How To Supercharge Your Day

“When it comes to beginning your day, don’t wait. Make it happen. When you arise, think positive. Think how much you love your life and how grateful you are for another day. Use your awakening moments to set the tone for the day. Make it positive and happy.

Decide to vibe high. Decide to feel good! Don’t let circumstances dictate how you feel YOU decide how you feel and how you will feel. Get thrilled and get enthused. Feel happy, positive, powerful, and playful. Be optimistic. Set the frame of mind to make a glorious day.

No one determines how you go through the day, but you. Most people don’t realize this and act as victims to outer influences. The number one thing you can control in this world, in fact the only thing you can absolutely control, is YOU. Control your thoughts!

Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes 

When you take charge, instead of being a victim, you become the victor. You chose to respond differently than others might. You choose to be positive, resourceful and bigger than any obstacle or road block. When you do this daily, you develop the positive habit.

You condition yourself to be more resourceful, more optimistic, more positive and that makes you more clear headed and able to resolve difficulties that may arise. In fact, stop considering difficulties problems but opportunities you haven’t discovered yet.

Manage your mind, your thoughts and feelings and you will act positively more consistently which will get you the kind of results you hope to get. Transform yourself by the renewing of your mind and your heart each and every day. Do it and you will know!

You Need A Positive Morning Ritual

“It is a wonderful practice to begin your day with an early morning meditation session. Upon awakening, before you are too awake, while still in the alpha state, it is easier to meditate. You are already relaxed, so it is the perfect time to spend time meditating.

A great beginning to the day starts while still in bed thinking and affirming, ‘I love my life.’ Reflect on what you are grateful for and aim on having an incredible day. Visualize your goals, look at your vision board or book, read some inspirational material and meditate.

Take time for yourself. Create a daily positive routine you engage in before doing anything else. Don’t check your phone or text or emails. Keep your mind focused on the positive and the optimistic. Think happy, serene, powerful thoughts that support you. Smile and laugh.

You Are And You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You 

Consider making this positive morning routine a habit as you would to build muscle. Condition yourself. Give yourself some positive nutrition prior to going to work, school or elsewhere. Make it a priority. Set yourself and your attitude right from the get go.

How You Start Your Day Determines How Your Day Unfolds!

“Waking up is an incredible opportunity. First, celebrate! You have another day! This in itself is great! Since it is great take a moment and appreciate how fortunate you are. Remember, to love yourself and your life. First thing in the morning while still sleepy.

Before you get out of bed. Linger in feeling grateful. I think, ‘I love my life!’ I also know it will be, and I intend for it to be an incredible day. Whatever comes to me that day is awesome. That is true whether it is awesome or what others might say are difficulties. It’s a blessing.

It is a blessing to be able to handle challenges. Some can’t. Some are dead. They don’t have the opportunity to transform not so glorious moments into better moments. What is, is. We are fortunate to be able to experience it. Sadly, most people are conditioned otherwise.

You Are Where Your Thoughts Have Brought You

Many people dread the day and what it will bring. They don’t look forward to what is available because they worry or fear what might happen. Realize this and this IS important! It is always your choice, and your choice alone, how you approach and greet the day.

It is your choice whether you see something as an opportunity or not. If all you see are problems then you might want to change that. It is all up to you. Your conditioning, your chronic negative thought habits can be change to a powerful, positive mindset. If you do it.

You must take charge. For things in your life to change YOU must change things in your life. You can’t continue doing the same thing repeatedly and expect it to be different. That IS crazy. For it to be different you must become different. AND you can! Start now!

You Will Be Where Your Thoughts Take You

Begin to do things a new way. When you do, bit by bit, you will transform yourself. BUT in order to transform you must take action. Take charge of your thinking. When you do you will transform how you feel and what you do. You’ll start getting the results you want.

Don’t wait. Start right now if you haven’t. If you already have then continue. Persist. Follow through. Add in those daily rituals proven to make a difference. How you begin your day determines how your day may unfold. It sets you up to handle anything that comes to you.

