How To Get More Energy And Anything You Want!

“Feeling tired? Feeling down? Feeling unmotivated? How do you get more energy when you don’t feel like it? Is there anything you can do? The answer is absolutely, yes! There is a secret principle that is hidden in the open to get more of anything you want.

Act! Take action! When you don’t feel energetic, get up and dance! Jog a little. Sit up straight. Walk around. Sing, chant, shout and yell. Think of military morning boot camp. When your system is down or depressed, super charge it. Yup, do what you don’t feel like doing.

The principle is ‘givers get’. GO FIRST! If you feel unmotivated, act! I know, you will complain, that you don’t do it, because you don’t feel like it. Right, you’ve spent a life time whining and wallowing. You have a ‘bad’ habit of not doing. Change that habit! You need to act.

If You Want To Fly You Must Take Off – If You Want To Win – Play

Act even though it is difficult. Act in spite of your mood. Do it! Build a new habit of doing. Take charge. Stop whining and excusing and blaming yourself, others, events and circumstances. Change the situation, yourself. You have to spend energy to get energy!

Take responsibility. Take charge. Step up to the plate! Swing the bat. Don’t just sit there, do something! Act as if you already have what you want. Move! If you want your life to change, you must change some things in your life. If you want peace, be peaceful. Get it?

You can’t do what you have always done and expect it to be different. You must be different. If you want faith, believe. If you want confidence, act confident. Train your brain and body to give you more of what you want. Build the habit. It is up to you!

What You Focus On Expands – You Get What You Think About

I have friends, who recently reported that due to their habit of tithing regularly, their income, this past year, more than doubled. They got back far more than they gave out. The principle of tithing is give and you will get back. Giver’s get! Give what you want back!

It doesn’t require massive action. Of course, you can be passionate and expend massive action. Simple, little steps in the right direction, can be enough. Simple, consistent, persistent, right actions, prove plenty powerful! Take them. Begin today. Make it happen!

You want energy, give it. You want money, give it. You want motivation, give it. You want respect, give it. You want love, give it. You want attention, give it. You want trust, give it. You want loyalty, give it. You want support, give it. You want cooperation, give it.

How To Create: Do What You Can Then Let It Happen

“Mindset is everything. Attitude is everything. What mindset and attitude do you need to have, and adhere to, to make your dreams come true?  What should you think, feel and do to have the career, the life, the things you want? What can you do?

Keep the faith. Believe in yourself and your future. If you don’t yet, and you doubt, you must learn how to manage your thoughts and feelings, take control of your mind and thoughts, and develop your belief muscle. Like any other muscle, it grows strong with use.

People want things. If it is tough getting them, they give up. Many of us have grown up coddled and  enabled in ‘not’ doing positive things for ourselves.  We grew up being told we, ‘have to work hard’ and that, ‘life is tough and not fair’ and that, ‘few really get ahead’.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You’re Right

We have been deceived. It is far better to believe that you can learn how to do almost anything. You can! If you learn how to manage your thoughts and feelings, you can become unstoppable. If you learn how to, you can create the future you want. You can and will.

If you believe in yourself and you expect unexpected good to come your way, you can do almost anything you want. You can write your own ticket because you are making it happen. It is not happening to you or for you. Faith comes from doing and from repetition.

Affirm, and visualize. Chant your mantras daily. See your future in your mind. You will develop the faith habit if you continue to do it, repeatedly, for long enough. Believe in yourself. Develop unshakeable, unstoppable, belief in yourself. Learn to be competent.

Accept What Is – Let Go Of What Was – Have Faith What Will Be

Learn how to do what you want to do. Invest in yourself. Believe you will have everything when you need it, in its perfect time. It will unfold as it will, when it will. You plant the seed, tend to it, nurture it and let nature do it’s part. You do yours. Nature does hers.

Let go and let god, the universe or whatever you want to believe it is. Develop your mindset. Develop powerful feelings. Take appropriate, inspired action. Believe you can make it happen. Let go and get out of your way. Allow the fruits of your labor to unfold as they will.

Believe. Be grateful. Express your thanks and gratitude. Have fun. Delight. Enjoy.  Stay positive. Stay optimistic. Feel wonderful. Vibrate high. Where your attention goes, energy flows. Make it happen. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

How The Mind Helps Heal The Body

Here is a method for increasing our health and well being. We only have one mind and one body this go around,  at least, as far as we know. It makes sense to make the best use of our mind and body and to take as good care of it as possible. Imagine feeling better.

