Start A Wow Diary

“There is another practice you will want to engage in that brings about great delight. As with any of these approaches you only get as much in return as you are willing to put into them. If you invest in this practice, plant the seed and nurture it you will reap a bounty.

If you dabble or do little or nothing don’t expect much to be different or great results. The Law Of Attractions states like attracts like. You get back what you put out, or in this case, into it. Dedicate yourself, commit to it, and you can expect a good return. You’ll have to trust.

Trust until you try it. Once you prove it to yourself by seeing it through you will want to keep doing it and encourage others to as well. So what is this approach? Keep a WOW diary. Yup, start and keep a WOW diary. What on earth is that, you ask. It is simple.

When You Are Thankful For The Little Things They Aren’t So Little

In this diary or journal you notate, or keep track of all the times something great and unexpected happens. It may be big or small. Especially notate all the small ones. Most people miss those waiting for the big ones. You find a penny. Pick it up! Do a happy dance.

Thank the universe! Make a big deal out of it. BE HAPPY. Why? Because, as you do this, you train your brain to look for more pennies. Not only more pennies, but more money. You provide great signal strength when you make it a big celebration.

You are informing your brain, your RAS, to be on the look out for money. So when you make a big deal out of finding money, in any amount, you are even more likely to find more of it. Some people are so tuned into money they find it all the time. You can too.

Appreciate The Little Things – There Are Many

Celebrate whenever something good happens. You get some good news, a letter or a phone call. Shout hooray. Do your happy dance. You get a discount at a store, or an unexpected extra discount move those feet and shake those hips. Happy dance around!

Unexpected, coupons arrive in the mail to help you save money, be happy! Stay happy. Celebrate those free samples you get in the mail and in the stores. Savor those tasty treats in supermarkets as gifts from the divine just for you! Say yes. Accept all. Receive these!

If someone wants to take you to lunch or dinner. Don’t say no, you shouldn’t say ‘THANKS That would be great!’ When good things happen say thanks. Receive it. Most people stumble around and say, ‘you really shouldn’t’ when people want to do nice things for them.

Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems

We have been conditioned to think we don’t deserve it. We are conditioned to think a penny isn’t money or worth much. We do deserve it and it’s all worth it! Condition yourself to find the good wherever you are. Make it a habit to say YES to the universe!

Celebrate the expected and unexpected good as it arrives. Write it in a journal. ‘I found a penny! Hooray!’ ‘Today these great things happened to me!’ Linger in those wonderful  moments. Create the positive, high vibration and LOUD signal value to inform your brain.

‘MORE! Bring me more good!’ Your brain doesn’t know or care whether it is a penny or a million dollars. It only cares about the feelings you have. Attach good feelings to the things that happen to you! Celebrate finding money whatever the denomination! Get it?

One Day You’ll Look Back And The Little Things Were Big Things

It doesn’t care whether you visualize a happy future or see it in reality. The brain doesn’t know the difference. If you worry or have bad circumstances the brain doesn’t know or care, it only responds to the feelings you are generating. BAD! Yuck! Give MORE!

To the brain it is all one and the same. It doesn’t care whether you are happy or sad. It will give you whatever you ARE. So what are you most of the time? How are you feeling? What are you thinking? It will return to you whatever you focus on.

This is why some people seem cursed while others seem blessed. Focus determines what the energy is. If you are focused on your problems you get more problems. Focus on blessings and get more blessings! It really is a no-brainer. It is that simple!

I Am Grateful – Thankful – Blessed – And Happy 

Some people worry and fret and think, ‘nothing good ever happens for me’. Their brain will continue to prove that to them. Others feel blessed and lucky all the time. Their brain proves that for them. Whatever you predominantly feel is what you get back more of.

Want good in your life. Be happy and celebrate everything. Feel incredible and more will come your way. Feel bad and more funk occurs. Haven’t you ever noticed this? Whatever you want you can have. It is all up to you. Attitude determines your altitude.

Develop a happy, powerful, positive winner attitude and watch your life change. DO it today. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Your Wins Count Count Your Wins

“Have you ever noticed that some people just seem successful. They are confident and things go right for them. It seems things come naturally and easily for them. They just ‘got it’! What they actually have is a winner’s attitude. They believe they ARE successful.

Another fantastic practice I have suggested is to keep a Success Diary. Record your daily wins. Write them down. Take inventory. Record and reward yourself for each win. Remember them. Wins   can be anything, small or large. You count wins you decide to do.

It is based on intentions. You set an intention to do something for the day. When you complete it you count it as a win. For example, you decide make your bed. Once you make it notate it. You decide to clean your office or the kitchen and you do. That is a win! Congrats!

Winners Don’t Do Different Things But They Do Things Differently

Whatever you intend to do and follow through on is a win. Pat yourself on the back for the follow through and note it. Most people don’t value the things they do that they say they will. They don’t make anything about it special. Yes, you want to. Celebrate!

Build a history of winning. Keep track of the successes you have each day. Intend to do 3, then 5, then 10 or more. Add to it gradually. It is a great way to increase you success ratio and feel good at the same time. Success breeds success. Success breeds success attitude!

