Einstein Ought To Know: Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. This is an absolute fact. Imagination stimulates our creativity and takes us to places we might never go. Knowledge can be useful but knowledge also hampers and prevents us. People are stopped by what they ‘know’.

Even the best scientists, often, can’t see past the limitations of the accepted known into new unexplored dimensions. They are stopped by what they’re certain about. All science is yesterday’s news. It was true then. It may still apply or it may not. We just don’t know, yet.

Scientific ‘fact’ is theory. The aim of science is to create theories that help explain and illuminate. The first goal in the scientific method is a well constructed, operationalized test, that can be verified and replicated. Then tests are carried out and the results examined.

Knowledge Is Limited – Imagination Encircles The World

If the results can be duplicated then they may be onto something. Scientists try to disprove the null hypothesis. They try to disprove their research premise or theory. If they fail to disprove it they may accept is as the best explanation they have to date.

In a nutshell it works this way. Until there is a better explanation ‘science’ accepts the best theory they have to date. Science isn’t about truth it is about exploring and finding the best descriptions. Temporary answers that move us forward to the next discovery.

Science is about uncovering ‘what is’ but not becoming religious about it. However, frequently scientists do. The best minds of the day are often the loudest voices against innovations. ‘If humans were meant to fly God would have given them wings!’

The Man Who Has No Imagination Has No Wings

Often times new, legitimate research has difficulty finding  journal publication because it counters the current, accepted scientific views. If it goes against popular theory or there is no money in it may get reported.  Alternately, some ‘science’ is bought and paid for.

Sadly, in our day, scientific research is reported daily in media without waiting for results to be replicated.  Duplication is a hallmark tenant of the scientific method. If a research can’t be replicated it may be considered questionable.

One example doesn’t cut it. We don’t make a case on one. We rely on more verification for research to be accepted. At least good science does. Media doesn’t care what is good science. It only cares what brings up the ratings and the profits through viewership.

Logic Gets You A to Z – Imagination Takes You Everywhere Else

This is why one day it is reported that, researchers of one study, found X is beneficial for you and the next day another study finds that X isn’t. This is media exploitation, not science.  Many people either believe it and quote it, or assume it is all just media junk.

Either way it impacts on our thinking. Imagination means going beyond what is and what is known. It allows us to move beyond the limitations or what is known about a problem and look into other possibilities. We ought not be stopped by what we know.

Often, however, we are. When attempting to create something new inertia needs to be overcome. Even some of the most progressive minds display resistance when it comes to new and novel ideas. Remember, what we resist persists and this is true of science too.

The World Is But A Canvas To Our Imagination

Accepting new ideas doesn’t mean running to a roof top and trying to fly. If you want to try to fly begin by ascending from the sidewalk not leaping from great heights. Prudence, common sense, which is not so common, is also required. Safety first is a useful frame.

Imagination can take us to places we would never go. It allows us to think big and think beyond the given. It allows us to triumph over circumstances and become the person of our dreams. Act as if, our visualizations, our mental movies are directing our imagination.

Unrestrained imagination can be wildly creative or frivolous fantasy. Directed, intentional use of imagination can help us achieve great things and accomplish our goals and our purpose. Think big, dream big, plan big, don’t let not knowing how stop you, instead adventure.

Real Discovery Is Not New Landscapes But Seeing With New Eyes

Explore. Go for it. Do it!  Act as if you are already that person you want to be. Mentally live it and rehearse it. See it, feel it, speak it, behave it, be it and you can become it. You become what you think about the most. Transform yourself by what IS possible.

Don’t be like the scientist who says no to innovation. The present circumstance, though dire, okay terrible, are not the final answer. Neither are glorious circumstances. Circumstances should not dictate how far you go. You should dictate that. You decide!

Triumph over your circumstances. Learn from them. Grow from them. Discover new ways of being and doing because of them. Accept their challenge and be victorious. If you give up you will have succeeded in giving up. If you keep going you can succeed.

The Results You Get – You Bring About What You Think About 

You decide what your future will be each moment. Give yourself permission to dream big and discover new potential. Had the Wright Brothers not thought about soaring in the skies we might not have flown yet. Thomas Savery conceived of the steam engine.

Had Edison not thought about making electric light available we might not have lamps, television or movies, and much more. Tesla provided us with alternating current. Ford the automobile. Gates, Jobs and others computers, software and smart phones.

Einstein revolutionized science and stated, ‘imagination IS more important than knowledge’. Napoleon Hill stated, ‘What the mind of man can conceive and bring itself to believe, it can achieve’. To innovate we need to dream it up AND believe we can accomplish it.

Imagination And Creativity Can Change Your World

What we focus on we get. What we think about we bring about. Many people use their imagination to end up with less than glorious or even horrible results. Fearing the worst, they worry and rehearse negative circumstances in their mind. Then they live out the results.

Stop negative planning and creation! Create what you want instead of what you don’t want. Focus on what you want. Focus on the good, the positive, and use your imagination to bring that about. What YOU think about YOU bring about. Keep it in mind and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

When You Don’t Feel Like It: Do This

“Expectations can be a blessing and a curse. We should expect the best of ourselves and others and be realistic at the same time. Fear and worry about the future doesn’t support us at all. It is negative rehearsal. It is negative affirmations and negative planning.

While we should expect the best we should also be practical and realistic about it. We can dream fantastically big and not accomplish anything or we can dream fantastically big and take steps to bring it about. We do need to place our attention on what does work.

It has been said there is no such thing as unrealistic expectations only unrealistic time frames. Given the right amount of time we may be able to accomplish anything. Anything is possible. Everything may be possible. Dream big and then step by step. Focus on the first step.

