Be Careful What You Ask For: How To Get The Results You Want!

“Are you able to accept what is or do you struggle to be at ease? Are you able to easily live in the present? Many people struggle. Why do you suppose that is? Why do you struggle if you do? Think about a mild issue or problem you have. A MILD issue or problem.

Ask yourself, ‘What’s wrong? …  Why do I have this problem? … How does this problem make me feel? … How does having this problem limit me? … What does having this problem stop me from doing? … Whose fault is it that I have this problem?’

Ok, stop here! Did you actually ask the questions.  If not, go back and take a moment. Ask, notice how you feel. Analyze for a moment. Go beyond the quick answer and entertain it for a moment. Once you have actually thought about it, and reflected on it notice how you feel? HOW do you feel?

Use Your Mind For A Change

Okay stop. Take a deep breath. Take another one or two and shake that off. Get up walk around and come back and keep reading. Now ask these questions using the same mild issue or mild problem.

‘What do I want?  What would I like? If I could have that now how would I feel? How might that be different? If it is easier than I think it is to get it what can I do differently?’ NOW  Imagine that you already have all you want right NOW.

Ask, ‘How does this make me feel? In how many different ways might I easily enjoy feeling wonderful?’

Okay notice how you feel? Okay stop. Take a deep breath. Take another one or two. If you want shake that off. If it feels good keep it if you like. Get up walk around and come back and keep reading. Now ask these questions.

Which set of questions makes you feel better than the other? For most people it is the second set of questions. CAN you determine the difference between both sets of questions? Why do you suppose the second set helps most people feel better than the first?

Questions Direct Your Mind

Questions direct your mind. Where and what you direct your energy and attention to determines what you get back. Questions divide up your experience of the world. What you ask about is what you are paying attention to and determine what you feel.

It would be useful to monitor the kind of questions you routinely ask yourself. If they are less than glorious questions you may well find yourself feeling and thinking less than gloriously. You will want to change what you are doing if you want to have changes in your life.

You can use questions to gain insights and change behaviors. You can use questions to feel better and think better. Questions are a powerful tool. When you ask yourself better questions, ones that direct you in positive ways, your life will actually improve. Notice what you ask yourself in real time and change those.

Make it a point to think up some positive questions that direct your mind to positive aspects of your experience. Ask about the resources you already have and would like to utilize more of and to other resources you may wish to include. Focus your mind on what you want and enjoy!

Direct Your Mind Somewhere Useful

Direct your mind to what you can be, think, feel and do that is positive, easy, smooth, delightful and sooner rather than later. Entertain these questions for a while. Reflect on each. Stick with it. Discover the answers. Realize the quality of question you ask determines the quality of your life.

If you ask, ‘why is it difficult?’ What are you focused on? Difficulty! If you ask, ‘why is it easy?’ you are focused on ease. Keep this in mind as you ask questions. If you ask, ‘how long will it take?’ you may get the same answer as ‘how soon?’ but the feelings produced will be different. This is important. YOUR feelings are important!

Some people ask, ‘why me?’ or ‘how come nothing ever works out for me?’ Think on this for a moment. How does that direct your mind? How useful is it to ask that? It would be much more useful to ask, ‘how quickly can I discover that things always work out well for me?’ You want the result of your questioning to be good feelings!

You may not think ‘things always work out well for me’  is true yet. You may quickly answer, ‘well things have been tough.’ Consider this: they may be tough precisely because of what you are asking. You may not yet experience the power of ‘how quickly can I discover that things always work out well for me?” because you haven’t been asking that. Start asking it and discover the power.

You Always Already Are Directing Your Mind

Once you do and you start directing your mind to look for how things work out well you will start finding the many different ways. You see you are always directing your mind. Always! You either focus on the positive or the negative. The good or the bad. The increase or the decrease. What you have or what you don’t.

You either focus on abundance or lack. Power or weakness. I ask you, which do you want to focus on? What do you want? What would you like more of? Whatever you focus on is what you get? If you are asking yourself questions that direct you into feeling crappy you will feel more crappy. Be smart enough to stop that.

You are constantly creating your reality by how and where you put your attention. You want a better reality, you want better results you have to ask better questions. You have to affirm a different reality. Direct your mind where you want it to go!

Are You Directing Your Mind Where You Want It To Go

You already are sending it somewhere. Make sure where you send you mind is where you want it to go. Make certain it is what you are seeking to attain. Imagine yourself already having accomplished you goal, see it in your mind’s eye. Be it! Hold it in your mind and you will do it and have it.

Ask better, smarter, wiser questions of yourself. ‘In how many different ways can I discover that everything ultimately works out wonderfully for me?’ ‘How come I am so lucky?’ ‘How soon will I begin to notice even more fully how wonderful I am?’ Or how smart, or fortunate, or blessed, of beautiful, or confident. Anything.

Be sure that what you ask about is what you want to be! Make certain that anything that precedes of follows the ‘… I AM…’ is positive. ‘…how resourceful I am… how confident I am’ or ‘How in how many delightful ways can I discover I am truly blessed… or absolutely fortunate… or resourceful… or beautiful… or relaxed.’

Take Charge Of The Questions You Ask Yourself

Focus on the finest. Focus on the best. Focus on what you want. Focus on the positive. Focus on the wonderful. Focus on increase. The more you do the more you become it, do it and have it. Be The Master Of Your Thoughts Not Their Slave

“It amazes me that there are people who do not understand or get, or appreciate the concept that everything beings from within. It starts on the inside and then is made on the outside. The results we get in the real world start first inside us as an idea or representation.

It is simple. Chairs didn’t come from the outside. They begin as a thought, an idea, a concept, a possibility inside someone’s mind. When ready the individual or individuals made a chair. This is true with any creation humans make. From within to without is the process.

This is why it is so critical to learn to control your thinking process. This is why maintaining a positive mind set is critical to your success. You success stems from the mind set you hold FIRST!!! Your happiness, your enjoyment, your life exists within you and how you think about it.

The results you get, whether you like them or not, ARE the reflection of what goes on inside you already. If you don’t like them you must change what you are doing on the inside because whatever you are doing is getting you what you don’t want.

Successful happy people already know this. They know how to think and bring about wonderful lifestyles, careers, riches and happiness. Others do not. They are using their mind to remain poor or broke, unhappy and conflicted.

What you think about you become. What you focus on expands. What you hold in your head you will one day hold in your hand. What you think about you bring about. How many times do we have to hear it until we realize it?  As many as necessary until we do!

I studied these principles since a child and it took years before I realized what it was about. It is so simple we miss it. We don’t believe it. We ignore it. It is not necessarily easy because we are conditioned to think and behave and do otherwise.

