When You Look Outside Yourself What Do You See?

“When you look at others what do you see? What do circumstances reveal to you?  What do you notice? How do you feel? What do you pay attention to? How do you react? Have you ever thought about what is going on outside of you and why it might be going that way?

Do you realize every thought you think, every experience you have, each and every relationship, every ‘thing’ and everything in your life is a reflection of what goes on inside you? It is all a mirror to what is within you. ‘As within, so without’, ‘As above, so below’. It is all you.

It is all me. It is each of us. Our thinking, feeling, speaking and behaving reveals who we are within. We reflect and radiate who we are to the world and those around us. Instead of thinking it is others, or  circumstances responsible for our lot, look inside. Discover!

Life Is A Reflection Of What We Allow Ourselves To See

You can’t learn other people’s life lessons. They must do that work for themselves. They will only do it when they are ready. This applies to you too. When ready, you will learn the lessons and make the changes YOU are supposed to. Look within. See. Become aware.

Look at the lessons the mirror provides. Don’t blame the mirror. Become aware of what is reflected and what you may wish to change. The more willing you are to look and to learn every day, at each opportunity, the more quickly you will transform. Get it?

Stop judging others and circumstances. Look for the lesson provided you. Look at how you can change in response to others and circumstances. It can burn. It can be difficult. The truth can hurt but when you do seek to be better, you can become better. It’s up to you.

Life Reflects Your Choices – What Are You Choosing Each Moment

You won’t see better wearing blinders. You need to see your blind spots. You need to see what you have missed. You need to recognize those things you blame others for. Your need to notice how you react. You need to see these things, so you can get free. Let go!

Look at those things that hold you back and drop them. Release and let go of the weight of your problems. Release the blames and excuses, the judgements and resentments. Release and be free. Stop blaming the mirror. Be pleased you have mirrors around. Be glad the mirrors are here to help you. Evolve yourself and transform. Be grateful for all of it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Why And How You View Things Matters Big Time!

“Recently I wrote: When trouble or difficulty arises, when doors close, look to see what other doors open. The trouble is there for you to find a new path, a new friend, a new way to be. It exists so you can walk down new avenues. These are gifts that come into your life.

Do you see? Do you see that how you view things absolutely matters? Do you realize that while focused on the troubles you miss the good that is available. Once you label things as ‘bad’ you set the course for how things tend to be. Labeling makes it so. It does.

If it weren’t for the trouble the good you experience might  not be there. Get it? That calamity was the way the new good to makes its way to you. You gained a friend, an ear, a confidant, a lover. You gained much more. Most people only know this looking back.

What You Think And What You Say Is What You See And Get 

After the ‘trouble’ has past people often remark that ‘it was the best thing to have ever happened to them’ and they can see that now, looking back. Obviously, they didn’t think so while it was happening. BUT what if you could? What if you decided it would all be good?

Imagine that! Knowing that no matter what happens ultimately all will be well. In the long run, it all works out for the best. Then perhaps you could recognize the difficulty as temporary, and a good thing because it is making way for the good things to come.

You know, a forest fire is a good thing. We don’t think so but the fires are necessary for new growth. It is difficult for us to imagine, but that is because of how we perceive it. Our attitude, our mindset makes a big difference. Adjust your mindset and life gets better.

You Create Your Reality By Your Response To What Happens

Whenever troubles come be vigilant to the positive changes that come your way too. Inside the adversity IS incredible learning and the seeds of positive opportunity! Blessings do abound. Be grateful. Look and see. Consider all a blessing and all will be a blessing. What you think it is, is what it is!  Say thank you and truly celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Think And Say Greatly Matters

“Each of each of us would benefit greatly to develop the ability to see beyond the present negative circumstances. We need to learn to exercise our ability to not be impacted by less than glorious circumstances. We need to stop judging and become lighthearted.

To the extent we can be nonjudgemental is the degree to which we can triumph over our individual circumstances and move forward more easily creating the life we want. Our perceptions create and shape our reality. We need to stop judging! Become carefree!

