It Is All BS! You Don’t Have To Do Anything To Change!

“Do you have to do anything to change? Can’t I just be the way I am and the world change for me if I wish hard enough? Must I really do something to make it different? I try lots of things but nothing really seems to work. It’s all BS, positive thinking, airy fairy stuff, right?

With that attitude one is bound to remain the same for a long time. The good news is you don’t have to do anything to change, you are always changing. That is the law. Things change for better, perhaps for the worse. Evolution is constant. It isn’t if, the question is when.

Given a long enough time, you and, your situation will be different, even if you do nothing. You are entitled to wait it out. However, if you want to change, within a realistic time frame, most likely, you will need to do something. Remember the definition of insanity?

I Am In Charge Of How I Think And Feel Today I Choose Happiness

People do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I’ll add, people, who  do nothing over and over again expecting different results, are just as insane. If you always do what you always did, you always get, what you always got,  remember?

Positive thinking, is not about having glazed over eyes and a permanent fixed smile while uttering platitudes. It is about taking control of the gray matter that is running your show. Your thoughts affect you and this you already know! Don’t con yourself.

If you are feeling angry or depressed, you are thinking thoughts that, make you, or perpetuate the feeling bad, whether or not, the source seems to come from the outside.  It is your thoughts bothering you if you are complaining or blaming or others or the world! Thoughts!

To Change Your Life You Need To Change Your Thinking

If you are bothered in the morning, through the day and into the night because of trouble with a loved one, some work related issue or a ticket from an officer, your mind is on autopilot and you need to take control. Yet, some won’t because they don’t believe in it.

You don’t have to believe in it. That, BTW , is another thought or set of thoughts. It helps to believe in it because you may want to do it but you don’t have to. If you do it long enough, correctly, you will get the results and then you will have your own evidence for it.

You will know it. Knowing is different than believing. Some don’t engage in it because they fear they will become glazed eyed, perpetually smiling, positive zombies. Their own fear or apprehension for change prevents them. People do what they do.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Positive thinking is a powerful, realistic approach to living life more fully. Either we master our thoughts or they remain the master of us. We are either in control of our thinking process or it controls us. Which would you rather be the case?  Positive or not, your choice.

I prefer feeling good, positive and powerful. Don’t you? I like knowing I can handle anything that comes my way, somehow, regardless, no matter what, with help or alone. I like finding the best of everything and the best in everything. But, you can stay the same.

Don’t do anything. Someday, perhaps in this lifetime, you will get what you want. Simply stay as you are. That isn’t so bad, unless your situation sucks. Keep in mind, it is your choice. You are always choosing, even when you choose to do nothing. It is your decision.

Your Decision Keeps You The Same – Or It Moves You Forward

Your decision keeps you the same or helps you move forward. If you want to move forward you can. Decide to. Take charge. Manage your thoughts and feelings. Begin by focusing on what you can and what you are grateful for. Gratitude makes an incredible difference. Begin feeling thankful. Adjust your attitude. Things get better when you do. Things get better as you celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes

The Difference In Rich And Poor Thinking Makes The Difference!

“The wealthy, tend to grow up with examples of privilege and prosperity, of having and of having more. Many grow up around deal making and accumulation. Their mindset, developed from early on is ‘If I want it, I can have it.’ They think, ‘it is mine, I deserve it.’ So it is.

The rest grow up in differing backgrounds. Some have more, many have little. They grow up with struggle. They learn, ‘work hard and try to get ahead.’ Get a good steady job and maybe you can retire with something  if you work hard enough. You can become self made.

Their mindset is often of poverty and lack. They didn’t have much and often had to limit spending or tighten their belts. They may resent the wealthy as much as the wealthy have disdain for the poor. The rich and the not rich are worlds apart, in mindset and practice.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Not all rich people are jerks. Not all poor people are lazy. Stereotypes abound. We must get past these. Where the rich have advantage we can learn from. Their mindset is truly one of entitlement. ‘I was born to this so I deserve this. I always get my way.’

When one can think like that and not be selfish or a prick one can make incredible things happen. If one can embody the idea that, ‘I can make things happen and I can get things because of the type of person I am’, one is more inclined to do so. It can be very positive.

Working hard and steady is very positive too. We should take the best attributes from both sides and apply them. Just eliminate the nasty bits. Maintain a positive ‘I can do it’ attitude. ‘I can make it happen. I am worthy. I deserve it.’ And you can.  Mindset matters.

You Become What You Think About Most Of The Time

Be generous too. Be kind and giving. Help yourself out and help others, Privilege sucks, if one thinks one is better than anyone else. That same attitude can exist with the poor, as well. Never imagine yourself as better than another. Simply be the best you, you can be.