While mindfulness is a brand, the practice of meditation is of immense value. The benefits of meditation and positive thinking are worth making these a daily habit. Both of these have been shown to help us to live healthier in both mind and body. We get good results.

I enjoy sharing articles with you that can help you transform your life or at the very least help you gain a better understanding of topics and the need to create healthy daily routines and habits. Engaging in positive daily rituals will help you in many positive ways. Try it on!

Perception Is Everything – Change How And What You Perceive

The sub-header says it all, ‘How mental and physical health is affected by the way we perceive and relate to it’. Our mindset determines our mindset and our physical well-being. We cannot escape the affect of our thoughts and perceptions.

It is cyclic too. Our health affects our thoughts. When you feel on top of the world you think better and clearer. Mind and body are part of the same cybernetic system. The are one, in reality, but we tend to divide them. We use mind and body to navigate the world.

A healthy mind and healthy body is obviously optimal. This is why it is important seek to improve both as best we are able. It does begin with our thinking. Maintaining a positive attitude is one of the best things you can do for yourself. So is maintaining a healthy body.

Positive Thinking Is A Scam Don’t Believe It!

“In order to get really good at anything we must practice the right things, consistently, long enough. Not only practice but practice correctly. Because, we can practice wrong, and develop bad habits. Frequently, coaches have to correct, learned, bad habits in sports.

It is important to get proper, qualified, coaching right from the start. It is important to practice, correctly, right from the start. Given that, what else can one do to learn and grow positively, more easily and quickly? Practice maintaining a positive attitude in all things!

A positive attitude does not mean ignoring the negative. It means using the negative to get to the positive. When a negative thought occurs shift to the positive. If you think something you don’t want, or feel bad, once you become aware, change it, to what you do want.

Whether You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Positive thinking means you take into account contingencies, so that you have plans, in case things don’t go the way you want. It is not airy fairy ‘I can walk on water’ or ‘I can fly’ mentality. It is, ‘I could learn how to do these things with the right know how and equipment.’

It is knowing how to pursue your goals and dreams and remaining faithful to them, when the going gets tough. It is learning and knowing that you can get through the tough times by emphasizing your resources and putting them into action. It is thinking right.

It is feeling right. It is doing the right things. Negative thinking doesn’t do this. Correct, positive thinking does. It is not sitting in your room thinking ‘breakfast will appear’ or that the food in the fridge will somehow cook itself. It is doing it yourself. It is action.

Negative Thoughts Hold You Back – Nothing Else Holds You Back

It is doing it with the right attitude. Many people are mistaken about positive thinking. I see articles and videos bad rapping it because they misunderstand what it is and the purpose of it. They miss out. Positive thinking IS one of the most powerful things you can do!

Don’t miss out. Correctly practice! Don’t believe the positive thinking is a scam people. Believe in yourself! Go back and read through my blog posts. Study them. Apply the principles and practices and you will powerfully transform your life! You will.

If you apply them correctly you can learn to be, do and have almost anything you want. You will learn how to make things happen. Then it is all up to you. Positive thinking means becoming smarter and wiser. It means being dedicated or committed. It means persistence.

Replace Negative Thoughts With Positive And Get Positive Results

The best way to practice is to have fun. Be dedicated. Keep an open mind. Be intense, yet, work at it in a relaxed, positive, energetic way. Passion and optimism make a big difference. Pursue passionately. Bring positive energy and high vibration to everything you do.

Your life changes when you feel incredible. Delight and enjoy! Practice feeling your best. Transform less than glorious thoughts and feelings into better and more glorious ones. Practice gratitude and expressing it. Practicing always speaking positively about yourself, your life, events and others. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Everything Happens For A Reason Or Does It?

“It is whatever you claim it is. Reality is of your own making. I used to think this notion was BS. I now think, whatever you think, is important. The notion that everything happens for a reason does not have to be true. People think things have to be true or false.

All it has to do is fill the need. Minister to the moment and beyond. It may not be true but it may be useful to adopt. It is a reframe.  If we get past the notion of what is true or not we can begin to see how many things can benefit us in a variety of ways.