When circumstances are negative how does you react? If you react the way you always do then you’re not free. If you can learn to respond instead, and to choose differently, instead of knee jerk react,  then you have possibilities. To do this, stop judging.

What You Say Is What You Get – What You See Is What You Get

Then you become open to numerous, potentially, infinite possibilities. We need to go beyond our judgements, our biases, and be able to hold different views of our circumstances. How we view our circumstances makes them so. When we label, we freeze them.

When we label, we declare what it is. Our thoughts and words have power. They have the power to free us or trap us. If we declare something bad, then it is bad. Get it? Whatever we think or say about it makes it so. However, we can choose to think differently.

When we think differently our perceptions change. If instead of it being a problem we call it an opportunity then we have an opportunity. It is always there. It remains hidden until we declare and affirm that opportunity exists. Our thoughts are important.

You Become What You Think About Most Each Day

How do you wish to go through the world? How do you wish to perceive things that arise in your life? Is it trouble or a new situation? Is it a problem or an opportunity? It is all how you perceive it. Can you learn to suspend judgement and make it work for you?

If we aren’t able to get past our perceptions about circumstances then we are a victim of them and not the victor.  We need to learn how to take charge, manage our mindset and transform our thoughts and hence our circumstances. We become what we think about. We get whatever we focus on. Get it? Learn instead to celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Live The Life You Want

“Creating your best life ever is the result of a combination of principles. It is a combination of planning and pursuing what it is you want the most, while allowing it to unfold and staying out of the way as it does. It is persistence and acceptance. It is flexibility.

As things unfold you accept and allow. You may also adjust and continue. Without a firm, clear desire, something you absolutely desire passionately, you have no direction. You must know where you want to end up. You must plan and expect to get there.

You need to take positive steps that are necessary to get there. This means take action. You are proactive. You do whatever you can that is good, and positive, to create the life you want. You pursue your dreams. You follow your intuition. You ask, seek and knock. Get it.

Plant Your Seeds And Trust They Will Grow In Abundance

AND you allow your efforts to come to fruition. You plant a seed, nurture it and let nature or god take care of the rest. You are responsible for your part and universe, god, or source  is responsible for the all else. You mix the cake mix and let the oven do the baking.

Keep the faith. Adjust as necessary and trust. You planted the seed, you nurture as part of the process, and you let it grow according to nature or natural laws. Sometimes troubled times appear but don’t be discouraged. To grow strong you need some troubled times.

Learn from the lessons and opportunity that hides within all adversity. Learn, grow, study, evolve, invest in yourself. Become better, happier, healthier andt wealthier. Transform yourself by planning and allowing. Both are necessary to live the life you desire and are intended to live. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Stop Giving Your Mind Your Power And Your Rights Away!

“We live in confusing and chaotic times, according to some. We also live in very good and wonderful times. Elements counter and combat each other. The world has always had sunshine during great catastrophes. Both exist simultaneously.

There is no judgement until a human renders one!

All is good is a perception. All is bad is a perception. Judgements on both sides. As an individual we need to choose which we want to be our predominant mindset. This makes all the difference in how we experience life. If we don’t choose, we already have chosen.

We must come down on one side or the other. We can focus primarily on all that is good, while not ignoring the bad, we can work to create what we want. We don’t succumb to the bad but we focus our efforts on solutions and creating what we want instead.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

We know we don’t want the bad so we work on creating what we do want. It is a simple concept. Some focus mostly on the bad and try to escape from the harm. They keep running from that which they don’t want. Sadly, they may not know where to run to. This is a problem.

This is why we utilize the bad, what we don’t want, to clarify the good and what we do want. We specify what we want and they work to accomplish it. We do so without blinders but we shift our attention away from what we don’t want TO what we do want!

This makes all the difference. Energy flows where attention goes. One gets exhausted running from the bad. One may get invigorated creating something beautiful. Where you focus and put your attention and energy determines what you get back and experience.

Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

Which do you want? Especially in these confusing days. We have so much hurled at us moment to  moment. Social media, news, our culture, our family and friends. We are constantly bombarded by distractions, negative thoughts, energy and activity all day long!

We seem to be lead by chaos and confusion. That is a principle way to divide and conquer. Half truths and lies perpetuated for effect.
Governments have ruled this way. It appears the way we are being led. It is time for people to wake up, seek accurate information.

Get accurate information when and where you can find it. Stop swallowing everything that happens in a news cycle. The instantaneous nature of our internet life is mind numbing and dulling. Learn to wait and see. Evaluate before swallowing.

What You Focus On Expands – You Get What You Think About

Stand up for yourself and your rights. Be vigilant. The great distraction is instant news. Just as it is instant text and phone calls. It is great you can be reached anytime and anywhere AND it also has a downside. How often are you distracted by your own phone.

Interruptions rule our day. Subliminal messages in songs, and shows and news and billboards. I don’t mean the nefarious kinds but those can be included. Learn to think and feel and act for yourself with the great good for all in mind too. We have become too selfish.

We are too self absorbed. If there are nefarious forces they will rule over us because we are too busy to notice our rights and privileges being stripped away. We are too  busy seeking after and obtaining the next shiny object. Like fish we are lured astray. Hooked!

Seek Accurate Information – Don’t Be Swayed By Opinion

Caught! Stop. Claim your mind back. Claim your life back. Help make the world better for yourself and your family and neighbors. So not be led astray. Lemmings follow lemmings right over the edge. Stop! Think, and act wisely! ACT!

Don’t be caught up in advertising and social media. Some of it is good. Some not good. Focus on what you want to build that is better while aware of what you want to avoid. Turn your focus to creating the best life and along the way celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Need To Know About The Dark Times!

“Darkness is necessary for growth, as is sunlight. Everything has a season. Tides come in and go out. Life changes. People change. Nothing is written in stone.  It is all physical, mental and emotional processes. Process implies movement and movement is change.

Never give up. Even if you did nothing at all, ever, you would change. That is nature. That is the nature of life. Everything changes given enough time. Nothing is permanent. Everything is in flux at some level. You may or may not notice it but everything moves. Atoms.

Thoughts are simply those things you think. They are not you. They are something you do from habit. You may not like the thoughts you think much of the time. You may not like the results of your thinking. Still, habits can be changed. You can change your thinking! You!

Energy Isn’t Created Or Destroyed – Energy Is Transformed

Take control. It can be instantaneous, mostly it is by step by step. You change inch by inch, foot by foot, yard by yard, mile by mile. It is incremental. It seems slow at first but it gets faster as you go along. The more you do, the more you are able to do, and more easily.

You get better at it. So, know this: you can, and will, always get through, and beyond, any troubling issue. It may not seem like it but you can, if you decide to. It is difficult to see connections projecting forward. You can’t. You can only connect the dots looking back.

You can’t connect dots looking forward. Moving forward you need to decide, plan, take action and move. You go a far as you can see and when you get there you can see farther. Looking back, you may find the meaning of troubling situations BUT, in reality, all are blessings.

Focus On What You Have To Gain – Not On What You Give Up

Learn to practice gratitude for the past. Be grateful for every bit, all past. You may say, ‘but, but’. BUT do it. Learn to appreciate all the hard, dark, even terrible moments. You got through them. That was then. What did you, what could you, learn from the past?

It is no longer! Don’t carry the baggage from the past. Look back and see it how it brought you to now, this moment, where you can change your thoughts about it, and transform your life for the better. Feel gratitude for the past. Be thankful for the present, this moment.

Feel blessed for all of it, then and now; every moment, person, event and circumstance. Expect to be blessed in the future. Unexpected good will come your way, Feel gratitude for the future. You will be different. That moment passed, this moment, too will pass.