We have to take control of that habitual chronic thinking and train our minds to do what we want. Otherwise our minds do what they learned to do. If you don’t like what you are getting then you must change their training program or you will keep getting the same.

Why do I repeat myself frequently in these blog pages. FOR THIS VERY REASON!!! We need to hear it or see it or repeat it enough until we realize we need to do something different to get what we want. ONLY you can control your thinking in this way.

Others have influenced you and you may be thinking their programs as we all grew up doing. Time to begin to think for oneself. Time to make the world what you want it to be. Time to make yourself into the person you already truly are but keep missing.

Your conditioning, my conditioning keeps us blinded. Time to make it otherwise. Time to program yourself for happiness and success. Time to make it happen. When isn’t NOW a good time to begin? Do it today. Decide to become the master of your thoughts!” Rex Sikes

Do This If You Think Nothing Will Help You!

“Some people give up. They lose hope. They try many things but don’t seem to get results. They race around but produce little of what they want? I have done this. Have you? Some erroneously conclude that they are beyond help or that nothing works.

That is sad when people give up or lose faith in themselves. That is where the faith needs to be. It needs to be on the inside of us and not on outer things. We need to know that if we dedicate ourselves we can find away no matter how difficult it may seem.

It is always darkest before the dawn. Those who triumph often do over incalculable odds. Great victory seems to come only after great hardship. Those who expect it easy may be in for a surprise. Those who expect to win come closer than those who think they’ll lose.

Defeat Is Only Temporary Unless You Quit

Things worth having may be worth fighting for. Some people want it quick and easy. They believe the media advertising claims. ‘Works like magic. No effort necessary. It does the work for you!’ Because they put their faith in specious claims they end up disappointed.

Have you? I have. Has the Law Of Attraction worked for you? What about Positive Thinking? Has positive thinking worked for you? There is a lot of misunderstanding about what these two approaches are that need some clearing up. Let’s discuss briefly and simply.

The Law Of Attraction (LOA)  is based on the principle that like attracts like and that makes perfect sense. It is true that birds of a feather flock together. It’s premise is whatever you put out you get more back of the same.

Inside All Hardship Are Lessons And Opportunity 

This notion is central to planting seeds. When you plant A seed you get more of the same crop back multiplied. It makes perfect sense. One plants, waits and harvests. During the waiting period the seed is nourished. It must be nourished or it would die.

LOA is based on attraction. You attract everything whether good or bad. The universe, god, your subconscious, whatever description works for you, doesn’t care whether it is good for you or not. There is no judgement. You get what you focus on.

Another way to think about this is that the universe, god or your subconscious mind always, ONLY, says yes to you. If you think, ‘I am wealthy’ it says, ‘Yes!’ If you say, ‘I am broke’ it says ‘Yes!’ It agrees with whatever you state about yourself and your circumstances.

If your life sucks it is because you are somehow creating or attracting it with your thoughts. You are responsible for your results. Ask yourself what you are focused on? You’ll get more of the same. Many people don’t want to be held accountable, however.

If You Do Nothing You Get Nothing

The central tenant of Positive Thinking is that positive, optimistic thoughts are more productive or useful and beneficial than negative thoughts. If you want to win the race you need to think the thoughts of a winner. You can’t believe you will lose and win easily.

One must think the thoughts that bring about the most good. You don’t become rich thinking how poor you are. You don’t become healthy thinking how sick you are. At its core it says if you want health and wealth you should think health and wealth thoughts.

Combined with the LOA means the more positive thoughts you think the more positive thoughts you are likely to attract. The more negative thoughts you think the more negative you attract. So you are responsible for the results you get based on what you focus on.

It Is Better To Try And Fail Than To Never Try

Neither discipline has anything to do with pie in the sky, wishful or hopeful thinking. Unfortunately, sometimes they are presented that way. Both are reasonable disciplines with philosophy, science, brain science and more backing them up. These principles are ancient!

Some people say they have tried these and they gave up because they don’t work. Countless, others claim great benefit. Seems people get what they believe they will. Our expectations play a part in what we ultimately discover. This is very true!

Whether these work or don’t says nothing about the LOA or PT but speak volumes about the person. We shouldn’t evaluate a practice by someone else’s success of failure to use it well. When someone says they tried the questions are how well?

If You Want Life To Change You Will Have To Change Some Things

How hard?  How long? What does it mean you tried? Some people think if they read a book they tried it. Others actually do put it to use. We can verify whether something works or not based on others experience we can only verify it based on our own.

Most people I talk to, who have had difficulty, do not try very hard nor very long. OR should I say long enough. The may dabble intensely but still it is just dabbling. The pioneer people who made it from east to the west in the US endured great hardship.

Those who persisted until they arrived at the west coast succeeded. Those who settled along the way, settled. You win the race crossing the finish line. No one said that the LOA or PT was easy only that it was easier. This is an important point to keep in mind.

When The Going Gets Tough The Tough Get Going

Dedication and commitment, investment and persistence are meaningful qualities in making your dreams come true. If you dabble you might possibly succeed. If you are committed you might possibly fail to reach your goal by your deadline.

If you never give up you are more likely to hit the target eventually. You don’t stop attempting but you DO adjust how you are going about it. Being flexible and changing your plans or routes along the way is part of being a smart traveler. You adjust as necessary.

The bottom line is you aim high. You think the best. You know what you want and pursue what you want; you think about what you want. That aims you at your target. It makes hitting the target more likely. When playing darts you aim at the bullseye you want to hit.

You Get What You Focus On – You Become What You Think About

You don’t aim at what you don’t want to hit. You don’t think, ‘I don’t want to miss the target completely. I don’t want to hit these other rings or numbers.’ You don’t, do you? You think about what you want to hit. You focus in on it. You zero in on it. You exclude the rest.

When you think positive and optimistically you open your neurology up to possibilities and opportunity. You are more apt to see advantages and even learn from mistakes. You tend to attract like minded people. Your world gets a little bit better.

As you continue you make thinking positive a habit. As a result, because you are thinking positive and optimistically you become that which you think about. Life improves. The more you get the more you can get. Things get better and better.

You Are Today Where Your Thoughts Brought You

You progress. If challenges come your way you are better equipped to handle them. Because you make this way of thinking and feeling and being a lifestyle and a habit you are less likely to throw in the towel when going gets rough. Instead you persist. You evolve.

Ultimately, you reach you goal. You arrive at your destination. It may not have been always easy but it was easier. This is why you want to consider using the LOA and PT. Frankly, both already are in operation in your life. You can’t not use the them.

You can focus on the wrong things, however. Most of us do anyway. That is how we were brought up. SO we train our minds now to thing better by thinking more positively. We apply the principles and practice the approaches daily. It is a discipline. It requires rigor.

