a problem. It didn’t cost me anything and I found a great new mechanic. I am blessed. I called my friend and got a tip on how to gift the new mechanic. I went, purchased a gift, returned and gave it to him. The look I got back was worth it!

How cool. He gifted me with free service. I gifted him with something I found out he would like. He feels good and I feel good! I felt great giving the gift. While it may, or may not, be true that everything happens for a reason, I prefer to think that it does. That way everything IS a blessing to be grateful for, even, if at first it doesn’t appear to be one. I am blessed. You are blessed. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Probably The Toughest Thing You Need To Do Is This!

“I am not saying it is difficult, but some will think so. This is probably the toughest thing you need to learn, to do and to master. Once you have accomplished this the rest becomes so easy. Actually, it is all easy. We are the ones who make it tough. We think it is hard.

Therefore it is. Mindset rules. Your attitude determines everything. If you think it difficult it will be more difficult than if you know it is easy. While there are always delightful surprises, realize, if you think it is tough, and it turns out not to be, you made it so to begin with.

You thought it would be hard and you acted the same even if ultimately it turned out not to be. Our thoughts shape our reality. So the toughest thing you need to learn to do is let go. Letting go actually is easy, most people just think it is difficult. So then it is.

If You Want To Be Happy – Then Just Be – Learn To Receive – Enjoy

Let go and let god. Trust the universe. Trust source. Trust your higher self. Stop intellectualizing. Stop trying to figure it out. Stop trying to do it. Let go and trust the universe will provide. Your subconscious will see you through. Maintain a positive mindset and let it happen.

Then you think, feel, say and do all the right things. Then you align with what you want. There is no friction. No resistance. The issue is most people try to do another’s job. They try to do the work of the universe. I mentioned I bought some CDs recently. That is true.

That is what I did. I ordered them. I paid for them. I acted first. I knew what I wanted and I put my order in. I paid with faith and cash that I will get them. Nothing is free and you must go first. Demonstrate your faith.  I let go and let the company and PO deliver them.

I Am Too Positive And Optimistic To Be Doubtful Or Fearful

I can’t do their job. I don’t want to. Still, many people put their order in and then try to do all the things to make it happen. They create resistance and frustration. They focus on lack and time frames and get their undies all in a bunch. Relax, let go. Let god or the universe.

Call it whatever works best for you. The thing you and I, all of us need to do, and we have not been conditioned for this from birth, but conditioned against it, is to know what we want, ask for it, order it, pay for it, and eagerly and thankfully receive it. Get it?

Acting as if means you act as if you already have it. You believe it is yours. How do you believe it? By pretending. Do that long enough, correctly, repeatedly and you will develop the belief. You will transform and renew your very own mind. If you don’t, you won’t!

We Can’t Solve Problems With The Same Thinking Creating Them

Learn to stop trying to do the universe’s job and do your part instead. Do your part really well. Then you open the pathway to get what you want. You remove the blocks and obstacles because you allow. You align your thoughts, feelings, words and actions to receive. So do it. Master this and you become a master manifestor. Meanwhile, always celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
