Two Suggestions To Skyrocket Your Success!

“Today, I want to share with you some great advice and useful suggestions to help you learn to grow and develop faster in your career and in life.  Fill your mind every day with the best thoughts.  Immerse yourself in a positive world.  You will more easily and readily make the changes you want to make when your thoughts and feelings are inspired.

Here is how you can do it. Read!  You should be reading everyday. Pick the best, the most inspiring, motivational books and articles you can. Every single day you should read at least a page so that you consistently fill your mind with powerful positive thoughts and ideas. Of course, you can read more but no less than a page a day! Start reading!

Listen to positive audios at home or while driving to continue this process. Listening is another great way to stimulate your mind. You can find lots of positive talks and clips to listen or watch online too. These are practical and powerful ways to utilize books and audio programs to achieve your goals. All around you are are wonderful transformational support materials to help you move forward.

Read and re-read the materials again and again. Keep exposing and re-exposing your mind to these positive sources and messages. Listen again and again to. Understanding, positive change and habits are formed by repeating successful behaviors successfully. Correct repetition builds the skill. You deepen your understanding of the concepts and materials.

Persist, keep at it and you will be amazed at the difference it makes in your life. Nourish yourself.  It is healthy daily food for your positive mental health. A little bit of the right stuff each day goes a long, long way.

When you read or listen to audio programs take notes. Write these out by hand. Do not use the computer. Actually write them out. When you write you use and develop new neural pathways important for your positive development. You don’t and can’t do this when you type. So take notes on paper not on the computer.

The tiny finger movements you use when writing positively stimulate the neo-cortex and stimulate the brain to make new neural connections which help us evolve. It is a good practice is to re-read your notes from time to time.

It is a great practice is to re-write your notes every so often. You will gain new insights and deepen your understanding. Then as your understanding deepens again re-write your notes. Find new ways to express the ideas.You will again have new insights.

This really helps accelerate your growth because you make it your own. When you really know it and understand it you live more fully from it. You will find these practices increase your ability to visualize and helps you keep your self talk positive. This is because you are revisiting it again and again in your mind and continually clarifying it.

This helps you stay focused on what you want to be, do or have. You remain more inspired and motivated. You can see opportunities you previously missed. You more readily apply what you learn to accomplishing your dreams and goals.

Keep preparing and maintaining the soil of your mind. Make it fertile, plant seeds and nurture the growth day by day. Remember, we become what we think about most of the time. We get what we focus on. So make it a habit to read daily, listen to positive audios and take notes.

“Would you like to be able to make some positive behavioral changes and keep them? Are there some behaviors you would like to be able to cut down or stop completely? Could you use more self-control? If you answered yes to these question there is a simple thing you can do.  First, keep in mind that we think is important. Everything first begins with our thoughts. We speak those thoughts to ourselves, out loud and to others. What we think and say is important. We become what we think about.

Take responsibility for the behavior you want to stop or start. Don’t blame or criticize yourself for doing it. Realize if you are going to stop it YOU are going to stop it. If it is going to happen it will be up to you! It is not up to anyone else. You must stop being a victim of the behavior and realize you are the person who performs the behaviors. You decide whether or not you will do something. You are in charge. Stop thinking and saying ‘you can’t’ help it, or that you can’t stop it. If you can’t do something it means you are powerless. You want to and need to claim your power.

If you want and need to become more powerful YOU need to begin to think of yourself as powerful. You have to see yourself and tell yourself that you are in charge. You have to act like someone in charge.You want to develop a mind set that you can and will do what you want. You can and will do what you say you will and you will keep your word. Various research concludes that people who say ‘I don’t’ instead of ‘I can’t’ had more positive behavior changes because they had more self control.

If you think and say, ‘I don’t eat chips’ instead of ‘I can’t stop eating chips’ the difference is two fold. First, you become a person who does not engage in the particular behavior. You are a person in power and control. That is part of your identity. Second, as a result of the first reason, the behavior does not control or determine your future YOU do. When you are not the type of person who does something you don’t do it. When you are in charge, when you have control, when you make the decisions everything is different. You become the person who does or does not do something rather than letting behaviors determine what you are able to do.

Feel free to add that you are the kind of person who ‘can’ control behaviors. YOU can make decisions and stick to them. You don’t let snacks (or other habits) govern you. You are the kind of person who IS able to control your behaviors. So you will. How we think about ourselves and what we say has an incredible impact on what we are able to do and not do. Thoughts lead to actions. Govern your thoughts and words and you can govern your behaviors.

Decide to be in charge of your life. Think and say those things that move you forward. Think and say only those things that heal, bless and prosper you and others. Realize who you are, what kind of person you are and what you are able to accomplish. Think it, say it claim it! BE IT!” Rex Sikes

You Have Been Lied To! Change Isn’t Difficult. It Is Easy!

“Have you tried to change something and found it difficult? Did you give up because you thought it was too hard? Are you living other than you want to because you may attempted to be different but have not yet succeeded? Do you realize those attempts speak volumes to you?

Begin to look at them and examine them and see that they were necessary for you to learn many things. Whether you actually learned them or not the possibility existed. In every challenge there IS the seed of opportunity. In every failure there is feedback. You only have to be open and look.

Many people give up because they believe it to be hard. They expect a rough road. The can’t see past the difficulty to a brighter day. Therein lies the issue. If you expect it to be tough it is far more likely to be tough than if you expect it to be easy.

