Make Things Happen By Pacing Reality

“So, you wanted to manifest some things; money, ideal weight, the perfect relationship, harmony with family, whatever it is. The issue is you just didn’t believe you could do it. Or you didn’t believe it was possible for you. If that is the case you may want to implement this.

The issue you have is doubt. You doubt it will happen for you or that you can make it happen. I’ll be one of the first to say, ‘yup, it isn’t going to just happen for you’, but YOU can MAKE IT happen. Yet, you still don’t believe that, perhaps. You have tried affirmations.

You’ve tried visualization and you just haven’t made it work, yet. The reason again, is belief. If you doubt it and don’t believe you can do it what you ARE creating and attracting is more of the same doubt. Do you understand this? You have to change what you are doing.

Believe You Can And You Are HalfWay There

One of the things that does work is to pace reality. This means you describe what is ongoing and observable. I am sitting in a chair, typing on the computer. That is what Rex is doing. You are reading these words.  Beyond that Rex doesn’t know but you do.

You know where you are, the place and what it looks like. You know the temperature, the time of day. You know if you are sitting, standing or lying down. If you’re at home, work or on a train, plane or bus. Get it? You can describe your reality. Okay, okay that is pacing.

That is pacing the ongoing reality of your moment. That’s fine, but we are going to pace in another way, instead. We are going to pace the world at large, in general. For example, you think that you could never make enough money or become debt free. You can affirm this:

Believe That You Can Do It And You Will Do It

‘There are many people in the world who began with nothing. More people have made fortunes than have inherited them. Everyone begins somewhere. It may have been difficult for them too, but they did it. Right now someone just became wealthy! Someone did it.’

People are getting rich and making fortunes everyday. There is plenty of money going around. Billions and billions of dollars are exchanging hands each second. Just now someone received a large amount of money. Someone just received a big check.

More people are learning how to manage their money and make fortunes. There are lot’s of people creating wealth in today’s market. People find and win money too. Plenty of people are really good with money. If it is possible for some of them all of them probably could.’

Encourage Yourself And Encourage Others – You First

Here is the point. You want to uncover what is going on in the world. Plenty of people are eating well and maintaining their ideal weight. There are lots of people from all backgrounds and families who are healthy in spite of genetics. There are people right now meeting others, on dates, and falling in love. Everywhere in the world.

It is all going on right now. If it is possible for them it can be possible for you too. If, when you read these thoughts, you feel a bit more hopeful that is a good thing. You want to learn that you too can be part of the success crowd. Sometimes our focus is too narrow.

Especially when it comes to thoughts that limit us. We sometimes think we are alone, only we have this issue. Or anyone with the problems we have are doomed. Well, there are plenty of examples in the world of people with less doing more. If they can you can.

What We Want To Do With Ease We Must First Do With Diligence

Use the pacing of reality to create a window of opportunity for you. Pace the world in this way so that you learn it is possible and that it is going on. From there you can begin to learn to do what others do as well. ‘Others made money. They started from nothing. I can too.’

‘I can begin to learn to manage my money and create wealth.’ From there you can affirm, ‘I am learning to manage my money and create wealth. I enjoy learning. As I learn I become more able to do the things I want. I feel confident I can being to make more money too.’

You pace the world, and yourself. Then you lead yourself one stepping stone at a time down the path of least resistance. You pace and lead yourself into more easily and readily believing you can do it. When you believe you can then it becomes possible and more likely.

Step By Step You Make Your Way – It Is  A Journey Not A Race

Without the belief in yourself you won’t. Believe in yourself and that it is possible and you can learn to do anything. You really can begin to make your dreams come true. Stop resisting and start assisting yourself in moving forward. Step by step. Pace yourself into it.

IT WORKS! You can free yourself from years of defeatist limited thinking by pacing your way out of it. You really can. Of course, you actually have to do the work. Once you implement it , stick with it until a new reality is yours. It takes whatever time it takes.

If you want to be a success you need some skin in the game. What are you willing to pay or give up to succeed. Are you willing to keep at it until you win. If you truly are you will. If you quit you will have succeeded in quitting. Stop quitting and start winning. DO IT! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How’d You Like To Get Lucky And Find More Good Fortune?

“Have you ever noticed some people just seem to have good fortune? They are lucky. Good things happen for them, to them and they always seem to be in the right place at the right time. They find money. They win prizes and awards. They seem blessed.

While it could be that they are, a better answer is that their brain is in tune with good fortune. This is part of what our Reticular Activating System does for us. It finds matches in our experience, and in the outer world, based on our mindset and filters.

A major concern of the RAS is to find out what is wrong, to notice that, so we keep safe. It scans the world checking for anything that could be problematic. It works on our behalf. Its other ability is to find matches with our point of view, our paradigm, our mindset.

Diligence Is The Mother Of Good Fortune

From our attitude, or our outlook on life, it finds matches in the real world and from our past experiences. It provides us examples. If you ask, ‘how come I am so uncoordinated?’ your brain will search to provide you the reasons, from your past, why you are as you think.

Whether you actually are or not, as long as you believe it, your brain will find it. On the other hand if you were to ask, ‘how come I am so fabulous?’ your brain would search to find those reasons and examples as well. The technical word is Transderivational Search.

