Victims Rarely Win But Victors Champion!

“The major problem for most people is that people believe in magic. Magical thinking means attributing results to things outside oneself. They think ‘outer forces’ are affecting or effecting them. Luck, karma, the universe, government, parents and more are blamed.

When attribution is on things outside oneself, the person is a victim of the outer forces. Sadly, many would agree. Maybe, even many reading this. Perhaps, even you. That thinking will keep you struggling and striving. You need to take charge, not be a victim.

You need to be a victor. You need to control your mindset, your thoughts, feelings and actions. When you do, you’ll begin to get the result you intend to get. You make it happen instead of ‘it’ happening to you. People even misuse the Law of Attraction in this way.

If You Really Want To Do Something You Will Find A Way

Why the picture accompanying this post? Because that bail didn’t attract itself together. Karma, god, the universe didn’t bail the hay. Someone had to do it. The same is true with transforming your life. Take charge of yourself and your mindset. Do it today. It works!

All Is Still Well

“Transformation occurs from inner to outer. When your mind is right outer reflects it! Life transforms as you do. When you become the change, everything changes. Mindset, attitude, is everything! Speak only to bless, heal, prosper, inspire and motivate. Eliminate all else.

Don’t describe and share your problems and difficulties. Speak about how you will resolve them. They are there for you to grow by and learn from. Stop the pity parties, the blaming, whining and excusing and speak only what you want the future to be. Get it?

Stop living in difficulties and affirming those. Eliminate that practice. Get present and celebrate all of it. Look for the learning and the opportunity in everything you would have, previously, called adversity. Change your ways and the world transforms too. It does!

If You Want Your Life To Change You Must Change Some Things

That doesn’t mean everything gets rosy. It means it can, but if problems arise, your new mindset, attitude, and habits are bigger than the obstacles, You navigate successfully through challenges without complaint because YOU are transformed. You truly are!

Remember, if you want your life to change you must change things in your life. You must change you mindset. You must learn to shift from negative to positive and make it a habit. Habits develop by doing things repeatedly, consistently, for long enough. You must change!

In order to have changes you can’t remain the same, doing the same things and hope it will be different! Get it? You must become the change you want. Become a powerful, positive champion, a victor. Be the person you want to become by acting it out right now. Act as if!

If You Always Do What You Did You’ll Always Get What You Got

That IS what actors do. Pretend to be the person you want to be for long enough, consistently, and you will become that person. You become what you think about, most often, each day. If you are thinking mostly about problems, they will remain problems with you.

If you are acting, rehearsing, thinking and affirming being a positive thinker, an optimist, a champion and a victor, with an amazingly powerful mindset, you WILL become that person. It is all up to you. Your choice. You become what you think about! Begin today.

Manage Your Mindset And Success Behaviors Will Follow

“Knowing who to listen to, and who not to, is important when it comes to making positive changes, developing good habits and becoming successful.  Not all information, or sources, is useful. Not all information is equal. You need to know who to listen to.

Selecting a good mentor is crucial. You want someone who has, or does, what you want and who has been where you are. If they come from a background similar to yours and accomplished what you want,  they may be a good mentor for you. Do you understand?

To achieve your goals define your goal. Clarify what you want. Make it a burning desire through visualizing and affirming each day. You must be driven, passionate and enthused by, and about, your goal. If it scares you a little, that is good. It stretches you. Get it?

What You Want To Do With Ease First You Do With Dilligence

Every day repeat your visualization and affirmations. In the old days this was called autosuggestion. I actually like this term. You continue to see yourself as already being it, doing it, having it. Tell yourself you you have made this happen until you firmly believe you will.

Keep it as the predominant thought/s in your mind. As you continue to do this you will begin to fashion a plan to accomplish what you want. This plan will change many times. That is okay. You never develop the perfect plan. You adjust it as you move forward.

Once you have defined your goals clearly, have it as a burning desire, and believe you can accomplish it, shift your focus to the very first step in your plan. You no longer have to focus on the goal.  Keep that in the background while you focus on achieving the steps.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

You know what you want and you work the plan, step by step along the way. It is mindset first and  then behaviors follow.  Focus on getting mindset right and you will automatically do the right behaviors. You’ll adjust as necessary. It all works together.

If you focus on behaviors, or the steps, first you can end up spinning your wheels for a long, long time. Mindset is what organizes it all for you.  Mindset is 99% of the game. Behaviors, steps or actions are 1%. Do it correctly and you succeed.

If you’re focused on what to do you can end up getting nowhere fast. You can see this all the time. People being very busy but getting nowhere. Proper action follows the  proper mindset. This is why it is good to have the right mentor who can guide you well. Get it?