Our mindset, the beliefs, the perceptions, the biases, the past experiences we go to when we evaluate future actions shape how we perceive the future and our success. Our own thoughts prevent us.

happiness depends on quality of your thoughts

When we believe something to be easy and that we are able to accomplish it effortlessly we may encounter challenge. If we believe we can handle any challenge and make it through then we most likely will. After all, it is all only in our heads! It is whatever we think or decide it will be. Our own thoughts see us through to a success!

If truth be told, it is actually easier to change than most people think it is. It is easy. It is truly, very easy! Since many don’t think so they make it tougher than it is. People think changing their thinking is not all that easy. It is! It really, truly, actually is.

You are only replacing a thought with a different more productive thought. You are only making a different decision to think something or do something or feel something else! You are not stopping something, giving something up or making any sacrifice you are changing your thoughts like you change your socks. You switch them.

When you are watching television and you tire of a program do you struggle to change the channel?  Are you afraid it is too difficult and give up or do you simply use the control to look elsewhere for something you prefer more? You surf to something more enjoyable. Or do you sit there are fret, worry and get sad? Are you afraid to switch from one channel to the next? Is it so difficult to decide?

Do you see the folly most of us buy into? We think changing our minds is tough when in fact we do it numerous times each day. We change, we opt out of and into something else. The only reason you don’t actually have to force yourself to change channels and you may force yourself to eat better, or think better IS because of your pre-conditioned thoughts about each. You know you can do it!

You don’t give changing the channel (or your socks)  it a second thought but you have stories, and excuses, and reasons, blah, blah, blah about a time/s when you tried something and it didn’t work out as you had hoped. STOP IT! Stop indulging in useless, less than glorious, non-productive thinking. Just stop it! Put the excuses to rest.

Change is easy! It can be easy. Once you do it change gets even easier. Since birds of a feather flock together and like attracts like, if you think it is difficult you produce more of the same kind of thoughts. You get one bad reason, one poor excuse after another.

The same will be true if you switch your thinking to more productive, powerful, positive thinking. You generate more productive, powerful, positive thoughts. IT DOES work both ways. You get more of whatever you focus on. You  become what you think about. It gets easier and easier!

IT IS EASY! You decide to do it and you do it! As you do you will discover it getting easier and easier. Eventually you get into the flow. So stop fighting it and give in. Give up the excuses and go with the flow. That is easy! It is actually easier than you THINK it is BECAUSE you only think it isn’t. Do you understand how silly it is for you to think it is tough? It is ONLY a thought that is stopping you.

You want to be in charge of your thoughts and not have them in charge of you! SO decide, take control, take charge and begin making the positive changes you want to make. You are only changing the channel from a less than glorious story and bevy of excuses to a more positive powerful story.

You make these kind of decisions and changes each and every day. Make them again in your own best interests. It IS easy. You will find it so when you get it going. You will discover a momentum as you move along. BUT nothing wil change unless you decide to do it now! It is completely up to you! Don’t wait. Make it happen today!” Rex Sikes

Power Words: How Can I Help You?

“The longer I have lived and the more I have experienced the more I realize that being there for one another is what living is all about. We look for meaning and purpose. We have been called ‘meaning makers’ and ‘time binders’ by anthropologists. We seek inside ourselves and outside ourselves for ‘something’ greater.

We have our sciences, our stories, our philosophies, our religions to inform us and comfort us. Few of us successfully live alone and solitary confinement is considered a very cruel inhumane form of punishment. Why might these things be so?

Because we as a species band together. From earliest times of bands and tribes and groups we form ties and have worked, played, loved and moved together. With the  rise industrial revolution people began to leave their clans, their burrows, their neighborhoods, travel far and seek employment and their dreams in other neighborhoods. From one place to another place they journeyed. Landing in a new area they formed new ties. Cities grew larger.

So what am I getting at with all this? We are social creatures. We can’t really live well without one another. It is true that we seek out our own kind; we group by race, religion, economics, politics and a few other factors.

We ostracize by these same factors. We gather, support, defend based on mostly mentally manufactured distinctions. ‘They look the same as me’ okay part of my group. They look different not part of my group. ‘They think the same as me’; my group. They think otherwise, not part of my group. And on and on.

People do categorize each other as part of the ‘in group’, or not. This is unfortunate that as a people we have not all successfully learned to get along and accommodate our differences. Still, it is the current way of the world. We have to learn how to live together without prejudices and looking for those elements that could separate us. We need to seek harmony, acceptance, and embrace our differences.

you are a living magnet

I think we can move toward embracing all and become one people, one world even if there is a lot of resistance toward that from various mindsets. The world is still divided and may be for sometime or forever. My point is we band together. Like groups attract like groups. We don’t live alone. We need each other and we seek each other out and form ties.

Since we need each other one of the most powerful ways to create strong ties IS to assist each other. When we help each other we grow closer to each other.We create bond. Not only is that important but when you or I help another person learn to do something, overcome a difficulty or accomplish something important to them we not only help THAT person but we help ourselves too! We grow together independently. We make them and we make ourselves feel better!

There are those in the world who don’t want to help. They want to own, to have and to protect what they claim is theirs and ostracize and blame others. I get that. I don’t think that helps them live more wonderful lives but I get their reasoning. I can empathize with their thinking and their potential fears.

I also think and believe and operate from ‘what we think about we bring about’. The more we fear the more we have to fear and are more fearful. The more we love and accept the more we have to love and accept. I do not believe we have a more peaceful world by engaging in more wars. We have a more peaceful world when we all embrace being peaceful.

