I Have To Confess This!

“‘Confession is good for the soul’. Everyone has something they need to disclose. I have to get this off my chest. Not because it is a burden to me, but because it might help many people to understand they are not alone in this. We  all have areas in ourselves that challenge us.

This is my confession. I grew up, longing for the past. I wished I had lived way back ‘when’.  In ancient times. I longed to live in the golden era of Hollywood, too. I looked back and saw glamour as a pirate or as a film star. The past held a deep fascination for me.

As I grew older I longed for the past even more. My good old days. Days gone by. Old friends and passed pets. I cherished the memories. I lived in the present and re-lived the past. As it came time for me to plan for the future I wasn’t very good at it.

Make Peace With The Past – Celebrate And Enjoy The Present 

Of course not, I had little practice. Oh sure, as a child I wanted to be a pirate, a gladiator, a magician, a spy, a detective, a scientist, an astronaut, a movie star. I did have ambitions but I wasn’t actually sure how to fulfill any of them.

As a teen actor and in my early twenties I knew I wanted to act and be a success but I couldn’t imagine what it was like to BE successful.. I wanted to live the celebrity life but couldn’t see it happening. I spent time longing for old Hollywood wishing I hadn’t missed out.

I couldn’t picture myself succeeding. I could more readily picture myself getting hurt, screwing up, and failing, but ‘successful’ that was very difficult. The images were vague and fuzzy. Opaque at best. I was not good at visualizing. To be honest, I sucked being positive.

What Is Ahead May Be Greater Than Anything You Can Imagine

I tried affirmations, creative visualization and never got very far. I abandoned them, then try again later. I wondered what was wrong with me? Why couldn’t I get these things to work? I wondered and lamented at why so many  of my friends were soaring to success?

All around me people became famous and rich,  but I wasn’t. I blamed it on me. I wasn’t tall enough, or good enough, or good looking enough. I thought others were just luckier and I had bad luck, bad timing. If only I had been born into the studio system.

I did workshops and seminars but often felt worse because I felt stuck and broken. I read all the books, I knew all the right info  but couldn’t make it work in my life. I struggled with feeling lost and hopeless. I was angry a lot. Bored, I was incredibly bored.

The Longer You Live In The Past The Less Future You Get To Enjoy

I didn’t know what to do. If you aren’t acting as an actor you aren’t doing anything. The studios didn’t just let you in. Celebrities didn’t help you just because you knew them. A lot of people wanted you for money or sex, or both,  but not for having a star career.

Many took advantage of you in other ways. ‘Work for free you’ll be a big star.’ Lot’s of time feeling down, depressed, angry and abused. It is a rough, tough, pursuit. You hear ‘no’ more than anything. It is easy for some to blame self and others and do drugs or worse to cope.

I don’t share these things because I think they were terrible. Sure, I had it rough. Not as rough as some and rougher than some others. I share them because if I can change my focus from what was to what is and what will be, then anyone can.

In Order For Light To Shine Bright Darkness Must Be Present

If one can change all can change. It is possible! That is what I had to learn. We are capable of transformation and we don’t have to live as we had in our past. Our previous conditioning while difficult to recognize, override and escape is not impossible. It IS possible!

If I can learn to make affirmations and visualization work anyone can. You can! Never say never. For me, it took constant application. Struggle, I gave up. I tried again. I wasn’t smart enough to just keep trying until I was at a point where I couldn’t lose any more.

I’ll share more tomorrow. Whatever your life story is or was you can change it. You, and only you, can make yourself and your life be what you want it to be. Yes, you can! You may have more or you may have less to overcome but you can do it whatever it is. You truly can.

Old Ways Won’t Open New Doors – Change Is Good – Celebrate

Just don’t wait. Begin today if you haven’t already. Decide and commit. It isn’t always easy but it is quite simple. The first step is awareness that you need to or want to change. Next comes the decision and your commitment. Do that everything follows.

