Can You Visualize And Make Things Happen?

“I learned a lesson about manifesting by manifesting a parking space. Something so small many people would call it a coincidence. Perhaps. Still, see what you can derive and learn from this example from my experience. You may come away with a lot of insight.

I stayed at an apartment, in an area, that did not require a nighttime parking permit. Across the street to the south and a block a way a permit was required. This is where I would park if I couldn’t find a space on my street. My street was packed and spaces were rare.

They were much rarer if you parked there after 5pm. During the previous week no spots were available after 5 or 5:30 pm. I was going to be traveling the next day. I’d been at a meeting which was delayed. I left at 7:30 pm. I knew I’d have to park a block away.

What You Hold In Your Head You Can Hold In Your Hand

I decided at that moment to create a spot for myself right in front of the gate to the apartment. I saw it clearly in my mind. I affirmed that this was what I wanted. Heck, I’d even take a nearby one around the corner too. That was still close enough. I threw in the 2nd request.

Why? I imagined two spots because frankly, the likelihood of getting a spot in front of my apartment was nearly zero. I didn’t want to be disappointed in not getting one. I doubted there would be one. It was actually difficult for me to muster up enough energy to do it.

My thinking was don’t do this. There won’t be a spot and it will just weaken your convictions. Doubt, is a great de-motivator. I didn’t want to try something and have it not work. If I don’t know it won’t work I am willing, but I was certain this wouldn’t work. I knew it.

What You See Is What You Get

So I determined the first spot right out front and then a back up spot just in case. Neither were even remotely likely. I drove up the street and lo and behold the back up spot was available. I thought better take it now while it is here. I was tempted to drive around the corner.

I wanted there to be a spot in front of the apartment but if I didn’t take this one and there wasn’t I might miss out on this one too. I nabbed it. I parked. I felt good enough. I walked around the corner and there in front was the available space just as I imagined.

Both spots were there. I took the first one  got to, to be safe. This was unreal. Both spots in the exact places I visualized at a time when every day that week, and prior to that, there would be none. I felt fantastic, and a little bit disappointed I didn’t turn the corner first.

What You Focus On Expands – You Get What You Think About

I learned a lot from this experience which I will share soon. What might you have learned from my experience? This is important to explore? What might you have gleaned that you can use to manifest and create what you want in life? Please answer this for yourself.

What Kind Of Journey Is It?

“We are all journeying separately, together. We have our solo missions and yet, we all travel together and help each other succeed. No one lives or journeys in true isolation. So what kind of journey is it? What is your journey about? Are you enjoying the journey.

The journey seems to be mostly about awareness. What you are able to discover about yourself, others and the world while you are here. You either enjoy your journey or you do not. If not, why not? What is it that prevents you from enjoying where you are right this moment.

BEcome aware. BEcome aware of all crap so you can let go, forgive and move onward. BEcome aware of all the good so you can celebrate and enjoy. BEcome aware of when you are selfish and not giving. BEcome aware when you are supportive and helpful.

The Goal Of Life Is To Be Fully Alive – Live Learn Love Laugh – BE

You will discover many things about yourself. Seek to. BEcome aware. Notice how I spelled BEcome. When we simply, ‘be’ who we are without masks, without filters and prejudices, without judgements the journey becomes so much more delightful.

Hardships BEcome blessings because you BEcome aware of those hidden within the challenges. As you become more aware of how you hold yourself back and let go of it you have more energy to enjoy all the wonderful good things that you were missing. It’s about focus.

The journey is all we have. The destination is off in the future. How you arrive at the destination is more important than actually arriving. You can’t sacrifice now for back then or what is up ahead. You only have how you live, love and celebrate now. Happiness is!

How You Journey To Your Destination Is Everything Be Here Now

It isn’t about getting to be happy later when your bills are paid and you have your dream career, relationship, car or home. It is BEcoming happy now in spite of those less than glorious times. Learn to BE happy. Be fulfilled. Be rich even when your wallet is empty.

Awareness is the key. Have the courage to face yourself and explore. BE willing to examine what you find. Let go of what stops you. Accentuate what moves you into BEing and greater awareness. Live well this moment and the next takes care of itself. Delight in all. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Change Limiting Beliefs Through Doubt

“Most people live life as a cork bobbing in the water. They move whichever way they are pulled by the current. Sometime this way, good, sometimes that way, bad. There is a way to more consistently live happily, positively and powerfully. Would you like to know how?

We all face negative thoughts and beliefs. We can change them. We don’t have to be a victim to our thinking. In fact, it is crucial for our success and happiness to take charge of, and control, our thinking and feeling, instead of allowing it to be haphazard.