You don’t have to know the word. It just means your subconscious does things outside of your awareness. It searches and comes up with the matches based on what you are consciously, and even unconsciously, paying attention to or focusing on.

Henceforth I Ask Not For Good Fortune – I Am Good Fortune

That is why we say, ‘what you focus on you get,’ or ‘energy flows where attention goes,’ or ‘you become what you think about.’ Your brain works to prove you right. It provides you the evidence based on the requests you make. It doesn’t care what the answers are.

If we have a positive happy mindset it finds positive happy things. If our outlook is negative it finds those. It does so based on our conditioning from birth onward. It is based on what we are thinking and  especially what we are feeling. Feelings are most important.

This is why, Law Of Attraction proponents state ‘you attract back what you are putting out.’ From the brain research standpoint this makes sense then. You do get what you focus on. You do get more back of what you put out. Birds of a feather do flock together.

Energy Flows Where Goes – What You Focus On Expands

So you want to manage your thoughts and feelings and feel or vibrate the very highest or most positive, using LOA vernacular. Get it? You can find more opportunities and positivity if you start from a positive place. That means you have to take action. Yes, YOU do.

You have to do something. You can’t continue to do what you have thought, felt and done because you will continue to get back what you always have. To change you must change things. You must act first and start thinking and feeling differently. You initiate it.

You can’t wait and hope because you will only get back more waiting and hoping. There is no one ‘out there’ doing it to you or for you. It is all your doing. You are responsible. You initiate the action, plant the seeds and reap the results. It is all up to you. Take responsibility.

Don’t Stop Yourself With Limited Thinking

“You know, when one person asks a question, it can mean many others had the same, similar or other questions but didn’t ask. Others may have have thought the very same thing. People may have made similar comments too if they were so inclined.

With that in mind I decided to re-post an answer I made to someone who commented, because the same principle applies to comments. In this case, a person, commented they would prefer their heart surgeon had knowledge over imagination.

He further stated he was tired of people using Einstein and his words, quotes, as if he were the barometer of infallibility. My reply follows.

Imagination Creates Reality –  Live Out Your Imagination

‘LOL! I do! I want my heart surgeon to have knowledge, be skilled and creative or imaginative to think outside the box to trouble shoot or problem solve on his or her feet. I want the person top of their game. I don’t want a mere mechanic; technical skill only.

I want the best of the best and that includes more than just knowledge. A point to consider. This is a blog post. Not a book or far longer discussion. Hence, there isn’t room for all the examples and counter-examples possible.

I focus on the point or the couple points I am making. There is always room for alternatives, other options and disagreement. Hey, Einstein was proven wrong, about many things, long ago. That doesn’t make his contributions any less poignant.

What Is Now Proved Was Once Only Imagined

He is not a final authority in anything but a decent contributor to the human race. His efforts and benefits way outshine mine, to say the least. I have no problem using a quote, Einstein or otherwise, if it makes a good point.

Who said it may, sometimes, be far less important than what is posited. Other times, the opposite may be the case. The point of the post is don’t stop yourself with limited thinking. Don’t stop at the known but go beyond and into new territory.

Adventure, explore and discover. Adventure, explore and discover.

There is always enough to stop us, but the courageous, the curious, the creative, the fun seekers may go further then others who quit at the obvious, or at the first sign of hardship, physical or mental. Quitting or stopping thinking doesn’t bring much about.

Stop Letting Your Thoughts Control You – You Control Them

An idea to pursue, a purpose, a passion can change the world. People who easily quit do exactly that. They quit. I don’t want my heart surgeon to give up because the problem exceeds his/her expertise. I want the person to seek other possible legitimate solutions.

I don’t want ordinary thinkers. I want open minds. BTW I love that you engage and comment. Thanks for sharing!’ Well, there you have it. My reply. You may or may not agree with me. That’s fine. I am not seeking agreement. I am hoping to provoke thought.

I am hoping we take charge of our thoughts, our minds, our emotions and behaviors and begin getting the results we want to get. There are always enough excuses and distractions to stop us. Let’s find the reasons to see it all the way through to the end and beyond.

Einstein Ought To Know: Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. This is an absolute fact. Imagination stimulates our creativity and takes us to places we might never go. Knowledge can be useful but knowledge also hampers and prevents us. People are stopped by what they ‘know’.

Even the best scientists, often, can’t see past the limitations of the accepted known into new unexplored dimensions. They are stopped by what they’re certain about. All science is yesterday’s news. It was true then. It may still apply or it may not. We just don’t know, yet.

Scientific ‘fact’ is theory. The aim of science is to create theories that help explain and illuminate. The first goal in the scientific method is a well constructed, operationalized test, that can be verified and replicated. Then tests are carried out and the results examined.

Knowledge Is Limited – Imagination Encircles The World

If the results can be duplicated then they may be onto something. Scientists try to disprove the null hypothesis. They try to disprove their research premise or theory. If they fail to disprove it they may accept is as the best explanation they have to date.

In a nutshell it works this way. Until there is a better explanation ‘science’ accepts the best theory they have to date. Science isn’t about truth it is about exploring and finding the best descriptions. Temporary answers that move us forward to the next discovery.

