Release Your ‘Why Nots’ And Start Getting What You Want

“Could there be something holding you back, preventing you, from getting what you want? Once discovered you could stop, or change it, so you could begin making things happen. People miss out because they have ‘reasons’ why they can’t have what they want.

When you release all the reasons why you cannot have it, you will have it. It’s a de-conditioning process. You have to wake you up from the trance you are in. The trance you’re in, is the belief you don’t deserve it. You can’t have it. It requires hard work. You suck.

Life sucks! More bad reasons why you can’t have something includes; you’re not lucky enough, you weren’t raised right, you’re not smart enough, nor have you what it takes, other people deserve it, but not you. You have to stop believing these lies. Wake up!

To Get What You Want You Must Stop Doing What Isn’t Working

Stop the blaming. Quit making excuses. Drop the whining. Let go of all the reasons why you can’t have it and you can start having it.
As I dictated this blog post, the word ‘trance’ printed out as ‘trench’. In some ways that’s is quite apropos. You dig yourself into a trench.

Believing bad beliefs dig you a trench, of your own making. The goal is to get you out of that trench and wake you up from that trance. Once you’re out of the trench, and awakened from the trance, you can start manifesting all of your desires. This is important.

You will begin manifesting your desires because you no longer prevent yourself from getting them. That is your old conditioned way of thinking and being. Release the old conditioned ways and become aware of the possibilities that you can then create.

Stop Doubting – Believe In Yourself – Get What You Want

Prior to waking up, and getting out of the trance, you live from the conditioned mind, that tells you, you can’t have the thing, you don’t deserve to. So you want it but you don’t believe you can have it. You want it, but you don’t feel good about getting it. So you don’t get it.

You focus on your problems, not on what you want. So you continue to create more problems. You don’t believe you’re going to get it, so you don’t get it. You don’t feel good about getting it, so you don’t get it. Remember, you become what you think about. Thoughts expand.

You feel bad when you think about your goals, so you end up creating more struggle. I want to help you create everything you want with ease. To do this, you need to learn to let go of the old conditioned mind and embrace the new thinking. Think positively.

Have The Courage To Let Go Of That Which Has Held You Back

Use new thoughts and beliefs to get you to everything you want to have. Release, delete, let go of that which isn’t working, so that you can have more of what you want. It’s a decision you have to make.  You have to decide to stop continuing as you were. You must quit it.

You must stop perpetuating the myths and start living free as a champion and victor. You need to realize you are always, already, creating. You can’t not create but you’re creating what you don’t want. I want you to learn how to create what you do want!

Until you let go you may continue to struggle. Let go and give in. Give in to gratitude and optimism. Give in to enjoyment and enthusiasm. Give into expecting good things to happen. Trust, believe, have faith. Become certain you can create the life you want to live. Then you will begin to create more of the good stuff. Celebrate your wins. Celebrate everything!’ Rex Sikes

The Real Secret To Making Good Things Happen!

“There are secrets to making things happen much more quickly and easily. I have been sharing these with you in my blog pages. Put them into practice and you can live a remarkable life. You can get your small and large goals and make your dreams come true!

The principal is you must feel good! One way to do this is to expect unexpected good. Anticipate things always working out. Enjoy the process no matter what. When you are fulfilled, happy and positive now, in this moment, more good things can and do come your way.

Does this mean ‘bad’ things never happen? No. They still may, but you are better equipped to navigate and transform them. If everything is a blessing then there are no bad things. There are lessons and opportunities. Find enjoyment each moment.

Be Patient – The Best Things Happen Unexpectedly – Have Faith

Then, more good things happen to you. You vibrate higher. You attract higher. Like attracts like. The difficulty many people face in setting their goals is they focus on a really big one. This is great! Still, you have to BELIEVE you will make it happen. BELIEVE!

So these people create a really big goal BUT don’t believe that they’re going to get it. They try. They are focused on it. It is soooo big and they don’t have it yet. What they notice is the distance between now and the time they might get it. They know they don’t have it.

They notice not having it. They want it but they don’t have it! What they are really focused on is the lack of it. LACK! They don’t have it yet, so that’s what they end up creating. More Lack! More struggle. More distance. It is a tricky thing this manifesting. BUT simple.