If you can be successful in this you can be successful in other important areas too. Build successful completion as a habit that supports you. The more you succeed the more competent you become. Competence breeds confidence.

Losers Say They’ll It Do But Don’t Winners Do It Without Saying

Then success breeds more success. It is cyclic! Keep feeling good about being successful and keep writing it in your daily journal. You can later add larger tasks. You can have weekly or monthly goals too. It is all good. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

You Can Become The Person You Want To Be Before Actually Becoming That Person!

“Pretend and master. It is what method actors do. They create a character from the inside. They think the thoughts and feelings of the person they are portraying. ‘Act as if’ is a way to become the person you want to be in advance of actually becoming that person.

You pretend and master. If you are new to my blog you might wish to refer to some of the recent earlier posts. Suffice to say you are mentally and emotionally rehearsing what it is like to be, do and have exactly what you want. You use your imagination to create it.

It works because you align you mindset, emotions and behaviors. You congruently act as if you already are, the good, you want to be in the future. You inform your own subconscious that ‘this’ IS what I want. You rehearse. You practice. Then, you get what you practiced.

We Are What We Pretend To Be – Be Careful What You Choose 

It is pretty cool! You get what you focus on. You become what you think about most often. Keep it up and evolve yourself into that person by acting as if you already are that person. If you want to be happy, act happy. If you want to be rich, act rich. Do you follow?

Many of those who already are personally and/or professionally, successful do this naturally. They simply don’t know any other way to be. They can’t imagine any other way of doing it. Others do this purposefully to create what they want. They intend it!

It IS their reality. Happiness brings more happiness. Success attracts more success. Money brings more money. Birds of a feather flock together. Like attracts like. Mindset and attitude pave the way and the rest follows. It works. All you have to do is legitimately try it on.

Whether You Realize It Or Not – You Are Always Choosing

Today, and for the future, rehearse this. Try on this mental frame for yourself. It is another useful way to think about things and organize your life experience. It is both practical and powerful. It helps you notice more of what you are putting out there.

Awareness of what you are putting out, or ‘vibrating at’ helps you manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It helps you learn and set reliable success habits by knowing when and where you are on target or off track. It allows you to calibrate your efforts.

Ancient masters from early times on have either alluded to or directly stated the following. You are a broadcasting and receiving station. You are a walking perpendicular antennae on the planet. You send to and receive from the universe and others.

Complete Life Transformation Is Only A Decision Away

Whether you believe that to be true of not, pretend to be a broadcasting and receiving  station. Whether or not it is true pretend it just the same. Again, remember, this exercise is about organizing your awareness of what you are thinking and doing.

As a broadcasting station what are you broadcasting to the world? Is it positive? Is it happy? Is it success? Is it rich? Is it fun? Is it love? Is it peace? Is it glorious? What precisely is it you put out there day and night? What are you ‘transmitting’ to others and the world?

What do you offer? What do you transmit? What are you radiating? What do others feel, think and notice about your presence? You can manage what you broadcast and you should want to. You want to emit the very best, the very highest, vibrational frequency. Get it?

Allow Yourself To See What You Don’t Allow Yourself To See

What are you sending out there by what you think, feel and do? Then, just as importantly what are you receiving? What messages are you allowing in? How are you spending your time? Are you being filled with positivity or negativity? Are you purposeful or drifting.

Are you focus or distracted? What gets past you and into your mind? What are the influences you court or tolerate? What is the energy you surround yourself with and fill yourself up from?  All of this makes a big difference in how you go about your day and your life.

Are you filling your mind with positive, inspiring, motivational material that leads you to thinking, feeling and doing better? Are you more positive and productive as a result of what you pay attention to. Do you read daily and surround yourself with positive people?

OR do you listen to negative news and gossip? Do you waste time on social media paying arguing with others or filling your mind with negativity? How do you utilize your time and what are you filling your mind with? Are you hanging around with negative influences?

‘Act as if’  is a template, a mindset, a frame that you adopt to be aware of you how you move in the world. Use it to determine what you are focused on most of the time. We become what we think about most. This is a critical practice to adopt.

Acting Is Pretending To Be Someone Else – Act As If You Rock

Learn about yourself. Recognize what you do that holds you back and that moves you forward. Do less of what holds you back and more of what moves you forward. You will make better progress. Learn to do what is necessary for positive advancement and do it.

Are you helping yourself or hindering yourself? Do you help others, encourage them, and celebrate their successes or are you envious and resentful? Do you help others or try to prevent them, or step on them to get ahead? Which is it? All this is useful information.

You get further faster by cooperating with yourself, aligning yourself and becoming congruent AND by cooperating with others. Turn resistance into assistance so you can succeed more readily. Remember, what you resist persists. Can you feel it? I bet you can.

You Are The Master Of Your Fate And The Captain Of Your Soul

Do this and succeed. Start now. Make it part of your daily ritual. Success habits need to be nurtured and developed routinely and consistently. They don’t develop haphazardly. Decide today! Change your life for the better by making changes in what you think and do.

Implement practices that move you closer to being who you want to be. Practice and rehearse success and you become it. Think the thoughts and feel the feelings of the happy, successful and richer you. Live it first on the inside and you can become it on the outside.

