Problems? You Need To Do This When Your Computer Fails

“Some people have a lot of difficulty in their daily lives. It seems they just can’t get over some of the speed bumps. Obviously, for some it is worse than others. What to do? Is there anything that can be done to help improve the results they get? Why does this happen?

I have had my share of tough times in life. Perhaps, you too. Depending on your attitude it can really suck. I know that as well. I grew up with people telling me I had a dark cloud following me. It is easy to be sour on life. However, there is the problem. That IS it.

When one sours, gets down, and feels bad they tend to perpetuate the very things they want to avoid and eliminate. Why is this? Because they feel bad, they think they are stuck, they focus on their problems and issues. They hope for change and may even work hard.

We Are What We Repeatedly Do – Excellence Is A Habit

They work hard to change circumstances BUT maintain a poor attitude. It is in the attitude that the problem and the solution exists. A bad attitude is like a weight around one’s neck while swimming in turbulent waters. A good attitude is the life vest that holds one up.

With or without the weight turbulent waters are difficult to navigate. With added weight they may be nearly impossible. Help is needed. BUT help doesn’t come from the outside it comes from within. Sure, someone may assist, but genuine help is within oneself.

No one can do it for you. They can encourage or make demands but it isn’t until ‘the student is  ready that the teacher appears’. That teacher, that guide, that master, that change agent is you. We can only take care of ourselves and make our own changes.

Control Your Thoughts And You Can Control Your Behavior

Certainly, we can help the needy. I believe we should. We can help in many ways. BUT again, genuine change is made by the person who needs to make the change and there is no substitute for that. This is why we must take responsibility. Consider this.

You can give a man a fish. You can show a man how to fish and teach the man. Until that man learns to fish and then goes and fishes he doesn’t truly know how to fish. Only in doing it does the man get the experience and learns to fish for himself.

He may then provide for himself and others. Men, women it is the same. People can show you the way to change but unless you do it nothing changes. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make the horse drink. Hopefully, the horse gets thirsty enough to do it.

It Is Easier To Change Bad Habits Today Than Tomorrow

Yes, you can perhaps help make the horse thirsty. Still, the horse has to drink, you can’t drink for the horse.  Today, I had to have the hard drive replaced on my laptop. All sort of strange things had been going on. For some time. Crashes, fonts went missing, many issues.

I couldn’t import photos from phone. I was losing documents. Things began to take long times, starting, stopping, processing. I got spinning beach balls and color wheels all the time. It just was not working well at all. I could tell my computer was very troubled.

It would go to sleep and then I’d have a battle waking it up. It shut down on its own frequently. I took it in. They ran diagnostics and a big red FAIL notice popped up within seconds of initiating the diagnostic. The hard drive was bad and needed to be replaced.

Bad Habits Will Ruin You – Good Habits Will Save You

It was replaced because as it were I was not able to work properly or successfully. I could not get the intended results from my efforts. Once replaced I can again work with ease. The results are now good again. It is a true story today and of course, it is a metaphor.

The brain and life and the results one get’s is the same. If you’re not getting the results you want in life there is a problem or issue with the hardware and/or the software. In my metaphor, the hardware they replaced is NOT synonymous with the brain but with mind.

Rarely, is it a physical brain problem. Instead it is a routing problem. We make neural networks or pathways in our brain. These are reliable well traveled high speed highways. Where these go and what they do is the issue. These neural nets are our thought habits.

First We Make Our Habits – Then Our Habits Make Us

We think, feel and behave the same because of habits. These habits are laid out in the brain. Triggers from within or from the environment initiate these patterns and off they go running. They run perfectly well and get results consistently. Good or bad?

That depends on the ‘programming’. For example, a trigger can cause a negative thought which produces electro chemicals resulting in a feeling, which then in turn results in more similar thoughts resulting in more of the same less than glorious feelings. It is cyclic. It loops.

If you think a bad thought you feel bad and then more than likely begin to feel worse as thoughts run on and on. The worse you feel the worse you think. You either then feel like doing nothing or you behave bad too. You actions aren’t inspired by good things.

Believe You Can And You Are Halfway There

You do things that aren’t wise. You may overeat, or drink. You may be frustrated and stressed or get angry a lot. You may work extra hard but produce nothing. You might not be able to sleep. You get desperate and try many things which don’t work. It sucks.

Whatever the behavior might be. Poor thoughts and feelings produce poor behaviors. These in turn become habit. Our habits are either success habits or failure habits. Our habits determine our results which all stems from how we are thinking to being with.

If your not getting the results you want you need to change the programming. You need to update the software or replace it. You replace the negative with the positive to get the better results you want. It is frustrating if the real life programming is out of whack.

Focus – You Can Do This – Believe In Yourself – You Can Do This

This is why I am Implore you to take control of your mind and your feelings.  Learn to control your thoughts, take charge, take responsibility and get your operating system running right. Begin to get the results you want. Only you can do it for yourself.

When the operating system is faulty and doesn’t work properly the results you get are haphazard at best and not so good or terrible at worse.  The thoughts that you think either spiral up into positive feels and results or they spiral down into negatively. It is habitual.

When thoughts are negative and your feeling less than glorious you produce less than glorious results. The crumby results and frustration further make you think and feel worse and get more poor results. It is cyclic and the reason why it seems tough to change.

Train Your Mind To See The Good – Positivity Is A Choice

You have to break the cycle. Drugs and alcohol don’t work. Taking the wrong bad actions don’t improve a bad situation. You have to change your failure habits into success habits and that begins by changing your thinking. Start at the top with your thoughts.

Work on improving your attitude and everything begins to change. Your neural pathways work like dominos. Once triggered all the rest follow. Start with positive thinking so that everything that follows continues from a positive start. Success thoughts to success results.

There is no guarantee that just because you think positive all your efforts will be successful. There is the guarantee that negative thinking will not produce successful results. The benefit to positive thinking is you are more likely to succeed as you stick with it.

If You Want To Change The Fruit – You Have To Change The Roots

If things don’t work out as hoped you adjust your plans and carry on without letting it upset you or get you down. You are better equipped to succeed and more likely to succeed with a positive attitude. Overall, you life can become truly wonderful.

