How To Use Negative Thinking To Be Happy And Successful

“Today’s post is a response to a reader’s question. Ramesh asked, ‘You say that what you focus on expands. In EFT, one keeps repeating  “the pain ” and tapping the specific points.

While repeating the word pain aren’t we focusing on it more? Yet people are feeling better. This may not be your subject, yet I feel like taking your views is important for me’.

‘Thanks Ramesh. You raise an excellent question. What you focus on and give your energy to does expand. We become what we think about MOST of the time.

What You Focus On Expands

All of us have negative thoughts from time to time. It is human. All thoughts are human. What is it we are concentrated on most is the question? Are we predominantly positive or negative?

If we thought about pain constantly that is what we would get more of BECAUSE we are constantly focused on it. That is why sometimes while in pain it is difficult. It is hard to feel comfort thinking pain.

Our negative thoughts don’t need to be run from, but controlled. Our negative thoughts and feelings indicate that something may be amiss. It may be an area that requires our attention.

What You Think About You Bring About

For example, we may need to pay our bills. That is the reality. If we think, ‘I have to pay my bills, but I don’t have enough money’ that is what circumstances indicate.

If one stops there and continues to think, ‘I am broke, I have nothing, I will never get ahead, I will go bankrupt, the worse is coming’, then we are continuing to focus on the poverty of our circumstance.

Then it does expands. Energy put into it brings about more of the same. If instead, you think, ‘Okay, bills, money, how can I work to find more money? What positive things can I do to improve my situation, who can I call?’ You are proactively moving to positive.

What You Think About Most Often You Become

‘There is more than enough money in the universe how can I get some more? There is plenty and I can find it. I can be free. I am learning to become richer. What positive steps can I take.’

‘I’m going to do a job search and find something. I can succeed. I am a victor over circumstances. I can make good things happen. I always land on my feet. Good things come to me. I am a powerful creator. I can do this…’

One set of thoughts leads us to spiral down or stay stuck. The other leads to feeling better and positive action. Even the negative thoughts can be freeing. We can use them to move ahead. Consider:

Today You Are Where Your Thoughts Brought You

‘I have no money. I am broke and going to go bankrupt. This sucks. I hate this. I am going to make sure this never ever happens again. I am going to turn this around. Never again!’

‘I hate being without money so I am going to find some honest ways to make sure I will always have plenty. Others have a lot I can have a lot too. There is more than enough to go around…’

We can use the negative thoughts, and the negative feelings of anger or frustration to propel us from the negative stuck, broke place, into a more productive positive place.

Tomorrow You Will Be Where Your Thoughts Take You

BUT only if we don’t throw a pity party and wallow in ‘poor, me I am stuck and life is terrible’. We have to change our focus. Remove it from the less than glorious and focus on the positive, or glorious.

In EFT you focus on the pain while interrupting the pattern or energy flow by tapping . You look for the source of the discomfort and change the energy going to it. You break it up.

BUT first you have to identify what it is you want to break up and release. So you focus on it briefly while you change it. You do not stay focused on it.

You Cannot Escape The Power Of Your Thoughts

You evaluate too. Is this better or worse? You continue the procedure until relieved. Once relived you focus on feeling good. Generally, you may have positive thoughts accompany the taps.

You move your thinking and the statements you make from the pain to the relief you experience. You progress from the less than glorious to relief and then potentially feeling better. Consider:

You were walking and you noticed your foot hurts. You can keep walking and continue feeling the pain and thinking ‘ouch, ouch that hurts, it hurts’ and do nothing. Or you take a look.

What You Hold In Head You Can Some Day Hold In Your Hand

You discover a pebble in your shoe. Your remove it, your foot is a little sore but now that the pebble is gone. You notice as you walk it feels better. Eventually, you forget all about the pebble.

Because you noticed it you removed it. If you keep think about the pebble causing pain, now, it would be odd. It would be foolish and it wouldn’t serve you. Instead, you forget about it.

You walk more comfortably. With the source of discomfort removed all is fine. You can stop there. Or you can think. ‘I am glad I can walk easily. I love walking. I am grateful for my feet.’

Thoughts Lead To Feelings Lead To Actions Lead To Results

‘I am grateful for my body’s ability to signal me. I enjoy moving through the world. All these years my feet have carried me to various places I am so lucky. I am lucky to have healthy feet…’

You could promote more positive feelings. In fact, it is a great thing to do. When off course, or focused in the wrong direction, correct and think better thoughts moving in the right direction.

The trick is to notice what is amiss and correct it. If off course while walking, driving, boating or flying, once you correct and get back on course you no longer think about having been off course.

If You Don’t Like Your Results Change Your Thoughts

While off course it doesn’t serve you to keep thinking ‘I am off course’. It is better to think ‘I am moving back onto course. I am finding my destination and moving to it.’

‘What must I change in order to correct it?’ Then implement the change, get back on course, and focus on where you are headed. Keep your eyes on where you want to go.

We are lucky we have signals that let us know when we are off course. Our feelings indicate when our thinking is less than glorious. This is great! We have signals. Our thoughts determine our feelings.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You

Our feelings determine our actions. Our actions determine our results. We never need to fear our thoughts rather we should master them. Take control of your mind and enjoy it!

Make it a point to think positive most of the time. If you notice you aren’t, change it. Put a guard in front of your mind so you think positive thoughts and only speak and express positive thoughts.

Speak only to bless, heal and prosper yourself and others. Your self talk and your conversations with family, friends and strangers. This helps you move forward and get more of what you want.

Positivity May Not Guarantee Success But Negativity Never Does

Occasionally, you will have a negative thought, something triggers a thought from your previous negative conditioning or you have a random stray negative thought for some reason. We all do.

Or perhaps, someone else, or from TV or media you see or hear or brings up some negative thought or thoughts. Okay, that is what happened. Acknowledge it and say or think, ‘no thanks’.

Or ‘thanks, but I prefer to think this instead’ and shift back into positive thinking. The preponderance of your thought and energy is what makes the difference.

The More We Do The More We Are Able To Do

What we entertain further and promote determines how we feel. If we are positive 95% of the time, 80% of the time, 75% 60% 55% 51% we are better off.

At about 50-50% we are in a holding pattern. Not so good not so bad but probably not what we want. We aren’t really progressing and may be keeping tough times locked in, because we are wishy washy.

Equal parts negative and positive. For change to occur we need to move in the direction of mostly positive. For some people they need to get to 50-50 first because they are mostly negative.

Skill Comes From Doing

It is a conditioning process like exercise. The more you do the more you can do. They more focused on the positive the more positive you create and attract. Eventually they move up to 55% then 62%.