Begin with gratitude and appreciation. Delight you have the day to enjoy. Enjoy it. Make a point to be happy. Determine to look for smiles and to put smiles on your face and on others. Laugh and have fun. Be grateful. Express your thankfulness. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Many Are Called But Few Are Chosen. Are You?

“‘When the student is ready the teacher appears.’ I am always willing to invite people to a party but they determine whether they show up or not. I prepare a buffet. They choose what to eat. I leave it to them. I can expose them to a variety of ways to think about things.

I can lead the horse to water and show the horse a variety of great drinking sources. I can even suggest to the horse, it might wish to try one of the old, the new, or the different choices, but I can’t and won’t and don’t force them to consider what they aren’t able to consider.

The decision to listen, learn, and to apply is up to you. It is an inner job. It is all within you. I don’t judge if one is ready or not or worthy or not. When one is ready the lesson one is learning is revealed with or without an outer teacher. We can learn from all circumstances.

If You Think You Can Or Your Think You Can’t – You Are Right

No one can save a fool from oneself either, so the saying goes. That means, I leave them alone after the invite is made. I can’t and don’t judge, nor can I force, nor will I force them to come to the party. I was invited and didn’t go for years. One day I decided I would go.

I am glad I did! The Bible says, ‘Many are called but few are chosen.’ In this instance, I take that to mean, showing up after the invitation is made. I don’t use it to suggest someone is actually chosen. You can decide that for yourself. My point, it is up to you. Get it?

Everyone sleeps. Everyone eventually wakes up but not all at the same time. If someone still sleeps while I am awake, so what? I was asleep once. They’ll awaken too. You can’t push a rope. Let sleeping dogs lie. Don’t poke them with a stick! Enjoy them and love them.

Seeing Yourself Or Another As A Friend Or A Foe Is A Choice

Accept them. Listen to them. Don’t try to convince. Don’t berate them with your reasoning. Invite them and let them decide whether or not they will show up. Let’s learn to live without judging. Let’s learn to allow and go with whatever the flow is. Wherever it goes.

Concern yourself with your own transformation. Let others do the same. Live and let live. Learn to realize everything is a blessing when you choose to view it that way. That means everything is good and there is opportunity within all circumstances if you decide it is so. Never lose faith. Stay positive and delight in all. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

This Is One Of The Most Powerful Things You Can Do!

“Change is constant. Everything changes. There is ebb and flow. The tide is in the tide is out. Night becomes day, day night. Winter becomes spring. For everything there is a season. Accept what is. Go with the flow. Paddle with the current and travel downstream.

Learn how to accept everything as it is. It’s one of the most profound ways to overcome any challenge in life. Accept what is. Look for the blessing in each moment. Whatever is troubling, know that it, too, will pass. Acceptance, is a state of mind. Manage your attitude.

It is all mindset. Whatever comes our way in life, is part of the process of life. Stop judging and accept unconditionally. Allow it without resistance. Stop fighting and fighting stops. It doesn’t mean giving up. It means letting go. Stop being invested. Allow and accept.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You – Be Here Now

Instead of fighting, you are conserving your energy. Energy flows where your attention goes. Instead of fighting, your energy can go into the present moment, easily. You stop creating more problems. You put an end to negativity. You allow yourself to be resourceful.

You are not judging. You are letting go, not giving up. You aren’t apathetic. You are not resigned or weak. You are more powerful because you are going with what life offers in this moment. You are in one accord instead of divided. You feel blessed because you are.

You are patient. You are accepting. You allow nature to take her course. You are tolerant of whatever comes your way. You are not a victim. You are paddling with the current, moving with the stream. You can find learning and discoveries, blessings all along the way. Celebrate it. Celebrate this moment. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Happiness Is Right Now Not Later

Happiness comes from appreciating what is in this moment. Happiness comes from accepting who you are right now. Happiness comes from the awareness that all is as it is right now. Happiness comes from noticing the good in the present. Happiness is now!

It is not later. It is not previously. It is right now. Happiness is in this moment. When you fill your being with the beauty of now you are happy. Happiness is being fulfilled in this instance. Happiness is not seeking to be somewhere else or feel something else. Happiness is.