Positive Thoughts Generate Positive Feelings

Proceed forward picking up your goals as you climb each rung of a ladder to get to the top. Keep the large end goal in mind while you succeed in picking up each smaller goal in succession. Work your plan. Your plan need not be perfect, you can always adjust it. BUT…

You still need a plan to get from where you are to where you want to go. You need a road map that you use as you journey. Without a plan or road map you drift. You may find that you must detour along the way but that is all part of the journeying process. It’s okay!

Moving forward is simple. It may not always be easy but it is simple. It can be easy too. We shouldn’t think that it is not. It can be very easy. Regardless, it is simple to move forward step by step. Anything can be accomplished when broken into tinier bits or steps.

Positive Thoughts And Feelings Generate Positive Life Experiences

You can manage it. Want to clean your house? It seems too big a task. Either set a small amount of time to straighten up, say 20 minutes, and do that daily. It takes longer but if you do it repeatedly, consistently for long enough you will get the house clean. Or…

Pick one room at a time, if that works better for you, and clean each room using the same principle. Motivation comes from doing not from waiting to be motivated. This is where our feelings often don’t serve us. We wait to feel like it. That won’t help you when you don’t.

For some it has to get bad enough and then they feel like it. They feel pressured that they must then do it. Some wait until deadline pressures cause them enough pain. Then they act. This manner of doing things works but it isn’t very pleasurable. Your choice.

You Can Choose Your Thoughts And You Can Change Your Life

My main premise is very simple. Whatever one thinks that stops them needs to be examined and managed. Go beyond what stops and into new ways of being. Our thoughts, feelings, behaviors and habits should support us. We should control and dictate them.

Manage your thinking and feeling and you take charge of your behaviors and habits. You get better results because you take control of your life. You may have to train yourself to do it, we all do, but then train yourself. Train as a champion does. Make it happen!

Be rigorous and dedicated to bringing about the positive changes you desire. Don’t slack off. Be committed. A champion knows that to win gold tomorrow they must keep training today. They train even when they don’t feel like it. They control their thinking and feelings.

Every Thought We Think Is Creating Our Future

Look for the good in all. Find the silver lining. Manage and control your thinking. There is only one point in all of this:  make your life incredible. Be in charge of your life. Take the initiative. Don’t be a victim. Be a victor instead. Live like you mean it. Live your dreams.

Do little things that bring about change. Go for a walk. Skip or dance and move. Smile more, laugh out loud for a good five minutes. Get a massage. Meditate. Gift yourself in doing something fun. Plant a garden. Do little things that feel good and inspire you. Enjoy each.

Live fully and be grateful for all and you can have the life you want most. It is simple. Don’t let whatever stops you, stop you. Learn to stop, stopping yourself. Learn to move forward progressively and enjoy every single step. Enjoy and delight in all of it.

Success Is Achieved By Those Who Keep Trying With A PMA

The journey can be fun or frustrating. You determine how it will be. You respond to what life throws your way. You can respond well or not so well. It is completely up to you. Many people want big change real fast and are disappointed and give up when it doesn’t occur.

It can happen quickly or it can take time. Sometimes, some people transform instantly, sometimes it is gradual. When it is gradual enjoy it. You and life get better bit by bit. That can be an incredibly joyful process if you allow for it. Focus on what you want and delight.

Delight in bringing it about along the way. Enjoy each moment. Even the rough ones. Get past your stopping or stuck points and your limited thoughts and feelings and move into new powerful dimensions of being. Become invincible and unstoppable and positive! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Can Become The Person You Want To Be Before Actually Becoming That Person!

“Pretend and master. It is what method actors do. They create a character from the inside. They think the thoughts and feelings of the person they are portraying. ‘Act as if’ is a way to become the person you want to be in advance of actually becoming that person.

You pretend and master. If you are new to my blog you might wish to refer to some of the recent earlier posts. Suffice to say you are mentally and emotionally rehearsing what it is like to be, do and have exactly what you want. You use your imagination to create it.

It works because you align you mindset, emotions and behaviors. You congruently act as if you already are, the good, you want to be in the future. You inform your own subconscious that ‘this’ IS what I want. You rehearse. You practice. Then, you get what you practiced.

We Are What We Pretend To Be – Be Careful What You Choose 

It is pretty cool! You get what you focus on. You become what you think about most often. Keep it up and evolve yourself into that person by acting as if you already are that person. If you want to be happy, act happy. If you want to be rich, act rich. Do you follow?

Many of those who already are personally and/or professionally, successful do this naturally. They simply don’t know any other way to be. They can’t imagine any other way of doing it. Others do this purposefully to create what they want. They intend it!

It IS their reality. Happiness brings more happiness. Success attracts more success. Money brings more money. Birds of a feather flock together. Like attracts like. Mindset and attitude pave the way and the rest follows. It works. All you have to do is legitimately try it on.

Whether You Realize It Or Not – You Are Always Choosing

Today, and for the future, rehearse this. Try on this mental frame for yourself. It is another useful way to think about things and organize your life experience. It is both practical and powerful. It helps you notice more of what you are putting out there.

Awareness of what you are putting out, or ‘vibrating at’ helps you manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It helps you learn and set reliable success habits by knowing when and where you are on target or off track. It allows you to calibrate your efforts.

Ancient masters from early times on have either alluded to or directly stated the following. You are a broadcasting and receiving station. You are a walking perpendicular antennae on the planet. You send to and receive from the universe and others.

Complete Life Transformation Is Only A Decision Away

Whether you believe that to be true of not, pretend to be a broadcasting and receiving  station. Whether or not it is true pretend it just the same. Again, remember, this exercise is about organizing your awareness of what you are thinking and doing.

As a broadcasting station what are you broadcasting to the world? Is it positive? Is it happy? Is it success? Is it rich? Is it fun? Is it love? Is it peace? Is it glorious? What precisely is it you put out there day and night? What are you ‘transmitting’ to others and the world?

What do you offer? What do you transmit? What are you radiating? What do others feel, think and notice about your presence? You can manage what you broadcast and you should want to. You want to emit the very best, the very highest, vibrational frequency. Get it?