Then 75% and on. This is how they make progress in the right direction. Things get better and better. Life may still present difficulty or even very difficult challenges. That is life.

The more positive they become the more they can navigate the difficulty they encounter. The more control they exercise over their thoughts the more control they gain. The better they get at it.

Positive Thinking Like Exercise Is A Conditioning Process

Focus your energy on being mostly positive so you don’t get caught up in the negative. A ‘can do’ person finds solutions much easier and quickly than slipping into being a ‘can’t do’ person.

The more practice you get being ‘can do’ the easier it is to remain one when the going gets tough. I hope I have answered your question. If not please ask again and I will attempt to be more helpful.

The Secret: How To Stop Being A Crap Magnet

“Consider this. What you focus on expands. Energy flows where your attention goes. You become what you think about. Keep this in mind. Birds of a feather flock together. Like attracts like. Why do I point this out?

Because when you focus on your problems you get back more problems. Whether you focus on career or job related problems, relationship issues with family or friends, health issues or wealth issues if you focus on the problem you find, attract and or create more problems. When you focus on crap you get crap back.

When you try to solve your problems you only end up with more problems. You think fixing them will make things better but it won’t because your focus is on what is wrong. If you focus on what is wrong you get more of the same. You do this because of habit. You were brought up to try to fix and solve things.

Success Secret: Don’t Fight The Old Focus On Building the New

It is old, chronic, habitual, mental conditioning that does not serve you well. When you look for and find what is wrong you only end up with more of the same. If your present moment is fill with crap how do you expect to live a wonderful life? How do you expect to feel marvelous? I mean really, why would you expect it to be different?

To feel marvelous and live a wonderful life you must look for and find what is good and what is right about this moment. You must accentuate the positive and nurture it. You look for and find anything and everything to feel grateful about and your life will change. Focus on the good in the present moment!

Consider this. You are on the freeway and traffic is moving quite well. No hangups everything is great. Suddenly, someone cuts you off, gives you the finger, slams on the brakes and screws with your driving. It sucks! THEN what do you do. Right then, you probably get hot, call him an ahole, give the finger back, and swear a bit. Or some version of all this.

What You Say Is What You Get – What You See Is What You Get

BUT what really happens. IT ruins your drive. You focus on and recount to others the ahole on the freeway. You have lost sight of the fact that traffic was moving well and all was good. What looms in your mind is the negative moment. YOU do this because of habit. Your brain has been conditioned and wired that way.

You focus on what was wrong and ignore and forget about all the rest. You miss all the good stuff. It doesn’t even exist anymore to your preoccupied mind. Your physiology changed, you got stressed, angry and then you relive it over again doing the same thing to yourself. Don’t forget the good just because bad happens.

This is just an example but realize your focus, your state of being, your emotions, your energy, your thoughts all change around the problem. They will stay that way as long as you focus on it. So what do most people do. They go from problem to problem in life either complaining or complaining and trying to fix them. It doesn’t work!

Whatever You Focus On You Create

Your focus, your state of being, your emotions, your energy, your thoughts will change around what is right and good too. You will get the good thoughts, feelings and chemicals from within. Whatever you focus on you get more of it back. Happy states of being or turbulent states; what do you want for yourself and your life?

This is precisely why gratitude is so powerful. Look for and find all the good in your present. Find what is right! Find all the good from your past. Stop reliving old wounds. Stop surviving hurts and start thriving. You will discover powerful, positive changes occur for you when you let go of the negative and switch to the positive.

You can do this if you think you can. It is simple. Look around your and find the good no matter how tiny or obscure. Put your attention ofYou won’t if you don’t think you can. It is always up to you and only you. Stop trying to fix everything. You never will anyway. If you don’t think you can do this you won’t. The choice is always yours.

What You Think About You Bring About

Stop trying to fix yourself. Stop looking for what is wrong. Start looking for what is right, what is working, what your strengths, talents, abilities and resources are and focus on these. Be grateful and discover your excellent self. Fall in love with you at the deepest level. Enjoy and delight in you. Find all the good things!

Stop criticizing and blaming yourself. Start loving, feeling grateful for you and enjoy yourself. Focus your attention on what what works in your life. Focus on the positive and value it. Truly value yourself and every aspect of your history. Put your energy and attention onto these. Think these thoughts repeatedly.

The quality of your life is determined by what you focus on. The quality of your life is determined by how you focus your attention on what you focus on? Get that? How you look at yourself and your situations past and present determine how you feel. How you feel determines how much you enjoy life. Stop the negative.

Thoughts Become Things

Stop looking at what is wrong, doesn’t work, disappointments and hurts past and present. Start looking at the good, the new, the right, the positive, what does work. STOP and smell the roses! STOP and see the forest through the trees! Want to live a magnificent life? Stop and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Are Missing Is Why You Are Missing Out!

“What are you missing? What are you missing out on? What are you not noticing? Whatever it is could make an incredible difference in how things go and what kind of life you live? Did you know this?

Often we miss things because of ourselves. We filter things out. Our senses can’t notice everything. We miss things simply because we aren’t paying attention or we just don’t know to.

If we don’t know what other possibilities exist we are missing out because we are not aware. What we are missing, what we don’t know, what we don’t include is why we are missing out.

We miss things because we are distracted by other things. We are looking in the wrong direction or we are captivated by other more shiny things.

We miss things because things are in background and no light is put on them. We might miss things because people deliberately distract us or hide things from us.

The bottom line is we miss a lot. What is it we are currently not paying attention to, that if we were, might make an incredible difference for ourselves and others?

What are you not thinking right now that if you were might make a wonderful positive difference? Where is your attention? What is it on? Are you focused on problems or solutions. Lack of Plenty?

What do you believe and have believed that has limited you from taking action and doing what you want? It doesn’t matter so much why. There are always going to be reasons, valid or not.

We need to  look around and not be so gullible as to believe everything we see, hear, read, or get from any form of media including family and friends. That includes ourselves too.

We need to stay alert, vet things and be watchful. We need to wake up. We need to vet our own thoughts and beliefs if they keep us from living the life we want. We must become aware.

Lot’s of issues going on outside us.  We only need look around. Lots of things happening underneath that most likely we aren’t even able to imagine. It’s time for us to stop blaming and simply wake up.

Lot’s of issues going on inside us. We need to look within. If we see something that needs changing we need to change it. Become aware. Look, notice, see, recognize. Examine and do something.

What kind of thinking has held you back, that if you remove, replace or re-condition yourself, you could move forward in positive ways? What positive, productive possibilities can you replace it with?