Take it step by step. You’ll begin to notice shifts in your thinking and being. Sometimes, the last to change are the results you get. The circumstances, change last, but you change first. Then you can navigate any circumstances. For some, everything changes!

Begin now, right where you are and move forward. Learn to feel and express gratitude and thankfulness because everything in your past brought you to where you are today so you can be who you want to be. Why doesn’t matter. You have wonderful opportunity right now.

All Great Changes Are Preceded By Chaos –  Challenge Is Good

Gratitude opens everything up. When you count your blessings you focus on feeling good and thinking positive. That change right there makes all the difference in the world. Attitude first and all the other changes can follow. So enjoy! Appreciate! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Make Things Happen By Pacing Reality

“So, you wanted to manifest some things; money, ideal weight, the perfect relationship, harmony with family, whatever it is. The issue is you just didn’t believe you could do it. Or you didn’t believe it was possible for you. If that is the case you may want to implement this.

The issue you have is doubt. You doubt it will happen for you or that you can make it happen. I’ll be one of the first to say, ‘yup, it isn’t going to just happen for you’, but YOU can MAKE IT happen. Yet, you still don’t believe that, perhaps. You have tried affirmations.

You’ve tried visualization and you just haven’t made it work, yet. The reason again, is belief. If you doubt it and don’t believe you can do it what you ARE creating and attracting is more of the same doubt. Do you understand this? You have to change what you are doing.

Believe You Can And You Are HalfWay There

One of the things that does work is to pace reality. This means you describe what is ongoing and observable. I am sitting in a chair, typing on the computer. That is what Rex is doing. You are reading these words.  Beyond that Rex doesn’t know but you do.

You know where you are, the place and what it looks like. You know the temperature, the time of day. You know if you are sitting, standing or lying down. If you’re at home, work or on a train, plane or bus. Get it? You can describe your reality. Okay, okay that is pacing.

That is pacing the ongoing reality of your moment. That’s fine, but we are going to pace in another way, instead. We are going to pace the world at large, in general. For example, you think that you could never make enough money or become debt free. You can affirm this:

Believe That You Can Do It And You Will Do It

‘There are many people in the world who began with nothing. More people have made fortunes than have inherited them. Everyone begins somewhere. It may have been difficult for them too, but they did it. Right now someone just became wealthy! Someone did it.’

People are getting rich and making fortunes everyday. There is plenty of money going around. Billions and billions of dollars are exchanging hands each second. Just now someone received a large amount of money. Someone just received a big check.

More people are learning how to manage their money and make fortunes. There are lot’s of people creating wealth in today’s market. People find and win money too. Plenty of people are really good with money. If it is possible for some of them all of them probably could.’

Encourage Yourself And Encourage Others – You First

Here is the point. You want to uncover what is going on in the world. Plenty of people are eating well and maintaining their ideal weight. There are lots of people from all backgrounds and families who are healthy in spite of genetics. There are people right now meeting others, on dates, and falling in love. Everywhere in the world.

It is all going on right now. If it is possible for them it can be possible for you too. If, when you read these thoughts, you feel a bit more hopeful that is a good thing. You want to learn that you too can be part of the success crowd. Sometimes our focus is too narrow.

Especially when it comes to thoughts that limit us. We sometimes think we are alone, only we have this issue. Or anyone with the problems we have are doomed. Well, there are plenty of examples in the world of people with less doing more. If they can you can.

What We Want To Do With Ease We Must First Do With Diligence

Use the pacing of reality to create a window of opportunity for you. Pace the world in this way so that you learn it is possible and that it is going on. From there you can begin to learn to do what others do as well. ‘Others made money. They started from nothing. I can too.’

‘I can begin to learn to manage my money and create wealth.’ From there you can affirm, ‘I am learning to manage my money and create wealth. I enjoy learning. As I learn I become more able to do the things I want. I feel confident I can being to make more money too.’