You Will Be Tomorrow Where Your Thoughts Take You

We can’t escape the effects of the LOA we can only use it to our advantage or not. If you don’t like the results you are getting what are you paying attention to? It’s a good guess you aren’t paying attention to all the positive, wonderful thoughts you could be.

It is more likely you are thinking about the circumstances and the problems, even trying to find a solution, but the issue looms larger in your mind. If your thoughts about bills and lack are more frequent than your thoughts about plenty and abundance that is an issue.

You get what you focus on. You become what you think about most during the day. Like attracts like, birds of a feather flock together. What you think about you bring about. If you hold it in your head you will someday hold it in your hand. Lack doesn’t result in wealth.

You Cannot Escape The Results Of Your Thoughts

The saying, ‘If it is to be it is up to me’ applies. There are practices that make LOA and PT more powerful and easier to apply. It isn’t that these are hard we just do things more wisely. This blog is designed to help you make your dreams come true.

PT is a discipline. Applying the principles within the LOA is a disciple. It isn’t magic. You don’t sit crosslegged hoping for things to land in your lap. Maybe they will, I’d stay open for it to happen that way, without betting on it. Instead I’d bet on myself to make it happen.

Design your life the way you want it to be and live it! Make it happen. Don’t give up until you arrive. If you are already there on the inside it makes getting there on the outside more quickly. As within so without. As above so below. Live your dreams now!

Whether You Think You Can Or You Can’t You Are Right

LOA and PT are marvelous tools. Marvelous organizing principles. Wonderful and powerful approaches. They may be the laws which govern the universe, but if not, they are pretty darn close. Don’t fight what is, have the present and future you always wanted.

Don’t give up. Learn to apply these. Don’t lose faith grow the faith. Put your faith on you. Bet on yourself to win. Be a winner. Become a champion. Focus on what you CAN DO and do it. Take positive steps each day toward what you want and you will make it happen.” Rex Sikes

Happiness Is Fleeting While Suffering Lasts: How To Change This!

“Have you ever notice time flies when you are having fun? It passes quickly. Consider this. Happiness seems fleeting. This is because we enjoy it. We want it and like it. It comes and it goes quickly.

Einstein allegedly said, and I paraphrase, ‘time is relative. An hour with a wonderful woman seems like a minute. Sitting on a hot stove for a minute seems like an hour.’ Isn’t that the truth?

When we have feelings we don’t want they seem to persist. On and on and on they seem to go. They last and last almost forever. Why do you imagine that is?

It is because we resist them. We don’t like them so we fight them. As a result they last forever. You have heard it said, ‘what we resist persists.’ We attempt to block them. We fight the energy and dam it up.

Whatever You Resist Persists

This only makes the pressure build. On and on they go and we continue to not like it. We continue to fight them. Like a grudge war it  can go on forever.  We perpetuate what we don’t want.

Happy feelings are fleeting because we don’t resist them. We don’t prolong them by fighting them. They come and they go. All feelings do.  All would probably come and go pretty much at the same rate.

If we let them. If we didn’t care about negative or bad feelings they would arise and then subside as positive or happy feelings do. Perhaps, not as quickly but sooner rather than later.

It is the fight that the lasting energy is produced. The conflict keeps them around and provides them more energy. They push we push back. Then they push back and we push back. It continues on.

Like Water – Seek The Path Of Least Resistance

So is there anything we can do about bad feelings? It turns out there is. However, you probably aren’t going to like it that much.

Accept them. Allow them. They will come and they will go. They will pass. YES, it seems difficult. You have spent a lifetime fighting them. You grew up fighting them. Allow them and they will pass.

Very few people have been raised in awareness. I wasn’t. You probably weren’t. So when it comes to accepting what we don’t like as the solution most of us aren’t very quick to jump on that wagon.

Instead, it seems we have to come to this conclusion  through our suffering. We grew up one way, most of us, doing what our parents told us to or did. We modeled them. We followed their examples.

Past Results Are Not An Indication Of Future Results

As a result you and I have the habit of resisting. We feel the emotions in our body because we don’t like them. We have labeled them as bad, wrong and unwanted. We try to eliminate them.

We fight and resist and prolong them. We have to stop fighting if we want them to go away faster. It seems counter intuitive but it isn’t. The quickest was to get rid of your purse is to drop it. Let it go.

Gravity takes care of the rest once you let go. Yes, it is an analogy but it works. You let go of your investment in fighting. You drop it. You don’t have to try to drop a glass of water you just let it go.

Of course, meditators and others spend time learning to let go. They practice awareness. They practice observing without getting involved. The look within without judgement. This is great practice!

Change The Channel And Divert Your Attention

You change the channel. If you ever watched a movie at night that disturbed you this is the best way to not keep thinking of it. Change the channel! It works because it diverts your attention.

Turning off the TV never worked, did it? When you shut it off you are left alone to think about what you just watched. It gets worse because you try to fight the thoughts and make them go away.

So what do you do to stop thinking about it? Change channel. Watch something you enjoy. Once you get caught up in what you enjoy you are free of the bothersome thoughts and images. It works!

It really works and yes it too is an analogy. You learn to put your attention in a more delightful place. There is a thread woven through these blogs I hope you notice. You direct your attention.

Energy Flows Where Your Attention Goes

Typically, when you feel bad it is a signal you are thinking about what you don’t want. You’re focused on less than glorious concerns. You’re  occupied with comparing and suffering as a result.

It is a signal to turn your attention to what you do want instead. It is an opportunity signal to switch the channel. To let go or drop the negative and focus on what you want and what you can create.

One of the benefits of meditation is the ability to watch our thoughts and feelings. You simply observe and feel without labeling or judgement. It is Choice-less Awareness.

One does not choose what is going on. One observes.The meditator watches thoughts as if they were leaves on a stream being carried by the water

Learn The Art Of Choiceless Awareness

Meditation may be a practice you want to include. When you discover you have spent time feeling bad or thinking negatively you do not beat yourself up. Instead view yourself as a meditator would.

Don’t judge. Observe. Let go of criticism. Simply notice. You will move through the less than glorious feeling faster if you do not fight yourself or criticize yourself. Encourage yourself to learn from it.

Meditation has wonderful benefits.. There are many forms. Perhaps, you might find one you can practice.

A key for self improvement is awareness. We become aware of what needs to change. We don’t judge it as bad or ourselves as bad we just go ahead and make the change.

You Become What You Think About

Day gives way to night. Night gives way to day. It is cyclic. Feelings come and go. Whatever we lock onto remains. Whatever we fight, however we fight it, sticks around to fight back.

You get what you focus on. Resistance is why your negative feelings last. Good feelings you welcome so they come and you enjoy them. They give way to something else. You don’t fight them.

