How To Make The Changes You Haven’t Been Getting

“Life not going the way you hoped? You think you are doing everything right, everything you can do, but things turn sour. What is going on with that? Can you get what you want without all the drama and upheavals?  Responsibility is most likely the issue.

In today’s age, few people seem to want to take responsibility for anything. Blaming and accusing others while making excuses for ourselves seems to rule. ‘I wasn’t late. It was the traffic!’ ‘It isn’t my fault. My parents never taught me.’ ‘Damn corporations!’ Get it?

We have a tendency to shift the responsibility away from ourselves. We don’t hold ourselves accountable. If we really want to change and create the best life ever, this is an important area to begin to make some changes in. Each of us needs to live to a higher standard.

Distance Yourself From Negativity And Beautiful Things Happen 

IF things aren’t going the way you hope, then the responsible thing to do is to accept 100% responsibility for any, and all, results you are getting, or not getting. When things go bad it is time to reflect on our thoughts and behaviors, not accuse and blame others. Reflect!

If things aren’t going the way that you hope, or the way that you would like them to, STOP and look at what you were vibrating. What are you thinking and feeling? What are your predominant thoughts in or outside of your awareness? Analyze your thoughts and feelings.

Look to yourself so you can change yourself, and your thoughts and your feelings. Stop blaming outer circumstances and others. Change your thoughts, your feelings and your actions. Accept responsibility and become accountable for what you do, or don’t do. Get it?

Either You Run The Day Or The Day Runs You

It is all on you. By deciding to be accountable you put yourself in the driver’s seat. You take charge. Your circumstance isn’t up to, or on, anyone or anything else. It is all completely up to you. Whether you do it, or not. Whether you make it happen, or not. It is all your doing.

Yes, many people don’t want to accept that. They haven’t lived that way, so making this change seems difficult. That’s right, it SEEMS difficult. Once you begin the process, it gets easier and easier. It is mental conditioning. Like anything else, it gets easier as you do it.

Consider this: for years and years and years you have lived habitual, chronic, less than glorious, limited thinking and beliefs, feelings and actions. Then you discover the Law Of Attraction and positive thinking and think everything will magically change. You wish it.

All Things Are Difficult Before They Are Easy 

You hope that spending 10 minutes, or so, each day thinking positive about what you want, will change everything. You do it for awhile but at the first speed bump, if you are like many, throw in the towel. They give up. They blame it and claim it didn’t work. Get it? Do you?

That is wishful thinking. The TRUTH is, it requires a reconditioning of your thinking. How quickly things change is up to you. It could happen almost instantaneously. Usually, it requires more time. Just as planting a seed takes time to develop and grow and blossom.

The promise of the Law Of Attraction is that the PREDOMINANT thought in your mind, is what you will make happen. It is what you are thinking about most often that you become, do and have. You become what you think about most frequently. Get it? Do you?

What You Think About Most Often You Become

What are your most often thoughts? What do you spend most of your time attending to? Is what you want a burning desire? Is it an obsession? Are you mostly concentrating on the good you desire and imagining how good it feels to have that right now, or not?

IF, most of the time, you’re thinking distractions, petty annoyances; the traffic, weather, gossip, blaming government, others. the media, and the weather, THEN you are spending your time with less than glorious elements, negative and wasted thoughts. Its your time!

If you are noticing the distance between where you are and what you want, you are focused on the lack, and on not having it. You are concentrated on how you don’t have what you wanted; how far a distance it is, until you get there. So that’s what continue to create. 

Feelings Are The Driver – You Choose What To Feel – Feel Great

Get it? It is all up to you, not the environment or others, to make happen what you want to make happen. I’ll share more next blog but for now get used to the idea of taking 100% responsibility for everything in your life, good or bad. That decision is life changing!

Everything can instantly change the moment you make a powerful decision to take charge. I don’t mean suddenly rainbows and fairy dust appear. I mean you assume control of your life and from that starting point you are ABLE to make changes you weren’t before.

When you get that it is you doing it, everything becomes different. As long as others do it to you, you are a victim. You are tossed around like a rudderless, and powerless, boat on the sea. You need to operate from your own strength and power. When you do, everything does begin to change! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Break A Board Or Brick With Your Mind!

