If You Don’t Believe This You Will Not Succeed

“If you  don’t  believe that you will get what you effort for, ask god or the universe for; if you don’t believe your subconscious, god or the universe, or your efforts will give you what we ask for, you  have no reason to expect that you will receive it. You must believe! Trust.

Believe in yourself. Believe in your higher power or source. How can you develop this faith? The Bible provided a clue when Jesus stated “Unless ye be become as a little child, ye shall in no wise enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”  What do you think little children do?

The have complete faith in their provider. They believe their parents will take care of them. They trust wholeheartedly! They also pretend and dream and use their imagination freely and vividly. We all do. Until trained or conditioned out of believing and positive imagining.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You – Skill Comes Of Doing

As children we pretended whole-heartedly. We believed we can be, do and have anything. We trusted those ‘in charge’ to provide for us. We prayed believing our prayers are answered. Whether or not they seemed to be, we believed. Mindset, heart and behaviors matter!

The way you make things happen is by believing in yourself. You believe you can and will do it. You will do it because you are responsible for it. No one else will do it for you. You are the one who makes things happen. Imagine it. Affirm it. Over and over again.

Continue until you absolutely believe it. If you do it correctly, repeatedly, consistently, for long enough, you will come to believe it. Believe it. Develop the faith and imagination of a little child. You can if you practice it. Have faith. Relax, let go and let god.

You Develop Certainty By Conditioning Yourself – Repetition

Sometime, sooner or later you will look back and you will realize all you have created and allowed.  Keep playing and having fun. You will be grateful and express you gratitude then. So begin now. Delight and enjoy. Be grateful. Find all the blessings. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

It Sucks But You Aren’t Thinking Your Own Thoughts!

“I like to be challenged to think and challenge others to think. Thinking is a rare act for most people these days. Especially these days, but for all of time. Most of us live from memories. We run  old mental movies in our mind. The same old memories and thoughts.

We run the same repetitive self-talk we’ve repeated endlessly for years. It never changes but the days change. We rag on ourselves the same way. We blame others and circumstances the same way. Events and people change but our thoughts stay the same.

We live from old preconditioned thoughts we think over and over, believing them to be ‘free thought’. They aren’t. They are rules, beliefs, and opinions we accepted while growing up. We bought into them from parents, peers, experience and media of all types.

The Mind Is As Strong As Its Weakest Think

We are socially conditioned. We think we should go to school, get a job, work 40 hours a week, marry, have kids, be a good citizen because we have bought into that. In and of itself, none of that is not necessarily not good, but it can be if you accept it without choices.

Thinking and regurgitating our old pre-conditioining are two separate things. Opinion versus fact are not the same.  Most of us accept opinion as fact. This is why we are so easily deceived. We don’t bother to check for ourselves. How often do you vet sources?

We believe it because someone said it, or we heard it, read it, saw it on the internet, or TV or in movies and popular songs but we don’t fact check it. We elect officials off of platitudes and slogans and media image campaigns without checking first if they are any good.

You Become What You Think About Most Frequently

We accept so much at face value because it is repeated to us over and over again. We affirm what we are told numerous times. The same applies to our own thinking. We don’t check to actually see whether it is valid or not. Most of our own thinking is broken.

We just believe it is because we ‘think’ it. We shouldn’t! Most of our thoughts are old accepted conditioning that is now habit to think. We do it automatically. We react from habit not from new thought. We are conditioned to do this. We can change, but only if we want.

In order to change we must first become aware of it. We must recognize what we have been doing. We need to take responsibility for it and become aware when we do it next. This requires vigilance and dedication. It may seem difficult, and it can be, but gets easier.

To Change You Must Make The Unconscious Conscious – Be Aware

If you don’t do it you will continue the way you always have. If that is great and okay with you then continue. If it isn’t and you prefer to change and live more fully, abundantly, happily, heathy, wealthy and more successful then you need to make changes now. Don’t wait!

It doesn’t get easier or better the longer you wait. It only gets worse. Realize now, that you are where your thoughts have brought you. Take responsibility for everything you have and don’t have in your life. No one else is responsible for thinking your thoughts but you.