Believe In What You Want So Much – It Can’t Not Materialize

It is quite simple, but tricky. We are always manifesting! We cannot not manifest. This is what most people miss. Either you are manifesting what you want or you are manifesting what you don’t want. You attract what you are. You attract what you focus on.

What you focus on expands. If you don’t have it and you feel bad THAT IS what you are manifesting! You are manifesting not having it and feeling bad. The Law Of Attraction is working perfectly. You just aren’t manifesting what you want. The key is to get out of your way!

If you’re delighted and feel good and you expect to get it you are more apt to get it. You believe it and anticipate it. Then you attract it. If you feel like it’s not happening, it’s a struggle and you’re missing out, then that’s what you get back. It really, truly is that simple.

Think And Speak As Though You Already Have What You Desire

The trick is to develop yourself as a manifestor. Become a positive, magnetic attractor by working your way up to your big goals. As I suggested in my last blog post begin by manifesting things that are smaller and easier to attain. Remember, YOU make it happen!

You are the author and creator! Focus on those things that you can readily believe you can get. Don’t make it so small it is  boring but something that’s a challenge. Just not so much of a challenge you don’t think it’s something you can make happen. Get it? I hope!

Find something that will stretch you and move you in the direction of your larger goal. Remember, start small, so when you surpass it you feel extra incredible. Do you want to make $1 million start by manifesting an extra hundred a month, or an extra thousand?

Remember – This Is Important – Drop By Drop The Tub Fills

Shed a pound in a couple weeks. The when you lose a pound and a half you are excited.  Choose something you can believe in and, be certain, you can make happen. Have fun doing it. This is how you build up your manifesting muscle bit by bit. Smaller to larger!

When you have confidence in yourself as an attractor and as a manifestor, then magical good things will happen for you. If you practice this and practice gratitude every day you will develop these muscles and reliable habits. It will become an unconscious skill.

You won’t have to think about it so much. You will become confident and competent in making good things happen. As you do life becomes so much more exciting. You will create with greater ease and efficiency. You’ll manifest good things effortlessly and with precision! Get it? I hope so! Enjoy the journey. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Feel Good Principle: How You Can Be More Have More And Do More What You Want!

“Would you like to create and attract more of what you want most easily and readily? If so, you must do the following. Please understand you make things happen. They don’t magically happen. It only seems that way because it happens more easily than imagined.

First, yes, imagine it happening. In fact, imagine already having it. Imagine how good it feels to be able to think that, say that and live that reality. If you won a great deal of money, how would you feel? That is what you want to feel right now! Those wonderful feelings.

When you feel your best you are vibrating the highest. That’s just another way of saying you are emitting positive energy. No spooky, airy fairy stuff about that. We are all energy. Consider the difference when you feel less than glorious. Your output is not optimal.

Focus On How Good The Good Is And It Brings More Good

You know the difference. You really do. So, the idea is to feel the best you possibly can most of the time. Celebrate being, doing and having great things before they show up in your physical reality. This is the correct mindset and feeling set to have. Live joyously! Feel it.

Be eager and enthused. You know what happens on Christmas, right? For most people it is a happy time of getting presents. You expect them to come. It is the same way for most people’s birthdays. You expect to get some things. As a kid this may have been exciting.

That excitement, that anticipation for getting toys or gifts IS the kind of feeling you want to recapture. Anticipate good things. Anticipate great things. Be certain they are coming. Feel as if they are already here. Be grateful and celebrate. Enjoy and delight. Be festive. Smile!

You Have Got To Feel Good To Receive – So Feel Your Very Best

This is how you begin to transform your life and make things happen. This IS how you create, manifest and attract. Like energy atttracts like energy. Expect the best by creating the best first. It works. BUT to know it works you actually have to do it. You become it!

You attract what YOU ARE! If you are delighted you attract more delight. Get it? Okay, more next time. Meanwhile, do those positive things that help you enjoy life more. Have fun! Learn The Secret To Make Self-Fulfilling Prophecy Work For You!

“You have heard of self-fulfilling prophecy, right?  People want something to work out but they expect the worst. When it doesn’t work out, they say, ‘I knew that wasn’t going to work.’ That’s a negative self-fulfilling prophecy. Most people are familiar with this.