People band together so supporting each other and helping each other makes sense. Some religions are founded on and practice helping others. They believe in helping those like us and those unlike us. Therefore, I return to The Golden Rule which I have come to believe is one of the most important concepts and practices we can embody. It truly is an incredible and important practice to begin to understand and apply.

‘Do unto others as you would have others do unto you’. Treat others the way you prefer to be treated. Hey, most all of us, dare I say, all of us, want love, acceptance, kindness, life, liberty, happiness and more good things. We want connection, we want health, wealth and well being. We want family and friends. We want meaning and a sense of significance.  We want to be liked. We want to be understood and loved.

We want to be important to each other. We don’t want isolation, rejection, fear, famine or  poverty. We want to mean something to each other, to have a sense of dignity and productivity. I think most people want these things. They want peace, joy and community.

So to treat each other this way first IS what the golden rule is about. What we think about we bring about so it begins with out thoughts. How we think about others is important! We need to think the best, the highest, the finest even when that may be most difficult. Why? BECAUSE that is what the golden rule is about.

YOU treat others HOW you want to be treated. What do you want? Do you want to be identified as unacceptable and as a less than desirable person? Do you want to be rejected, isolated devalued and discarded? DO you want to be treated in any of these ways? I doubt it. How we think about others IS important and it speaks volumes about who we are, what we believe and what we do or practice.

Everything ALL begins with out thoughts. What we think about we become. If we think less of others much of the time how are we helping anyone or anything be better? If we refuse to think positively about anyone or a situation how are we helping anyone or anything become better? We aren’t lifting anything up if we are busy in our minds tearing it down. So how we think and what we think IS critical!

What we say and do is equally important. We should make it a point to never say or do anything that doesn’t bless, heal or prosper ourselves and one another. If we keep this in mind we actively seek and work to better ourselves and those around us.

We can get more of we want by helping others get more of what they want and need. We work together to bring us all to a higher more respectable place. We work together peacefully to bring about peacefulness. Can you understand this? We only elevate the world when we think, speak and behave that way.

We concentrate on what we want to experience more of and then we help ourselves and each other have more of it. We make our lives and the world much more wonderful when we co-operative and help each other. True, some may resist your help, may not want your help, may resent your help but love them and embrace them and accept them even when they do. That is the higher road. Do not judge.

Perhaps, that is what is meant by ‘turn the other cheek’. When we are rebuffed, belittled, rejected, despised, hurt, attacked or abused maybe we should still find a way to forgive and love those who have done harm to us because when we are able to do that we are free. We are free to live and love others and ourselves without the baggage of vengeful thoughts. If we live hating others we contaminate our own experience. We need to find a higher way to think, and be and act that serves us in the most positive ways.

So some of the most powerful words you may speak to another person whether a close family member, friend, associate or stranger may be ‘How can I help you?’ People around us may be going through some tough times and the best way you may be able to demonstrate care, love, acceptance and support is to offer to help without judgement.

Wouldn’t you like it if someone offered assistance to you when times are tough AND they don’t judge you or make you feel less than glorious when doing so? Think ‘higher purpose’. Keep this in mind; what can I think, do and say that will bless, heal and prosper myself and others?

When you help others you do help yourself. Research demonstrates that helping others, giving back, paying forward can increase your own sense of purpose and overall self-satisfaction. When you freely volunteer to help without conditions or expecting payback you are uplifting your own soul. You can help those close to you and you can also choose to volunteer in your community or to a cause you feel is important.

Whenever you can relieve suffering of another person; a child, someone elderly, a friend or stranger it makes you feel good does it not? Doesn’t it make you feel better whenever you are able to relieve the suffering of an animal? Whenever you help to put s smile on another person’s face it makes you smile more, doesn’t it. You feel good when you help others feel good, don’t you?

According to Todd Farchione, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist at Boston University’s Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders he states that JUST offering to support someone is a good way to support them. ‘If you really want to help somebody, then the way you should go about it is to ask yourself if you can be supportive of the individual in a way that allows them to tell you about what they’re experiencing and why they may be experiencing that.’

So maybe the words, ‘Can I help you’ or “How can I support you in this’ are some of the most important words you can say. One of the most important things you can then DO is to LISTEN and absolutely accept what they say. DON’T argue, or instruct, or reject, don’t insist, simply listen, accept and take their side. Support them in the way they ask to be supported. If and when it is appropriate perhaps you can help in additional other ways.

I think most people WANT to be heard and understood. Sometimes they want to be accepted even when they act bizarre because they simply want someone to love and care for them anyway. So listen and respond to them and their actual needs and what they say they are.

Don’t project on them what you think they need or what they need to understand about their problem or issue. Accept and lift them up. After all, wouldn’t you want someone to approach you and accept you for who you are? Don’t you want someone who would listen carefully to you and support you because they care about you? Wouldn’t you prefer that they not judge you? I know I sure do.

I think we create a more loving, peaceful and wonderful world when we do this even in small ways. I do think it helps pay it forward and it contributes to everyone overall. The more we each take responsibility to live peacefully, lovingly, helpful, joyfully the more contagious good things become. The more we are able to contribute first to others unconditionally the more good things we create or generate. The big key is unconditional giving. No one likes stings attached to anything.

What we resist persists. Fighting war with war only makes more of the same. So the choice is each of ours to make. What do we want to create, attract and have more of? We know what we want to eliminate. We will eliminate it faster by attracting more of what we want  than by fighting what we don’t want.

