How To Stop Getting Crappy Results!

“Our outer world reality is determined by our inner reality. The results we get are products of the thoughts we think. At one time the chair did not exist. Someone conceived of it, thought it up, and made one. From idea to tangible item. That’s how it works.

Some suggest the outer world accurately reflects the inner. If the outer is peaceful and harmonious the inner is as well. If the outer world is in chaos and discord so is the inner reality. As within so without. This is an important concept to grasp and consider.

If our thoughts, our beliefs (thoughts we repeatedly think over and over) create our reality then it behoves us to think the very best thoughts in order to create the very best reality. It means we need to control our mind and master it or remain a victim to it. Get it?

Tell The Negativity Committee Inside You – Sit Down And Shut Up

Your mind learned to do what it does. It is habit. It is patterned. It is automatic. If you think negative thoughts, worry a lot, feel bad, you learned to be this way. It is chronic and it is habit you acquired while growing up. Since you learned it you CAN change it. You really can.

In order to do so you have to deliberately change it. You have to deliberately create new positive supportive thinking and feeling habits. Then the results you get will be a reflection of those new positive changes. Your outer world changes because your inner did.

Adopt the best possible beliefs. Affirm these. Declare them. Repeatedly expose yourself to these new thoughts. That is how you learned the old ones in the first place. Repetition and strong emotion. Use the same to create new positive thought habits.

Worry Is Misuse Of Your Imagination And Is Negative Planning

As a potential place to begin realize that enormous wealth and power are available to you right this moment. Abundance is yours! You don’t believe it? Of course not. You won’t if you listen to your old negative conditioning. Your old beliefs will make you think nonsense.

The old, which is only doing what it learned to do, is protecting you from changing. It isn’t trying to harm you, it is just keeping you consistent. That’s what it is designed to do. Keep you the same even if it hurts. Still, you can learn a new and better way. Think positive.

Think, ‘I deserve the best! I accept the best! I can learn to do anything I put my mind to. I accept abundance. I choose to think positive. Enormous wealth and power are available to me.’ Think it. Repeat it. Chant it eagerly, enthusiastically, excitedly, powerfully!

Don’t Ruin A Good Day By Thinking Bad Thoughts

Put some oompf behind it. Mean it. If you don’t at first keep chanting it until you do. Day in and day out. Make it your mantra. Make it your favorite song. Think it, feel it, be it! This is HOW you take control.

This is how you claim your mind back. You think and declare what you consciously decide to. You choose the thoughts you think and repeat them again and again with strong emotion. Words don’t mean much but emotions mean everything. Powerful emotions are critical.

Claim your mind back. Live from your strength not your weakness. Decide what you want to believe and make yourself believe it. The choice is yours? Would you rather believe you are powerful and fail at some things or believe you are helpless and fail at a lot.

What Consumes Your Mind Controls Your Life – Consider That

You determine the kind of life you live. How is it working for you so far? If you love it, wonderful. If it needs a little adjustment. Go for it. If you need a major overhaul, so be it. Take charge and take control. Claim it. Declare it. Make your word the law. Live your dreams.

Turn the within into something so incredible the outside delights you. Live from abundance. Live well because YOU DO deserve to. Find gratitude and be thankful you have this opportunity. It may seem slow at first but it accelerates. You will transform beyond your wildest dreams. Delight in all and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Overcome Difficulties

“Just because things are falling apart around you doesn’t mean you have to feel bad inside.

Just because everything is going to hell in a hand basket doesn’t mean you have to.

Just because everyone is jumping off a cliff doesn’t mean you should.

Just because there is a violent storm circling you doesn’t mean you have to be affected.

Be the eye of the hurricane instead.

Discover your inner peace. Go to your center. Breathe.  Live higher. Think higher. Act higher. Meditate. Reflect. Let go. Let the world do its thing around you. Stay steady. Focus on what you want. Remain positive. Determine to see it through. Persist. Be grateful.

Do it.

OR…

Don’t do it.

The choice is always yours.

How To Get What You Want For Yourself And Others

“Some people get the opposite of what they appear to want. They hope and wish but they aren’t creating or attracting their desires. I’ve talked with a few recently. When you talk with them it is easy to understand the issues. It is clear the adjustment they need to make.

We attract and make happen what we focus on most. What is it we focus on most? It is that which we think about most frequently. It is that which we think about with the most emotion attached to it. It’s what we feel the strongest about. It is what occupies our being.