There is a way to turn this around to your advantage. I’ll share with you how this is possible. Once you read about it be sure to apply it and it will absolutely begin to transform your life! Don’t NOT apply it or you only continue as you have. You can change your life right now.

When it comes to creating your future, orchestrate it so everything works for you. Determine the rules. Decide the outcomes. Put it all together so you succeed each step of the way. You get better at manifesting by gathering wins together. Create win after win.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

Make the rules so you always win! Never break a promise to yourself. For example: You want to shed some weight. Instead of setting one large goal that seems impossible, or that you don’t believe you will easily attain, set smaller goals, easier to hit.

Make it so easy it’s impossible not to shed the pounds. Determine to shed a pound in the next couple weeks. Decide to shed 2 pounds in the next month. That is easy and simple. If you get rid of more than the pound or two, you will have done better than you expected.

Get it! You will have absolutely pleased yourself. You will never disappoint yourself this way. Instead, you win! When you win this way it signals your unconscious mind that YOU ARE a winner. Pick up small wins frequently and you develop the habit of winning.

Whatever You Confidently Expect Is Your Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

You develop the unconscious mindset you are a winner. Do you want to make lot’s of money? If you decide you want to make a million or more dollars, but you don’t believe you can or will, you won’t, if you don’t absolutely feel certain you will. SO set a smaller goal first!

Decide to earn an extra $50 or $100 a week. Make it something that stretches you. It should be a bit of a challenge to keep it interesting, but small enough that you are certain you can do it. The point is to feel certain and to feel absolutely wonderful about this goal.

It is important you believe you can do it! It is important when you think about it you feel good! Feel enthused. The tiny goal should keep your interest but be something you can readily accomplish. Perhaps, it is making $1000 extra a month. Whatever works.

You Will Manifest Outside Whatever You Believe Inside

If you make more than the amount you set you will feel even better than hitting the exact amount. Get it? You win all along the way. As you consistently manifest what you want you condition yourself to go after goals and make things happen. You build the success habit.

You develop the winning mindset. You start small and then graduate to larger and larger things along the way to your big goal. So losing all that weight or making a million dollars will becomes child’s play. Get it? Step by step you make your larger goal happen!

You set everything up so you are always winning. You never lose and you never break a promise to yourself because the steps are small enough for you to complete. Whatever you say you will accomplish, whatever you set out to do, you make happen! This is important.

Success Always Begins With The Decision To Act And Succeed

This is a huge point! Always keep your word! Don’t break promises to yourself or others. Go beyond what you expect to happen. You will thrill yourself. The more thrilled and excited you become the better you feel. The higher you vibrate, the more you attract!

You’ll begin to manifest more easily. By taking the small steps you condition yourself to be a positive, powerful creator. You begin to think, ‘whatever goal I decide to make happen, I achieve! I am a winner! I’m a champion! Whatever I say I will do, I do! I win!’

‘Whatever I want to create, I create! Whatever I want to attract, I attract!’ Get it? Small goal wins become medium sized ones. Medium sized wins become big wins. During this process you are developing reliable habits for making things happen, by doing the right things.

Things Do Not Change We Change – Be The Change You Want

You do the right things, repeatedly, for long enough, consistently, and you develop reliable, unconscious habits that will always positively serve you. You  create new neural pathways. You changed old, less than glorious habits into new, positive, powerful ones!

You prove yourself right. This is known as successful self-fulfilling prophecy. You, made self-fulfilling prophecy work for you. You expect to make it happen and you do! It happens, and you think, ‘I knew this would work out! I’m a winner!’ AND you are a winner!

You succeed! What you thought was possible, is possible. Instead of shedding a pound you lost a pound and a half or two and a half pounds. You made $120 instead of $100. You surpassed your expectations! Every time you do you feel better and better.

As You Think So You Are – As You Imagine So You Become

It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy because you expected to succeed. You succeeded even more than you expected. Get it? This is how you build a winning cycle. What Do You See And What Are Your Missing?