Action Is The Proper Fruit Of Knowledge – MindSet First

A mentor can’t do it for you, but if their journey is similar to yours, you can benefit from the mentor’s expertise. If your backgrounds are not similar they won’t be able to guide you properly. Wisdom in choosing who you listen to is key. Books can only get you so far.

Not all books are worth reading either. I recommend you read Napoleon Hill. His work stands the test of time. In Laws Of Success and Think And Grow Rich he explains how it works.  He describes mental process, the thoughts needed to encourage the behavior.

Napoleon Hill said, you focus on what you can control. That is your thoughts. Get your thinking right and all else will follow. That is why he titled the book THINK And Grow Rich, not work hard and grow rich. There is a fundamental, and important, difference in the successful approach. Learn it. Learn gratitude, too. When you do these, things will change for the better. Do it and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Become A Champion

“It is the consistent, persistent, daily actions that bring success in all things, your family, your health, your wealth and career, your life. Daily dedication to doing something positive moves you closer to your goal and makes all the difference.

Start with a clearly, well stated goal. One that is a passion or a ‘burning desire’ for you. See it in  your mind’s eye,  the mental images of your ultimate goal. Envision it daily (as often as possible) and infuse it with positive energy and enthusiasm. Keep at it!

Do not give up! You keep at it until you get it. This IS your daily regime. Your mental nutrition. Visualize and affirm it. Declare it yours. Imagine you are already it. Imagine you already have it. Live the future in your present. Act as if your future is right now.

Persistence Guarantees That The Results Are Inevitable

Keep your goal alive in your mind and in your sights. Keep it burning. Stay passionate and enthused. Believe in your heart and know in your head that you will have it. YOU will ATTAIN it! You will make it happen because you will never give up. You will see it through!

Once you quit, it is over.  So you must not stop. Keep the faith.  Keep going no matter what is going on, or not going on, around you. Do not let present circumstances distract you from getting to your end game. Champions do. this.  Their mindset is everything!

Keep this goal burning hot in your mind. Focus on things to be grateful for. Feel good about your progress. When you do, you are opening up your mind to discovering greater opportunities, events, situations and people that can help you to reach your goal.

Champions Keep Playing Until They Get It Right – Keep Playing

Your mind awakens and you can think more clearly and easily about how you will make it happen. You form plans using your creativity, your intuition and your smarts. You may have to adjust the plan as you go along but  that is just part of the process.

Each day you move forward and make adjustments as necessary, but no matter what you keep moving forward toward your ultimate destination. This is how champions condition themselves. They develop their mental powers and take charge of their lives.

YOU WILL GET THERE as long as you keep going toward it. No matter how long it takes, or how many detours there happen to be, you will get there if you just never stop! Mindset Matters: How To Develop The Best Mindset!

“For some of us it is difficult to believe there is good in everything. For some, it seems there is just no good to go around. They think and experience life as difficult. For them, bad things happen. Perception is everything. There is also self-fulfilling prophecy. So heads up!

Consider this. Before humans walked the planet events came and went. Some days were gorgeous. Some filled with calamity. Whatever happened, happened. There was no one to label it, to judge it, to call it good or bad. Things occurred. What is IS.

Not judging is not the same as avoiding or ignoring. Things happen and require attention. It is the mindset one has, or uses, to go through it, that makes all the difference in the world. If it is a calamity we feel differently than if it is an annoyance.

Let Go – Relax – Drop It – Breath – Allow – Accept – Be Open

What we think and say determines how we feel and behave. If we think it ‘terrible’ we react from that mindset and from that set of emotions. If it is just another situation to discover opportunity and lessons, even if tough, we react or respond in another fashion.

When we label or judge less, when we don’t set ourselves up for the worst by calling it as such, we are more apt to be clear headed and resourceful. We don’t get overwhelmed with negative thoughts and emotions and are better equipped to resolve it positively. Get it?

Mindset determines how we approach the world around us. This is why Henry Ford said, ‘if you think you can or you think you can’t you are right!’ To behave and live more enjoyably, to experience more of the good life, we must see life as good first and enjoy it first.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

We get back what we put out. Concentrate on positivity and optimism. Focus on finding opportunity everywhere, even during adversity and you are more likely to discover it. Emphasize that which helps you think, feel and behave positively and powerfully.

Find blessings around you. Look at the abundance of all good things. Look for what is good. Seek to be filled with awe, and with appreciation and gratitude. Life changes, and so do you, when you activate your attitude. Learn to stop judging, let go, enjoy more and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Secret Revealed: To Stop Screwing Things Up You Must Do This First!