I’ll add some thoughts in another blog. Meanwhile, practice gratitude. Be thankful for what little or lot you have. Enjoy yourself, your family and friends, your time, your place, your things. Be grateful for all of it. Delight in all your experiences. Your problems too. When you live with gratitude you can transform all of it. Celebrate everything! Rex Sikes

Life Won’t Change Unless You Change Things!

“Things will remain the same unless you change them. Of course, it is true that change is constant, but that is not the point I am making. If you do absolutely nothing, things may turn out better than you expect in the long run, but that could take many, many years.

Change happens regardless. However, how long it takes may matter to you. If you want things to change for the better in the nearer future, then you must implement some positive changes that move you forward in that direction. Are you understanding this? I hope so.

You can’t do things the old way and expect new results. If you don’t know what you do not know, and aren’t aware that there is more that you don’t know, or understand, then you always only function from the limited, conditioned understanding you have had. Get it?

Your Life Will Never Change Until You Change Something You Do

In order to change more easily and readily you need to open up to what else may be possible, even if you don’t know what that is, or believe it is possible. You need to open up to potentially life changing information and practices that may seem foreign to you. Get it?

You can’t do things the same old way, repeatedly, and expect to get new, better, different results. YOU have to change things. You have to change yourself, your mindset. You need to expand it to include possibilities you may never thought existed for you, previously.

You have to get out of your own way, and out of your own thinking box. We all do. We need to stop limitations from preventing us from exploring new pathways. We need to overcome the limitations of our old thinking, to awaken to new thoughts and possibilities.

Old Habits May Die Hard But You Won’t Change Until Those Do

We do this through awareness. We do this through practice. We practice and we notice. We use what we notice, to change. It is an evolutionary process that helps us wake up to new ideas and potential. Become aware of what stops you. That is only one step.

From there you must implement a means to get past being stopped. You must shift and put into action new thoughts, feelings and behaviors, that move you to where you want to go, AND in the manner you want to go. It is all up to you. Here is the good news.

Since you can’t know everything, you can’t know what you don’t know. You can only see, and move, as far ahead as you are able to see, and move, ahead. When you get to that point, you can then see further ahead, and move on. Step by step you make the journey.

To Change Your Life You Have To Change Yourself

I, sort of, repeat what I said in my last blog post:

What if you could develop the strong, certain belief that you always land on your feet, no matter what? What if you thought of yourself as  bigger than any obstacle? What if you were certain unexpected good always ends up coming your way? How might life improve?

What if you fully realized that in the end it always works out for the best?  If it ain’t the best, it ain’t the end yet. What if you knew for sure, you always land on your feet?  What if you could develop the strong, these positive strong beliefs? You can. Put these to work!

You do it the same way the old, limiting ones were created and made habit. You repeatedly think them over and over and over again until you believe them. You affirm with strong feelings! You imagine and visualize, and affirm with great feeling. You act as if it is all true!

To Change Yourself You Must Change Your Mental Thought Habits

That IS how it is done. There are other ways to include too, that I have already shared, and will again. Meanwhile, you need to understand it is mental conditioning and mental nutrition same as the physical kind. You progress through diet and exercise.

Feed your mind positive thoughts. Repeat it over and over, daily. When negative things come up, become aware, shift away from them and begin thinking the new positive, powerful beliefs. Condition yourself. You will have to do it again and again.

Get used to that! Practice gratitude and appreciation for everything. Delight in challenges because within all adversity are hidden seeds of possibility, equal good, and important learning that can move you forward. Feel wonderful, think positive and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Understanding Is An Amazing Thing: We Don’t Know What We Don’t Know!

“Most of us seek clarity and understanding. We want to learn and grow and develop.  Here is an amazing thing about understanding. We understand what we understand. Even then we may only partly understand or miss many things. We never know it all. Duh, right?

What we don’t understand, we DON’T understand. Most importantly, we may not even realize, we don’t know what we don’t understand. In other words, we only, always, have a partial picture. We never get or know all of it. All our understanding IS incomplete.

We tend, however, to think otherwise. We tend to think as if we know everything, when we don’t. One of the ways this manifests is when we face crises or bad times and are certain things will get even worse. We don’t think it will turn around. We focus on bad times.

Life Is Much Better When We Realize We Don’t Know Everything

Get it?  We don’t know what we don’t know about the ‘bad times’, and we can’t see the future, we can’t see, yet. Get it? It is not certain and it is unclear, but we may act, feel and think it is certain. We should not. We should remain open to the potential for change!