Science is about uncovering ‘what is’ but not becoming religious about it. However, frequently scientists do. The best minds of the day are often the loudest voices against innovations. ‘If humans were meant to fly God would have given them wings!’

The Man Who Has No Imagination Has No Wings

Often times new, legitimate research has difficulty finding  journal publication because it counters the current, accepted scientific views. If it goes against popular theory or there is no money in it may get reported.  Alternately, some ‘science’ is bought and paid for.

Sadly, in our day, scientific research is reported daily in media without waiting for results to be replicated.  Duplication is a hallmark tenant of the scientific method. If a research can’t be replicated it may be considered questionable.

One example doesn’t cut it. We don’t make a case on one. We rely on more verification for research to be accepted. At least good science does. Media doesn’t care what is good science. It only cares what brings up the ratings and the profits through viewership.

Logic Gets You A to Z – Imagination Takes You Everywhere Else

This is why one day it is reported that, researchers of one study, found X is beneficial for you and the next day another study finds that X isn’t. This is media exploitation, not science.  Many people either believe it and quote it, or assume it is all just media junk.

Either way it impacts on our thinking. Imagination means going beyond what is and what is known. It allows us to move beyond the limitations or what is known about a problem and look into other possibilities. We ought not be stopped by what we know.

Often, however, we are. When attempting to create something new inertia needs to be overcome. Even some of the most progressive minds display resistance when it comes to new and novel ideas. Remember, what we resist persists and this is true of science too.

The World Is But A Canvas To Our Imagination

Accepting new ideas doesn’t mean running to a roof top and trying to fly. If you want to try to fly begin by ascending from the sidewalk not leaping from great heights. Prudence, common sense, which is not so common, is also required. Safety first is a useful frame.

Imagination can take us to places we would never go. It allows us to think big and think beyond the given. It allows us to triumph over circumstances and become the person of our dreams. Act as if, our visualizations, our mental movies are directing our imagination.

Unrestrained imagination can be wildly creative or frivolous fantasy. Directed, intentional use of imagination can help us achieve great things and accomplish our goals and our purpose. Think big, dream big, plan big, don’t let not knowing how stop you, instead adventure.

Real Discovery Is Not New Landscapes But Seeing With New Eyes

Explore. Go for it. Do it!  Act as if you are already that person you want to be. Mentally live it and rehearse it. See it, feel it, speak it, behave it, be it and you can become it. You become what you think about the most. Transform yourself by what IS possible.

Don’t be like the scientist who says no to innovation. The present circumstance, though dire, okay terrible, are not the final answer. Neither are glorious circumstances. Circumstances should not dictate how far you go. You should dictate that. You decide!

Triumph over your circumstances. Learn from them. Grow from them. Discover new ways of being and doing because of them. Accept their challenge and be victorious. If you give up you will have succeeded in giving up. If you keep going you can succeed.

The Results You Get – You Bring About What You Think About 

You decide what your future will be each moment. Give yourself permission to dream big and discover new potential. Had the Wright Brothers not thought about soaring in the skies we might not have flown yet. Thomas Savery conceived of the steam engine.

Had Edison not thought about making electric light available we might not have lamps, television or movies, and much more. Tesla provided us with alternating current. Ford the automobile. Gates, Jobs and others computers, software and smart phones.

Einstein revolutionized science and stated, ‘imagination IS more important than knowledge’. Napoleon Hill stated, ‘What the mind of man can conceive and bring itself to believe, it can achieve’. To innovate we need to dream it up AND believe we can accomplish it.

Imagination And Creativity Can Change Your World

What we focus on we get. What we think about we bring about. Many people use their imagination to end up with less than glorious or even horrible results. Fearing the worst, they worry and rehearse negative circumstances in their mind. Then they live out the results.

Stop negative planning and creation! Create what you want instead of what you don’t want. Focus on what you want. Focus on the good, the positive, and use your imagination to bring that about. What YOU think about YOU bring about. Keep it in mind and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Boys And Girls Man Up!

Who is responsible for your life? You are, right? At least, most of ud would say that we are. We may own up to it,  and yet, frankly, a lot of people, maybe even us, blame others and circumstances, and just about anything and everything, when things don’t go as they want.

We point to anything other than ourselves. Sometimes, we do blame ourselves; like when we think we are an idiot or something worse. Apart from that, mostly we blame everything outside ourself. I am not suggesting we should blame ourselves, nope, not at all.

I am suggesting taking responsibility for ourselves, our reactions, and our responses when things go awry. Whomever or whatever is the cause of it. Take responsibility for making the best of a bad situation. Instead of blaming and whining do something positive.

Your Life Changes When You Take Complete Responsibility For It

Take action. Correct the wrong. Work to make it better. Take charge of yourself. Be a role model. No one likes a whiner, a blamer or one who hides behind excuses. Stop blaming the freeway for when you are late, or your alarm clock. It isn’t others’s responsibility.

It is your responsibility to be on time so adjust accordingly. Apply the same thought to anything else that may happens. If you want to take credit for the wins you have to take credit for the losses. Instead of wallowing, which some might do, take action. Think positive and act!

