This One Thing You Have Makes All The Difference!

“You may not have anything. You may not have riches or even a car or home. There is one thing you have. You have your own word. Always keep your word. Keep your commitments. Never break a promise. Don’t be late. Always be prompt and  on time.

It may not matter to you, but it ought to. It may not matter to all others, but it matters to some. You have your own concept of your own self worth. You have your self image. If you physically have nothing, that might be temporary, but you always have you.

You always have your integrity. If you make a deal, and end up not liking it, honor it. You might seek to renegotiate, but if that doesn’t work, honor your promise. Don’t break your word to others, because when you do, you break your word to yourself. That really sucks.

Stay Loyal To What You Said Even After Your Mood Has Changed

You are known by whether you are reliable or not; whether you have integrity or not; whether you walk your talk or not; whether you are honest and trustworthy or not.  When all is said and done, YOU only have yourself. You came in with nothing, and will go out the same.

You only have yourself. What is yourself worth? It is worth what you place on it. You are only as good as your spoken and unspoken word. You make yourself more valuable by keeping commitments, being on time, adding value to others and going the extra mile. Truly, you do.

Give without expecting to get. Celebrate others’ successes even when you don’t have your own. Uplift and edify others. Recognize their efforts, encourage and enable them. Support others. Go first. Attitude is everything. Mindset makes the difference.

Stand By Your Word Don’t Give It If You Aren’t True To Your Word 

If you are genuine in your heart, honest with yourself, and in your dealings with others, your temporary disadvantage will give way. People of value rise to the top because they stand head and shoulders above the rest. Make certain you do. Be that person.

Be filled with gratitude. Feel marvelous. Think positively. Allow your positivity and positive vibes to be infectious. Be inspiring. Be motivating. Feel incredible. Be thankful. Be appreciative. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. You will rise to the top. You will prevail. You will win overall when you feel blessed and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Life Won’t Change Unless You Change Things!

“Things will remain the same unless you change them. Of course, it is true that change is constant, but that is not the point I am making. If you do absolutely nothing, things may turn out better than you expect in the long run, but that could take many, many years.

Change happens regardless. However, how long it takes may matter to you. If you want things to change for the better in the nearer future, then you must implement some positive changes that move you forward in that direction. Are you understanding this? I hope so.

You can’t do things the old way and expect new results. If you don’t know what you do not know, and aren’t aware that there is more that you don’t know, or understand, then you always only function from the limited, conditioned understanding you have had. Get it?

Your Life Will Never Change Until You Change Something You Do

In order to change more easily and readily you need to open up to what else may be possible, even if you don’t know what that is, or believe it is possible. You need to open up to potentially life changing information and practices that may seem foreign to you. Get it?

You can’t do things the same old way, repeatedly, and expect to get new, better, different results. YOU have to change things. You have to change yourself, your mindset. You need to expand it to include possibilities you may never thought existed for you, previously.

You have to get out of your own way, and out of your own thinking box. We all do. We need to stop limitations from preventing us from exploring new pathways. We need to overcome the limitations of our old thinking, to awaken to new thoughts and possibilities.

Old Habits May Die Hard But You Won’t Change Until Those Do

We do this through awareness. We do this through practice. We practice and we notice. We use what we notice, to change. It is an evolutionary process that helps us wake up to new ideas and potential. Become aware of what stops you. That is only one step.

From there you must implement a means to get past being stopped. You must shift and put into action new thoughts, feelings and behaviors, that move you to where you want to go, AND in the manner you want to go. It is all up to you. Here is the good news.

Since you can’t know everything, you can’t know what you don’t know. You can only see, and move, as far ahead as you are able to see, and move, ahead. When you get to that point, you can then see further ahead, and move on. Step by step you make the journey.

To Change Your Life You Have To Change Yourself

I, sort of, repeat what I said in my last blog post:

What if you could develop the strong, certain belief that you always land on your feet, no matter what? What if you thought of yourself as  bigger than any obstacle? What if you were certain unexpected good always ends up coming your way? How might life improve?

What if you fully realized that in the end it always works out for the best?  If it ain’t the best, it ain’t the end yet. What if you knew for sure, you always land on your feet?  What if you could develop the strong, these positive strong beliefs? You can. Put these to work!

You do it the same way the old, limiting ones were created and made habit. You repeatedly think them over and over and over again until you believe them. You affirm with strong feelings! You imagine and visualize, and affirm with great feeling. You act as if it is all true!