For many people IT is what they desire. It is their MAJOR PURPOSE. They want to accomplish something big for themselves It is critical that they do. They want it so much they can taste it.They believe they can. They will absolutely make it happen. They know it!

Determine What You Want – Go For It Positively – Commit To It

It isn’t a matter of ‘if’ it is only a matter of when. When the world throws curve balls at them, they adjust, adapt and continue on. Nothing deters them. They are invincible. The pick up wins along the way. They are positive and optimistic in their pursuit. They get it!

Then there are the rest of the people. Many, who want things but fear the worst. They worry they won’t get what they want. They worry the world or others will somehow prevent them. They feel inadequate and doubt that it will ever happen. They hope, but…

They just don’t ever see it happening. They see calamity, they see trouble and they feel uneasy much of the time. They aren’t necessarily down and out but they think, feel and act as if they are. The think and feel mostly about what they don’t want. They worry.

Don’t Think About What’s Wrong – Think About What’s Right

If we are predominantly occupied with that which we fear,  look out. If it is what we want,enjoy.  Then there are the others. Those Napoleon Hill called ‘drifters’. I was one of these first, fearing second. Drifters are aimless. They don’t have goals. They drift.

One day they go one way. The next day they can go the other way. They are like a cork in the water they go where the current takes them. They aren’t ‘go with the flow’ people because they do want it better. They just don’t aim at anything. They do fear and worry.

They try things but they don’t stick with anything long enough to master it. They don’t focus on a target and make certain they hit it. They look at the target, lob some things at it, miss some, hit some, think ‘oh well’ and move to another target. Hence, they miss out.

Believe In Yourself – Commit To Being A Better Person Each Day

There are people who occupy themselves with getting what they want. There are those who occupy themselves with avoiding what they don’t want. Then there are those who just aren’t sure either way. There could be other descriptions but this is enough.

Time spent creating what we want instead of what we don’t want makes the most sense to me. If I want something then it is up to me to get it. That is how it works. Yes, some people are good at waiting on others to provide it. Some people were raised that way.

Some people have been beat down and don’t believe they deserve anything at all. Some people give up. We don’t need to judge others that isn’t what this is about. We need to evaluate ourself and decide what we will do about creating our life and our future. Ask yourself?

Train Your Mind To See The Good In Every Situation

What do I absolutely want and need? What do I absolutely don’t want? This second question actually helps clarify what you want. Once answered shift your focus to what you WANT and let go of what you don’t. Clarify it, then focus on it! That is how it works.

What kind of life do I want, for me, my kids, the rest of the world? How do I contribute to that and help make it happen? What can I do each moment that brings me great joy and fulfillment? How can I share that with others so they can too? There are many questions.

You might have others. Simply ask yourself what you want? Don’t bother with HOW! You may not know how yet. That is fine. You do not have to know how yet. YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT FIRST! Too many miss out trying to figure out how.

Think Positive And Positive Things Will Start To Happen

The how will come as you clarify the want. You will ultimately build a plan but you don’t need to wait. You go as far as you can see and when you get there you can see farther. Do you get that? Don’t put things off because you don’t know how. How is irrelevant!

Edison didn’t know how to make a light bulb work until he made one. Until he succeeded he was trying things, experimenting, but he did not know how to do it. The Wright Brothers did the same with flight. No one had flown before. No one knew how to. They did it by trying.

Focus on building something better, something wonderful for yourself. Stop worrying about the opposite. Stop the excuses as to why you can’t, or won’t. Stop blaming and complaining. Start deciding you can and you will. Commit to making it happen.

The Mind Is Everything – What You Think About You Become

After years of attracting the wrong people, events and situations into my life I decided to THINK DIFFERENTLY and create what I want instead of what I don’t. Funny thing is, it works.  We each come to it in our own time. We may have missed it many times previously.

When we are ready the teacher appears. That IS how it works. We wake up to new opportunity. We awaken to a new way of being. Until then we repeat the old conditioned ways. Once we awaken we work to develop new thought, feeling and behavior habits.

Make your dreams come true. Think ‘I can’! Think positive. Then consider this. Together, how can we build a better world? Think positive.  What CAN we begin to do?  We might not have all the answers yet, but we will find them as we apply ourselves.

Your Happiness In Life Depends On The Quality Of Your Thoughts

Think about possible positive outcomes. Find them and amplify them. Let’s make more good. Let’s let go of the bad. Let’s concentrate on what we want our future to be. Let’s get on the same positive, optimistic, powerful page. Then let’s work to bring it about.