It isn’t a magic pill or wand. It is a real, reliable skill that gives you the power to begin producing the results you want. It is an incredible benefit to think and feel positive most of the time. Your health, mental and physical can improve, just as your work and life can.

Instead of living with faulty programming and getting crappy results you can change all of that. You can create new neural pathways, new habits of thought and feeling that lead to inspired action that become success habits to get you to good results.

To Change The Visible – You First Must Change The Invisible

Just like my computer hard drive you want your brain and mind working properly to help insure that you get the results that you intend to get. Follow the suggestions I have provided in these blog posts and you can begin to really begin to experience the benefits.

You can make your life the life you want. You can become, do and have anything you want in life when you learn how to go after it and make it happen. You can begin to feel good almost instantly by what you pay attention to. What you focus on you get. It expands.

Focus on the good things. Think powerfully and positively. Take charge of your thoughts and learn to control how and what you think. It is amazing when you do! Learn to delight in and enjoy and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Distraction Can Be Worse Than Negativity

“The idea is to live in advance of the world. You think and feel, you embody the thoughts and feelings of that future you, right now in your present. For example, you want to be a multi-millionaire. You’re not one yet. How does a multimillionaire think, feel and behave?

You might ask yourself; how does a multi-millionaire get dressed in the morning; what does a multi-millionaire think about while driving to the office or the golf course; how does a multi-millionaire feel driving a car; what would a multi-millionaire do in this situation?

Of course, the idea is, you are that multi-millionaire. How are you thinking, feeling, behaving and having what you want in life? What is your daily life like, your work and your leisure? What does it feel like to pay bills, purchase things, go places you want to go? What’s it like?

Focus On Your Goal Don’t Look In Any Other Direction But Ahead

What’s it like being rich? Get a feel for that. Be rich in mind and body and spirit first and you create and attract wealth to you. From within to without. You ARE it first and THEN you get it. You live it and it becomes reality. That is how it works. Focus on being it first.

What do we do that prevents us? Some people doubt, fear and worry it will never happen. That stops the energy flow. Some live thinking mostly negative thoughts. That keeps one from getting ahead. What you say and see is what you get. Negativity sucks!

What you express on a daily basis, moment to moment, to yourself and others, and imagine in your mind, is what you create. If you are rehashing troubles, difficult times, and the a-hole from the freeway you end up getting back more of the same. We get more of the same.

Don’t Get Sidetracked – Stay On Course – Keep It In Mind

All of this should be obvious. If you read positive, inspirational material, like Hill, Hicks, Wattles, Emmerson, and others then you know energy flows where attention goes. You must vibrate in alignment with your desires. Vibration is important,

You get who you are over and above what you want. Do you understand this. Here is an example. A poor person may want riches but focuses on lack and struggles so that person creates and get more of the same. It is why the rich get richer and poor get poorer.

One reason, at least. Become it and you can have it is the rule. Negativity, doubt, fear, and worry won’t make it happen for you. You get more of the back. There is something else even more of us do that prevents it. Distraction. We are distracted. Pettiness rules.

Stay Focused On What You Want – Don’t Doubt Yourself – Believe

We focus on petty things, issues, gossip, the news, the freeway, the weather, what the neighbors are or aren’t doing. We live our lives with petty concerns. We aren’t living our lives as a multi-millionaire would we are doing what we have always done. So we get that back.

We keep getting what we have been doing all along. In order to get something new and better we have to change things and become new and better. We can’t continue the way we are and expect things to miraculously change. We re-create what is already going on!

We’re not be severely negative. We just aren’t positive most of the time. We aren’t living the future ‘as if’, as if it were right now. We are living now with petty frustrations and ho-hum moments. So we get more ho-hum. We need to fill life with love, laughter and celebration.

Life Is Like A Camera – It Captures Perfectly What You Focus It On

We need to be rich in mind, spirit, heart and wallet. It begins in the mind with who and what we are. If we major in minor things we are only going to get minor things back. We need to ‘BE IT’ to do it and have it. Then THAT becomes our habit and our results improve.

Do you understand this? It may be there is nothing terribly wrong. No major massive negativity. It is just the subtle undercurrent of ‘oh well, same stuff different day’ that keeps us creating the same stuff each day. We need to create differently to create differences.

Gratitude, celebration, delight, enjoyment, fun, a wealthy, healthy mindset, incredible feelings lead to positive inspired actions. Done consistently over time these become habits or lifestyle. Living this way increases the possibilities and opportunities for you.

The Secret To Change – Stop Fighting The Old – Build The New

Your life changes AFTER you change. Make the change and then everything can change. So what would a happy, healthy, multi-millionaire think, feel and do to make life more wonderful? Bring that attitude to everything you do. Bring it to your work, your travel.

Bring it to you problem solving and issues. How would a successful multi-millionaire deal with this? Would it be a big deal or not? Get it? Create the mindset. If everything in your life was glorious and you were absolutely the person you want to be how would you handle it?

What you you think and feel and do as you go through each moment of your day? You’d have a different energy and vitality, that is for certain. You’d have different awarenesses and understandings? This is what you want to embody and embrace. This, IS becoming!

Focus Is Defined As – F allow One Course Until Successful 

You become what you think about most often! Create the ideal you. Live it right this moment. Then, experience how life transforms. Stop the negativity. Put an end to the distractions. Live powerfully and positively. Feel the best you can. Enjoy each moment. Savor it all.  Delight. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Gold Is Hidden In The Dirt But You Won’t Find It If You Never Look

“When you are troubled and things aren’t going your way do you think and feel you are at your optimum? Most people say no. Sadly, that is accurate. Most people get preoccupied with the issues troubling them. Their attention, focus and energy get drained.

This is why a negative mind state isn’t useful. It is detrimental. You can’t operate at your peak if you aren’t thinking and feeling your best. Most people try to solve the issue by figuring out what to do and by working harder at it and that rarely works well.

It is better to get your mind thinking clearly and your feelings supporting your resourcefulness so you can move forward instead of remaining stuck in one spot trying to work things out. Attitude and energy is far more important in these instances than much else.

