Don’t Miss This Critical Point Few Realize: You Are Already That!

“What do you need to move forward? What do  most people need? Did you know that everything you need is within your reach. It is so close to most people, most people miss it. All you need to do to make massive, positive, powerful changes is wake up to it, recognize it, claim it and utilize it. This is a simple, but powerful message.

You are already that which you seek. You already have all the resources within you. You are the divine and simply forgotten. My job is only to remind you. Much of what I share is ancient wisdom handed down through the ages. I assembled what I have delved into, researched, simplified and synthesized for 4 decades.

I am not able to add anything to you, no one can. You can come into your own, realize who you are and the power you have within. All I really do through this blog, workshops, seminars, talks and materials is attempt to remind you. You are truly already that which you seek. You are playing that divine game of hide and seek.

Creating A Life You Love Takes Dedication

Your brain is designed so marvelously. It works, barring neurological damage, perfectly well. We grow up learning and absorbing what we do from those around us. Their learning, experiences and previous conditioning becomes ours through absorption. We learn by listening, modeling and experience.

None of what we learn is true. It isn’t untrue. It just is whatever it is. The best way to think about it is this way; it is either supportive or non-supportive, uplifting or not. It either helps us fulfill ourselves and live the lives we want or it doesn’t. It doesn’t matter whether it is actually true we believe it to be. We believe many false things.

When I and others before me, and around me, say you can take control of your brain, your mind, your thoughts and direct them to get what we want in life we mean it. The incredible creative and transformative power of being in charge of your thinking is amazing and we want you to experience it. You can. You really can.

It Is Fun To Live On Purpose

You don’t need anything added to you, except perhaps reminders, for you to assume control and begin to condition your mind to replace old unsupportive programs with new, updated supportive ones. You use the resources within yourself to exercise your will to accomplish this and your dreams.

It begins within you. Mentors and coaches can help and do but you must realize it is up to you to do it. We can’t do it for you. No coach can win the medal for the athlete. The athlete is the one who performs. It is the same thing here. We can model, guide, show, instruct, correct and remind, we can be a wake up call and that is it.

Everything else is your responsibility. If you want to create all the goodness you can enjoy realize you are already creating everything in your life good and not so good. The first step is your awareness as a creator. The first step is become aware and take full responsibility for EVERYTHING. No blaming or excusing. Time to own up.

Success Is A Deliberate Act

When you realize each moment is what you make it you realize incredible power to determine how you want your moments to be. You decide, is this a supportive or not? Is this bringing me increase or decrease? Is this what I want or don’t want? Then focus on what you want, that which increases enjoyment and is supportive.

You create, attract, manifest, make happen, allow, everything that is in your life right now. You will create, attract, manifest, make happen and allow everything that you have in your life in the next moment and beyond. NO one else is doing it to or for you but you. Remember, you are divine but have forgotten it.

You are made up of everything else there is. You are made of the same star dust as is everything else. You are vibrations, you are energy, atoms assembled as a bag of skin and bone, a carbon based biped but in it all you are the same energy with all that is. You are one and the same. You have the wisdom of the eons within you.

Direct Your Manifesting Powers

You are an expression of all that is and has ever  been. You can believe it or not. It doesn’t matter. Believe what is supportive, positive and leads to your increase. Believe what helps you live your dreams while allowing others to live theirs. Believe what brings you greater happiness, love, success and positivity.

Your power comes from your thoughts, your beliefs and the decisions you make. You either decide to assume responsibility and control or you decide to allow others that responsibility and control. One brings you greater freedom than the other. One allows you to live your bliss the other to suffer more. Still, only you can decide.

My job, a mentor or coaches job, is to be the wake up call, the alarm clock, the voice in the wilderness, the loving family member who nags you into doing it. We invite. I invite you to begin to live an incredible life if you aren’t happy with the life you have so far. If you want better you can have better and allow others the same.

Live Your Truth

So the reminder I invite you to look into each day, with each blog, each talk, each workshop, each daily discussion is to remember how wonderful you are and what an incredible creator you are. You already are. The question is only this, are you creating what you want to have that delights you and brings you more of the same?

If not, then begin now. The power is in your very next decision. Live the life of your dreams by recognizing who you are and what you are capable of. Begin to aim your focus at all that is good, right, working, supportive, positive and up-lifting. Enjoy, appreciate and celebrate whatever you have already created. Acknowledge your strength.

Even if you lacked good taste or judgement or positive know how until now, accept and celebrate. Be thankful you realize you are responsible because that allows you to focus on what you prefer. Manage your thoughts focus on what you want to have. Instead of being a haphazard creator become a deliberate creator.

When You Change Your Focus You Can Change Anything

Include that which is wonderful and focus on that to the exclusion of all else. Allow yourself to use your heart and mind to create the career, love, happiness, success, wealth, health you want to have. Bring about what you think about because you already do. Use good taste and good judgement to make your life blissful.

Fill each moment with delight, appreciation, feeling wonderful, and you will have more of the same. You will create it, attract it because you will be it do it and have it. Remember, who you are. You are responsible. You can deliberately create. That is your future and it begins right now. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Transformation Doesn’t Happen Doing Things That Don’t Work

“How do you get what you want when circumstances seem to run counter to what you want to accomplish? What do you do when faced with real problems? What does it mean to ‘think positive’ and control your thoughts and direct your mind?

This is a follow-up from my last post. I switched posts today to include this response to a question I was asked. I decided to utilize it as my blog for today because the information applies to all areas of life. Be sure to read tomorrow’s blog as well.

Yesterday, I included a quote from Napoleon Hill that said we should get beyond our differences. The question asked was this, ‘How can this be accepted when there is an other that wants the worst for you? I mean real harm and is doing it.’

I have added some additional information here not included in my original reply. When I say ‘you’ I always mean, you and me.

Circumstances are almost never ideal for what you want to accomplish. The must be changed. You must push through them to get what you want. You decide what you want and focus on getting it.

The reason many don’t succeed is they sit waiting for conditions to be perfect before they try anything. That day rarely arrives. So they wait and they loose out. Wait all you will. Do nothing and nothing is what you get back.