You know the saying. ‘Don’t waste time tearing down the old. Spend your time wisely building the new.’ That is my preference. Get your life in order. Create the future you want and along the way help others. Together, we can build a better tomorrow. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Why You Should Never Make Decisions While Angry!

“There is a legitimate reason why one is told ‘breath’ when one is out of sorts. Breath! Take a deep breath. Slow down. Take a pause. When things are going south and one is getting upset remember to breath. It has a calming effect, it relaxes the body and the mind. Breath!

Breath and get centered. What is your center? Your center of gravity. For men, we tend to walk around as if it is high in the chest. It isn’t it is in the pelvis. Women more naturally rest in their center of gravity. This too helps the body and mind to settle. Return to center.

Breath, get centered, relax and let go. Forgive yourself, others, or the circumstances. Focus on something else. Literally, turn your attention away. It is easier to do once you create a pause, a break and get centered. Breath for as long as you need to to get calm.

Never Make Permanent Decisions On Temporary Feelings

There is an inner center as well. You can find it when you calm, let go and feel balanced. You can find your inner core. Your gut, the ‘hara’ from which your energy emanates. Your ‘Chi’ flows. Find your inner center. Find your place of energy and balance. Inside and outside.

When centered and calm you think clearer and act clearer. The mind settles and stops racing. You make better decisions. It is suggested one never decided anything, especially something important, when frustrated, heated, sad or angry. Not the time. Be positive and calm.

Nothing good comes from decisions made in haste; nor actions taken because one is hotheaded or angry. Settle down, cool down, find your center so you can think clearly, assess the situation and stay open to incoming information necessary to decide. Get it?

Each Moment Is A New Beginning Take A Deep Breath Begin Again

To remain open is critical. When we are frustrated or  raging we do not have the presence of mind to make good decisions. Therefore never make them while heated. Okay. Relax, let go, calm down, stay open, listen, gather information, assess it and then decide.

Take time to enjoy! Find something right now.  Find many things to celebrate and appreciate. Find reasons to delight and be glad. Have fun. Savor it. Take your time. Let your mind wander and discover how many different reasons you have to be thankful! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

It Is A Good Bet You Don’t Schedule This But You Should!

“You schedule doctor appointments, phone calls and meetings. You note down when you need to take the kids to their events. You schedule your mechanic appointments and oil changes for your car. The important things you probably put on your calendar.

How often do you schedule time to play?  Have you ever? I don’t mean your racquet ball, golf or tennis games. I mean time in which you playfully adventure, explore and discover. Free time to do nothing but let go, have fun and enjoy yourself. Smile more!

Play – Have Fun In Life – Really Enjoy It – You Are Never Too Old

This is time to skip and dance, smile and have fun. Take an hour or two just to feel good and delight. Spend time to  feel some fun feelings, some good time emotions. Laugh, let go, be a little kid. Pretend. This IS important time and perhaps you are lacking in it.

You schedule important things right? Isn’t it important to feel good, have fun and be happy? Isn’t it good to relax, destress and enjoy more of your life? Shouldn’t you create more room to play and enjoy life without having to have any reasons for play? Let go, laugh!

The Supreme Accomplishment Blur Line Between Work And Play

Your not playing to win a match you are playing to play. Be as a little kid again. Be innocent. Use your imagination. Draw, color, make pictures or mud castles. Can you imagine yourself doing this? If not then you really must! Take time to let go and discover new things.

When you can play as a little child does you can learn new things, build new skills. You destress, chill, relax and regain your energy. You actually use your time productively doing ‘nothing’ purposeful. You aren’t trying to win. You are enjoying the present moment.

The Time To Relax And Play Is When You Don’t Have Time For It

There are many benefits for your mind, body, and spirit. When you play and lighten up your mood becomes more positive and lighter. You relax. You feel better and can think clearer. You take a vacation from seriousness and that is a great opportunity. Plus, more!

Be present. Be playful. Be innocent. Be delighted. Be curious. Become fascinated. Get captivated. Fill yourself with awe and delight. Chase a butterfly and enjoy the romp. You can do this. Get out of your head. Give yourself permission and go have some fun. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Use This Little Know Secret Today To Stop Life From Sucking And Get What You Want

“There are many things people attempt in order to create the future they want. Some work some don’t. Want to know what DOES work? Read on as I elaborate on my previous post. Don’t just read, however, implement. Put it into practice! Apply it and change!