“What are you missing out on because you don’t see it? You don’t realize it is there because you miss it? We see what we expect to see. We often find what we assume is there. Often, we miss that which is right there in front of us. We miss the obvious. Have you noticed?

I’ll provide a simple example. I proofread my blog. I proofread my blog numerous times. I read it out loud and I still I miss mistakes. Fortunately, I have a wonderful person,  Lindsey, who goes through it after I do. She, too, reads it. She catches mistakes that I’ve missed.

You should know this process takes place after the blog has been published and sent out. She emails me the corrections. I correct the already published blog. It doesn’t correct the one sent but corrects the blog at the website. I write in the early AM hours.

Don’t Miss Out On Something That Could Be Amazing

Because I do, I write, review, publish.  She gets it and emails me what I missed. The ideal process would be for her to review and edit first, but that doesn’t work with our schedules. I hope you understand.
I hope you are okay with typos and grammatical errors.

The  point of this example IS that I’m looking for the error but I’m not always seeing them. I miss them. Usually, words like ‘you’ and ‘your’ or ‘the’ and ‘they’ get missed. Sometimes it is an added ‘s’ or even a misspelling. There is a reason why I miss these simple errors.

I wrote it. I know what I wanted to say. My mind knows what the word should be. Even though I read it, out loud twice, I may not catch it. My eyes or my mind deceive me. I miss the typos. This is really cool in some ways because it illustrates what the mind can do.

We Don’t See Things As They Are – We See Things As We Are

Perception is everything. What we believe shapes our reality. What we expect to discover is what we discover. What we expect will happen, often does. This is true whether we look for blessings or for problems. We know what we think so we are likely to find that.

Or, miss that! If we can miss simple things like grammar and spelling errors, imagine what else we might be missing because our brain expects something else.  You might be missing  all sorts of good because you’re focused on the problem in front of you.

This is why mindset is important. This is why attention is important. Where your attention goes, energy flows. If your mind is focused on debt, you’re likely to find it. You’re likely to miss out on abundance. If you’re focused on what’s wrong, you might miss all that’s right.

What I Am Looking For Is Not Found Out There – It Is In Me

The mind can miss little things or big things. Just as when you put down your keys and then can’t find them. Even though they’re right in front of you! If you want to manifest better health, focus on health. Stop paying attention to illness. You get what you focus on.

Stop paying attention to debt. Stop paying attention to what’s wrong and start paying attention to what’s right. Put your focus on the positive and you’ll discover more positive. Put your attention on what you are grateful for and you will find more to enjoy. Stop worrying and start celebrating. In fact, celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How To Handle Unexpected Bad Events

What to do when unexpected bad happens? Something comes along, out of the blue, that is less than glorious. How can you best handle it so  you don’t create more problems? How can you begin to create more opportunity and manifest good things for your future?

It is all depends on what you think and what you say to yourself and to others. Keep in mind the notion I frequently promote here. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. Don’t repeatedly tell, and relive, the ‘negative’ story. Stop doing that! Instead, tell one that supports you.

Say, ‘well I didn’t expect that. Some people might say they had a problem. I have a new opportunity presenting itself to examine and utilize my resources. I don’t know what to do about it, yet, but I know everything always works out well for me in the end.’

Train Yourself To Find The Blessing In Everything – Feel Blessed

‘I also know that in adversity is the seed of opportunity. This situation will help me get clear on what I want. Getting really clear about what I want will help me make it happen.’ Don’t judge or label it bad.  Simply say, it’s something you didn’t expect.

Don’t get negative. Don’t speak in less than glorious terms. Do not ignore it. Don’t lie about it. Don’t say it is ‘all fabulous’ if you don’t feel that. That only creates internal conflict. Don’t create a conflict. Simply, reframe how you think and speak about all of it. Get it?

Simply say, ‘I have a situation and I don’t know how it’s gonna work out. Ultimately, it’s gonna work out for the best. Things always work out for the best. I’m gonna celebrate the learning and all the opportunities that are now before me. This is an opportunity.’

Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems – Think Differently

‘I have an opportunity to think, feel, be, do and act differently than I had planned. All of it is an opportunity. All of it will work out. I just don’t know how, yet, so I’m going to get clear on what I do want. I’m going to work on what I can make happen.’