If you don’t know, yet, that is okay? At least you might be searching. Perhaps, you didn’t even realize until recently that you could become more aware. Awareness is the first step in change.

If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got. To do the same thing over and over again and expect different results is, they say, the definition of insanity.

If you want your life to change you must change things in your life. To know what to do, but not do it, is to not really know. Every first step begins with you. Awareness is the first step in understanding.

If you know what you want to change, change it. If you make a mistake correct the mistake. You will learn from it. In actuality, there are no mistakes only attempts we learn from. Learning is experience.

So what positive thoughts are you not thinking, right this moment, that if you were, could make all the difference in the results you get and the kind of life you live? Find out and begin thinking them!

Look around you, look within in. What are you not grateful for because you haven’t thought to include it? Where can you put your attention that allows you to celebrate everything? And do it!” Rex Sikes

Quickly Go From Sad Or Mad To Glad – Anytime Anywhere!

“Would you like to learn of of the simplest, easiest and quickest way to go from feeling bad to feeling good, anywhere, anytime and with anyone?  Would you like to be able to transform moments of dissatisfaction into positive and valued moments?

This is absolutely the quickest and easiest way to change your feelings when life seems to suck. You can do many things, go for a walk, listen to music, exercise, get a massage and feel good pretty quickly. This will work wonders with so little effort.

Focus on what you are grateful for. You can do it in your head. No one around you would even know so you can do it on the job! It is absolutely effective and can readily move your from funk into more pleasant places.

Some people aren’t sure what to focus on or write down in their gratitude journal. Some even say they have little or nothing to be grateful for. Here are some samples. Read them over. It is quite simple. ANYTHING and everything can be included.

I even snuck a very personal one that will have great meaning to many people into the samples, see if you can spot it. Have fun!

I am grateful my co-worker noticed my new haircut. – I am grateful for my hairstylist. – I am grateful for the bargain I got on the hairstyle. – I am grateful for the free food samples at the grocers. – I am grateful for the parking spot I got. – I’ grateful for my pets.

I am grateful that gum I liked is coming back in style. – I am grateful the freeway was is easy driving today. – I am grateful I found the shoes I want. – I am grateful the lawnmower worked and I cut the grass. – I am grateful the coffee barista smiled at me.

I am grateful I found a dime on the sidewalk. – I am grateful for my children’s love. – I am grateful for my job. – I am grateful for the roof above my head. – I am grateful I have transportation to and from work. -I am grateful for the time out at the movies this evening.

I’m grateful I got my laundry done. – I am grateful my boss recognized my work. – I am grateful for the money I have right now. I am grateful I am keeping a gratitude journal. – I am grateful for the past mistakes and what I can learn from them.

I am grateful for this moment. – I am grateful for my health and well being. – I am grateful for my upbringing. – I am grateful for all obstacles and challenges. – I am grateful for my feet which have carried me all these years, – I am grateful for my body.

I am grateful for all the opportunities I have had. – I am grateful for my first kiss and the last kiss I just had. – I am grateful for masala dosa. – I am grateful for healthy food. – I am grateful for relaxing at home. – I am grateful for my favorite tv show.

I am grateful for my parents. – I am grateful for my mind and brain. – I am grateful for my blue pen. – I am grateful I have a computer. -I am grateful I have friends. -I am grateful people challenge me. – I am grateful for social media. -I am grateful for clean drinking water.

I am grateful I put my foot down last night and did not give in. – I am grateful I listened and was open to alternatives. – I am grateful they listened to me and accepted my point of view. – I am grateful they listened to me but did not agree.

I am grateful my children are stubborn. – I am glad my daughter says no to me. I know she will say it whenever it is necessary for her to protect her boundaries. -I am grateful my car broke down. Had it not, I wouldn’t have taken the bus and met Irma.

I am grateful things always work out for me. – I am grateful for rejection and disappointment it made me grow stronger. – I am grateful for the unexpected good coming to me. -I am grateful for right where I am in this present moment.

I am grateful my feelings alert me to when I need to shift my attention. – I am grateful for the contrast sadder moments provide me. – I am grateful for my family and friends. I am grateful  got fired. I don’t know  how it will work out but it always does.

I am grateful for all I am learning. –  I am grateful I always land on my feet. – I am grateful blue skies and gray days. – I am grateful for snow and how pretty it is. – I am grateful for tropical warm climate. I am grateful to be grateful. – I am grateful I can feel things.

Get it? Whatever it is, no matter how big or how small, feel grateful. List 25 or more things you feel grateful for in your daily gratitude journal. Begin to actually feel grateful. Feel the emotion of appreciation. Realize how blessed and fortunate you are.

Take inventory. Do it often. Everyday, morning and night. Miracles happen when you appreciate what you have and express your thankfulness. Anything is fair game. Make it a habit to look for, find and express your positive feelings. Anytime, anywhere!

You get more of whatever you focus on. If you are negative and focused on what you don’t have and don’t want you will stay stuck. Begin to really appreciate what you have, no matter how small or how little, and you will get back more of that. Stay positive.

One of the quickest ways you can make a positive change to almost instantly feel better and think better, anytime, anywhere, no matter who you are with is to feel and express genuine gratitude. Focus on what you feel good about and you will begin to feel better!

Whatever you can’t be grateful about is what you are limited by. Seek to include more and more things you can feely be thankful for. Expand your horizons and enjoy more. It is wonderful to find delight in all things. Explore, notice, include, list and feel wonderful!

When you feel better your brain works better. You are able to find solutions to problems more readily and recognize opportunities you might otherwise miss. You are more productive and you attract other positive people, events and circumstances to you.

Imagine having lots and lots of  reasons to feel good and to enjoy life. Be grateful for what you have and you make room to have much, much  more.  Even if you didn’t you’d still be feeling good. Get it? Do it!  The idea is truly to celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes

Strategies For Feeling Happy And Well-Being More Of The Time

Why do we feel bad? Why don’t we just feel good all the time? Is there a way to feel better more often? Should we? Some people say it is unrealistic to try to feel good always. Is it? If it were possible to feel better most of the time wouldn’t you want to?

First, I don’t know. That just seems to be the way of the world. The universe works on contrast and opposites. We have hot and cold, up and down, big and small, good and not good. We have contrast. The good news is we can utilize contrast to our advantage.

Just as night comes and it signals us to sleep and dawn comes and signals us to arise, feelings signal us as to what we are thinking and what is going on with us. They can alert us to issues that require attention and keep us safe.