Results stem from and flow from inner processes. From within to without IS how it works. Get your head and heart on right and the rest will follow. Adjust your attitude. Activate your attitude to serve and support you. No one can do it for you but you. Do it today.

Happiness Is Letting Go And Celebrating Life For Everything It Is

Delight in everything. Enjoy the ease and the difficulties. Find the good hiding within everyone and all circumstances. Seek the positive and you will find it. Look for smiles and more laughter in each day. Decide to have fun, to enjoy, to explore, adventure and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Do You Know How To Stop Suffering And Start Living?

“Why do many people suffer and feel in pain? Often, it is something we do. If you suffer or are frustrated would you like to learn a new way to be, think and do? Would you like to end most of your suffering and begin to feel much better more often.

Much suffering is caused by how we use our minds. It is what we focus on. We can put an end to lots of personal suffering by changing how we use or mind and what we focus on. We can create new thought habits. There are those who can shut out pain and suffering.

Certain meditators and spiritual practitioners learn to control their focus of attention to such a degree that they can withstand much physical pain. They train so they can also endure mental and emotional pain and overcome it. They gain control, they take charge.

Why Am I Happy – I Feel Grateful Thankful And Blessed Every Day

We use correct repetition. What is correct repetition? It is doing the right thing, the right way, over again. We repeat it. We can practice the piano or a golf swing, for example, correctly or incorrectly. If we want to get good we need to do it the correct way each time.

By using correct repetition, consistently, we engage in the practice for a long enough time to make it a new reliable habit. That is how habits are born or acquired. It takes about a month to begin to form a new habit. 30 days from now you can be wonderfully different!

That is a guideline time for forming new habits. It depends on you. If you do the right thing consistently for a long enough period of time you will wire it in. Once the new habit begins to form it gets easier and easier. You enjoy it more and more! Okay, now, back to the pain.

The Smile On My Face Means I Appreciate My Blessings

Comparison creates pain. We compare ourselves to others; how tall or short; fat or thin we are; how good looking or not good looking; how rich or poor or what kind of things they have that we don’t. We try to keep up with the Jones. We hurt because we compare.

We compare where we are to where we want to be. We decided we want to work with the Law of Attraction, then we compare how fast or slow we got what we are working on. If it is not fast enough we suffer. If we don’t yet have it we complain it isn’t working.

We compare time frames.  We compare where we are today to  how far we have yet to go. If it is a long way off we suffer or get frustrated Most often, what we compare causes our suffering. It can be used it to find out how you are better off. You can us it to feel better too.

A Beautiful Day Begins With A Beautiful Mindset

Compare today to how you were before. Notice how you have evolved. Determine how far you have moved ahead and how blessed you have become. Look back and connect the dots with what you didn’t have to what you now do have. Feel fortunate. Use it wisely.

Make comparison work for you instead of against you. Live, laugh love and celebrate.  Drop painful comparison, let it go. Begin appreciating where you are. Be filled with gratitude for who you are, what you are, how you are, when you are, and where you are.

If you can come to understand that everything is perfect right at this moment you will always feel blessed. Yes, you weren’t brought up believing that, most likely. You were probably brought up to strive to get ahead and complain about circumstances not to your liking.

Every New Day Is An Opportunity To Feel Blessed For All Of It

I was. If you are able to adopt the mindset that everything is perfect then you are always blessed. It doesn’t mean you can’t change it, it means changing it is part of being perfect. Challenges are blessings. It means there is always something good about it right now.

You can find a lesson to learn from, or the seed of an opportunity that might germinate and take hold if you allow it and nurture it. Nothing is over, we are always in a process. We are always right where we are in this process. Let go, accept and enjoy it all.

It is a journey and wherever we are along the way is an exploration and an adventure. Adventures have ups and downs. It is what makes many carnival rides fun. Life can be fun too. Stop suffering by comparing and start living large by accepting.

The Situation Will Ultimately Be To Your Benefit – So Be Happy

The moment you start acting like like is a blessing is the moment it will start to feel like one. Discover the thousands of reasons you have to feel blessed. Choose to feel blessed! Choose to feel happy. Choose to feel exited. Choose to feel grateful and appreciative. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Your Unconscious Habits Are Running You For Better Or Worse!

“There is much we can do to being to feel better and think better more of the time.  Many methods are common sense. Wisdom that’s been around for a long time. Some of these include; help others, tend a garden, spend time enjoying children or pets.

I have shared many of these and I’ll share more in upcoming posts as well. Welcome to Part 2 of Why You Must Change Your Unconscious Habits Now! Let’s continue exploring. Take a walk, get some exercise. Get a massage. Gift yourself. Take a bath. Swim.

Do things that naturally help you to feel better. Read an inspiring book. Seek and hang out with other positive people. Watch an inspiring and motivating video or listen to an audio. Listen to upbeat music. Attend a motivational event. Go to church or temple.

Happiness Is Not In Our Circumstances – We Only Think It Is

The list goes on. The point is to do those things that help you feel good more often. The goal is to feel as best as you are able most of the time. Most of these methods are tried and true. They work for most people most of the time. They can work for you.