Those who make their way dictate the circumstances. They plant by taking action and preparing the soil. The get it ready, plant the seed, and nurture it to fruition. The do what it takes to get what they want. They make the conditions work for them. They act.

Change Starts In Your Thoughts

You rise above it. You don’t stoop to another lower level. You get what you focus on. If you focus on harm you get harm. If you focus on hate you get hate. People need to focus on what they want to create and ignore what they don’t want.

If someone chased you down the street – run and get safe. THEN stop thinking about that event and create what you want for the future. If you think revenge you only perpetuate the cycle of violence. You must go beyond it.

Circumstances are almost never ideal for what you want to accomplish. The circumstances must be changed. You must push through them to get what you want. You decide what you want and focus on getting it. Circumstances may never be ideal. So?

Transformation Is Often More About Unlearning Than Learning

Those who make their way dictate the circumstances. They plant by, taking action and, preparing the soil. The get it ready, plant the seed, and nurture it to fruition. They do what it takes to get what they want. They make the conditions work for them. They act.

FACE it in all the thousands of years war has never succeeded. An eye for an eye has never ever succeeded. We still have war and we still have violence. Perhaps, we ought to do as the song says and actually, GIVE peace a chance.

We don’t get better by focusing on what is wrong unless it moves us away from what is wrong so we can focus on what is right. Fear won’t make you safe.  You can be locked behind closed doors completely physically safe and still exist in fear.

Fear can be a signal you need to be safe. But then you need to remove the fear from your mind and your mind from the fear. Otherwise, you can die in fear behind safely locked doors. How is that a better life?

Begin To Be Now What You Will Be Hereafter

You become what you think about. You attract what you are. Success breeds success. Happiness breeds happiness. Poverty breeds poverty. Sickness doesn’t breed health nor well-being. You don’t get well thinking how sick they were

ONLY by becoming what you want to have more of will you get what you want more of. Rise above the low levels, the low standards, the hate and violence. Become someone who doesn’t feed the negative.

Keep in mind the story of the two dogs fighting. The one who wins is the one you feed. Stay positive starve the negative.

Are there threats out there. Sure.  If you wonder why and dwell on it you feed it. If you decide to act safely, sanely, positively and peacefully your life and those of others might be better. If you decide to love others maybe others will too.

Go First

They certainly won’t if you don’t. Someone has to begin it. If you insist the other side starts before you do it will never happen because you still are living in blame and accusation and continuing to create more of the very things you claim to want to end.

Go First! You have to go first and be a trail blazer and an positive role model.  Be a leader and one who inspires others to do the same.

IF you want peace be peaceful. There really is no other way than to become what you want to be. It is BE, then Do those things consistent and congruent with your being and you will HAVE.

Poor, unhappy and the hateful think it is the other way around. If only we have it a certain way, or eliminate certain people or things then we could do those things that would make us be happy, successful, safe or better of.

Be The First

Or they think if they have the right conditions then they will be successful, happy and safe then they can do whatever their heart desires. It doesn’t work either of these to ways. That is why so few are successful, happy and safe. It is BE, DO, HAVE.

Hate mongers do what is consistent with their hate. They behave and act hatefully. So they have more people hate them as a result. It doesn’t end when you do the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. It hasn’t yet, has it?

It only can end when you break the cycle of doing what you do not want. The problem is hating is working to create more hating. You have to stop hating.

YOU have to stop hating FIRST for the possibility of it to end. If you ultimately want peace being pro war, pro hate, pro intolerance and violent you will never have it.

Be A Powerful Positive Inspiring Leader

You have to stop the cycle of violence and DO anything else in a positive direction. Then there is a greater chance for success.

Consider the rule of reciprocity which means if I do something nice for you, you feel obligated to return the niceness. I take you out for dinner and pay the bill what do you feel like doing in return? Take me out too, right? ‘I got it this time, you bought last time’. right?

Well, if I give you the finger and call you a name what do you feel like doing back to me? Only worse. Only bigger and harder so you teach me a lesson or so I can never again do it to you. Think of all the drivers flipping each other off. Road rage.

It takes two to tango. It takes, or more, to fight. If you don’t engage what is the other left with. If they give you the finger and you don’t get riled and return it what are they left with. It only gets out of control when people feed it, invest in it, engage in it, contribute to it.

Who Do You Lead?  Why, Yourself Of Course

If you don’t react with anger they drive off angry but it doesn’t escalate. SO in order to keep calm someone has to go first. Someone has to behave that way. Someone has to BE calm! Not pour gas on the fire. Disengage, withdraw the energy and put it into positivity.

Be peace, be love, be kindness, be generosity, be open. Be it, do it and you can have it! That IS how it works. Birds of a feather do flock together. Create a conspiracy of love and peace and happiness.

Create a world where there is enough for all (and there already IS enough for all) and more of the world will become nicer and nicer. Be a thought leader. Inspire others to positive action. Be a role model.

In order to get along YOU have to get along. In order to keep hate alive you hate, or do nothing, but worry about it. What you resist persists. Love could conquer all if people would BE more loving.

You Don’t Have To Be Great To Start

Be what you want to have. DO what you are and you will have more of that too. Whatever you are you get more back. We attract what we are. We attract what we are feeling. People respond to us.

If you are unhappy you get more unhappiness back. If you are broke and worried about debt you get more back. If you are happy you get more back. If you are rich you get more back. Whatever you are positive or negative you get back.

IT simply works this way. We have to face this and work with it.

Your results are an indication of what you are creating. What you are creating is a direct reflection of what you are thinking. Thoughts become things. From within to without.  If your outer world is disorganized it is because your inner world is first.

But You Have To Start To Be Great

Our actions speak louder than words and reflect who we are. What we have is an indication of what we think or don’t think. The outer world reflects our thought world. We create what we think about.

Use your thought intentions to create peace. Project love and peace and blessings. It may take some time and enough people but eventually it can work. It will take sometime because war is profitable for those who cause them.

People who can’t wrap their head around how we can have a peaceful world simply continue to perpetuate what we have. Their best options don’t solve anything because they aren’t at a different level where the solution exists. They are fighting fire with fire.

Want to be safe. Create a safe place. Make it safe for everyone. Work for what you want not against what you don’t want. Sadly, many who want safety don’t want it for everyone. They want  fear and chaos because they can profit.