The Golden Rule is a way we change the world person by person. We think, speak and act only in ways that bless, heal and prosper. When we do this we help others ANDt we help ourselves, immensely. We help everyone when we actively ‘go first’. When we live our lives with love and well being in our hearts we help make the world a much more enjoyable place. So live, love, laugh and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

Do This! Start The New Year Right!

“The New Year is upon us. Happy New Year! This is a time when people make resolutions for a new beginning. It is an exciting time January 1. The truth is everyday is the start on a new day and a new year. Anytime you decide to make a change is valid. You can begin new each day.

A good start to this year, whenever you decide to make the change would be to be nicer to yourself. Stop being mean. Be kind, be gentle, be encouraging. We think and say some terrible things to ourselves that we would never or should never say to another person. So this year make it a point to be good to you.

Put a guard before your thoughts and your lips. Make it a point to only speak what helps you (and others) feel blessed, heal and prosper. Everyone makes mistakes so accept it and nurture yourself along instead of criticizing or  blaming. Stop getting down on yourself!

Understand that you did the best you could at the time with the information or tools that you had then. Learn from your mistakes. Look for the lesson and the seeds of opportunity and move forward by giving yourself support instead of reprimand. Be peaceful and love yourself.

Find a way to think the best of you. Expect the best of you! Understand that if you don’t know how to do something, yet, you can learn to as you apply yourself and stick with it. Understand that when you undertake any new learning you aren’t the best right out of the gate, you aren’t proficient yet, you are learning it. So give yourself a break and allow the time it takes for you to get the hang of it.

Whenever you think or speak poorly of yourself or others, whenever you are off track or feeling less than glorious nudge yourself back towards feeling better and thinking more positively. Take baby steps and move yourself along. Don’t let yourself stay stuck for long.

Be patient with yourself and your progress. You can’t push a rope. You can’t push a river either. Accept yourself, accept where you are at, allow it and learn to relax and go with the flow. Treat yourself as you would a new born or toddler. Encourage and be thrilled as your progress.

Be thrilled when you progress! I repeat it.  Be enthusiastic. Fill yourself with positive energy and thoughts. Savor and enjoy feeling well. Take delight in little things. Find ways to enjoy the moment. Gift yourself from time to time. Have a special ‘me’ time when you treat yourself extra well. Appreciate you for no reason other than you can.

I am blessed and I am talented

Realize every day is an opportunity to be grateful, feel thankful and celebrate. Fill your time with positive images in your mental movie theater, positive self talk and positive wonderful feelings. Make each moment marvelous and each day will be too. Celebrate and appreciate!

Take advantage of the new year whatever day you decide it falls on. Have fun, trust yourself more, focus on your goals and what you want and will make happen. Focus less on the circumstances around you. If

Whenever you find yourself thinking about what you don’t want realize that informs you about what it is you really want. Then shift your focus and spend your time thinking about what you DO want. Keep your attention on what you want to create and the things you are grateful for. You can be do or have anything you want in life.

Whenever you feel less than glorious recognize the feelings as a signal to shift into feeling better. Then think better, take some deep breathes, take a break, go for a walk or do some physical activity that helps you feel better and move into better feelings. Move from the less than glorious toward the glorious in increments. The goal is to feel your best most of your time.

gratitude is the attitude that propels you forward

When you are feeling down one of the best ways to help yourself is to help another person feel  better. Give as you are able, support someone else, encourage and nurture another person and you will begin to feel better. What you put out there you get back. Help someone to feel good and you will feel better.

As you do these things, as you celebrate and appreciate and love yourself more you and your life will transform in wonderfully positive ways.” Rex Sikes

You Are Creators Act Like It! Start Getting What You Want.

“Most people look around, see what is happening, and feel something about it in response. They let the present circumstances, people and events determine how they feel. They use their senses as evidence of the results they are getting. They think ‘I will believe it when I see it’.

Somehow  they think seeing  is not subject to deception but it is. All our senses leave information out, and can distort what is actually there. We trust too much in our perceptions which can be very wrong. They do deceive us often. Looking at circumstances is a mistake when you want to create something. You have to look at what you want to create instead.

For most people life happens to them and they react to it. They react out of habit.  As we grew up and life situations were repeated our brains hard wired the responses in. It did it to streamline them. We don’t have much  choice. We may be afraid of things we have nothing to fear. Our brains did a marvelous job though. We react similarly in fight, freeze or flight. We react similarly to positive stimuli too.

You are on automatic if when a good thing happens you feel good and when bad things happen and you feel bad.  So you break the cycle.  Instead of being a victim on automatic and looking around and letting the accompanying feelings dictate what we think, feel and do we NOW add awareness and choice.

you will see it when you believe it

Now instead you decide how you want to feel and then you look. In this way you have control. You don’t let the circumstances dictate, instead you choose your feelings and you dictate the circumstances. This is how we create something positive and productive. This is claiming your power.

For most people, maybe you, because you don’t see evidence of wealth you don’t believe it is coming to you. You see only lack, or debt or bills and wonder how you will every get out of it. You worry about it and hope for the best but know it is difficult. This is letting the results or the circumstances dictate your thinking and feeling. Keep in mind that like thoughts attract like thoughts. Birds of a feather flock together. You become what you think about.

You do not get out of debt and become wealthy thinking thoughts about being poor. To see improvement or get wealthy you need to be thinking thoughts or wealth, positive creation, having plenty and feeling grateful. Then you attract those.