“When a martial artist focuses on breaking a board or a brick with their hand they have a special focus. They do not focus on their hand hitting the block because that would hurt. Instead they focus on where their hand is after it goes through the object. Important note!

In their mind they imagine the end result. Their hand has passed through the board or brick successfully. Their hand is in the finished position, complete and intact. They are successful.  They imagine this while facing the obstacle. They visualize being successful first!

Prior to breaking the board or brick they see it in their mind, FIRST. They imagine succeeding while looking directly at the ‘impenetrable’ object. They face the solid obstacle and they manage their fear and their doubts. They take charge and manage their emotional state.

Those Who Break Through Barriers Are Those Who Ignore Limits 

They believe, with certainty, they will succeed and overcome. They will be successful. They must believe this or they will stop the moment they hit the object and possibly hurt their hand. They manage their mindset, their emotions, their fears and their doubts.

They visualize succeeding! When ready they take full action.  When finished they celebrate their success in reality. Get it? This is what we do when we manifest. This is how we create our future. We see it now. We manage our state and we take action. Get it? Do you?

They harness and manage all their energy and resources. They are concentrated. They are deliberate. They are intentional. They have set an intention to successfully break through the brick. Energy flows where attention goes. Their energy goes to beyond the brick.

Life Has No Limitations Except The Ones You Make And Believe

They don’t put their energy into the obstacle but in going through the obstacle safely, and successfully. They know in advance they will prevail, they will succeed. Their energy is focused on what they can do and not on what they can’t do or how hard it will be. Get it?

You can learn to do this too. You don’t have to break boards or bricks but you can smash through any obstacle that has held you back and you can make your dreams come true. You can learn to succeed at anything. You can become happier, healthier and wealthier.

Would you like to? Say ‘yes’ if this is true for you! It requires learning new habits. It requires dedication and mental and emotional conditioning. I will help you. It requires study and preparation and taking action. Mindset and action are required. Prepare and do! Meanwhile, be grateful and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

When Things Are Tough Stop Being A Crap Magnet!

When things are toughest, when the crap hits the fan what is one to do? Many buckle, cave and give in. They whine, complain, excuse and blame self, others, events and circumstances. While comforted by this negative, non-supportive habit, it does nothing to help.

Stop the whining and complaining. Stop finger pointing. It doesn’t change things.  The attitude that there are outer circumstances, forces, events or people who prevent you from being who you want or getting ahead doesn’t help you in the least,

Nor does it support you changing or circumstances changing. For you or the outer world to change you must FIRST change yourslef on the inside. The right mindset, the right thoughts and beliefs and feelings are crucial. Without these you get almost nowhere.

You Get What You Focus On – Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

Anyone who has changed, without exception, has either deliberately or inadvertently changed their mindset from one of negativity and failure to one of positivity, happiness and success. Without exception! This IS what you must do. From within to without it goes.

You must hope and envision a better day to bring it about. To give in to ‘big corruption’ or outer influences, and assume there will never be a change, assures you there won’t be. Keep the faith that it can and will always work out for the best. Hope and believe! You must!

Do whatever it takes positively to bring change about. This is the path. Have faith. Be optimistic. Share the positive vibes and limit the negative ones. Create more positivity than negativity. You know the analogy, darkness flees when the light is turned on. Turn yours on!

Stop Being A Crap Magnet – Create And Attract Positive Vibes

Decide to stop focusing on what is wrong. Start focusing on the solutions and what you want instead. Focus on the good. Find it no matter how difficult. Focus on what you can and do appreciate. Look for the blessings! Be grateful. Feel the gratitude fully! Believe you can and will bring about a better day and a better world. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What And Who Determines Your Success? The Bad And Good News

“The great problem for most people is they believe they’re victims of circumstance, events and other people; others and circumstances determine whether they, the individual, rise or fall, succeed or fail. They believe ‘something else’ is responsible, not them. Do you?

It can be blatant or quite subtle. I overheard someone the other day say, what a positive thinker they were, but how the economic downturn caused them to go under. On and on this person went. Is this an accurate description of reality? Perhaps, but perhaps not.