“Happiness is directly correlated to what you say inside yourself and what you say to others. Happiness is correlated to the story you tell and believe about yourself. If you want to be happier change your personal story. Put a guard before your lips. Watch what you say.

Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Stop complaining, whining and excusing and start affirming and celebrating what you want to include more of in your life. Emphasize the good. Accentuate the positive. Stop talking crap and gossip and distractions. Let go.

Put an end to negative news and negative reports. Stop negative self talk. Repeat only that which you want to increase. Let go of and stop that which you want to decrease. Build the positive. Shrink the negative. This is how it works. Do it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

So Much Wasted Time David Cassidy’s Final Words

“‘So much wasted time.’ Those were the last words of pop star, idol David Cassidy. Sadly, David passed away at the age of 67. His daughter shared the family’s gratitude for the outpouring of love and condolences and his final words. Those are words to remember.

Stop wasting time and start living in a way that matters. Stop being distracted. Start living fully. Enjoy the moment. This moment is the only moment we have. The next is not guaranteed. Yes, we take the next moment for granted, but it is not assured. Live and love now!

Cassidy said earlier, in regards to why he stopped performing,  “I want to focus on what I am, who I am and how I’ve been without any distractions. I want to love. I want to enjoy life.” Without any distractions. Get that! Without distractions. WOW this is important.

Be Here Now – Be Here Now – Be Here Now – Be Here Now 

Nearly everything out there is either designed to be a distraction or IS a distraction. Social media, news, toys, bright shiny objects, gossips, phones, you name it, if it takes you away from this moment and living fully, by seeking something else, it is a distraction!

Stop Seeking Happiness For Happiness

 

“Sadly, people want to be happy. They think if they have another brighter, shinier object it will make them happy. If they get an award or a promotion they will somehow be better and consequently be happier. More of something elusive is what they think will work.

It doesn’t and it won’t. From most all reports through eons of time having more, or accomplishing, much isn’t the base of lasting or true happiness. So, what is if you can’t become happy this way? True happiness comes from a sense of being happiness right now.

Humans become dissatisfied with what they want. The shiny object becomes dull in time and so we want more. We seek something else to fulfill us. This becomes an endless pursuit. It seems we are only happy when we have something new and better to brag about.

You Are Where Your Thoughts Have Brought You

Since these feelings of satisfaction and happiness come and go, is there something one can do that is more permanent or longer lasting? Yes, is the answer. Start living in the present moment and appreciate what you already have. Be happy now. Right now!

Some people complain they don’t know how. That is because they have practiced being happy through accumulation. It is time to practice being happy for who you are and for what you have right now. Recognize the good in your life. Notice and become aware of it.

It is not just things. It is who you are and how you feel. It is the people in your life. It is the circumstances surrounding you. It is the moment right now. It is the beauty of the earth right now, today, that matters. Stop seeking and start being. That makes the difference.

The More We Do The More We Are Capable Of Doing

Stop wanting to be happy and start accepting the now. Look for the good in you and all around you. Discover that blessings abound. Stop putting off for tomorrow what you have today. Stop making your conception of happiness an ideal. It isn’t a thing to have. Get it?

Happiness isn’t some state you enter. Happiness is a process and a choice. You won’t always feel blissful. You don’t have to either. People get screwed up by their definitions of happiness. They miss it because of what they think it means and what it is. It is a thing!

Happiness is not the absence of everything else that isn’t happiness. Happiness is a process. It is a sense of well-being. It is contentment. Happiness is emphasizing the good. Energy flows where your attention goes. Stop pursuing a thing. Be in a process. Be in flow.

Skill Comes From Doing – Repetition Is The Mother Of Skill

The river isn’t static. It is moving, flowing. Life flows and changes. We feel differently from time to time. Happiness is a choice not a thing! It is a decision as to where you place your attention and what you determine to focus on. The goal is to feel the best you are able.

This doesn’t mean you always need to be amped up and a ten on the glee meter. It means you feel a bit better than a moment ago. If you are down and out you do whatever is necessary to feel a bit better. You move yourself in a more positive and optimistic direction.
