Champions Aren’t Born They Are Made!

“Champions hone their mindset. That is the first rule. Everything else flows from there. Mindset is the winner’s edge. Mindset leads to feelings which leads to behaviors which leads to results. In order to get the results you want you must have the right mindset.

Champions know this! If you want to be a champion in any endeavor  it is important for you find things you appreciate, small and large miracles, good and new discoveries, and the best thoughts and feelings you have, so that you stay inspired and dedicated.

The person who succeeds is the person who ‘wills’ it to happen not who wishes it to happen. You make all the changes inside of you to be better equipped to handle all those aspects outside of you. You handle the challenges and opportunities that come your way.

You Will Be Where Your Thoughts Take You – Focus Focus

You make all the changes inside of you tso you are optimistic, positive, powerful and committed to your outcome. You won’t do it if you wimp out AND you won’t wimp out if you have a powerful mindset. Develop your ability to remain positive no matter what.

Positivity is not ignoring anything. It is not saying ‘there are no weeds.’ It is realizing that no matter what you can handle the weeds and make your garden beautiful. It is not being stopped or quitting where and when others would. It means you keep going.

You keep going because you know that as you do you will reach the finish line. The goal is important but how you journey to it is equally as important. Your attitude determines you altitude and whether you journey well or not. Conceive it, believe and you will achieve it. Attitude is everything. Everything is an opportunity. So celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Become A Champion

“It is the consistent, persistent, daily actions that bring success in all things, your family, your health, your wealth and career, your life. Daily dedication to doing something positive moves you closer to your goal and makes all the difference.

Start with a clearly, well stated goal. One that is a passion or a ‘burning desire’ for you. See it in  your mind’s eye,  the mental images of your ultimate goal. Envision it daily (as often as possible) and infuse it with positive energy and enthusiasm. Keep at it!

Do not give up! You keep at it until you get it. This IS your daily regime. Your mental nutrition. Visualize and affirm it. Declare it yours. Imagine you are already it. Imagine you already have it. Live the future in your present. Act as if your future is right now.

Persistence Guarantees That The Results Are Inevitable

Keep your goal alive in your mind and in your sights. Keep it burning. Stay passionate and enthused. Believe in your heart and know in your head that you will have it. YOU will ATTAIN it! You will make it happen because you will never give up. You will see it through!

Once you quit, it is over.  So you must not stop. Keep the faith.  Keep going no matter what is going on, or not going on, around you. Do not let present circumstances distract you from getting to your end game. Champions do. this.  Their mindset is everything!

Keep this goal burning hot in your mind. Focus on things to be grateful for. Feel good about your progress. When you do, you are opening up your mind to discovering greater opportunities, events, situations and people that can help you to reach your goal.

Champions Keep Playing Until They Get It Right – Keep Playing

Your mind awakens and you can think more clearly and easily about how you will make it happen. You form plans using your creativity, your intuition and your smarts. You may have to adjust the plan as you go along but  that is just part of the process.

Each day you move forward and make adjustments as necessary, but no matter what you keep moving forward toward your ultimate destination. This is how champions condition themselves. They develop their mental powers and take charge of their lives.

YOU WILL GET THERE as long as you keep going toward it. No matter how long it takes, or how many detours there happen to be, you will get there if you just never stop! How To Understand And Utilize The Learning Curve

“Each person, the learner, needs to realize there is a learning curve. As you go through it you need to take time and relax. Enjoy the process of learning. You may be learning something you never knew or have done before. Be gentle on yourself. You are a newbie.

When learning adopt the attitude that it will be fun, there may be speed bumps but you can get over those easily. Stop pressuring yourself to be perfect doing something you never have before. Cut yourself some slack. Go easy. Stay with it. Play with it. Enjoy!

Whenever you do the correct things, repeatedly, consistently, for long enough, you begin to make that a habit. What I just described is the process of habit formation whether you intend to create one or not. Everyone of us has gone through this process infinite times.

The More We Do The More We Become Capable Of Doing

We develop the neural pathways of thought, feeling and behavior through repetition. Trying to stop a habit is difficult. Replacing one habit for another is much easier. It still requires the same process to learn the new habit so be patient. Be persistent. Relax and allow it.