If you believe others and circumstances are responsible for you then, yes, to some degree it is accurate. Your beliefs shape your reality. However, it’s more likely that these outer forces influence you, and your decision, but don’t cause you to fail or succeed.

You Are Unstoppable When You Believe In Yourself

What you do determines whether you succeed or fail. Thinking outer forces control you is believing in magic and fantasy. If you believe outer forces dictate your fate then you have no choice, you are predestined or merely a puppet. Something else is in charge.

Do you get this? Hey, a bridge can be out, and you must take detour, that is an influence. Whether you continue to your destination is up to you, not the bridge. The weather can be bad. You might be delayed. Whether or not you continue on eventually, is up to you.

The economic situation can change. You could lose everything. Many do. Many become rich during the worst of times. What you do in that situation is up to you. Your life partner can leave you. How you continue on, is up to you. Yes, or circumstances can influence.

Don’t Be Pushed By Your Problems Be Lead By Your Dreams

What each of us, needs to cultivate is the belief that you are powerful. You have the ability and inner resources, even if hidden, to make your dreams come true. If you somehow, don’t have the inner resources, you can learn to  develop them, so you can succeed.

Believe in yourself more than outer influences. Those who do make their way to success and happiness. They don’t let anything or anyone rain on their parade. They keep their attention, and intensity, on where they want to go and, believe and, work to get there.

They don’t give up. Those who throw in the towel or quit don’t cross the finish line. Realize you are in a process of becoming. You are in a process of learning. You are in a process of creating your path. You are in the process of gathering your resources and making it happen.

Follow Your Dreams – Believe In Yourself – Never Give Up – Do It

Everything I have shared with you in these daily blogs helps you to understand and cultivate the beliefs and everything you need. My recent videos and audios, and workshops for decades, have been designed to assist you in making your life the way you want it.

When you apply, these tried and true principles and approaches, handed down from ancient times to present, backed up by research and the success of countless hundreds of thousand who have used them to succeed, YOU can too. Whether you do, or not, is up to you.

To know and not to do, is to not know. If you don’t consistently do what can help you to be better and make your dreams come true, don’t complain. Complaining, whining, excusing and blaming others and yourself is pointless and detrimental. It doesn’t help anyone.

Your Mind Believes What You Feed It – Feed It Positive Thoughts

Dedicate yourself to becoming the best. Do, at the very least, a little each day, and you will get there much quicker than doing nothing at all. Do you get this? The more you do, the more you become capable of doing. Engage. Plug in ! Do it. Cultivate the beliefs and attitudes.

Develop the mindset that gives you the edge. When you think and feel you are successful, no matter what, then you can be. Mindset first! Practice gratitude and appreciation. When you feel your best you bring about the best. Mindset first! Get it? If you do, then take charge. Take action and celebrate everything! Rex Sikes

Your Answer To This Question Will Determine If You Can Succeed

Most people claim they are ready and willing to be happy and succeed. Most may even claim they have had enough of life the way it has been and they want it to be different. They will do anything to get out of debt, depression, anxiety and fear. BUT will they?

Will you? What most people claim and what most people do are  worlds apart. The honest answer to my question can determine the likelihood of whether or not you change AND whether you change easily. You can’t bullshit a bullshitter. So be true to yourself.

That is the most difficult thing to do, sometimes. If you really want to change you must face certain things. Here is the question: How willing are you to change? That is it. What is your willingness to change quotient. Are you actually willing to change your life?

If You Want Things To Change – You Have To Change

Okay, I asked the same question three different ways. So what is your answer? Many people say they will do anything to change, but they won’t. What about you? If you truly want your life to change you must change some things in your life. You can’t remain the same!

If you always do what you have always done, you will always get the same results. You will continue to get what you have always got. Get it? Unless you are willing to change, and actually change things, everything remains the same. You need to learn new habits. So…..

How willing are you to change? How much money will you spend? I bet some went, ‘Whoa, money! I’m not going to spend money? This will cost me? I can’t afford much. Do you know how much debt I have? It is always about money!’ Or some variation. Right. Did you?