Things never work out the way you think they will. There’s always twists and turns and surprises, so you might as well get used to that. Accept it. Life is an adventure. You can plan but, almost always, your plans will change. Life is ups and downs. Life provides contrast.

Adversity helps you. Perhaps, you really do need what is occurring in order to get clear and focus intently on what you want. Perhaps, you  have to intensify your pursuit. Use it to your advantage. It is a good and positive thing that happened. Get clear on your goals.

Be Grateful For Small Things Big Things And All In Between

You can never know how things will turn out. Adventures are filled with good times and challenges. All of them are a blessings. Sadly, you and the rest of us, have been previously conditioned to accept some and reject others. You have beliefs about what is good and bad.

Until now, you may not have believed that these events can be blessings. Most of us were conditioned to dislike the unexpected. We whine, blame, excuse. and accuse. So we lose out and we suffer. We suffer because of our chronic, old conditioned mindset.

Now you have opportunity to go beyond your beliefs and evolve as a person. You can go to a higher level. When everything is a blessing your life becomes incredible! You didn’t get the outcome you expected. So what? Celebrate. It is a gift and a blessing! Get it?

Perception Is Everything – Believing Is Seeing – It Is All Up To You

Still, you may not yet believe this. These kind of experiences, these lessons, these opportunities, will happen over and over again until you learn that this IS how it works. Everything is a blessing. Give yourself room to accept this. Until you do, expect the unexpected.

Begin to believe that everything happens for your good even though you may not be able to see what that is right now. Don’t let defeat define you. Don’t succumb to negativity because ‘crap’ hits the fan. What anything IS is whatever you DECIDE it is. It’s all up to you.

Things happen to you. It can all be good. You just haven’t believed that before. Give yourself permission to. Accept and allow it and your life can transform. Find the silver linings. Consider everything an opportunity, a lesson and a blessing. Give yourself permission to shine! Feel grateful. Express your gratitude. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Do This To Start Succeeding More Quickly

“There is another reason why you might not succeed as quickly and as easily as you could. Most of us, at one time or another, have been guilty of this. In order to move forward most swiftly, you have to be willing to do somethings that seem counterintuitive, at times.

Stop trying so hard! Stop trying at all. This doesn’t mean you abandon your goals or give up.  You stay true to your ‘definite chief purpose’. You continue to be passionate about it. It stays a ‘white hot burning desire’ but you stop over thinking. You stop struggling.

You let go. Start trusting. Start having peace. Become certain about making it happen. After all, if it is going to happen at all, you are going to be the one making it happen. Trust yourself. Believe. Have faith. Trust your resourcefulness. Know in your heart you can do it.

Trust Is A Decision You Make – Allow Things To Happen – Trust

Expect the best. Let go of worry. Stop trying to figure it out!  Relax. Listen to the still small voice within. Follow your gut. This all comes about by taking charge of your thinking. The results you get and the inspired actions you take come from managing your mindset.

Be positive. Affirm. Stop speaking about your problems and worries. Begin speaking about making it happen. You don’t need to know the details but you do need to expect it will happen. That is faith. Be enthused. Be eager. Have some fun. Play, delight, enjoy the process.

Don’t furrow your brow. Smile more. Laugh more. Put an end to the struggle. Commit to ease. Do little things that move you ahead. Take some action. It need not be massive. Get into the gratitude habit. Enjoy the process. Be glad for the learning and the challenge. Count it all a blessing and you will move ahead more. Get out of your own way! Celebrate everything.”

Are You Failing Because You Are Distracted? Yes!

“My recent blogs were devoted to two concepts; why you fail and is media, and more, distracting you from your goals and dreams? There are many factors that usurp your power. If you aren’t able to realize the power you have, you may never maximize your potential.

The distractions, those deliberately imposed, and those that simply arise in daily living, compete for your attention. They rob you of focus. They lead you astray when you succumb to them. Your thoughts become diluted so the results you get are weakened.

If you are distracted, you may never realize your true self and what you are capable of achieving. Because you are ‘caught up’ you miss out. Napoleon Hill called it ‘drifting’, as a cork bobs along in the current. There is no power in drifting. Power is in your focus.