“All the actions in the world won’t make up for a crummy mindset. You can do and try anything and everything and still your results will be haphazard and mostly less than effective and poor. Actions does not replace mindset yet that is what most people attempt to do.

Most people try to make things happen. Mostly, they spin their wheels. They try to fix things or make problems go away or be better but they miss the key ingredient for doing that. You can be very busy with problem solving activity without accomplishing anything!

Einstein pointed out, ‘We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.’ Mindset must come first. You must learn and develop and maintain the proper positive, powerful mindset. From mindset come the right actions. Mindset rules!

You’re Where Your Thoughts Take You Thoughts Become Things

Without having the right mindset, all the actions in the world won’t make up for it. Yet this is the key most people miss. Why? Because we have been conditioned to ‘do things’. We have been told, ‘get educated, get a job, work hard.’ We haven’t been told ‘attitude first’.

Once you have the right mindset in place everything else follows. We have been told to put the cart before the horse. Change this and you begin to change everything! Get the right mindset and then you will be led to right actions by your feelings. You use your inner GPS.

The actions you then take, step by step are those that feel right. From the right mindset follow the right feelings. From the right feelings come the right action steps leading to the positive results you desired in the first place. Right mindset leads to right results.

The Brain Is As Strong As Its Weakest Think – Think Positive

You must design and maintain your mind to be more effective and get the results you want in your life. You transform yourself first and then all the right actions follow. When troubles come you are better equipped to naturally, effectively and easily resolve them. Get it?

Do you? When you evolve yourself you make good things happen. Why? Because you aren’t wasting your time, spinning your wheels in activity, but you are productively creating what you want to happen, bit by bit all along the way. Create yourself and your best life ever!

Take charge of your mindset! Focus on the positive. Be grateful and express your gratitude. Discover how everything IS a blessing. Stay focused. Stay the course. Remain optimistic. Let go of blocks and limiting beliefs. Enjoy life. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Can You Stop Being Afraid?

Fear has been said to be false evidence appearing real. For example, this or something like it may have occurred for you. You walk outside at night-time, see a snake and react in fear. You freeze or run. You are terrified. In dim light, you can’t tell it is really only a garden hose.

You mistook a garden hose for a snake. Doesn’t matter, does it? You still had a fear response. Your body reacted as if it were real. Even though it wasn’t, you thought it was. In your mind you saw a snake! You believed it was a snake!  Yet, there was nothing to fear.

Sometimes, we encounter real snakes, or lions and tigers and bears. We encounter real situations that could cause us to react with caution or with fear. Hopefully, we respond appropriately at those times. Then, there are many times when we perceive things to fear.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Perhaps, that could be said of all situations. We respond as we’ve been conditioned to respond. We respond and react as we grew up learning to; these are thought and behavioral habits. There is nothing to actually fear, yet,we feel afraid; fight, flight or freeze.

We are afraid of things for which fear is not necessary. We have made that fear a habit. There is nothing wrong with fear. It is a useful response in the appropriate situation. Fear, freezing, fleeing or fighting is an evolutionary response to keep us alive. Get over fear.

There is nothing wrong with being afraid. Real stimuli or not, there is nothing wrong with being afraid It is a human response. Courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to manage fear and do what is necessary anyway. Courageous people act while afraid.

What You Focus On Expands – Be Careful What You Focus On

Many of us are afraid of things we need not be afraid of. Instead of being concerned with fear, be more concerned with developing courage and an unstoppable attitude that allows you to move forward as you want. Manage your thoughts and feelings.

Take charge of your thinking and feeling so you become more joyful and peaceful. Learn to be happy often and delight in all life offers. Experiences that bring fear are opportunities to transform yourself and go beyond the limitations. It’s an opportunity to be different.

You can go beyond the conditioning you once knew and move into new ways of being. Everything can be a blessing if you look for the blessing inside of everything. Learn to live this way, celebrate everything, and most fears will diminish and give way to bliss.

Learn To Create What You Want More Of And Let The Rest Go

Then when necessary, if it is ever necessary, you can and will still use fear to succeed and navigate successfully in troubled waters. You may be afraid, perhaps, but you will still be moving forward. Fear won’t paralyze you but be a signal to move forward cautiously.  Transform yourself and enjoy! Become free. Why You Need To Take Charge And Direct Your Mind!

“Here is a simple little example for those people who THINK they don’t need to learn how to control their thinking. This is for those who THINK haphazardly, and live as a cork bobbing in the water blown by the wind. This is for those who are victims of thoughts.

What happens when you ask or say to yourself, ‘why am I such an idiot?’ How do you feel? What are your emotions? Do you feel successful, confident or powerful? What is your experience when you or someone asks your that? Bet it doesn’t feel too good, right?