Dashboard Signals Alert Us To What We Need To Attend To

Thoughts create feelings. Thoughts precede our feelings. Thought is a form of energy, lighter and quicker than feelings. An analogy might be water and molasses.  Emotions are a combination of our physical sensations combined with thought. Lighter and heavier.

Our thoughts seem to be fleeting, sometimes racing. Our feelings tend to linger. We notice the results of our thinking by what and how we are feeling. Good feelings our thoughts are positive. Not so good feelings our thoughts aren’t so positive, they are negative.

Focus is a major reason why we feel less than glorious. What we pay attention to and put energy into determines how we feel. Focus can be habitual and we hardly notice what we are attending to. Focus can be deliberate. Whatever we focus on we get back and more of.

Our Feelings Are Our Signals

We want to be clear about what we focus on. Negative focus, outside of our awareness will run the show. If we don’t realize we are complaining and blaming and focused on problems and negativity we will feel bad without knowing why.

We won’t know what to do about it and so we will tend to do more of the same. It will only get worse. In order to break the cycle we need to become aware and shift our focus to the positive. From can’t do to can do. From unhappy to happy. We get whatever we focus on.

We can monitor our thoughts by monitoring our feelings. Our feelings signal us that we might need to change our thinking if we want to feel better. Just as the results of our life are an indication of our previous thoughts feelings are an indication of our thinking.

We Become What We Most Think About

If we look at our life and don’t like the results we are getting in our present circumstances and we feel less than glorious it is a strong indication we need to change SOMETHING about our thinking. If what we are doing isn’t working we need to change it for the better.

That is great news. It gives us something positive to do. Sadly, most people, when they don’t like the results, end up whining, complaining, blaming and excusing. They drive themselves deeper into bad feelings and poor results. They create a negative cycle.

The wiser, more productive course of action isn’t to complain or to try to fix things in the world but to first fix the thinking that produced the issues in the world. Once our thinking is straighten out we have a better chance to resolve the rest.

We Get What We Focus On

When we are positive, clear headed, stress free we think and feel better. When we think and feel better we are more resourceful and our brains are better problem solvers than when we are stressed out. Literally, our brains shut down more when stressed.

We actually do not think, nor see potential options and advantages as readily as when we are feeling positive. This is especially the case with chronic stress and lingering melancholy or anxiety. To live better we need to make some thinking changes up front.

This is why I emphasize repeatedly the importance of gaining control of your mind and learning how to direct your thoughts. Times will arise when we feel less than glorious and we want to be able to move ourselves gently into better feelings.

Awareness Is The First Step In Positive Change

Whatever is going on, accept it and learn from it. Notice what it is and realize it is part of being human. Your emotions are signaling you something may be out of whack. Hooray, what a marvelous self regulating system we have.

Gently attempt to feel better bit by bit. The goal is not to jump from sad to ecstatic but to move from sad gently towards feeling ecstatic incrementally. Bit by bit. As you learn to do this you condition yourself to move from less than glorious to glorious.

Still, you aren’t yanking yourself from one into the other. It is more important to be able to learn to set direction and follow the course than to leap from one to the other. Allow for slower and steady progress. As you do you might find it easing up more quickly.

If You Aren’t Aware Of It You Are Not Likely To Change It

You don’t have to push it. It will give way as you gently nudge it and simultaneously control and direct your thoughts. So can we or should we feel better or happy all the time? You decide. That is the best answer. If you think you shouldn’t be happy always, why not?

Certainly, you may have reasons. Then also consider this. Happiness is a choice. You choose when and when not to feel happy. It is completely up to you. If you learn how to control your thoughts and feelings you can determine when you will and when you won’t.

First learn how to control and aim your mind so you have that as an option. The more often we feel better the easier more of life is. We think better when we feel better and vice versa. Our mind and body are part of the same system. Our job is to learn to use them well.

Thank Goodness For The Signals We Get

If everyday you engage in conditioning your mind and body pretty soon you would have mind and bodies in pretty good shape. They both need exercise, rest, and proper nutrition. Care for your mind and body and they will serve you well. Better than if you don’t.

The investment in brain and body care pays great dividends all along the way. You can experience better current and long term health. You can think and act more productively to get better results and accomplish your dreams and goals. Yes, there is a cost to taking care.

There is time, energy and effort required. If you let yourself go or never get in mental and physical shape, if you never know well-being, why expect to if you do nothing in order to have it? It comes at a price. The price is your willingness and your follow through.

Energy Flows Where Attention Flows

You can begin small and make great progress. It can astonish you with how doing little things consistently can positively impact everything in your life in big ways. Be sure you do something. If you always do what you always did you always get to remain the same.

Do things that you enjoy. Walk, gardening, working out, meditating, yoga, listening to music. Engage in activities that make you feel happier and more joyful. Read inspiring books, blogs and materials. Listen to inspirational speakers. Hang with positive people.

Select one or two simple positive affirmations and use them as a mantra to think and say over and over throughout the day, when needed and at anytime. Imagine, visualize, your ideal self. Enjoy the feelings that accompany your visualization and savor them.

Drop By Drop The Tub Gets Filled

Visualize your positive goals as if you already have attained them and notice the wonderful feelings. Make a daily gratitude and success list. Feel your appreciation for the people, events and things in life. List your daily successes no matter how tiny.

Journal your positive feelings, your joys, and your desires. Write about what you want as though you already have these. Appreciate what you do each day. Appreciate yourself. Smile more, laugh more, move your body more, skip, sing, dance. Get a massage. Sauna.

Rest, relax, nap, bathe. Take care of yourself. Create a brief positive morning rising ritual and one for winding down and going to sleep. Review your gratitudes and successes. Plan for a positive next day. During the day make it a point to feel your best.

You Eat An Elephant A Bite At A Time

If at times you don’t, stop, take a deep breath, and put your focus onto positive thoughts, your mantra or your visualizations, and keep bringing it back to these until you are able to keep it there. At first it may seem tough but it will get easier and easier the more you do it.

Your brain, your unconscious mind is a servo-mechanism. It is an automated servant. It learns by training. It learned to do what it does when you were younger. Now it is time to train it yourself to do what you want it to do. Condition it for success. It will serve you.

It will serve you well but you must do it. Your early conditioning was not done with your permission or input. Now it is time for you to determine to build positive habits that reliably serve you to live the life you desire to live. Once conditioned positively it will be faithful.

Plan For Success – Be Positive – Expect Unexpected Good

If you want to change your life you need to change some things. If there are two dogs fighting  within you, as the story goes, the one you feed and care for wins. The one you starve won’t. Strategies For Handling Criticism And Cruel Remarks. Do This!