When you feel good you naturally think more positively. When you think positively you naturally feel better. It is cyclic. SO DO BOTH! Do those things that help you feel your best AND think your best. Use affirmations and mantras to guide you throughout each day.

Repeat positive affirmations with lot’s of positive emotional passion and enthusiasm. Shout, sing, dance and chant them. The more oomph the better you feel. Choose simple, powerful phrases that uplift you and repeat them over out loud. Emotions drive everything.

Happiness Is Inside Of Us – Happiness Originates Within

Once you get the thinking and feeling going you must take inspired actions. You have to act. You must do and behave in accord with how you are thinking and feeling. This is part of a natural process. We tend to do or not do based on our feelings. Remember this.

People claim they don’t feel motivated. They may not but you can’t let feelings stop you. This is why you must commit and use will power to do it anyway. You move forward in spite of not feeling like it or wanting to. It is good for you. Use the power affirmations.

It is good for you so you do it regardless. Most people won’t. Those who make lasting changes, will. This is WHY you work on your thoughts and your feelings so that they begin to congruently align more often. So you think and feel like doing it. Get some backbone!

Happiness Is What We Are – Not What We Add To Us

Even when you don’t feel like it forge ahead. History is filled with countless examples of people who kept going even though they didn’t feel like it; or they had no evidence they would succeed; or most everyone they knew were against them in any number of ways.

They prevailed because they didn’t stop. They didn’t let feelings, doubt, fear, the FACTS, the opposition, family, friends or armies keep them from doing what they wanted to do and needed to. Some of us won’t because it means we can’t watch our favorite TV show.

We have excuses and fears, doubts and blames. Enough already! Either you want to change or you don’t. You need to get to the point where you ‘think you can’ so some day you can say, ‘I knew I could!’ There is a reason for the exercises and practices I share.

A smile Is A Language Even A Baby Can Talk – Smile More Often

Others have shared these or similar practices and principles. They work, but only if you apply them. You only get a six pack if you put the effort in. The good news is mind power, positive thoughts, work. Your attitude does determine your altitude. Use it. Keep using it.

It determines how far you go. Read, fill your mind with positive, inspirational, material so you think not only, ‘I can’ but ‘I will!’ Then put into practice what you are learning so it becomes part of your neurology. It becomes you. It becomes who you are. It is you!

It isn’t information sitting lifeless in a book, it is you! It is your approach to life. It is your practice and your pleasure. As you change YOU physically change. If you want to become a positive, powerful, productive person you can. Then, that is who and what you are.

You grow the neural pathways. You have the thoughts, feelings, actions and habits of a powerful, positive, productive person. BUT only if you think, feel and act your way there. No one else can do it for you. If you want it you must engage. You must do it and keep at it.

We Are Shaped By Our Thoughts – What We Say Is What We Get

You persist until you get there. Enjoy the journey all along the way, come what may. Obstacles, challenges, problems, failures, whatever you want to call them, you can learn from each and keep on going. You use your 5% to influence the 95%. It is deliberate. It is a choice!

Then you get your 95% working for you. It isn’t easy, especially at first, but it is worth it and it IS possible. You can do it! Some have beginners luck then encounter old habits. You have to find the gumption to push on through. You can and you will if you want to!

When you want it bad enough you will make it happen. History’s champions proved that and continue to. Decide to do it. Do not let anything stop you. Think ‘I am going to do it! Period! That’s It!’ Then do it. Remember, you can do anything if you make it small enough.

Your Body Hears Everything Your Mind Says – Stay Positive

You eat an elephant bite by bite. Small efforts in the right direction are better than none. They result in more substantial change than taking too big of steps and quitting. Some bite off more than they can chew and give up. Don’t! Be smart. Tiny is better than nothing!

Consistent, correct repetition over time is how we learn anything. Knitting, weaving, being confident, swimming, juggling, playing piano, speaking, walking, reading, writing, riding a bike, driving a car. This is how we learn to do anything and everything. Repetition!

This is how we master what we do. It is the natural process of learning! We use the same process that originally programmed us, and that we have used to learned anything in life. This time we do it with conscious volition. We do it with purpose, ON purpose!

Some People Are Ready To Change While Others Are Not

Change may seem difficult, at first, until you build momentum for it. I’ll provide more on all this in future posts. Go back and read earlier posts. Re-read and fill your mind. Study them. It may not seem easy BUT it is simple. It is so simple many people discount it.

Change is a life long process. It is evolution. You may never be perfect all at once. There are success habits and unsuccessful habits. The goal is to make most of your 95% habitual, automatic programming work for you. Replace poor habits with success habits.

You won’t do it all at once but small changes in the right direction can produce substantial and incredible results. As you change more good things become available and it gets easy and quicker to change. You evolve and become more accustomed to changing positively.

Change Your Thoughts And You Change Your LIfe

One of the best ways to feel great is to feel gratitude for all that you already have, no matter how little or seemingly insignificant. Feel appreciative for who you are, what you do, what you have, who you know, everything. Count your blessings often each day.