You pace the world, and yourself. Then you lead yourself one stepping stone at a time down the path of least resistance. You pace and lead yourself into more easily and readily believing you can do it. When you believe you can then it becomes possible and more likely.

Step By Step You Make Your Way – It Is  A Journey Not A Race

Without the belief in yourself you won’t. Believe in yourself and that it is possible and you can learn to do anything. You really can begin to make your dreams come true. Stop resisting and start assisting yourself in moving forward. Step by step. Pace yourself into it.

IT WORKS! You can free yourself from years of defeatist limited thinking by pacing your way out of it. You really can. Of course, you actually have to do the work. Once you implement it , stick with it until a new reality is yours. It takes whatever time it takes.

If you want to be a success you need some skin in the game. What are you willing to pay or give up to succeed. Are you willing to keep at it until you win. If you truly are you will. If you quit you will have succeeded in quitting. Stop quitting and start winning. DO IT! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Put A Guard Dog On Your Lips

“Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Don’t waste time or energy or risk creating more of what you don’t want by reliving it over and over by retelling it. Have the sense to let it go. If it sucked, that is what was. Now get over it and get on. Think something else.

Find the good. Learn self control. Direct your thoughts and energy and feelings elsewhere that will bring you the good you want instead of the bad you don’t or didn’t. You learn to control your thinking for so you are able to create what you want more of in life.

What you want more of FOCUS on. What you don’t want stop focusing on it. Let it go. Leave it alone. Think differently about it. Control you thinking, your words, your feelings and your actions. Become the master of them instead of their servant.

Clear Your Mind Of Can’t – Devote Your Mind To I Can

Run your brain don’t be run by it. Determine what you want, and who you want to be and create it. Create yourself to be the person you want to be. Choose wisely, because some aren’t so smart. Decide on the good you want for your future and make it happen. Live it, feel it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Focus On The Present To Create The Future

“Would you like to enjoy life much more? Would you prefer life be more like a graduation party and less like a pity party? It can be if you do some simple things. The first thing you must do is decide to take charge of your life and run it instead of being run by events.

It is your life. Imagine you created it all just for yourself. All the good and all the bad you designed it just for you. Whether it is true or not isn’t the point. It is a useful frame of mind to adopt that can make a difference in how much enjoyment you experience.

If you are doing it to you and for your benefit then whatever happens is good. Right? Good AND bad. Okay, we have discussed this before. It bears repeating. Everything can be a blessing. Most people miss this. In fact, most people miss most things.

Celebrate What You Want To See More Of

They live as if wearing blinders. You need to see. You need to sensitize yourself and become more aware. Really, you do. We all do. Begin to put your attention on all the wonderful things that happen to you and around you. Celebrate all of them. There are many!

Big moments and little moments. Those that happen to you and those that happen for others. Celebrate all of them. Notice all the good around you. DO you realize there is more good in the world than bad? There are more good weather days than inclement days.

That is just the way it is. Media has sensitized us to all that is wrong, not only near us, but around the globe, day in and day out. Stop! This is insane. There are things that are bad and wrong that DO need to be righted AND yet, there is a  lot of good all around the globe.

What You Focus On Expands – Celebrate The Goodness

There is more than most people realize, notice or appreciate. Appreciate it and enjoy it. Celebrate your wins and others too. When you can celebrate other people’s wins and success and happiness you open the door to create and attract more for yourself.

Genuine delight in others good fortune is a tremendous boon for the soul. Count your blessings. Find the good in each moment. Be happy in all things. Delight and enjoy! Savor it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How’d You Like To Get Lucky And Find More Good Fortune?

“Have you ever noticed some people just seem to have good fortune? They are lucky. Good things happen for them, to them and they always seem to be in the right place at the right time. They find money. They win prizes and awards. They seem blessed.

While it could be that they are, a better answer is that their brain is in tune with good fortune. This is part of what our Reticular Activating System does for us. It finds matches in our experience, and in the outer world, based on our mindset and filters.

