‘How Come I’m So Stupid?’ Ever Thought That?

Would you like to learn to manage your thoughts and feelings, or would you rather ask “how come I am so stupid?” Who would ask that and why? Yet, people do all the time. They ask themselves terrible questions which don’t make them feel very good.

Your brain doesn’t care what you ask it. It doesn’t judge. It doesn’t even know how to judge or make discriminations. It just does what it is told. Well, actually, it just REALLY does what it has been conditioned to do. Yup, conditioning is automatic and reliable.

That is why we think, feel and do things we don’t want to. That is why we feel stupid, unloved, and worthless. That is why we procrastinate or ‘sabotage’ our efforts. We don’t really sabotage we just do what we were programmed to do, until we change it, that is.

Your Attitude Determines Your Altitude 

And change it you must, if you want it get ahead. If you want to be happier, healthier, wealthier and wiser, even sexier and a whole lot more fun, then you must change your mental conditioning. You must re-program or re-condition yourself. You have to learn new habits.

While learning to take control of your thinking, practice gratitude. Fill your mind and being with thankfulness. It is one of the quickest and easiest ways to make permanent, positive, changes. What The Question ‘What Do You Want?’ Does For You

Asking what do you want clarifies your thinking. It re-focuses you. It puts your attention on what you want and what you want to include. It takes your energy from what you don’t want and wish to exclude and re-focuses it. Get it? It shifts you from powerless to powerful.

It helps put you back in the driver’s seat and in charge of your own life. You can use it whenever you have a limiting thought, feeling or behavior. You can use it regarding events, circumstances and others. Let’s say the bank refuses your loan. Ask ‘What do I want?’

Of course you want the loan, but why? What are you attempting to accomplish? What is the larger goal? What are you wanting to feel? There may be other ways of legitimately getting the outcome or the money, without the loan or going through the bank. Understand?

Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes – Focus And Flow

It allows you to have a next step. You don’t have to know how it works out, but by asking ‘what do I want’ you focus your attention and energy on what is truly important. From there you may get other insights and ideas, flashes of intuition, if you listen.

When arguing with a loved one, remember to ask, ‘is this what I want? WHAT do I want?’ You can decide, ‘No. I want to get along. I want both of us to feel loved. I want to communicate with each other better. What do I want? I want to get along!’ That can change you!

When you go back to what you want and what is important to you, it focuses the energy on THAT instead of the argument. Get it? You refocus. You determine what is important to you and you seek to make that happen for both parties. YOU change the situation.

You Get What You Focus On – What You Focus On Expands

You shift things by making your internal adjustments. You don’t blame, whine, accuse, excuse yourself or the other, instead look for the positive, good you can focus on, that changes you and helps improve the situation for both of you. Get it? You shift and change it.

It gives you the means to get out of being stuck in non-productive, even repetitive, mental and behavioral loops. If you keep doing the same thing, hoping for different results, that IS the definition of insanity. If you want change, you must make changes. Get it?

It is up to you. Re-focus your energy. What do you want? Clarify and determine what is positive and supportive that will help you get what you want. What is it that is good for you and for others? Focus on making these changes along the way. Are you getting this?

Your Mind Is Powerful – Fill It With Positivity – And You’ll Change

Most likely, you will need to ask it, or do it, more than once. Trust me! You will. You can ask moment to moment. Every time you engage in a new behavior you can ask. When driving to work, how do you want it to go? You could think, ‘I want a safe, enjoyable drive’.

Listen to your answers. What do you want from your meal? ‘I want my body, mind and spirit to easily process this wonderful meal and fill me up nutritionally’. Or. ‘I want to maintain my ideal weight’ so you adjust what you eat and how much. Get it? Use the question.

Use it to guide you moment to moment. In any situation alone, or with others you can ask. Clarify, then move forward, once you have. This question, and the others I gave you, can be a real game changer when you routinely apply them to your life. So don’t stay the same.

Direct Your Mind Where You Want To Travel – It Will Take You

Especially, if you don’t want to. If you want to grow and evolve and make positive changes, using these questions can move you ahead more easily and quickly. So too, can practicing gratitude and understanding that each of life’s many moments are blessings. So celebrate everything!: Rex Sikes

What Do You Want?