Nothing  Can Stop The Person With The Right Mental Attitude

Some people resort to whining, excusing and blaming. They blame themselves, others or outer circumstances, god, the weather, the banks and more. Finding the culprit doesn’t do much.  It may be satisfying for an instant but in the long run solves little or nothing.

Taking responsibility, even when one might not feel it is theirs, gives one incredible power to  begin to make positive changes. One assumes control over self and circumstances. This helps each of us to marshall our resources and apply them thoughtfully as needed.

Otherwise, we waste much time looking in the wrong places for the wrong things. When we look within ourselves we can find a vast treasure house of experiences of all kinds that can help us in any difficult situation. The beginning of positive change is awareness.

Nothing Can Help The Person With The Wrong Mental Attitude

When we take control of our mind and feelings by guarding our thoughts to keep them uplifting and useful we are learning to exercise a powerful gift. The ability to choose how we think and feel in any situation. It isn’t easy to do at first, but then, few things are.

Napoleon Hill wrote, ‘A positive mental attitude is the habit of looking upon all unpleasant circumstances with which one meets as merely opportunities for one to test one’s capacity to rise above them by searching for that ‘seed of  an equivalent benefit’ and putting it to work.’

If we can examine each situation we are in and find the good, find the gold, find the benefit we are accomplishing some important things. One is we are making a habit of finding the good. We are training are mind to work in a particular direction to benefit us. This is great!

A Positive Attitude Is The Seeking What Can Be Accomplished

Second, we are finding the benefit and potentially the learning we can extract from the difficulty. Not only have we trained our mind in a positive beneficial way but we are learning and discovering benefits to apply. We are growing and evolving. We use the benefits.

Plus, we are finding opportunity where few would think to look. Often, the gold is so hidden in the dirt it sin’t obvious unless you look  hard, and sometimes long. In addition, we are getting out of our own way, out of the muck and mire and releasing our energy and feelings.

We can think clearer, and act better when our thinking and feeling is right. We move in inspired ways to take action instead of from worry, fear or doubt. There are many additional benefits to gain from making the effort to adopt a positive mindset.

A Positive Mental Attitude Helps You Do Everything Better

Hill further states, ‘A PMA is the habit of keeping the mind busily engaged in connection with the circumstances  and things one  desires in life, and OFF the things one does not desire’. Focus and concentration is maintained on what we want to be, do and have.

We focus on who we are and want to be not what is lacking or wrong. This gives us the ability to achieve rather than consuming us with the problem. Our energy is focused in what we can and will do as opposed to what we can’t and won’t do. Mindset is everything!

What we ‘don’t want’ IS useful to help us clarify what we do want. Once we totally know what we don’t want we SHIFT and aim our attention on what we want to be, do and have. We focus on what we want to create and not on what holds us back or keeps us down.

All Skill To Think And Do Is Acquired By Repetition And Repetition 

My hope for all my readers, especially those who haven’t yet made use of the opportunity life gives them,  is to learn to take control of their minds. Your mind is a powerful tool that can be focused like a laser to help you get what you want most in life.

It can also be used to screw you up and hold you back until you take control. It is a wonderful servant and a terrible master. Take control. One of the easiest ways is to begin with  the simple awareness of what is already good in your life and focus on that. Appreciate it all.

Sometimes it can be difficult to find, but it is the habit of finding the benefit within the hardship that is important to develop. Find people, and things about them, your world and yourself to be grateful about and emphasize them. Think and feel the gratitude.

We Are What We Repeatedly Do – Success Is A Habit

Make a list. Do it daily. Often! In finding what is already good you open your mind to finding more good now and to creating it later. You build an important habit. You get your mind and feelings supporting you. It can take some time or be nearly instant.

Most things take awhile so keep at it until you break through. Usefully, pretty soon you will notice a shift occurring. It gets better and easier. Then guess what. You will be tested. Something will happen that will provide you the opportunity to test your mettle.

Life just happens that way. Then you either rise or fall. Whichever occurs use it to learn and benefit from. If you fall get up again, as many times as you need to, in order to move ahead. This is how habits and control are formed. You need to use them in tough times.

The Habit Of Persisting Is The Habit Of Victory

If it were never tough you wouldn’t need the abilities. Yet, this is where most people drop out. They exclaim, ‘I was doing everything I should and then things went bad and suck. This stuff doesn’t work.’ IT WORKS you have to learn to apply it where it counts!! Get it?

You need to learn control and use it when times are tough. Don’t buckle. But if you do, get back on top again. Pat yourself on the back for doing whatever you did, be grateful to become aware and have the opportunity to use what you are learning. Then do it! Apply it.

Stay grateful. Keep looking for benefit. Affirm the positive. Focus on who you are that is wonderful already and who you want to become. Stick with it. Enjoy, delight, be strong when necessary. Guard your thoughts and self-talk. Be the author of your own life story. Be the master of your thoughts and feelings. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Whatever Your Excuse It Doesn’t Matter!

“Do you want to be happier? Would you like to be healthier? Want to book more work? Are you seeking the career of your dreams? Do you want fame, fortune and success? How about love? Wouldn’t you enjoy a deep loving relationship? Whatever it is, what do you want?

Okay, great. How come you don’t have it yet? Why aren’t you experiencing it right now? I bet you know. I bet you have already answered that question in your mind. What was your answer? Go ahead write it down. Write all the reasons down. Part 1.

Let’s do an exercise. Let’s do something that will reveal a lot about you and help you aim your thoughts and efforts toward success and what you want to accomplish in your life. Write down all those reasons why not; why you don’t have what you want.

As Our Awareness Grows – So We Grow

I can’t be successful because I don’t have enough money. I can’t be happy because I don’t know how. I can’t be successful because I am not educated. I can’t become successful because I don’t have the right connections. I can’t make it because I am not pretty enough.

I can’t become rich because I am not smart enough. I can do what I want because I am a single parent with responsibilities. I can’t be healthy because I like sugar too much. I can’t go to the party because I don’t have nice clothes. I can’t learn because I have a disability. I can’t concentrate because I have ADD. I can’t, I can’t I don’t, I don’t!