It will help you think and feel better! It will help you think and feel great. Feel grateful, really feel it! Take inventory and actually count your blessings. Smile more, laugh more. Think delightful thoughts. Enjoy it all and you will change in wonderful ways. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Whatever Your Excuse Doesn’t Matter: Change It Part 5

“Some people have the belief that change is difficult. Some think that change is easy for others but difficult for them. Some people believe without pain there is no gain and it must hurt to change. Others believe you must wallow around in your pain and hurt endlessly.

Some believe you must understand why you are the way you. Whole schools of therapy arose for this purpose. Uncover why you are broken. Some people believe they are broken; that they sabotage themselves; that they are afraid of failure; or afraid of success.

Whatever one believes you can divide the beliefs into two groups; support beliefs and non-supportive beliefs. Either they support you, uplift you and help you move forward or they limit you pull you down and inhibit your movement. Increase or decrease – that’s it!

Belief Creates The Actual Fact – Positive Or Negative

It doesn’t matter why you have limiting beliefs. You know you have them. You were born. You grew up. It is as simple as that. Accept it! Move on. Learn new beliefs! Learn to respond to triggers instead of reacting to them and your life will improve immensely. It will!

Stop trying, stop  wallowing and trying to figure out why things are they way they are. Decide this is the moment when you change and move forward. Beliefs are either about increase, can do and will do, what is possible. They are positive and you feel good thinking them.

There are those that are about decrease, can’t do, won’t do and what you think is impossible. These are mostly negative and you feel less than glorious or down right bad when you think these. Neither beliefs are true. Either they are useful and serve a purpose or not.

In The Sky There Is No Distinctions Of East And West …

If you believe your beliefs are true, gospel, and unadulterated reality THAT is the first belief you might wish to examine and change. Otherwise, you probably aren’t going to bother doing anything because your beliefs dictate you instead of you dictating them.

You are a victim of your beliefs instead of their master. The most desirable outcome is to learn to become the master of your thoughts. YOU think them, Thoughts SHOULD NOT think you. You can learn to be the master of your thinking and your destiny.

The beliefs you currently hold are habits of thought. You thought these over and over again at one time until they became automatic. Triggers from the outside initiate the process. Some external or internal stimulus occurs and you react out of habit. Pretty much it!

… People Create Distinctions In Their Own Mind And Believe Them

Thoughts arise, feelings follow. What you think determines how you feel. Then what you feel determines your next thoughts. This is how we spiral into negativity. We could have spiraled into positivity the same way by thinking positive thoughts.  So we want to change this.

We want to end the old limiting belief habits and adopt new ones. We make new habits the same way we did the original ones. This time, however, we are doing it consciously. We decide we want to change them. Earlier, we just wired them in without choosing.

Now we choose. When we do, guess what. The old habits arise and it feels tough. Our decision is the stimulus. The old beliefs come rushing in reliably as they always do. The new ones will rush to your support just as reliably. Once you train them to. New for old!

You Can Have Anything You Want If You Quit Believing You Can’t

We must condition our mind to accept the new positive beliefs and wire them in. We replace the old habits with new ones the same way we learn to go to a new address when we move homes or workplace. At first we may find ourselves going to the old address. It’s normal!

Eventually, our brain learns NOT THAT address but THIS ADDRESS and we now reliably go to the new one. The old one isn’t lost we don’t go there any longer UNLESS we choose to. The same applies to changing our beliefs. We don’t lose anything. We exchange them.

We replace old beliefs that don’t support us with new ones. Once replaced they work automatically instead of the old ones. We laid down new neural path way habits. We actually altered the structure of our brains too. We evolved in positive ways. All great benefits.

Believing In Yourself Is The First Secret To Success

The point of these recent posts is for you to examine the limitations you think you have and neutralize them. Then build new positive beliefs by repeating them over and over with strong positive emotions. It is the positive powerful emotions that lock them in.

Feeling good when chanting affirmations often is how we wire in the new beliefs. You can write them out too. It is great. There will be times when you don’t. Times when you backslide. That is all part of the process. Step forward a couple steps, back step, forward again.

As long as you consistently and persistently continue to move forward you will arrive at your destination. Detours and all. While traveling your old beliefs will rise up and your new ones will be challenged. All part of the process of trading in the old for the new.

Always Believe Something Wonderful Is Going To Happen

It is simple but not always easy. You need to use will power from time to time. Some moments will breeze by others seem to take forever. All part of the conditioning, rewiring process. Brains learn from emotion, repetition, over time. You train them like a pet.

You make your brain the servant instead of it being your master. Gain control over your thoughts and beliefs and you will discover a most wonderful and amazing world. You will create, attract and manifest more and more of what you want to include in your life.

You will become the person you always wanted to be, if you choose to. Life gets better and better. There will always be challenges but you play a different game now. 2 Things Successful People Do That Separate Them From The Unsuccessful

“Not everyone who is successful and rich is a nice person. However, most all of them have things they do in common that separates them from the unsuccessful. There a few things they do differently and routinely that are crucial to adopt if you want success. Here’s one.

In order to make any change you want to be permanent you have to wire it in. You have to make it an automatic, reliable habit.  To do this you must overwrite the old habit with the new thoughts, feelings or behaviors you want instead. You must learn the habits of success.