Transformed People Transform People

They want to eliminate the threats rather than have real peace. They want war instead of solutions. We have to say no to these, then let go and turn our attention to creating what we want.

It is never going to happen by accident. It is never going to happen without resolve and commitment. It may take decades and decades. There is always a price to pay for success in anything.

Dedication to the cause. Athletes know the price of a gold medal. We shouldn’t expect anything to be without commitment. When we truly commit we can change ourselves and the world one by one.

You don’t pretend that problems aren’t there but instead of focusing on them you focus on what you want. Note the issue, use it to determine what you want and then focus on getting what you want.

Im Possible

I fell down today leaving my house. In my past I would have complained and bitched. This isn’t the perfect analogy but my point is, steer your thoughts to what you want to be, do and have in the future.

Today, I thought, I want to house with a safe entrance. For the purpose of this example, I could have focused on what is wrong with the house and complained and moaned about it. Instead falling made me think about what I do want. I want a safe entrance to my house.

What we do between now, the issue, and then, the future, is important. For the future to be what we want it to be we need to be it now. Tomorrow is based on today’s thoughts and actions.

We need to focus on what is good and right and working if we want more of that, then. If we focus on what is wrong and not working we will have more of that, then.

Limits Like Fears Are Just Illusions

NOW is the only time we have. What we do in this moment IS important. It determines what will be. BE now what you want the future to be. Accentuate the positive.

Take those positive actions to make it better. Then you can have a more positive future. Yet, too many people get distracted. The look at what they want, then they focus on what is wrong.

Then they remind themselves of what they want and then look at how it hasn’t happened yet. The focus on the gap between then and now and wonder why they have a problem. People stay stuck that way.

They stay stuck because of what they spend their time devoted to. The look at how they don’t have what they want yet and get more of the same in return. They create the absence of what they want.

Our Beliefs Aren’t True We Just Believe They Are

To make it work you have to maintain your predominant focus on what is wanted. You can’t go back and forth and expect to move much. Focus, focus, focus! Positive, negative, positive negative. It will always be negative mostly until it is mostly positive!

We become what we think about most often. We get what we think about day in and day out. If we are wishy washy we stay where we are. That is why more people don’t create better lives or all of us create a better world. We are distracted and wishy washy.

All of the media, the politicians, the religious leaders focus on what is wrong, sinful, bad, and how we don’t have enough, won’t have enough of and how others are out to take our share. They keep us thinking we are broken and there isn’t enough for everyone.

IT is a huge distraction that keeps us from uniting to focus on what we could have if we would aim for it. Stop being distracted. Get clear about what is possible and aim to create it. Stop buying into others agendas and let’s set ones good fore everyone.

Be Willing To Challenge Your Beliefs And Limitations

We need to tip the balance in favor of what we want. Simple enough. If you can’t see how that works THAT is the problem that first needs to be resolved. Become what you want to have in the world FIRST then you will see the way. Celebrate everything now and you can celebrate everything even more in the future. ” Rex Sikes

Trump This! What America And The World Needs Right Now That You Can Give It

“Here’s a quote that is critical and timely in our world today. If we made it our business to make the positive changes suggested, our world could and would be a much more enjoyable place.

“No matter what kind of riches you have, if you are not at peace with yourself, your fellow men, and those you work with, you’re not truly rich. You will never be rich until you learn through discipline to be at peace with all people, all races, all creeds.

My audiences have Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Gentiles, people of different colors, people of different races. To me they’re all the same color and religion. I don’t know the difference and I don’t want to know the difference, because in my mind, there is no difference.

I’ve risen above this idea of letting petty things such as racial differences anger me or cause me to feel the least bit out of step with my fellow man. I just won’t let those things happen, though there was a time when they did happen.

Did You Know Negative Thinkers Use Affirmations Too?

“You have heard the saying, ‘be careful what you wish for  because you might just get it.’ Have you ever had that experience. You worried, feared or dreaded something coming up and just as you thought it came to pass. Sucks right?

From the dawn of human kind, it seems, and certainly since early recorded history, AND today, neuroscience bears it out, thought precedes action. The predictor of the results we get is our thoughts.

The thought leaders in philosophy, science and religion have known this and promoted it for centuries. The wealthy, the successful and the powerful have known this.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

Of course, they don’t want anyone else to know it because the elite wants to remain elite. So they obfuscate it. Still, the truth wins out and we have been able to get it in various forms.

If you don’t use it you don’t know it. You may know about it but that is as far as it goes. What you know about it may be accurate or not. Many people are misinformed. Many people think they know.

IF YOU AREN’T DOING EVERYTHING IT TAKES to make your life more wonderful, your thoughts more positive, to feel your very best then YOU DON’T KNOW IT. You really don’t know it.

You Are Today Where Your Previous Thoughts Brought You

If you aren’t using it to improve yourself daily you are missing incredible opportunities and advantages. In order to feel your very best you need to think positively and do whatever it takes.

If you don’t think that is absolutely true then you prove my point.

If you think you can think just anything or any old way, and it doesn’t matter you are incorrect. What you think absolutely matters and creates effects. Our thoughts affect our body and our health.

What you eat or drink affects your health. Whether you get enough sleep or not affects your health.  Whether you move or exercise or not affects your health. Your thinking greatly affects your health.

You Will Be Tomorrow Where Today’s Thoughts Take You

If you don’t pay attention to what you eat, drink, whether you get enough sleep or exercise my guess is you aren’t in that great of mental, physical, emotional, spiritual shape or well-being.

How could you be in great shape if you let yourself go and don’t take care of yourself? You know your finances would be in terrible shape if you let them go and didn’t pay any attention to them, right?

Your thoughts matter. They may matter more than any of the rest of these things. They dictate what you do regarding these other areas. Your thoughts determine your feelings, your actions and results.

You Cannot Escape The Powerful Results Of Your Thougts

If you want to be able to do anything in this life you must believe it is possible. You must think that you can. You must be willing to try and want to do it in order to actually do it.

If you don’t believe it is worth it, or if it is too difficult and you don’t want to and if you are unwilling to attempt it then you won’t. You won’t even try. Will you? No, You won’t? Unless…

Unless what? What is it that would get you to do something you refuse to do? What would get you to do something you think you can’t do or see no benefit in? Consider this. What would it be?