Awareness Like The Sun Shines On Things – They’re Transformed

Go on. Answer. Keep answering. I bet you have multiple answers for each. Dig deep. Keep going until you exhaust the possibilities. Notice what you find and how it makes you feel. Do you like what you feel? Notice what you notice. This is an opportunity to become aware.

Did you get some answers? I bet most of your answers are one’s you have told or said to yourself and others many times over and over during your lifetime. These reasons are excuses and blames for why you aren’t where you want to be yet. These reasons are your story.

These answers are the stories you have been telling and believing and creating over again and again in your life. It is comfortable even if it hurts. You are used to these. These are thought habits. Chronic, old thought habits which may or may not have originated with you.

Awareness Allows Us To Observe Ourselves In Action And Change

This is the very thinking you must stop and change. This is the very negative thinking you must switch to positive. You must eliminate the why’s you are not able, the blames and the excuses and all the reasons for why not and begin to emphasize what you can do.

In the next post I’ll share with you some of the powerful approaches you can take to eliminate the negative, focus on the positive and make your goals and dreams come true. Meanwhile, do the exercise. Discover your excuses. Dig deep. Enjoy the process of illumination.

Turn the light on in a closed shuttered room and the darkness flees. Turn the light on your negative reasoning and it can flee too. Stop making excuses and blames and start making positive declarations and mantras. Enjoy, delight and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

2 Reasons You Are Stuck And Can’t Get Anywhere

“Why don’t some people make things happen fast enough? Why aren’t they creating or manifesting what they want? If the Law Of Attraction worked how come some people, perhaps even you, are struggling and not getting what you want? What is up with that?

Two simple reasons. Excuses and blames rule the day for some. Those people unfortunately never get too far. When you make excuses for yourself and or blame yourself, or anyone or anything outside yourself, you don’t help yourself. You keep things away.

When you whine and complain, excuse and blame you get more of the same back. Bird of a feather flock together. Like attracts like. It is simple. You must be what it is you want to attract FIRST. For some people this concept is difficult to wrap one’s head around.

Quit Beating Yourself Up You Are Not A Finished Product

How do I become something I am not presently but that I want in the future? You must become its essence. This is why you act ‘as if’ you already have it. This is exactly the reason you live with gratitude now. This is why mindset, attitude and feelings are so important.

Become it, now, in your mind and someday you will have it in reality. Most likely not overnight because everything takes some time. Plants take time to grow from seeds. Keep the faith and know with certainty it is yours and you will make it happen. Be certain!

Thoughts precede feelings. Feelings precede right inspired actions. Right inspired actions precede success habits. Successful habits precede the results you want. Keep in mind, YOU are making happen what you want rather than attracting it. Get it? You are doing it!

You Are A Work In Progress – Celebrate And Delight

People who hope or rely on luck don’t make it either. We make our own breaks. Attitude is everything. Luck and hope comes from the outside. If you hope to get it you most likely never will. You must be certain you will make it happen not luck into it. It is all your doing!

The second reason is comparison. People compare the distance between where they are and where they want to be. Stop it! Stop it right now. Keep your eye on your purpose while simultaneously focusing on the right inspired actions step that gets you there.

One inspired step at a time. When hiking or mountain climbing it is advised you not look at the peak but at your feet and each step you take. When you look at the peak you notice how far away it seems. Your steps are immediate and you can control each. Focus on steps.

Losers Fix The Blame Winners Fix What Caused The Problem

Inspired right action comes from having the right mindset and the positive wonderful feelings. Then your brain, your intuition, you inner resourcefulness kicks in. Your Reticular Activating System works to find matches on the outside for the good going on inside.

Your RAS is working anyway. Either finding matches for how far away things are, for blames and excuses, whines and complaints or for the positive ‘life is wonderful I can do it’ thoughts. You are in charge of which it looks for by what you focus on repeatedly.

You inform your own brain what you want to create and attract more of by what you presently think and feel. It is all your doing. Don’t blame yourself if you aren’t where you want to be, change yourself. You can make it happen. Learn how by doing it.

A Flower Doesn’t Compete With Others Or Try – It Just Blooms

Focus on the positive. Fill your mind with positive, wonderful thoughts. Fill yourself with feelings of gratitude. Author your story to include what you want more of and imagine it ‘as if’ you already have it. Speak only to bless, heal, prosper and further your story.

If we don’t have will and persist positively, others who do will prevail. Success comes from having a successful mindset first and then going the distance. Everything takes some time so be patient and enjoy each moment along the way. Delight and feel marvelous!

Stop whining, complaining, excusing and blaming. Stop hoping and relying on luck. Stop comparing and being frustrated. What’s A Mody? How To Make It Work For You!

“Did you know thinking is a electro-chemical process? We are living batteries, self-contained energy sources, that rely on materials from the outside to sustain ourselves. When we think we release impulses and chemicals that produce our emotions.

It is a symbiotic. Nature provides for reciprocal relationships, just as the flower and butterfly, or bee, need each other. Our brain and body work together synchronously and sequentially in more amazing ways than we can fathom.

Instead of thinking we have a mind and a body perhaps we should say we have a mody. We are one bio-bag of incredible processes to say the least. When we think we produce emotions or feelings. Thought precede feeling and actions.

As Soon As You Can Accept The Idea … 

Those feelings then contribute to produce subsequent thoughts. Our INITIAL thoughts produce feelings. THEN those feelings determine what we think next. We cannot separate the two. If we think happy thoughts we get happier. We feel it.

Then we continue to think happy thoughts. Depending on whether we think positively or negatively we can spiral up into greatness and elation or down in to depression and lack of action. Negative thoughts produce negative sequences.

Learning to control our mody isn’t just about positive thinking but about learning to manage our thinking. Learning the act of management is almost more important than the thought itself. This is a crucial piece of understanding.

… That You Can Control Your Thoughts …

Once you learn to manage your thoughts you become more aware of the triggers that produce glorious and not so glorious feelings. You can take charge of the processes and direct them so you feel better, are more productive and happy.