To Change Yourself You Must Change Your Mental Thought Habits

That IS how it is done. There are other ways to include too, that I have already shared, and will again. Meanwhile, you need to understand it is mental conditioning and mental nutrition same as the physical kind. You progress through diet and exercise.

Feed your mind positive thoughts. Repeat it over and over, daily. When negative things come up, become aware, shift away from them and begin thinking the new positive, powerful beliefs. Condition yourself. You will have to do it again and again.

Get used to that! Practice gratitude and appreciation for everything. Delight in challenges because within all adversity are hidden seeds of possibility, equal good, and important learning that can move you forward. Feel wonderful, think positive and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Understanding Is An Amazing Thing: We Don’t Know What We Don’t Know!

“Most of us seek clarity and understanding. We want to learn and grow and develop.  Here is an amazing thing about understanding. We understand what we understand. Even then we may only partly understand or miss many things. We never know it all. Duh, right?

What we don’t understand, we DON’T understand. Most importantly, we may not even realize, we don’t know what we don’t understand. In other words, we only, always, have a partial picture. We never get or know all of it. All our understanding IS incomplete.

We tend, however, to think otherwise. We tend to think as if we know everything, when we don’t. One of the ways this manifests is when we face crises or bad times and are certain things will get even worse. We don’t think it will turn around. We focus on bad times.

Life Is Much Better When We Realize We Don’t Know Everything

Get it?  We don’t know what we don’t know about the ‘bad times’, and we can’t see the future, we can’t see, yet. Get it? It is not certain and it is unclear, but we may act, feel and think it is certain. We should not. We should remain open to the potential for change!

We need to recognize we don’t know everything! We only know what we pay attention to, and we can’t pay attention to everything. We only pay attention, for the most part, to the things we have been conditioned to pay habitual attention to. It’s Habits! Not only that!

We pay attention in the manner in which we were conditioned to habitually pay attention to things. That is why the saying, ‘if you want your life to change, you must change some things in your life’, is crucial to understand and implement. Things will remain the same.

Insanity Is Repeating The Same Thing Expecting It To Be Different

More next blog. Meanwhile, explore the possibilities that you don’t know everything about you and your situations. Be open to the possibility that you could transform everything for the better, now, instantly, or over time. Anything good, is possible. Consider this.

What if you could develop the strong, certain belief that you always land on your feet, no matter what? You are bigger than any obstacle. Unexpected good always ends up coming your way. In the end it always works out for the best. If it ain’t the best, it ain’t the end yet.

Try those on for a change! Practice gratitude and appreciation for everything. Delight in challenges because within all adversity are hidden seeds of possibility, equal good, and important learning that can move your forward. Feel wonderful, think positive and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Stop Being So Petty And Your Life Will Change!

“Life is filled with woes and challenges. So are the games we play. If we weren’t challenged in sports or board games of any kind, they would be dull and not worth the time spent. Life is filled with ups and downs. You can moan about it, or decide it is an adventure to enjoy!

Believe you can handle any situation that arises. You are bigger than any obstacle or challenge. You can learn from adversity instead of buckling under it. Focus your mind on what you want. Let go. You can’t control everything, but you can appreciate everything!

Give yourself room. Know that, believe with certainty, that things will always turn out for the best, given enough time. With the right attitude and focus you can over-come doubts and fears. You can overcome anything that prevents you from living your dreams

Obstacles Do Not Block The Path They Are The Path  – Enjoy All

Stop being petty and stingy with yourself. Start being your biggest fan. If you have to be selfish, determine that will include being, doing and feeling your best, and making the wisest use of your choices and time. Give generously to you, and others, and you’ll get more back.

Look for the good. Notice abundance all around you. Feel the good. Feel blessed. Feel healthy, wealthy and happy. Savor and enhance the good feelings. Vibrate high! Keep a gratitude journal. You will begin to notice more coming to you. Mindset is everything!

Your mindset and attitude determine what you create and attract. Keep in mind, even more than attraction, it is what you create that matters most. Some people just focus on the wrong things. Begin focusing on what you can do. You want to live the best life ever then enjoy everything, be grateful, feel blessed and celebrate everything! Rex Sikes

If You Don’t Do This You Won’t Get Ahead

“For the last 100 years, and beyond, successful people, leaders, have told us, ‘if you do this ONE thing you can succeed.’ They’ve told us there is nary a chance of success if you don’t do this. It is deemed crucial for success. If you are struggling, you haven’t done it.