Experts Say These Things Screw You Up And Prevent You From Having What You Want

“If you are not being, doing and having what you want in your career, your relationships, your finances or your life what is it you are getting? What is happening or not happening? Why aren’t you creating or attracting what you want?

Some of the well-intentioned gurus say you have limiting beliefs, paradigms, behaviors and habits that hold you back. These, they say, limit you and do not allow you to maximize your potential. These screw you up and are why the Law of Attraction won’t work for you.

Here’s the rub with that thinking. The Law of Attraction is always working! It is always attracting something. It’s either attracting what you want or what you don’t want it. It is ALWAYS working. You don’t turn it on or turn it off. It is ongoing. It IS process.

Whatever Your Mind Feeds Upon Your Mind Attracts To You

EVEN if you do not believe in the Law Of Attraction it is a useful concept. It does’t require you to believe in it to utilize the principle to make you life better. It is a useful way of organizing your thoughts feelings and behaviors to get what you want. You can use anything!

According to the Law of Attraction you attract what you are. What you vibrate at. You attract what you pay attention to most of the time and what you are feeling. Feel good attract more good. Feel bad attract more bad. You get whatever you are already doing the most.

To get what you want means you begin to focus on what you want and keep it there. You focus on who you are and what you want to become. Imagine what you want as if you already have it. If you feel good while imagining it you will attract that. Key point here!

Our Only Limitations Are Those We Set Up In Our Own Minds

If you feel bad or less than good while imagining it you are not going to get what you are imagining but will create or attract more of the not so good feelings. It must feel good, it must feel right. It must to get more of it. You get whatever you think and feel, Understand?

If you are focused on problems and feel bad you get more of the same. If bills are overwhelming you and you are worried you get more of the same. If you are negative you create and attract more of the negativity. It is always working. Key point here!

IF you’re focused on having limiting beliefs, paradigms, behaviors and habits that hold you back then WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BE ATTRACTING? According to the Law Of Attraction WHAT will you attract? You get what you focus on. Remember?

One Comes To Believe Whatever One Repeats To Oneself

You become what you think about most often! You will end up attracting MORE OF THE SAME! This kind of thinking IS counter to manifesting positively the good things you want. DO you understand this. You can’t buy into the premise that YOU are broken somehow.

The idea that you somehow sabotage yourself or hold yourself back or somehow keep yourself or prevent yourself from getting what you want unconsciously IS FOCUSING ON WHAT YOU DON”T WANT? Can you see that? It doesn’t help you get what you want.

So what to do?

You can consider it this way. The farmer must prepare the soil prior to planting the seeds. The earth must be cleared of weeds and rocks and other elements to make certain the soil conditions are right for the seeds to grow. That is part of the planting process.

Success Comes To Those Who Become Success Conscious

If you want to dedicate yourself to clearing out some limiting beliefs, or some bad behaviors and habits take a limited amount of time.  Take 30 days. Mentally limit yourself to the notion that you are simply preparing the soil. That is a fine practice. BUT know this:

There is NOTHING wrong with you! You’re not sabotaging yourself. You’re not limiting yourself. You work perfectly well! You manifest whatever you focus on. Be sure you’re focusing on what you want and not what you don’t want.

Don’t be distracted or focus on limitation. Be focused on creating the goodness that you are worthy of and deserve! Do you get it? If you take your eyes off the prize because somehow you’re not good enough to get it then you’re not going to have to get it.

A Negative Mind Never Attracts Happiness Or Material Success

You won’t get it  BECAUSE you continue to perpetuate the myth that something is wrong with you. That’s what you continue to perpetuate. You are always attracting. You are a master at attracting. You cannot NOT attract or create. That’s the law!

If things aren’t going the way you want IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE ATTRACTING THAT CURRENTLY! You must stop what you are currently doing and do something else! You can’t do the same things over and over and expect anything to be different. It won’t be.

You cannot think in terms of limitation and decrease and expect to increase and prosper. To increase and prosper attention must be on increasing and prospering. It must be on ‘I’m feeling worthy and I deserve all the goodness that is coming to me now’.

A Negative Mind Spawns Only Negative Ideas

Create what you want. Focus on what you. Focus on what you can become. Focus on the good. Focus on making it happen and accepting that you are good enough and that you are worthy. Focus on right now knowing you have everything you need. You do!

You have everything you need to be the powerful creator you already are. Stop creating a mess and start creating bliss and prosperity Get it? Take responsibility for everything and choose to create and attract a better life.

You are in charge.  You are already creating everything. YOU ARE ALWAYS creating and attracting. Since, you can’t not it is time for you to specify and create what you want to create instead of anything else. Don’t be misled by yourself or by others!

Progress In Life Begins In The Mind And Ends In The Same Place

It’s OK to take some time to prepare the soil. That is absolutely a positive move. BUT realize you are worthy even while preparing. You don’t need anything else! You’re already doing everything.  The real question is what are you aiming at? What are you thinking?

You’re getting exactly what you create day in and day out. That’s how this all works. It doesn’t stop. It doesn’t choose. It just does. It just is! It is ongoing, day in and day out. You determine what you get by what you focus on most frequently. So choose wisely!