We all visualize and see internal images although some don’t realize it. In fact, some are convinced they don’t, until it is demonstrated to them, they do. Still, sometimes, those people have a hard time accepting that they visualize but aren’t aware of their images much.

Learn to deliberately engage your ability to visualize and strengthen that muscle. Great thinkers through the ages have used this ability to imagine and create great things. From, artists and inventors to architects and engineers, famous and not so famous, all visualize.

Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes

It is simple and the visualization muscle improves and grows stronger with repeated deliberate use. Yes, some naturally see their images more easily than others but all of us can benefit from training our brains to give us what we want. This is an important principle.

Journaling greatly assists the process. When we handwrite out our goals being detailed and specific we create the images in our minds. Writing helps us to slow down and image the scenarios in more detail. It is great practice to journal this way for a few minutes daily.

When we tell stories we visualize as we describe what is going on. You can imagine being interviewed by someone and you tell what happens in vivid detail. Provide great detail by including what things look like, sound like, feel like, who is there, where you are and more.

What You See Is What You Get

The more you add into your stories the more real they become to you. Each time you use your muscles in physical exercise it grows a bit. The same is true of your capacity to visualize well. A little daily practice goes along way. You don’t need a lot of time. A few minutes.

I’ll share much more in the next blog post. I’ll share some powerful things you can do that ARE secret to many. So keep reading and keep applying. Have fun, live with gratitude. Journal and talk about what you want. Focus on having it right now and not off in the future.

Make it present and immediate. Live it right now in your mind. Speak only about and write about those things you want to have and include. Imagine yourself with them right now. Imagine being that ‘awesome’ future you, right now today. You can do this!

If You Can Conceive It And Believe It You Can Achieve It

What does that look like? What are you seeing? What mental images are you aware of? What does it sound like? What sounds do you hear? What do you say to yourself? What do others say to you? Feel it! What does it feel like? Where in your body do you feel it?

What are you thinking and doing? What are others doing? Where are you? What is going on? Consider these questions and more to flesh out the experience and make it more vivid and real. Write it down. Tell the interviewer. This is a first step and a powerful process.

How would it be different and better? Linger with these thoughts. Enjoy them. Enjoy the feelings. Really feel it. Feel what it is like to have it right now. Be it! Claim it because it is you and it is yours. Delight in all. Feel grateful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Can Conceive and Believe You Can Achieve

“Anything humans have made first existed as an idea. It began as a vision which was then translated into reality. This is true whether the item is a chair, a freeway, or a political system. It begins in the imagination. Then it becomes physical reality.

Whatever you visualize repeatedly you bring to pass. What you see is what you get! What you say, the stories you repeat to yourself and others, is what you get. You are always actively manufacturing your reality and results in your life, wanted or unwanted.

Intended or not. People fear the worst. They imagine it, see it in their mind’s eye, and then it shows up. Not instantly, like magic, but eventually. We are creators. What we focus on we get. We must learn to switch our predominant focus to what we want and intend.

Life Isn’t Happening To You –  Life Is Responding To You 

Our difficulty manifesting stems from conflict. Whenever we decide we want something, that instant, part of us responds with doubt, fears, or worry. We don’t believe we can get it, or deserve it, or are good enough. We think others might but not us. Something wrong!

We run interference on ourselves. We imagine the lack, instead of what we want. We are a house divided instead of one united. So it takes much longer while we create not having it. Understand this? In order to get it we must focus on actually having it or being it.

If it is a car we must be a proud new car owner and feel like we have it. If it is riches, or confidence, or success we must feel we are rich, successful and confident prior to actually being any of those things. By imagining we are it we become it. When we become it we get it.

You Are The Creator – Your Thoughts Create Your Life

What we hold in our head we someday can hold in our hand. What we focus on we get. What we think about most we become. We must be congruent and believe we are entitled to it and feel one with it. I know, some readers ask how do we do it? By repeatedly doing it.

We need to stick with it. Repeat it, correctly, consistently for long enough and we will get it. We will come to believe it. We will end up having the faith and the feelings by doing it. It is a 95% mental game and a 5% strategy, know how to do it, game. Why rules over how.

The mind is the key to unlocking the door to everything you want. Why you want it, how you feel about it and think about it. Feel as if you already have it, enjoy it. Live as if! This is where we put most of our thoughts and efforts. Still, we must DO it 95% most of the time.