In order to do this you must do the correct things consistently and for a long enough time. That is what ‘perfect practice’ is about. You do the right things for as long as it takes. This IS how you create new habits. Sadly, most people, won’t do what it takes to succeed.

Practice Doesn’t Make Perfect – Perfect Practice Makes Perfect

That is why it has been pointed out that successful people do the things no one else will do. If you want to think better, more productively, positively and powerfully then you must practice and rehearse that thinking until you wire it in. There is no other way.

Do you want to feel better more of the time? Then you must practice and rehearse feeling good consistently and long enough. The same applies to behaviors. There isn’t any other way. You can’t change being a couch potato, taking a magic pill or wishing it will happen.

You must take charge and do it. How long does it take? It takes as long as it takes. You do what you need to do to make the changes you want, and to make them permanent. Let go of the when, the time, and deadlines and focus on developing the thoughts and feelings.

The Difference Between Ordinary And Extraordinary Is Practice

There is a bamboo plant. Once planted it is watered and nurtured for 6 years. The plant remains underground with no evidence of growth. In the 7th year the plant sprouts and grows 90 feet within 2 months. The question to consider is, when did it grow the 90 feet?

Obviously, it must have been growing the entire time. If it wasn’t watered or taken care of it in any given year it would have died. It was always growing even when you couldn’t see it. The same is true of you when you do the right things long enough and consistently.

Success is the same way. Besides taking responsibility for their success those who are most successful enjoy working at it. They work harder and longer than most others. However, they don’t consider it work. They love it. They enjoy it. It is their passion.

Practice Happy Thinking Every Day – And Be Happy

Because they enjoy it they say things like, ‘I work harder than anyone else but I have never worked a day in my life.’ This is important to understand. They feel good about working for success. If you feel good too you will never work a day in your life either.

The more you decide to enjoy the process the smoother it can go. When you are enjoying something you want it to last or you don’t care how long it takes. This is a great mindset. Then it doesn’t matter how  long it takes because you are enjoying it and benefiting from it.

Enjoy the process of evolving yourself. Take control of your thinking and take responsibility for creating your life and circumstances. Do what it takes for as long as it takes. Enjoy the process and keep the faith even when you don’t see results for a while. Keep the  faith!

The Only Way To Do Great Work Is To Love What You Do

You are growing. You really are. You may not see the evidence for a while. One day, you’ll sprout and an entire new magical life will open up and takes off quickly. That is how it can work for you. Just stick with right practice. Develop your mindset.

Learn to think and feel good most of the time. Do what it takes to be successful and enjoy it.  Do what the others won’t and you will be counted among those who succeed. In the meantime have fun. Expert Reveals Secret: How To Overcome Any Problem And Build A Success Record!

“Success creates confidence. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Take it one step at a time and gather confidence by becoming competent first. Each time you succeed you are capable of bringing about more success. Then even more success. This is how it works.

Some people start off way too big. If you believe you can make it happen and know that with certainty that you will, big is fine. If you have doubts and don’t believe you can make it happen, then start smaller. Begin as tiny as you have to but still keep it desirable.

If it is too easy or isn’t desirable or interesting you won’t go after. You have find the ‘sweet spot’ where it is just enough stretch but not too much. It needs to be big enough to challenge AND you still have to believe it is possible for you to attain it. Faith is necessary.

Whatever You Can Conceive And Believe You Can Achieve

Search until you find the right thing. Your Definite Chief Purpose or Aim is what you want in life. Your mission. Your reason for being on the planet. Usually, it involves you and your contribution to the world and your legacy. You need to find your purpose in life.

From your purpose you find the steps that take you to it. You absolutely keep your purpose in mind, behind the steps. Think of it this way. You want to get to L. A. from the East coast and you set your travel markers. You know where you want to end up.

You get there step by step. Make sure your first step is something that you want, that captures you, but is easy enough to get, while still challenging you to stretch some. AS you build confidence the steps can increase in size and importance.

Inch Your Way To Great Success You Will Get There Soon Enough

The reason for this is to build on your successes. When you do that you remain motivated and persistent. If it doesn’t work or it is boring you may not be inclined to continue. If you give up along the way to you Definite Chief Purpose you are not going to get it. Is this clear?

Some people make 20 K a year. They make their Definite Chief Purpose 1 million or more dollars so they can live how they want while helping others. If you want it and ABSOLUTELY believe you can make it happen that is fine. Your goals should stretch you!

However, if you can’t believe it completely, it is wiser and better to start with smaller wants. Go for 30, 40 or 50 thousand first. Then 100,00. If you begin to big, don’t quit, just readjust the size of your first step. Keep going and keep making it happen step by step.

Dream Big – Think Long Term – Take Baby Steps To Get There

In fact, a good practice is to start stocking up some successes daily. To do this you can count nearly anything as a success. Your goal is to get to work on time. Get up 15 minutes earlier. After that becomes habit go for 30 minutes earlier. Keep adding time until it works right.