Strategies to stop letting others hurt you. I got a request for a blog post on this topic. It is a great topic and a great request. I am happy to address it and give you and idea of some of the positive things you can do to change it from being a problem.

Listen to your own heart. Turn your thoughts and attentions to positive thoughts. Focus on your confidence. Make your Mantras ones of worthiness and self love. See yourself ideal. Visualize.

See your self resilient. Some people mentally put a protective colored bubble around themselves. Others just learn to let it roll off them as water off a duck’s back.

The Mind Is As Strong As It’s Weakest Think

You get what you focus on. If you focus on unwanted comments and let them hurt you they will. If you choose to ignore them and not let them bother you they won’t. The choice is yours.

It never hurts to develop a thicker skin so you don’t take what others say too seriously. When someone calls you a name realize it is really more about them than it is about you.

Understand this and rise above being offended or hurt. Stop being a victim. People project. We all do. What they find wrong about you is most likely more about them than it is about you. Know this!

You Get What You Focus On

Decide to be different. Learn how to let it go. Understand it is other people’s projections even when it is well-intended. Say thanks for sharing and move on.

Criticism from friends or foe is an opportunity to examine ourselves and grow. Say thanks. Examine yourself. If it is accurate apply the appropriate action or remedy to make the changes.

If not, let it go. Put everything into perspective as best you can. Consider the source. Be grateful you have friends. Learn to appreciate what you do have.

Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

If a loved one tells you something you didn’t want to hear, it may be well-meaning even if non-supportive. They don’t intend to hurt you. Understand this. They meant to be helpful. Be grateful.

If an enemy, well, why even bother to let it hurt you. What would you expect from an enemy? Let that one go right away. Don’t give it a second thought. It is an enemy.

Whether from friend of or enemy you might just consider it a gift. Often times friends won’t tell you like it is. Someone who doesn’t like you might. Consider this.

The More We Do The More We Can Do

If someone could tell you something about yourself, you didn’t realize, wouldn’t you want them to? What if everyone knew it but you? Wouldn’t you want some one to be honest enough to say it?

‘Hey you got a booger on your lip’ or ‘Your slip is showing.’ As if this last one mattered today when people where their underwear on the outside. But you get the idea, right?

Sometimes feedback can be useful even from an unwanted source, said in an unwanted way. We should want the feedback that helps us grow even if we don’t like getting it. Be open to valuable input.

When People Hurt You Repeatedly Think Of Them As Sandpaper…

Choose to think differently. Decide to learn not to let other’s opinions bother you. First remember, opinions don’t matter. Everyone has one. So what? Don’t fall apart because of one.

Learn to control your thoughts and direct your mind. When negativity comes your way, recognize it and choose to focus on the positive. Direct your mind elsewhere productive and positive.

Do not be a victim of someone else’s crappy behaviors. Don’t allow yourself to suffer because people are stupid, cruel and unkind. Realize they have more to lose by being the way they are.

… They Scratch You And They Hurt You …

If you are a nice person. If you attempt to live well, respect others and don’t succumb to trading poisonous barbs then rise above it all. Feel sorry for the low life’s who can’t. Pity them and move on.

Develop you confidence and self-esteem. Use affirmations, visualizations and condition yourself. Develop your strengths and accept and let go of your weaknesses. Or develop them too.

If you can change something change it. If you can’t accept that you can’t and change something else that you can. Like your attitude. Change your attitude if you can’t change the other things.

… But Later You’ll Be Shining And Polished

In fact, just develop the attitude of a winner, a champion and a victor and you will be less likely to be susceptible to frivolous attempts to hurt you. You’ll be less like to be overly sensitive to well meaning criticism.

Well, there are a few things you can do. There are more. Perhaps, we’ll discuss them another time too. Meanwhile, gratitude works wonders. If you preoccupy yourself with being grateful for everything you are less likely to get hurt.

You can find the silver lining in the dark clouds. Look for the good behind all things. Miracles can happen when you are thankful. You get back more of what you focus on so focus on the best and let go of the rest. Be grateful, truly appreciative and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

This Is Precisely Why Your Life Sucks But You Can Change It!

“You have tried positive thinking and the law of attraction but it just doesn’t seem to work. Perhaps, you gave up. Career stuck, debt is mounting, you just aren’t all that happy. You know what you want but you aren’t sure you’ll ever get there. Right now sucks.

What to do? How do you get what you want in the future if you don’t like what is going on right now? Well, you absolutely won’t if you throw in the towel are or negative about it. That won’t help at all. However, there is good news. Frankly, great news for you!

The Law Of Attraction or The Law Of Creation, as I like to call it, because actually we are responsible for everything we have and don’t have, always works. Once we accept this we can better work with it. The LOA or LOC means that what you focus on you get.

What You Focus On Expands

If you want money and you don’t have any and you focus on your current debt, dire circumstances, lack of cash then that is what you create and attract more of. Your focus determines what you get. Good or bad, right or wrong, true or not you get what you focus on.

Why? Because your focus determines how you feel. Remember thoughts precede feelings, feelings precede actions, or lack of actions, and actions determine our results. SO our thoughts determine our results. Our thoughts create our results.

We create and attract what we are. Because what we are feeling is what we are. If we feel great we get more back. If we feel crummy we get more back. Stop whining about it and realize that is how it works. You have to face it to work with it. Accept it and use it.

You Get What You Focus On

Stop overthinking EVERYTHING! When you think about what you want, AND that you don’t have it, yet, you are actually keeping it away. You move one step forward then back You are stuck. Let go of present circumstances and focus on what you want.  Enjoy now!

In order to live better today and have a better tomorrow you cannot focus on the gap between then and now. You must focus on all the good right now to get more good now and later. You must focus on the wonderful feelings no matter what the circumstances are.

Do you understand this, yet? It means controlling your thoughts, and your attitude. Direct them to what is right, good, feels great and keep them there. Ignore what you don’t want and prefer to avoid. Stop focusing on the gap, the lack, the dire and the yucky.

You Present Circumstances Are A Result Of Your Thought

Focus on anything and everything that is good and right and bright, no matter how small, and keep your attention there. Lot’s of tiny things add up. Look at the beach. Find them. Find all the reasons why now is wonderful.  Affirm that. Declare that. Be grateful! Enjoy!

Most people tell stories about how things suck. How they got sick, how they went broke, why their kids are out of work and living at home,  what the economy did to them, how their partner causes them pain on and on. They tell downer stories all day long.

What does that tell you? It tells you they are focused on what isn’t working, they are focused on suffering and lack. They repeat the stories again and again to anyone who will listen whether that person is interested or not. People tell and live their stories.