Doubt your doubts. Yes, doubt them. Begin to doubt them. Whenever you think or say something like, ‘I could never do that’ you don’t have to believe that. That is simply part of your less than productive, chronic, habitual thinking you learned from the past.

Stop Clinging To The Old Conditioning – Let It Go – Become New

You can change it. Doubt it. Don’t give it the credence you have been giving it in the past. Consider this. If you can doubt that you could do it, you could also begin to doubt that you couldn’t do it. Get it? You don’t have to accept your thought as a life sentence.

Neither thought is actually true. It is only a reflection of what you have come to believe and accept as true. It is possible you could do it just as much as it is possible you couldn’t. You just may not have considered this before. Your thoughts are one-sided, out of balance.

Start considering the positive. Consider what you might possibly do that could lead to you doing it. You don’t have to know how you could but you can begin to imagine how it might be possible. Doubt that you can’t! Begin to think that you could and can and will.

Doubt Your Doubts – Question Them – Face Your Fears – Act

‘I’ll never get out of debt.’ ‘Perhaps, that isn’t true. What if I did? How might I begin to think and behave differently for me to change this? Who says, I can’t? What if I do? Just because I have thought, I won’t doesn’t mean, I won’t? Perhaps, I could? What would that be like?’

You lead yourself out of the negativity by doubting the non-supportive belief and beginning to wonder how you can begin to make things different. Inch by inch. You switch the less than glorious, negative, non-productive, non-supportive belief for a better one.

Why would you ever choose to have a less than glorious, negative, non-productive, non-supportive belief set anyway? Most likely you wouldn’t. So go ahead and begin to change it. Some will take some time, some will be much easier. You’ll notice this too, as you do it.

Your Future Is Based On Your Present Decisions – Think Positive

Never stay stuck when you don’t have to. Be in charge of your thinking and your feelings. Change your life for the positive. Everything changes when you do. From within to without. It starts with thoughts, your feelings, then actions, that get you your results.

Do you want better results? Think better! Doubt your doubts! Doubt your negative beliefs! Change them to positive, powerful, productive ones that serve you! Work on it daily. Develop the habit of thinking positively. Learn that you CAN celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What We Can Learn From The Rollercoaster

“Kids and adults like rollercoasters. Not everyone, but enough that they are popular amusement park rides. What does a rollercoaster do? It takes you on a high speed journey, through ups and downs, fast and slow. The purpose is to scare, thrill and delight you with fun.

Life has been likened to a rollercoaster. Remember that, when you have a moment. Life is a journey. There is no desire to quickly get to the end. From birth to then, there are ups and downs. What if the purpose of all these was to scare, thrill and delight you with fun?

Consider, every event, good or not so good, there for your delight. It is part of an adventure. It is the journey. It is all for your well-being. It is designed for you to grow and learn and evolve and transform. Enjoy the journey. Enjoy all of the ride. Let go and be thrilled.

How To Share Transformation With Loved Ones

Have you ever noticed that some of the people closest to you rain the most on your parade? They just don’t get where you are at. They may be very negative and think you are weird. They don’t get your new attitude or practices. They think you have lost it! Right?

Have you anyone like that in your life? You have transformed and experienced tremendous growth and feel on top of the world, moving forward, but some around you want to hold you back. Well, guess what. Most people don’t like change. They want to keep you!

They like or love you and if you change then what?  They want the same ole person they’ve always known. Can’t blame them really, our brains work to keep us the same too. Remember, your inner thermostat always works to keep it at the setting. People do too.

To Be Loved Be Willing To Love And Accept Others As They Are

Sad, but true. That is just the way it is.  We have changed and probably want to share with them and have them celebrate with us. What to do? When we try they get weird and tell us we are not the same person. They may say it nicely or not. What to do? Right?

First forgive them. Let it go. No matter how difficult it seems, let it go. Accept them as they are. You have changed they may or may not have. Allow them to be them and let it go. As for sharing your new found delights keep some things in mind. No one likes pushy.

We have an opportunity to help people who may be in need of what we know that can transform their lives. Isn’t that awesome? You want to share it. Just remember, not everyone wants to hear it or is ready to hear it. You heard it when you were ready, and not before.

You can’t Correct Your Mistakes By Pointing Out Other’s Mistakes

When the disciple is ready the master appears. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. Our only responsibility is to lead. Be an example. Walk the talk.  When they are ready then maybe they will seek out what you have. Otherwise, let them be.