What would have to occur for you to do it anyway? Think about it! What would have to occur for you to do it regardless? What would get you to start acting in your own best interests? What is it?

The Mind Is As Strong As Its Weakest Think

Whatever it is you just thought it. Whatever it is that would have to occur is what you THINK you need, what is necessary, for you to go ahead and do it. It is what you THINK has to happen. Your thought.

Perhaps, you thought either you would have to want to feel like it in order to act. OR someone would have to force you to act. OR circumstances  would have to get so bad that you finally act.

Don’t you see? Are you able to recognize the thought process here? Can you become aware of what needs to change in order for you to change? Because you won’t until you do! Isn’t that right?

Thoughts Are Things – Choose Wisely

What do your thoughts prevent you from doing? What do your thoughts assist you in doing? It makes a difference, doesn’t it, what you think? The actions you will or won’t take are based on your thoughts, right?

You won’t change unless you wan’t to. You will stay exactly as you are! Won’t you? Because nothing works. It is too hard. You don’t know how. You didn’t get the right info. You weren’t raised this way.

Your parents are to blame, right? No they were conditioned the same as you. They just passed it along they way they got. You will too unless you interrupt and change the process. It is true!

You Get What You Think About Most Often

Positive thinking transforms you from an ‘I can’t’ person to an ‘I can’ person. When you change how you think you change how you feel. Whatever your thoughts are determine your reality. Choose well!

You can have more positive powerful energy. Put yourself in charge of you and manage your thoughts and feelings. Aim for the best and make it the very best. Don’t settle for anything less.

Positive thinking is active. You take control. It isn’t not passive. Your default thinking mode is previous, negative conditioning. Admit it you have negative thought habits. We all do. Change it!

Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes

That is why we have to take control of our mind and direct it toward the positive. Aim it at what we can do to achieve our goals and dreams. If you don’t run your mind your mind will run you.

As it has been doing. You have been living from your previous, past, prior, negative habitual chronic conditioning. That is why your default thinking mode is less than glorious. It is negative. It is, right?

Once you take control you can replace your habit of negative thinking.  When that is replaced with the habit of thinking positive you begin getting better results. Life becomes far more pleasurable.

How Do You Eat An Elephant? One Bite At A Time

You transform yourself, your mental, emotional and physical health  will improve. You begin making your dreams come true. You are able to to get the results you want. You create the life you want.

You start creating and becoming what you want to be. You begin doing what you want to do. AND you start getting what you want. Money, home, cars, new job, family, friends, career you name it.

You feel you are worthy. You deserve good things. You are more capable to get them for yourself. You can be, do and have anything you want in life. You feel great because you think great!

Whatever You Want To Do With Ease You First Do With Diligence

Keep going until you get them. When you think positively you will persist because you won’t let thoughts prevent you from prevailing. You overcome obstacles and negative circumstances.

You know you can win and you accept that challenges are a part of life. You live and act as a champion, a winner, a victor. You succeed because you know you can and you don’t let anything stop you.

That is what positive thinking is. It is a way of life. You take control, 100% responsibility for yourself and you transform yourself into a person who looks for opportunity and solutions.

If you want to do anything you know you can learn how.

Begin by watching your thoughts. When you become aware of your of a negative thought change it. Deliberately steer or redirect your thinking to positive thoughts. It may take practice at first.

Awareness Is The First Step In Transformation

You will get better in time. Be patient. Find positive thoughts that make you feel good and affirm them. Declare them, repeat them often, out loud with enthusiasm. Stay focused on the positive.

Negative thinkers affirm negative thoughts too. Keep that in mind. An affirmation is any declaration following ‘I am’ or ‘I have’. You can affirm ‘I am rich’ or ‘I am broke’. You can affirm ‘I feel healthy’ or ‘I feel sick’.

Usually negative affirmations are expressed emotionally too. Affirmations work by powerful emotion. If you are angry and frustrated while negatively affirming they are powerful.

A Hammer Can Be Used To Build Or To Tear Down

When you positively affirm you want to do so happily, energetically, enthusiastically, confidently. The more emotion the quicker they work. The more they take hold. Emotions make affirmations work.

What we pay attention to and concentrate on is what we get. So affirm positive thoughts. Repeat them over and over. Manage your thoughts daily until it is a habit to naturally think positive.

Yes, it takes effort. Nothing in this world is free. It comes with a cost. You must pay the price with your energy, time and commitment but the reward is great. When you are willing to pay the price you will begin to reap the great rewards.

Doubt Kills More Dreams Than Failure

You need to believe in yourself and know that you can make a difference. You must know you can make you dream come true if, you believe you can and, you take action to accomplish it

Doubt Kills More Dreams Than Failure Ever Will!

Failure is an opportunity to learn. All failure is temporary unless you throw in the towel and quit. What kills more dreams than failure? Doubt! It is sad when people doubt themselves instead of trust.

You may not know how, yet, but if you move forward, you will see farther the further you go. Standing here right now you may not be able to see the forest through the trees but it is there.

With your seeds planted in the ground there may not be any evidence that you can see that they will break ground and grow into wonderful strong thriving plants. You must patiently wait and trust.

If You Think You Can Or You ThinkYo Can’t You Are Right

Circumstances around you may be difficult and you aren’t yet able to see your way to the future but don’t give up. Stop, and instead of doubting, decide you will do whatever it takes to get what you want.

You can take whatever positive actions, that benefits you and others, and move forward step by step, bit by bit, getting closer and closer to your goal. Obstacles are only speed bumps.

They may seem insurmountable but they are not. Here is a suggestion for you. Trust yourself! Doubt you will fail. If you are going to doubt put it to work for you. Doubt your problems will last.

Thoughts Are Things – Choose Good Ones

Doubt that anything is too difficult for you to prevail. Doubt that circumstances will get worse. Doubt that you are limited in any way. If you have to doubt anything use good taste. Doubt your doubts.

Make it work for you. Decide you won’t let doubt win. You win! You dictate how things will be. Trust, have faith, believe in yourself and know that when you come from your power you can do anything.