More of the time! This is important because we become what we think about most often. Most people aren’t even aware of most of the thoughts they think during the day because they are on autopilot. They think from chronic, habitual programs.

These run at conscious threshold or below. They may not be horribly negative, but they are not positive or productive. Think of it this way, even if they were completely neutral they would fall into the negative category because they don’t support you.

… You Will Be Able To Create Your Own Happiness

This is a key element to understand. Either your thoughts, your beliefs, your attitude and the resulting emotions or feelings support you OR they do not. You want them to support you. You want to be able to absolutely choose and direct these.

Learning control takes discipline. It takes time. It is simple but not always easy. It is beyond worth it! BUT you only discover that as the process unfolds for you. It is the basis of creating, manifesting or attracting whatever you want.

When your mind and emotions are congruent and work hand in hand you can aim them are your target desires and go after and get them much more easily. When every aspect of you is aligned you are more powerful, efficient and able. You rock!

Life Is Like A Mirror – It Will Smile At You If You Smile At It

How can you tell what you are thinking? What are you feeling? Your feelings indicate, they inform you what kind of thoughts you are thinking. If you feel low energy, frustrated, angry or despair you are thinking negative thoughts. Get it?

It isn’t rocket science. If you feel less than glorious it is an alert signal that you are thinking less than glorious thought. Right then, as soon as you become aware you need to to take control and lead yourself into more glorious thought and feelings.

If you will do this, and you do it consistently and long enough you will develop the habit of control over your thoughts and feelings. Then you will actively be able to better create the life you want. You are already creating everything. You know that?

I’m Not What Happens To Me – I’m What I Choose To Become

All of your results, all of your life, is your doing. It is how you perceive, what you think, feel and act. Sure, things happen from the outside, but you react. Once you learn control you are better equipped to make your life what you want it to be.

Then you create, manifest or attract, whichever word works best for you, the life of your dreams. You aim at it and you bring it about because your thoughts lead to feelings, your feelings lead to actions, your actions become habits and then results.

You are either right now conditioned for success or for failure. Perhaps, you are stuck somewhere in the middle. If you want things to be different you have to change some things. If you want success you need to condition yourself for success.

I Use Memories – I Will Not Let Memories Use Me

Isn’t it time to get your mody going in the direction you want it to? Wouldn’t you like to get more positive consistent results? You can. You can the moment you decide to take charge. Once you do keep at it until you prevail. It doesn’t happen overnight.

It may seem as though nothing happens, just like the Chinese Bamboo plant I wrote about. It may seem that nothing is going on for some time, but then lookout as amazing transformations begin. Seeds take time to grow and to blossom. Hang in there.

There is only failure if you quit. If you throw in the towel. Otherwise, as long as you persist you are still moving forward. Then defeat is only temporary. Keep going. You can and will do it. The easiest way to make it all happen is through gratefulness.

Take Control Of Your Habits – You Take Control Of Your Life

Gratitude. Appreciation. Thankfulness. Enjoy and delight in everything. Love the wonderful moments and the not so great moments. Embrace both. One feels marvelous the other provides lessons. All is good. Once you get that, ALL IS good!

Filll your life enjoying little things. Make each moment special. Live this way and your life magically transforms. Stop comparing and start delighting. Smell the roses. Savor each second. Live with enthusiasm and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Know For Certain You Are On The Right Track

A major key to personal and professional change is to answer one simple question. When you figure this out almost everything else falls into place. This organizing question makes an incredible difference at how quickly and easily you live the life you want.

From my previous blogs, you already know, there are two ways to divide up the world. There is positive or negative; increase or decrease; closer or farther away. You get this, right? You are either predominantly positive or negative in your thoughts and feelings.

The organizing question you use to determine how you are doing from moment to moment, is simply this: How am I feeling? Do I feel good or not so good? Get it? The goal is to feel your best as much of the time as possible. That doesn’t mean bliss all the time.

Mind Is The Best Friend To Those Who Have Conquered It

It means to feel as good as you are able at any given moment. If you are down and out seek to feel a little bit better. Do whatever you are able to to improve how you feel. Move yourself inch by inch toward Nudge yourself in the ‘better feelings’ direction. Move!

These questions help you determine what is going on. Either you feel good or you don’t. That is what you want to be aware of. These questions help you illuminate what is presently going on with you so you can be more aware of your thoughts, feelings and actions.

Are you positive or negative most of the time? Are you focused on increase or decrease? Are you feeling good or feeling not so good? Discover this: Is what you are thinking, feeling, speaking, believing, and doing getting you closer to your goal or not?

Mind Is The Greatest Enemy To Those Who Haven’t Conquered It

Is what you are doing supporting you or preventing you from accomplishing your goal swiftly and with ease? Get it? If the answer is you are not feeling so good, or you’re negative, focused on decrease and moving further from your goal you know what to do.

Why would you engage in anything that didn’t support you in some way? If when you ask, you discover that what you are thinking, feeling, speaking and doing is limiting you in some fashion, wouldn’t it be wise to stop it? Why would you continue to limit yourself?

You know what you need to do. Change it. Shift to the other. It really is that simple. That is the bottom line. Are getting you closer or further away from your destination? Are you enjoying yourself of not? If not, do whatever positive, beneficial thing you can so you do.

A Positive Mind Looks For Ways It Can Be Done

Do whatever you are able to, to feel better. Find something to enjoy. Concentrate on the good, turn to gratitude and appreciation. Engage in activities that delight. The goal is to live the life that is most wonderful, most of the time. Get unhooked from drama and issues.

Find ways to turn resistance into assistance. Re-frame difficulties as learning. Look for the opportunity hidden within challenges. Stop and smell the roses. Take time with family and friends. Help someone who needs some help. Live, love and laugh more. Have fun.

If most of your time is spent feeling as good as you can isn’t that well worth it? If you mostly you enjoy life, have fun, are grateful for the people in your life and are able to focus on the good in all of your circumstances, you are living pretty well, aren’t you?