“Are you thinking and feeling and acting positive, or not? It’s important to consider. You want to be. Here is the next crucial question you ask, to move you closer to getting what you want. ‘What do I want?’ You can ask this moment to moment.

‘Is this what I want?’ You ask this repeatedly. Whatever happens, whatever results you get, whatever thoughts, feelings and actions you make, question yourself and ask, ‘Is this what I want?’ or ‘what do I want?’ Clarify what you want by asking ‘what do I want?’

Get it? Make certain you are moving in a positive direction. Each moment you can ask, ‘is this what I want?’ If it isn’t, ask, ‘what DO I want?’ Use it to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Direct yourself continuously to the positive good you DO want. Get it?

Direct Your Mind Positively – Ask Questions To Clarify Your Wants

If you aren’t getting what you want, stop. Stop spending your time re-creating what you don’t want. Change it! Move in the direction of getting what you do want. If you think, ‘I can’t do this’ is that what you want to think? NO! Think instead, ‘I can learn to do this.’

Get it? ‘I can look for someone who can assist me in learning how to do this. I can learn to make it happen alone or with coaching. I can begin to do this. I can begin to move forward and make it happen.’ Affirm and visualize what you want to happen. Direct YOUR mind!

This question is important. It is so powerful! It stops you. If you aren’t getting what you want, why would you ever continue? Right? It illuminates the chronic, conditioned, habitual thoughts, feelings and behaviors so you can become aware and change. It illuminates!

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

It brings attention to your answers, which are your thoughts, beliefs and limiting beliefs. Whenever you discover you are limiting yourself, excusing, blaming, or whining, too, you can stop. Then begin to change them. If you don’t want that belief, what one do you want?

Get it? Are you with me? Is it making sense? Watch this!  You must ask it frequently. ‘Am I getting what I want? What do I want?’ I am providing some variations, but the point remains the same. Stop doing what you don’t want. Change it to what you want! GET IT?

Develop the habit of being your own best, positive, supportive friend who helps you move towards your goals and dreams. Realize at  any moment you, and your behaviors, thoughts and feelings are either positive, supportive and moving you closer to your goals OR not!

We’re Living And Growing Or Withering And Dying – Choose

Get it?  I really hope you will. I am driving home an important point. You determine the success and happiness you will experience by how you think about things AND the questions you ask yourself. You always have been, even if you didn’t know or assume responsibility.

You have been creating everything all along by what you think and do. Time to take charge and decide how you want things to be, instead of haphazardly creating things, as you have in the past. Sometimes you got good results. Sometimes you got unwanted ones.

Now you can direct your thinking and feeling and actions to ensure you create AND attract only that which you DO want. GET IT? I hope so. ‘What am I grateful for?’  is another excellent question! Ask it a lot. Emphasize gratitude and feeling blessed. Direct your mind. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Success And Happiness Is Determined By How You Think!

“In recent blogs, I taught and I encouraged you to ask, ‘does this support me? Is this supportive or non-supportive?’ A very important consideration. Something either supports and uplifts you, or it does not. I snuck in another question, too. Perhaps, you noticed it.

If something is not supportive, ‘what can I change; what thought, feeling or behavior?’ If you discover your thoughts aren’t supporting you, then you should, you must change them, to supportive ones that help get you the results you want. Awareness, then shifting, is key!

If you do something that makes you feel bad, you want to change it to something that makes you feel good. Realize, you should have a conscience too. You ought to do what is best for you and everyone involved. I am never suggesting you do anything to harm anyone.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

That includes you and others. Be sensitive and be good to all. Another consideration, prior to getting into the next question I share, is this question? Is it positive or negative? If something is negative and doesn’t support you, change it? Focus on the positive.

You get what you focus on. You want a better life? You don’t get one by focusing on negativity, what is wrong or lacking. You make your life better by focusing on those positive thoughts, feelings and actions you can take, to get you positive and better results. Get it?

The point of these questions I am sharing, is to bring your awareness to the moment. Is what is going positive or negative? Does it support you or not? What change can you make to your thinking, feeling or behaving that will shift it from negative to positive and supportive?

Change Your Mindset And You Change Your Life – Be Positive

You Must Stop First Before You Move On!

What can you ask yourself that makes an incredible difference and sets you in the right direction to create, and attract, your goals and dreams? I  provided two answers in my recent blog. Now I’ll share with you some more powerful suggestions to utilize daily.