When you go through the process of deliberately choosing a new mindset you’ll discover new ways of being opening up to you. When you first start the process of change all your former habits revolt attempting to keep you the same. It happens to everyone. Relax.

Recognize this and relax!  it is a good sign. It truly is. The barriers and walls and blocks will eventually crumble. The fact that they are fighting with you means you are on the precipice of change. There is the saying ‘old ways die hard’. They’ll fight. You’ll win if you persist.

Children Learn So Much More Through Play And Pretend

Stop responding the old way! Begin responding the new way. Yes, it takes commitment but it is worth it. It happens more quickly the more you accept the process. Don’t fight the process. Just stop! Negative thoughts or feelings will arise as you move forward.

Keep moving forward. Shift away from the negative. Focus on the positive. DO THOSE things that help you feel a bit better. Develop success habits. The only way you develop them is to do them over and over again until they become supportive reliable habits.

Keep the faith. Enjoy the process even when it isn’t enjoyable!! Think of it as  building your mind and will as you would build your body. Regular routine nutrition and exercise, long enough until you get the results you want. Then, it gets easier and is maintenance.

Notice It – Own It- Play With It – Stay With It – Make Learning Fun

Play with the things I’ve offered you. Begin by mastering the basics. That takes time. Yes, it takes commitment and effort. Nothing is free! If you want heat from the wood stove you need to cut the wood and put it in the stove and light the fire prior to getting heat.

So when you notice yourself thinking or feeling less than glorious, stop, breath and shift your thoughts and your physiology to something more productive and positive. Move, walk, sing, dance, smile. Think positive and keep thinking positive. Stay with this.

Stick with it. Keep at it. Let go and relax and have fun. I promise you IF you did nothing but made gratitude a habit and celebrated your life, moment to moment, most, if not all, issues would resolve, as if by magic. IT ISN’T magic. It is you doing it!

Only You Can Do It – No One Can Do Or Decide For You

The world may still hurl crap at you but you become different and learn to respond differently. SO stop thinking you need to get or be somewhere else. The destination is not the goal. Learning how to enjoy the journey right now, this moment, is the only goal you have.

Take care of the present and the rest will take care of itself. Live with passion and positivity. Enjoy this second. Celebrate it even when it seems hard. THAT is WHAT IS! That is the moment. You can enjoy it or choose not to, but that is what life offered right now. I suggest you transform yourself by leaning to celebrate. When you do YOU transform. So celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Lots Of Things Are Hard So What? Get Over It!

‘Perfect’ practice makes perfect. The more we do, the more we can do. The longer we do it, the easier it becomes. Juggling is difficult, movie making is difficult, swimming is difficult, learning to walk is difficult. Good thing it occurred  when we were mostly pre-verbal.

Most things are hard at first. Some remain challenging but are completely doable and can be mastered. So get over the thought it is difficult and do it. As an infant you’d have never rolled over, sat up, crawled, walked, fed yourself or learned to talk, if you could talk.

You’d have whined and complained it was too hard and you couldn’t do it. What stops most people is a mental packet of energy called a thought and/or a feeling, as in ‘I don’t feel motivated’. Enough with the BS! Find a way to do it or at least stop whining! Okay? DO IT!

The More You Do The More You Become Capable Of Doing

It is time for people, for you, to learn how powerful they, and you, are. Psychologists and the media want you to think you’re broken.  This is so they can control you. Big medicine, pharma and the elite powers purposefully attempt to usurp your power and positivity.

Their interests are to turn people in worker bees and wage slaves who follow orders and stay in line. A disempowered populace serves the elite rather than themselves. People, you are amazingly resourceful and can overcome anything! Time to wake up and live!

You can accomplish so very much! YES, it may be difficult at first but it gets easier as you do it. Even if the deck were stacked against you, some break through. You should count yourself as one of them. Stop being a victim and a puppet! Become a powerful person. Live strong!

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Exercise you choices. Make your dreams come true. EVEN if it is tough, for goodness sakes, do it! If you don’t live your dreams you will live someone else’s and make them rich while you do. Decide to better yourself. Learn, develop, and get free. Design your mind and your life. Do whatever positive, powerful and legal things it takes to advance yourself and help others. Live strong! Success Comes From Steady Progression

My last post included this quote ‘Success is the steady progression toward the realization of a goal,’ by Earl Nightingale. To succeed, all you have to do is keep progressing toward your goal. It is never over until it is over. You decide that moment. Many quit too soon.