Believe in yourself and believe you will make your dreams come true. Do whatever you need to, to keep the lamp lit that lights you way. Focus on the positive, focus on the CAN DO and do it.

What You Think About Most Often You Become

Never let hard times or old, chronic, habitual conditioning keep you from being, doing or having what you want. Never let a negative thought or doubt rob you of your dreams.

Align your resources and move forward. Steel yourself. Know champions may have doubts from time to time but they push through them. You can too! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Are You Bigger Or Smaller Than Your Problems?

“This is an critical question. Are you bigger or are you smaller than your problems? If you have big problems it means you are a smaller person by comparison. Do you think you will solve them at that size?

I have written and shared within these pages that what you think about you get. An immutable law of the universe. Whether positive or negative you manifest what you spend most of your time thinking about.

Your brain doesn’t care whether it is positive or negative, good or bad for you, true or false it just provides you with more of the same. Your Reticular Activating System seeks matches inside and outside of you.

Believing Is Seeing

Nothing has any meaning except the meaning we assign it. The world went on prior to the arrival of humans and no one judged days as good or bad, catastrophic or calm and wonderful. Humans make evaluations.

Enter the human enter judgements. Days became good or bad, weather became good or bad. Situations became good or bad large and small. We assigned meaning to these for the first time.

There is no intrinsic meaning without human perception. That is all there is, our perceptions. Our perceptions are formed by our previous past conditioning, our experiences, the beliefs, values and opinions we have formed.  We use these and assign meaning.

Nothing Has Any Meaning Except The Meaning We Assign It

Perceptions are limited by our neurological processes and filters, our five senses. We don’t see the world, situations and events as is, we perceive these only in part. We can’t perceive the entire picture, through our processes and filters. We have limited info to begin with. However limited it doesn’t stop us from making judgements.

The purpose of this blog is to inspire, motivate and show you how else things can be. If we’re going to believe a fiction why not believe one that serves us better and supports us to make positive things happen. Believe the best version you can and make it happen.

Since we have been conditioned and respond from that conditioning automatically whether we want to or not, perhaps, it is time to change our conditioning  to respond automatically in a way we would like to. Then we could begin to get the results we want to get.

If You Think You Can Or You Think You Can’t You Are Right

I have shared with you the importance of developing a positive CAN DO mindset instead of a negative can’t do one. We become what we think about most often. So become a powerful person of action.

Our thoughts determine our feelings, our feelings our actions or lack of them, our actions or lack of them determine the results we get. Thoughts precede actions.

Can Do helps make more things happen than can’t do. A Can Do person is a person focused on solutions. If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right. Remember?

You Get What You Focus On

What you focus on is what you get. Are you predominantly focused on what you want or don’t want,? Do you celebrate what you have or focus on what you don’t have?

Do you love life or is it just okay? Are your problems big or small? Think about this for a moment? If your problems are big it means you are a small person. It should be the other way around.

I have discussed living as a winner, a victor, a champion an emperor. Why? Because the mindset of these are dedicated to success and accomplishment. You should be bigger than your problems.

You Attitude Determines Your Altitude

I write of an unstoppable attitude, one of commitment and persistence and often discuss Olympic Athletes as examples. These athletes know the commitment conditioning takes.

They commit, train for 4 years or longer, whether they feel like it or not, for seconds worth of competition. Those who get to compete are world class whether they medal or not.

The attitude, the dedication is wonderful. It is admirable. It is the kind of dedication we should have. Train your brain and your thoughts as an olympic athlete trains their mind and body.

If You Have A Big Problem It Means You Are A Small Person

So here is my question? What size are you? Are you bigger or larger than your problems? Are you in charge or do they dictate how you and life will be?

When you think about them do they loom over you or do you understand that all obstacles are there to learn from, resolve and move on. We grow through our struggles. We evolve.

The kite rises against the wind. Steel is hardened in the fire. Are you a champion or not? Are your problems larger than you or are you larger than the problems?

It Is All A Matter Of Perspective

Stop focusing on the size of your problems. Begin focusing on the size of you! The bigger you are inside you own mind the more easily you can handle things. The more we do the more we can do.

It is time for you to decide, don’t you think? Dedicate yourself to becoming solution focused instead of problem focused. Focus on what you want not lack or problems or what you wish to avoid.

Stop focusing on the problem and begin to focus on your goals and dreams. Take charge and determine you will pay attention to what you decide to pay attention to. You can aim your attention.

Decide Right Now To Be Bigger Than Your Problems

Steel your mind. Adopt the winner, the victor mindset and put your problems into perspective. There is no meaning except the meaning you assign. So assign meaning that works for you and supports you!

It is time to become larger than life and live like an emperor. Live as one who can and does successfully resolve difficulties no matter how difficult. Be the champion, the victor, the emperor.

Most negative people think of problems as overwhelming. Most successful people understand that all problems are simply things we handle on a daily basis. They are no big deal. They can be handled.

Be The Champion Be Unstoppable

They master their problems instead of letting problems master them. You can too. Devote yourself to learning to master your problems, handle them, and you become unstoppable

In an earlier blog I wrote about David and how he rushed and slew Goliath. David didn’t see Goliath as a giant and a massive threat, instead he trusted and declared that this day god would prevail.

Cut your problems down to size. Stop whining about problems and start seeking solutions. Speak only to bless, heal and prosper. What you say is what you get. Focus on solutions. Focus on your goals.

Your Future Depends On Your Decisions Now

The outer results are only a reflection of what is going on in your inner world. What you experience today comes from prior thoughts and conditioning. If you want tomorrow to be different you start your change today. Think differently and your life changes!

Decide you will be bigger than any problem Decide to be the victor, the champion, the emperor. Dictate your results don’t let them dictate you. BE bigger.

Someone once said, ‘the size of the problem doesn’t matter but the size of you does.’ Put your problems into perspective. This is what you can do. You can decide to never let a problem rob you of any success of happiness.

Our Struggles Make Us Stronger Celebrate Them

You are competent and able to handle anything that comes your way. If you don’t know how you can learn how.Your struggles are making you stronger as a result. You are tried and tested by fire. The kite rises against the wind.