We need to recognize we don’t know everything! We only know what we pay attention to, and we can’t pay attention to everything. We only pay attention, for the most part, to the things we have been conditioned to pay habitual attention to. It’s Habits! Not only that!

We pay attention in the manner in which we were conditioned to habitually pay attention to things. That is why the saying, ‘if you want your life to change, you must change some things in your life’, is crucial to understand and implement. Things will remain the same.

Insanity Is Repeating The Same Thing Expecting It To Be Different

More next blog. Meanwhile, explore the possibilities that you don’t know everything about you and your situations. Be open to the possibility that you could transform everything for the better, now, instantly, or over time. Anything good, is possible. Consider this.

What if you could develop the strong, certain belief that you always land on your feet, no matter what? You are bigger than any obstacle. Unexpected good always ends up coming your way. In the end it always works out for the best. If it ain’t the best, it ain’t the end yet.

How To Break A Board Or Brick With Your Mind!

“When a martial artist focuses on breaking a board or a brick with their hand they have a special focus. They do not focus on their hand hitting the block because that would hurt. Instead they focus on where their hand is after it goes through the object. Important note!

In their mind they imagine the end result. Their hand has passed through the board or brick successfully. Their hand is in the finished position, complete and intact. They are successful.  They imagine this while facing the obstacle. They visualize being successful first!

Prior to breaking the board or brick they see it in their mind, FIRST. They imagine succeeding while looking directly at the ‘impenetrable’ object. They face the solid obstacle and they manage their fear and their doubts. They take charge and manage their emotional state.

Those Who Break Through Barriers Are Those Who Ignore Limits 

They believe, with certainty, they will succeed and overcome. They will be successful. They must believe this or they will stop the moment they hit the object and possibly hurt their hand. They manage their mindset, their emotions, their fears and their doubts.

They visualize succeeding! When ready they take full action.  When finished they celebrate their success in reality. Get it? This is what we do when we manifest. This is how we create our future. We see it now. We manage our state and we take action. Get it? Do you?

They harness and manage all their energy and resources. They are concentrated. They are deliberate. They are intentional. They have set an intention to successfully break through the brick. Energy flows where attention goes. Their energy goes to beyond the brick.

Life Has No Limitations Except The Ones You Make And Believe

They don’t put their energy into the obstacle but in going through the obstacle safely, and successfully. They know in advance they will prevail, they will succeed. Their energy is focused on what they can do and not on what they can’t do or how hard it will be. Get it?

You can learn to do this too. You don’t have to break boards or bricks but you can smash through any obstacle that has held you back and you can make your dreams come true. You can learn to succeed at anything. You can become happier, healthier and wealthier.

Would you like to? Say ‘yes’ if this is true for you! It requires learning new habits. It requires dedication and mental and emotional conditioning. I will help you. It requires study and preparation and taking action. Mindset and action are required. Prepare and do! Meanwhile, be grateful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What And Who Determines Your Success? The Bad And Good News

“The great problem for most people is they believe they’re victims of circumstance, events and other people; others and circumstances determine whether they, the individual, rise or fall, succeed or fail. They believe ‘something else’ is responsible, not them. Do you?

It can be blatant or quite subtle. I overheard someone the other day say, what a positive thinker they were, but how the economic downturn caused them to go under. On and on this person went. Is this an accurate description of reality? Perhaps, but perhaps not.

If you believe others and circumstances are responsible for you then, yes, to some degree it is accurate. Your beliefs shape your reality. However, it’s more likely that these outer forces influence you, and your decision, but don’t cause you to fail or succeed.

You Are Unstoppable When You Believe In Yourself

What you do determines whether you succeed or fail. Thinking outer forces control you is believing in magic and fantasy. If you believe outer forces dictate your fate then you have no choice, you are predestined or merely a puppet. Something else is in charge.

Do you get this? Hey, a bridge can be out, and you must take detour, that is an influence. Whether you continue to your destination is up to you, not the bridge. The weather can be bad. You might be delayed. Whether or not you continue on eventually, is up to you.

The economic situation can change. You could lose everything. Many do. Many become rich during the worst of times. What you do in that situation is up to you. Your life partner can leave you. How you continue on, is up to you. Yes, or circumstances can influence.

Don’t Be Pushed By Your Problems Be Lead By Your Dreams

What each of us, needs to cultivate is the belief that you are powerful. You have the ability and inner resources, even if hidden, to make your dreams come true. If you somehow, don’t have the inner resources, you can learn to  develop them, so you can succeed.

Believe in yourself more than outer influences. Those who do make their way to success and happiness. They don’t let anything or anyone rain on their parade. They keep their attention, and intensity, on where they want to go and, believe and, work to get there.