Questions direct the mind. In order for them to direct your mind in a positive way YOU actually have to STOP and then ask the question. Do this whenever you notice yourself thinking, feeling or behaving in less than positive, glorious, good ways. Stop and ask.

It isn’t about getting an answer. Forget about seeking the answer. It’s ALL about asking the right question. It’s all about directing your mind. It’s all about becoming aware of whether you’re moving closer or farther away from what you want, while taking right action.

Change Your Mindset And You Change Your Life

You have to stop asking negative questions. Stop asking, ‘why things don’t work out?’ Stop asking ‘why you can never get ahead, or are broke, or unlucky in life and love’! Stop asking questions that cause you to feel worse. Do you get it? You really need to shift mindset.

Ask ones that cause you to become positive, powerful and change! I gave you two last time. Use them. I’ll share one or two more. For now, ask the positive questions that direct your mind in powerful and positive ways. Spiral up into positivity, not down into negativity!

Not everything is positive or supportive. We react to ‘hot buttons and triggers. We’re conditioned; habitual. The only way you break free and transform yourself is to become aware. You have to notice when you are caught up and acting from old, chronic programs.

You Won’t Change And Make Progress Without Making Decisions

You must stop. Take a break, a pause, a breath and then start the new program. Think of driving your car, When you realize you are moving in the wrong direction, you stop, and turn around. Get it? You discontinue traveling in the old way. You stop, and shift or turn.

You begin moving in the direction you want to be traveling in. Same thing with training your mind to work for you instead of against you. You must become aware. Awareness is the  doorway to change. You must BECOME AWARE, notice what isn’t working, and change it.

Change it to something that works better. Think, feel, and act better by asking yourself the questions I have been sharing with you. You stop and DECIDE to be, do and have things differently, YOU make A decision and follow through with it! That is how you TRANSFORM!

What Powerful Question Can You Ask That Could Change Everything?

“What mindset or questions can you use each day, each moment, to guide you to making the right decisions? What can you ask to, move you forward and, get you closer to making what you want, happen? What is the positive mindset you need, that can best work for you?

Obviously, it will all be individual and tailored for you. However, questions direct your mind; they divide up the world into aspects of your experience you can choose to pay attention to. Using the questions I give you can make an incredible and massive difference!

Realize you can categorize, almost, anything as supportive or non-supportive. When you do this your world begins to change. ‘Does this support me? Does this serve me? Is it supportive or is this non-supportive?’  These are excellent questions to keep asking yourself.

The Remedy For Any Issue Is Learning To Ask The Right Question

Use your mind for a change! That is why you have a mind. So you can direct your efforts. Where you put your attention is where energy flows.  You want your energy flowing in productive and positive ways. Realize, that most everything you, and I, do are habits.

We are routine creatures. Research demonstrates this, so I won’t go into it again. I have in the past and in other blogs. Habits either support you in doing, and getting, what you want OR they do not. Asking whether something is supportive, or not, is a great habit!

Make it a habit. ‘Does this thought support me? Does this feeling support me? Does this behavior support me?’ If not, change it for one that is positive and does. Asking the question brings you to a choice point whereby you can make a decision. You stop being stuck.

Successful People Ask Better Questions And Get Better Results

It gives you an indication you may not be moving in the best direction. It can give you an indication that you are moving in the right direction. When do you ask it? Anytime, you feel less than glorious, are confused or engaged in a way you don’t want to be.

Get it? Start using it. You will make positive changes as you do. I’ll give you another powerful question to ask in the next blog. Meanwhile, ask and ask and ask. Get your internal guidance system working for you. Then, and this is important, be glad. FEEL glad!

Be grateful and appreciate all things. Appreciate the answers and insights. Follow the answer and the positive decisions you make. This helps you take charge and get over obstacles. If something doesn’t support positive change, what positive thought would?

How To Speak And Write More Powerfully And Persuasively

I posted this previously, some time ago. However, it is useful to know and apply so I post it again. Study it and use it. Go deeper and learn more and your effectiveness will grow and grow. When you learn how to direct your own mind you become its master. Enjoy! Enjoy!