You can’t get to where you want to go if you don’t know, and haven’t set, your destination. You must know where you want to head. It must be clear, concise, specific and well-defined. You absolutely should write it down and look at it numerous times, daily.

Napoleon Hill, called it your Definite Chief Aim or Purpose. Some call it your biggest goal or dream. If you want your GPS to take you to another location in your future, you need to put in the exact address to get there. If you haven’t yet done this, do it today.

You Only Need The Roadmap And The Courage To Get There

How do you clarify what you want? One way is to ask yourself, ‘what do I want?’ Write it down. Another way is to ask, ‘what do I not want?’ Then, write down the opposite. Make sure it is positively stated and doesn’t include words like’ don’t’ or ‘won’t’.

Instead of saying, ‘I won’t eat sugar,’ state what you will eat instead. ‘I will eat healthy snacks,’ or ‘I’ll have a piece of organic celery’. This tells your mind what you want and will do. You can picture eating a healthy organic snack. Eliminate, ‘don’t’. ‘I don’t want to be fat’.

Rewrite that as, ‘I will exercise for 20 minutes daily,’ or ‘I will eat healthy snacks and meals.’ Get it. Phrase it positively for what you can and will do. So write down your major goal. ‘I will make an extra 100 dollars this month’. ‘I will speak nicely and kindly to my children.’

The Journey Is The Destination Too  How You Journey Is Important

You have to know what you want. Where are you headed? Consider this: you can’t tell your GPS where you don’t want to go. NOT ONLY THAT but it would be stupid and pointless. You only want to get to one place and there are countless places you don’t want to get to.

Define your goals and dreams. Your goal or dream, your Definite Chief Purpose, must be really important to you. You must absolutely want it, or it’s unlikely you will get it. If it is just, ‘sort of’, important, you won’t go the long haul. It isn’t worth it.  Get it? I hope so.

You must think about it day and night. Look at your written goal frequently. Recite it out loud. Keep it in the forefront of your mind. You must feel good about it. Know you can make it happen. If you doubt you will, then you won’t. You must want it and feel good!

The Easiest Path To Take Is One Already Made – Model Success

It must be absolutely important. You must believe you will make it happen AND feel good, feel great, about it when you think about it. If you don’t feel good about it you won’t make it happen. I’ll share more next time to help you with this. You must feel good about it!

It is up to you and no one else. Decide you will do it no matter what. The act of writing it down helps you crystalize it in your mind. You actually begin creating it by writing it out. You take it from an idea, to on paper. From paper, the blueprint, you make it a reality. THIS IS how it works.  Be glad. Be grateful. YOUR best attitude is necessary! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Secret: Everything Changes When You Do!

“Remember, perception is everything. It IS all about mindset. Everything is in your head. It is all a matter of how you look at it. If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right. You become what you think about. What you focus on expands. It’s your choice.

True abundance comes from within. Most people think it is about getting things, but it isn’t. Yes, being, doing and having can be part of it. Happiness is not off in the future residing in that ‘perfect’ home car, mate, or job. It is here, now, inside of you. Find it. You can.

True abundance is the ability to be grateful right this instant and feel blessed. It means not needing anything. When you need something you notice the distance between you and what you need. You know it isn’t here now, because you need it. Same can be true of wants.

We Are What We Repeatedly Do – Excellence Is Is A Habit 

Enjoy what you have. Celebrate what IS. Count your blessings. Be thankful for the good and not so good times. Both contribute to your overall wellbeing. You  don’t think so. You have been brought up with preconditioned biases, that make up your chronic conditioning.

Mindset rules us. What we think about repeatedly we believe. So if we think tough times ARE tough, they are. If we think tough times are times of lessons and opportunities, they are. It is whatever we think and say about it that makes it so. We create our own reality.

When tough times come have a party. Celebrate, because it’s an opportunity to find something better in life. It certainly could be. If you always react to tough times as you always have, nothing changes. There is opportunity around you. Get it? It is up to you.

To Change Your Life You Must Change Some Things In Your Life

Perhaps, the only reason tough times are tough times is because you haven’t thought about them any differently. You always think about them the same. Tough times may change but you haven’t. Get it? You react the same. You think and feel the same. Change it up.  Be free!