Do it and you’ll feel more successful. Your goal is to do the dishes tomorrow. Do them, get it done. When you set small daily goals and cross them off as completed you will be building successes and feeling good along the way. Keep a list of successes.

Doing dishes. Clearing the table. Taking out the trash. Making your bed. Cleaning a room. Cleaning your desk or office. Washing the car. Anything! Anything at all. Determine what you intend to do and do it. These things build your daily success list.

To Succeed – Desire For Success Should Exceed Fear Of Failure

Each night write down your list of successes for the day. Write down all the things you crossed off your list. Be sure to write down those specifically applicable to your Definite Chief Purpose too. Make succeeding a habit and you’ll develop unstoppable confidence.

The most important aspect of this is to keep your word. Do what you say you will do. Don’t go to bed with unfinished business. Don’t break promises.Don’t make your list of to-dos too large. Do as many as you are able that stretches you without overwhelming you.

How do you eat an elephant. One bite at a time. Drop by drop the tub fills. Instead of being overwhelmed or feeling like you can’t do it all, or that you don’t believe you are likely to get your goal, chunk it down. Anything can be accomplished when it is small enough.

When You Change The Way You Look At Things …

You can manage each piece of it or step along the way. This is crucial for you to understand and here is why. By learning to be successful incrementally you are building confidence and learning that you can be successful doing anything you put your mind to.

You memorize the feelings. You grow new neural pathways. You evolve yourself and develop new successful habits. You change and grow positively. How marvelous is this? Pretty incredible right. But, there is more to it. This is where the rubber hits the road – problems.

Whenever you are faced with insurmountable odds. Whenever you are face with really big issues, problems, challenges or obstacles if you chunk them down, and you can because you have been practicing this, you can handle ANYTHING that comes your way!

… The Things You Look At Change – Perception Is Everything

Size matters! The smaller the easier to deal with. Because you learn how to resize things and make them work for you, because you have spent time practicing bite size successes you can do the same thing for any problem that comes your way. Chunk it down. Make it small.

Try it on the smaller issues first. Build a success record managing obstacles and difficulties. Soon you will be pretty darn good. You will build positive success steps toward your goal while learning to dismantle any issues holding you back, or that you may encounter.

Chunk it down. You eat an elephant one bite at a time. It may take you longer but you can handle it. You can accomplish anything you want. You can overcome any obstacle one bite, one drop at a time. Overall you become more successful and much more confident.

Build The Wins All Along The Way – Success Breeds Success

Continue on toward you Definite Chief Purpose. Remember, to enjoy the process. Enjoy right now! This is crucial for all success. Now is all you have. Expert Reveals: The Way To Wealth – Trim It!

“You want to be wealthier. Who doesn’t want more money or freedom? You want to be free from debt and able to live the lifestyle of your choosing? You can be but you must change some things you are currently thinking and doing if you aren’t already financially free.

Last post I mentioned two things you could start doing. Over the next posts I will elaborate on each and add more principles and practices. Remember to PAY yourself first AND CUT spending. Trim the fat. Seriously, if you don’t need it now, go without it now.

I hoarded videos and books. I felt compelled to buy. If I wanted it I got it. I had to discipline myself to say, ‘I can afford it but I don’t want it right now. Another time. Maybe later’. My mindset was not one of ‘I can’t afford this’ but that I am able to AND choose not to have now.

Saving Must Become A Priority – Always Pay Yourself First

Whether, in reality, I could or not I adopted this mindset. Mindset is everything! Your mindset, my mindset, our mindset runs the show. Our beliefs and attitudes, our thoughts are the predominant determining factor of whether we are happy, successful or wealthy.

Save and stop spending. Find out what you don’t need and can go without. I cut cable. After decades of high bills and full packages, I said enough. I didn’t like the bills or how they only continued to creep up. I hated having to always call for another promotion.

This was especially difficult for me. I am an actor, director and producer. My life is film, TV and entertainment. It is even a deduction for me. However, when I think of the tens of thousands of dollars I spent on cable, since the advent of it, I cut it loose.

If You Don’t Manage Your Money You’ll Work For Those Who Do

Difficult yes, but I have not regretted it. The mindset is ‘I have plenty. I can afford these things but I choose otherwise’. I’d rather celebrate saving than moan about spending. It is important to focus on what we want and celebrate than to focus on what we don’t want.

I want to be happy with my bills, as I pointed out in my last post. I don’t want my thinking time consumed by lack, worry or fears. I want most of my day spent thinking positive on what I can do. I want to  accomplish those things that move me ahead. Wouldn’t you?

When shopping many people look for bargains and the cheapest. They want the deal, they want to stretch their dollars. Guess what, the rich do too. They look for bargains and cheap deals. Billionaire Mark Cuban said he buys all his toothpaste for a year at a discount.

The First Step To Wealth – Always Spend Less Than You Make

The mindset is different. They aren’t worried about not having enough they are concerned with keeping their money working for them and not wasting it. It isn’t ‘can I afford it?’ Their thoughts are, ‘is it a good bargain or value for my money’?

If they don’t need it they don’t get it. Cut your waste. Trim the fat. Let go of what you do not need. You will be glad you did even if you don’t like it at first. The reason most people are poor is they overspend for what they earn and/or they get into debt.