When they are ready they will find their path. Meanwhile love them. Bless them. Encourage them. Inspire them. Motivate them, but do not be evangelical. Don’t try to convert or convince. Don’t insist, don’t beg or complain. Let them be who they are.

Prepare a banquet and those who are hungry enough will come. Those who don’t, don’t. Those who come to the banquet may sample and enjoy certain things but not enjoy everything. Some won’t try much, but will eat the foods they already like.

Accept People As They Are Not How You Want Them To Be

Some will explore. Some will skimp. Some will feast. Some will eat and run. Others may stick around for awhile. IT is all good. Whatever it is, it is. Don’t make people conform to you. Allow them to be who they are each moment. Learn to accept. Learn to not be bothered.

Let your light shine. Don’t talk a lot about it to people who aren’t ready to listen. Let your light do your talking, instead. That is more than enough. Be known by your fruits and actions rather than your convincing words. Lead by example. Let your love be an example.

Don’t try to sell or persuade people into being different, but invite them. Then it is up to them whether or not they accept the invitation. Sometimes, if you don’t say anything about your changes they get curious and pester you. They really get curious.

Some Things Are A Mystery Not To Be Solved But To Be Enjoyed

They want you to reveal what you are doing that works and why what they’re doing doesn’t. Wait for the invitation, the request to explain. Then keep it simple and be brief. Don’t overload them with information and procedures. Let them extract it from you bit by bit.

When they are ready to explore more fully they will and you will have been a supportive person standing by with encouragement not someone nagging them to be different from who they presently are. Accept them.  Love them. Allow them to be as they are.

Forgive them. Forgive yourself, and accept what is as it is. It is all a blessing. Live fully and then like moths to the flame, people will want to know what you have that makes the difference. Yes, you can help them. Share it. Don’t push it. Celebrate Everything!” Rex Sikes

If You Accept It Can You Still Change It?

“So, if I accept what is, does that mean I am stuck with it? Am I giving up if I accept the circumstances? It seems like I am surrendering rather than moving forward? If you have these or similar thoughts you are not alone. Many people wonder what to do and how.

What is IS what is. That’s the way it is. There is no changing that. It IS! You must understand this. You may want it different but it is what it is. Can you accept that? Can you accept the notion that it is what it is and that is all there is. There is nothing else at this moment. It IS!

So, accept it. It won’t help to fight it. You will be going up against the entire universe by resisting it. So stop. Accept it. Recognize that is what is. NOW, having done that it doesn’t mean you can’t do things to change it. First, accept that it couldn’t be otherwise.

The Best Way To Be Grateful Is To Accept Everything

You got what you got! Consider this. You get back what you are not what you want. According to the Law Of Attraction, you attract what you presently are. You get more of the same. Like attracts like. I use the the mirror example. If you frown you don’t reflect smiles.

You get back frowns. If you first accept, if everything is a blessing, then blessings are what you get back in return. If instead, you feel needy, or need something else, then you attract back need. If you resist you attract or create more resistance. So go with the flow.

Get it? Go with what is and accept it. If you have preferences of how it might be otherwise that isn’t the same as having a need or fighting it. Can you understand this? If you think, ‘I’d like to have more fun now’ and you become fun. Then you will get more fun back.

Everything Is Going To Be Great It May Not Seem Like It But It Is

Get it? Become what you want to receive! Accept that your actions are part of this process.  Don’t resist, because what you resist persists. Instead you allow. Accept. Receive.  Invite. Think. ‘I am bigger than my problems. These are there as a blessing.’

Obstacles are an opportunity for you to grow and evolve and develop in ways you would not otherwise do if they weren’t here The reason most people have problems is because they fight them. Embrace problems as blessings, allow them and accept them.

Then you will transcend them. You’ll find an entirely new way of being when everything is a blessing. When every moment is a gift, when every second is a joy, that is when your life is truly magnificent and incredible. You are invincible and unstoppable.

You Manifest And Create What You Want Whenever You Want

Some people mistake surrender and think it means giving up or giving in. I am not suggesting withdrawal or lack of action. You can swat a mosquito if you must. Surrender means understanding that this is the way things are, there may be a reason, or maybe not.

BUT this is how it is right now. You can take action and do whatever you feel inspired, led or intuit to do and move forward. Simply don’t be wedded to the outcome of having to manifest a certain absolute way. Allow for whatever to happen to happen. Get it? Allow!

Not resisting means you do not push back. You don’t fight it. You can take action without fighting. If you are traveling with the current in a canoe you can use the current to steer where you want to go without stopping the current. You go with the flow while steering.