Keep moving forward. An inch moved in the right direction, is progress in the right direction. Whether you get there slowly or quickly, you get there. Remember, the story of the tortoise and the hare? The tortoise methodically made it to the finish line.

You can too. Keep the faith. Keep doing a little bit each day. ‘Drop by drop the tub gets filled.’ You are not in a race. Remember that and keep the following in mind. Steady, positive progression is all that is needed. As long as you are progressing you are succeeding.

You Become What You Think About Most Often Each Day

Keep going. Keep making progress toward your goal. YOU can make it happen. You will! Just don’t quit. Never give up. You will learn and grow in the process. You’ll make mistakes and correct them. You will find or create a way. Along the way, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Are You Cut Out For Happiness And Success?

“‘Success is the steady progression toward the realization of a goal,’ said, Earl Nightingale. Some give up while still progressing. They quit, throw in the towel on their career, romance, business or life goals. When quitting isn’t an option, most people can succeed.

Statistics demonstrate that most people quit right before they would have succeeded. Most businesses fail within a couple years. Had they been able to stick it out, they’d have soon succeeded. Are you cut out for success? Will you do what it takes to get to the top?

Mindset is the key factor that determines how far you go. You either decide you are all in, or you decide to opt out. No one can tell you when to cut your losses and change direction, but you. Of course, you can take advice from worthy mentors. That might be wise.

Winners Never Quit – Quitters Never Win – Which Are You

Choose someone one who has what you want and started out as you did. This mentor should be successful and knowledgeable in the lines you desire to get mentored about. Don’t go to a farmer about banking or a banker about farming. Get it? Go to a qualified expert.

When it comes to mindset, you can make awesome progress in your evolution alone, and especially with a good mentor.  Mindset determines how far you go, your level of commitment and persistence. Make it a point to daily work on your attitude.

Commit to positive, powerful thinking. Take charge. Learn how to direct your mind to go after your goals; to make happen what you want to make happen. Stop wishing and hoping things change and change them yourself. You can, when you realize you can.

Winners Fail But They Don’t Quit – Winners Fall But They Get Up

It is all up to you. Champions know this. It’s time you learned it, too. Champions aren’t born. Champions are made. They condition their mind and body and finely hone their mental and physical skills. They invest in themselves; their time, energy, even money, in making it so.

Don’t you think you deserve to be a champion? I do. I believe you can. You must believe it, too, because it doesn’t matter what I believe about you. Take hold of your thinking and feeling power and begin to make these work for you. When you do, truly, you will celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What To Do When Support Is Needed

“It isn’t cool to gloat over the trials and tribulations of anyone. Nor is it cool to further kick someone when down or when they screw up. We all can stand to learn this. Hopefully, we can be sensitive to others when they are going through tough times, friends or foe.

It isn’t for us to judge.  Most of the time, the worst moments of our lives are our most powerful, defining moments. We only discover this when looking back on them. Unless, one is wise enough to realize everything is a blessing, if we choose to view it that way.

Speed bumps in individual life and collective lives are evidence of evolution and change. Not much more, really. We change, we grow, we rise, we fall. Hopefully, we get up again, because we can. It is in getting up that we learn our strength and our tenacity.

Encourage Believe And Love Yourself – Never Lose Faith In You

Prevail by persisting. Face the demons. Face Goliath and conquer him. Whatever holds you back, whatever the limitations in thought, feelings, actions, know how or skills, won’t stop you if you don’t let it. Keep moving in the direction to getting your goals. Make it happen.

Help others when they need it. Be willing to lend an assisting or supportive hand to friend, stranger or foe. Do the same for yourself. Be your own best, non-judgmental friend. Encourage yourself. Give yourself a friendly pat on the back and a kind word. Do the same for others, too. Consider all a blessing and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What And Who Determines Your Success? The Bad And Good News

“The great problem for most people is they believe they’re victims of circumstance, events and other people; others and circumstances determine whether they, the individual, rise or fall, succeed or fail. They believe ‘something else’ is responsible, not them. Do you?

It can be blatant or quite subtle. I overheard someone the other day say, what a positive thinker they were, but how the economic downturn caused them to go under. On and on this person went. Is this an accurate description of reality? Perhaps, but perhaps not.