The move swiftly. Negative feelings would most likely pass soon as well.  Once good feelings are gone you may fight their absence. You may struggle and strain to recapture them.

If you notice the lack and you long for the good feelings you are caught up in comparing. You are resisting their absence thus prolonging their absence.

Focus On What You Have Not On What You Lack

Whatever we focus on is what we get. This is the huge lesson that takes some of us a while to fully get. It doesn’t matter whether it is good or bad whatever we focus on we get back more of.

You feel less than glorious by longing for good feelings. Let it go. Realize you have behaved habitually. These are habits and you can break habits. It may take some time and dedication but you can do it.

New habits and new neural pathways can be created any time you choose to. Don’t fight anything. If you catch yourself fighting don’t fight that. Stop, recognize what you’re doing. Take a deep breath.

And stop! It won’t help if you criticize and condemn yourself. Let it go. Accept that is what you did and appreciate that you are in the process of learning a new way of being. Be gentle on yourself.

You Are Building New Neural Pathways And New Habits

Resolve to have fun and to delight. Take it lightly! Enjoy the process. You may fall many times but get back up.  It is okay to fall. But get right back up. Don’t wallow by staying down. Get up. Go on!

When you notice a less than glorious feeling realize it is a signal to place your attention and energy elsewhere. Focus on something that helps you feel a little bit better. That is all you need to do.

Feel a little better bit by bit. Step by step. When you feel bad do whatever is necessary to feel a little bit better. You are training yourself to leave the bad feeling for a better feeling.

This is how you begin to make a new habit.You are learning to search for better feelings. You look elsewhere to what feels better. You develop your ability to look for and find other ways to be.

You Are In Charge So Be In Control 

Instead being a victim of your thoughts and feelings you take charge. Little by little, through repeated effort over time, you will make leaving the bad feelings behind for better feelings a habit.

You will retrain your brain and your behaviors. This is all completely within your control. Inch your way along positively reinforcing all that you do. If you fall, so what, dust yourself up and go again.

Soon you will have better and better feelings and you will experience more happiness and joy. Focus on what you want not on what you don’t have or don’t want. You are building new habits.

Put your energy into what transforms you in positive and powerful ways. Withdraw it from anything that does not. You will feel better more frequently as a result. Be gentle and be kind to yourself.

Gratitude Is The Attitude That Changes Everything For The Better

Congratulate yourself when you make advances. Pat yourself on the back for attempting it no matter the result. Keep at it until you get more of the results you want. If you persist you will win.

What you resist will remain. What you celebrate may come and go but you will celebrate more often moment to moment. Enjoy the moment. That is the only thing you really have to transform.

A great place to put your attention is on those areas of your life you celebrate and are thankful for. Anything and everything you appreciate; people, events, things, activities, hobbies, places.

Be grateful for your ability to make changes more easily. So what if it is difficult at first, just as everything else, you get better at in in time with repeated correct practice. Appreciate yourself and your abilities.

Life is good. Enjoy it and you will enjoy it even more!  Put your energy and attention on the delights and tiny moments at each opportunity and you will discover yourself blessed with countless more. You get what you focus on!” Rex Sikes

How To Stop Believing Lies And Acting Like A Walking Billboard!

“Did you know that the philosophy and principles that were popularized in ‘The Secret’, movie and book, were actually suppressed through the centuries? It is true.

To this day there are groups who do not want you to know, understand and apply this very powerful, life transforming information. It works and they want to keep it for themselves.

Most of the time there is no one trying to harm us. They just to keep us off track or off balance. If we can’t apply the principles correctly we won’t know the power available to us. We won’t get ahead.

We will miss out and become a worker bee instead. You and I received many messages growing up. Many were meant to be helpful and well intended.

They were delivered  by well meaning adults and peers but ended up limiting us instead of helping us. Plus, there were those designed and delivered to keep us limited intentionally. Sadly, true.

The well meaning adults parroted many of these not knowing any better. It is how they were raised too. Among all the messages we received some positive, wonderful messages still made it through.

Stop Believing The Lies

Sadly, they weren’t emphasized enough to give them high signal value; the kind of signal value that would make a difference. So we missed their power. We heard them and missed them just the same.

You have heard it before but perhaps never thought about it this way before. The ancient texts and New Thought leaders have been saying it for eons. Be it first and then you will have it.

Happy people attract or make themselves happy. Wealthy people make and attract more wealth. Success breeds success. Be it, then do what you need to get what you want to have. Be, do, have!

The powers that be want us to struggle to get things thinking THOSE will somehow make us better. They won’t. They steered our focus around backwards. AND so we focused on the wrong things.

If you work hard to get what you want some day you might become wealthy, successful and happy. Do, have, be. In spite of this some of the powerful messages made it through. We just didn’t know it.

Love yourself if you want a loving relationship.

Be sexy and others will think you are. It is all attitude.

Be happy and good things come to you.

Feel successful and you will attract success.

Be confident and you can learn to do anything.

Start Believing In Yourself

Advertisers and others have done everything they can to create a need in you so they can sell their goods. They are willing to scare you, intimidate you and make you feel bad.

They want to make you feel as if you are lacking what is needed. They want to make you feel as if you are not enough as you are because when you do they can profit. AND they profit large!!!

They will make you fear your dandruff, body odor, clothing style, skin, wrinkles, age, weight, height, you name it. Their job has been to make you feel inadequate, ashamed and not enough.

They want you to feel absolutely incomplete without their product or service. The make you afraid to be you in so many ways. They make you ashamed that you are human. You need their products.

In ancient days they made the public feel inferior by telling them they weren’t smart enough to read the religious texts and understand it. Only gatekeepers could know and speak the truth.

In fact those power people spoke lies. They suppressed information. They hid it and told people ‘work hard’ and strive and struggle and you may be able to accumulate things and die happy.

They sold everyone a bill of goods that was incorrect. They sold lies so they could remain in unchallenged power and keep all the assets. They sold a bad bill of goods and we didn’t know not to believe them.

What You Focus On You Get

It still goes on today. The myriad of messages is that you are not enough. ‘Work hard’ and you may be able to break free. ‘Get a job’ and work for someone smarter and richer than you.

‘Be a good worker’ bee and spend all your money on hygiene and cosmetic products so you can fit in. Make sure you wear the right clothes, drive the right car, have the right home. It is all crap!

We are even silly enough to wear their designer labels thinking it is cool thereby making us walking billboards. We even PAY for the privilege! We advertise their brands thinking it IS cool to wear these.

Tennis shoes cost hundreds of dollars. Kids fight and kill over a pair of high priced high tops. Why, because you aren’t cool without cool shoes. This is complete madness.