All you do is decide whether you’re sending your thoughts and your feelings at the positive or at the ‘not’ positive. If it is not positive that’s what you’re creating. If it is positive that is what you are creating. You aim the car and that is where it goes. Get it?

Your Own Mental Attitude Is Your Real Boss

Make up your mind because you absolutely can get everything you want. STOP thinking you are broken, sabotaging yourself or needing more. You simply have to shift what you focus on. Shift away from the negative thoughts and feelings.

Maintain focus on positive thoughts and feeling. Yes, it is not always easy. It is simple but not always easy. It takes dedication and perseverance but so what? It can be done AND YOU can do it. Don’t be misled into thinking you need to be fixed first.

Yes, you must apply it moment to moment. That IS how you gain control. Yes, you fill your mind with positive thoughts by reading positive materials, listening to inspiring audios and by hanging around with other positive people.

Change Your Attitude And The World Around You Will Change

You attend events and keep you attention on what you positively want. You maintain a positive attitude or outlook and you feel positive and feel good. Feeling good is a big indicator. The better you feel the more ‘better’ things you attract.

Live your life well and have fun and you will get back more of the same, plus! That is what it means! You don’t attract what you are NOT you attract what you ALREADY ARE! You get back more of what you are! If you are positive and wonderful you get that back.

If you are down and out you get that back. You transform yourself by your thoughts, your feelings and your willpower and the rest begins to change because YOU do. Because YOU have the rest will fall into place eventually. ‘If it is to be it is up to me’, is how the saying goes.

You Become What You Think About

There is more to cover and we will. There is more to learn. I encourage you to study my posts here. Read and re-read and apply what you read to your life. Application of the material is where the power comes from. You must put it to practice to make a difference.

Take charge and you can do it. The only limitations you or I have are the ones we accept we have. (NO, it doesn’t mean you can fly without a plane.) The only limitations are in our thinking. You can and you will do anything and everything when you allow yourself to.

Recognize you are already a creator and attractor. Realize you have everything you need NOW. Apply it. Focus on what makes you feel the best and think the best thoughts. Live your life that way. Enjoy the little things. Feel grateful for everything. Live well.

Keep Your Mind Fixed On What You Want Not On What You Don’t

As you do things that make you feel better; take a walk, enjoy music, enjoy a bath, play with children and pets, read and listen to positive material, have hobbies, the more you live and enjoy, the more you think and feel good the more it comes back to you. It really does!

As it does you continue to create goodness all around you. You learn how to focus on being, doing, getting and having more of what you want to ALSO include. You create more goodness and love and prosperity because you are already living from that mindset.

Clear the soil that is fine. Plant the seeds and nurture them with positivity. Set your mind and your heart, your thoughts and your feelings on enjoying everything. Delight in it all. Learn from challenges and tough times. Everything IS a blessing.

Live – Love – Laugh – Celebrate Everything

The tough times are as important as the easy, blissful times. Extract the learning and shift your attention to the silver linings. All is good once you understand this. Enjoy it all. Embrace it all. You can enjoy so much if you allow yourself to. Keep it in mind! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Whatever Your Excuse Doesn’t Matter: Change It Part 5

“Some people have the belief that change is difficult. Some think that change is easy for others but difficult for them. Some people believe without pain there is no gain and it must hurt to change. Others believe you must wallow around in your pain and hurt endlessly.

Some believe you must understand why you are the way you. Whole schools of therapy arose for this purpose. Uncover why you are broken. Some people believe they are broken; that they sabotage themselves; that they are afraid of failure; or afraid of success.

Whatever one believes you can divide the beliefs into two groups; support beliefs and non-supportive beliefs. Either they support you, uplift you and help you move forward or they limit you pull you down and inhibit your movement. Increase or decrease – that’s it!

Belief Creates The Actual Fact – Positive Or Negative

It doesn’t matter why you have limiting beliefs. You know you have them. You were born. You grew up. It is as simple as that. Accept it! Move on. Learn new beliefs! Learn to respond to triggers instead of reacting to them and your life will improve immensely. It will!

Stop trying, stop  wallowing and trying to figure out why things are they way they are. Decide this is the moment when you change and move forward. Beliefs are either about increase, can do and will do, what is possible. They are positive and you feel good thinking them.

There are those that are about decrease, can’t do, won’t do and what you think is impossible. These are mostly negative and you feel less than glorious or down right bad when you think these. Neither beliefs are true. Either they are useful and serve a purpose or not.

In The Sky There Is No Distinctions Of East And West …

If you believe your beliefs are true, gospel, and unadulterated reality THAT is the first belief you might wish to examine and change. Otherwise, you probably aren’t going to bother doing anything because your beliefs dictate you instead of you dictating them.

You are a victim of your beliefs instead of their master. The most desirable outcome is to learn to become the master of your thoughts. YOU think them, Thoughts SHOULD NOT think you. You can learn to be the master of your thinking and your destiny.

The beliefs you currently hold are habits of thought. You thought these over and over again at one time until they became automatic. Triggers from the outside initiate the process. Some external or internal stimulus occurs and you react out of habit. Pretty much it!