A major concern of the RAS is to find out what is wrong, to notice that, so we keep safe. It scans the world checking for anything that could be problematic. It works on our behalf. Its other ability is to find matches with our point of view, our paradigm, our mindset.

Diligence Is The Mother Of Good Fortune

From our attitude, or our outlook on life, it finds matches in the real world and from our past experiences. It provides us examples. If you ask, ‘how come I am so uncoordinated?’ your brain will search to provide you the reasons, from your past, why you are as you think.

Whether you actually are or not, as long as you believe it, your brain will find it. On the other hand if you were to ask, ‘how come I am so fabulous?’ your brain would search to find those reasons and examples as well. The technical word is Transderivational Search.

You don’t have to know the word. It just means your subconscious does things outside of your awareness. It searches and comes up with the matches based on what you are consciously, and even unconsciously, paying attention to or focusing on.

Henceforth I Ask Not For Good Fortune – I Am Good Fortune

That is why we say, ‘what you focus on you get,’ or ‘energy flows where attention goes,’ or ‘you become what you think about.’ Your brain works to prove you right. It provides you the evidence based on the requests you make. It doesn’t care what the answers are.

If we have a positive happy mindset it finds positive happy things. If our outlook is negative it finds those. It does so based on our conditioning from birth onward. It is based on what we are thinking and  especially what we are feeling. Feelings are most important.

This is why, Law Of Attraction proponents state ‘you attract back what you are putting out.’ From the brain research standpoint this makes sense then. You do get what you focus on. You do get more back of what you put out. Birds of a feather do flock together.

Energy Flows Where Goes – What You Focus On Expands

So you want to manage your thoughts and feelings and feel or vibrate the very highest or most positive, using LOA vernacular. Get it? You can find more opportunities and positivity if you start from a positive place. That means you have to take action. Yes, YOU do.

You have to do something. You can’t continue to do what you have thought, felt and done because you will continue to get back what you always have. To change you must change things. You must act first and start thinking and feeling differently. You initiate it.

You can’t wait and hope because you will only get back more waiting and hoping. There is no one ‘out there’ doing it to you or for you. It is all your doing. You are responsible. You initiate the action, plant the seeds and reap the results. It is all up to you. Take responsibility.

What You Think At Work Determines Your Future

“Is your work exhilarating and fun? Are you happy to go there each day? Are you thrilled with your bosses and coworkers? Do you feel blessed being able to do the work you do? Do you feel you are contributing and helping others in your job? Is it fulfilling you?

Sadly, and unfortunately, for many people, the answer is no. They aren’t exhilarated, thrilled or eager to go to work. Most can’t wait to get home and many find their job dreary and their coworkers and bosses annoying at the very least. Not everyone, but many. Many do.

It is sad and it is unfortunate. If you aren’t one of those people who ‘hate’ their jobs or long for a better one, consider yourself lucky and blessed.  For many people just having a job is a reason to celebrate. However, that is not the point of this post.

A Negative Thinker Sees A Difficulty In Every Opportunity

The point of this post is you may spent 40 hours, or even more, if full time on the job. Part time could cap at 39 obviously. How you spend that time, your thoughts and feelings, are a critical influence on your ability to easily create the future you want. It can help or hinder.

Remember, the goal is to manage your thoughts and feelings. To think and feel the very best. You need to do so because the predominant thoughts in your mind is what you tend to create. You can’t not create so the questions is what are you creating?

On top of the job hours there are the off hours spent worrying about or fretting over the job. People think about their job, talk about it, gossip about the coworkers and all the other possibilities. That means even more time spent possibly negative thinking.

A Positive Thinker Sees An Opportunity In Every Difficulty

How do you expect to create a positive future if so much time is devoted to negative thinking? This is why I remind again and again that every moment is a moment to celebrate and feel blessed no matter what is going on. Horrible circumstance? It could be worse.