Allow Yourself To See What You Don’t Allow Yourself To See

What are you sending out there by what you think, feel and do? Then, just as importantly what are you receiving? What messages are you allowing in? How are you spending your time? Are you being filled with positivity or negativity? Are you purposeful or drifting.

Are you focus or distracted? What gets past you and into your mind? What are the influences you court or tolerate? What is the energy you surround yourself with and fill yourself up from?  All of this makes a big difference in how you go about your day and your life.

Are you filling your mind with positive, inspiring, motivational material that leads you to thinking, feeling and doing better? Are you more positive and productive as a result of what you pay attention to. Do you read daily and surround yourself with positive people?

OR do you listen to negative news and gossip? Do you waste time on social media paying arguing with others or filling your mind with negativity? How do you utilize your time and what are you filling your mind with? Are you hanging around with negative influences?

‘Act as if’  is a template, a mindset, a frame that you adopt to be aware of you how you move in the world. Use it to determine what you are focused on most of the time. We become what we think about most. This is a critical practice to adopt.

Acting Is Pretending To Be Someone Else – Act As If You Rock

Learn about yourself. Recognize what you do that holds you back and that moves you forward. Do less of what holds you back and more of what moves you forward. You will make better progress. Learn to do what is necessary for positive advancement and do it.

Are you helping yourself or hindering yourself? Do you help others, encourage them, and celebrate their successes or are you envious and resentful? Do you help others or try to prevent them, or step on them to get ahead? Which is it? All this is useful information.

You get further faster by cooperating with yourself, aligning yourself and becoming congruent AND by cooperating with others. Turn resistance into assistance so you can succeed more readily. Remember, what you resist persists. Can you feel it? I bet you can.

You Are The Master Of Your Fate And The Captain Of Your Soul

Do this and succeed. Start now. Make it part of your daily ritual. Success habits need to be nurtured and developed routinely and consistently. They don’t develop haphazardly. Decide today! Change your life for the better by making changes in what you think and do.

Implement practices that move you closer to being who you want to be. Practice and rehearse success and you become it. Think the thoughts and feel the feelings of the happy, successful and richer you. Live it first on the inside and you can become it on the outside.

Results stem from and flow from inner processes. From within to without IS how it works. Get your head and heart on right and the rest will follow. Adjust your attitude. Activate your attitude to serve and support you. No one can do it for you but you. Do it today.

Happiness Is Letting Go And Celebrating Life For Everything It Is

Delight in everything. Enjoy the ease and the difficulties. Find the good hiding within everyone and all circumstances. Seek the positive and you will find it. Look for smiles and more laughter in each day. Decide to have fun, to enjoy, to explore, adventure and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Expert Reveals: The Number 1 Reason You Fail To Get What You Want

You set goals. You may even write them out. You visualize and you practice using the Law Of Attraction but nothing happens. You don’t get what you want, it doesn’t happen and it is frustrating. It is downright disappointing. So you chuck it. Been there done that.

Ha you experienced this or something like it? You try again. You have big, important wants. You want freedom, money, love, fame, success, a new career, a job, a new car or home, more vacation time, a significant other, you name it you want it. But you don’t get it.

Not yet, at least. Here is the number one determining factor between those who do make things happen for themselves and those who don’t. Those who ‘don’t’ expect it to come from outside them; the universe, god or others, provide it. They rely on others.

Action Is The Proper Fruit Of Knowledge

They visualize, they chant, they pray, they believe in the power, they affirm, hug trees, dance naked in the moon light, perform rituals and ceremonies, but nothing much changes much. The beg, plead, ask, shout and demand. They stamp their feet, yet, nothing happens.

Why is this? They put the source of power outside themselves. That is part of the reason. No one and no thing or entity or power is going to bestow it on you. Only you are going to make it happen or you will not make it happen. So here is the number one reason.

You want it. You desire it. You wish for it. However, you are not determined to get it. Yes, you want and need it, but you are still not determined to do whatever you must in a positive, productive, legitimate and honest way to get it. Otherwise you’d have it!

The More We Do The More We Can Do

Determination is the key. Those who are determined to be it or have it don’t let anything stop them. They do whatever is necessary to ensure they become and have what they want. They know it is totally up to them. They work at it and keep at it until they make it.

They may also affirm and visualize and dance naked and perform rituals and pray, and ask and demand but when it comes down to it they know it is completely about their mindset and their actions. If you have the right mindset and correct actions, results can follow.

Without it you end up spinning your wheels. Thought precedes feelings. They KNOW they will succeed. They feel it. They expect it they ARE CERTAIN. There is no way in hell they won’t have what they want because they will keep going until they do. Back-bone!

Faith Without Works Is Dead – Take Action – Make It Happen

Steel will power. They endure defeat, humiliations countless times along the way but they have the fight of a champion warrior in them. They have the mind of a victor and winner. Most other people hope, wish and give up. The warrior may work harder but doesn’t have to.

Because the mindset of the determined person is so focused this person does what is necessary and doesn’t consider it work. They enjoy making their dreams and goals come true. They do it gladly. The know what they want and they go after it with passion.

They are enthusiastic. They enlist others to help them by cultivating a winning, pleasing, personality. They understand that to succeed means to work with others and collaborate. Everyone in the boat rises together with the tide. They are a valued team player.

Whatever You Conceive And Believe You Can Achieve …

Their attitude is positive and optimistic. They aren’t imagining fantasy, they are positively thinking ‘I will do this! I can do this!’ They control and manage their thoughts.  They focus on the positive and eliminate the negative, to make it happen. Attitude is everything!

Their thoughts are aligned, targeted, powerful and positive which give rise to good, strong, feelings and emotions that anything is possible. They feel unlimited, eager and excited. Because their thoughts and feelings are aligned their actions follow too.