To change become aware when you find yourself thinking old negative, less than glorious, dis-empowering thoughts and change them to more powerful positive thoughts. Continue to do this until you make the new choices, the new thoughts, habit. Get it?

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

It is up to you and no one else. So stop blaming, excusing, and complaining and start telling the stories you want to be told. Create positive life experiences, new goals and dreams you achieve. Live, laugh, and love more. Practice gratitude. This is how you begin to change. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

All Big Ideas Are Met With Opposition!

“All big ideas are met with opposition. When Henry Ford first attempted to sell the automobile people protested stating they didn’t need one since they owned a horse. Edison had difficulty selling the public on electric lighting. Go figure, right? Yup.

Big ideas are opposed. Einstein said, ‘great spirits must do violent contention with mediocre minds’. True dat! Right. We have all been opposed by others. Tell your family you want to be a poet, singer or actor. Probably, you were told you’d fail. But it gets worse. Yup.

Much worse. How much more worse? Much, much! Your own big ideas, your dreams, goals, plans and intentions are met with doubt, fear, anxiety and limiting beliefs. You think, it will never happen. I don’t deserve it. Okay for others but not for me. Get it? Right.

You Go Where Your Thoughts Take You

People are great spirits and their conditioned mind is mediocre. Attempt to make a change and your mind resists and puts you in your place. Many people want to do things but don’t feel like actually doing. They procrastinate, excuse or blame. Resistance from within.

In order to move forward you need to re-condition your mind. Your mind doesn’t care which program it runs. It only runs the one it knows. You need to replace that old conditioning with an updated message that states I CAN instead of I can’t. Change your mind.

Replace the old with the new. Condition yourself for success. Stop resisting and begin cooperating with your self. Set yourself on the path and move forward without the battle, the fear,  the hesitation and worry. Time for faith instead of doubt. You can! Yup. YUP!

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

You may need to learn how. If what you have been doing isn’t working and hasn’t worked then continuing to take that same approach isn’t serving but preventing you. You need to begin to do things and take actions and develop the mindset that works.

Stop failing and start succeeding. Stop fighting with yourself and start living the life you deserve. You can when you know you can. When you believe you can and take right action. When you live intuitively and from your higher self. You can accomplish anything. So start changing. Be happy. Be grateful. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Won’t Make It If You Can’t Concentrate

“There are plenty of distractions in life. Media, social media, gossip, circumstances, events, people and more. Our attention shifts moment to moment. Perhaps, as never before in history, our minds are fractionated and led this way and and that every few seconds.

Films, television, music video, the news shifts focus and directs our attention quickly. We never get to settle on any subject of shot for long before it is replaced.. Reading and handwriting are becoming lost arts. Is it any wonder people have difficulty paying attention?

We have been trained out of concentrating and focusing for any length of time. Yet, that is precisely what we must do in order to create. Students have difficulty sitting still and concentrating ins school as a result. Adults too. They are medicated instead of trained.

F.O.C.U.S. Means – Follow One Course Until Successful – Do It

You can’t be going this way and that when you want to manifest your dreams. You must have purpose, clarity of purpose, and single mindedness. If you conceive it and believe it you can achieve it but to do so requires you put your attention, thoughts and energy into it.

People give up and move on too quickly. We’ve been conditioned out of staying with something long enough to master it. Online articles are filled with pop-ups and videos. All bright shiny objects to capture your attention, but they do harm. You lose your ability to focus.

If you can hold it in your head, you can one day hold it in your hand. The trick is holding it in your head. You must keep seeing it in your minds eye. You must stick with it. Concentrate on it and become passionate about it. You determine to make it happen. You do it!

The Sun’s Rays Don’t Burn Until Magnified And Brought To Focus

BUT you won’t if you keep changing what you pay attention to. If you can’t concentrate on something for a solid duration of time, you won’t stick with the pursuit and creation of your goals. People need, more than ever, to train their minds to stay put on their dream.

People want it fast and easy. They want it yesterday. The days of apprenticeship and mastery seem long gone, except for the few who know the value. Most of the promises made to us are for faster, better, easier, instant, take a pill and it will all be resolved. It won’t!