Inside every challenge is a learning and an opportunity if you look for them. Live as the victor. Live large. Be the emperor of your life. Know you can handle anything.  AND celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Isn’t It Time To Be The Person You Always Wanted To Be?

“Isn’t it time to be the person you always wanted to be? Don’t you want the career, the relationship, the life you always hoped you could have? If you want more success and happiness you have to make new decisions.

You must decide, to choose, how you want to think, feel, act and live your life. I shared some ways you can begin to do that in my recent blogs. Here is something else you can do.

Give Yourself Permission To Change For The Better

If you don’t decide now you are living from a past decision. If that is fine with you then carry on. If, however, you wish things were different, you want to get better results, you don’t like your present circumstances, if this is how you think and fee, then you must make a new decision.

You must take the bull by the horns and choose to change things in your life that will enable you to make a difference for yourself. If you don’t decide, someone else chose for you, perhaps recently, perhaps a long time ago when you were very young. Still, someone chose for you. You need to make your own decisions. Don’t live from the past.

If you don’t act in your own best interest now, today, in the present, some other decision, made by some other person, that you adopted is controlling you and your outcomes. If you are okay with that carry on. If not change it now. You are the only one who should be in charge of yourself and your destiny. You need to be in control.

Your Future Does Not Depend On Your Past

Decide to be different. You may say, ‘wait you don’t understand, it is not that easy’. I understand it is not easy and that it COULD be easy. Whatever you think it is what it will be. If you think it is hard, you will be correct. If you think it easy, you will be right then too. Your thoughts make it so. Whatever you focus on expands.

Your thoughts determine what you get. Your thoughts create your feelings. Your feelings  lead to your actions (what you do or what you don’t do) which lead to the results you get. The starting point for all the results is your thoughts. If you don’t like the results you have been getting then you need to change your thoughts. Start now.

Give yourself permission. Make it okay for yourself to think and feel differently. Give yourself permission to see and feel and act differently, to get different, better, positive, powerful results. Give yourself permission to change your life for the better. Give yourself permission to make a new decision. Allow it. Permit it. Accept it.

Your Future Depends On The Decisions You Make Today

Once you do many things change for the better. They will remain the same as long as you remain the same. As long as you act from the past you will continue to get what you have always got. Move into the present, decide now.  Give yourself permission to use and enjoy your present to create a more wonderful future.

Some people never change because they don’t feel it is okay that they do. They remain stuck. You may need to give yourself permission and that is fine. Go ahead. Acknowledge that is is okay for you to move forward. It’s okay to change positively. Allow yourself to be okay with the unknown.  The future is wide open.

You can accomplish many things in the future once you get beyond being stuck. What keeps someone stuck is mostly old chronic conditioning. That’s okay it served you for a time and now it is time to change, let go and move forward in a positive direction of YOUR choosing. Permit yourself to be free of the past and take charge now. When you do it can begin to feel incredible. Enjoy it.

Enjoy feeling positive! Feel good about moving forward. Enjoy realizing this is the beginning. Many new ways of being can open up to you. Isn’t it time to be the person you always wanted to be? Do those things you always wanted to do. Have those things you have always wanted. Isn’t it time for you to begin today? Being right now! Delight and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Leader Or Sheeple? If You Aren’t In Charge Who Is?

“Some people never come into their own power. Sadly, they never know the upper reaches of their talents and abilities. They are truly rich but live as paupers. Wouldn’t this be a terrible way to live?

They have it all and can have more but they never realize what is theirs. They live below their means, below their resourcefulness, below their happiness and wealth quotient. I refuse to live that way.

What about you? Wouldn’t you prefer to live up to your potential? Wouldn’t you want to have more of all the good things you can have? Don’t you want the best for yourself? Maybe, you say ‘yup’, but you aren’t sure how. I’ll show you how. Read on.

What You Think About Expands

You can accomplish more and make your dreams come true when you begin to live intentionally. Too many people live haphazardly, they are victims of circumstances and events. They move through life from one upheaval to the next, as a cork bobs on turbulent water.

Occasionally, they can rest, relax and enjoy themselves once they put out all the fires. If this is you, you can change this when you decide too. There is great power in learning to decide and live and act decisively. There is power in choice and in choosing.

Instead of letting things happen choose how they will be. Decide. Decide to take charge. Decide to be responsible. Decide to commit and follow through on your commitments. Determine to make the most of all your moments in your life. Decide to live passionately.

What You Think About You Bring About

Live with enthusiasm, confidence and positivity. How? Make the decision. Then act on it. Don’t wait, don’t expect help from the outside. Realize if things are going to change you will have to change some things.

Today, live with intention. Determine how you will greet the day, how you will think and how you will act each moment throughout the day. Yes, you will forget, and slip up, but choose to become aware of when you act with intention and when you don’t.

Exercise your power to decide and determine how you will think and feel about situations. It requires awareness, mindfulness to stay with your choices and to notice when you have forgotten and move yourself back on purpose.

You Become What You Think About

You have a meeting. Determine how you will think about it in advance. Use your imagination, visit your mental movie theater and visualize how you look and sound and behave when you are resourceful. Declare it, affirm it.

Run the mental scenario and rehearse it in your head. Take some actual time to do this. Later, you meet your friends or family, imagine in advance how you will think, feel and behave resourcefully. See how you look, sound and move. Rehearse it in your mind.

Choose how you want it to go. Decide! Imagine it. Mentally review and rehearse it. Tweak it. If it is a problem you know you are going to encounter see how you behave resourcefully to get through it. Possibly, you resolve it. Perhaps you don’t. But see how you remain positive.

Thoughts Are Things

Use your brain to get you what you want. Not everything will go according to your visualization. Don’t make that a condition. Expect things to go well and if they don’t expect to be able to handle them competently, confidently and positively. Make the plan and then work the plan.

In sports there is defense and offense both are necessary. Contingency planning is important. If you know you will encounter a tough time, imagine it being tough but see yourself able to get through it the way you prefer too. Ask yourself, what do you need to pay attention to in real time to be able to do this? Then rehearse it.

If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got. SO practice the new behaviors in advance of needing them. Review and review again and again. Mentally rehearse. So that when the tough moments arrive you are prepared.