Adversity can be a test. The challenge provides an opportunity to learn something great about yourself. You have the opportunity to excel. Something positive can come your way because that’s the kind of person you are. Love your life. New things happen, when you are.

You manifest. You live a life of service. You add value. Every moment is magical. You are open to receiving all the miracles and all the magic into your life, moment to moment. It is an incredible life. Live it in high vibration.  Be thrilled. Enthused. Joyful.  Love. Laugh.

We First Make Our Habits Then Our Habits Make Us 

All is good, always. Be optimistic, up beat, high vibration, filled with joy. All IS good! All, will always, be good. It has been good. Be secure. Become certain. Come to know it in every cell, every atom, every fiber of your being. Make this a new subconscious habit. Do it!

When it is a habit, it is reliable and automatic. When shit hits the fan you automatically  celebrate. You are constantly positive and remain optimistic. Instead of focusing on what is wrong, you believe it will work out and look for opportunity and solutions. You remain at ease.

You don’t let it get you down. You go have fun and enjoy yourself in spite of circumstances. You can do this because you have learned how. You have trained yourself to respond differently. If you want your life to change, you must change some things in your life.

Break The Bad Habits And Make Better Ones – You Can Do It

Change reacting badly to less than glorious times into responding resourcefully. When you do the correct thinking, feeling and acting, consistently, for a long enough duration of time, you develop new habits. You recondition yourself. SO learn to master yourself now. Take charge. Live in gratitude and delight. Everything changes when you do. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Give And Get More Back

“You want a better a career, relationship, economic situation, and life? What can you do to more easily have that? Do you attract it or do you create it? What is it about giving? Why does going the extra mile work? Why does tithing seem to work?  What gives with giving?

When your attitude and mindset is in a place of giving and you give to others, yourself, or in tithing, you’re coming from a place where you have something to give. You’re not coming from lack. You’re not coming from scarcity. You’re not coming from poverty. Get it?

You’re coming from a place of giving. You are generous. You create abundance because you are living from abundance. You are giving out of your plenty, even if you’re plenty is meager. Do you get this?
You are going the extra mile. You do more than is required of you.

Only By Giving Are You Able To Receive More Than You Have

You give. By giving you create. You have faith. You are  doing what is good and beneficial for you and others, too. You energy vibrates high. When your attitude and energy is high you tend to attract and, more importantly, create the same or similar energy. You create!

As the saying goes, ‘If it is to be, it is up to me.’  You are investing in yourself by thinking beyond yourself. You are helping others. You are giving back. When your mindset is right you create the climate, the attitude, the ambience for good things to happen. Responsibility.

it is your responsibility. Whether you believe it’s god blessing you or the universe, infinite intelligence or your subconscious, whatever you believe is your belief. It is your mindset. It is your perceptions, and that is fine. I have no argument with whatever you choose.

It’s How Much Love We Put Into Giving Not How Much We Give 

When you are generous you invite generosity back. Like attracts like. You create generosity and you get generosity. It’s not that you give it out and away from yourself. You actually give and benefit. You create a loop of giving and getting by giving without wanting return.

From your giving you believe you have enough. You believe it will return. Whether or not it returns is not a concern of yours. So your mindset is incredibly abundant. You don’t feel you are worse off by giving but you are better off from giving.  You create. It is positive.

You are living from gratitude, not stinginess. You are living from blessing. You are moving the energy. You are creating flow. Money is energy. The flow of money is energy. It is nothing more than that. It is from the exchange of money people get wealthy, not by hoarding.

You Don’t Have To Be Rich To Give Generously – Go The Extra Mile

If you have a pile of cash and do nothing with it, you truly are not rich. You have stockpiles but you aren’t benefiting. You benefit when you move it. Wealthy people keep money moving. Money moving, or circulating, grows an economy. We will explore more next time.

For now, live with gratitude. Cultivate the mindset of plenty. Affirm, visualize, create the feeling of having more than enough. Imbibe those feelings. Feel wealthy. Feel free to give. Wealth is not just money. It is many things that cost nothing. Learn to enjoy these.

Wealth is family and friendship. It is sunshine and rain. It is all the good around you and in you. It is your free time. Be grateful. Create inner wealth and abundance.  Give! What you hold in your mind you can one day hold in you hand. Appreciate and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Positive Thinking Is A Scam Don’t Believe It!