Everything Is Energy – Your Thoughts Begin It …

Power is in your decisions and determination. Power is in managing your thoughts, feelings, and actions. If anything can distract you, it will lead you away from what is most important. If it can take you away from pursuing your goals and dreams, it will. You lose out.

That is why, social networking, popular books, movies, music, gossip, bad news, is dangerous. It takes you out of the game. Your focus isn’t on who  you can become, and what you can accomplish, it’s caught up in the bad news and banter on your feed. Focus is everything!

Energy flows where your attention goes. What you focus on expands. You become what you think about most frequently. I’m not saying there isn’t room for entertainment or frivolity that makes you feel good. There is plenty of room for it. It’s how much time is spent?

… Your Emotions Amplify It – Your Actions Increase Its Momentum

If most of your time is caught up in media distraction, daily distractions, traffic and nuisances in work and home life, then less time is spent focused on what you want. If you get what you focus on,  how will you get what you want, if you’re not focused on it?

You have to control what you pay attention to. That is why it is important to read and listen to material that inspires and motivates you to continue your pursuit, daily. It is why you need to hang out with positive like minded people who are making things happen.

It is the reason you attend seminars and events and invest in yourself. All of these help you to stay focused on your goals and dreams, and expand your imagination to include more good things. Spend more time on what is important, and less time on what isn’t.

Take Back Your Attention – Energy – Time And Emotions 

Affirm and visualize. Enjoy making your world what you want it to be. Contribute to others positively, and allow them to contribute to you. That is much better for you than the latest bad news or gossip. The goal, of the powers that be, is that you spend money trying.

If you become what you want to be, you live life on your terms. You have choice and power. You can opt in or opt out. If you are always struggling you are spending your time, energy and money to become. If you never become you keep struggling. Get it? It’s a cycle.

Put an end to the distractions. You get nowhere drifting and being wishy washy. Focus! Focus yourself. Become a laser beam and enjoy the process. Find the people, things, and circumstances you are grateful for and focus on these, instead. You’ll get more bang for this buck than discussing headlines. Get it? Practice gratitude. Live fully. Delight in life. Manage your thoughts and your feelings and actions and results will align. FOCUS! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Is Media Trying To Addict You And Dumb You Down?

“Lots of news. Lots happening. Daily breaking news. Media messages bombard us on TV, newspapers, blogs, internet, social media. We are hit with thousands of messages every moment. We can’t escape it any more than we can escape microwaves and cell towers.

Some think the media manipulates us. It could be that is accurate. It can try, at least. It can wear us down so we are apathetic and don’t care anymore. A lie repeated often enough can be substituted as the truth. We get dumber, not smarter. Yes, it can have this affect.

It may be that it’s designed to make us feel helpless or hopeless. It may be done to control our thinking; tell us what to think and believe. We are products of our family, peer groups and society. Manipulation is not that big of a stretch, to think it not possible.

Simplify Your Life – Learn To Say No – Keep Your Power

However, it doesn’t control you, unless you let it. If you let it run your thoughts, then, yes, perhaps, it has that power to influence. It can’t control you, but it may influence you. If you don’t let it, it can’t. You are in charge. There is a question you might ask about media.

Do I feel more empowered and in charge by what I see and hear daily or do I feel more helpless and hopeless? Evaluate the affect you think it has on you. If you feel less than glorious, less in charge, more helpless and hopeless, then you can act to change it.

There is no reason to remain a victim. Pay attention. Everything is designed to make you an addict. Food additives, MSG, HFCS, and others in processed food. Nicotine in cigarettes. Alcohol. Media which includes movies, books and music. They want us consuming.

Want More Time Freedom Energy And Money – Start Saying No

People are addicted to news. People are addicted to BAD news. What we focus on is what we get. I don’t know if it is nefarious. Are there powers trying to dumb down the people for total domination? Perhaps. More likely, just trying to get you to part with your dollars.

Claim your life and your mind and your time and your health back. Take it all back and put yourself in charge of you. Decide what you want and whether or not it gets you closer, or further away, from your hopes, goals and dreams. You are either thriving or dying.