It get’s worse not better. Learn to focus on what you want. Understand, you need to stay with it, just as planting a seed takes time to flower, so do your abilities require time to mature. Seek mastery and you will continue on the path. You’ll make it happen.

Focus On One Thing At A Time – Let All Else Fall Away

Stop being flighty. Start being committed. Be passionate and steadfast. It doesn’t come to you. YOU make it happen. Stick with the principles and practices daily and you will prevail. Master the habits that support you. Master concentration. Master gratitude. Master persistence. Then you can be, do and have anything you want, within reason. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Name It And It Is So!

“It is a problem when you say it is. It is, it becomes, whatever you say it is! You define it. You declare it.  What you perceive it to be, it is. What you believe it to be, makes it so. Believing is seeing. It is your mental judgement that does this. Don’t miss this point.

In reality, it is whatever it is. It is an event or a circumstance. It is a person. From that you determine how you react to it. You determine problem or pleasure, friend or foe. It is all up to you and your habitual thinking. You react from your past conditioning. Get it?

I know you don’t believe this. You think it isn’t whatever you call it. That it’s independent of you, It is a problem or a foe. That is  because you are, you have been,  conditioned to believe there are problems outside of you. Whatever it is, IS. Without judgement, it simply is!

Mind Set Matters – Perception Is Everything

Your judgement makes it so. If you decide it is awful, it will be. If you decide it is only an annoyance, it will be that. It will be whatever you declare it to be. Perception is everything. There is ONLY your perception. This is why you must become more aware. Get it?

YOU make it so! You lock it in. It could be anything but your definition of it determines how you react to it. It is all old mental habits. You grew up this way. You can be different. IT can be different but you must take charge or your thinking processes.

This is why you must always only speak to bless, heal and prosper. When you do, you can begin to create what you want instead. Take the energy away from what you do not want. Energy flows where your attention goes. If you call it horrible, it will be. Get it?

It Actually Is – What We Believe We End Up Seeing

I am not suggesting you ignore anything. I am suggesting, how you define things IS how you live through things. If your worst nightmare is a lesson, a fall from which you arise, then it is no big deal. If you redefined it as an opportunity, you’d feel differently. Understand?

You’d handle things differently than if it is your worst nightmare. If you decide it is something you can and will resolve, even if you don’t know how yet, and you believe it will work out for the best, then you are far more resrourceful and less stressed. Then, it can work out!

Stop living from previous, past conditioning and learn to live in this moment. Learn to live free from limitations and cumbersome beliefs that hold you back and keep you stuck. You can rise above any problem. YOU are bigger than any difficulty when you believe you are. MIndset matters. You can make a difference. Live triumphantly!

Your Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes – Focus Matters

You can always find a way to triumph. It is up to you and in your hands. You can always find the silver lining. You can dig for the gold. Discover the blessing in all. Then you live differently. You live in joy and delight because everything works together for good. Somehow it all works out. When you believe this you can celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Why Winners Win

“Occasionally someone lucks into it, or wins by chance or default. Most winners win in their personal or professional lives do so because they go after what they want relentlessly, until they do succeed. They don’t let thoughts, feelings or hardship stop them.

They pursue health, wealth and well being because it is the most important thing to them. They don’t let circumstances dictate or prevent them from prevailing. ‘When the going gets tough the tough get going’. You must stick with it no matter how impossible it seems.

Whatever hardship comes your way learn to overcome it. Go through it. You will find a way if you are determined to find a way. Manage you mind and you emotions. Manage your time and your efforts. You will do it, when you believe you can.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

As Napoleon Hill stated, ‘If you can conceive it and believe it you can achieve it’. Just don’t stop. If it is truly worth it and it makes your life better and the lives of those around you better and it does not harm anyone of prevent others from fulfilling themselves, go for it.

Get on course. Stay the course. Find out how to make the journey most delightful. Whether you get closer by leaps and bounds or inch by inch you are getting closer. Stay positive and stay focused. It is completely UP TO YOU! So do it! Just do it! Condition yourself!