“In order to get really good at anything we must practice the right things, consistently, long enough. Not only practice but practice correctly. Because, we can practice wrong, and develop bad habits. Frequently, coaches have to correct, learned, bad habits in sports.

It is important to get proper, qualified, coaching right from the start. It is important to practice, correctly, right from the start. Given that, what else can one do to learn and grow positively, more easily and quickly? Practice maintaining a positive attitude in all things!

A positive attitude does not mean ignoring the negative. It means using the negative to get to the positive. When a negative thought occurs shift to the positive. If you think something you don’t want, or feel bad, once you become aware, change it, to what you do want.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Positive thinking means you take into account contingencies, so that you have plans, in case things don’t go the way you want. It is not airy fairy ‘I can walk on water’ or ‘I can fly’ mentality. It is, ‘I could learn how to do these things with the right know how and equipment.’

It is knowing how to pursue your goals and dreams and remaining faithful to them, when the going gets tough. It is learning and knowing that you can get through the tough times by emphasizing your resources and putting them into action. It is thinking right.

It is feeling right. It is doing the right things. Negative thinking doesn’t do this. Correct, positive thinking does. It is not sitting in your room thinking ‘breakfast will appear’ or that the food in the fridge will somehow cook itself. It is doing it yourself. It is action.

Negative Thoughts Hold You Back – Nothing Else Holds You Back

It is doing it with the right attitude. Many people are mistaken about positive thinking. I see articles and videos bad rapping it because they misunderstand what it is and the purpose of it. They miss out. Positive thinking IS one of the most powerful things you can do!

Don’t miss out. Correctly practice! Don’t believe the positive thinking is a scam people. Believe in yourself! Go back and read through my blog posts. Study them. Apply the principles and practices and you will powerfully transform your life! You will.

If you apply them correctly you can learn to be, do and have almost anything you want. You will learn how to make things happen. Then it is all up to you. Positive thinking means becoming smarter and wiser. It means being dedicated or committed. It means persistence.

Replace Negative Thoughts With Positive And Get Positive Results

The best way to practice is to have fun. Be dedicated. Keep an open mind. Be intense, yet, work at it in a relaxed, positive, energetic way. Passion and optimism make a big difference. Pursue passionately. Bring positive energy and high vibration to everything you do.

Your life changes when you feel incredible. Delight and enjoy! Practice feeling your best. Transform less than glorious thoughts and feelings into better and more glorious ones. Practice gratitude and expressing it. Practicing always speaking positively about yourself, your life, events and others. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

A Secret You Need To Know: Your Expectations Sometimes Hold You Back

“What gives? What  is going on? Sometimes, the things, we think, help us the most, actually don’t. We strive, we effort, we maintain a positive attitude and yet we don’t get what we want. We neither make it happen or attract it, as we hope. Why does this happen?

It is important to focus on the positive. It is important to expect things to work out for the best. It is good to have positive expectations about people, situations and your future. Focusing on the positive is great. It helps you think and feel and act better.

When it comes to your goals and dreams. The small ones and, especially the large ones, your Definite Chief Purpose or Aim, focus on the positive and feel great about accomplishing it. Imagine it as though you already have what you want. Feel it. Then let it go.

Start Loving Yourself For Everything You Already Are

Release the expectations of how and when it will work out. Stop yearning and hoping and needing. Let it go. Drop it. Have faith it will work out. Develop that certainty. Know that issues will resolve and your good is yours. Stop trying to make it happen. Let it happen.

Still, visualize and affirm each day. Continue to focus on your goal. Don’t be attached to the outcome. Give up on the time line. Allow it to unfold. People get in their way of making what they want happen by overdoing it. When you need it, you don’t get it. Odd, right?

Needing it, or needing it a certain way or a certain time, means you don’t have it. You notice not having it. You are focused on the lack of it so you subconsciously continue to create more lack. Get it? Get out of your way. When you don’t need it, or insist on it, you’ll get it.

Needing It Pushes It Away – Let It Unfold Naturally – Yes Want It

Again, this is why gratitude is so powerful. When you are thankful for having it, and you are delighted in having what you don’t yet have in reality, you open the door to it. You are focused on the feelings of having what you want. You are enjoying the great feelings!

You are vibrating at a high level. Your inner resources can readily align to go after what you want because you feel great and are thankful for it. Everything is working together in one accord. You get it when you release needing it and feel like you already have it. Do the work and then open yourself up to receive it. Become a great receiver! Believe and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