Put a premium on your time because that you NEVER get back. Instead of struggling decide and determine to make life fun. Make it an adventure. Enjoy it. Delight and thrill. Transform it through the renewing of your mind and heart. Practice gratitude. Limit the negativity. Promote the positivity. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

What You Can Do When You Are Suffering And In Pain

“Today, I suffered from some extreme nerve pain in my back, hip and all the way down my left leg. It is so intense I thought to go to urgent care to get some meds to sleep and help manage the pain. Then, I realized, I was not the pain. I am bigger than any obstacle.

I am not the thoughts but the thinker of the thoughts. This pain is here for me as a blessing to remedy what is out of alignment. It is a signal to me. BUT I am not the pain. Whatever anyone else choses is completely fine. This is my choice not a recommendation.

Use your own judgement. This is not medical advice. I went to the doctor who treated me and he said ‘Keep moving. Don’t sit.’ Standing and walking are nearly impossible. Sitting and lying down unbearable. It has made for a partly difficult day. Very intense.

Focus On The Goal Not On The Obstacle 

It nearly got the better of me. Then, I stopped and breathed and decided. I made a new choice. I determined to stop paying attention to the problem, the pain, and instead, focus on what feels good about my body in this moment. I decided to focus on what I want!

I focused on what felt the best rather than what felt the worst. I scan my body for where I feel the best, the most comfortable, and pay attention to that. Recently, I went on a grueling hike and engaged in some intense activities and used this principle to see me through.

I had to focus on where my body felt good while most of it was racked with pain. I focused on the beauty of the journey and where I was in nature instead of my physical limitations. I took my mind from suffering repeatedly and put it on more useful and delightful things.

Whatever You Focus On Expands And Grows Larger

It is all energy. Energy flows where attention goes. Attention goes where energy flows. I shifted where I placed my attention and allowed the energy of feeling good to take the place of feeling not so good. It is a moment to moment process at times. Still, I got relief!

Shifting from the pain requires me to stop and breath through it occasionally but I am managing. I’ll see the doctor again tomorrow for further treatment. When I determined the pain was a blessing rather than a problem I discovered much relief. NO, I am not ‘cured’.

The principle is to focus on what I am able to do. What I can do. Remove attention from the limitation and the ‘can’t’. Place attention on what I want, what I can do, and on that which moves me forward and gets me closer to my goal. Place the energy where it counts!

What You Focus On Is What You Get – You Create The Results

I’m not cured but I am moving forward, and learning I am not the pain. I am not the thoughts or feelings. I am the one beyond; who thinks the thoughts and feels the feelings. I can act in spite of mood, negative thinking or pain. I can focus my mind on what I want.

The mind is a tool and I am its master. It does not run me. I run my mind. Yes, I am sitting back, while typing this. Normally, an intensely painful position to be in. Still, I want to write this post and that means I go through it. I will be fine. I am fine. I AM! I am blessed.

I wanted to share. This is not about me, even while I share an experience. It’s about how to manage thoughts and take control of our thinking process to begin getting the results we want to get. It is learning to be bigger than problems and obstacles. Because we are.

If You Say You Have You Will Always Have What You Say

Sometime ago, I challenged my problems. I yelled, ‘bring it on’ and there has been no shortage of opportunity to learn and grow. Some repeated lessons, which I discussed recently. It is all good. I was and am happy to be able to shout, ‘bring it!’. They no longer detour me.

Problems, pain, negative thoughts and attitudes are all part of life. Someone once said, as children we aren’t responsible for the conditioning and negative programming we ended up with. As adults, however, we are 100% responsible for changing it.

This blog, my mission, is about this very point. You and I can change our old conditioning and create new powerful, positive, supportive conditioning that empowers us to get the results we want and deserve to get. We can make what we want happen. We truly can!

Change The Story You Keep Telling Yourself And Change Your Life

Your life can and will change! This is why I write this blog. I want you to know you can live life by your own design and on your own terms. There are things you can do, practices you can apply, principles you can adopt, habits you can create that will transform you!

When you do these your life will change for the better. Gratitude and attitude are a massive part of it. Inspiration and encouragement another massive part. Take control of your thoughts and feelings. Read and listen to positive messages. Visualize and affirm. Meditate and reflect.