If You Want Things To Be Better – You Have To Be Better

It always comes down to money, doesn’t it? Well, yes and no. How much time are you willing to dedicate? Someone just thought, ‘I have no time as it is!’ Or some variation. What are you willing to give up or go without? Would you give up your favorite TV show?

Would you go without your favorite show, or past time, for a year, if it meant you could get your goals and live your dream life? Would you give up junk food;  Alcohol; Tennis: Golf; Poker; Whatever it is? What are you willing to give in exchange for changing your life?

People say they are willing but, more frequently, do nothing to change. Would you read positive, books and articles and blogs for an hour each day? Would you for 30 minutes? 5 minutes? What are you willing to do? Would you listen to inspirational audios? Well?

If You want To Have More – You Have To Become More

How about you take a seminar or program. Attend a learning event or workshop. Would you commit to a weekly, or monthly, meeting? What will you do to change? The bottom line is your change IS going to cost you something! Either money, time, energy or habits.

Either you pay the price or you don’t change. Get it? You can’t do everything the same way you always have and expect things to be different. That is truly insane! Right? That IS the definition of insanity. To be different you must do things differently! Get it?

So how willing are you to do whatever it takes to get what you want? That is the question. How willing are you to change? What is your willingness? If you say you are very willing then prove it to yourself. Take some immediate action in that direction. Don’t wait. Do it.

Your Life Is A Reflection Of Your Thoughts and Feelings – Mindset

If you wait, you won’t! If you have to think about it, you won’t. Old habits die hard. Do it right now. Do it within 24 hours. That way you convince your brain you are serious about changing. Take action in the direction of the changes you want. Don’t let it go or it goes away.

People give lip service to change but make all manner of excuses. They whine, complain, and blame. They say, ‘If you only knew how hard it is…’ Blah blah blah. Anyone can make an excuse. If the first thing that goes off in your head is one, learn to change that. Do it!

You need to develop automatic, reliable, supportive thought, feeling and behavior habits, that are aligned, to help you get yourself what you want in life. We all have many that distract and keep us limited, weak, angry, doubtful and fearful. We need to change these.

So What Positive Good Will You Do To Change Your Life

When you shift from the less than supportive habits to the more supportive ones sometimes there is inertia to overcome. ‘Old habits die hard’. Still, we can change. Sometimes in some time. Sometimes instantly. But only if you are willing, can it happen. Are you willing?

How willing are you to change things, so that you transform your life for the better. I show you how in these blog pages every day. There are tips and suggestions, powerful principles and practices. Do you use and apply them? Do you go back and study these blog posts?

What do you do to make you, and your life, better? To develop a new habit you must consistently, correctly, apply yourself. That means daily, even numerous times during the day. So how willing are you to change? How committed? Be honest. Be true to yourself.

How To Create: Do What You Can Then Let It Happen

“Mindset is everything. Attitude is everything. What mindset and attitude do you need to have, and adhere to, to make your dreams come true?  What should you think, feel and do to have the career, the life, the things you want? What can you do?

Keep the faith. Believe in yourself and your future. If you don’t yet, and you doubt, you must learn how to manage your thoughts and feelings, take control of your mind and thoughts, and develop your belief muscle. Like any other muscle, it grows strong with use.

People want things. If it is tough getting them, they give up. Many of us have grown up coddled and  enabled in ‘not’ doing positive things for ourselves.  We grew up being told we, ‘have to work hard’ and that, ‘life is tough and not fair’ and that, ‘few really get ahead’.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

We have been deceived. It is far better to believe that you can learn how to do almost anything. You can! If you learn how to manage your thoughts and feelings, you can become unstoppable. If you learn how to, you can create the future you want. You can and will.

If you believe in yourself and you expect unexpected good to come your way, you can do almost anything you want. You can write your own ticket because you are making it happen. It is not happening to you or for you. Faith comes from doing and from repetition.

Affirm, and visualize. Chant your mantras daily. See your future in your mind. You will develop the faith habit if you continue to do it, repeatedly, for long enough. Believe in yourself. Develop unshakeable, unstoppable, belief in yourself. Learn to be competent.