Find the silver lining, the good in all situations. Look for it. Seek it, dig deep if you have to. Don’t give into negativity or succumb to living a lackluster life. Change your destiny. Think positive. Find the good. Find what there is to appreciate and appreciate it. Feel grateful!

Find the 1% that is good that you appreciate and celebrate the 1% one hundred per cent! Create what you want to have in your future! Use challenges and frustrations to propel you further. Don’t be limited by them. Triumph over them. Be bigger than your problems.

Positive Thoughts Generate Positive Feelings And Experiences 

Your job can be your catalyst for greatness. Most of the successful CEO’s and top achievers in our world had menial, low paying jobs they hated. They started at the bottom as everyone else does but they were determined not to stay there. The made it out.

You can too! Use the hours in the day to think positive. We become what we think about. We get what we focus on. Like attracts like. Get more of what you want by becoming what you want first. Don’t wait. Develop the mindset and the feelings. Act as If! GO FIRST!

Be happy, feel rich and successful. Love life. Imagine everything is wonderful. Visualize and affirm. Direct your mind positively and powerfully. Learn from the difficult times and celebrate them. Enjoy the easy times and celebrate them. In fact, feel grateful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Can Become The Person You Want To Be Before Actually Becoming That Person!

“Pretend and master. It is what method actors do. They create a character from the inside. They think the thoughts and feelings of the person they are portraying. ‘Act as if’ is a way to become the person you want to be in advance of actually becoming that person.

You pretend and master. If you are new to my blog you might wish to refer to some of the recent earlier posts. Suffice to say you are mentally and emotionally rehearsing what it is like to be, do and have exactly what you want. You use your imagination to create it.

It works because you align you mindset, emotions and behaviors. You congruently act as if you already are, the good, you want to be in the future. You inform your own subconscious that ‘this’ IS what I want. You rehearse. You practice. Then, you get what you practiced.

We Are What We Pretend To Be – Be Careful What You Choose 

It is pretty cool! You get what you focus on. You become what you think about most often. Keep it up and evolve yourself into that person by acting as if you already are that person. If you want to be happy, act happy. If you want to be rich, act rich. Do you follow?

Many of those who already are personally and/or professionally, successful do this naturally. They simply don’t know any other way to be. They can’t imagine any other way of doing it. Others do this purposefully to create what they want. They intend it!

It IS their reality. Happiness brings more happiness. Success attracts more success. Money brings more money. Birds of a feather flock together. Like attracts like. Mindset and attitude pave the way and the rest follows. It works. All you have to do is legitimately try it on.

Whether You Realize It Or Not – You Are Always Choosing

Today, and for the future, rehearse this. Try on this mental frame for yourself. It is another useful way to think about things and organize your life experience. It is both practical and powerful. It helps you notice more of what you are putting out there.

Awareness of what you are putting out, or ‘vibrating at’ helps you manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It helps you learn and set reliable success habits by knowing when and where you are on target or off track. It allows you to calibrate your efforts.

Ancient masters from early times on have either alluded to or directly stated the following. You are a broadcasting and receiving station. You are a walking perpendicular antennae on the planet. You send to and receive from the universe and others.

Complete Life Transformation Is Only A Decision Away

Whether you believe that to be true of not, pretend to be a broadcasting and receiving  station. Whether or not it is true pretend it just the same. Again, remember, this exercise is about organizing your awareness of what you are thinking and doing.

As a broadcasting station what are you broadcasting to the world? Is it positive? Is it happy? Is it success? Is it rich? Is it fun? Is it love? Is it peace? Is it glorious? What precisely is it you put out there day and night? What are you ‘transmitting’ to others and the world?

What do you offer? What do you transmit? What are you radiating? What do others feel, think and notice about your presence? You can manage what you broadcast and you should want to. You want to emit the very best, the very highest, vibrational frequency. Get it?