Life Is Your Call – Make It Wonderful – Live Delightfully

You can’t think about it once and then let doubt rule. You must walk your talk. Stay with it. Keep the dream alive in your heart. Most people will work really hard to try to get it, over work, trying figure it out. They will try this and try that but not rule their own mind.

The mind runs the show. Know how is fine once the mental game is on right. If the head isn’t on straight the  rest won’t matter much.  In my last post I mentioned visualizing your dreams and goals. I discussed  making great things happen through mental rehearsal.

What do you want? Build on your success. Keep moving forward and keep enjoying more of life. Focus on it and stay engaged with it. Delight in your mental rehearsal. Keep in mind you are creating. Oh, by the way, creation can be a messy process.

What Is Meant To Be Always Finds A Way – It Will Show Up

It never works the way we think it should. It can be tumultuous during the process. From chaos stars are born. So don’t dissuade yourself if things don’t seem to be happening. Don’t get bent out of shape and give up if some turmoil or difficulty arises. It is creation!

It rarely if ever happens according to plan. We imagine it. It happens but usually the end result, the culmination in our success, comes as a surprise. Almost as if it were an afterthought. That is why, sages suggest we think, ‘this or something better’ when creating.

We imagine it specifically but we let go of how it will show up. We expect it to come but we give up managing how and when and by what conditions.  Ask and we receive. Knock and wait. Expect and let go. Put in the order and remain eagerly certain it will show up.

You Don’t Play Golf To Relax – You Relax To Play Golf

It is on the way. When and how is not our concern. At least it shouldn’t be. That is where we get into comparing and fearing and worrying it isn’t coming, or it isn’t working, and we divide the house all over again. Instead of being focused on what we wan, we aren’t.

We dig a hole, fill it up, then dig it again, then scatter the dirt, then fill it up, while digging another hole and scattering the dirt and it goes on and on. We must stop, focus, get congruent in our thoughts and feelings. Live in alignment. That is why gratitude can be so powerful.

Remember, stop and smell the roses each time your pursue your goals and dreams. Remember to include thinking about and feeling grateful for all the blessings in your life. Live with appreciation moment to moment and you live well. Feel good about having it.

To  Perform As A Winner – You Must See Yourself A Winner

Feel grateful prior to it showing up. Live with appreciation and you won’t be concerned with micromanaging your creation. You’ll be too busy enjoying life. If you want it and don’t care how or when, but you are eager for it in an ‘oh boy’ delighted way,’ that works.

Then 95% of the time you are loving life, feeling positive and grateful and certain it will come. The mindset is ‘good things always come to me. Things always work out’. Feel blessed. Feel enthused, feel thrilled. Love every second of it! This is how to change your life.

It is simple to get things done. Far simpler and easier that most people think. It is surprisingly simple, even at it’s toughest, when you put your mind to work in positive ways. With the right attitude anything is possible! Believe you can and you can! Understand?

There Are Plenty Of Obstacles In Your Path Don’t Be One Of Them

Enjoy your mental rehearsal. Spend time imagining how wonderful everything ALL is. Enrich the mental experience by adding detail whenever you can. Enrich the sights, the sounds, the feelings. Perhaps, you notice smells or even tastes. Make it as real as possible.

Make it vivid and to your liking. After all, it is your movie in your head. Tailor it so that as you view it you feel supercharged and excited about it. It doesn’t have to be ‘rah rah’ cheerleader pumped, but it could be. Make it wonderful for yourself! Delight in it.

When you do this you are putting your order in to the universe. You are informing your subconscious mind that THIS is what I want. You are clarifying and amplifying. Feelings are the most important. So you build it with sights and sounds to really feel it. Get it?

It Is True – Thankful People Are Happy People

Journaling can help you too. Write out in detail what you want to occur. When you write it down you visualize. It is a good practice. Journaling, in this manner, a bit each day is a great habit to develop. Visualize each day too. Get good at it. Really feel it. AND let it go!

Stay with the dream but let it arrive however and whenever it does. Have fun along the way. Remember the aphorism, ‘it is not the destination but how you travel along the way’. Enjoy traveling. Have fun by yourself and with others.  It will happen. Keep the faith. Meanwhile, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Science Puts Mind Power To Work: It’s Time You Did Too!

“You know thoughts are things, right? Today, a human can run certain machines by mind power alone. There are toys kids can learn to lift a ball or run computer images in a race by thought power alone. Thoughts are energy. They can be measured.