The Present Moment Is For Enjoying

Remember, you become what you think about. What you repeatedly think, feel, and do becomes habit. If you keep doing the same thing over and over you will get the same results. Your life won’t change until you change what you are doing. Repeat the right things!

Build good habits. Condition your mind to automatically think positive thoughts that cause you to feel good. Condition and steel your mind to focus on the good, what is working, what is right and enjoyable about now. Live it and repeat it. Tell these stories!

For gawd sake CHANGE YOUR STORIES and YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Start telling stories about how things go well, how things are right, how wonderfully things are working out. Talk about how good things happened are happening and will happen.

Live With The Attitude Of Gratitude

Take your life back for goodness sake. Stop whining, complaining, excusing, bitching, moaning, pissing on the positive and begin to live life as you were meant to. Be the author of your life. Re-write the chapters. Make it a life story about success and happiness.

When you do everything will begin to change for the better. It will take time just as planting a seed and reaping the benefit takes time. SO focus on how wonderful it is in the meantime and by the time everything manifests it will be even better. Enjoy all of the present!

USE NOW to have a marvelous THEN. This is HOW it works. Focus on the incredible and ignore the horrible. Feel wonderful most of the time during your day and you will be creating and attracting more wonderful feelings, moments and all good things.

You Become What You Think About The Most

If you want a wonderful then make it a wonderful now. Only you can do this by managing your thoughts and directing your mind to stay positive. As you do you condition it to work for you in powerful ways.

You create new positive automatic and reliable habits to keep moving forward. You bring about what you think about. Thoughts are things. Live well and you will live well! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Transformation Doesn’t Happen Doing Things That Don’t Work

“How do you get what you want when circumstances seem to run counter to what you want to accomplish? What do you do when faced with real problems? What does it mean to ‘think positive’ and control your thoughts and direct your mind?

This is a follow-up from my last post. I switched posts today to include this response to a question I was asked. I decided to utilize it as my blog for today because the information applies to all areas of life. Be sure to read tomorrow’s blog as well.

Yesterday, I included a quote from Napoleon Hill that said we should get beyond our differences. The question asked was this, ‘How can this be accepted when there is an other that wants the worst for you? I mean real harm and is doing it.’

Socrates Secret Of Change Don’t Fight The Old Focus On The New

I have added some additional information here not included in my original reply. When I say ‘you’ I always mean, you and me.

Circumstances are almost never ideal for what you want to accomplish. The must be changed. You must push through them to get what you want. You decide what you want and focus on getting it.

The reason many don’t succeed is they sit waiting for conditions to be perfect before they try anything. That day rarely arrives. So they wait and they loose out. Wait all you will. Do nothing and nothing is what you get back.

Those who make their way dictate the circumstances. They plant by taking action and preparing the soil. The get it ready, plant the seed, and nurture it to fruition. The do what it takes to get what they want. They make the conditions work for them. They act.

Change Starts In Your Thoughts

You rise above it. You don’t stoop to another lower level. You get what you focus on. If you focus on harm you get harm. If you focus on hate you get hate. People need to focus on what they want to create and ignore what they don’t want.

If someone chased you down the street – run and get safe. THEN stop thinking about that event and create what you want for the future. If you think revenge you only perpetuate the cycle of violence. You must go beyond it.

Circumstances are almost never ideal for what you want to accomplish. The circumstances must be changed. You must push through them to get what you want. You decide what you want and focus on getting it. Circumstances may never be ideal. So?

Transformation Is Often More About Unlearning Than Learning

Those who make their way dictate the circumstances. They plant by, taking action and, preparing the soil. The get it ready, plant the seed, and nurture it to fruition. They do what it takes to get what they want. They make the conditions work for them. They act.

FACE it in all the thousands of years war has never succeeded. An eye for an eye has never ever succeeded. We still have war and we still have violence. Perhaps, we ought to do as the song says and actually, GIVE peace a chance.

We don’t get better by focusing on what is wrong unless it moves us away from what is wrong so we can focus on what is right. Fear won’t make you safe.  You can be locked behind closed doors completely physically safe and still exist in fear.

Fear can be a signal you need to be safe. But then you need to remove the fear from your mind and your mind from the fear. Otherwise, you can die in fear behind safely locked doors. How is that a better life?

Begin To Be Now What You Will Be Hereafter

You become what you think about. You attract what you are. Success breeds success. Happiness breeds happiness. Poverty breeds poverty. Sickness doesn’t breed health nor well-being. You don’t get well thinking how sick they were

ONLY by becoming what you want to have more of will you get what you want more of. Rise above the low levels, the low standards, the hate and violence. Become someone who doesn’t feed the negative.

Keep in mind the story of the two dogs fighting. The one who wins is the one you feed. Stay positive starve the negative.

Are there threats out there. Sure.  If you wonder why and dwell on it you feed it. If you decide to act safely, sanely, positively and peacefully your life and those of others might be better. If you decide to love others maybe others will too.

Go First

They certainly won’t if you don’t. Someone has to begin it. If you insist the other side starts before you do it will never happen because you still are living in blame and accusation and continuing to create more of the very things you claim to want to end.

Go First! You have to go first and be a trail blazer and an positive role model.  Be a leader and one who inspires others to do the same.

IF you want peace be peaceful. There really is no other way than to become what you want to be. It is BE, then Do those things consistent and congruent with your being and you will HAVE.

Poor, unhappy and the hateful think it is the other way around. If only we have it a certain way, or eliminate certain people or things then we could do those things that would make us be happy, successful, safe or better of.

Be The First

Or they think if they have the right conditions then they will be successful, happy and safe then they can do whatever their heart desires. It doesn’t work either of these to ways. That is why so few are successful, happy and safe. It is BE, DO, HAVE.

Hate mongers do what is consistent with their hate. They behave and act hatefully. So they have more people hate them as a result. It doesn’t end when you do the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. It hasn’t yet, has it?

It only can end when you break the cycle of doing what you do not want. The problem is hating is working to create more hating. You have to stop hating.

YOU have to stop hating FIRST for the possibility of it to end. If you ultimately want peace being pro war, pro hate, pro intolerance and violent you will never have it.

Be A Powerful Positive Inspiring Leader

You have to stop the cycle of violence and DO anything else in a positive direction. Then there is a greater chance for success.

Consider the rule of reciprocity which means if I do something nice for you, you feel obligated to return the niceness. I take you out for dinner and pay the bill what do you feel like doing in return? Take me out too, right? ‘I got it this time, you bought last time’. right?