Allow Yourself To See What You Don’t Allow Yourself To See

What are you sending out there by what you think, feel and do? Then, just as importantly what are you receiving? What messages are you allowing in? How are you spending your time? Are you being filled with positivity or negativity? Are you purposeful or drifting.

Are you focus or distracted? What gets past you and into your mind? What are the influences you court or tolerate? What is the energy you surround yourself with and fill yourself up from?  All of this makes a big difference in how you go about your day and your life.

Are you filling your mind with positive, inspiring, motivational material that leads you to thinking, feeling and doing better? Are you more positive and productive as a result of what you pay attention to. Do you read daily and surround yourself with positive people?

OR do you listen to negative news and gossip? Do you waste time on social media paying arguing with others or filling your mind with negativity? How do you utilize your time and what are you filling your mind with? Are you hanging around with negative influences?

‘Act as if’  is a template, a mindset, a frame that you adopt to be aware of you how you move in the world. Use it to determine what you are focused on most of the time. We become what we think about most. This is a critical practice to adopt.

Acting Is Pretending To Be Someone Else – Act As If You Rock

Learn about yourself. Recognize what you do that holds you back and that moves you forward. Do less of what holds you back and more of what moves you forward. You will make better progress. Learn to do what is necessary for positive advancement and do it.

Are you helping yourself or hindering yourself? Do you help others, encourage them, and celebrate their successes or are you envious and resentful? Do you help others or try to prevent them, or step on them to get ahead? Which is it? All this is useful information.

You get further faster by cooperating with yourself, aligning yourself and becoming congruent AND by cooperating with others. Turn resistance into assistance so you can succeed more readily. Remember, what you resist persists. Can you feel it? I bet you can.

You Are The Master Of Your Fate And The Captain Of Your Soul

Do this and succeed. Start now. Make it part of your daily ritual. Success habits need to be nurtured and developed routinely and consistently. They don’t develop haphazardly. Decide today! Change your life for the better by making changes in what you think and do.

Implement practices that move you closer to being who you want to be. Practice and rehearse success and you become it. Think the thoughts and feel the feelings of the happy, successful and richer you. Live it first on the inside and you can become it on the outside.

Results stem from and flow from inner processes. From within to without IS how it works. Get your head and heart on right and the rest will follow. Adjust your attitude. Activate your attitude to serve and support you. No one can do it for you but you. Do it today.

Happiness Is Letting Go And Celebrating Life For Everything It Is

Delight in everything. Enjoy the ease and the difficulties. Find the good hiding within everyone and all circumstances. Seek the positive and you will find it. Look for smiles and more laughter in each day. Decide to have fun, to enjoy, to explore, adventure and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

In how many ways can you find delight today?

Dream A Little Dream: Just Make Sure It Isn’t A Nightmare!

“Your imagination is a most valuable asset. It is a major resource for you when used deliberately. It is the seat of your creativity, innovation and problem solving. It can lead you in powerful, positive directions, It can lead you to incredible heights.

Untamed it can be unruly and waste your time. You can spend hours in frivolous daydreaming getting no where, doing nothing or it can lead you to productive and unlimited heights. Learn to wisely use and direct your imagination. Control and manage your thinking.

Instead of living their dreams most people live their nightmares. They fear the worst and then it happens. They don’t want bad things to come their way but then they do. If this happens to you, then you must change it. You must do different things to get different results!

Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge

A powerful practice is ‘act as if’. ACT as if you already have the changes you seek. Act as if you are already the person you desire to become. Act as if you already had the future goods and money you want. Live from that perspective. Enjoy those feelings right now.

As you ‘act as if’ you think, feel and behave congruently as that future you. When you do this it signals your subconscious that this is what you want and who you are. You align all of your resources on your target goal. Obviously, you must believe in what you are doing.

Your goal must be worth it and you must believe you ‘are it’ and or ‘have it’ already. This is why ‘I am’ and ‘I have’ affirmations and Directed Questions™ are powerful and helpful. You fill your mind and being with positivity ‘it’ right now! Live IT in the present.