They can be put to physical work. Isn’t that amazing? Yes.  Then again, no. From early times on sage men and women have told us thoughts are things. What we think becomes the results we get. Today, science helps us realize this through certain applications.

think we are still far more incredible than the current scientific applications. We are able to do far more than fly jet planes with our brain power, but it is a start. Having said this, realize your thoughts carry weight and power. They do create results!

Thoughts Are Things – You Get What You Focus On

You have, at your disposal, an incredible ability to change yourself and your life for the better by managing your thoughts.

SO today, imagine you are unstoppable. You are invincible. You are powerful to do what you want that is good for you and others; and that is kind, and cool. You are able to pursue your goals and dreams with tenacity and complete commitment. You persist. You go for it.

AND nothing can stop you! Whatever you put your mind to IN A POSITIVE WAY you follow through on. Imagine in your mind’s mental movie theater going for and accomplishing your biggest life goal and dream. Really savor how that feels to make it happen.

Imagine people congratulating you. Hear what they say. Feel the pats on the back, hugs, and the handshakes. See the look in their eyes as they tell you how wonderful it is and how happy they are for you. Take it in. Feel how good this feels. Embrace it. Enjoy it. Feel it!

Congratulations – You Did It – Excellent Job – Well Done – Bravo

You did it! That is because YOU ARE the kind of person who CAN do it. You did it because you willed to do it. You kept going and you did not let anything stop you. You decided what you wanted and you went for it. You helped others along the way AND made it happen.

You can look back over time and notice that through every obstacle you found a way. With each difficulty you learned something you benefited from and applied. Every challenge was actually a stepping stone to making your dream happen and you used each.

You overcame and you completed your pursuit. You got what you wanted. You are now enjoying it. This is incredible and you are invincible. You are magnificent. You are ecstatic! Delight in this. Wrap these feelings around you. Feel them through and through!

Notice How Good It Feels To Make Your Dreams Come True

Feel how wonderful to achieve your dreams. Take pride in that sense of accomplishment. Feel the confidence that you gained by making it happen. Really take the time to see and feel all of this because this or something better is how it can be. THIS is waiting for you.

Create your future. Move into your future by feeling what you would feel then, right now. Become these feelings. Feel successful because you are successful, you did it. It Isn’t Enough To Want It! Lot’s Of People Want It: You Must Become It!

“You know what you want AND you have wanted it a good long time. Still you don’t have it. You can continue to want it and still not get it. Wanting it isn’t enough. It isn’t the answer. There is something else.

Some people try hard to make the Law Of Attraction work. They stick with it awhile then abandon it stating, ‘it doesn’t work’ or more accurately, they ‘couldn’t figure out how to make it work’.

IT always is working but knowing how to work with it is something different. Gravity is always in operation and knowing how to work with it is different if you want to make a airplane take off.

Awareness And Understanding Are The First Steps

Consider this for a moment. Imagine you live in a land where there are no bicycles. Never saw one. They do not exist. One day you pick up a book and you read about bicycling.

It captivates you and you long to ride one. It becomes a deep passion and your read everything you can get your hands on about riding a bike. You imagine doing it. You desire it. You want it.

Still, you have not ever ridden one. Knowing about and wanting to do are not equivalent with having the experience. You know about riding the bike but aren’t riding one.

Your Desire Must Become White Hot – Then You Must Have Faith

It is not a perfect analogy but similarly, some people know all about the Law Of Attraction without ever actually tapping into it. Do you understand this? They want it. They know about it. But they aren’t it.

Remember, we don’t attract what we want. We attract what we are. We attract what we ALREADY are. If you want to be different in the future you must imagine already being different right now.

You must BE it to attract it. You want money you must be wealth first. You want happiness you must be happy first. You want success you must be success first. It begins within you. You become it first.

You Must Become What You Want To Attract

In your mind and in your soul you must already be it. It isn’t a question of whether you will or won’t get it because you already are it. You are that which you seek. That is why you ultimately find it.

As long as it is only a mental fascination you will not easily manifest what you want. This is why some people give up. They are interested but that is as far as they take it. They want but they aren’t it, yet.

Everything in these blog posts is designed and intended for you to discover how to become it. You must make it your study. You must do what it takes and you will unlock it. You must become it!

To Achieve Something You Have Never Achieved Before …

It is as close to you as your breath even when it seems miles away. Remember, you become what you think about most often. What is it you are thinking about? What is your attention on most of the time?

Your feelings are your indicators. How do you feel most of the time? You must feel your best most of your time. How can you feel your best? Turn your attention to what you are grateful for!