What can you do today to keep yourself on track? What will you do to keep yourself inspired and motivated? What will you do to keep going if the going gets tough? These are great questions to answer. Create a system of success for yourself. Get a buddy. Take a course.

Invest In Yourself – Condition Yourself – Make Yourself A Winner

Do those things daily that move you closer to your goals. Live it, breath it, dream it! Work hard and keep it fun. Keep it new and exciting. Stay enthused. How much fun can you stand as you continue to pursue your dream? Hmmmm, I wonder…  Now, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Discover Your Power To Decide

“Part 6. Guess what? Every moment I learned, I could choose. Sometimes, things came up that would have previously caused me to feel bad and I chose not to. Some things came up and I found myself feeling bad and thinking less than glorious thoughts.

However, when I realized what I was doing, I’d steer my thinking and feeling back to finding the good. I’d choose to begin celebrating and appreciating and being positive. Every second is a choice point anyway. Most of us just live as if we haven’t any choice. We’re stuck.

For me, it became a daily duty. It is a matter of becoming more aware, more conscious, and deciding that you deserve the best of everything. You deserve to think the best thoughts and have the best feelings and get the best results. It is all your choice! Get it?

Skill Comes Of Doing – The More We Do The More We Can Do

I found it got easier and easier. The more we do the more capable we become. It’s a conditioning process. Lifting 25 pounds may, at first, be difficult, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes. You build strength and you build habit. You create momentum too!

There were longer periods of time when I felt wonderful. The down times got shorter. I got better at recognizing when I was wallowing or serving myself well. I noticed feelings of joy and happiness and awe I’d not experienced before. Life became better and better!

I decided to treat myself as God would have me be treated. Okay, I know some will bristle here, because of whatever beliefs you may have, but I decided if there is a God, and God wants the best for me, why shouldn’t I want the same for myself. Do you get this point?

If You Really Want To Do Something You Will Find A Way

I deserve to have all the wonderful things. Attitude is everything. Attitude determines your altitude. Mindset and perception is all the is! I utilize frames of mind that make life easier, even more wonderful, while many are stuck trapped with bad frames of mind.

I discovered that the wonderful things don’t come from having more things. It comes from being more wonderful. It comes from having less stress, depression, anxiety, anger, frustration. It comes from taking the bull by the horns and deciding to do something for myself.

Living well comes from doing what is needed to live well. Then keep on doing it no matter what. I decided I would  never ever quit, nor give up. If I had to boot strap it I would. If the going got tough if I had to be tough. I would get going. I’d be positive and do what it takes.

If You Don’t Want To Do Something You’ll Find An Excuse

I decided that the end result was worth the price, whatever that price was, I had to pay. AND it is! I am getting so much more back than I pay for. It is incredible! You can too. It is up to you and no one else. No one can live or choose for you. You must decide. I hope you choose to love yourself, life and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Are You Planning To Fail?

“Ben Franklin said’ If you fail to plan you are planning to fail.’ You may have a big dream or goal, you may have just set an intention and you don’t know what your next step is. You don’t know how you will accomplish what you desire. Make a plan. Plan your success today!

It really doesn’t matter that you don’t know how. How will come along the way. Thomas Edison didn’t know how to make a light bulb work until he made one. Until then, he kept experimenting and adjusting. Once he got it right, he knew what to do. So will you.

Napoleon Hill has said your plan will change many times along the way. When traveling you may encounter roadblocks and detours. You adjust to those, but you keep heading in your desired direction. So create a plan. Know that it will change. Consider it a first draft.

You Can’t Manage Time But You Can Manage Your Priorities

You can’t hit a target if you don’t have one. You wouldn’t even know where to aim. So plan to make your big dream come true. Focus on the first step. Perhaps, you want to sell 100K, 500K a million a year, plan how you will do that. What will you do today, tomorrow?

What will you do next week? Plan next month and each month. Take baby steps. Single steps. Determine to speak to one extra customer a week. Make it easy to win. That is 52 new contacts in a year. Plan to speak with a couple a week, or every day speak to one new person.