If You Don’t Like The Results You Got Change Your Thoughts

Each time you decide to be in charge and be aware, each time you mentally rehearse you will exercise many mental and behavioral muscles. You will reap countless positive benefits. You will grow and develop so many positive muscles to do many more positive things.

You will exercise your ability to be aware and recognize when you serve and support yourself and when you are off base. You will exercise your decision power and your will when you decide to return to acting with intention.

You will exercise your ability to control your thinking and feeling to think positively, powerfully, to feel better more of the time. You will exercise you ability to triumph over any circumstances and make things happen. You will exercise your ability to be in charge, dictate the results you get and enjoy more of life, Isn’t that worth it?

Nothing Is More Impossible Than You Believe It To Be

Guess what, there are some bonus learnings and benefits I will leave to you to discover. What does it mean to set an intention?  It means to determine in advance how you will think, feel and behave. You decide, you create in your imagination, your run it, review it, repeat it. It is what you intend to do and make happen.

Each night before you good to sleep, do your gratitude and success list. Then decide how you want to arise in the morning and how you WILL arise. Imagine getting up in the morning and watch yourself. Hear yourself, feel the positive feelings as you do this in your mind.

Do you drag your ass out of bed or do you leap positively, cheerfully into your day? Decide before you go to bed how you will awaken the next morning. Then in the morning awaken that way. Do what you planned to do from the night before.

Throw Out Any Beliefs That Hold You Back

Don’t expect to be controlled like a puppet and do it without your own volition. That is the mistake too many people make. They think something will possess them to do the new things. NOPE! You must go ahead and carry it out. It is YOU doing it not some power.

What happens if you don’t?  Keep at it until YOU do. After all, who is in charge? Is it you or your old habits? If you want to succeed in more areas of your life you need to be the one in charge. Take control of your life by declaring, asserting and confirming you are! Because if you aren’t the one in charge, WHO IS?

Stop the old chronic programming that neither serves or supports you. Create new habits. How? Set intentions and then fulfill them. True, it won’t always be easy but it will be worth it. You may not always feel like it but it will be worth it to follow through.

Concentrate On The Job At Hand And Get It Done

Your muscle and ability to be in charge will grow when you take charge and consistently follow through. If you screw up begin again. So what if you screw up. No big deal. Professional baseball players strike out more than they hit but that doesn’t deter them.

Keep beginning again until you master it. Never give up, persist and you will have incredible breakthroughs eventually. Stop hoping for instant change and dedicate yourself to a life long pursuit of increasing your talents and abilities. Then you’ll find many blessings.

The positive results and enjoyment you get back from being responsible and in charge will delight you.  Live the lifestyle of a leader, and emperor, a champion and you will be thrilled. It will exceed your expectations because you haven’t lived that way, yet.

You Have All The Resources Necessary To Make Any Change

It is all in your hands. Decide now how you will live moment to moment. Victor or victim? Leader or sheeple? It is all up to you and only you how you choose to live. What will you do? Lead yourself in positive ways into positive opportunities and delights. Celebrate everything!”  Rex Sikes

The Secret Few Know. You Can Actually Pave The Way For Good To Come Your Way

“Would you agree we are limited by what we don’t know, yet? We are also limited by what we think we do know. We are constrained by both, knowing and not knowing. Still, we often act as if we know how the dire circumstances of our life will work out. We expect difficulties to get worse. Guess what, when we do, they do.

In my post previous post I mentioned being grateful for challenges that come your way. Obstacles and speed bumps present learning opportunities especially if you choose to look at them this way. They aren’t really good or bad, they are what we believe about them.

That which we believe is that which we will see. Believing is Seeing. AND what you see is what you get. The circumstances are and will be whatever you declare them to be. SO why not declare them to be blessings and operate from that mindset. It frees your thinking up!

I wrote about TRUST. A great mindset, or attitude, to develop about your circumstances is, ‘Everything IS okay! Everything will be okay. It will work out for the best. It always does. I always land on my feet. Some unexpected good is coming my way, I don’t know how or when or what it is but good is coming my way’. AND celebrate.

Face it. We see through neurological filters. We see through our previous, past, chronic conditioning and limitations. If you want to see and discover new wonderful opportunities you have to change your mindset so that you are ABLE to see and recognize them.

When you open up to the fact that things aren’t as they appear, you can be open to the possibility that good things are coming. When you recognize that you provide the meaning of all circumstances, you can assign the meaning that best serves you. You can literally pave the way for more good to come your way.

After all , if you are going to look back on a tough time and laugh, or consider it a blessing, or consider it an important life changing moment that was disguised back then, why wait?  Why not do it right now? Transform all your present moments.

You have the potential to make all your days much more marvelous by what you think and believe. What you think about you bring about. Your thoughts create your reality and give meaning to your circumstances. When YOU are in charge, as you should be, then you can assign whatever meaning you want there to be.

Dictate how you will think, feel and go through your circumstances. Decide whether it is a blessing or not. Consider it a blessing and trust that everything will work out for the best? After all, it usually does. In the long run everything tends to work out for the best anyway,

Truly, it usually does, BUT even if it didn’t, by adopting a more resourceful and resilient mindset you create for yourself more benefit than a narrow, negative limiting one. You open yourself up to your own resources and can discover possibilities you otherwise would likely miss. You benefit by staying open to positive possibility.

Remember, like attracts like. Birds of a feather flock together. You create and attract your circumstances by you thoughts. Thoughts are things. Very powerful things. What you believe is what you get. What you focus on expands. You become what you think about. What you think about you bring about. Attitude determines altitude.

The choice is yours. Suffer and burn or celebrate everything. Know deep inside you, everything always works out. You can handle it no matter what. Good things are coming your way even if you can’t yet see how. Have faith and enjoy the process. TRUST! Unexpected good is coming! All of life gets better when you delight, enjoy and celebrate everything” Rex Sikes

What To Do When Challenges And Obstacles Arise

“As you pursue you dreams and goals obstacles may arise. Things, people generally perceive as ‘bad’ or unwanted, may come up. Your path could be fraught with difficulty. If so celebrate and continue on.

Of course, you exclaim, ‘celebrate, Rex are you out of your mind?’ The answer is, ‘of course, yes!’ Let me explain to you what I mean. Trust. It is all about trust.