If You Want All Things To Change Faster – Change Yourself

You will always land on your feet. Expect to. Expect unexpected good. Realize, it mostly goes how you think it will; what you think it is. It becomes what you say it is; how you define it determines what you pay attention to. It is the gospel according to you. It’s yours!

What you focus on, you get. Thoughts are things. Still, you can change from negative to positive. You never have to remain stuck. Things change! Learn to think differently about anything. You can learn to feel differently, too. It is whether or not you choose to.

Moving your body, changing your physiology changes your mental and emotional state.  Exercise and hard physical work has been prescribed for depression and anxiety since ancient times. Everything can change, if you are willing. You can make it better.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right 

Move, go for a walk. Change your thinking. Focus on what you want, not on the problems. Practice gratitude. Feel the gratitude. Stay with it. Focus on it, again and again. Read inspiring materials. Surround yourself with positive people and messages. Affirm your power and visualize the good, again and again. It gets better! Especially, when you celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Secret To Experiencing True Abundance

“What is true abundance? Is it just piles of cash and free time? Does it mean you have all the things you want? How come some people are very rich, but greedy? They don’t seem to be coming from abundance or even seem very nice. What is it to be truly abundant?

True abundance is the ability, the ability, to know that you are fine. Everything is okay. You love your life.  You have more than enough to live your desired lifestyle. You know and are certain that if it all disappeared, and you lost everything, you would create more.

You are comfortable with your ability to create. You know that you can attract whatever you need. You are the source of your abundance and power.  You are confident in you ability to create. You know you have this ability. Everything will be fine. It always is.

True Abundance Is Not Something We Acquire It is What We Are

You are confident in yourself so you experience life as magical every moment. You understand life is not about money but about the experience you have. It is all about love and  joy. True abundance is about loving relationships, friends and helping each other.

You can be happy.  You don’t have  money worries because you’re bigger than any obstacle . You triumph over circumstances. You can create. You can manifest. If you lost everything you know that you created before and you’ll do it again. All is good! ALL is good!

You CAN experience true abundance. YOU can begin to feel more abundant even now, if you don’t already. Stop focusing on lack. Focus on what you do have.  Focus on feeling fulfilled. Concentrate on those things that are true wealth; family, friends, and  time to enjoy.

Gratitude Opens The Door To Abundance – Appreciate – Be Glad

Abundance isn’t about what you have, it is about who you are. It is your ability to celebrate and enjoy no matter what is going on. It is the conviction that, ‘at the worst’ you are, and will be, fine. How do you get there? Practice gratitude! Allow yourself to feel blessed.

Count your blessings daily. Don’t focus on outer circumstances. Focus on your ability to create. Manifest small things daily. Practice manifesting and creating. Set intentions and make them happen. You don’t wait or wish when you create, you take charge.

I’ll share more next time. Meanwhile, do little things, that allow you to feel better; feel marvelous. Treat yourself!  Enjoy small things. Savor family and friends and free time. Have a meal. Decide what you want because you want it, not because of the cost.

Abundance Is The Ability To Create And The Ability To Allow

Look at the menu without looking at the prices. Enjoy something without money being a concern. Treat yourself to small gifts. Gifts you purchase or make. Hang out someplace you enjoy. The beach, a favorite hotel lobby, anywhere you feel awesome. Allow yourself to feel good. Feel abundance. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How We Can Change Our Perceptions Of Reality

Believing is seeing. Perception is everything. Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right. You have heard these thoughts before. Energy flows where attention goes. A change of thinking changes our perception of the world.  You create reality.

Our brain, our RAS, actually looks for matches in reality to our predominant thoughts. We see and find opportunity, otherwise missed, when we are focused on the positive. Enjoy this article on how open-mindedness and meditation affects our perceptions.

I’d venture that personality is comprised of numerous thought habits. It is not static but dynamic and we can change it by directing our minds. When we do we perceive differently. I’m not sure research into personality is as meaningful as is how we are able to alter perceptions. Still, we can affect our perceptions. What do you think?