If you believe others and circumstances are responsible for you then, yes, to some degree it is accurate. Your beliefs shape your reality. However, it’s more likely that these outer forces influence you, and your decision, but don’t cause you to fail or succeed.

You Are Unstoppable When You Believe In Yourself

What you do determines whether you succeed or fail. Thinking outer forces control you is believing in magic and fantasy. If you believe outer forces dictate your fate then you have no choice, you are predestined or merely a puppet. Something else is in charge.

Do you get this? Hey, a bridge can be out, and you must take detour, that is an influence. Whether you continue to your destination is up to you, not the bridge. The weather can be bad. You might be delayed. Whether or not you continue on eventually, is up to you.

The economic situation can change. You could lose everything. Many do. Many become rich during the worst of times. What you do in that situation is up to you. Your life partner can leave you. How you continue on, is up to you. Yes, or circumstances can influence.

Don’t Be Pushed By Your Problems Be Lead By Your Dreams

What each of us, needs to cultivate is the belief that you are powerful. You have the ability and inner resources, even if hidden, to make your dreams come true. If you somehow, don’t have the inner resources, you can learn to  develop them, so you can succeed.

Believe in yourself more than outer influences. Those who do make their way to success and happiness. They don’t let anything or anyone rain on their parade. They keep their attention, and intensity, on where they want to go and, believe and, work to get there.

They don’t give up. Those who throw in the towel or quit don’t cross the finish line. Realize you are in a process of becoming. You are in a process of learning. You are in a process of creating your path. You are in the process of gathering your resources and making it happen.

Follow Your Dreams – Believe In Yourself – Never Give Up – Do It

Everything I have shared with you in these daily blogs helps you to understand and cultivate the beliefs and everything you need. My recent videos and audios, and workshops for decades, have been designed to assist you in making your life the way you want it.

When you apply, these tried and true principles and approaches, handed down from ancient times to present, backed up by research and the success of countless hundreds of thousand who have used them to succeed, YOU can too. Whether you do, or not, is up to you.

To know and not to do, is to not know. If you don’t consistently do what can help you to be better and make your dreams come true, don’t complain. Complaining, whining, excusing and blaming others and yourself is pointless and detrimental. It doesn’t help anyone.

Your Mind Believes What You Feed It – Feed It Positive Thoughts

Dedicate yourself to becoming the best. Do, at the very least, a little each day, and you will get there much quicker than doing nothing at all. Do you get this? The more you do, the more you become capable of doing. Engage. Plug in ! Do it. Cultivate the beliefs and attitudes.

Develop the mindset that gives you the edge. When you think and feel you are successful, no matter what, then you can be. Mindset first! Practice gratitude and appreciation. When you feel your best you bring about the best. Mindset first! Get it? If you do, then take charge. Take action and celebrate everything! Rex Sikes

Your Answer To This Question Will Determine If You Can Succeed

Most people claim they are ready and willing to be happy and succeed. Most may even claim they have had enough of life the way it has been and they want it to be different. They will do anything to get out of debt, depression, anxiety and fear. BUT will they?

Will you? What most people claim and what most people do are  worlds apart. The honest answer to my question can determine the likelihood of whether or not you change AND whether you change easily. You can’t bullshit a bullshitter. So be true to yourself.

That is the most difficult thing to do, sometimes. If you really want to change you must face certain things. Here is the question: How willing are you to change? That is it. What is your willingness to change quotient. Are you actually willing to change your life?

If You Want Things To Change – You Have To Change

Okay, I asked the same question three different ways. So what is your answer? Many people say they will do anything to change, but they won’t. What about you? If you truly want your life to change you must change some things in your life. You can’t remain the same!

If you always do what you have always done, you will always get the same results. You will continue to get what you have always got. Get it? Unless you are willing to change, and actually change things, everything remains the same. You need to learn new habits. So…..

How willing are you to change? How much money will you spend? I bet some went, ‘Whoa, money! I’m not going to spend money? This will cost me? I can’t afford much. Do you know how much debt I have? It is always about money!’ Or some variation. Right. Did you?

If You Want Things To Be Better – You Have To Be Better

It always comes down to money, doesn’t it? Well, yes and no. How much time are you willing to dedicate? Someone just thought, ‘I have no time as it is!’ Or some variation. What are you willing to give up or go without? Would you give up your favorite TV show?