You Get What You Focus On – What You Focus On Expands

‘Act as if’ is a great practice and it works. In fact, it already is working for most people in the opposite direction. They act as if they will always have problems, be broke, unhealthy, unhappy and lonely. That is the predominant mindset of many. They perpetuate it.

If you want a different life YOU have to create it. It isn’t going to happen for you if you continue doing what isn’t working. You must take charge and make it happen. Think of your subconscious mind and your life as a wild horse running wild. You must tame it.

You must break the horse. Domesticate it so it is useful IF you want the horse to work with you in the future. If you let it run wild it will do whatever it wants to do. Your mind is the same. You must take charge and teach it what to do, otherwise, it does as it wants.

What You Think About You Bring About – It Is All About Focus

It does the only things it knows, It continues the habits that keep you precisely where you are right now and where you will be tomorrow unless you do something proactive about it. If you want your life to change you must change what you are doing. Change your habits.

Control your mind. ‘Act as’ if IS a great way to begin to gain control over you mind and your life. Affirmations, visualization, reading inspirational and motivational material or listening to audios a half hour everyday are part of the process. Monitor your self talk.

Direct your imagination. Aim it like a laser beam on what you want. Stop negativity and redirect it into positive streams of self talk and consciousness. Let go of problems and what you can’t do and focus on solutions and what you are able to accomplish. Do it bit by bit.

Either You Create Habits That Support You Or That Limit You

Create daily habits or rituals that support you in being, doing and having what you want. You can be, do and have anything you want in life IF YOU do the right things, repeatedly and consistently for long enough. You can create a real, positive difference! YOU can!

I’ll share some more ways you can use your imagination in up coming posts. You CAN pretend anything and master it. You already are doing it. If you can become aware of how you are already contributing to your problems you can overcome them. Truly!

Stop creating what you don’t want and begin creating what you do want. A powerful piece is to focus your mind and imagination. You become what you think about most often. What you focus on expands. This is why gratitude is a wonderful practice to engage in.

The Man Who Has No Imagination Has No Wings

Fill yourself with thankfulness and appreciation and you will get more of the wonderful feelings back. As you do your subconscious gets the message. Feelings drive everything. How you feel determines what you do or don’t do.

What you do or don’t do determines what you get! How you feel stems from how and what you are thinking about. Think positive, feel grateful and your life can and will change as you keep it up. Dabbling won’t create a difference, or if it does, not for long.

Success habits will get you bettter more desirable results! Make habits of those practices that make your life marvelous. Only you can do it for you. You must stop making things problems and difficulties and begin making things how you want them to be.

You Can Pretend Anything And Master It – You Already Have 

You determine the results you get and the life you live. You get back what you put out. Keep this in mind. Like attracts like. Birds or a feather flock together. What goes around comes around. You are the creator and the attractor.  So celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Become The Role You Play So Choose Wisely!

“From early on you borrowed the beliefs, values, rules and reasons of others. You made these yours before you could even decide whether you wanted them or not. Your mental programming was set and, experience you had, further supported your adopted mindset.

Of course, it had to support it because, as neuroscience informs us, we live from our programming. Our world view is first fashioned on the inside. THEN what we notice or don’t notice is dependent on that mindset.  It is dependent on our Reticular Activating System.

The RAS finds matches in the outer world and within our experience that matches our predisposition. Thus, we tend to think, feel, act and behave from that previous conditioning. We tend to play out the role we have accepted for ourselves from early on. Actors fulfilling a role.

To Guarantee Success – Act As If – It Is Impossible To Fail

In order to make changes we have to change how we think, feel and act. Manage your thoughts, take control of your thinking, and you will change your life. Your feelings and your behaviors will follow. It begins with thought, everything stems from your thoughts.

Think you are already it.  Act as if you already have it. When you do will feel it and become it. You play the role.  Behave the role, just as an actor does. Think the thoughts of the character and feel the part until you become it.