The following article I wrote for Joe Vitale long before he appeared in The Secret. It is based on my work from the 1980’s onward. The article is formatted as it was for Joe’s site and includes date and copyright. Truly, learn from this and master it. Benefits are great!

You may notice many things from this article that are common place today. They weren’t so common place back in the 80’s 90’s and early 21st Century. Much of my work is now widely used in other’s books and programs all around the world. This pleases me to no end. I’m glad to be able to help! The work made its way near and far.

How Questions Can Make Your Writing More Hypnotic  Article by Rex Steven Sikes

Did you know there are actually three languages inside the English language? That’s right, at least three!

There is the language of pictures or how things appear, how we see or view them in our mind as well as out there in the real world.

Second, there is the language of sounds or what we say to ourselves and what we hear on the inside.

And third there is the language of feelings, like when something wonderful grabs hold of us and makes us feel warm and special inside.

Knowing the three languages and incorporating them into your hypnotic writing makes your appeals even more powerful. Words like “paint, picture, imagine, bright, dim, flash,” are visual words.

Words that convey sound or auditory information are words like “discuss, hear, harmony, tell, say to yourself”. And words that help us feel things are words like “warm, cold, shudder, feel, grasp, walk through, get a hold of, heart to heart”.

By spicing up your writing with these words you help others begin to imagine more clearly what you are saying because you appeal to at least three of our five senses. And that’s a tasty thing to do that will spice up your writing and make it more vivid to the people who are reading your work.

But that’s not all there is. There is something even more incredible, that directs the human mind to pay attention. Do you know what that is?

Not yet, but I have just given you some great examples. It is the power of questions. You see questions direct the mind. That is true whether you are asking a question of yourself or another person.

Perhaps you say “Yeah, who says?” See there, you just asked a question! And the incredible thing is that this is what our brains are designed to do: Ask and answer questions posed to it and find solutions and new behaviors.

Brains love questions! That’s what brains do all day log. They go in search of things they can do that make life more interesting. Your brains already know how to search for and find information. The key is learning how to use questions to direct your mind in powerful and positive ways.

The problem with most people is that they already use questions to get results they don’t want. They ask things like ‘Why do bad things always happen to me?’ or ‘How come I never do anything right?’ or ‘How come others always get ahead?’ or ‘Why am I so stupid?’

And guess what? Your brain knows exactly where to go in your personal history to find the answers. What your brain does is go on a search, and then comes back with things like ‘Well, it’s because you stuck your head in the toaster when you were four years old’, or ‘You didn’t have the right kind of teachers, or parents,’ or ‘Bad things always happen to good people’.

You see, it is automatic. Ask a question of the brain and it answers in a great variety of ways. In fact the brain keeps on working on the questions long after the answers start being delivered. You know how that is, don’t you? You certainly do if you ever experienced that critical voice that keeps ragging and nagging on you long into the night.

Would you like to find a way to end that? Would you like to be able to direct your mind in powerful, positive ways? Do you want to be more influential and positively persuasive in person—and in your writing?

The key to having more wonderful things happen within you is to help the brain help you by redirecting what it already does well. If instead of asking questions like the negative ones above, we learn to instead begin asking questions about how wonderful things are, then the brain has a positive direction to follow.

And by focusing our attention on what we want instead of what we don’t want our brains can help deliver the good things to us. There is a rule that states, ‘What you focus on you get.’ So if you are focused on negative questions and negative things, the brain goes “okay I can deliver that”.

The brain isn’t biased. Good or bad, it just does what it knows. So we need to grab hold of it and utilize it to our advantage by redirecting it and then letting it run.

For example, you ask this instead: ‘I wonder how soon before I begin to realize how talented I am?’ or ‘I wonder how quickly I can realize how fortunate I am?’ or ‘How delighted will I be to discover my powers of persuasion increasing rapidly?’

You see, when you direct your mind to what you want, your brain says, ‘I don’t know the answer but I’ll go and find out.’ And that is the key! You ask a question which sends your brain in the direction of what is positive that you want to have, but to which you don’t know the answer yet.

If you are familiar at all with powerful hypnotic languaging, you will already notice the kinds of useful hypnotic language patterns I use in these questions. If not, well then be happy there is more for you to learn which will help improve what you do.