They act because they believe their actions will bare fruit. If they make mistakes they correct them. They overcome obstacles and difficulties. They are prepared that it won’t always be easy or comfortable, but that doesn’t prevent them. They enjoy challenge.

Key Words Are – You Can Achieve – Because It Is You Who Doing It

Their positive, powerful, productive thoughts, feelings and inspired actions ARE success habits. They have cultivated habits that support their pursuit. Still, they are driven and determined and always follow through. They are leaders and blaze the way. Winners never quit!

Yes, they may rely on coaches and mentors and others who have succeeded before them because these people are yes sayers not nay sayers. They understand the value of proper guidance and accept the wisdom of more experienced players. They learn and evolve!

This is a critical difference between those who have and those who don’t. Those who have DETERMINE to have. The others who want and hope but fear leaving their comfort zones miss out. If you want success you must stretch yourself and determine to make it yours.

Wake Up With Determination – Go To Bed With Satisfaction

The people who succeed the easiest are inspired by their wins and the wins of others. They aren’t envious or resentful. They are happy when people thrive and make it. They keep track of their wins, they delight and they are grateful for the opportunities they discover.

They don’t wait for circumstances to change they change the circumstances. They make use of everything. Millionaires are made in economic downturns, when the economy is flat and when it is on the rise. Mindset makes it happen. But, know this important rule.

It isn’t just mindset. It isn’t thoughts alone. That is why those sitting in their easy chairs chanting for money aren’t getting any. It is thought plus the right actions. Thought AND action. If you do nothing you get nothing. Still, the thinking is the most important.

You Don’t Get What You Wish For – You Get What You Work For

Right thinking is 99% responsible for success. 1% correct, applied action, brings it about. You aren’t working harder you are working smarter. Be smart. Get determined. If you aren’t already you can cultivate it. That is what affirmations and visualization are useful for.

Cultivate and develop the champion winner’s attitude, the steeled will power, determination and enthusiasm, the certainty you will succeed by learning to control your thinking process and your feelings. You can do this! That is why I created this blog! Learn it.

Do it! Learn from the great ancient masters and thought leaders. Apply the principles and practices. Fashion yourself into an unstoppable, unlimited, invincible, deliberate creator. That is putting the law of attraction to proper use! That will help you get your goals.

Do this and transform your life. Only you can. If you delay it you will succeed in delaying it. Start succeeding when and where you want to. Be the person you want to become. Start now. Expert Reveals: It’s Easy To Solve Problems And Achieve Goals When Done This Way

“Are there goals you want to reach but you haven’t been able to? Do you struggle to accomplish things? Perhaps, you are overwhelmed or bit off more than you can chew. Do you face seemingly unsolvable and insurmountable problems?

You still want to make it happen, right? You’d like to resolve your difficulties and reach your goals. You’d like to be successful and happy. This approach is very helpful in getting people over these types of issues. All you have to do is implement it. It works! Do it!

How do you climb Mount Everest? How do you get from one end of a hiking trail to the other? One step at a time. How do you eat an elephant? Bite by bite.  Drop by drop the tub gets filled. Better a little bit than no bit. Do things in smaller increments.

It Always Seems Impossible Until It is Done – If You Want It – Do It

Chunk the task into tinier manageable pieces or bits. Break it down into smaller components, each of which, by itself, is easy to perform or accomplish. Too often, people stop themselves because it feels to big and they don’t know what to do or want to do it.

Small bite size pieces. We cut food into tiny bites for children because it is easier. Do the same for yourself if you have trouble doing anything. You want to clean the house but it is too much. Clean an area of your desk, a drawer, some small part to begin the process.

Often, what you discover, is a sense of satisfaction at this s first accomplishment that you will do a little bit more. Bit by bit you end up getting it done. It is easier to do 5 or 20 minutes a day than an hour or more. Make the tasks manageable and easy. Then you win!

The Secret To Getting Things Done Is To Act – Take Action

When hiking or climbing a mountain experts suggest tell you to look at your feet, or four or five feet ahead on the ground.  Keep your head down and watch your steps. The same recommendation is made for cyclists. Keep your focus on the ground.

Looking off at the peak, a large distance away, can be discouraging and may make the ascent tougher. When you focus on the area just where you are or immediately in front of you, you stop comparing how far you need to go. Just look at what needs to be done now.

If you think the distance is great it’s easy to talk yourself out of it. Don’t defeat yourself. You can walk or bike four or five feet easily. You don’t notice the distance or the height this way. Your focus is on what you can easily do. It may still be arduous but less so.

Where You Focus Your Attention Is Where You Get Results

If your focus is only on each step you need to take you will still make progress at a steady rate. The goal doesn’t change but what you focus on does. Instead of concentrating on the end and length of the journey you concentrate on the smaller components.

How you enjoy the journey often determines how much you enjoy arriving at your destination. Gather up smaller wins along the way to the large one and you will feel better about yourself and about completing tasks. Apply this concept to making things happen in life.

Focus on what can be done in the immediate present. Focus on the tiny steps that you can take right now. You can overcome any problem and any difficulty, any challenge, no matter how big or seemingly insurmountable by chunking it down.

Keep Your Focus Entirely On What You Are Able To Do – Then Do It

Work at it bit by bit. You will get it done. If your kitchen drain is stopped and your faucet drips drops every few seconds, ultimately it could fill and overflow.  Each drop contributes to the overall.  Tiny efforts contribute to the overall effect of accomplishing your goal.

While it may take longer you still can overcome problems and achieve your goals.  The trade off is smaller and longer for not at all. Keep in mind you are making steady progress and winning along the way or you live complaining and worrying about it not getting done.

Take action and keep at it bit b bit, day by day, step-by-step until you reach your dream or solve your problem. Keep at it and get it done. If you quit or give up it won’t happen. Persist with the small, tiny, daily actions. You can accomplish great things. You truly can!