I choose to think about it as, is it supportive or is it not supportive? Does it allow a person to move forward and improve? Can the person improve their life? By changing their thinking about something, can they move forward? What does it serve to do?

To Me – Everything Is Wonderful – Life Is Wonderful

Can they move from hopeless to hopeful? Will they get over and on with it and not have to carry a wound around? The goal is not to live with open sores but to heal completely and experience great health. Some people promote surviving I support thriving. Thriving!

What might we do to become free? How to get there? Some people get over the most devastating events and are able to move forward. Some never recover from a mere stumble. Hopefully, friends, families, and strangers learn to act with compassion and support.

However, anything is possible. A major thought to keep in mind is ‘it isn’t over until it is over’. Keep the faith. Many people look back on the worst point in their lives and find they are grateful. That point, while painful then, brought them to a better place now.

Happiness Is About Loving What You Have – What Is 

One just never knows everything because we only see part of the picture. Some people attempt to help, but hinder, while hoping to be supportive and freeing. It is what it is. There are many maps and viewpoints or beliefs about ourselves and the world we live in.

I suggest we choose ones that are most supportive of us. Choose those which help you move forward and evolve as a person. There are endless possibilities. How many can you see? How many possibilities can you entertain? We need not be limited.

We need not remain victims. The road may be long or short. Life is filled with joys and sorrows. We need to learn to find the best in life and focus on that to live. To only remember sorrow sucks. To get up from a major fall and continue, is to our benefit. Live free.

What You Focus On Is What You Get – It Expands

You don’t have to believe anything happens for a reason. If it helps utilize it. If it does’t let it go. It may help if you believe, in the larger context, there is a purpose or a being guiding you, even if there isn’t. Even if there is. Reality is what we make it. What do you want?

How will you choose to live? Gratitude is an incredible healer. So is forgiveness. We need to forgive ourselves, others, circumstances and events. Others may include god or the universe. We need to appreciate ourselves, others, circumstances and events.

When we forgive, when we are grateful, we can become free. We can let go. We can see and feel things differently. Each comes to it in their own time. Some may never, in this life time, know the release they might be able to know. It is as it is. Be patient, loving and kind. Life is truly better, in all ways, when you can celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

To Stop Losing And Start Winning You Must Do This

“Our social conditioning contributes to our mindset. Sadly, not much of our co-opted conditioning, that which happens to us from birth through childhood, is profoundly useful for helping us to recognize the powerful creators we are. It seems to be designed so we miss it.

We applaud the notion, ‘the buck stops here’, but few embrace and live from that notion. Instead of taking 100% responsibility for ourselves, we place responsibility, for our success or failure, on others, our upbringing, outer events and circumstances.

This is insidious! We blame our parents, our education, our friends, our enemies, our lovers, luck, the government, the economy, foreign powers, terrorists, the weather, the traffic, our pets, the media, you name it. We blame ourselves, too. We blame everything. Everything!

Learn To Separate What You Feel From What Is Happening

We are conditioned to do so. We learn from our parents, teachers, peers, churches and synagogues, media and others. Changing ourselves and becoming successful means we have to change where we place the responsibility. We have to assume it! Aim inward!

We are 100% responsible for everything that happens to us. Good or bad, right or wrong, accept the responsibility. We alone are accountable. We create our reality 100%.  Our responses determine our outcomes. No one else, no other agency is responsible. We are.

 Accepting total responsibility separates the survivor from the overcomer; the victim from the victor. When one takes responsibility for everything, one takes control and puts oneself in the driver’s seat. That person determines how the ride will go.

Learn To Act In Spite Of Your Mood – Always Give 100 %

Regardless of the outer terrain, or the weather, that person determines how they enjoy it, and where they travel. If they must take detours, so be it. They don’t whine and complain, make excuses or blame. They adjust and continue. They find or create a way.

This is the mindset for making life wonderful. Nothing will change until you do. Accept this! Change your conditioned thinking from limited to unlimited. Opportunity can be all around you but unless you notice and act on it, you will miss out. You must do it!

Many people think luck, or god or the universe, or attraction is doing it to or for them. Sadly, most don’t experience the abundant life they could. They live like a cork bobbing in the water, going where the current takes it. The power to change is YOU. Most don’t realize this.