Act as if you are already a wealthy entrepreneur and you increase the likelihood of becoming one. Act as if you are already happy and you become happier. Act as if you are already successful and you become more successful. It works.  You have to do it to know it!

Live As If You Already Have It – Believe It – And It Can Be Yours

You travel in advance of the world by aiming your thoughts, feelings and behaviors at becoming what it is and who it is you want to become.  Act as if, first and reap the rewards, second. Plant the seeds first and then second you reap the harvest. It works this way. Do it!

Act as if you already have the home, car, money, career, whatever it is you want, feel grateful for already having it and you open the doorways of your own neurology to be more capable of getting it. You put your brain power on the side of making it happen.

Many people don’t act because they are afraid, they worry, they doubt they can’t get it or do it. They hope they might become it but don’t believe they can. When you act as if you engage your subconscious mind in helping you make it your reality.

Act As If You Are Already That Person You Want To Become

You pretend it fully. You act it. You rehearse it. You do what a happy, successful person does and you learn the thoughts, feelings and behaviors while pretending. You go through the motions as you would practicing a golf swing, or piano, or dance step.

When the going gets tough you get what you practice. If you want to be more successful practice being successful already. Rehearse it. Act as if. You can pretend anything and master it, if you are willing to. So take control of your life and the results you get by doing it now.

Feel the good feelings. Feel happy, rich, confident, attractive, persuasive, now. Practice, act as if, you already are any one or all of these traits. Feel grateful, enjoy it. Practice feeling certainty and powerful and positive. Celebrate yourself and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Little Known Good News You Have In Common With A Gardener

“There is some great news from neuroscientists. Perhaps, you haven’t yet heard it. It has been around for a while but for some reason it hasn’t received the attention it deserves. It IS a big deal and you should know it.

Some people struggle with the concept of personal change or evolution. They worry about how long things take or if they will ever see a new day. Some try, abandon it, and claim their efforts produced nothing. This news gives can give you hope if you’ve ever done this.

Your Thoughts Are Seeds Prune The Weeds Grow More Happiness

You can replace the old chronic mental habits and conditioning with new conditioning. Yup, that is the news! Wow, you are probably thinking, ‘you have already told us that many times. I knew that! Big deal’.  Yes, but it IS good news. Scientists call it ‘pruning’.

Just like what one does to plants in a garden you remove the old unwanted mental programs BY replacing them with the new. The old ones actually get starved nutritionally and die off. You no longer travel the old mental pathways because the brain doesn’t use them.

You starved them off by focusing on the new ones you prefer instead. In time, through correct repetition, your brain adopts the new ones. This is WHY managing your thoughts, getting control over your thinking IS so important. You CAN make the changes you want.

Plant Your Feet – Prune Your Fears – Pick Your Future

Your brain accepts WHATEVER you feed it. It will prune what you don’t use. It will grow what you provide for. You can be free from habits that have plagued you when you DELIBERATELY do what it takes to change them; focus on what is wanted and repetition.

That is simple enough. Stop feeding what you don’t want and feed what you do want. This is another reason why gratitude is so powerful. When you focus on why you are blessed, in so many ways, your focus is on the good and  the positive. You emphasize it.

You reinforce it by concentrating on it. You feel IT when you appreciate it. Like thoughts and feelings produce more like thoughts and feelings. When you feel like it you ACT accordingly. Your actions become more productive and you produce better results.

Fall In Love With Taking Care Of Yourself – Mind Body And Spirit

The better the results YOU produce the more you change your life. It’s cyclic. Feed what you want as a gardner does. Cut off and remove the old to make more room for new growth.  As you do your garden flourishes. Become excited by what you can accomplish!

Make your mental garden and your acutal life beautiful.  You can have incredible,  powerful and lasting changes! Concentrate only on what you want more of. Take control of your thoughts. You’ll create more good  as you focus, have fun, delight, appreciate and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