Do Less With More Focus – Action Expresses Your Priorities 

The trickle of a stream eventually becomes a river given the right amount of time. You are an amazingly powerful person. You have incredible resources within you. You can do this if you want to badly enough. Do just enough to keep yourself going forward.

Not too much. Do just enough to maintain the interest and the desire. Easy enough to do but not boring. Make it as interesting as possible. You can create a new habit of of being more productive. As you create the success habit of ‘getting it done’ you feel better.

You may feel relieved about crossing it off your list or resolving an issue. You might feel more inspired and motivated to get others things done once finished with the immediate concern. You feel better about yourself! Your confidence and self esteem increases.

If You Desire It Enough – You Will Take Positive Steps To Have It

Your self image can change from one who doesn’t do to one who can do anything. A little goes a long way! You can make enormous progress taking positive small actions each day. As you complete your tasks, reward yourself. Feel good. Pat yourself on the back. Delight in it. Keep a success journal and write it down. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Mindset, your attitude, is the most important tool, weapon, piece of the puzzle or secret ingredient. How we approach the world, how we perceive and frame what happens is crucial in how easily and readily we are able to move through those times.

Enlightened warriors use whatever is happening for positive development. They understand that challenges and obstacles are important for our inner and outer progress. They have realized that ‘the kite rises against the wind’ and that difficulties are necessary.

If You Can’t Change It – Change The Way You Think About It

This is the way of the enlightened peaceful warrior. They embrace and accept everything as important for their personal evolution. They know that what you resist persists. They understand the necessity of getting into flow. Acceptance IS what is needed.

Good people in our life are great to have BUT they are not that important in terms of our growth. They are support, they are community, they are part of our mastermind. The are important because of who they are and their connection to us.

The people who help us to grow the most are the ones we want to be around least. They are the asses, the rude, the strangers, neighbors, co-workers who rub us the wrong way. They are all the people we want to avoid. Why are these people important to us?

What You Deny Or Ignore You Delay – What You Resist Persists

Because they provoke us into thoughts and feelings we don’t want to experience. As long as they can bait us by who they are and what they do we will get hooked and reeled in the wrong direction. If we can learn from them and not get hooked we become free.

Pretend the issues is in you NOT in them. They are the catalyst. They are the provocateur. Without them we would not think and feel these things. These people come our way SO THAT we CAN get free. We need to realize they ARE a blessing not a curse. A blessing!

If we can love, forgive, embrace and understand them we can be free of them and get free of the issues inside us. They are the spotlight showing us the way out. They illuminate the areas we need growth. It is not just the people in our life but all problems and obstacles.

What You Face And Accept You Conquer – Let Go And Accept It

Less than glorious circumstances and personal problems are all blessings. If we are wise enough, intelligent enough, open enough, we can realize this and use them for greater freedom and a more wonderful life. Stop burning because of them and welcome  them.

Accept, allow, and understand. This may be true in real life or it may just be a mindset you adopt. Who cares? If you act as if, if you pretend, you can master it. Let go of problem people and circumstances as problems and welcome them as opportunities.

Change you mindset and attitude and beliefs about them and your life will change. Learn from each moment instead of resisting, accusing, excusing, whining, complaining and blaming. Love instead of hate, accept instead of being intolerant, be peaceful and enjoy.

Attitude Determines Your Altitude – Attitude Is Everything

Celebrate the tough times and they are no longer so tough! Take the sting out of the issue. Reduce the length of time it takes to go through difficult times. Perception is everything. Did you ever notice if you hate something, or are bored, or hurting, you endure it longer?

Fun times go by faster don’t they? Actually by clock time nothing changes, but by mental and emotional time everything may. Lessen the suffering by accepting the enemy. Make peace. You may or may not do it on the outside but do it on the inner. Be a peaceful warrior.

From within, change starts. Inside your mind and heart and being make the changes, if you can’t bring yourself to in the outer world. Perhaps, in time, it won’t matter to you either way. Make peace with the enemy. Celebrate all circumstances. Dance with the demons.

Bitter Trials Are Blessings In Disguise – Count Your Blessings

What you resist persists. Energy flows where attention goes. If you put energy into feeling bad about people you encounter or are surrounded by, or less than glorious circumstances, you get back more of the same. Birds of a feather flock together. You attract it.

When you let go, when you celebrate, when you are grateful and appreciate everything you go beyond the problems and issues. You enter an entirely new realm of being. You surpass the ordinary and live within the divine. If you consider it ALL divine you are free!

To change your life you must change what you think, feel and do on a daily basis. If you keep doing the same thing nothing changes. You keep the same issues and problems alive. Stop and make the changes you want to. Live the life you desire. Focus on the positive!

Talk About Your Blessings Not Your Burdens – Blessings Abound

Seek the silver lining. Find the good in all things and all people. Take the higher road. Take the road less traveled. Find ways to re-frame problem people and circumstances as blessings and opportunities. Welcome lessons! Learn, grow, find delight and enjoy!

It is a process. You will grow more and more capable. As you do whatever presents itself as challenging becomes less of a problem and more of an opportunity. Things change. The more you do the more you can do. You develop the skills. Acceptance becomes easier.

Many people make millions in the worst economic climates. Down times CAN be UP times! ‘One man’s meat is another man’s poison’. ‘One person’s floor is another person’s ceiling’. It is whatever we perceive it to be. Get it? Mindset is critical! It’s all about attitude!

What You See And What You Say Is What You Get – Be Positive

Perception is everything. What we believe runs the show. It is all a point of view. It is your point of view. As such it can change, but only you can change it. When you do new worlds open up to you.  You will see and live things differently and gloriously. You will become free.

Problems are there for our own good! Don’t avoid. Accept and allow. Become and enlightened, peaceful warrior. Make awareness and understanding your way. Find the good in all and people and circumstances stop being problems. Recognize how truly blessed you are and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Real Secret To Stop Losing And Becoming A Winner!