The incredible thing is your brain already knows exactly what to do. For example, if I ask you “Where did you get the shirt you are wearing as you read this?” Your brain probably knows what store, when, where, or that it was a gift. It won’t answer me by telling me you were abducted by aliens when you were a teenager or some other kind of frivolous answer.

It knows how to go after the class of information you present it with. And realize that I directed your mind with a question to the kind of information I was after. If others were listening to us as we spoke, their minds would be directed to where you got your shirt, as well. This is powerful to know although it may seem obvious.

So the key for your own personal improvement is asking yourself questions which lead your mind in useful directions. If you want positive results, you ask something like ‘How soon can I begin to discover the wonderful results I am already getting? And as I begin to notice those how many more can I discover that delight and amaze me?’ You would do the same if you were talking to, or writing to, another person.

Now let’s say you are selling another person a pen. And you ask, ‘Want to buy my pen?’ The person obviously can answer with ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Because the question you asked didn’t lead to further exploration. It lead only to a single “I want it” or “I don’t.”

But notice if you ask ‘Do you know how delighted you will be when you buy my pen?’ You aren’t directly asking them to buy it. (Well, in fact you are using another hypnotic pattern known as embedded commands). You are focusing them on something they can’t yet know the answer to: And that is the amount of delight they may experience.

I call this Mental Aikido. You side-step the issue of buying by focusing them on a positive attribute of owning the pen: the delight. So they can say ‘no, I don’t know how delighted I will be,’ in which case you have a door open to go ahead and demonstrate it for them.

Or they say ‘Yes I know how delighted I will be,’ and then they go to buy it. Or they give you further information that would be necessary for you to know to go ahead and make the sale. Any which way you cut it, you now have a powerful tool in your hands to help you influence and sell. Follow?

You can influence others by directing your own brain! In fact, when you learn how to direct your own brain and use its already existing features in a user friendly way, you will enjoy more influence, power and happiness in your life. That’s because you turn your brain into a powerful ally. And you certainly would want to do that, don’t you?

While this method ofDirected Questions™ is something I teach for incredible personal power and life enhancement, I thought you might be interested in a strategy for being able to get your readers to really respond to your hypnotic writing. So here is something else you can use to really add to your hypnotic writing abilities:

These next questions are ones to ask yourself to help you become more creative and begin to be able to paint word pictures for others, so they can readily see what it is you are talking about, so that they more readily feel like going ahead with what you propose.

The brain and eyes are wired together. This means that when we move our eyes we access certain portions of our brain. When we look up we mostly access the visual portions of the brain. When we look laterally side to side or down left we mostly access the auditory portions of our brain.

When we look down to the right we mostly access the kinesthetic or feeling portions of our brain. We actually access more than just these areas but we access these areas in greater portions when we move our eyes in this manner. Hence, we can learn to move our eyes systematically to gain greater access to the wonderful information stored in our brain.

Step 1. Look up (don’t move your head, just your eyes) and say ‘What do I want to show my readers?’ ‘What is it I want them to see clearly and how can I best get them to picture that in their mind?’ Spend a few seconds entertaining that question while looking up, entertaining how you can help your reader picture in their mind what it is you want them to see.

Step 2. Now move your eyes down to the left and ask ‘What is it I want them to say to themselves as they read it?’ and ‘How best can I tell them what it is I what them to really pay attention to?’ Again spend a few seconds in your own mind entertaining how you can best help your readers say those things to themselves that you would want them to say as they read your writing.

Step 3. Now move your eyes down right and ask ‘What is it I want them to feel as the read my writing?’ and ‘How best can I get them to have these feelings?’ And spend a few moments getting a grasp of what you want them to feel as they progress through your written material.

Once you have asked those questions, now take a short break and do something else for a little while. Let your unconscious mind work on it. I used to go watch TV and get caught up in a show. But soon I would find the wheels start churning, and I would hop over to the typewriter (in those days) and begin writing. Things began to flow.

If ever I got stuck, I simply asked the questions again and took another break. Later I would go back and edit and re-write the paper to polish it. But this unlocked the creative juices in a very particular and powerful way.

You ask yourself how you can show them in your writing, tell them and get them to feel in your writing. You can additionally ask ‘What is it I really need to say to get them to buy? What do they really need to know? How can I best word my letter to really get my points across? How soon can I find the words and ideas flowing through me in a way that amazes and delights me?’