Just keep it simple enough that you do it consistently. That way you win. You keep your commitment to yourself and you move forward. Don’t concern yourself whether they buy or not. As you get better you will connect with the right people. Just make contact. Tell them.

Drop By Drop The Tub Fills – Step By Step You Get There

If they don’t hear it from you they can’t buy it from you. If you spoke with one new person each business day that is 260 new contacts a year. If only a couple bought you’d still be better off than if you do nothing. Get it? Plan to succeed. Work your plan and you will.

Why You Can’t Handle The Truth

“Why people, why you, can’t handle the truth is that you have been conditioned your entire life, right from the start, to put the blame and the cause for your circumstances outside yourself. You blame others, god, the weather, luck or bad luck, the economy, the government, your kids, life partner, boss, friends and strangers.

Your parents, teachers, friends, media of all kinds, news, music, books, magazines have told you to. You have always done it so it is  a reliable neural habit. You look for people or things to blame when things go wrong. True, sometimes you blame yourself.

However, you don’t put yourself as the cause. You don’t put yourself in the driver’s seat. You don’t take control so you aren’t running the show, even though you actually are. You’re getting what you don’t want because you haven’t been intentional or deliberate about it.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

You may think you are but you have developed habits of putting the power and authority for your life outside of yourself. You have shifted it from where it belongs to places that are meaningless. Once you claim your true power, things begin to change for the better.

When you accept 100% responsibility for everything, even if it isn’t true, you’ve the mindset of someone who can be victorious over their difficulties and limitations. Be a champion and win. Stop letting obstacles and blames and excuses run you. Instead, you run them!

If you want to create your best life ever you must decide to be in charge and then actually assume control! Oh, the powers that be, your family and everyone else will say you are crazy but you must learn to manage your thoughts and feelings and take right actions.

You Are Today Where Your Thoughts Brought You

Let them go wild. Better yet, don’t even tell them. Silently put yourself in the position of power. Claim it back. Yes, it is easier to say and only takes a moment to decide but you can do it. You can accept responsibility, your power and begin to master it. You just do it!

It takes time to master the new way  because you’ve habitually operated the other way since birth. You have been conditioned, but you can override and change that conditioning to be more productive. You have already been creating. Now do it on purpose!

Let go of the old way. Let go of what others, and the powers that be, think. Start creating your best life. If it is to be, it is up to you to make it happen. Look for the good inside the not so good. Activate your attitude and feel blessed by all circumstances. I mean it. Do it!

You Will Be Tomorrow Where Your Thoughts Take You

When you can consider all circumstances a blessing you are free. When you can find the good in anyone and everyone you are free. So practice. Make it a habit looking and finding the best. Shift from the negative to the positive. Be thankful. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Why You Should Use Affirmations

“We use affirmations to fill our mind with the thoughts we want to think on an automatic and habitual basis. We condition the mind with affirmations so we get back from our mind what we put into it, whenever we need to. Automatically and reliably! It is habit.

We make positive statements so when the going gets tough we get the benefits of our positive thinking. Just as you harvest the fruits of the seeds you planted earlier. Saying affirmations is the planting of seeds. The results you get in life are the results of your sowing.

The bottom line is you want to create positive thought habits because many of the thought habits you acquired during the growing process were not positive but limiting. Years of less than optimal programming filled the mind. Affirmations replace that!

I Believe In Myself And My Abilities – I Have Unlimited Potential

Affirmations are the new programming and the new programming instructions for how you choose to now live your life. You decide. you affirm it , you make it happen. Affirmations are the gas in your vehicle. They provide the necessary mental rocket fuel to take off.

What most people don’t understand correctly, is we already use affirmations to great effect to get exactly what we don’t want. Consider worry as negative planning. How we think and speak on a routine basis creates our experience. We live from our thoughts.

More about this in the next blog. For now. Practice affirmations daily. Put them to work for you as suggested in the last blog. Focus on things you are grateful for and create a daily list. Affirm your gratitude list everyday, too. Out loud, when alone works wonders! Enjoy, delight and celebrate everything!”Rex Sikes