“Believe it or not there is a real art to winning and losing. To lose all you must do is not think and do certain things. In order to win you must think and do certain things AND not think and do other things. Knowing the difference IS what separates winners from losers.

Positive thinking is NOT sitting in front of your garden thinking over and over again, ‘there are no weeds, there are no weeds’. That is not what positive thinking is at all. Any one who tells you it is, is mistaken. They don’t understand what a positive mental attitude is.

Your Life Improves When You Decide To Control Your Thoughts 

Positive thinking is, ‘I can easily weed this garden and make it beautiful. I’m going  to make this garden beautiful.’ Then it is tending to the garden. Then it is weeding and planting and making it beautiful. The weeds don’t prevent you. Nothing stops you.

Positive thinking is developing the correct, or right, mindset to make getting your goals the easiest and swiftest. It isn’t fantasy, sitting in your room , thinking and visualizing ‘money rains down on me’. It is thinking, ‘I can easily and quickly make all the money I need.’

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

‘I have all the resources. I am rich in many ways.’ Then going and doing whatever you need to in order to make the money honestly. Positive thinking means your attitude is in place and your feel positive.  You feel unstoppable and invincible.

You feel you can do it. ‘To enjoy enduring success one must travel a little in advance of the world.’ You are mentally and emotionally prepared and equipped to handle whatever challenges come your way. You are mentally, emotionally and behaviorally resourceful.

Your Mind Is Powerful – Train It To See Good In Every Situation

You thoughts are ‘I can do it’ thoughts. You don’t win a game thinking, ‘crap I am going to lose. I am a loser’. You have a better chance succeeding thinking the thoughts of a champion. Thought leads to feelings and feelings lead to actions. Actions lead to habits.

Habits lead to results. We all have success habits and unsuccessful habits. We want and need to develop more success habits than unsuccessful habits. Success habits are learning and doing, and creating a positive means to accomplish your goal.

Nothing Changes Until You Change – Then Everything Changes

Unsuccessful habits are doubt, fear, worry, procrastination, fanciful thinking, laziness. In order to get to Paris you must take the steps necessary. First and foremost you must believe you can and that you will.  Then you do those things that get you closer and closer.

Never let anyone tell you positive thinking isn’t important. It is vitally important. It is the first step in getting your dreams and desires. You must know what you want and you must know that you can achieve it. If you can conceive it and believe it, it can be yours.

Determine How You Are Going To Live Your Life – Decide Now

It can be yours BECAUSE you make it happen. You are an unstoppable force that gets your goals. Your mind and emotions and behaviors and habits are all aligned to get successful results. Positive thinking IS necessary to win. Never think otherwise.

Those who say it isn’t either don’t understand what it is or have another agenda. It is an inner game, after all. From within to without. Our results begin with our thoughts. Make certain you are thinking powerfully and productively and that you take action.

Don’t Make Excuses – Make Results – Winning Is A Habit

To know and not to do is to not know. To know and not apply the knowledge is fruitless. To get what you want you must take action steps. You can’t sit in your room and teleport yourself to Paris but you can take action steps to actually get there. Think it and DO it!

You Never Succeed By Repeating Your Failures: Change This Today!

“You want things to be different. You want it to get better.  How do you make the changes? What do you first do?  How do you change habits? How do you gain control over your thoughts? You do it through awareness. Awareness is the first step of the process.

First, you must become aware of the old conditioning, the old negativity, and recognize while you are in the midst of it. If you don’t know when you are engaged in an old, less than glorious, or destructive pattern, you won’t be able to alter it.

Eventually, you will notice when it engages earlier. You will become more aware as it initiates so you can take control and shift it over to the new positive thinking. As you do this you free yourself from the old conditioning and replace it with the new habits you desire.

Your Life Won’t Change Unless You Change What You Do Daily

Awareness. It works like this. If you want to end anger, fear or negative self talk, anything, you change how you respond to it after you notice it. Most people do what they don’t want to and when they realize it feel bad, criticize themselves and feel worse. They shame.

Sadly, that doesn’t work to change it. What you do instead is, after the fact, you celebrate that you noticed you did the old behavior. You pat yourself on the back. You embrace yourself for becoming aware. You stop criticizing the old behavior and appreciate the awareness.

Your changes won’t happen overnight but through time. You didn’t become the age you are overnight. It took time. This won’t take as long but it is a process. Each time, every tim, you notice the  less than glorious thinking or behaviors note it on paper. Keep track.

Awareness Is The First Step To Change – Apply What You Learn

Soon you will notice it while it is going on. You will notice it earlier and earlier. When you accept it and appreciate yourself you train yourself to notice what you want to notice. You are not conflicted, nor divided. You do not perpetuate the old as you had been.

This is the first part of the process. You become aware and you notate each time it occurs. You actually stop and put down a hashmark or some notation that works for you. It requires that you discipline yourself to do this. If you want it enough, you’ll do it.

A powerful way to change your thinking from less than glorious to more glorious is to keep a diary. Keep a diary of every negative thought you think. Whenever you complain or blame jot it down. Whenever you make an excuse jot it down. Keep track!

The Secret Of Success Is In Your Daily Routine And Habits

Keep an on going track of all the negative or less than glorious thoughts you think. Every time you blame god, the universe, the weather, the government, traffic, your boss, spouse, kids, neighbors, dog or alarm clock stop and notate that you are thinking negative.

Stop, then switch it to a positive thought. Change it. Stop complaining. Start accepting responsibility for your life whether directly responsible or not. Assume ALL responsibility. If you want to change your life you have to change what you think and do.

For example, you discover yourself thinking, or saying out loud to yourself or others, ‘it is hard to make money in this economy’, or ‘I’m late because there was too much traffic on the road this morning’, or ‘you can’t be happy all the time’. Any less than glorious statement.