Or ask any variation of those questions that leads you to the results you want. Then take a break and let your unconscious mind go to work. But remember to come back to the project after your unconscious has had a little time to work on it for you. Often I found that once, maybe two or three times, were necessary to get it the way I really wanted it.

Remember you want your reader to be able to picture themselves using your product. You want them to imagine what it would be like to have it or to miss out on it. You want to paint vivid detail in the mind’s eye of your reader to help them to have the feelings of wanting, desire, or need for your product. Or to feel that’s enough to stop whatever they are currently doing and follow through on what your proposal is.

You want them to say ‘yes’ inside their head and hear positive sounds and voices as they read through your letter. Yeah this is great, this makes sense, wow I can do this yes. And you want them to have the feelings of desire, certainty and taking action.

You really want to take them by the hand and walk them through this process. Combine this with your other hypnotic writing skills and you become a real powerhouse.

So remember to ask the questions which direct your mind to what you want your reader to see, hear and feel. Direct your reader to what you want to be able to show them, tell them and help make them feel. You do this by using questions to direct your mind to what you need to pay attention to first in order to influence some body else.

By previewing in your mind what you need them to see, hear and say, and feel to themselves, you can begin to paint pictures with your words that will get them excited about your product or service in a way that makes them feel they have to have it.

And this truly is hypnotic, isn’t it?

Life Isn’t Difficult Or Complicated When You Do This

“Have you ever feel life is complicated?  Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed? Do you get discouraged from time to time? If you answer yes, there is something you can do to free yourself from these feelings and move ahead the way you want more easily.

Remember this. Keep it in mind. Focus on it. Practice it moment to moment. You get what you focus on. Taking charge of life first begins by taking charge of your mind. To be successful and happy in life you need to control your thinking and gain the upper hand. You can do it!

It is not complicated. It is not always easy but it is absolutely doable. When you become aware of feeling other than you want examine your thinking. If it is negative shift your thoughts from what you are thinking about to something more positive. Feelings are a sign.

Don’t Limit Yourself – You Can Go As Far As You Think You Can

They let you know when you thinking isn’t useful for you. When you thinking sucks you feel it. Celebrate that you have such a wonderful alarm system. It gets your attention with yucky feelings so you can change them. Sadly, most people have learned to wallow in them.

You don’t have to. That is not what they are intended for. Acknowledge, accept and change them. Steer them to what you prefer instead. Bit by bit. Gradually, if you practice it and do it, you will learn the knack. It will get easier and easier. Just stick with it.

The best way to do this is to practice the positive thoughts in advance when you don’t need them. They will be very effective during practice and then later when you do need them. In doing this you build your habit for thinking positively and powerfully.

Good Things Come To Those Who Act And Make Them Happen

Your habits determine results. It begins with your thoughts, which produce feelings, which in turn produce or further the thoughts you think. If positive, and you feel good, you will have more positive thoughts. If negative, you feel bad and, more negativity results.

Your feelings determine your actions. Your actions determine the results you want. If you want great rewarding results begin with positive and powerful thinking. Get it? Practice positive thoughts, called affirmations, when you don’t need them. Plus, when you do.

Practice asking yourself Directed Questions™, positive questions so worded to direct your thinking easily and effortlessly to what you want, and visualizing positive results. Morning and night and anytime you have a free moment take the time and re-affirm.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

It will work wonders. If you do this daily soon it will become a practical habit that will help you increase your joy in life and accomplish what you want to accomplish. Remember, you always get what you focus on. You become what you think about most.

If your thoughts most of the time are positive, happy, productive thoughts that is what you get in return. Why? Because you produce it. You make it happen. Your thoughts lead to your feelings which lead to your actions and then the results you get. You evolved you!

Keep this in mind. Life IS simple. You create your experience by your own thinking and feeling patterns. What you believe about yourself and the world is what becomes true for you. Choose the best thoughts and practices and you can make your life marvelous. Do it! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

“In the last blog you learned the key to personal change is to get take control of your thinking. Steer it to the positive and you will feel better. As you feel better you will become more productive and get better results. That is it in a nutshell. Create it inside then outside.

Become positive, imagine it is possible in your mind first, and then create it. You make it happen. It all begins with the thought and then you bring it about. If you don’t fully believe it you keep affirming it and visualizing it until you do. That is the process of autosuggestion.