You want the truth but as Jack Nicholson stated in the movie A Few Good Men, ‘YOU can’t handle the truth!’ That is accurate we can’t, you can’t. The truth is SO simple we miss it.

We have been conditioned to miss it. We believe the lies even when they are proved wrong. We live out of chronic bad habits and limiting beliefs.  It is time to wake up to the truth about you!

You Are A Powerful Creator

You are more than enough.! You don’t believe it but you are MORE than enough!  You have never been told that in a way that causes you to believe it, accept it and know what to do about it.

Culture and messages state otherwise. Leaders proclaim us too unwise to know what we want. We are taught we are stupid. We need leaders who know better and who decide for us.

So how could you feel great about yourself?

The secret is you are enough!  You always have been! You don’t need clothes and cosmetics to make you sexy and attractive that comes from attitude. It comes from inside not outside.

Successful people attract riches because they feel successful and they know they can do it. It doesn’t  occur to them to think otherwise. You can too if you do it the way they do.

Even though the powers that be tried to remove all remnants of your personal power some of it survived in the kind of statements I wrote above. If you want love love yourself first.

Yet people yearn for someone to come along and fulfill them because they do not first love themselves. They put it on the outside. The put the emphasis and power on a source outside themselves.

Break Free And Stay Free

See how insidious the lies are and how persistent they are. We have been lied to and trained not to believe in ourselves. We’ve been prevented from exercising our true, positive, creative power.

They did that to us so that they, a few, could maintain it all. They diverted us. Instead of looking inside to our inner strength and resources they got us focused on the outside adornments.

They got us thinking help comes from outside us. They got us thinking they are smarter, and better, and more powerful people than you and I. They distracted us from our true selves.

It’s time for a change! The secret to manifesting or creating what you want is to feel it first and then you get it. Feel happy and you will be happy. Feel successful and you will be. Feel it first! Be it First!

Feel powerful and you will be. Be positive and you will. Assume you are a powerful creator and you will make things happen. Feel like an emperor and you will live like one. Feel the victor and you will be!

Stop living as a victim. Stop accepting the backward messages designed to limit and keep you captive on a system designed to keep you down and out. Exercise your power and break free.

You Are In Charge

Stop serving them and serve yourself and others. Make you life what you want it to be. Get your head on straight. It is your thoughts and your feelings that run the show. You’re in charge. You can control it!

They don’t want you to know that you can run the show. They don’t want you to know that what you decide and where you focus is your strength. They want you helpless and hopeless and dependent.

Sucks doesn’t it. All along you contain within you a source of great power. YOU ARE THE SECRET and you don’t know it. What you think determines who you are, what you do and what you have!

Your thoughts give rise to what you want! They are the source of inspiration and innovation. Your feelings are the fuel that get you to your destination. You are the one who makes things happen.

ALL along you have either brought good things or bad things too you because they didn’t tell you YOU create your reality by your thoughts and then your actions. What you think you become!

What you focus on you get. You didn’t know. They hid it. They got you focused on bad news and not having enough. SO you created more of the same without realizing it. It is YOU, all along, doing it.

A Champion’s Actions Arise From Within

If you feel like you aren’t good enough you likely aren’t going to do much to succeed. If you feel like a victim you won’t claim your true power. They knew that and this is what they wanted for you.

If you feel a common laborer and broke you won’t live as a powerful rich person because you will always be concerned with making ends meet. You and I were duped. Most everyone has been.

See how they have distracted us! All of the emphasis and focus is on lack and not having enough. They make us think if we work hard for someone else we might get ahead. We won’t. You won’t but rarely.

There is nothing wrong with hard work but the correct hard work comes after the right mindset not before it. You need to have the mindset, the attitude in place and they managed to weaken that.

If you want to be, do and have anything in life first you must become it in your head and your feelings. Then you will then be able to hold it in your hand. You will create the results you want.

It is time to become free and not be a slave to limiting mindsets. Why spend all your money trying to be better and be enough when you are ALREADY enough within? You just have to tap into it.

You Just Have To Tap Into It

As I already mentioned it actually is very simple. You have been conditioned wrongly and powerfully for most, if not all of your life. Now you must learn a new way. You can!

You definitely can and you can succeed! You will replace your old conditioning that has held you captive with new conditioning that allows you to live free.

You will replace limiting habits with new positive powerful ones. You can make you and your life the one you always wanted. You can discover your inner resourcefulness.

You can make your dreams come true. You have waited long enough. Stop waiting. Wait no more. Decide now to no longer be a victim of a poisonous negative mindset.

Become the victor. Realize you already are powerful positive creator. Take 100% responsibility for everything good and bad in your life and you will get free. You won’t blame anyone.

Once you stop blaming and looking outside yourself for excuses or saviors you will discover how to make the changes necessary to have the life you want. You are powerful. You’ll create good things.

It Is Simple – Do It

You have always had the power but you used it incorrectly as you were conditioned to. Stop that! Start using it as you have always been intended to. Start using your powers for good.

Wow, I always wanted to be able to say a superhero line like that. BUT it is accurate. Use your power to be and do and have what you want. Stop getting less than glorious results.

Begin getting glorious ones. All you need you already have. Stop living from lack and desperation and from someone else’s conditioning. Those cause the results you have been getting.

Change your thoughts and your feelings and you will change your life. You can change your life forever! You can become the powerful positive creator you have always been intended to be.

Had you not been duped you would have created a wonderfully positive life. Don’t complain about the past, from now on live as a champion. Live powerfully, positive and create good things.

Think positive, happy, successful, confident, joyous thoughts and feelings and that is what you will live and act from.  Claim your power and use it wisely. Make everything better for yourself and others and you will live your dreams! Begin Today! ” Rex Sikes

You Can! The Question Is Will You?

Do you want to make good things happen? Do you want to live the life you always dreamed you could? Would you like to make all your goals and dreams become reality? You can! It is possible! BUT It is never a matter of ‘can you’. It IS ALWAYS possible!

It is a matter of WILL YOU. Will you do what is required to get what you want? The single common denominator of successful people is that they WILL DO what failures WON’T do. That is the critical difference. They do what others won’t. As a result they benefit!

To do what must be done YOU must believe in yourself FIRST. You must have an attitude and mindset that is positive and persistent. You become the kind of person who goes after and successfully accomplishes their dreams. That is the kind of person you are.

Will: Separates The Successful From The Unsuccessful

Then you do what you have to do to make it happen. You take action! You take the positive steps necessary to get what you want to have. The rule successful people already know is this: Be to DO to Have. Be, Do Have!

While you must be willing to take action to make it happen WHO and what you are is more important than what you do. Doing comes second. Having comes last. This is the difference between successful and non-successful people.