Stop Expecting Things And Others To Change – You Go First

Stop, note it and think or say, ‘it isn’t the economy that determines my wealth it is me. I create the exact amount of money I want.’ or something positive to that effect. ‘I was late because I didn’t get on the road early enough. I was late because I was late.’ Accept it.

You can affirm, ‘I will start earlier’, or ‘I can learn to be on time’, or ‘I accept responsibility for being on time’, or ‘I am always on time’, or ‘if it is to be it is up to me’. What it is that you desire to be is how you phrase your positive declaration. Affirm what you want.

“I can be happy because I choose to be happy. Happiness is a choice’. Switch the old thought out for something positive and more productive. Accept responsibility for everything. When you accept 100% responsibility for EVERYTHING that happens, things change.

Change Brings Opportunity – Opportunity Brings Change

All negative thoughts, excuses, complaints and blames are negative declarations. They are negative affirmations. They keep you stuck in old chronic thinking. All worry is negative planning for the future. Stop! Become aware and change your thinking. Take charge.

When you do you learn a great and powerful lesson to apply everywhere. You learn that if you created your present, less than desirable circumstances, you can uncreate them. You can’t do that if you keep living as a victim of circumstances.

You need to live as a victor. You need to dictate the circumstances and not be governed by them. Champions don’t blame others or the world. They know if they are going to prevail and remain a champion it is completely up to them. Their mindset is a winning mindset.

Awareness Allows You To Get Outside Your Mind And Observe It

You need to manage and control your thoughts and not be run  by old chronic negative conditioning. It is time you put yourself in the driver’s seat of your mind and your life. You can create something new and better. It begins with awareness.

It begins noticing how often you give away your power. You do it each time you make an excuse, ‘the traffic was heavy’, ‘the dog ate my homework’ You usurp your own power and authority by complaining and blaming. Claim it back. Notice when you do it.

Notice how often you do it. Keep track in your diary. Doing this will draw you attention to it. As you notice and catch yourself again and again, AND then shift the negative thought, or talk, to a positive statement, you will slip up less and less. You will transform!

We Do Not See Things As They Are – We See Things As We Are

Fewer and fewer times will you blame and excuse. More and more often you will catch it and shift it to the positive and productive. You will continue to notice sooner and sooner. You keep shifting your attention to the positive until you build a positive new success habit.

Once it is a habit it will work reliably and automatically. You will find yourself thinking more powerfully positive as a result. All of your life can change as you change your thinking. Just as a ripple moves outward and grows bigger and affects more so do your thoughts.

Change your thoughts and your feelings change. With new thought and feeling your actions become positively inspired. As you continue to act more positively you develop new success habits which in turn can lead to new, positive results. Your life improves. Get it?

Being Aware Isn’t The Absence Of Mistakes But Correcting Them

The more you do it the easier it is to do and the better results you get. It begins by developing your awareness of the old triggers and gently, lovingly, replacing them. Accept, allow, adapt and adopt a new way of being.  You appreciate, notate, and shift to the positive.

Awareness grows the more it is exercised. You abilities do so, too. Keep at it. Commit to the process and you will begin to see improvement. Many people give up before they succeed. Stop, be different. Don’t be one of the crowd. Learn to be a victor instead.

Become a champion! It isn’t always easy but it isn’t as hard as people ‘think’ it will be. It is simple to make changes. You plant seeds, nurture them and they grow. One day you reap the benefits. Be glad. Be eager, be excited. Practice gratitude along the way. Appreciate and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

“How do we change ourselves? How do we change the world around us? What are we to do to make a real difference for ourselves and others? This world seems to be in turmoil, perhaps you are too? What can be done?  Become more aware. That is the first step.

Notice when your thinking holds you back. Pay attention when you think and feel less than glorious about anything. Learn to control your own thought process and aim it positively towards positive change. Become a beacon of light to yourself and others. Transform!

Worrying Does Not Empty Tomorrow Of Its Troubles …

When you feel less than glorious it is an indication, an alert signal, to pay attention to what is going on inside you. Many simply feel bad and then think worse thoughts. These moments are an OPPORTUNITY to change your thoughts not succumb to them.

Throughout this blog I have devoted much discussion to how to do this. Thought leaders new and old have too. Study and apply these principles and practices to take control of your own thinking. Change your thinking and you change your life. Begin now.

If you haven’t already. The key to change is to start changing and not to wait. Don’t try to figure it out in advance. That only delays it. Begin to take positive steps in the direction you want to go. Then keep moving forward bit by bit. This is important to understand.

… Worrying  Empties Today Of Its Strength – End Worry

You  go as far as you can see and when you get there you will see farther. Edison didn’t know how to make a lightbulb until after he succeeded. Until then he tried many different things. He learned from each and kept going because he knew his purpose.

Edison wanted to light the planet with electric light. The Wright Brothers wanted to fly. Ford wanted to make autos affordable. Martin Luther King and Gandhi wanted to unite people. Purpose drives the show. Be clear on the purpose! Believe you can succeed.

Then do whatever you have to positively to make it happen. Never give up. You may fail many times. Difficulty abounds. But keep heading in the direction that you want. Gandhi managed to do it and captured the imagination of two hundred million people.

Change You May Lose Something Good But Gain Something Better

We can do it. We may be out monied, out powered, out everything but if we want it enough we will find a way. Small groups have made an incredible difference. There is an awesome power of one AND an even more awesome power of the many all of one mind.

The experts of the day always say things can’t be done. ‘If man were meant to fly god would have provided wings!’ The public didn’t see any need for electric light when they had oil lamps nor did they want electric horses when they had real live ones.

After succeeding in their endeavors these innovators had to market their ideas to others. The world wasn’t waiting and inviting these changes. They had to be convinced it was a good idea and that they would benefit. Resistance, inertia, always needs to be overcome.