Well, if I give you the finger and call you a name what do you feel like doing back to me? Only worse. Only bigger and harder so you teach me a lesson or so I can never again do it to you. Think of all the drivers flipping each other off. Road rage.

It takes two to tango. It takes, or more, to fight. If you don’t engage what is the other left with. If they give you the finger and you don’t get riled and return it what are they left with. It only gets out of control when people feed it, invest in it, engage in it, contribute to it.

Who Do You Lead?  Why, Yourself Of Course

If you don’t react with anger they drive off angry but it doesn’t escalate. SO in order to keep calm someone has to go first. Someone has to behave that way. Someone has to BE calm! Not pour gas on the fire. Disengage, withdraw the energy and put it into positivity.

Be peace, be love, be kindness, be generosity, be open. Be it, do it and you can have it! That IS how it works. Birds of a feather do flock together. Create a conspiracy of love and peace and happiness.

Create a world where there is enough for all (and there already IS enough for all) and more of the world will become nicer and nicer. Be a thought leader. Inspire others to positive action. Be a role model.

In order to get along YOU have to get along. In order to keep hate alive you hate, or do nothing, but worry about it. What you resist persists. Love could conquer all if people would BE more loving.

You Don’t Have To Be Great To Start

Be what you want to have. DO what you are and you will have more of that too. Whatever you are you get more back. We attract what we are. We attract what we are feeling. People respond to us.

If you are unhappy you get more unhappiness back. If you are broke and worried about debt you get more back. If you are happy you get more back. If you are rich you get more back. Whatever you are positive or negative you get back.

IT simply works this way. We have to face this and work with it.

Your results are an indication of what you are creating. What you are creating is a direct reflection of what you are thinking. Thoughts become things. From within to without.  If your outer world is disorganized it is because your inner world is first.

But You Have To Start To Be Great

Our actions speak louder than words and reflect who we are. What we have is an indication of what we think or don’t think. The outer world reflects our thought world. We create what we think about.

Use your thought intentions to create peace. Project love and peace and blessings. It may take some time and enough people but eventually it can work. It will take sometime because war is profitable for those who cause them.

People who can’t wrap their head around how we can have a peaceful world simply continue to perpetuate what we have. Their best options don’t solve anything because they aren’t at a different level where the solution exists. They are fighting fire with fire.

Want to be safe. Create a safe place. Make it safe for everyone. Work for what you want not against what you don’t want. Sadly, many who want safety don’t want it for everyone. They want  fear and chaos because they can profit.

Transformed People Transform People

They want to eliminate the threats rather than have real peace. They want war instead of solutions. We have to say no to these, then let go and turn our attention to creating what we want.

It is never going to happen by accident. It is never going to happen without resolve and commitment. It may take decades and decades. There is always a price to pay for success in anything.

Dedication to the cause. Athletes know the price of a gold medal. We shouldn’t expect anything to be without commitment. When we truly commit we can change ourselves and the world one by one.

You don’t pretend that problems aren’t there but instead of focusing on them you focus on what you want. Note the issue, use it to determine what you want and then focus on getting what you want.

Im Possible

I fell down today leaving my house. In my past I would have complained and bitched. This isn’t the perfect analogy but my point is, steer your thoughts to what you want to be, do and have in the future.

Today, I thought, I want to house with a safe entrance. For the purpose of this example, I could have focused on what is wrong with the house and complained and moaned about it. Instead falling made me think about what I do want. I want a safe entrance to my house.

What we do between now, the issue, and then, the future, is important. For the future to be what we want it to be we need to be it now. Tomorrow is based on today’s thoughts and actions.

We need to focus on what is good and right and working if we want more of that, then. If we focus on what is wrong and not working we will have more of that, then.

Limits Like Fears Are Just Illusions

NOW is the only time we have. What we do in this moment IS important. It determines what will be. BE now what you want the future to be. Accentuate the positive.

Take those positive actions to make it better. Then you can have a more positive future. Yet, too many people get distracted. The look at what they want, then they focus on what is wrong.

Then they remind themselves of what they want and then look at how it hasn’t happened yet. The focus on the gap between then and now and wonder why they have a problem. People stay stuck that way.

They stay stuck because of what they spend their time devoted to. The look at how they don’t have what they want yet and get more of the same in return. They create the absence of what they want.

Our Beliefs Aren’t True We Just Believe They Are

To make it work you have to maintain your predominant focus on what is wanted. You can’t go back and forth and expect to move much. Focus, focus, focus! Positive, negative, positive negative. It will always be negative mostly until it is mostly positive!

We become what we think about most often. We get what we think about day in and day out. If we are wishy washy we stay where we are. That is why more people don’t create better lives or all of us create a better world. We are distracted and wishy washy.

All of the media, the politicians, the religious leaders focus on what is wrong, sinful, bad, and how we don’t have enough, won’t have enough of and how others are out to take our share. They keep us thinking we are broken and there isn’t enough for everyone.

IT is a huge distraction that keeps us from uniting to focus on what we could have if we would aim for it. Stop being distracted. Get clear about what is possible and aim to create it. Stop buying into others agendas and let’s set ones good fore everyone.

Be Willing To Challenge Your Beliefs And Limitations

We need to tip the balance in favor of what we want. Simple enough. If you can’t see how that works THAT is the problem that first needs to be resolved. Become what you want to have in the world FIRST then you will see the way. Celebrate everything now and you can celebrate everything even more in the future. ” Rex Sikes

Doubt Kills More Dreams Than Failure

You need to believe in yourself and know that you can make a difference. You must know you can make you dream come true if, you believe you can and, you take action to accomplish it

Doubt Kills More Dreams Than Failure Ever Will!

Failure is an opportunity to learn. All failure is temporary unless you throw in the towel and quit. What kills more dreams than failure? Doubt! It is sad when people doubt themselves instead of trust.

You may not know how, yet, but if you move forward, you will see farther the further you go. Standing here right now you may not be able to see the forest through the trees but it is there.

With your seeds planted in the ground there may not be any evidence that you can see that they will break ground and grow into wonderful strong thriving plants. You must patiently wait and trust.

If You Think You Can Or You ThinkYo Can’t You Are Right

Circumstances around you may be difficult and you aren’t yet able to see your way to the future but don’t give up. Stop, and instead of doubting, decide you will do whatever it takes to get what you want.

You can take whatever positive actions, that benefits you and others, and move forward step by step, bit by bit, getting closer and closer to your goal. Obstacles are only speed bumps.

They may seem insurmountable but they are not. Here is a suggestion for you. Trust yourself! Doubt you will fail. If you are going to doubt put it to work for you. Doubt your problems will last.