Would you go without your favorite show, or past time, for a year, if it meant you could get your goals and live your dream life? Would you give up junk food;  Alcohol; Tennis: Golf; Poker; Whatever it is? What are you willing to give in exchange for changing your life?

People say they are willing but, more frequently, do nothing to change. Would you read positive, books and articles and blogs for an hour each day? Would you for 30 minutes? 5 minutes? What are you willing to do? Would you listen to inspirational audios? Well?

If You want To Have More – You Have To Become More

How about you take a seminar or program. Attend a learning event or workshop. Would you commit to a weekly, or monthly, meeting? What will you do to change? The bottom line is your change IS going to cost you something! Either money, time, energy or habits.

Either you pay the price or you don’t change. Get it? You can’t do everything the same way you always have and expect things to be different. That is truly insane! Right? That IS the definition of insanity. To be different you must do things differently! Get it?

So how willing are you to do whatever it takes to get what you want? That is the question. How willing are you to change? What is your willingness? If you say you are very willing then prove it to yourself. Take some immediate action in that direction. Don’t wait. Do it.

Your Life Is A Reflection Of Your Thoughts and Feelings – Mindset

If you wait, you won’t! If you have to think about it, you won’t. Old habits die hard. Do it right now. Do it within 24 hours. That way you convince your brain you are serious about changing. Take action in the direction of the changes you want. Don’t let it go or it goes away.

People give lip service to change but make all manner of excuses. They whine, complain, and blame. They say, ‘If you only knew how hard it is…’ Blah blah blah. Anyone can make an excuse. If the first thing that goes off in your head is one, learn to change that. Do it!

You need to develop automatic, reliable, supportive thought, feeling and behavior habits, that are aligned, to help you get yourself what you want in life. We all have many that distract and keep us limited, weak, angry, doubtful and fearful. We need to change these.

So What Positive Good Will You Do To Change Your Life

When you shift from the less than supportive habits to the more supportive ones sometimes there is inertia to overcome. ‘Old habits die hard’. Still, we can change. Sometimes in some time. Sometimes instantly. But only if you are willing, can it happen. Are you willing?

How willing are you to change things, so that you transform your life for the better. I show you how in these blog pages every day. There are tips and suggestions, powerful principles and practices. Do you use and apply them? Do you go back and study these blog posts?

What do you do to make you, and your life, better? To develop a new habit you must consistently, correctly, apply yourself. That means daily, even numerous times during the day. So how willing are you to change? How committed? Be honest. Be true to yourself.

What You Hold In Your Head You Can One Day Hold In Your Hand

“What we hold in our head, we can some day hold in our hand. That is a statement you may or may not be familiar with. It means we bring forth that which we picture or imagine. Without a definite plan or image we drift, results and life are haphazard. Who knows what?

So we create a strong internal image of what we want to create and focus on it daily. We make daily concentration on our image or goal a habit. This informs and trains our subconscious, our treasure chest of resources and hidden abilities, we want to make THIS happen.

Then we take the steps necessary to create it. Recently, I wrote that a sculptor gets an idea, gathers the materials, fashions the medium into the final end result. The sculptor creates it. It is the same with each of us. We concentrate on our goal and translate it into reality.

Visualizing Is Daydreaming With A Purpose

Focus daily on what you want. It can’t be a whim, it must be intense. You must be passionate about it or you won’t make it happen. Vision boards are good. It’s a poster with pictures on it of what you want to create. Put pictures on the dash of your car to remind you.

Pictures, drawings, photos around the house or work space that bring your attention back to what you want to create. Journal about it. Carry with you and read your goal statement at least twice a day or more. These help put your attention on it. Visualize it 5 minutes.

Energy flows where attention goes. Focus on your goal, intensely. Imagine being it, doing it, and having it already. Enjoy and enhance those feelings. Be grateful for this. Believe you can make it happen. Be certain you will do it. Certainty, comes in time. It really does.

Fill Your Mind With Positive  Pictures And Your Life  Will Change

If you don’t already feel certain about it, stay with it. You will develop the certainty over time. Do it! It comes through daily commitment.  Delight in the creative process. Be glad you are a creator. Take charge. Make it happen. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