That is how it works. For some readers they may not be ready yet to embrace the notion, If you are ready congratulations because then you can make your experience more to your liking. If not, well, you will find out one day when, perhaps, you do become ready.

You Can Learn Something New And Useful And Good Everyday

There are many accelerated learning approaches. There are numerous whole brain learning activities and exercises. I incorporated these into my training program so participants could learn well, thoroughly and completely, while enjoying the process.

They still could be challenged and stimulated to grow and could do so in a friendly, fear free, stress-free environment. The learner mindset and values validated and appealed to. At the same time the learner was encouraged to try on new ways to absorb material.

The learner could evolve and enjoy. From time to time I share some of these approaches here. I have them in my programs and upcoming books but one of the most useful mindsets to adopt is ‘I can learn to do anything easily and well’. I can mentality makes a huge difference.

Kids Learn More Through Play And Modeling Than By Instruction

You may not believe it at first but if you follow what I suggest, AND what others have suggested since time immemorial, you will come to believe it the more you repeat it to yourself enthusiastically with great emotion. The more positively charged the quicker you get it.

Go back and read through my blogs. Read Napoleon Hill, Wallace Wattles, Ernest Holmes and other great thought leaders. You can accomplish so much more when you take charge of your thinking.

Change your thinking and you change your world. You can get better results. Use affirmations, use my Directed Questions™, read and listen to inspirational material, sing, dance, play, have fun, hang out with powerfully positive people. All of this will have a great effect.

Things You Take For Granted Other People Are Praying For

Practice gratitude! Probably the fastest, most enjoyable, life altering practice you can engage in is finding things to appreciate and feeling blessed. The more you look the more you find. The more you find the more you will find and the better you will feel. It is amazingly simple.

When everything becomes a true blessing the pain ceases. You become freer than you can imagine. The struggles cease. It isn’t that the environment or causes magically change it is that YOU change. When you change everything changes. YOU make the difference.

Your attitude, mindset, make all the difference. When you realize this then the ‘no pain no gain’ approach can end. You can learn and grow more rapidly through gratitude and celebration. You can have fun, delight, be surprised and enjoy. So do it. Discover it for your self. You will as you begin to celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

No Pain No Gain Is BS! Stop The Insanity

“Have you ever felt that sometimes you needed to be hit over the head with a lesson before you learned it? Have you struggled to learn, grow or change? Has making changes been frustrating, difficult or painful? Would you like it to be easier?

Mindset makes a difference. Attitude is everything. Many of us have grown up with the notion ‘no pain, no gain’. While the spirit behind this notion is admirable, and while it does pace a certain reality, it doesn’t have to always be this way. In fact, this way could be rare.

Instead, for many of us, we grew up struggling. Sometimes as we did we were told without pain there is no gain. We internalized the notion. We adopted that mindset. We grew to think it was true most of the time or that was the way of the world. It need not be.

Play Is The Highest Form Of Research – Always Keep On Playing

It can be otherwise. Learning, growing, and changing can be easy, fun and exciting. It needn’t be a struggle. It is time we learned and embraced this. Some lessons may come hard or at a price but for the most part we can learn to enjoy transformation and have it pain free.

If we brought up our children with this mindset and provided rich, varied learning situations and experiences they would learn quicker, easier, with few problems and issues. This requires our educators and administrators to be flexible and keep the child in mind first.

It doesn’t happen that way for many reasons although through the years there have been successful programs. Learning can be fun! For our purposes here, it is important that the learner adopt the mindset that learning and  life can be a blessing and a joy. Thought matters.

Once You Stop Learning You Start Dying – Stay Open And Enjoy

Get hold of your thinking and take control. Steer it to the positive and you will feel better. As you feel better you will become more productive and get better results. That is it in a nutshell. Become positive, decide what is in your mind first and then create it.

Next blog, I’ll share more on how you can transform how you learn and change. For now, go back and read through articles on managing your thoughts, attitude and emotions. Practice the exercises you learn here on doing affirmations or Directed Questions™.

Implement these and you will discover yourself evolving in new positive ways. You will be in charge. For some readers it will be the first time in their lives they have taken charge of their lives. This is a big thing! Congratulations to you when you decide to be in charge.