… People Create Distinctions In Their Own Mind And Believe Them

Thoughts arise, feelings follow. What you think determines how you feel. Then what you feel determines your next thoughts. This is how we spiral into negativity. We could have spiraled into positivity the same way by thinking positive thoughts.  So we want to change this.

We want to end the old limiting belief habits and adopt new ones. We make new habits the same way we did the original ones. This time, however, we are doing it consciously. We decide we want to change them. Earlier, we just wired them in without choosing.

Now we choose. When we do, guess what. The old habits arise and it feels tough. Our decision is the stimulus. The old beliefs come rushing in reliably as they always do. The new ones will rush to your support just as reliably. Once you train them to. New for old!

You Can Have Anything You Want If You Quit Believing You Can’t

We must condition our mind to accept the new positive beliefs and wire them in. We replace the old habits with new ones the same way we learn to go to a new address when we move homes or workplace. At first we may find ourselves going to the old address. It’s normal!

Eventually, our brain learns NOT THAT address but THIS ADDRESS and we now reliably go to the new one. The old one isn’t lost we don’t go there any longer UNLESS we choose to. The same applies to changing our beliefs. We don’t lose anything. We exchange them.

We replace old beliefs that don’t support us with new ones. Once replaced they work automatically instead of the old ones. We laid down new neural path way habits. We actually altered the structure of our brains too. We evolved in positive ways. All great benefits.

Believing In Yourself Is The First Secret To Success

The point of these recent posts is for you to examine the limitations you think you have and neutralize them. Then build new positive beliefs by repeating them over and over with strong positive emotions. It is the positive powerful emotions that lock them in.

Feeling good when chanting affirmations often is how we wire in the new beliefs. You can write them out too. It is great. There will be times when you don’t. Times when you backslide. That is all part of the process. Step forward a couple steps, back step, forward again.

As long as you consistently and persistently continue to move forward you will arrive at your destination. Detours and all. While traveling your old beliefs will rise up and your new ones will be challenged. All part of the process of trading in the old for the new.

Always Believe Something Wonderful Is Going To Happen

It is simple but not always easy. You need to use will power from time to time. Some moments will breeze by others seem to take forever. All part of the conditioning, rewiring process. Brains learn from emotion, repetition, over time. You train them like a pet.

You make your brain the servant instead of it being your master. Gain control over your thoughts and beliefs and you will discover a most wonderful and amazing world. You will create, attract and manifest more and more of what you want to include in your life.

You will become the person you always wanted to be, if you choose to. Life gets better and better. There will always be challenges but you play a different game now. You play to win and you love a good challenge. It works this way. Don’t delay begin today! Enjoy it and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

This Too Will Pass: Here Is Why And What To Do!

“No matter how bad it gets it will pass. Everything is temporary. Everything is in flux. Things change. When conditions turn sour it is important to ‘keep the faith’ that ultimately everything will work out for the best. It helps you get through the tough times.

Times will be tough. Accept it. Times will be good. Accept that. The only reason you can’t see the good coming is you can’t see around the bend in the road. It can seem as if nothing will ever change but it will and it does. Your attitude helps you see it through.

A defeatist attitude, a negative attitude prevents you from seeing and finding change and opportunity. Your brain is designed to find the negative and what is wrong, what is out of whack, as an evolutionary protective measure. It is a good thing too that it does.

Overcoming Difficulty Begins With A Positive Attitude And Faith

It is overused in the modern day and age but our brains ability to do this is a positive, good thing. We can see trouble and work to eliminate it. To eliminate it more readily and easily we should be focused on the positive and on solutions not on the issues.

Our brain, when we train it to be positive, looks for opportunities and advantages in the same way it looks for troubles. Our reticular activating system (RAS) finds matches for us from memories and in the outer world for our beliefs and thoughts. It seeks proofs for us.

If we think we’re broken or stupid our brain will look for past prior examples from our experience, and present examples from reality that match that belief about ourselves. It will find the good and the advantages and opportunities if we believe and focus on those too.

Your Hardest Times In Life Often Lead To Your Greatest Moments

Whatever we feed our brains is what they grow on. If we feed it crap we get crap, if we feed it good stuff we get the good stuff. Keep this in mind. Our reality is a direct result of our past and current thinking. If we want different positive results we need to think positive.

We need to think differently! Before moving on I wanted to give readers an opportunity to go back and complete the exercises from the three previous posts. If you have done them, you may wish to repeat each again. Every few weeks you may wish to repeat as well.

The exercises are an opportunity to examine your thinking processes and your beliefs. It is an opportunity to discover and clear out limited thinking and un-supportive beliefs and create new positive ones that you wire in by correct repetition. New habits.

Difficulties Help You Realize Your Hidden Potential

Be sure to do the exercises. Be sure to keep the faith. How you do that is part of doing the exercises and one of the reasons why you want to. Another tried and true method is to maintain a state of gratitude. Focus on what you appreciate and let go of the rest.

Remember, none of the suggestions made here, are to ignore anything that requires attention. If you ignored your bills it wouldn’t get better. You still need to take care of anything and everything that requires being taken care of. Be diligent. Don’t neglect.