The Happiness Of Life Depends On The Quality Of Your Thoughts

Isn’t that worth it? If you live a good life wouldn’t that be wonderful? The answer to these last questions will provide you with great insight.  Your yes or no answer will reveal much about you, to you. Proceed from there. Meanwhile, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Your Story Holds You Back And Keeps You Down! You Must Do This!

“Most people spend most of their time focused on what they do not want. They have poor health, their pocket book suffers, they are in a lackluster job or their relationships are falling apart. These are the things they are focused on. Doom, gloom, boredom and suffering.

They share these stories with family and friends, co-workers and strangers. They tell their stories day in and day out about what isn’t working for them and why. Over and over again they repeat the same sad tales. They know their story. They repeat it often.

They have gotten really good at telling these stories.  It’s as if they were rehearsing lines in a play. They got them down. They say things like, ‘You think you have it bad’ and  ‘Let me tell you about my boss!’ ‘I can’t believe what my spouse did yesterday’.

You Choose Which Story You Tell – That Is Always Your Decision

‘Do you know what the bank did to me?’ My car, my doctor, my kid, the government. They talk about how things are screwed up. It is as they  brag about all that is wrong. They they can’t make ends meet, their health sucks, their job sucks, they can’t get a break. Whatever!

They focus on the bad news, the latest reports, gossip or things they cannot change. They even focus on things that do not involve them. All negative. All distractions. All rob them from the life they could have. Truly, because they are busy repeating these stories.

These are their battle stories. They take pride in their stories of what is wrong. Sometimes, they may laugh as they tale their tales. People get together and commiserate. They share their bad stories with each other. They even try to outdo each other at times.

You Write Your Story From The Choices You Make

The problem is EACH and EVERY time they tell these stories they are reliving the experience.  Over and over again the re-live their problems.  REMEMBER, you get what you focus on. We become what we think about most often.

So they end up creating the same thing over an over. Energy flows where your attention goes. Their book of life sucks. Each chapter is filled with trauma drama and they wonder why their life doesn’t improve. It can’t They are too busy creating it the same.

They create and attract more of the same problems into their life. Can it be any clearer? What you say is what you get. This is why I emphasize to speak only to bless, heal and prosper yourself and others.  If you say it, IT is so! You create your reality.

You Have The Power To Say – This Is Not How The Story Ends

If you want happiness or success or a better life you have to tell a better story. Your story has to be about what you want. You must turn your back on what you don’t want and focus only on what you do want. That is when the change will occur. It will begin right away.

That is when good things can rush in and begin to happen. You must rehearse what you do want and not what you don’t want. Whatever story you tell you are creating more of it! Re-live the experience you want to have more of not what you do not want. Change your story!

It is not about ignoring or blocking what you don’t like. It is about changing the frame and putting it in another perspective. A different perspective. Napoleon Hill said in every difficulty there is a seed of opportunity. Stop focusing on the adversity. Find the opportunity.

The Life You Live Is The Story You Repeatedly Tell

Every situation or circumstance or event in life can be looked at as a positive experience, or at least a positive learning experience or negative. One side can be emphasized more than the other. You must focus on the positive. It isn’t and won’t be easy at first.

Still, you can do it. You can learn to reframe your difficulties. You can find the positive and focus on that and look forward to learning and growing. You can expect good to happen when hope seems lost. Again, not easy, but doable. If you begin to do it and keep doing it.

You must break the habit of focusing on what sucks and emphasize what works and what you can find to be grateful for. Find the good, reframe the bad as a positive learning experience. Find the opportunities and the good. This is the new habit to develop.

Your Past Is Just Another Story – You Can Always Change It

Habits can be hard to break but they are not impossible to break. You overwrite old habits with new ones through correct practice and spaced repetition. Practice at every opportunity. Practice the new way until you get good at it. It isn’t comfortable at first.

It is unfamiliar because you don’t do it. It isn’t your habit yet. Many people don’t like to be uncomfortable but that is where your growth occurs. You won’t change by remaining the same! It will be a struggle because your tendency will be the old habit you are good at.

If you stick with the new one you will eventually master it. The question is do you want to create a new, better, more wonderful reality and get positive results or do you want more of the same old, same old? You must decide and take action if you want it better.

Every Moment You Create Or Attract – Is It What You Want

Practice telling new positive stories about how, though facing some challenging moments, you are finding new opportunities to explore. That good is around the corner even though you can’t yet see it and don’t know what it is. Expect things to work out. Learn and grow.

Discover what there is to be grateful for right now. Share how you are learning and growing and moving forward. Life has presented challenges for you to excel and succeed and you are finding yourself up to the challenge and making things work out for the better.

It is either positive or negative. You thoughts and beliefs and actions either support you and uplift you or they don’t and they drag you down. Which do YOU want more of? Manage your thoughts, your self-talk, your internal images, your feelings. Take charge.

Change Your Thoughts And You Change Your World

Create, vibrate and attract differently. You know what it is you don’t want so turn around and focus on what you do want. Imagine already having it, feel it, see it, say it. Focus on being what you want and feeling that as though it is already accomplished.

Make this your story. Become a can do person instead of a can’t do, troubled, burdened person. Created and attract the good things. Live and rehearse how you are making wonderful things happen. The choice is yours. The decision is yours each moment.

Be grateful, and stick with it. Keep rehearsing the positive and you will become more positive. It will get easier. Keep choosing the positive and choosing will get easier too. You will develop new habits that support you. Live, love laugh. Do it today! Change your story and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Stop Creating Trauma Drama And Crap In Your Life

“You try but screw up. Things don’t work out. You end up with crap. Have you felt like this? You’re spinning your wheels getting out of debt or overcoming difficulty? What on earth is going on and why is it so hard? Would you like to know what you can do to change this?

Would you like to know what is possibly going on? From one standpoint the answer is simple. Negative manifestation. The results you keep getting are not the results you want to get. So why does it keep happening? What must you do differently to change it?

Napoleon Hill said, ‘If you can conceive it and believe it you can achieve it.’ That’s what most people do to bring about disasters. If you are like most people it is because of what your focus in on. It is how you use your mind. We all tend to do this! Imagine the worst.