This is true about anything you want! You don’t get healthy focused on sickness. You don’t get happy focused on sadness or distress. You don’t relax by thinking thoughts of worry. In order for you to get what you want you need to repeatedly focus on WHAT it is that you want!

It is the reverse that works. This is difficult for most people to understand and accept but it really is the key. Believe it and you will see the evidence. It works in the complete opposite to how we think it does. In order to have it you believe it first and then you will see it.

you are a living magnet

Everything first exists as a thought. Thought precedes all human action. Nothing that was created by a human came into being prior to thinking it into being.  Believing precedes seeing! It is not as we were led to think about it. It is not see it and then believe it it is believe it first and then you will see it. Belief is faith in things unseen otherwise it is not faith at all. Faith and positive expectations make it happen!

So you create it in your mental movie theater. You see what you want to create and what you want to have. You make it vivid and detailed. Writing it down helps clarify. You get real clear about what you want to be, do or have in your life. You focus on it repeatedly, obsessively. You adjust it and enhance it and make it more real and more vivid so that you can taste it! You see it and feel it! Feeling it is important.

You see yourself already being, doing or having what it is you want. You see it already accomplished. It is yours and you are living it. You spend time each day as often as you can reviewing and living this reality. At least five minutes morning and night and any other time. This becomes your preoccupation your dominant thoughts that you think. When you spend this time you want to feel the best feelings! You want to feel how you would feel living this reality!

You have control and are in charge of yourself. Accept the responsibility. Be 100% at cause then the effects (the results) you create are your responsibility. Actually they always already were. You are always creating but you may not have liked the results you were getting. Now you take deliberate charge of the creation process and create what you DO want. YOU make it happen!

you are entirely up to you

You stay focused on your mental movies. You think the best positive thoughts throughout the day. You use your feelings as a signel for when you are on target and aligned. If you feel less than glorious it means somewhere inside you you are off track so find ways to make yourself feel better. They goal is to spend as much time each day feeling good.

Use the signal of your feelings to adjust. When you are feeling good you are on target with your goals and desires. You are manifesting good things when feeling good. Stay focused on gratitude in the past and present. Be grateful for everything, celebrate.

Learn from mistakes, and be grateful you can learn and grow. Fill your mind with positive inspirational material, books and audios. Hang around with positive productive people who are making their dreams come true. Become a positive powerful creative force and have fun and delight in all of it. Celebrate. Embrace it and relax. Remember you are in charge of your vibrations. Whatever you put out in the universe you get back more of the same. Like attracts like, birds of a feather flock together. The reason you do not have more is because you look around, see what you have and what you don’t and feel bad. You attract more of the same lack and poor feelings.

When you use your eyes to determine your situation you are creating more of the same. You look at your present and accept it as your lot. You think I am tired of this, I want more I don’t want to be poor but you do not create wealth and well being by attracting more of what you do not want.

In order to attract wealth and well being you have to feel wealth and well being. You have to spend time feeling it! Feel wonderful and enjoying having wealth and well being and in response you attract more of the same. This is what your inner movie theater helps you do. You think it, see it, create it in your mind and have the feelings of what you want.

You see it and enjoy the feelings. Savor the feelings and do this repeatedly. Keep doing it. Your thoughts, feelings and words all congruently align with your desires. You stop resisting and you start making happen what you want to happen. You end the inner conflict, you end the mixed results and you start getting what you want. You attract resources, other people and situations.

You attract more abundance, more delight, more well being because like attracts like, birds of a feather flock together. You will reap whatever you have sown. What are you currently sowing? If you are focused on less than glorious circumstances and lack of wealth and well being you will get back much more of the same. Focus on what you really, really want instead. Make that happen. Create it!

Keep your vibrations high. Keep them positive, joyful, glorious and you will have everything you want. Don’t dig up the seeds to insure they are growing. Forget looking at the current results. Have faith that what you plant you will reap. YOU WILL! Believe it and eventually you will see it! Everything takes time so during the time it takes focus on what you want.

Don’t seek evidence that what you are doing is working accept that it is and move forward. If you compare how far away you are from where you want to be you interrupt the process and get the mixed results. THIS is what you have always already been doing in the past. You have been looking for evidence. STOP IT! Believe and you will ultimately see. It may be hard at first but it gets easier and easier.

You open the way to have more because you enjoy and are thankful for all things. You sow you reap. You are where you thoughts have brought you.  You will be where your thoughts take you. It is time to take charge of your thoughts. Your future you will some day be your present. What do you want that present to be? Create it now!

Your feelings are your guidance system. If you feel less than glorious your thinking is less than glorious. If you are feeling wonderful your thoughts are positive and productive. Follow your bliss and bliss will fill you. You have no excuse you have created your life as it is. Accept it! That is the most powerful moment you can have.

Do This When You Want To Feel Good!

“Are you ever down or lack energy? Does it seem that  sometimes your thoughts or feelings carry you where you don’t want to go? Have you tried to get ahead or feel better but you just keep getting more of the same?  If you answered yes to any of these questions you are not alone.

There are some things you can do that bring change about quickly. I have shared many of these with you in this blog. Please go back and read through the blog again and again as many great golden nuggets will leap out at you through multiple readings.

I have been discussing gratitude and feeling grateful is one of the quickest ways to changing how you feel for the better. You have to do it to get the change you can’t just give lip service to it. The way to feel grateful is to look at your present life and your past and find everything and everyone you are actually thankful for. It can be very tiny or very large. Everything counts! There are scores of things you take for granted. Go back and find these. What are they? You can write them down. That is a great practice.