The key is learning the positive way to do  it. Dropping it or letting it go means you keep doing whatever it is you are required to do but with a change of attitude, focus and energy. You learn to respond differently instead of having a knee jerk reaction. Learn to let go!

Never Let A Stumble Be Then End Of Your Journey – Get Up Go On

Find solutions. Welcome challenges so you learn and evolve. The kite rises against the wind. Take daily inventory. Seek and find people, places, things, and activities, events, circumstances to be grateful for. Appreciate yourself. Enjoy! Delight and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Whatever Your Excuse Doesn’t Matter: Change It Part 4

“The only limitations that exist, exist in the human mind. If you think you can or you think you can’t you are right. So what is it? Can you or can’t you? Will you or will you not? It is all up to you and what you believe is or isn’t possible. You decide and that becomes your reality.

By changing your beliefs, and your thinking, by adopting supportive ones and creating new neural pathways you will be able to turn mountains into mole hills, or at least, you will begin to appreciate the beauty of the mountains. Everything changes. Your brain changes!

You will find opportunities you literally could not see or find before. Your chronic old habits of thought prevented you. By adopting new positive thoughts and feelings your brain structure changes, your RAS ramps up and looks for supporting evidence. It finds it too!

Nothing Is Impossible If You Have Discipline And Determination

Eliminate the negative, accentuate the positive. When you change your thinking you see and experience things differently. You talk differently to yourself and others. You feel differently in positive ways. Everything changes. Some things quickly. Some in time.

At first, it may seem difficult to change because your excuse thinking is habit. It will woo you back. Persist! Take 100% responsibility for yourself and circumstances. Stop blaming others and events and making excuses. Take charge of your thoughts and actions.

Most of us believe our reasons and blames and excuses are true. They are not. That isn’t the point. The point is, ARE they helpful? While having them may keep you safe, what else do they do for you? Do they support you and make you feel good? How so?

Excuses Are Lies Wrapped Up In Reason

Do the reasons why you can’t be rich, happy or pursue your dreams support you? Do they move you forward? What are they doing for you? If they aren’t supportive and helpful, perhaps, it is time to let them go. Drop them. It is time for you to change, don’t you think?

You must turn your back on what you do not want. Focus on what you DO want. You can work your way up to it. In my seminars and workshops I give you an easy and entire process that is amazing. For now, do this one powerful thing. Change your thoughts and beliefs.

Write these out. Provide the supportive reasons for:

I can be happy because

The reason I am rich is

I am successful because I

I can do it because

I will do it because

Fill in the blank. Answer the questions. Keep going. Find all the reasons why you can be happy, rich and able to do what you want. Dig deep. Notice the ones you easily believe and accept. Notice if there are ones you aren’t completely positive about.

Determination Is Power – Stick With It

Keep going. How do you feel? Do you like what you feel? This is an opportunity to notice whatever it is you notice. Reflect on these. Think back on the earlier exercises. Notice how you now think and feel different. Have you examined these thoughts for the truth?

Examine the positive thoughts; the ‘I can’ and the ‘I will’ thinking. It may or may not feel familiar. The question, is are these thoughts helpful or supportive of you. You may not believe them yet, but if you could, or if you did, would you feel better and move forward more?

Reflect on your thoughts, your answers, your feelings. Consider this: if something holds you back, brings you down and  doesn’t get you closer to what you want why think about it, talk about it and relive it over and over again? Drop it! Drop that story. Drop the negativity.’

When You Really Want To – You Find A Way …

Drop what you don’t want. Shift your focus to that which makes you feel better, makes you a little more hopeful and optimistic. Focus on that which makes you move closer to what you want. Think and speak about this. Feel this over and over. Re-live the  positive good.

Tell the story about how you are shifting. You may have challenges but you look for opportunities. Perhaps, you used to think you couldn’t but you know realize you are able to when you take tiny enough steps. You seek the good in all situations. You enjoy life.

When challenges arise focus on what you can find that is opportune. Perhaps, it tests you, gives you an opportunity to develop your will power and persistence. It gives you ‘good game. Bring it!’ attitude. Discover the positive elements to focus on and appreciate.

… When You Don’t Want To You Find An Excuse

Focus on the good. Remove focus from the not so good. You don’t have to be ecstatic. Just move forward with a positive mindset. Ask yourself; are your thoughts and feelings supporting you and moving you forward? Are you speaking what you want and living from that?

Compare and contrast. Adjust accordingly. Learn to be positive most of the time. Learn to think, feel and act in your own best interests. Positive thoughts lead to positive results. Move closer to your goals when you speak by speaking positively about what you want.

Instead of keeping them away with negativey, blames and excuses. Draw them closer. Begin to create the life you want to live. Determine that you will! Enjoy life, delight in it all and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Whatever Your Excuse Doesn’t Matter Part 3

“Happiness and success is based on some very simple principles or steps. The results you get in life is based on your thoughts, your actions and your habits. Most people have difficulty making their dreams come true because they don’t take responsibility for these.

In the past few blog posts we have explored identifying limiting beliefs and negative thoughts. Typically, these are expressed as blames, excuses, reasons ‘why’ you can’t be happy or successful. The first step is awareness, the uncovering process.