Our Feelings Are The Product Of What We Think

People don’t realize they are already powerful creators. We have been conditioned to believe that things just happen to us. It is true they do. We are taught to believe we have no control over our circumstances and to an extent this is accurate as well.

However, if you want to change your lot in life there are some simple things you must do. The first is to adjust your mindset and take 100% responsibility for everything that happens to you. You must understand you create it all. Even, if not completely true.

When you accept full responsibility for everything going on you begin to access your inner strengths and power. Even if you don’t actually create it, if you act as if it you do, if you accept responsibility for it you begin to have a say in it. Then you don’t blame or excuse.

Our Results Are The Product Of What We Think

Your mind begins to look for solutions because you are responsible. You are up for the task. If you got yourself into it you get yourself out of it. Most people won’t want to do this because of their prior younger conditioning. They want to blame others and things.

By blaming they miss out on tapping into their power. It is a natural tendency to blame and excuse, to point fingers, and find fault elsewhere. Blame and excuses doesn’t actually help anything. It doesn’t help to blame others or circumstances or oneself. Stop it!

Let go of the blame game. Accept the responsibility for what is and then shift your focus from what is going on to what you want to be going on instead. Move your attention from the crap to the potential. Focus on the desired outcome not present circumstances.

The Moment You Take Full Responsibility – Everything  Changes

When people have problems AND the reason most people do is that most people imagine the worst things they know can happen. They imagine the axe is  going to fall and it does. They have focused on the difficulty and worry and fear for the worst. Then they  get the worst.

They succeeded in helping make the bad thing happen. They created it. They supported it. They allowed it. Even though they didn’t want it they attracted it. In order to change your current reality from not so great to better or to great you must understand this principle.

Even if you don’t think it is true, if you accept it as if it were, and act accordingly, you will begin to experience positive change. You may create great positive change. But, to do so you must embrace it and live from it. You must understand it and change what you are doing.

You Cannot Escape The Consequences Of Your Thoughts

Here is the concept. The universe ONLY says yes. You get whatever you want or whatever you don’t want by what you put your attention on most. If you say ‘NO, I don’t want it’. You get more of it. If you say ‘Yes, I want it’. You get more of it. That is how it works.

You get back whatever you put out. Imagine standing in front of your bathroom mirror and you smile. What do you see reflected back at you? Imagine standing there and frowning. What do you see back at you? Now make a worried, anxious face. What is reflected back?

The principle is attraction. You attract back whatever you are. If you are worried about something you end up with more to worry about. Most people are exquisite creators of crap. Crap magnets! They want it to be different but they keep doing the same things.

You Are Already A Powerful Creator – Now Own Up To It

If you do the same things again and again you don’t get different results. If you frown into the mirror you don’t get back smiles. It would be silly to expect to. To get smiles you must be smiling! If you accept this and determine to work with this you can make changes.

People are successful at creating crap. They are successfully creating crap.  Success breeds success. The more you practice something the better you become. People get really good at creating poverty, lack of love, trauma drama and lots of negative experiences.

Are you tired of trauma drama? If you are getting lackluster results you can change it. If you like what you are getting keep on getting it. If you don’t enjoy your present circumstances and you want better then there are things you can put into motion that help.

You Are Already A Powerful Attractor – Now Own Up To It

You can stop creating the life you don’t want and begin to create the life you do want using the very same process you have already been using, mentioned by Napoleon Hill. Instead of conceiving or imagining dire results imagine what you want instead. See the good.

Use the very same process that you’ve already been using to get what you don’t want in life to begin getting what you do want. Take control of your mind to focus on what it is you want. Maintain the focus on what is good and what is positive. Keep this focus!

Then believe that you’re going to get that, without doubt. Believe that with certainty and you end up bringing that about. Belief comes from maintaining continual focus on it while affirming it in your mind using positive strong emotions. Feel happy. Feel good.

Decide What Kind Of Creator And Magnet Your Are Going To Be

When you fear the consequences of crap results, THAT is a strong emotion. Fear, worry, sadness, anger lock you up. When you think and imagine the worst and feel frustrated or lost you combine your imagination with strong emotions. This is how you create it!

To get the best results you need to imagine while feeling the best feelings. Confident, happy, enthused, exhilarated. Use the same formula but with positive different components. Imagine what you want while feeling with confident. Consider this for a moment.

Have you ever known for sure something bad was going to happen and it did? It’s like you predicted it. Some people are certain they won’t have enough money at the end of the month and they worry about it. They feel dread. At the end of the month, guess what?

If You Aren’t In Charge – Who Did You Give The Charge To

Frequently, it turns out as expected. These people, you and I, are using our minds powerfully to succeed at getting exactly what we do not want whenever we do this. We could be using our minds to get better results, but frankly, no one ever really told us we could.

We grew up blaming and worrying about circumstances. We weren’t told we could be the master of our circumstances. So we practiced creating and attracting crap a lot. Oh, yes, sometimes we also make some pretty good things happen but not consistently.

Life is okay instead of incredible.  So, this is why you create crap in your life. You’re using the method that works. It always works. It doesn’t stop working.  The results you end up with, depend on how you use your mind. YOU get what YOU focus on. Get it? Yes, maybe?

What You Feel Is What You Get – You Get What You Focus On

The easiest way to change it is to focus on feeling your best. Do those little and positive things that bring you more enjoyment throughout each day. Find ways to smile and laugh more. Remember, you get back what you put out. Appreciate what you have. Enjoy!

Be truly grateful. Feel it. Let the mirror give you back wonderful feelings by feeling wonderful first. How do you feel wonderful, you ask? BY what you focus on. If you worry about crap you will feel crappy and worried. You must change your thoughts. Get it? Maybe?

You must change what you give your energy and attention to. Maybe you have to change your thoughts dozens of times in an hour but that is what you must do. If you do it you will gain control of it eventually. You get back what you practice. Success breeds success.

See It – Declare It – Speak it – Make It Happen – Bless Heal Prosper

Think positive, happy thoughts. Train yourself to do this. No one can do it for you. You have to do it. It requires commitment and persistence AND the pay off is spectacular. Think better thoughts. Smile into the mirror. Notice from moment to moment your feelings.