It can be trust in an outer god if you like, but I prefer to put that trust in myself.  So when I mention trust, I refer to trust in you. Still it can be can be trust god or in the universe. Whatever works for you.

Learn To Trust Yourself

Many people don’t trust themselves, heck they don’t even know themselves.  They aren’t yet aware of their resourcefulness, talents and abilities because most of their lives they focus on limitations and negative outer circumstances.

They blamed themselves, others and events. The time has come to stop that. The time has come to take responsibility for everything, whether or not you actually are.

ACT AS IF you are responsible for whatever happens. When you embrace this attitude it gives you great power and control. TRUST! When you are in charge you are responsible. Be in charge. Claim your power by accepting responsibility and end making excuses.

There are opposites, hot, cold, up, down, good, bad. There is day and night, winter and summer. The tide comes in and the tide goes out. There is happiness and sorrow. We need to accept these and work with these instead of resisting them.

You Actually Already Have All The Resources You Need

When you encounter difficulties along the way, a useful mind set to adopt is that it is a test of your strengths and abilities. You protest, ‘but that isn’t real!’ In all probability it isn’t, but it is a useful mindset to adopt.

From neuroscience we know that everything is a matter of our perspective. We don’t actually know what is real or even interact with it. We act on limited information. We are constrained by our own neurological filters BUT we believe things to be as we perceive.

In other words we believe whatever our version of reality it is. But we don’t ever have the whole, complete picture. We have a fraction. So our version is never THE correct version. It is simply A version. It is not necessarily even accurate and definitely not true. It just is.

Consider this, I have discussed it before. Many horrible events that people think they will never make it through, some time later are looked back on and viewed as the most important, significant, life changing event in their life. They see it completely differently years later.

With other events, we are able to look back and laugh. This tells us it isn’t so much the event that is important, although we think it is. It is our reaction to it, our perception of it and the meaning we place on the event. We decide whether the event is good or bad.

So what is the ‘truth’ about the same event viewed differently? There isn’t any set truth. There is only the truth we give it. From our perspective, in one moment in time, it is bad. From a different perspective in another different moment in time it is good.

You Have All The Resources You Just Don’t Know It Yet

So what is it really? The actual event is neither.  The only meaning the event has is what we give it. We judge, we label it. We call it as we believe it to be. Then after a while, we think about it differently. It takes on new significance and new meaning. It is all in your mind.

So consider adopting the mindset that you are being tested. Whether you are testing yourself, or god or the universe is, or it is a random pop quiz, you are being tested. This can help you get through it. The test is to find your strengths and abilities. Cool.

There is another useful and wonderful mindset to adopt.

You are being challenged and it is a game. The stakes of the game go up. Your obstacles are worthy opponents. You want good opponents. A game really isn’t much fun unless there is a challenge to it.

Most great gamers seek the best, most talented, difficult opponents to play with, they don’t want it easy. They want significant challenge THAT is worthwhile and meaningful. Play the game with gusto.

Believing Is Seeing – That Is How It Really Works

TRUST as you move forward on your desires, take action, follow you plans, that as long as you continue, no matter what comes your way, no matter what obstacles and challenges arise that they will eventually go away. Nothing lasts forever. It will again be easier.

The tumultuous path will settle and smooth out. Night will again give way to day. TRUST that these obstacles were important for you to experience. They provide lessons you can discover when you look.

You can learn from  these if you remain open and available to their messages. Welcome the obstacles and challenges and troubles for what you can learn about yourself, others and life.

The Kite Rises Against The Wind

They are their for you to become aware of and discover wonderful things about yourself and your transformation. Your challenges are actually blessings, opportunities, lessons.

Is any of this true. Yes and no. It is whatever you believe it to be. I can’t definitely say there is anyone pulling strings, that isn’t my purpose here. I think all is good. All is divine.

We struggle with moments large and small, but it is all part of one thing. LIFE! It is only the human who judges whether something is good or bad, valuable or not. You can learn to  reframe problems.

Inside Every Adversity Is The Seed Of Equivalent Opportunity

Prior to human consciousness on the planet things just were. Huge tectonic upheavals, earthquakes, volcanos, ice storms and ice ages, violent weather and sunny wonderful days. There was no one to complain or to admire the beauty.

Enter the human. Now there are good days and bad days. There are better days of the week and less desirable days. Humans judge. That is part of our suffering. We make judgements that cause us pain.

TRUST you will get through it. It is easy when you are in a state of let go, acceptance and celebration. Embrace it and if you don’t move through it faster at least it won’t be as miserable.

Learn From Obstacles And Challenges

Resist it and it persists. Fighting it only makes it worse. Stop fighting. If you want to make you dreams come true accept whatever you find on the pathway, learn from it and keep going.

If there is a divine being testing you then that being surely must think you are worth it. You need to decide you are worth it and that within you you have every ability to meet every challenge.

THIS is why learning to control your thinking and thinking predominantly positive IS SO POWERFUL and important! When you take charge of your thoughts you take charge of the results.

When you understand everything has opposites and that IS okay you will have learned a great lesson. When you develop the attitude of a winner, a champion, a victor, and continue undaunted towards what is important to you you will have benefit  greatly!

What You Resist Persists

Evolve yourself into one who is not stopped by limitations but who is able to go on in spite of them. Discover delight in ways you can’t presently imagine. There are more possibilities than you might imagine. Don’t miss out on them because of limited vision.

People who climb everest don’t do it because it is easy. Everything you encounter on your journey IS part of your adventure. Receive it, learn from it, evolve with it, celebrate it and keep moving. If you consider it to all be good it will be. You’ll discover the hidden good.

When you celebrate where you are and what you have you open yourself up for having more of the the same. If you appreciate what you have inside you, and outside in your life you can have more because you create the room for more by your gratitude.

Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes

What you resist persists. If you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got. If you do the same thing over and over again expecting different results you are a little crazy.

So if you want your life to change you must change some things in your life. You can change and control your thinking, your attitudes, beliefs and opinions. You can control your feelings and feel better more of the time. Wouldn’t you want that for yourself?

When you think better and feel better you behave and act better and are more able and apt to make your dreams come true. With the correct attitude you can be, do and have anything you want in life. YOU can make it happen.  Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