Those who struggle and strive attempt it backwards. They think if they struggle enough, work hard enough and DO the right things they will be able to get what the want to have and then become what they hope to become.

They think if they work hard they will get money or things and be happy or successful. It just never works this way. Except, maybe very rare cases. Someone wins the lottery for example. Sadly, most who do are broke again a few years later.

Who you are determines whether you act with integrity and positivity or not. Who you are determines whether you will keep going until you make accomplish it. Who you are determines what you do and what you have and keep as a result.

Quitters Never Win And Winners Never Quit

Attitude determines your altitude. You must believe in yourself and believe that you will do it. You must be a winner in mindset to win. That is how it works. You must have then mind of a champion then you become a champion. It never works the other way around.

You must know that you will prevail. You must know you will accomplish your goals. You need to know it is not only possible but imminent and expect it. Steel will is what separates those who have from those who do not have.

Doing comes after being. Focus on being the kind of person who makes dreams come true. Be the kind of person who is positive, powerful, dedicated, persistent, optimistic, generous, helpful and encouraging.

Who You Are Determines What You Do To Get What You Want

Be a happy, healthy, successful, good, compassionate person and you will go far. Don’t envy the success of others make your own! Celebrate, congratulate and be happy when others succeed. If you can be genuinely happy for them you will succeed faster.

Positivity will get you farther faster than negativity. You can make your dreams come true. It is absolutely possible! Will you? Will you do whatever positive things you need to in order to make it happen. Will you keep going and never give up until you make it?

Who are you and what are you made of? Are you a loser or winner? Are you a victim or victor? YOU DECIDE ! No one else can. Are you a champion, a conqueror, or an emperor? Who are you?  What kind of person are you?

It would be truly unfortunate if you never recognize your true self and your true abilities. Work on who you are. Discover who you are inside and what you can do? Fulfill your destiny. Make your dreams come true. You can. Will you? Will you do it?” Rex Sikes

Creators Do It Differently Than The Herd: How To Be A Creator

“Have you ever been in the presence of a person who just has ‘it’? You know what I mean. A person who walks into a room and their energy draws everyone to them like moths to a flame. Heads turn. People notice and want to move closer. They are something special;

This person is filled with positive, irresistible presence and charisma. It is positive energy. Positive high vibrations. Whatever words you want to use this is how you want to live moment to moment. You want to vibrate high and be filled with positive, powerful energy.

You Are A Light To The World

Think of yourself as a beacon.  Are you shining powerfully bright so all can see or are you a dim bulb? Illuminate yourself and you illuminate the world. Creators, those people who live powerfully live differently from the herd. They live as champions and emperors.

You can too! Do what they have learned to do and you will. They know how important it is to be in charge of their thoughts and feelings. They think the best and feel the best most of the time. The know you become what you focus on so they focus on the positive.

Live with positive energy! Feel the best you can moment to moment. Live feeling the best you can. Think the most positive and wonderful thoughts and you will feel the most positive and wonderful feelings. Thinking and feeling and feeling and thinking go hand in hand.

Make Sure Your Light Is Lit

Live with positive energy. Emphasize it. That is what the creators do. Vibrate high! Keep your self talk and inner imagining on positive things. Speak to bless heal and prosper self and others.  Your power as a creator is to feel what you want before it is.

Thought precedes results. Thoughts precede action. Thoughts precede reality. If you think it in your head you can some day hold it in your hand. Energy moves from inside to the outside. You call it into action with your thoughts, feelings and words.

Keep your thoughts and images positive. Do the same with your self-talk and the words you do speak out loud.  Keep feelings the very best. Creators use their thoughts, words and positive emotional energy to manifests what they want.

Stay Positive In Thoughts And Feelings

This is how you make it happen! Be it before it and you will have it! They fully realize it first in the imagination. They feel what it is like to be it, to do it, to own it before they have any of it. From this then they create it. They take action to bring it into being.

This is how you manifest what you want. Imagine it. Write it down. Speak it as though it is already done. Feel it! Smell it, taste it! Enjoy it as if you already have it before it arrives. It is your story tell it the way you want it to be and it can be that way.

No whining, no excuses, no blames. If you live and think lackluster thoughts your life will be the same. Creators live managing the best they have. They are active in their self awareness and in maintaining their mindset and positive energy.

Go First – Be It – Then Do It To Have It

Successful people have money because they are first successful within. They feel successful. They know they are successful. They expect to have things work out. They expect to make money and attract opportunity.

Money comes to the successful it does not make you successful. Happy people are people who are happy first. It doesn’t matter what they have or what life throws at them. They are happy first. They can enjoy everything because it isn’t things that make people happy.

Yet, countless numbers of people have it backwards. They do, they struggle and work hard to have things so that they can be happy and feel successful. This is directly counter to how it works. You first be, you become it, and then you do, you take action to have things.

Act As If You Already Are What You Want

Pretend what it feels like to be able to do whatever you want whenever you want. Pretend that you can afford anything you desire. Pretend life is good and you feel incredible. Act as if everything is perfect. Enjoy it. Feel it. Answer this question.

If life were perfect and you were who you always wanted to be and doing what you wanted and having everything you wanted how would you feel? If you had everything you always wanted how would you feel? This is the feeling you want to live from most of the time.

Feel wonderful! Feel incredible! Feel delighted! The way you do that is to fill your mind and being with the thoughts that make you feel this way. From this energy you create. From this energy you attract. This is how the creators do it. They live vibrating high!

Feeling Good Is Feeling Good Is Feeling Good

Here is an important tip: The feelings you feel do not have to be directly related to what you want. For example, you want wealth but are not sure how to feel rich. You might imagine and feel freedom. You might feel blessed.

You might appreciate everything you do have without wanting more. You just feel true gratitude. You might feel fun. You might feel joy! You might feel celebration and delight. You might feel fascinated and in awe of nature. You might feel wonder.

Good feelings open the doorway to attract more of the same. When you are feeling wonderful you open yourself up. You might feel peaceful, secure, relaxed, at-ease, confident. Feel good and vibrate high! When you feel good you invite more of the same and better.

You Are Either Positive Or Negative – Choose

Withdraw you energy and attention from less than glorious news, gossip and worries. Focus on the wonderful, the inspiring, the magnificent. Feel yourself as a powerful, positive creator. Feel it now. Not sometime in the future but now. Feel it as already done!

Decide to see what is going right and you will see it! Decided to feel it first and you will have it! Yearning reinforces the absence of what you want and blocks you from getting it. Feeling fulfilled means more can come your way! Being fulfilled means you make it happen.