Ask yourself, ‘how come everything sucks?’ or ‘Why does all this bad shit happen to me?’ Do you feel any better asking these questions. How about this? Say to yourself, ‘I never have enough money’ or ‘I am always in debt’ or ‘I don’t know how I’ll make ends meet.’

Your Excuses And Your Blames Hold You Hostage

How do these statements make you feel? How do you feel and think and behave when you say, ‘I feel crappy’ or ‘things suck!’ How marvelous do you feel then? Do you feel on top of the world? Do you feel successful or confident? Do you feel like you can do anything?

Most likely not? What happens when you ask along these lines? ‘In how many different ways am I incredible?’ You may not know the answer yet, or even feel differently yet, but keep asking that. Ask it throughout your day,  before you get up and before you go to bed.

Ask, ‘How quickly and easily can I discover  how delighted I will feel to learn how effortlessly one can succeed?’ Or say ‘I feel incredible!’ Do it with enthusiasm and passion when you say it. Shout it. Loud and booming. ‘I can do anything!’ How do these make you feel.

If You Want Things To Change You Have To Change Some Things

If you don’t notice much difference there’s a good change you have been not thinking this way very much yet. You are conditioned to the other way of thinking. That can all change and you can too. It only means you are conditioned to a certain habit of thought and feeling.

Learn new thought and feeling habits and all of your life can become remarkable! The one set of questions and statements brings up less than glorious feelings. It points you in a negative direction. The other set sends you in a positive direction.

What do you want dog crap or diamonds? Do you want negativity, fear, worry, doubt, depression or positivity, confidence, peace, self-love, and joy? Choose! It is always up to you. It’s a brief example but I hope it helps illustrate the difference. You have to do it to know it!

Whether You Do Or You Don’t Is Completely Up To You

Practice it, long enough thought the days, and weeks and month and you will discover yourself moving in new directions. You’ll be more positive, optimistic and  cheerful. You will make more things happen and be less of a victim. That would be worth it, wouldn’t it?

Learning how to direct your mind in powerful positive ways makes all the difference in how easily and effortlessly you can discover becoming happier, healthier and wealthier. That’s a pretty great benefit in my book, don’t you think?

How To Have A Wonderful Life Part 2

“In my last blog post I shared how anyone can learn to have a more glorious and wonderful life. If you haven’t yet read that post I invite you to stop and read that one first. I’ll continue now to discuss the important power of your attention and your focus.

What you focus your attention on and for how long you focus on it matters mightily.  I repeat, what you focus on and the amount of time you spend focusing on it makes a critical difference as to the results you get. The strength and intensity of your focus is also crucial!

If you give passing thought to the good things but mostly concentrate on what is wrong, and what you don’t want, during your day, you get back precisely what you give most of your energy and time to. If you’re worried about crap, you will remain in the crap!

Accentuate The Positive – Eliminate The Negative

Get that? I mean do you get that? You must understand. Whatever you focus your flashlight of attention on is what you see and get. If most of your time is negative you will live mostly a negative life. To have a good or great life you must shift the balance to the positive.

Intensity makes a big difference! Some people focus strongly with great emotion for long hours, or days, on their problems and what they absolutely do not want. 20% crap gets you an 80% crap life!  That doesn’t lead to happiness and success! Get it? Do you get it?

What leads to a positive life is a positive, passionate, powerful, long term focus on the positive and productive aspects you want more of in your life. Focus on the good things with energy and  great passionate emotion! Focus on positivity most of your time! I repeat.

Celebrate Everything – Be Grateful – Find Blessings In All 

Focus on positivity for most of your time. Feel good most of your time, and your life changes. Mindset rules everything else. Most people keep missing this important piece. It isn’t hard work to change your life. Focus on the good to have a good experience!

If you don’t already do this naturally, then you MUST learn to if you want to live a wonderful life. The great news is ANYONE can learn to think better and create a better, even fabulous life. You simply must decide to being to do it right now! If you will, you’re on your way!

Is effort required? Sure, but as Napoleon Hill stated, when it came to being fabulously well off, in Think and Grow Rich, ‘When money comes, it is never the result of hard work.’ It is the result of having your mindset right. That is the truth about happiness too!

Whatever You Focus On Expands – You Get What You Focus On

How do I spend my time? In the present, as much as possible, savoring what IS, imagining and manifesting more of the future as I intend it to be, while enjoying all of it as it unfolds. It is a beautiful experience we all can have. So, pay attention. Focus your thoughts!

Make your mindset magnificent. Shift! Develop a positive powerful attitude. Become excited. Become passionate. Become positive. Feel grateful and practice gratitude. Delight more. Mope less. Do the thinking that makes a difference! Take action and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