Keep Your Commitments – Live Deliberately – Make It Happen

They don’t assume their power because they live from the old, limiting, conditioned beliefs that other forces are more powerful than they are. Those who get ahead, unconsciously break through, or they work very hard to do so. They change their thinking.

You want to win? Develop a winning attitude. Change your mindset. Become a champion in your thoughts and feelings. The right mindset will lead you to the right, inspired actions so you start getting better results. You determine your success and happiness in life.

You determine the exact amount of your financial well-being. You are the author and creator of your life whether you realize it, and act like it, or not. You are doing it! No one else. Yes, I know. You might think others are. That IS the issue. The issue is always your mindset.

Paradise Is A State Of Mind – You Determine Where You Live

The issue is always the thoughts and beliefs you have that govern what you will and won’t do. To make everlasting, positive change, you must change some things. Mindset is the first thing you need to master. You won’t win with a loser attitude. Get it? Change it!

Start changing your thinking for the better. Take charge! Overcome your prior conditioning. Recondition yourself. Get yourself in great mental shape. Become a warrior in mind and spirit. Become a peaceful warrior. Your life will transform incredibly when you do. Love, laugh, learn, live fully and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

The Key To Living The Good Life

“The key to living the good life is to make each moment magical and magnificent! This is what we need to learn how to do. Take charge of your life and live it fully, non-stop. Learn to transform every disappointment into opportunity. Learn to celebrate everything!

Celebrate the big and small, the good and bad. As you do, you transform everything. YOU do it! You create your life every moment from the conscious and non-conscious decisions you make. You either live large or you live small. You either thrive or you die.

You decide every second. You create the quality of life from the quality of your mindset, emotions and feelings. You create the results. It is all your doing. Once you become aware and decide to make it different, you are on your way. It begins with a decision!

The Moment You Take Responsibility For Everything  In Your Life …

You must make a decision and follow through on it. Then one’s life becomes qualitatively different. Then you can thrive and live blissfully. Are you willing to choose to live the best life you can? Are you willing to take responsibility for making it happen? Are you?

Are you willing to stop believing in magic? Are you willing to stop waiting for circumstances to change? Are you willing to stop hoping to be lucky? Are you willing to stop blaming yourself, others and circumstances? Are you willing to stop making excuses?

Stop whining! Stop coming up with reasons why you can’t and why you don’t have what you want. Start coming up with reasons why you can and will get what you want! Start making it happen. No one will do it for you. You must decide to do it. It is your decision. Yours!

… Is The Moment You Can Change Anything In Your Life

Decide to live differently. Decide to live as a champion. Be a victor, not a victim. Be an overcomer, not a survivor. Decide to stop living an ‘okay’ life and determine to live the best life. It is all up to you! If you want your life to change, you must change what you think and do.

Smile and laugh more. Let your troubles roll off you like water off a ducks back. Don’t get hooked by the drama of circumstances. Stay centered and calm, like the eye of the hurricane. Don’t sweat the small or the big stuff. Learn to let go. Love more. Enjoy more.

Have fun! Accept and help others. Allow others to help you. Unite with positive people. Accept all circumstances as they are. It IS what it is.  Believe, for no reason at all, that all things happen for your good, even when they don’t seem like it. Re-frame events.

Take Responsibility For All The Consequences Of Your Choices

Find the lessons and opportunity within each. Consider everything a blessing. Read positive and inspiring material. Fill your mind with positive thoughts. Express positive feelings. Visualize and affirm. Act as if you already are the change you desire. Sing, dance, skip, shake or move but do those things that make you feel wonderful. Delight in all of it.  Celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes

How To Stop The Struggle Inside You!

“Your mind will always believe what you feed it. That is what it has been doing since you were born. Your subconscious mind doesn’t evaluate the content you are presented with, to determine whether it is right or wrong, or good or bad for you. It just accepts it.

It learns unconsciously through repetition. You and I have been fed some pretty crappy programming while growing up. Our mind’s believed it. It accepted it. It is not the truth! You and I only think it is. Get it? It is not YOUR programming. You borrowed it. We did!

You borrowed it before you knew what you were doing. Hence, you have lived from it as if it were yours. It isn’t! You can change it. That is what we have to do in order to transform. We aren’t responsible for the programming we adopted, but we are for changing it.

Think Positive – Be Positive And Positive Things Will Happen

Once we become aware that we have some crappy, limiting beliefs and programming we are 100% responsible for changing it. If you want your life to change, you have to change some things in your life. The ancients knew this. Buddha knew this. We aren’t our thoughts.