Accept What Is – Let Go Of What Was – Have Faith What Will Be

Learn how to do what you want to do. Invest in yourself. Believe you will have everything when you need it, in its perfect time. It will unfold as it will, when it will. You plant the seed, tend to it, nurture it and let nature do it’s part. You do yours. Nature does hers.

Let go and let god, the universe or whatever you want to believe it is. Develop your mindset. Develop powerful feelings. Take appropriate, inspired action. Believe you can make it happen. Let go and get out of your way. Allow the fruits of your labor to unfold as they will.

Believe. Be grateful. Express your thanks and gratitude. Have fun. Delight. Enjoy.  Stay positive. Stay optimistic. Feel wonderful. Vibrate high. Where your attention goes, energy flows. Make it happen. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How You Can Get Good At Anything

“Do you have to be born talented or can you develop it? How do you get good at acting? How about golf, swimming, juggling or cooking? How do you get good at anything? What is it that you must do to become the best? How does one master their skills? Here is how.

Remember the famous question, ‘how do you get to Carnegie Hall?’ The answer, ‘practice, practice, practice.’ You can develop or learn any new habit through correct repetition, consistently, over a long enough period of time. You aren’t born with it but you develop it.

Any skill! Mental, emotional, or physical can be wired in at the neurological level through this method. You can replace any old, non-supportive habit with a new positive supportive habit by conditioning yourself this way.

Any Skill You Wish To Learn And Master You Can If You Practice

Mastery may differ from person to person, but you can become your personal best, if you are willing to do what it takes. Think about it. And yes, that too is the answer. Mindset first! Get your thoughts right, feelings will follow and then your actions leading to results.

The more you practice the better you become. The same is true about creating and attracting. Practice creating. Practice believing. Practice making things happen and you get better at it. Start small and build up, as you would with any skill. Think about this!

It is true AND it is up to you! Do it and you will get better. Begin now. Don’t wait. Practice gratitude! Practice feeling marvelous! Practice expressing it. Practice communicating well with others. Practice supporting others and letting them support you. Practice solving problems. Practice unconditional love and acceptance. Practice celebrating everything!” Rex Sikes

The Secret To Transforming Your Problems Into Opportunities

“When times are difficult many people struggle with fear and worry. They imagine dastardly, negative scenarios, again and again, in their head. There is a way to move past this and get relief. Instead of derailing oneself, there is a means of getting back on track.

When troubled by people, events and circumstances, one of the useful things you can do is ask yourself, ‘What is the worst that can happen?’ Granted this sounds like a question you might want to avoid but it is important to consider. ‘What is the worst’?

Why on earth do you want to ask that? Because most people already see bad things. They imagine the world crumbling around them. What they don’t see is the ultimate bad thing. The reason you want to this is because, typically, the worst thing never, ever happens.

Don’t Let What You Fear Interfere With What You Are Able To Do

It just doesn’t. They simply live in worry and fear. They perpetuate the difficulties by focusing on them. Worry is actually negative programming. People program their minds. The more you worry and fear the more likely you are to bring those things about. Quit it!

Someone once said, everyone should go through bankruptcy. Again, why on earth wish this for anyone? Because, when you go through it you realize life isn’t over. People who are bankrupt still have a place to live, a car to drive, places to go, things to do and enjoy. They do!

It isn’t over! WE tend to think it will be, but it isn’t. I’ve had numerous friends go bankrupt and while not pleasant always, their lives did not change much. There may be some exceptions. For most who go through it, they  learn it is not as bad as thought, prior to it.

There Aren’t Obstacles In Your Path – Obstacles Are The Path 

When you deliberately ask, ‘what is the worst that can happen’ usually, you discover whatever ‘the very worst thing is’ you still survive. You are still okay, and you can, if you worked at it, handle it. Life isn’t over because of your imagined fears and worries.

They loom larger in the mind when not confronted. Once confronted the sting is gone. YOU took out the sting. You reduced the mountain to a mole hill. NOW You can break the problem down into bite size, manageable, steps or tasks, you can more easily and readily resolve.