Thoughts Are Things – Choose Good Ones

Doubt that anything is too difficult for you to prevail. Doubt that circumstances will get worse. Doubt that you are limited in any way. If you have to doubt anything use good taste. Doubt your doubts.

Make it work for you. Decide you won’t let doubt win. You win! You dictate how things will be. Trust, have faith, believe in yourself and know that when you come from your power you can do anything.

Believe in yourself and believe you will make your dreams come true. Do whatever you need to, to keep the lamp lit that lights you way. Focus on the positive, focus on the CAN DO and do it.

What You Think About Most Often You Become

Never let hard times or old, chronic, habitual conditioning keep you from being, doing or having what you want. Never let a negative thought or doubt rob you of your dreams.

Align your resources and move forward. Steel yourself. Know champions may have doubts from time to time but they push through them. You can too! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Are You Bigger Or Smaller Than Your Problems?

“This is an critical question. Are you bigger or are you smaller than your problems? If you have big problems it means you are a smaller person by comparison. Do you think you will solve them at that size?

I have written and shared within these pages that what you think about you get. An immutable law of the universe. Whether positive or negative you manifest what you spend most of your time thinking about.

Your brain doesn’t care whether it is positive or negative, good or bad for you, true or false it just provides you with more of the same. Your Reticular Activating System seeks matches inside and outside of you.

Believing Is Seeing

Nothing has any meaning except the meaning we assign it. The world went on prior to the arrival of humans and no one judged days as good or bad, catastrophic or calm and wonderful. Humans make evaluations.

Enter the human enter judgements. Days became good or bad, weather became good or bad. Situations became good or bad large and small. We assigned meaning to these for the first time.

There is no intrinsic meaning without human perception. That is all there is, our perceptions. Our perceptions are formed by our previous past conditioning, our experiences, the beliefs, values and opinions we have formed.  We use these and assign meaning.

Nothing Has Any Meaning Except The Meaning We Assign It

Perceptions are limited by our neurological processes and filters, our five senses. We don’t see the world, situations and events as is, we perceive these only in part. We can’t perceive the entire picture, through our processes and filters. We have limited info to begin with. However limited it doesn’t stop us from making judgements.

The purpose of this blog is to inspire, motivate and show you how else things can be. If we’re going to believe a fiction why not believe one that serves us better and supports us to make positive things happen. Believe the best version you can and make it happen.

Since we have been conditioned and respond from that conditioning automatically whether we want to or not, perhaps, it is time to change our conditioning  to respond automatically in a way we would like to. Then we could begin to get the results we want to get.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

I have shared with you the importance of developing a positive CAN DO mindset instead of a negative can’t do one. We become what we think about most often. So become a powerful person of action.

Our thoughts determine our feelings, our feelings our actions or lack of them, our actions or lack of them determine the results we get. Thoughts precede actions.

Can Do helps make more things happen than can’t do. A Can Do person is a person focused on solutions. If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right. Remember?

You Get What You Focus On

What you focus on is what you get. Are you predominantly focused on what you want or don’t want,? Do you celebrate what you have or focus on what you don’t have?

Do you love life or is it just okay? Are your problems big or small? Think about this for a moment? If your problems are big it means you are a small person. It should be the other way around.

I have discussed living as a winner, a victor, a champion an emperor. Why? Because the mindset of these are dedicated to success and accomplishment. You should be bigger than your problems.

You Attitude Determines Your Altitude

I write of an unstoppable attitude, one of commitment and persistence and often discuss Olympic Athletes as examples. These athletes know the commitment conditioning takes.

They commit, train for 4 years or longer, whether they feel like it or not, for seconds worth of competition. Those who get to compete are world class whether they medal or not.

The attitude, the dedication is wonderful. It is admirable. It is the kind of dedication we should have. Train your brain and your thoughts as an olympic athlete trains their mind and body.

If You Have A Big Problem It Means You Are A Small Person

So here is my question? What size are you? Are you bigger or larger than your problems? Are you in charge or do they dictate how you and life will be?

When you think about them do they loom over you or do you understand that all obstacles are there to learn from, resolve and move on. We grow through our struggles. We evolve.

The kite rises against the wind. Steel is hardened in the fire. Are you a champion or not? Are your problems larger than you or are you larger than the problems?

It Is All A Matter Of Perspective

Stop focusing on the size of your problems. Begin focusing on the size of you! The bigger you are inside you own mind the more easily you can handle things. The more we do the more we can do.

It is time for you to decide, don’t you think? Dedicate yourself to becoming solution focused instead of problem focused. Focus on what you want not lack or problems or what you wish to avoid.

Stop focusing on the problem and begin to focus on your goals and dreams. Take charge and determine you will pay attention to what you decide to pay attention to. You can aim your attention.

Decide Right Now To Be Bigger Than Your Problems

Steel your mind. Adopt the winner, the victor mindset and put your problems into perspective. There is no meaning except the meaning you assign. So assign meaning that works for you and supports you!

It is time to become larger than life and live like an emperor. Live as one who can and does successfully resolve difficulties no matter how difficult. Be the champion, the victor, the emperor.

Most negative people think of problems as overwhelming. Most successful people understand that all problems are simply things we handle on a daily basis. They are no big deal. They can be handled.

Be The Champion Be Unstoppable

They master their problems instead of letting problems master them. You can too. Devote yourself to learning to master your problems, handle them, and you become unstoppable

In an earlier blog I wrote about David and how he rushed and slew Goliath. David didn’t see Goliath as a giant and a massive threat, instead he trusted and declared that this day god would prevail.

Cut your problems down to size. Stop whining about problems and start seeking solutions. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. What you say is what you get. Focus on solutions. Focus on your goals.

Your Future Depends On Your Decisions Now

The outer results are only a reflection of what is going on in your inner world. What you experience today comes from prior thoughts and conditioning. If you want tomorrow to be different you start your change today. Think differently and your life changes!

Decide you will be bigger than any problem Decide to be the victor, the champion, the emperor. Dictate your results don’t let them dictate you. BE bigger.

Someone once said, ‘the size of the problem doesn’t matter but the size of you does.’ Put your problems into perspective. This is what you can do. You can decide to never let a problem rob you of any success of happiness.

Our Struggles Make Us Stronger Celebrate Them

You are competent and able to handle anything that comes your way. If you don’t know how you can learn how.Your struggles are making you stronger as a result. You are tried and tested by fire. The kite rises against the wind.

Inside every challenge is a learning and an opportunity if you look for them. Live as the victor. Live large. Be the emperor of your life. Know you can handle anything.  AND celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