You Always Go Where Your Thoughts Take You

The analogy may not be perfect, but hopefully it helps make the point. If you consider everything a blessing and opportunity you get to work on things and act on things you otherwise wouldn’t. That is a gift! You can create and attract too at the same time. Don’t fight!

Allow. Go with the flow while steering it in positive ways. Be grateful. Fill yourself up with passion and enthusiasm. Delight in everything and you will be attracting and creating more of it for yourself. You will be transforming everything when you celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Accept What Is As It Is And Accelerate Your Transformation

“Here’s a mindset that may seem difficult to adopt or except but if you do, I can promise you can get fantastic results. Here goes. Accept what is, as whatever it is is. Consider yourself lucky and blessed to have the opportunity to experience it. Feel lucky!

Whether what IS, is good or not so good, think of it as a game. Think of life, your life as a big, fun, challenging game worth playing. All of your challenges, all of your hardships, everything is there for you to have fun, to be fulfilled, to feel blessed and to transcend it.

It is a blessing! You are here! That is THE gift! What ever is going on IS a gift! You ARE alive. You HAVE so much to be grateful for. There IS so much in the world that is good. YOU ARE ALIVE! YOU GET TO HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE! Accept it. Feel it. Celebrate it! You ‘IS’.

Life Does Not Get Better By Chance But By Change

Stop disliking and start accepting. Start receiving. Start learning. Learn from your challenges and opportunities. Learn from those difficult people and events. These are ALL gifts to you. You ARE lucky to have included them in this life of yours. Get it?

You may not  presently choose to think so, but when you do your life will begin to transform. All of life, ALL OF LIFE, is an incredible, precious gift. Yet, some choose to suffer, whine, complain, blame and excuse. They choose to fear, doubt, worry, get angry and hate.

They, you and I, can always choose, otherwise. Whether we do or not is up to each of us. That is yours and my responsibility. Inside every hardship is an equivalent seed of opportunity stated Napoleon Hill and others. Everything is a blessing and an opportunity to grow!

If You Want Your Life To Change You Must Change Some Things

Thought leaders through out  history have said that you are blessed. We are blessed.  Consider all of life a game and any frustrations and  challenges are part of the fun of playing the game. If there weren’t any hardships to endure and overcome it wouldn’t be much fun.

You wouldn’t want to play against anyone other than a worthy opponent, would you? Teams want to compete against the best teams, don’t they? Masters at their craft want to play or compete against other equal or better masters. Difficult people are yours.

It is what is. Realize it is all a game.  How you go through it depends on your attitude. That is the single most important factor! Your attitude makes all the difference in what you experience. Develop a positive, powerful, optimistic attitude. Be bigger than problems.

Life Is Too Short To Worry About Stupid Things – Have Fun

When obstacles and challenges arise think, ‘Bring it! Is that the best you have? I can handle anything!’ Then do it! Go for it. Adjust and continue. Find or create a way. Remain calm and centered. Be the eye of the hurricane. Live life by your terms not someone else’s.

Be grateful. Be happy. Feel delighted and thrilled with the opportunities and blessings that present so you can grow and evolve and become so much better. Steel is hardened by the flame. Diamonds are created under intense heat and pressure.

The kite rises highest against the wind. Accept and utilize what is. Correct and continue. Have fun. Be curious. Be an explorer and an adventurer. Play the game well. Play the game to win and have fun! Enjoy. Be grateful. Feel it! Express it. Celebrate everything!”

Do We Control Our Neurons Or Do They Control Us?

“I’m sharing some fascinating research, from a few years back, that you might not be aware of. It is pretty cool! Study subjects were able regulate the activity of specific neurons in the brain, by manipulating an image on a computer screen using only their thoughts.

A collaboration between scientists at UCLA and  the California Institute of Technology has demonstrated that test subjects were able to regulate the activity of specific neurons, increase the firing rate of some while decreasing the rate of others.

I’ll let you draw your own conclusion. I think it is fascinating that we are able to do so many more things than we realize we are able to. Science helps us discover more of what we are capable of. Perhaps, we should never say never, but find a way instead.

How To Solve Your Problems In Another Time Dimension

“One of the ways you can help yourself avoid future problems is by contingency planning.  You build a contingency plan by resolving the issue in future. Let’s use an example from the world of sales. Cold calling is something few people like and often abandon.

The reason for this is, even though you may be calling qualified ‘hot’ lead, the person on the other end of the phone is a stranger. That person ‘hot’, ‘warm’ or ‘cold’ frequently has requests for further information and objections. This can be difficult for the sales person.