Change – Will It Be Easy – Nope – Worth It – Absolutely – Change

Gandhi united the people’s minds for the cause. It can be done. It can be done with positive thought, positive feelings, energy and positive behavior. We can make profound personal changes and profound world changes when we are convinced we can. Faith! Have faith!

We must believe we can. We must be driven to one day embrace the changes we now want. If we don’t believe it is possible we will never attempt it. If we don’t do anything we won’t influence the results. We will endure whatever results there are. Change is in our hands!

If you want to change the world it begins at home. It begins with you. Then your family, friends, neighborhood, community and more. It starts in one small place, as a ripple does, and radiates outward. YOU can positively influence yourself and your life. Yes, you and I can!

To Light A Million Candles From Just One Yours Must Be Lit First

We all can. We need to come together to do it. We need to create a massive mastermind whose purpose is harmony, love, peace,  and positivity. If that seems daunting we need to change our attitude about it. We attract everything we think and feel.

If we fear, doubt, hate and are negative we get more of the same. To live a different reality we must conceive it, have a vision, and a purpose. We must believe we can and act in accord with our higher positive principles and then we can achieve it. We CAN do it!

It is up to each of us. We need to unite within ourselves and align ourselves congruently to attract and create our dreams. We need to do the same as people. The chaos experienced in the world may be a signal to each of us about what we can do. It can be and is a blessing.

If You Can’t Change It Then Change The Way You Think About It 

As more people wake up a new dawn is possible. It may not happen overnight because evolution takes time. Hopefully, we evolve ourselves into a more loving, peaceful, accepting people and enjoy this amazing world in ways that surpass our present imagination.

How do we change? How do we change the world. Each of use transforms ourself to live the life we can. We transform ourselves to become a powerful force for positive change. We determine to clean up our own act and let our light shine for others to see.

We stop yelling and fighting and trying to convert people to our way of thinking and being. Instead we live wonderfully, peacefully, lovingly and positively and live as an example. We invite but don’t force. We respond and don’t react or attack.

Use Your Smile To Change The World – Everyday An Opportunity

We get busy living the good life and have fun. We stay focused on what is good and what is important. We don’t waste time in frivolous, less than glorious arguments and distractions. We aim our powerful resources like a laser beam toward positive outcomes.

How do we do this? Dream big. Delight in all. Use everything as a learning opportunity. Learn from it. Open up. Accept, allow and receive. Become generous givers and excellent receivers. Follow the golden rule and go the extra mile in helping benefit others.

Consider everything a blessing and opportunity to grow from. Obstacles and challenges are also causes for celebration. The rose plant comes with thorns. Understand the way of the universe. All IS divine.  Be grateful always and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Stop Being So Angry! Don’t Lower Your Standards

“People seem tired and worn out. There is much intolerance, distrust, name calling and hate. We seem to ‘declare war’ on all our problems and others we don’t like. None of it helps to feel better or live better lives. We do much harm to ourselves by being angry.

Some find a temporary relief in putting another person down. Ego may derive some pleasure. It isn’t lasting. It adds not one wit to anything of value. It only seeks to level another or to cause  injury so one can feel they have the upper hand or are justified.

If you are wronged trying to get back at the person who wronged you doesn’t help. Getting really mad doesn’t change the situation. It is only a reaction to it.  Most likely, an over-reaction. It does nothing to change anything. You can’t change things after the fact.

Forgiveness Isn’t Something We Do For Other People …

It is as it is. Accept it. Learn from it and go on. The higher value and benefit would be to use it to become a better person yourself. Use it to gain awareness, understanding, tolerance and acceptance. Use the hurt and injustice to become more loving and compassionate.

Let go of anger and the tendency to fight back. Learn NOT to retaliate. Vow to not hurt yourself and others. Stop! Let go, become aware. Understand that hate only injures the person who hates. Remember the famous quote attributed to the Buddha:

‘Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.’ There is a fake, but meaningful, Buddha quote. ‘Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting it to harm the other person.’

Forgiveness Is Something We Do For Ourselves To Move On

The damage done to you is poorer mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. It takes its toll on YOU. Let it go! Be free. Accept the hurt and anguish then be done with it. Let it go! To forgive is one of the highest value moves you can make. To forgive IS divine!

To truly forgive ends it for you. The other person may still have to deal with or live with the consequences of their actions but YOU are free once you let go. Why not be desire to free instead of enslaved to negative feelings? Why stoop to the low standards of others?

Why not refuse to play that game at all and live by a higher ideal? You get hooked and hurt when you play at a lower level. Revenge, an eye for an eye, is getting hooked. Instead, be free. Live and be an example of the best not the worst. Most, seem to prefer, to get back.

Sometimes The Hardest Thing And The Right Thing Are The Same

It seems to be a problem for many people living today. They resort to the lowest form of behavior. It is sad. Don’t be a mindless follower and hate back because someone hates you! Be free. Think and act for yourself! Be independent and intelligent! Rise above it.

Determine that you will be a role model. Live from higher values. Take the high road, the road LESS traveled. Raise your consciousness and you may help others raise theirs. Don’t participate in all the negativity! Choose to live free from divisiveness; free from discord.

Become grateful. The disappointment, the hardships, the hate and anger that you might face alone, and from others, CAN be a blessing if you learn to look for it. It can be a valuable lesson you might not otherwise receive. Learn, allow and accept, be open to a new way.

Give Yourself Permission To Feel Anger, Resentment And Pain …

An incredible thing happens when you do. You neurology opens up. You become bigger than the problems. You can actually feel it. That which used to hook you no longer does. You discover you aren’t upset by that which used to really burn you. You get it. It is okay.

You can reframe it. You can find the learning and lesson in it. You can act from inspired thought and feeling instead of react from anger and hostility. You can live at peace and at one with yourself, AND with others. You understand there is value in everything, everyone.