They don’t give up. Those who throw in the towel or quit don’t cross the finish line. Realize you are in a process of becoming. You are in a process of learning. You are in a process of creating your path. You are in the process of gathering your resources and making it happen.

Follow Your Dreams – Believe In Yourself – Never Give Up – Do It

Everything I have shared with you in these daily blogs helps you to understand and cultivate the beliefs and everything you need. My recent videos and audios, and workshops for decades, have been designed to assist you in making your life the way you want it.

When you apply, these tried and true principles and approaches, handed down from ancient times to present, backed up by research and the success of countless hundreds of thousand who have used them to succeed, YOU can too. Whether you do, or not, is up to you.

To know and not to do, is to not know. If you don’t consistently do what can help you to be better and make your dreams come true, don’t complain. Complaining, whining, excusing and blaming others and yourself is pointless and detrimental. It doesn’t help anyone.

Your Mind Believes What You Feed It – Feed It Positive Thoughts

Dedicate yourself to becoming the best. Do, at the very least, a little each day, and you will get there much quicker than doing nothing at all. Do you get this? The more you do, the more you become capable of doing. Engage. Plug in ! Do it. Cultivate the beliefs and attitudes.

Develop the mindset that gives you the edge. When you think and feel you are successful, no matter what, then you can be. Mindset first! Practice gratitude and appreciation. When you feel your best you bring about the best. Mindset first! Get it? If you do, then take charge. Take action and celebrate everything! Rex Sikes

You’re An F’ing Creator Act Like One!

“The very act of thinking is a creative act. You imagine it. You visualize it. Whether or not you act on it, you have begun a creative process.  You initiated something and you put it out there. The more you focus on it, the more you bring it into being. You make it happen.

So, if you are worried about debt and lack, you continue to create more of it. If you are anxious and fearful about anything, you are negatively goal setting. Your continued attention causes energy to flow into that which you’d prefer to avoid and YOU make it happen.

You can’t not create. The only question is WHAT you create? Either it’s positive, supportive and something you want OR it’s not. This IS why you want to take control of your thinking process and make it work for you, instead of against you. YOU make things happen!

The More Responsibility You Take For Your Past And Present …

This IS WHY you you don’t want it to run on and on the way you have been using it, but WHY you want to learn to manage your thoughts and feelings. The first step is to take full responsibility as a creator. You create your experience. You respond or react to it.

Whether the world influences you, or whether you orchestrate all of it, doesn’t matter, because your choices determine your outcomes. Your responses or reactions determine your results. Whether you put it into action, or react to it, you are responsible for what you get.

Do you understand this? One or the other doesn’t have to be ‘the case’ or ‘the truth’ in order for you to be ‘at effect’ of the cause. When you live ‘at effect’ you don’t have much say or control. The same is true if you are creating what you don’t want. Do you get it?

… The More You Are Able To Create The Future You Desire

You don’t have to understand electricity to use it. You don’t have to believe in it for it to work, or not. It doesn’t have to be true, or not, in order to benefit or be harmed. It simply is. You simply create your world, whatever you think that to mean. Take responsibility for it.

When you do, you put yourself in the ‘at cause’ position instead of the ‘at effect’ position. You are the progenitor, the catalyst, the reason for things happening. IF THAT IS THE CASE then you can create differently, if you are wise enough to choose to. Get it?

You no longer are a victim of your thinking, you become the victor. When you accept full responsibility for everything, whether this notion is actually true or not, it puts the power back in your hands. You are where the power belongs. You are the power, not the victim.

Love The Life You Have While You Create The Life Of Your Dreams

Act like a creator. Act powerful. Decide. Act positively on your own behalf. Stop whining and blaming and excusing and start owning up. When the buck stops with you, YOU CAN do something about any situation. You can change the situation OR your attitude. Get it?

It is up to you! If you can’t change the situation, change what you think and feel about it. Find or create a way to be resourceful, anyway. Adjust and continue. Make the best of a ‘bad’ situation. Take charge. Be the victor NOT the victim. Make what you want happen!

Whether true, or a reframe, you are responsible for creating every moment of your life. When you fully realize and accept this, true magic begins to happen. Change can be instantaneous. Miraculous! Accept 100% responsibility for creating your life. Make it happen!

This Life Of Yours Is 100% Your Responsibility – Act Like It

Why the picture that accompanies this post? Well, that bale didn’t get there by itself. Someone had to decide to do it. Someone had to have previously planted. Then someone harvested. It begins with an idea and then it is translated into reality. It didn’t happen on its own.