What are the things you feel grateful for? Then notice WHY you are grateful for them. What are the reasons? This is an important piece. What and Why! You want to actually FEEL grateful and these help.

For example, ‘I am grateful for my feet. They have carried me near and far. All my life I have traveled and my feet have carried me and supported me. I would not have been able to do much or all of what I have done if I didn’t have feet that worked so well. They have taken me on adventures, gotten me in trouble, but I have seen and experienced so much because of my feet. My toes, the bones, the joints, the tissues. Everything about my feet I am thankful for.’

It can be anything! All your bodily processes, your muscles, your organs, your health and well being, you ability to think and remember, your ability to speak, see, hear, touch, taste, smell, read and write, The people in your life, good and bad, the lessons you have learned as a result of challenges. The challenges and opportunities that have helped make you who you are today. All events, situations and circumstances. Your things, where you have been. Your education or lack of it. EVERYTHING is available for you to list.

It is important to be really thankful to feel it. Just reciting a list will not get you very far. Yes, it is better than not doing anything at all and it may be the grease that makes the wheel eventually move smoothly but the point is to ACTUALLY FEEL gratitude. So what are you grateful and why. Spend at least 5 minutes every morning when you first get up. Before your feet hit the floor count your blessings! It is a  great way to energize your day.

Too many people get out of bed dreading what the day may bring or that they have to be ending their sleep. Learn to greet the day with enthusiasm, with vim and vigor as they say! Get excited about what the new day will bring. After all it is an entirely new day. The only thing that keeps it the same as yesterday is our perceptions and routines. So shake them up add in some fun and some novelty and enjoy the new day. Feel better.

Do your five minutes gratitude prior to going to sleep, You are always welcome to do  for longer, but 5 minutes twice a day is practical for you. It is easy to accomodate.

Another thing you can do that we have discussed in past posts is to shift your physiology. Move your body into productive postures and movements. For example, You can stand up and imagine what you look like, stand like and move like when you have 5 times the amount of energy you presently have. Actually move your body, shake it up. You have to be willing to play to win so do it!

Then do 10 times, 20 and more. Move you body and walk around feeling the added energy. It is pretend but it works! When you move your body into the same physical arrangements as when you are feeling great you begin to feel great.  It is hardwired into your neurology. You can’t help but to begin to re-experience it!

If you want to be more confident stand with shoulders back, chest out, chin up look ahead, strut, stomp, walk and move, breath as someone who has lots of confident. Move and talk and act as you do when you do feel powerful and secure and confident in yourself! Do it. It is pretend but it works! You are behaving now as you do when you have had these feelings in the past. Any feeling you have is yours to re-live and make work for you.

See yourself in your mind’s eye when you are filled with confidence and power and acting resourcefully. Listen to how you sound when you speak with authority and purpose. Feel the feelings as you look and listen. Feel the feelings as you do the behaviors of behaving with confidence and power. Notice how good it feels to actually do this.

Whenever you want to feel instantly better,stop what you are doing take a deep breath or two or three and shift you physiology. Really do it. Stand or sit as you would feeling better. Remember vividly times in your past when you felt good or felt great. Choose one and relive it in your mind and then try it on with your body and movements. Use your body and your voice the same way. Find other times too if you want. Re-live it.

You lived it your body knows it. Your brain knows it. You know it deep inside. So re-activate it. You re-create it inside and outside. You put it on as you would some clothes. You do it as an actor would do it. You re-live it and when you do, even in pretend, your brain and body bring back the feelings of feeling good. It is awesome and it is powerful!

You already do this, outside of conscious awareness, to feel good and not so good. Your body has body memory. Now, you are taking deliberate conscious control of a mechanism that already works reliably and you are aiming it at what you want instead. You are making it work for you by choice, by making a positive decision in the moment when you need it. You are taking charge of it!

After you have done it and have changed your feelings imagine other times in the future when you might want to feel better again. What would be the triggering thought, event or person that might make you feel less than glorious.? Run it in your imagination, see the triggering moment and then choose to feel better.

Watch yourself change it from less than resourceful into feeling what you want to feel instead. Run some of these movies in your head. Pick another two or three situations in your life and see you move from less than glorious to glorious. You are using what your body and mind already do purposely. You are learning to skillfully take charge of it and become more resourceful. This is another skill to be grateful for.

Learn to run your brain and make it work for you!  Learn to take charge or your neurology to serve you. You make the decision and instruct your unconscious what you want to do. You keep doing it and you make it a habit.

You make a positive habit of deciding to act on you own behalf and transform your less than glorious moments into more glorious ones. Use it at every opportunity and even when you don’t need it in the moment. You can use it anytime you want to feel better.

Since your mind and body already know what to do all you have to do is steer it productively. The more you do this the easier and quicker it becomes. The more you make it a habit the more you will delight and surprise yourself.  You will discover  yourself more delighted and enjoying life overall. Correct repetition builds habits.

These are two very powerful, positive, productive ways you can instantly turn a less than glorious moment or feelings into better ones. They will not do you any good at all unless you actually do them. Remember, you can fake it till you make it but you have to engage the processes! The goal is to transform more of your moments in your day into feeling good moments.

You get what you predominantly think and feel during each day. When you are feeling wonderful and on top of the world your energy is higher and more positive. When you are living mostly in high frequency positive energy you attract and create more of the same.