It is the imagination running wild that is the difficulty. Gain control. Reign it in and you can again be on your way to being more productive and happy. You can resolve most any problem this way. Most of us, fear things that will never, ever happen. Stop it. Let go.

Strength Comes From Overcoming You Worries And Fears

Take control of your thoughts. Then you take control of your feelings. Yes, there are other things you may also do. I have discussed these in previous blogs. Read through and find them. I could share where but it is good to study and reread. It benefits.

Anytime confronted by problems consider them blessings and be grateful. This powerfully transforms them quite quickly. You don’t fear or worry about blessings and good things do you? Problems are their to teach you something and for you to discover what that is.

They are roadblocks slowing you down, to get your attention, so you can learn to be a better you. Be grateful. Be thankful. Feel truly blessed. Inside the obstacle is the seed of opportunity. You may have to look to find it, but that is why the obstacle is there. Trust. Let go. Enjoy. Delight. Feel blessed. Everything transforms when you celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Be Careful Group Think Can Kill Us

“It is the stories we tell ourselves, about ourselves, others, circumstances, events and the world, that make up our reality. We have back stories, we continually remind ourselves of, when we interact with others. We create the outer by repeating the inner.

Our stories, ‘our history’ have great affect on us as individuals and as a collective consciousness. There is no escaping the affect of these stories, these versions, we adhere to. We make reality conform to what we think and believe it is, by the decisions we make.

We create our reality every moment. We choose.  Sure, the outer world influences us, but it is our reactions  or responses that determine the outcomes we get. We create reality. Consider, mob mentality. Something happens, people erupt. They react. Even kill.

Believe In The Beauty Of Your Dreams And You’ll Own The Future

They act of one accord. They create the continued circumstances or events. Some people get swept up with out even, ever, knowing why. People can get caught up! There is group think. It can work for or against us. Be careful. We need to seek accurate versions.

We believe what we are told, what we have read, what is passed down, often without question or investigation. We believe our pundits and leaders; just because. We believe what we tell ourselves because we have repeated it forever, without investigating it.

We make up our individual and collective conscious realities by what we believe and whom we associate with. We believe opinions, mistaking these as fact. It is difficult to gain access to accurate information, whether personal or otherwise. Still, we must seek to.

Once Your Mindset Changes Everything On The Outside Changes

We create our outer world by how we imagine it. We create it by whom we agree with, about it. Often, these agreements are about how we are limited, or at the affect of circumstances, god, powers, weather, economy, traffic, other races and religions and more.

We look for evidence that corroborates what we already think. Rarely, do we look for counter-examples or versions, or evidence that would provide a different way of thinking because we don’t like to be wrong. We avoid Cognitive Dissonance. We must feel right!

If you want it to be otherwise. If you want it to be different. If you want to begin creating more of what you want and less of what you don’t want, you need to decide to begin. You need to choose to make it different. You need to develop your mindset and act differently.

Once You Awaken You’ll Have No Interest In Judging Those Asleep

To start, you need to refuse to accept those thoughts that don’t support you positively in accomplishing what you want. You need to turn away from them and toward those positive, optimistic thoughts that get you closer to what you want. It is deliberate thinking.

Don’t fight the old thoughts. Let them go. Shift, give your attention to new thoughts. You only create more of what you have had when you fight the old. What you resist, persists. To change it, you need to shift away from it. Energy flows where your attention goes.

Repeat these new thoughts as affirmations. This is important! Repetition is how we create habit. To develop new positive, powerful thought habits that assist you in making the results you want a reality, you must think differently from the past. Think new!

Assumptions Are Dangerous Especially When Made In Anger

If you want your life and world to  be different, begin by making it different within you. Start telling yourself different stories. Repeat new, positive stories about how you are creating your world each moment. Stop telling victim stories. Stop participating in the old.

Each of us can transform, how we think and act, on an individual level, in our daily lives. We can affect the world at large. If we hold positive beliefs and expectations, we CAN make a difference. If we don’t buy into ‘negative group think’ we can begin to alter things.

Who we hang around with makes a difference. Who we associate with and what we believe and think, as a group, makes a massive difference. There are peace groups and hate groups. Choose how you want to live in the world and how you want the world to be.