Gratitude is the attitude of feeling well-being. When you are grateful for all now you are making room for more. Fill your mind with gratitude and positive thoughts. Enjoy, delight, feel it and be it.

… You Must Become Someone You Have Never Been Before

Act as if you already have that which you want. Feel what it likes to be the person you want to become. Feel what it is like to do and have the good you want in the future, right now. Experience the feelings.

Pretend! The mental work IS feeling work. Feelings drive the show. It isn’t enough to know it intellectually you must become it. Then you attract what you already are. Like only attracts like.

Pretend it inside! You did this as a child. Feel it Fully! Live it! Be It!

It makes perfect sense when you stop to think about it. If gold only attracted gold, and you are lead thinking you want to be gold, you aren’t gold. Feel like gold and you become more like gold.

Become The Rock The River Can’t Wash Away

Get it? Your feelings are what make it work. Your thoughts precede your feelings. You will never feel it unless you think it right in the first place. From thinking comes feeling. From feeling comes action.

From action comes habits. Automatic, reliable actions help you make it happen. From habits come results. From your mind to reality you can make it happen when you become it. Like attracts like.

Act as if. Fill your mind daily. See it, hear, it, feel it, taste it, smell it. Live it over and over, want it so much it becomes burning desire. Feel yourself IT. Know you will have it because you make it happen.

What You Think You Become – What You Feel You Attract

Then you can get it. Then you create it and attract it. Then all aspects of you are aligned to have it. It is about being congruent. Some use the word vibrations. Your vibrations must match what you desire.

That is what it means to be congruent. It is a match. Beyond that it is all oars in the water paddling in the same direction, working together at the same time to get to the same destination. Get it?

Enjoy the process it goes faster. Trust it when you can’t see it and it goes faster. Live it and feel it and it goes faster. How you think, feel act, speak and live determines your successes. Be it! Be gratitude, be love, be kindness, be wealthy, be happy, be love, be delight! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

A Critical Understanding: What You Are Not Aware Of Holds You Hostage!

“Whatever is outside of your awareness runs the show. It is what is going on that you don’t pay attention to that determines whether you get what you want or not. So much of our thinking is automatic and below the threshold of consciousness. It governs everything.

When you begin to take control of your thinking you work with what you are aware of. You change the obvious negative thoughts you encounter into positive. You recite affirmations. You do this a few times a day, consistently and over time. Things begin to shift.

You start experiencing success. You become aware of your thinking and your feeling. You begin to notice whether you feel good most of the time or not. Your life changes. The process takes a while just as it takes a while for a plant to grow from seed to bear fruit. It’s all good.

We Are Fortunate To Become Aware Of The Content Of Our Mind

The subconscious works doing what it learned to do from birth onward. It is a storehouse of automatic habits, beliefs, memories and experiences from which we navigate the world. When we decide to change it’s a conscious decision to change the subconscious process.

I have compared this to the rudder steering a large ship in previous posts. We direct the subconscious, we train and condition it through correct repetition of strong emotions, affirmations and visualization. We do this repetitiously to get it to learn what we want it to now do.

While we learn to be different there still are all these habits of thought that continue. Petty thoughts, sometimes about nothing in particular. We don’t think about them we just think them. We barely ever notice them unless the signal value becomes loud enough.

Once Aware – We Can Move From Chaos And Misery To Bliss

These thoughts dictate our experience. They govern our day. Because we don’t notice them we don’t change them. They are chatter. They are mostly less than glorious, maybe neutral, but make up negative commentary or narration about our daily experiences.

I’ll give you an example I hope illuminates. I am in the lap pool doing laps and enjoying. A woman comes in, could have been anyone actually, man or woman. She is new. She stops me to ask how she gets into my lane. I tell her duck under the buoys. This bothers her.

She doesn’t want to get her hair wet. I noticed when she entered the pool she hadn’t showered. This bothered me. I didn’t say anything. Anyway, she does her thing. Soon, she grabs some floats off the pool side which a handicapped man had been using and takes them.

Become Aware Of What You Are Thinking – You Will Recognize …

He points this out to me. I get out of the pool and go get him some more dumbbell floats and give them to him. She appears oblivious. Too concerned with not getting her hair wet apparently. He thanks me and begins his exercise. I return to my lane and she joins me.

She gets into my lane by going around. Now she moves slowly in front of me. She starts a conversation with another woman in the center lane and they walk slowly. In my lane she moves down the middle arms out to both sides. I am becoming annoyed. It goes on.