If you haven’t yet done this, go back a couple posts and do the exercises. Once we become aware of how we think we are limited we can begin to change it . From awareness we move into understanding. We can begin to see how these old beliefs limit us.

Right Awareness And Understanding Leads To Positive Changes

At this point, we may realize we need to make a change. As Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill and others have stated, ‘the only limitations humans have is in their thinking’. The only limitations that exist for us are the ones we THINK we have. We must change our thinking.

Instead of remaining stuck with limited thinking we make the decision to take responsibility for everything in our life, the good and the not so good. This gives us choice as to how we view our circumstances. Everything can become an opportunity for us.

When we decide to take responsibility for everything we take charge, we determine the meaning of each event without assigning blame. If we created it we must be doing it for a useful reason. We can look for the seed of opportunity within adversity.

As Our Awareness Grows – We Grow

Yes, it is an arbitrary assignment of meaning. Instead, of blaming and excusing we re-frame circumstances, events, disappointments and look for the possible positive intent. We chose to be optimistic about all of our life circumstances and maintain a positive slant or position.

Make sure you have done the second exercise in replacing ‘I can’t’ thinking with ‘I won’t’. This clearly places the responsibility on your shoulders. You may not like the feelings that accompany this but understand the liberation that can occur. Ultimately, it is freeing!

It begins with awareness! You become aware of limitations, and then you become aware of your reluctance or resistance to accept FULL responsibility. If you explore it you may see that these limiting thoughts loop round and round. Some people quickly dismiss it all.

When You Take Responsibility For Everything Everything Changes

It is more comfortable to dismiss and remain the same than to face ourselves courageously.  I do it, you do it, we all have. It keeps things status quo. Though the status quo may be uncomfortable, at least is is not as uncomfortable as having to change it.

If you are astute in your awareness you will recognize this as an opportunity to state ‘I will not change’ instead of running the same old thinking patterns again. Every moment is a opportunity to become aware of what you think and how it affects you.

In all of it you have the possibility to discover your incredible resourcefulness and creativity. You can begin to look at yourself and your circumstances in an entirely new positive light. You can begin to see there is nothing holding you back but your limited thoughts.

People Would Learn From Mistakes – If They Didn’t Deny Them

Great news. You can change your limited thoughts. You may not be able to change, and typically can’t, the weather, the economy, events, and other people but you can change your thinking and your reactions to these.

You can liberate yourself and choose to respond instead. It is in the process of recognizing a limitation or problem or what you don’t want and turning away from it and shifting your attention to what you can and will do to make it better that transformation occurs.

You can determine how you WILL make things different for yourself because you CAN and WILL. You can and will take charge of how you think, feel, and act. You will develop new habits of successful thought, feeling and actions that lead to new positive results.

I Can – I Will – End Of Story – Period

None of us will ever do it if we don’t change where we put the control for our lives. If others and circumstances dictate we are like a cork bobbing in the water going wherever the current takes us. We are puppets. If we take charge we have a mighty say in all of it.

In my next post I’ll add a new exercise designed to help continue to dissolve the limitations and build new positive, powerful beliefs. There is no need to rush. Be thorough in your exploration. Take your time. Repeat the exercises now prior to adding in the new ones.

Explore, discover, find and become aware. Understand how limited thinking holds you back from your goals and dreams to be, do and have the life you want. Become aware and understand how changing your beliefs and locus of power can make everything better for you.

Create The Life You Can’t Wait To Wake Up To

Assume the control for your thoughts,feelings, actions, habits and the results you get. Once in charge you can adapt and adopt, you can change as needed. You become more flexible and much more able. It is a great advantage to live with positive power and optimism.

Everything can be wonderfully different. It can begin right now. Take a moment to feel grateful for everything; for learning about limitations that held you back, for all the disappointments and each moment that led you to right now. You can look back, connect dots.

Everything has a way of working together. Ultimately, it all works out and works out for good, you just can’t see it yet. IF just NOW you went off and thought BS, not true, etc. that is a belief you may wish to address. Instead of believing limiting beliefs you get to choose.

Wake Up With Determination – Go To Bed With Satisfaction

You pick the beliefs you want to live from that support you. You determine how you are going to play this game of life. You make the rules. You are in charge. You can decide that everything always works out and that you are blessed! You can be grateful for it all.

Begin to find everything you can think of that is a blessing and feel how wonderful it is. Write them out. List them daily. Most importantly, savor the feelings that arise from appreciation. It is the feelings that are most important. Feel these fully! Enjoy them!

You can and will transform yourself and your life for the better as you do these things. Do these consistently, repeatedly, for long enough and you will develop new neural pathways. Your brain will make you new success habits to live from. It will become automatic.

I Will Either Find A Way – Or I Will Make One

Everything improves. You can handle disappointment better! Wouldn’t you like that? You can accomplish much more and can achieve your goals? You can make positive things happen in your life and feel wonderful much more of the time. It can become incredible!

Look for and discover more and more to be grateful for. Life changes when you do! Fill your moments and your thoughts with gratitude. Feel blessed. Act blessed and more blessings come your way. It works! It really does. Look for the good in all. Find it and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