So curb your spending, manage you money. Most importantly, manage your thoughts and your mindset. Your feelings and actions follow your thoughts. The results you get stem primarily from what you think and believe you can or cannot do. Think the best always!

You Tell Money What To Do Or The Lack Of It Will Manage You

Here is another way to manage your thoughts and think about money. This is an important exercise. Put some money in your wallet. $100.00 dollars or more. Then going on a shopping spree. Don’t actually buy anything. Window shop. Look don’t buy. LOOK only!

Look at items under the price amount in your pocket whether you have 100 or 500. With everything you see that you want, think, ‘I can afford that. I don’t need it right now’. You can! You have the money in your pocket. Choose not to purchase but understand that you could.

If you did that with 10, $100.00 items, you’d have spent $1,000. If you did it with 100 on your shopping spree you’d have spent much more! Understand? Learn to feel wealthy; that you can afford things and you can buy them but YOU CHOOSE not to. Change your habits.

See Yourself Living In Abundance And You’ll Create And Attract It

It is the mindset of the wealthy you want to learn to have. Feel wealthy first and becoming wealthier is much easier. Most people feel lack and live in it. Your thoughts determine where you go and end up. Think and feel wealthy inside and you can create it outside.

Some people look at menus and pick the cheapest fare. They don’t get what they want. They get what they think they should have or can afford. From time to time, as AN exercise, go look at a menu and don’t look at the prices. Don’t look. Get whatever you want.

You don’t have to do this all the time but find out how it feels when you do? Do you end up with sticker shock? What happens? How do you feel? Where you want to get to in your wealth is to be able to afford anything and then choose wisely.

Spend Time Learning To Be A Good Money Manager

Sometimes, it is important to splurge and treat yourself well. After all you deserve it. Don’t break the bank doing it, be smart. Indulge once in a while. Don’t let price be the deciding factor. Don’t make money the issue.

Clear up the money issues. Get what you want. Still, be wise as a wealthy person would be. The point of this exercise is to feel wealthy enough that price is not a consideration. If you do the exercise, be sure to enjoy it. Consider it a treat for yourself. A gift to delight in.

They rich don’t have to get the most expensive item to prove anything either. They don’t have to get the cheapest. They get what they want because that is what they want. They are still are smart about managing their money. This is important to understand!

Spend Time Each Week Managing Your Money – The Wealthy Do It

They save, they manage, they invest, they don’t overspend. They keep costs low and profits high. They allocate. Wise allocation is part of money management we’ll discuss later.  Seek to improve your mindset and relationship with money and you will.

Be smart, be grateful. Be thankful you have any money. Be grateful you are alive and can experience things. Be grateful for family, friends and relationships.  Be grateful for it all. Be grateful for the opportunity to learn from your struggles. Create balance!

Be grateful you can learn, you can develop yourself and your skills and can change you lifestyle. Be grateful for your past mistakes and successes because each step has brought you here. Appreciate today and be grateful you create your future. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Secret To Getting Consistent Positive Results: It Is How You Do It!

Repetition is critical. It is HOW we learn and acquire skill. From birth on it is THE process we engage to learn anything. Did you know it must be a very special type of repetition if you want to move ahead?

Is not just repetition that is important. It is correct repetition. What is correct repetition and why? It is doing it the right way. You can repeat practicing mistakes and learn errors instead of the right way.

You can practice a golf swing incorrectly and hamper your ability to play. Practice correctly from the beginning as much as possible. You do it and make adjustments to correct as you go along. Feedback.

Correct Repetition Is The Mother Of Skill

You never fail. You just get plenty of feedback. If you are open to it you make the adjustments to move forward correctly. If you aren’t open to it you are destined to practice your mistakes.

Whatever we practice or rehearse in life we get back. If we practice a bad golf swing the results we get are a bad golf swing. The result is most likely a bad score. This is why correct repetition is important.

Some people spend a lot of money on books and private coaching to learn to swing the golf club correctly. Athletes train and have a coach or a team to help them correctly exercise and perform.

There Is No Such Thing As Failure Only Feedback

When it comes to your life and the consistent results you want to get what is it worth to you? If you want success, the best health and wealth and happiness what are you willing to commit to?

How much time, energy and/or money will you devote to you and to getting your career, your relationships and your life in order. Certainly, you should be able to devote a few minutes each day.

If we practice crappy, negative thinking the results we get back are crappy negative results. If we focus on lack and poverty and problems, because we rehearse these, they stick around.

Whatever We Plant And Nurture We Will Harvest

We make habits of whatever we practice and rehearse in thought, feeling and behavior. We wire in neural pathways. Because of this we find ourselves behaving the same over and over again.

If you want to change, get better results and have only good habits, you have to practice and rehearse only what you want more of. You must take charge and take control. There is no other way.

If you think you can or you think you can’t you are right. It is all up to you. If you do or don’t. Only you will benefit.  Only you will lose out. If you want to change begin today. Do it right.

Use what you learn in these pages. Study and apply it. Ask questions. Consider getting some personal coaching. Learn and do whatever it takes to bring you the good you want for yourself and others.