So we can change our thoughts to better serve us. Napoleon Hill pointed out we can begin to believe anything, any new thought, through repetition, and by the intensity of our feelings. This is how we were originally programmed. This is how we change it, too.

Feed your mind what you want it to believe, instead. Choose supporting, positive, helpful beliefs, instead of the limiting ones. Fill your mind with these. Repeatedly affirm with strong emotion, daily. Control your thinking. Manage the process and you become free.

What Consumes You Mind Controls Your Life

Stop limiting yourself. Start  feeding it faith. Feed it optimism. Feed it strength. Feed it hope. We become what we think about most frequently. What we focus on expands. Fill your mind with positive, optimistic material repeatedly, consistently, for long enough.

Your mind will accept it. You will begin living from the new thoughts. You will develop the positive thinking habit. Your life will transform. ‘Be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind’. Renew your mind and be transformed!

A Negative Mind Will Never Give You A Positive Life – Change It

Feed it gratitude. Feed it positivity. Do it daily. Moment to moment. Make this a part of your mission. That which occupies your thinking determines the results you get. Shift from the negative, less than glorious, crappy, thinking and believing. Do it. You can do this!

Shift from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can’ and ‘I can learn to do anything’. Anything IS possible when you believe it is! Henry Ford is famous for saying, ‘If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.’ Think you can! Begin today! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

An Actor’s Thoughts: The Importance Of Focus

“Why do I write about distraction and the importance of being focused? As an actor, concentration is everything. Energy flows where your attention goes. You must pay attention! This is true for everyone. What you focus on expands. Your thoughts do matter.

An actor must be of one mind. If the actor’s attention is split, part on the character the actor portrays, and part on remembering one’s lines, the performance will suffer. The actor’s full attention must be on the character created. This is why you rehearse and learn lines.

The actor rehearses to be free of distractions and free in the moment, as the character, to take advantage of opportunities that present, during the scene. The actor must listen and concentrate on the others in the scene. Attention is everything. Remember this!

Practice Creates Confidence – Confidence Gives You Power

This is true for all of us; everyone. We can learn from the actor’s commitment and dedication. The actor spends time memorizing and rehearsing so, when performing, it appears fresh, as if it is occurring for the very first time. BUT it is well rehearsed. It is practiced!

All of us can benefit from rehearsal and practice. Athletes and teams rehearse and practice. Musicians and all performing artists practice thousands and thousands of hours to be able to perform in real time. All skills require we wire them in; golf, swimming, piano, cooking.

Jugglers and tightrope walkers practice to get good and to make it look like they are doing some things for the very first time. They practice making it look dangerous and scary. Sometimes, it really is. They wouldn’t think to attempt something without wiring it in!

Every Practice Session Is A Learning Process – Learn Success

Why should we expect any less of ourselves when it come to making our lives great and our dreams come true? Manifesting what you want, making it happen, IS a skill. It requires practice. Managing your thoughts and feelings and actions require the same commitment.

Spend time each day affirming and visualizing what you want and you will get better at it. Take inspired actions toward your goal, get up off your butt and do something in that direction and you will get better at it. Read and fill your mind with positive thoughts.

Everyday do something. Even if it is only a little bit, it is better than nothing. Imagine. Act AS IF you already are and have what you want. The more time you put into creating it, the better you get, and the closer you get to actually having it. Practice, practice, practice!

Knowledge Is Useless Unless And Until You Put It Into Practice

When the going gets tough you get what you practice. You weather the storms better when you travel in advance of the world. You prepare for all events and circumstances by training and conditioning your responses. EMTs, firefighters all train to be ready.

Don’t expect any less of yourself. Commit to being the best. Don’t rely on magic, rely on you. YOU are much more likely to make it happen than wishing will make it happen. Practice success skills. Practice feeling happy and successful. Practice gratitude! Enjoy.

Be thankful. Practice positive thinking and attitude. Practice feeling joyful and enthused. Practice abundance. Feel abundance! Practice manifesting and creating. Make it happen. Practice getting along with others and support them. Practice listening and paying attention. Practice positivity. Practice focus. Practice speaking only to bless, heal and prosper. Practice celebrating! Practice feeling delighted! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