Be grateful. Be thankful. Find the good in everything. Your whole life can change. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

To Make Room For New Things Get Rid Of The Old

“You want to create newness in your life. You want a satisfying career, more fulfilling relationships, money flowing in, and better things, right? You’d like to live the good life, a life of your dreams; made by your own design. You can. You will. If you make room.

A biblical quote attributed to Jesus reads, ‘Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.’ Think on that.

If you suddenly got a truck load of new furniture by surprise, you won it on a game show, what do you do with your old furniture? You have to move it out to make room for the new furniture, right? It only, makes sense, doesn’t it. It is obvious, right. You’d move it out.

Want Your Life To Change – You Must Change Things In Your Life

Consider this: You want a new life. What do you do with the old one? You want to be free, have fun, live abundantly, yes? Then you must make room for it. You must clear out the old, limiting beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions to make room for the new.

Two forms of matter, furniture or thoughts, cannot occupy the same space at the same time. You need to get rid of the old. The new wine needs to take up space in new wine skins. You need to make some inner changes to have some outer changes. Change your thinking.

Rid yourself of what holds you back, that which takes up space, and prevents you from being, doing and having everything you want. If you don’t know how, you need to learn how. If you haven’t done it you must do it. Create room for your best life! Only you can.

Replace Less Than Glorious Feelings With New Supportive Ones

Do it from a positive place, not a negative one. Focus on what you want, not on what you eliminate. Promote the new, positive beliefs while letting old, limiting beliefs go. Uplift yourself, your life and the people in your life, at all times. Become more positive and optimistic.

The Secret: Everything Changes When You Do!

“Remember, perception is everything. It IS all about mindset. Everything is in your head. It is all a matter of how you look at it. If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right. You become what you think about. What you focus on expands. It’s your choice.

True abundance comes from within. Most people think it is about getting things, but it isn’t. Yes, being, doing and having can be part of it. Happiness is not off in the future residing in that ‘perfect’ home car, mate, or job. It is here, now, inside of you. Find it. You can.

True abundance is the ability to be grateful right this instant and feel blessed. It means not needing anything. When you need something you notice the distance between you and what you need. You know it isn’t here now, because you need it. Same can be true of wants.

We Are What We Repeatedly Do – Excellence Is Is A Habit 

Enjoy what you have. Celebrate what IS. Count your blessings. Be thankful for the good and not so good times. Both contribute to your overall wellbeing. You  don’t think so. You have been brought up with preconditioned biases, that make up your chronic conditioning.

Mindset rules us. What we think about repeatedly we believe. So if we think tough times ARE tough, they are. If we think tough times are times of lessons and opportunities, they are. It is whatever we think and say about it that makes it so. We create our own reality.

When tough times come have a party. Celebrate, because it’s an opportunity to find something better in life. It certainly could be. If you always react to tough times as you always have, nothing changes. There is opportunity around you. Get it? It is up to you.

To Change Your Life You Must Change Some Things In Your Life

Perhaps, the only reason tough times are tough times is because you haven’t thought about them any differently. You always think about them the same. Tough times may change but you haven’t. Get it? You react the same. You think and feel the same. Change it up.  Be free!

Adversity can be a test. The challenge provides an opportunity to learn something great about yourself. You have the opportunity to excel. Something positive can come your way because that’s the kind of person you are. Love your life. New things happen, when you are.

You manifest. You live a life of service. You add value. Every moment is magical. You are open to receiving all the miracles and all the magic into your life, moment to moment. It is an incredible life. Live it in high vibration.  Be thrilled. Enthused. Joyful.  Love. Laugh.

We First Make Our Habits Then Our Habits Make Us 

All is good, always. Be optimistic, up beat, high vibration, filled with joy. All IS good! All, will always, be good. It has been good. Be secure. Become certain. Come to know it in every cell, every atom, every fiber of your being. Make this a new subconscious habit. Do it!

When it is a habit, it is reliable and automatic. When shit hits the fan you automatically  celebrate. You are constantly positive and remain optimistic. Instead of focusing on what is wrong, you believe it will work out and look for opportunity and solutions. You remain at ease.

You don’t let it get you down. You go have fun and enjoy yourself in spite of circumstances. You can do this because you have learned how. You have trained yourself to respond differently. If you want your life to change, you must change some things in your life.

Break The Bad Habits And Make Better Ones – You Can Do It

Change reacting badly to less than glorious times into responding resourcefully. When you do the correct thinking, feeling and acting, consistently, for a long enough duration of time, you develop new habits. You recondition yourself. SO learn to master yourself now. Take charge. Live in gratitude and delight. Everything changes when you do. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