You literally vibrate at a higher level. All good things can come to you when you  live in gratitude because true appreciation is one of the highest forms of energy. So make it a point to feel as good as you can any moment of the day. Even if it is not ecstatic the goal is to aim yourself into feeling better or as good as you can.

Go for all the gusto you can AND keep in mind that you want to feel the best you can. It is not about plastering a fake greeting card smile on your face when times are tough. There are times when we may grieve or feel less than happy. These are true moments. Accept that.

In these times make it a point to help yourself feel a little bit better. Baby steps are fine and may be all you can seem to take. The goal is not to feel worse so if you try to make to big a leap into feeling wonderful and you don’t feel it. Stop.

Stop and take some deep breaths, take a nap, a break, and later, a little while later, make a smaller move towards feeling better. This is still making it work for you because you are gently aiming your energy in a more positive direction. So there may be times like this. Most of the time you can move forward into feeling incredible.

When every fiber of your being lives in a state of appreciation for whatever is in your life, good and bad, because YOU KNOW that even the bad has seeds of opportunity YOU are living well. YOU are able to see opportunity you otherwise might not, you feel incredible, you attract and create all good things. Birds of a feather flock together. Like attracts like. Here’s How You Can Instantly Change How You Feel!

“It is important to fill our minds with positive thoughts and possibilities. It is good practice to listen to those who can inspire and motivate us to move forward and make our lives the way we want them to be. We can read, listen to audio, spend time with positive mentors and others who help us in our positive pursuits.

We need to celebrate more, enjoy and delight, feel grateful most of the time. Never let anything stop us from legitimately making our dreams a reality. Persist and keep going. We only fail when we stop attempting.  Here’s some food for thought for your daily nutrition.

Michael Jordan points out, ‘I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.’

Considered one of the all time greats in basketball he states he succeeded because he failed over and over. Michael did not give up.

Failure is an important part of succeeding. It teaches us what we need to do. It shows us when we are aimed in the wrong direction. It allows us to stop and start again with new useful information. Don’t fear failure but embrace it. Accept that it is feedback for us to actually move forward.

Ellen DeGeneres states, ‘When you take risks you learn that there will be times when you succeed and there will be times when you fail, and both are equally important.’

We have to face our fears and keep on moving. One of the great military generals of the U.S. shared what to do about fears we encounter. George S. Patton stated ‘ The time to take counsel of your fears is before you make an important battle decision. That’s the time to listen to every fear you can imagine! When you have collected all the facts and fears and made your decision, turn off all your fears and go ahead!’  He points out that we will have fears but we should not be a victim of them.

There will always be people who think we are fanciful. There will be those who say no to us. We can not let nay sayers prevent us from being who we are and accomplishing what we want to accomplish. ‘I am thankful for all of those who said NO to me. It’s because of them I’m doing it myself,’  said Albert Einstein. Don’t let people rain on your parade. You can be respectful and move forward anyway.

Jack Canfield,the author of ‘Chicken Soup of The Soul’ series gives this powerful advice. ‘Don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.’

In order for your life to change you have to change some things. You will miss out if you don’t ever try So don’t worry about failing. Be worried about not ever attempting to do anything!

For most people it is small changes made at the right time and consistently applied that gives them the most leverage. Thinking better, feeling better, acting with passion are things we can begin to do today to make our lives measurably better. One of the most potent formulas for instantaneous change is: Fill your mind and being with gratitude!

Celebrate everything you have, the abilities you have no matter how small; seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, feeling, walking, reading, writing. Celebrate the people in your life you love, family, friends, and others. Celebrate anything and everything. Fill your mind with thankfulness and your life begins to immediately transform.

You attract what you think and feel most of through the day. When you feel alive, passionate, joyful, happy, thankful you attract more of the same! You attract whatever you predominantly think about.

For those who feel really down, the goal is to begin to feel a little bit better. Move incrementally, take baby steps toward feeling more positive by finding those elements and people and situations in your life, present and past that you are glad about.

Remember all that you feel thankful about and remember all the reasons WHY you are grateful. You will change. You will begin to change. Make it a daily practice. Write them down, think about them any moment you feel less than glorious. Fill yourself with gratefulness!

If you are feeling down change your thinking to ANYTHING else that you are grateful about. Recount your blessings and consider WHY you are blessed. In a few seconds, less than 20 seconds, your mind and being can begin to shift.  Stay with it. Do it for a minute or more. As you do it and feel the shift you will want to stay with it.

It doesn’t take much to make the shift happen. Bathe yourself in gratitude and well being. Linger in the better feelings and as you do you continue to attract much more. Can you spend at least 5 minutes morning and night? When you do great things can begin to happen. Make it a habit and overall your life will wonderfully improve.

ANYTIME, really ANYTIME you catch yourself feeling less than glorious or negative, STOP, notice it, take a deep breath, let it out slowly and begin to look for things  in your life you are grateful for. The Three ‘R’s To Happiness And Success

“Remember there are three ‘R’s that are important to adhere to. When you follow these fully you will find life much better. Most people drop the ball on one or more of the three but all three work together. So don’t skimp out. Keep these in mind and put these into practice.

The first is Respect Yourself. Acknowledge, Appreciate, Love, Forgive and Accept yourself. Value yourself. Let go of past mistakes as you extract the learning from them. Don’t hang on to the past move forward. Monitor your thoughts and feeling and keep them positive.

Your self talk is important! Think and speak lovingly and kindly to yourself.  Fill your mind with positivity. Make positive mental images See yourself they way you want to be and imagine already being that way. Imagine what that is like. Feel good about yourself.  Use daily positive affirmations and Directed Questions.