Feel fulfilled first and you will open the doors to being blessed beyond belief. Stop longing and start feeling what you want already accomplished.  Make your life the way you have always wanted it to be. Create it! Attract it by making your energy irresistible!” Rex Sikes

You Must Feel Your Way To Happiness & Success

Disney If You Can Dream It

“Most people have it completely backwards. Do you?  They put the cart before the horse. Are you? Most people think if they make enough money or acquire enough things they will feel happy and successful. Is this you as well?

If you think getting it and having it will make you happy you will be disappointed as so many are.  It works completely the other way around. Things don’t make us happy. Money doesn’t make us happy. Those who have will tell you. Be happy first! Feel rich first!

Be happy and you will get and have what you want. Be happy first! Be successful first! It isn’t the things that make you happy but being happy makes it possible to get the things you want. The feelings make it possible.

Feel Your Way To Happiness And Success

You feel your way to success! That is the way it works. People think if you do the right things you will feel successful but it is completely the other way around. Feel it first and you will have it. FEEL IT!

This is why I keep emphasizing what the masters have emphasized since ancient times. See it ‘as if’ you already have it. It is done and you have accomplished it. It is right now and you are everything you want to be, do and have. Feel what that feels like! Really feel it!

See and FEEL how incredible it feels to have it right now! Not off in the future sometime. It is not coming to you but it is right now! It is present! NOW is the only time your subconscious mind understands. The present is the only time we actually have.

Feel It Now In The Present Moment

Now, in this present moment you feel successful.  Feel happy; feel healthy; feel wealthy; feel yourself in an awesome loving relationship; feel deeply, lovingly connected to your family; feel surrounded by positive, powerful people.

THIS is how you get what you want! Feel it first and you open the doorway. You create and attract all that is necessary because your mind, your feelings, are aligned with your desires and you behave in the most productive and powerful and positive ways.

Good things come to those who are fulfilled! Those who have will have more because they celebrate abundance! They feel incredible. They are not worried about or focused on lack. You don’t get rich by feeling poor. You don’t get freedom feeling restricted.

Feel Good Most Of The Time

Most people don’t have what they want because they are busy feeling the way they do because of present circumstances. They are reacting to what it. They feel less than glorious. You will not be glorious if you spend most of your time feeling less than glorious.

You must see that future you. You must feel that future you right now INSTEAD of your current situation. Your attention and energy must be on what you want rather than on what you do not want. This is where most people mess up.

If you want your life to change you feel how you want to feel first. If you want your life to change you will have to change some things in your life. Change your feelings and the results will follow.  If you want positive results you begin with positive feelings.

Your Feelings Are The Key

Think Attractor for a moment just as a concept. A magnet attracts that which is like it. It doesn’t attract those elements or things that are not like it. The same principle applies to you and me. Become it in your mind and body first and you shall have it in reality.

A Creator can’t create anything unless the creator first knows what to create. The idea has to be there. The same is true about getting what you want. You must know what it is. BUT you can’t put it off. You must image it as existing now. See it and feel it now!

The story is told about Walt Disney. He had created DisneyLand and had a dream to create DisneyWorld. He fell ill and died prior to its opening. More than one person said to his brother Roy, ‘it’s so sad Walt didn’t see this.’

Roy responded, ‘Are you kidding? It is because Walt SAW this that we have DisneyWorld!’ His vision, his passion, his desire and enthusiasm paved the way for DisneyWorld. He lived his dream and it became reality. You don’t doubt what you already have!

See It – Feel It – Speak It – And It Shall Be

It is so simple! It is not always easy but it is simple. Feel good most of the time and you will get what you want. You get what you focus on. Get in charge of your thoughts and feelings. Your thoughts and feelings make it happen. This is your attitude and mindset!

Take control of your life! This is fully within your power. It may not seem like it because you haven’t exercised it much. This is what you and I and others ARE able to control and to do! Start small, in small way,s and if you persist you will end up with large, positive results!

Being comes before doing or having. Affirm what you want as though it already exists for you. BUT it is not merely the words. IT is the feeling you put into the words that makes it happen. FEEL IT! See it, speak it, feel it, live it and you shall have it!” Rex Sikes

Use This Key To Unlock The Door To Your Dreams & Desires

“What does believing mean? What does it mean to have faith? Why is this important when it comes to making your dreams come true? How does it apply to your career goals, being the person you want to be or having what you want to get in life?

In previous blog posts I’ve pointed out the necessity of maintaining a positive mindset and the importance of ‘Believe It And You Will See it’. This concept is how everything works but it is not the typical way most people think.

Most People Think When I See It Then I Will Believe It

This latter attitude keeps people in the dark because they focus on present circumstances. Their mindset works this way.  Only once they are convinced it can be otherwise, then AND only then, will they believe it can be otherwise. It is the reason things don’t work.

Instead of being focused on what they want and believing they can make it happen they are focused on what they don’t want waiting to be convinced somehow it will be different. So they remain the same. They get what they focus on. They get what they don’t want.

To be, do or have what you want you must focus on what you want to the exclusion of all else. You can not let yourself be distracted from what it is you want to make happen. You are the creator of it so create it. Believe you can do it and you will. Stay properly focused.

You Must Believe It First And Then You Will See It

Listen to stories of those people who reached the top in entertainment, in finance, in sports, whatever endeavor in life and you repeatedly hear stories that they KNEW they were destined to become a top player regardless of the obstacles.

They KNEW IT within them. They never lost faith.  Even when it appeared hopeless the kept going!  They worked in spite of the odds until they made it. This is how we need to believe. We need to EXPECT that it will happen. We need to KNOW we can accomplish it.

You can not wish or hope. You can not be half assed. You must be convinced that you will fulfill your greatest desire and you must passionately pursue it. You must persist in the pursuit until you have what you want. There is not alternative. You just do it!

You Must Ask Believing

Sure, you can hope, you can pray, you can think it is all about luck. That will not get you closer. Jesus said, ‘When you ask BELIEVE you will receive…’ so we can’t do less than that, can we? This is an important key concept. Believe it and you will see it!

We need to stop begging, whining and pleading. We need to command it into being. We need to declare what we want. We need to believe we will make it happen. We need to expect to get it.  Just as you do when you place an order in a restaurant.

Consider this analogy. You go into a restaurant. Hopefully, you are polite and I mean this. Waitstaff comes and says something similar to, ‘May I take your order?. You tell the person what you want they take it back to the cook. You wait after having placed YOUR order.

You Don’t Have To Muster Up Faith To Order Breakfast

You expect it to be delivered how you want it a little while later. You don’t sit there hoping and wishing and whining and complaining or fretting or worried or convinced it will never happen. You expect it to come the way you ordered it and you expect to get what you want.

With regard to the cook preparing it and it being delivered there are those who would liken that to the universe giving you what you want once you order is in. That is fine. I am not going there with this analogy at this time. I am only right now only addressing the ordering process and your faith in yourself.