The worst thing that can happen to a new sales person is to score big sales right out of the gate. While it is cause to celebrate and can help to increase confidence, too early of success means the salesperson doesn’t learn through trial and error experience. They learn one way.

Look Back And Smile On The Past – The Old Way Led To The New

They repeat the way that worked again and again. This results in hit or miss. Often, their sales, sadly, diminish. They can’t figure out what went wrong since they started off so well. Had they had some trials and tribulations they’d have learned multiple ways to sell.

So what you can do is visualize the sales call by phone or in person. See it going well. Fantastic. See yourself and the client or customer getting along and having great rapport. Imagine them and hear them say they will buy. Awesome, you made the sale. Anchor it.

Enjoy the feeling of success! Now, run scenarios in which each time you attempt to sell they come up with an excuse or objection. Watch and listen to how you overcome the objection. Imagine maintaining rapport and leading the client to a sale.

Stop Repeating Mistakes – Make New Ones – Fail Forward

Pick more and more difficult objections to resolve. Run scenario after scenario in your mind. Each time see yourself remain confident and resourceful while handling the objections satisfactorally.  Rehearse succeeding at overcoming any number of objections.

This is a good use of your mental skills. You imagine success. Then you imagine failure and how you overcome it. What do you think, say, and do that makes the difference? You can also role play with partners in real life. Here is another suggestion. The phone call.

You call. Introduce why you are there and they say not interested and hang up. OR they just hang up! How do you manage to make the next number of calls. Imagine yourself getting told ‘no’ and getting hung up on. Imagine yourself remaining resourceful. Feel it.

The Difference Between Ordinary And Extraordinary Is Practice

Feel resourceful. Every ‘no’ you imagine, let it make you more determined, more thrilled, more optimistic, more resourceful. What happens in real time is people get deflated. Find a way to take the ‘rejection’ and turn it into a positive resource that fuels you.

If you see yourself defeated in your mind you will be. That is what happens in real time. You can help prevent it by practicing in advance handling the tough times. Act as if you are resourceful and positive and can keep going. Rehearse maintaining these feelings.

Many people don’t include contingency planning in their visualizations and it is important. Imagine the obstacles and how you overcome them.  Also keep in mind whenever you have any difficulty that there is a time in the future when it won’t matter.

There is a time coming, when what is happening now won’t matter any more.. At that time you can look back and see how the present less than glorious situation contributed to you, and benefited you in the long run.

It didn’t limit you though it may have seemed to at the time. Learn to appreciate these moments. Be grateful. Know that there are always plenty of opportunities if we remain open. Problems and rejection, hard times and obstacles all help us grow through experience. Without it we aren’t nearly as resourceful. Be thankful if success doesn’t happen too quickly. There Are Two Basic Emotions Feel Good And Feel Bad

There are two basic emotions. You can feel good or feel bad.  The goal is is to feel good most of the time.  Don’t think you have to feel blissed out the entire time. The goal is to feel a little bit better, the best you can. This is important to understand. Feel better.

If you’re feeling down  you want to move into feeling a little bit better. Move in the direction of feeling good. Move incrementally. If you’re down it isn’t likely you will make a gigantic leap into feeling incredible. Just move bit by bit toward feeling better. Get it?

You can always feel a little bit better. Even now. That is your goal to spend most of your time feeling the best you are able to. Keep moving  in the direction of feeling good. Feel good more often than not. Keep it simple. There is only feeling good or feeling bad.

There Is Always Some Good In Each Day – Find It Celebrate It

Ask yourself which you are feeling? If you are feeling bad do something to change it.  Do whatever you can to feel better. Move more. Go for a walk. Get out in nature. Do some gardening or something enjoyable outdoors. Notice the beauty and freshness.

Do yoga. Exercise.  Meditate. Read or listen to some uplifting material.  Find positive and inspiring people to hang around with. Attend an event. Go to a workshop.  Invest in yourself. Shake it up. Put a smile on your face. Make someone else smile.

Compliment  people. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Talk positive not about negative things. Help someone who has a problem that’s worse than yours. As long as you’re moving toward feeling a bit better you are raising your energy in the right direction.

Accentuate The Positive – Something Wonderful Will Happen

When you feel bad, have negative thoughts, or feel fears, worries and anxieties take that as a signal that something is off and you need to adjust. Adjust and correct and do those things that make you feel better. Keep heading in the direction.

As long as you’re heading in the right direction you’re making progress. Gratitude is a great way to get out of being stuck and feeling less than glorious. Look around at everything you can appreciate and express it. Delight in it. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