It Is Wiser To Find Out Than Agree And Suppose – Seek Answers

Seek to improve the world through positive changes that makes it better for ALL people. Seek to include, rather than eliminate. What we resist, persists. Don’t hate, hate. Seek love and peace instead. How we think, and what we think, determines the results. Get it?

This is why gratitude and daily, moment to moment expression of it, is so powerful. You fill your mind with positive thoughts and you feel wonderful. You tell different, magnificent, marvelous stories. When you are focused on blessings, small and large, everything changes!

When you delight and vibrate high, and are on top of the world, IS when you create and attract most easily! Get it? So don’t get caught up in less than glorious drama and circumstance. Stop creating discord. Create a better now and you create a better future. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Biggest Mistake You Can Make Holds You Back From What You Want!

 

“Why do people toil so hard to get ahead but not see any results? What is they do, or don’t do, that makes it nearly impossible to succeed, even when they totally want to? What is it? Can one change it? What determines whether we succeed or not?

The major cause for difficulty is where you place your attention! Energy flows where attention goes. Keep that in mind while consider this: power either resides within you or comes from outside you. Whatever you believe determines your lot.

You either believe you are in control or something else in control. It is a matter of belief. It is whatever you think it is! Our beliefs create our perceptions and reality. It is as we think it is. If you don’t believe you are in charge of everything then something else is! It’s simple.

You Are The Power – You Are The Author Of Your Life – Act Like It

If YOU are in charge, then there is always something you can do to alter the situations in your favor. You are not a cork bobbing in the water, driven by the wind and current. You operate of own volition. You are ‘at cause’ not ‘at effect’ in your life. You’re the power source.

Mindset makes an incredible difference in everything you do. People suffer because of where they place control. If anything else is in charge, we are subject to that. Get it? Regardless, of what the ‘actuality’ is, our reality is determined by what we think it is.

Your beliefs and thoughts determine how far you go. Your mindset and attitude determine how much, or how little, influence you have in making your life what you want it to be. You either are in complete charge or you are not. You choose. You must decide. Which is it?

Within You Is The Power To Rise Above Any Situation Or Struggle

Power either comes from within you or from outside you. Frankly, you already made the decision while growing up. You made that decision and you live from it. If that decision doesn’t support you, and serve you, you can change it. That is the good news!

When you take responsibility for everything that happens, whether this notion is true or not, it puts you in a place of power. You make changes. You don’t sit and wait. You create. You determine what the events and circumstances mean. You become the cause.

As the cause, if you don’t like the meaning, you can reframe it. If you don’t like the results you can change them. You can think differently. You can change your m ind. You can feel and act differently. You create different results. You determine where you go and how far.

At Any Time You Can Declare This Is Not How My Story Ends

There are NO limitations except the ones, we THINK there are. Limitation exists only in our thoughts. What are you thinking right now? That will determine many things for you? Either you believe you can or you believe you can’t. Either way, you are correct.

In order to determine whether you, or someone else, is in charge simply listen to where you place authority. Do you blame the weather, the traffic, the people around you, the economy, and all sources outside yourself for what occurs, or do you accept it?

If you say, ‘sorry I am late because I didn’t get up on time’ at least you aren’t saying, ‘I was heading there but traffic was heavy and made me late’. Even if there was heavy traffic, it is up to you to get there on time. YOU are responsible for any delays, not the traffic. Get it?

You Must Learn You Have Always Had The Power – Now Accept It

Most people don’t want to, nor will they take, this kind of responsibility. They want to put it onto other things because this is how most of us were brought up. We learned it from others. That is okay. Now, is the time to change it! Now, is the time to take charge.

Get it? Power doesn’t reside outside of you, unless you are willing to give it all away. Yes, we WERE raised to give most of our power away. We no longer have to! Change your thinking and you can change your life. Accept 100% responsibility for everything and transform.

The moment you do, everything can change. You already have everything you need to transform your life in incredible ways, but most will continue to miss out. Stop! Don’t. Take charge today! When you do new horizons will open. Be glad you can. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