Have enough respect for yourself to enjoy yourself and your life! Fill your moments with gratitude and appreciation for yourself, however imperfect (because we all are) and everyone and everything!

When you speak of yourself in your own mind and out loud, and when you speak of others only speak words that Bless, Heal and Help Prosper. Look for the best in you and the best in them. Train your mind to see the good in everyone and everything. The Golden Rule applies. Go first by treating others the way you prefer to be treated. If you respect yourself you will respect them!

The Third is Take Responsibility for all your actions. Take 100% responsibility everything. Don’t blame, don’t accuse, don’t make excuses for yourself. When you make yourself responsible you put yourself in the driver’s seat of your own life. You put yourself in charge. You make the decisions. If something happens or not it is up to you. That is the way it is anyway.

The masses blame circumstances and events and people for why things are the way they are. That is the great deception. Those who make things happen know it is completely up to them.

For example, millionaires are made in good and bad economies. Those who blame economic situations rarely prevail. Those who do whatever they are determined to do, will. So don’t put your responsibility outside of yourself.

Ain’t NO Success Without Passion

Success is not serious. Success, when you ‘hit it’, is not somber. Success is filled with positive energy. Success is flow! Success is celebration. Success is fun! Success is passion! Success is enthusiastic. Success is incredible.

You can be successful in your job or career. You can be a partner in a successful relationship. You can have success with your family ties. You can be successful in health. You can enjoy success in your leisure and playtime. Success is not just about money it is an overall attitude. It is having a winning wonderful feeling and enjoying everything you can. Most importantly you can be successful  with your life!

A key ingredient in successful people is passion and enthusiasm. It is the energy that charges determination and commitment. It is the powerful positive life giving emotions that charge us up and keep us moving forward. It is the life blood that flows making our journey enjoyable. Without passion, without enthusiasm getting ahead is much more difficult, uncertain and boring.

If you look at the fabulously well off in any of the areas I mentioned above notice that most, and I mean MOST, will have a zest for life. They enjoy and embrace life ferociously. Some may over indulge and have giant appetites. I am not suggesting you should go that far I am pointing out that there is great energy in their lives.

Passion comes from knowing clearly what you want! Enthusiasm comes from believing you will get it. The closer you get to your goal the more eager and excited you are. It is a holiday and you are getting gifts and you can’t wait! This is the attitude. Clearly, you know you are getting what you want. Passion comes from this powerful clarity of purpose!

What can you do? Get clear on your purpose. Get clear on your mission. Get clear on what Napoleon Hill referred to as your ‘definite chief aim’. Get absolutely clear on what it is you want.  Write it down, create a blueprint. Hill said, ‘What the mind can conceive and believe you can achieve’.

First you have to know what it is. Second you have to believe it is possible. If it is too big a leap for you to believe it and feel like you can have it KEEP IT, but keep it in the background and pick a smaller goal that moves you along the road to your larger goal. Pick one that you can believe. Go as small as you have to in order to KNOW FOR CERTAIN you can accomplish it.

Once you make that happen you will be able and ready for a larger goal. You will work your way up the ladder picking up one goal after the other on you way to the big one!

Once you have picked your goal you wire it in through repetition of thought. You read it each day at least once, better twice, best even more. You read it to yourself, you read it out loud WITH ENTHUSIASM, you read it looking into the mirror, but you read it and review it every single day without fail.

You memorize it in doing this. PLUS,  you close your eyes for a few minutes and vividly imagine yourself having already accomplished this goal and how incredible it looks, sounds and FEELS! Review this in your mind movies and feel wonderful.

Repetition creates habit. You want it wired into your unconscious mind that THIS is what you want and what you feel.

The process has been called autosuggestion. You give your unconscious mind a clear vivid picture of what you want to accomplish and you repeat it loud and long until ‘it’ gets it!

Your unconscious mind will ‘get it’. It will get the message that this blueprint is what you want to make happen. It will ONLY get it if you do what is suggested faithfully and don’t quit. You must be consistent about it!

When it ‘GETS IT’ you will have successfully aligned your conscious and unconscious mind to go after your goal and make it happen. You become one mind, congruent, working together. The self sabotage ends and you move forward in harmony. Your beliefs, your habits, your perceptions, your actions, your thoughts and feelings all get into alignment and dedicated to accomplishing your goal.

A lot of people go one step forward and then back then forward. Everything is a struggle. They just can’t seem to break free from where they are. They are stuck. They don’t like it but they can’t change it. This is because there is no harmony between the two minds. The conscious mind wants something while the unconscious wants something else.

Think of the unconscious as your thermostat. A thermostat works to keep things the same. Whatever temperature you originally set it to is what it keeps. If it gets a degree too cool it churns up the heat, if it gets too warm it shuts off for awhile and lets the temp return to ‘normal’. During our life we somehow set our thermostats and in order for us to succeed we need to change the setting.

I won’t go into how we did it suffice to say our thermostat is comprised of our beliefs, habits, and perceptions. It has been wired into us though experiences, others and by conditioning. It is a reliable system designed to keep you safely where you are. It is  protective for certain and it doesn’t care. If you set it at poverty level it will work to keep you there. If you set it to smoke it will keep you there. It doesn’t care whether the result is positive or negative it only  knows to keep it the same.

UNTIL YOU CHANGE THE SETTING! And I just shared with you how to do that. You conceive, you build your faith, you stick with it through passion and enthusiasm and you will make it happen.