I am thinking, who does she think she is? Why does she come here and into my lane? I think, if you are going to be here get wet, go all in. How about being aware of others. There were plenty of floats on the rack why did you just pick the ones at the lane? Soon, I notice.

… A Connection Between Your Mood And Your Circumstances

It wasn’t too long before I began to notice myself feeling less than glorious. My attention had shifted from how much I enjoyed the water, the day, my time in there to how dare this interloper come in here and have no regard for anyone. Who does she think she is?

THEN, I realized I was spiraling downward. I wasn’t angry. I was annoyed. I felt less than glorious. I realized my thoughts we running on about something that wasn’t important. I was spending time thinking and reacting to what I didn’t want. I was caught up.

It was the monkey mind running from treetop to treetop chattering at everything below. Do you understand? I wasn’t in charge it was running me. As I became aware of it I went, Whoa! STOP! Think and speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Stop giving this attention.

If You Want To End Negativity Become Aware Of Positive Things

I remembered Jesus saying, forgive them for they know not what they do. Clearly, this woman didn’t and I could forgive. She hadn’t really done anything wrong, it was just whatever she was doing bumped up against how I thought things should be. Rules. Beliefs.

Once I became aware that I was letting my mind drive me into unpleasantness I could shift it. I realized I had spent a good number of minutes experiencing unpleasantness ALL between my own ears. I was looking through my eyes but my discomfort came from within.

The rest of the day I noticed whenever I would think thoughts of things I could not change. If noticed that if someone or something upset me how I wanted to think it again and again. There was a natural tendency to solve it or continue to relive the discomfort.

Awareness Allows Us To Escape The Trap Of Our Daily Lives

It was as if I could play it enough I might be able to feel better  by thinking the right thing to say or do. It was planning for if this might occur in the future. Actually, I was just getting caught in a negative loop that ran endlessly while making me feel worse. INSIGHT!

Let it go. The thoughts returned. I repeatedly had to put them aside and think what I wanted. I learned there’s a lot of automatic BS goes on; about trying to control situations, how people should conform and behave, thoughts about traffic or slow lines. ALL junk thoughts!

Junk thoughts about everyday things. Just petty everyday nuisances that chewed up time and energy.  Most of the time these  thoughts operate outside awareness but use up critical energy. As I became more aware of these I could let them go and shift to the positive.

There Is So Much To Be Grateful And Thankful For That We Miss

Only as I became more aware of the less than glorious chatter, and let it go, I became free. Once aware I could drop them. As long as it ran on below threshold it dictated experience. This is how many of us spend our days. These thoughts lead to stress and discomfort.

Remember, we become what we think about most of the time. I would never have been able to notice them nor alter them and change my experience from less than glorious back to feeling good without all my previous work, on taking charge, to begin with.

We first begin to change the things with the highest signal value, that which we are aware of. Gradually, because of these efforts, we can recognize more of the subtleties that hold us back or keep us stuck. Then we can keep making changes that move us forward.

Change Comes From Doing The Same Things Differently

We TRULY can transform ourselves by the renewing of our minds. It requires dedication and awareness. At an earlier point in my life I’d have been disappointed to discover the monkey mind chatter thinking I should be beyond that. Instead, I now could celebrate.

Anytime, we can find that which frees us up to enjoy more of the wonderful opportunities living provides for us, we can delight. The more we feel wonderful and think wonderfully the more we create a wonderful life. It all works together. Become aware. Delight in all.

Work on becoming free. Take control of your thoughts and feelings it is worth it! Nothing comes close to helping us enjoy the life we live as getting free from past, old, borrowed, chronic, habitual conditioning. No reason to live that way when we can live renewed.

Be Transformed By The Renewing Of Your Mind

Find gratefulness in everything. Enjoy and delight. Don’t let other people or circumstances rain on your parade. Guess what, as I discovered, it wasn’t the woman who was bothering me. IT was MY OWN thought process. My thinking was causing my hell, not her.

I used her as an excuse. Something, someone to blame and to shift the focus from what I was doing to what she was doing. That is how we live much of the time. It IS what causes our suffering. Stop! Notice. Become aware. Change YOUR thoughts. Be positive

Don’t blame outside yourself. It really isn’t about others, events or circumstances. We just typically think it is because that is what we were raised to think. The discomfort doesn’t come from outside us. It comes from within each of us. It’s due to old thought habits. Take responsibility. Take the right thought action to be free. Most importantly, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