Are you feeling positive or not? Are you feeling good? If not shift your thoughts so that you do. Thoughts precede action. It is difficult to go uphill thinking downhill thoughts. Your thoughts determine how and what you feel. There are actions you can do to feel better.

Focus on the good you already have and feeling grateful. Take some time for yourself. Get a massage. Have a bath. Read something nice. Have an enjoyable meal. Skip, sing, get outdoors. Help someone else feel good. Change your mind, change your state of being. Feel better.

Accept Total Responsibility For Your Life And Everything About It

Don’t wait. Those who wait – wait. Be proactive. If you want to feel better you can’t wallow in the muck. You have to get yourself out of the muck. THEN leave the muck alone. Drop it. Let it go and move to where you’d rather be. Some people leave and miss the muck. STOP!

If it is to be it is up to you. You can change it. You can do it. If you realize you alone are responsible for everything you will take charge because you don’t expect anyone else to swoop in to save you. You don’t expect things to magically change on their own. You do it!

You keep doing it. You live from courage and discipline and positively charged power. Positive thinking may not solve everything but it is far better than negative thinking. If you want to feel great you have to think great too! Smile and the mirror smiles back!

Only You Will Get You Where You Want To Go

At any moment you can WONDER what is in your mirror. Take a look. If it isn’t what you want – make it so it is. Create what you want. Change yourself so what is reflected back IS what you want. Be the change you want more of. Enjoy the best feelings you have. Then keep on smiling! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Expert Reveals: How To Use Your Attention For Success And Happiness

“When it comes to making your dreams come true what is the most important element? What must you be clear on and what do you not need to know? These are important considerations because some people just can’t seem to make much happen as they would like to.

You must know what you want! First and foremost you must be clear about your Definite Chief Purpose (DCP). You must know what you want and focus on what you want and avoid thinking about what you do not want. You get what you focus on! Stop thinking on problems.

Think about the end result. Know specifically what you want and know WHY you want it. The why is the motivator. What will having what you want allow you to be, do or have? Will it result in more freedom, love, luxury, comfort, well-being, health, or fun? What?

Whether You Think Yes I Want It Or No I Don’t – You Attract It 

What will having accomplished your DCP do for you? This is important. Focus on having accomplished it and all the good reasons. Feel all the great feelings you’d feel if you had it right this moment. Imagine that you do. In your mind it is always the present.

Don’t put it off into the future. Imagine yourself already having the good you desire. See it clearly, in detail and feel all the wonderful feelings. This is your focus. The end result. The goal achieved! This is what you imagine. See it from your eyes – what you would see?

For example, you can see yourself sitting in your dream car. Better yet, imagine what it feels like to drive the dream car. See through the windshield, see your hands on the wheel, feel the grip, feel the seats, smell that new car smell, hear the engine and your positive self-talk.

Whether You Think Yes I Want It Or No I Don’t – You Create It 

Hear what others say as they congratulate you on fulfilling your desire. Make it vivid in all your senses. Sight, sound, feelings, taste and touch. Make it as real. Feel AS IF you already have it. Drive around feeling like you are driving your dream car. Yes! That’s it!

Focus on what you want. Where people screw it up BIG TIME is they begin to wonder how they will ever make it happen. How they will afford it, do it, get it and be it? The begin to worry they might not have what it takes. They get concern  with the how it will happen.

How it will happen is YOU will make it happen. YOU will ultimately do the right things at the right time to bring it about. YOU SHOULD NOT concern yourself with how you will do it. ONLY concern yourself with what you want, the feelings and why you want it.

Whether You Think I’m Rich  Or I Am Poor – You Attract It 

For most people their brains go haywire on this. That is because you have been conditioned from early on to work on the how. Your parent, teachers, friends, everyone, most all of us were brought up concerned with how can we make something possible.

We listened to our parents worry over bills and money and how to make ends meet. How to afford a new home. How to get an A in a class at school. How to throw a baseball better or how to be a better skateboarder or computer geek. How to get a better paying job.

The people who get good at anything and get to the top do so because of their desire and passion. The want it and know why they want it. They live it and breath it. The keep doing and as a result they improve. Action, repeated correct actions, bring about the results.

Whether You Think I Am Healthy Or I Am Sick – You Create It 

It begins inside first with their mindset. The know they WILL have this. They are certain. They pour everything into making it happen. The find mentors, the observe others who successfully do what they want to. They do not let anything stop them. They keep at it.

Those born to wealth and privilege rarely concern themselves with whether or not they will be it or have it. They know they will. They know they can afford it so price is not an issue. Their mindset is they are entitled to it, they deserve it and will have it. This can be great!

You too are entitled and deserve it as a person born on this planet. Pompous entitlement isn’t good for anyone but understanding that you have as much right as anyone else is important. If it is possible for one person it is possible for you. Keep this in mind. Know this!

Whether You Think I Am Smart Or I Am Stupid – You Are It 

Mindset rules everything. It determines how you feel and how far you will go. If you never concern yourself with not having it imagine how much easier it is to actually have it. You bring it about because you are convinced you will and act accordingly. Faith is crucial.

Your mindset should be positive, powerful and unstoppable. You should focus solely on what you want and not get distracted by anything else. Ultimately, you will get your DCP! It will come in the right time so stay with it. When is the right time? When you get it!

Stop putting your focus on anything that doesn’t support or contribute to your making it happen. Get very clear about this. Remember, how is not important.  I’ll share more on this in upcoming blogs. We become what we think about. We get what we focus on.

Whether You Think I Can Or You Think I Can’t – You Are Right

Focus on feeling good. Focus on enjoying your life right now. Focus on being grateful that you already have your DCP. Feel it. Be grateful for everything you do have right now too. Appreciate the challenges and blessings. All of it is worth learning from and enjoying.

Energy flows where your attention goes. You direct it. How you spend your time is important! Spend it feeling blessed and enthusiastically. The better you feel, the more of your time, with your purpose in mind, the swifter you are able to bring it about! So relax, enjoy, and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