While the waitstaff is gone you behave normally and concern yourself with reading or conversing or whatever you do. You occupy yourself because you know your food is coming. After all your order is in. After a while, it is served. You got what you ordered. You got what you wanted.

Know What You Want To Order

If you didn’t know what you wanted neither would anyone else. So the first important piece was to know what you want. When it comes to your dreams you need to know what you want and want it more than anything else.

You place your order. You declare what you will make happen.You stay focused on what you want to the exclusion of any evidence that tells you otherwise. You don’t let present circumstances distract you and you do not compare the wait time.

You don’t think, ‘I placed my order how long is this going to take’. Doing that keeps you focused on not having it yet. It keeps your attention on what you do not want. You have to have your focus on what you want. Your mind set needs to be right. You must believe.

Expect It – Know It 

You do not wish or hope.  You KNOW! You state it. You order it. You declare it! You command it! You demand it! You don’t dream it, you don’t pray or beg you ACCEPT it.

You Announce it. In fact, you don’t believe something is going to happen. Don’t put it off on someday in the future. You believe it has already happened! This is how you use your mind to create what you want. You see it as if it all already exists. It begins as an idea!

In your mind’s eye, visualize already having what you want. Imagine it fully as vividly as you are able. Full color, 3D, full sound with total feeling. Live it as though you have everything you want. FEEL IT. BASK in how good it feels. Imagine living in the house you will live in.

Stay Focused

Imagine working in the career you want successfully. Imagine a loving relationship. Imagine all your bills paid and enough money to do whatever you want when you want to. See people congratulating you and discussing your success.

Hear it! Hear people congratulate you. Hear what they say and what you say in return. Feel their handshakes and embraces. Feel how good it feels. Live the life you want to be living. It is the feelings combined with the images that place your order with your subconscious. Feel it fully.

Keep all your self-talk positive. Speak only to bless heal and prosper. Don’t speak about what you don’t want. Affirm what you want. Stay true to your pursuit. Stay focused, stay positive and powerful. Do not give your power away. Keep it an use it.

Once you put your order in with the waitstaff you don’t have to believe it will happen you KNOW it will happen. Treat life the same way. Expect good things. See them. Plan them in your mind’s eye.

Carry out the future in the present. Do not make it a when make it NOW! Make the future your current reality on the inside. What you focus on you get.  What you think you become.  Keep the faith!

Now Is The Only Time There Is

Live with an attitude of gratitude. Celebrate everything right now! Be focused on abundance not lack. Know you are making your dreams come true. The seeds are planted. The order is taken. Live as though you know it is yours. It is yours!

Own it! Declare it! Stop being a beggar. Stop fretting, hoping and worrying. Live as an emperor. YOU will make your dreams come true. Mind set is the very first and most important step to take.

Set aside time each day to imagine your life as you want it to be. Feel the very best you can as much as you can each day. Make feeling good and thinking positive a daily habit and your will be amazed at all the good things you starting creating and attracting.

Live positively! Live with passion. Live with enthusiasm! Feel the best you can moment to moment because it makes it all happen faster when you do. Be happy and enjoy all there is. Just like the others who knew they would succeed no matter what you can too! Do it!” Rex Sikes

What Do I Do If I Think A Negative Thought?

“People have asked me, ‘What about negative thoughts? What should I do if I think a negative thought?

This is a normal question for people in the process of learning to deliberately take charge their mind.  

After all, it is bound to happen. We are human. There is nothing to fear and there is somethings you can do.

Whenever you have a negative thought or feeling counter it immediately with a positive thought.  

Don’t accept the negative. Make a positive statement.  Make a positive picture. Turn your back on it!

Turn your back on the negative and turn toward the positive. Do not entertain or get caught up supporting or encouraging that which brings you down.

Turn from it. Put your focus, your emphasis, your concentration on the positive. Deliberately switch!

The trick to being happier and healthier overall in life is learning to pay attention to what is worthwhile.  

Let go or give up that which does not add or contribute to you positively.

Learn to transform those moments. It will make your life more incredible moment to moment.

Eventually you will make it a habit and you will automatically look to the positive. 

You will learn a few important things by doing this: You will become aware of when you are not thinking positively.

You will develop the power to switch it.

You will make it an automatic reliable habit. You will gain control of your thinking process.

You will begin to make what you want happen in your life.

Become aware of the signal! That is really all the negative thought or feeling actually is.

It is a signal that you are thinking about what you don’t want or don’t have.

It is a signal that you are focused on a less than productive pathway. The signal provides you the opportunity to change it.

Appreciate the signal. It may be negative but be glad it got your attention.

You want to become aware of the instant your thinking turns less than positive.

The signal occurs so you can prevent yourself from getting caught up in negative feelings or spiraling down and out in negative thinking.

The earlier you become aware of the signal the faster and easier it is to change what you are doing.  

Take it as a message to turn your attention to the positive. Change your thinking and you change your life.

Transform the moment from less than glorious into something a little better or a lot better. Build your ability to notice more of the good things.

Notice the fine things, the best things, the best thoughts, feelings and pictures,  the best behvaiors and the moments.

When you fill up your life with things you enjoy and appreciate you feel better over all and life is much more wonderful.  

Too many are distracted by less than glorious past memories or present circumstances.

They spend time wallowing in less than glorious minutes and wonder why they don’t feel better. Energy flows where your attention goes.

If you are negative or feel negative and you put your attention on it you increase it and encourage it. You get more of what you do not want.

If you put your attention on what you want your attention to it supports and ecourages the good feelings and you get more of this.

You get more of what you DO want!

Happiness is a choice each moment. Whenever you notice yourself thinking or feeling less than gloriously stop. Just completely stop.

Take  deep breath. Think ‘cancel’ the negative thought and think, pitcure and make a positive statement immediately.

Steer yourself right back into the positive thoughts and feelings. Do it deliberately.

Do it immediately when you become aware of the negative thought.

Whenever you make a negative statement. Whenever you hear one come out of your mouth Stop!

Do the same thing. Turn it into a positive one!

Do what you want to have more of and less of what you don’t want. It is simple enough.

Either you are postive or negative. Choose the positive and life will be better.

Don’t whine, complain, blame or act like a victim and say that you can’t do this or that it is too difficult.

That itself is a negative thought you must immediately change!

Change your thoughts and change your life. You can do this! Decide that you can and that you will.

When you will you will have won. The victory comes to those who attempt to win.

Defeat is assured for those who refuse to play the game. You are already in the game so decide how you will play it.

Decide to make your life better and you will.

If you want something the first place you get it is in your mind. Where you spend most of your time is what your life reflects.

You become what you think about. Make your mind your servant instead of being its servant and you will be so happy you did.” Rex Sikes
